heh. cool pictures. now I know what grant looks like. I always pictured him with red hair.
(1) Ah, the magic of Photoshop and a little tonal adjusting. Also, very, very subtle sharpening of your image in the second and third photos while leaving the backgrounds alone. Couldn’t resist. I’m a madwoman when it comes to graphics software. Hoped you wouldn’t mind.

No, not at all! I always thought that photo was too dark!
In the 2nd photograph, I’m standing atop a thirty-foot pole, about to jump off and grab a hanging trapeze bar. I made it. In the third, I’m watching someone else do the same. In the first, I’m at the WWII memorial during our Washington at Night tour.
The conference was one of the most fun things I’ve done in my life. I attended lectures, did simulations like a mock U.N. security council, and visited various locations, such as the U.S. State Dept. and the Turkish Embassy, where it smelled powerfully of cinnamon and had very nice hardwood floors. I suppose I’ll send more.
That sketch of Urania is exquisite! I think it rather flatters her.

Yes, I am the one wearing the Trix shirt. People tend to love that shirt. In that one photo I’m drinking ginger ale with lime juice out of the side of my mouth because A. I’m thirsty (the name of that photo on my computer is thirstygrrr.jpg) and B. I’m trying to pay attention to the game of Blackjack in which I am partaking. Then in that other photo I’m the one leaning across the table with a cynical look on my face and glasses because I ran out of disposable contacts while I was there. In the one with the Washington monument I’m the one on the right. In the one below that I’m standing in the back. That one was my T.A. group. No idea what that stands for.

64- Offense taken in copious amounts. Which photo were you looking at? There isn’t ever any good scale to how tall I am, and trust me, I don’t photograph half as well as I would like.

I think the one where I’m leaning across the table with the cynical look on my face. However, it’s difficult to tell, as my face is capable of many different appearances from different angles and in different moods. But I think it would be that one, as it’s one of the only ones where I’m not hot and bothered or have done disheveling things. In the one with the Washington monument I forgot to tilt my head forward as I usually do in photos, because I’m having such a great time and it’s not that important.

I hate having my picture taken. Yuck, yuck yuck! Sorry. But I really don’t like having cameras stuck in my face. I always look like a total idiot. Maybe I am, but I just don’t like looking like one… My parents don’t have any pictures of me when I was little because I was such a brat about having my picture taken. That tells you something there.

i just wanted to say that urania is so awesome that when my english teacher informed me that i had to research s greek god/goddess and said we may do other charcters mentioned in greek mythology i jumped at the chance and found out that poor urania had a sister who is rather like koko sometimes-a muse of flute playing.
