If you’re new on the blog, please stop by this thread and say pie — er, hi.
We recommend that newcomers (that’s what “neophytes” means) look over The Rules and The HG2MB (Hitchhiker’s Guide to MuseBlog).
Next, if you’re so minded, stop by Who’s Here (see the menu at the top of your screen) and announce your arrival in a comment there, so we’ll be sure to add you to the official list.
MuseBlog Veterans: Please use this thread only to welcome newcomers as they arrive and answer questions that they ask.
Hello all muse fans. What is the best and most awesome thing to do on MuseBlog?
I need somewhere to start.
Hello Murphinator dune! I the best thing to do is lurk than comment if you have something to say.

Well, we have threads about everything from science and math to virtual pie wars. Some of the ones that are most active:
Random Thread – Pretty much anything, as long as it isn’t a Pointless Post.
Rants and Plaints – Short for “complaints”. For unloading your problems and comforting other people.
MB Games Thread – For forum games such as “corrupt the last poster’s wish”, “give the last poster a useless superpower”, “virtually steal the hill from the last poster”, etc.
Romance and Relationships – Who you like, who likes you, who the person you like likes, who might like you but you’re not sure but you heard from Bob that he was going to ask you to the dance, but Bob also suspects that your math teacher is a Dalek so you’re not sure he’s a reliable source, etc.
Anything with “RPG” in the title: Role Playing Games where you create a character and write what they do. Lots of fun but a little confusing at times.
Less active threads that need revival:
Books and Reading
Movies
Harry Potter, Again
Stupid Senseless Smiley Stories (Pointless little skits starring smileys. Often end in violence.)
Suggestion Box (For suggesting ideas for new threads.)
Urban Legends
Doctor Who threadGeeky TV ShowsOh, and you’re a neophyte? *pies*

환ì˜í•©ë‹ˆë‹¤!
The best thing?
Me, of course. The Demigod RPG always needs more action.Come to Romantic Musical Comedy!
RMC is still alive?
thanks
I’d recommend getting into a debate with some intellectuals, which this site seems to be rather abundant with (intellectuals that is, not debates). If there isn’t an ongoing debate, there’s also plenty of fluff and forum games to play with/read.
Um. Hi. I’m ZNZ. I found this place through the Cricket Chatterbox. I’ve been lurking for a while now, and it seemed like somewhere I’d fit in.
I’m female and thirteen. I like to read and write, and I am very fond of footnotes, semicolons, sarcasm, chocolate, llamas, dragons, and bad puns. My favourite authors are Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, and J.R.R. Tolkien.
Um. This is awkward. I’m just gonna hit comment now.
Welcome, ZNZ! Are you fond of pies? How about the use of the word “pie” as a verb? I only ask because of a certain tradition we have here for new visitors.
*pies ZNZ with a welcome of the banana cream variety*
Welcome!
You have chosen your authors well.
WHY have people pied this? Do you all see what I’m talking about? Stop this! Knock it off! I don’t deserve any more pies than every other welcomer!
You also mentioned that ZNZ had chosen her authors well. Maybe people who don’t normally pie welcomings agree with that.
I assume that people approve of your remark concerning my literary tastes.
So they’re showing their approval of my approval of your approval of those authors?
I, for one, approve of that idea.
Welcome!
Welcome, ZNZ!!

ZNZ! Hello and welcome!
Welcome to the Kokonspiracy, ZNZ!

Welcome!
[something other than welcome]
Greetings! Hail!
Thank you so much to all the people who welcomed me! I feel very welcomed.
And yes, I love pies, and highly approve of the usage of pie as a verb.
I’m a little late, but welcome, welcome!

You’re welcome! /redundancy/
Welcome, ZNZ!
I’m very late but
