Here I am! Thank you for all the birthday wishes! What a great group you guys are. Can you imagine — when I was your age (which really wasn’t THAT long ago) there was no such thing as a Blog!
The closest thing we had was maybe having a pen pal. But I’d always get one who never wrote back.
And if I wanted to say something to my cousin who lived on 800 miles away or so, I wrote and mailed her a letter. And then about a month later, she wrote me a letter. I know … it sounds totally weird.. but I swear it’s true. For my birthday every year I always got a box of stationery.
Maybe in a few years they’ll be Blegs. Which we don’t even know what they are yet. But when we have them we’ll say, ha! Remember when we didn’t even KNOW what a Bleg was!!
