I’m for Aeiuopublicrrawt. Crraw is as close to a Muse of Literature as you get, and it’s a convincing campaign besides.
This is a minorly edited version of my post on the Kokopelli for President thread. What we’re doing on this thread (I’m guessing), is deciding the candidates’ platforms. The candidates’ names are in Bold, with the President listed first, and their Vice listed below them. Kokopelli doesn’t have a vice, just letting you know that wasn’t a mistake.
Since crows were portrayed in an unfavorable light in WD, and Aeiou’s neutral, we’re going with Chuck Norris. I personally like WD, but I’ll still vote Aeipublicrrawt.
Both are pro peace.
They also support putting more emphasis on computer science and poetry in schools. The Aeipublicrrawt ticket is environmentalist- Crraw has pledged to set aside a large portion of the Florida Wetlands as a national park, and Aeiou will diligently search for a solution to the problem of e-waste.

Well, I’m all for Kokopelli, except for the raincoat issue…I vote for UMBRELLAS!!!!!!!!
I’d go for Pwt and Feather, since they fit my positions the most and Feather is my favorite Muse, but Crraw is the only other Muse besides Kokopelli born in the USA, so he’s the only other one that could qualify.
Actually, I like WD a lot, but other than that Aeioupublicrrawt fits me perfectly.
Oh, and this isn’t the Election thread, it’s just a thread for discussing platforms. More ideas are welcome! (for platforms, etc.) Here’s a new one: Books or TV? (we can also take the platform issues from the Polling Place thread)

Platforms? We’re for: pies in the face, freedom of speech, religion (we’re ESPECIALLY for any religion centered on koko…or he is, anyway), an end to all war except the pastry variety, laughter, and hippie skools like the one near here that’s shutting down (haha, i love making fun of the hippie skool). We’re against: banned books, intolerance, nukes (well, unless it’s us), the aristocracy (except to laugh at), and any serious thoughts whatsoever.
2- I love those! Hp is Harry Potter and LS is lemony Snicket. Should we add more platforms or is that enough? Hmmmm……
Update to Aeipublicrrawt platform: Crraw likes LS because of the alliteration, but Aeiou is still neutral. We’re going with LS.

Greetings. I’m very glad to have you all with us today. I’ve come to outline our positions on the hot topics of today.
Harry Potter and A Series of Unfortunate Events are both extremely popular books, but neither of them are great works of literature. Furthermore, there is precious little poetry and almost no mention of computers in either of them. We support neither.
My running mate, having grown up in Mongolia, has had no exposure to pies, and therefore it falls to me to make this momentous decision. Apple pie is a well-recognized symbol of America, my home country and one that I hope soon to govern and protect. Its flavor of apple cinnamon is more complex and sophisticated than the straight sweetness of cherry, just as we are more sophisticated than our opponents. Plus, the slits in the crust cause air resistance and make it harder for Koko to throw at us. We support apple pie.
Watership Down is considered by many to be great literature, but its racist portrayal of crows as mindless, violent brutes leaves us with no option but to support Chuck Norris.
Warfare in all its forms, even pie warfare, is a detriment to prosperity and happiness. We support peace.
My learned running mate tells me that we support the Mac, for lots of technical reasons that I won’t bore you with, especially as I’m neutral on the subject.
The umbrella, besides covering a wider area and allowing a friend to share in the protection from rain, is more convenient to carry around should the weather change. Also, it offers more protection from wayward pies, and can be used to retaliate against piethrowers in an emergency by folding it up and skewering their arsenal. We support the Umbrella.
Books allow a person to think. TV does not. Simple as that. We support books.
HPBs have done nothing to solve the war between cats and dogs, and they have instead started a war of their own. However, a learned researcher recently put forward a theory that there are two species of bunny, Nicegoodus (the cute ones whom you love) and Evilus (the ones that instigate war and took over the blog on 4/1.) We subscribe to this school of thought, and are for the support of Nicegoodus and abolishment of Evilus.

Pwt, my running mate, is neutral on the subject, since cherries and apples do not grow in Egypt. I like both equally, since both cherries and apples come from plants. But I really like doughnuts more than pies. So don’t expect us to answer this question anytime soon.
Watership Dawn or Chuck Norris?
Again, I’m too busy with my garden and Pwt is too focused on catching Crraw for us to worry about these things.
Pies or Peace?
Being pied is quite a dreadful experience. I always hate the sticky feeling and the bath afterwards. Definently peace.

I once met Mac when I was in the mall, looking for doughnuts, and he made fun of me for my appearence. I have never met PC, but I will support him because I do not want to support Mac.
Umbrella or Raincoat?
The umbrella can save more people from wetness than a single raincoat can, and it also provides protection from Smart Pies. The Umbrella.
Pro- or Anti-HPB?
Bunnies are always getting into my garden and eating my vegetables, so I am strongly anti-bunny. I don’t care about the hot-pink part.
Once all the candidates have made their speeches, can we start voting?

The first thing I would like to say is that this was very hard to get Mimi to vote for anything because she thought it might hurt someone’s feelings. But I eventually got her to vote on about half the things. We are for Harry Potter because in my opinion, Harry Potter is a deeper series, with more math problems, and Mimi is sad for the poor little orphans in LS. We are neutral on pies because neither of us like pies. We would prefer cake. We are for Watership Down because Watership Down is great liuterature and neither of us know what Chuck norris is.we are for peace because pies hurt people and flying pies crowd the skies and I cannot see the stars. 128 ~ Well, out of the two that Urania/Mimi and Aeiou/Crraw are disagreed on, I’d say Lemony Snicket vs. Harry Potter is more important to me than cherry vs. apple, which puts Urania/Mimi ahead, and although I’m neutral on the dictionary issue since I use AH, I still slightly prefer MW to OED, so I’m currently backing Urania+Mimi!

I missed a few weeks and am a bit confused. (Yes, this happens a lot). Maybe we should make a list of all the general issues, so people can decide what they think about each of them. Then I (or someone else, if they want to) can go back through the thread and find which candidates think what about the issues, and make another graph. That might clear some of this up for me, and perhaps others. Does that sound okay?
I’m for Urania. She has enough intellect to overshadow any misguided, pie-throwing souls.
Then again, Koko is awesomer (yes, I said awesomer) than anybody. Also, I’m pro-pie but anti-pie war, so that kinda leaves me conflicted.
I’m stuck and I have no idea who to vote for! I want to vote for everybody! Wait… Thats probably not possible! Does Pwt have any relotives? And is his/hers name pronounced P-W-T or Pwit? (Sorry thats random but I want to know! its the question in my head right next to “is ice cream a solid or a liguid?”) Anyway, I cant vote becuase all the muses are very coolness (yes: coolness).
