Ever since I read The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles, by Julie Andrews Edwards (yes, *the* Julie Andrews Edwards), I’ve always loved papillionacious. Also, chrysanthemum and brush.
…And that’s a rather excellent children’s book, by the way.
Needless to say, I adore most words. The absolute froodiest words ever are echolalia and zwieback, since the moments when I discovered i’d spelled those both right were the two happiest moments of my life….
There are exactly 12 words which I dislike, those being the words that i have misspelled in competition. They are, in chronological order:
acquaint
contagious
shoal
coral
pedestal
regatta
pridian
satire
catenate
gluttony (I misspelled that one on purpose, though)
vertiginous
and, of course…
GARDEZ!
Since misspelling gardez,I have also developed an extreme dislike for any words from French, or any relating to chess. i would probably hate any words with Zs as well, except that my love for zwieback contradicts that.
The two words that i have extremely mixed feelings on are regalia and zugzwang. The first part of regalia looks like regatta, one of my least favorite words, yet the second part looks like echolalia. Zugzwang, a word which I always loved prior to the national bee, is now rather confusing because it is a chess term, like gardez, yet it is from German and begins with Z and has a zw, like zwieback.
I’ll post a list of more of my favorite words later. I have a lot of them
Yes, it most deffinatly is a type of coffie cup holder. I think they were used by Arabian kings or someone like that and my mom says that they are very fancy and butiful.
10 – It still isn’t in Webster’s 3rd (or Webster’s Collegiate for that matter).
My favorite word is sesquipedalian. It means a long word. I also like words from Welsh. One cool one that I found recently is hwyl (pronounced hoo-ill), which means excitement. Another cool word I found was purpure, which means purple. And I hate the word carnassial…
Did you know that there are some words that are in Webster’s Collegiate that aren’t in the Unabridged? For example, oy is an all-purpose interjection from Yiddish, and it appears in Webster’s Collegiate. There is an entry for oy in the unabridged, but it says “Scotland: grandchild”.
6 (emma) – Don’t feel bad about gardez…I think it was MuseCast #5 where THF and I asked a bunch of people how to spell it and none of them could. Well, actually, my 7-year-old-brother did, but that’s only because he heard us talking about it before.
13 (speller) – I love the word sesquipedalian! It’s one of my favorite words
4- Oh! that was one of the books I recently lent to the girl I babysit. I’ve started lending her books. It makes me happy that she enjoys reading what I lend her. ^_^
I like the names:
Katherine (especially with the nickname Kate)
Chester
Vincent
Miriam
Melanie
Whatabout methylchloroisothiazolinone? If you are lost, look at the ingredients in your shampoo. Antidisestablishmentarianism? Normalcy? Assumption? Diabetes? Pseudonym? Schnauzer? Or (my fave) Equestrian!
15-OMG are you serious? *pulls out both of her beloved dictonaries* You’re right. But i think it’s just ge difference, the Collegiate is copyright 2005 (I just checked that) and Webster’s 3rd is 2002. So i’m sure it will be added into webster’s Fourth whenever that comes out…
I don’t have a good dictionary at this house. It makes me sad.
Isn’t it sort of weird how names have mutated over time, and how many have been invented. I mean, ever heard of a Victorian girl named Kaylee? Or Kaylie, or Kaley, or however you spell it?
I’m fairly confident about spelling normal words, but names are another matter altogether. There’s a girl in my acting class named Jenavieve. Spelled like that. And then there’s Erik-with-a-K, as I call him, not to distinguish his from any other Eric, but just because it’s funny. And on the field trip to TIoBE, there were two Haleys, both of them spelling it differently.
I could spell my own name several different ways too. Allice, Alys, Alis, Allis, Allys, Aliss… The list goes on. But they’re all pronounced the same way.
who doesn’t love the name Kathlee? I for one, adore irish names. they’re realy pretty…. Diarmid, Kieran, Sibhan, Fionn MacCool…..and so many more *sighs dreamily*
I love the names Celeste and Callista. My favorite word is and vocabulary word from my English class. Every time one of the Honors English students hears a vocabulary word they giggle. It’s quite interesting to watch in serious conversations.
My favorite word is MethionylglutaminylarginytyrosylglutamylserylleucylphenylalanylalanylglutaminylleucyllysylglutamylarginyllysylglutamylglycylalanylphenylalanyvalylprolylphenylalanylvalythreonylleucylglycylaspartylprolyglycylisoleucylglutamylglutaminlserylleucyllysylisoleucylaspartylthreonylleucylisoleucylglutamylalanylglycylalanylaspartylalanylleucylglutamylleucylglycylglycylisoleulcylprolylphenylalanylserylaspartylprolylleucelalanylaspartyglycylprolythreonylisoleucylglutamiylasparaginylalanylthreonylleucylarginylalanylphenylalanylalanylglycylvalyltheonylprolylalanylglutaminylcysteinylphenylalanygllutamylmethionylleucyalanylleucylisoleucylarginylglutaminyllysylhistidylprolylthreonylisoleucylpriIylisoleucylglycylleucylleucylmethionyltyrosylalanylasparaganylleucylvalyphenylalanylasparaginyllysylgyycylisoleucylaspartylglutamylphenylalanyltyrosylalanylgutaminyllcysteinylglutamyllysylvalylglycylavlylaspartylserylvalylleucylvalylalanylaspartylvalyprolylvalylglutaminylglutamyllserylalanyprolyphenylalanylarginylglutaminylalanylalanylleucylarginylhistidylasparaginylvaylalanylprolylisoleucylphenylalanylisoleucylcysteinylprolylprolylaspartylalanylaspartylaspartylaspartylleucylleucylarginyglutaminylisoleucylalanyylseryltyrosylglycylarginylglycyltyrosylthreonyltyrosylleucylleucylserylarginylalanylglycylvalythreonylglycylalanylglutamylasparaginylarginylanylalanylleucylprolylleucylaspaaginylhistidylleucylvaylalanyllysylleucyllysylglutamyltyrosylasaraginylglycylphenylalanylglycylisoleucylalanylprolylaspartylglutaminylvalyllysylalanylalanylisoleucylaspartylalanylalanyglycylalanylalanyglycylalanylisoleucylserylglycyserylalanylisoleucylbalyllsylisoleucylisoleucylglutamyyylglutaminylhistidylasparaginylisoleucylglutamylprolyglutamyllysylmethionylleucylalanylalanylleucyllysylvalylphenylalabylvalylglutaminlylprolylmethionyllysylalanylalanylthreonylarginylserine, and no, I did NOT memorize that!
36-That can’t possibly be a real word.
BTW GAPAs, Noah Webster was born on October 16th, 1758. Can he go on the calendar please please please please please?
phycotic, (self defense, my friend always calls me that)
flamboyant, (it sounds just like what it means)
decreshendo/diminduendo, (they sound soft)
fortisimo, (it’s fun to yell)
swish, (it sounds like water)
gargantuan, (it’s fun)
lani (a Hawiian word, means heaven)
Names I like? I dunno. Kathleen is nice. I also am fond of the names James and William. I don’t much like Tyler, perhaps from my evil cousin having that name….
Whenever we play Zoom-Schwartz-Profigliano I always say profigliano at the slightest opportunity. Otherwise it’s a really boring game. *yawns discreetly*
43- hey! I know that game!!!!!! do you know yee-haw? it’s similar but different because it’s yee-haw to go to the left or right, giddyup to skip a person, gunslinger to go across the circle and soui(pronounced soo-ee) which means everyone one runs screaming to another spot in the circle. the last one ws made up bymy drama teacher.n it’s everyone’s favrite(except me. i like giddyup). but you need to say them with LOADS of energy or else the game dies.
42- as you know i like that name too.

Musicman841, that guy who constantly lurks and scarcely posts says:
Well…
I know why you had no results. I made a few typoes when I was correcting the misalignment from the website I c+p-ed it from.. I wouldn’t just fake it. Don’t you trust me? Anyway, it consists of 267 amino acids, and its abbreviation is C1289H2051N343O375S8, according to an extra page in our dictionary titled, The Longest Word in the English Language. I don’t know the answer, p.bunny. I don’t consider it to be a real word. I’m sorry for all the confusion.
I don’t consider anything to be a word if it’s not in my beloved Webster’s Third…And the longes word in that is, of course, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, which i absolutely adore and can spell all in one breath pretty easily. I talk fast.
Some more favorite words (these are ones I just like, not bcause I spelled them right):
defenstration
humuhumunukunukuapuaa (really fun to type)
sciapodous
agathokakological
pavonine
dolioform
logogriph
gobemouche
schadenfreude
Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head….
And I only have two favourite names, those being Rowan (yes, Glassboro) and Edward. But it can’t be Ed or Eddie. Just Edward. I don’t like many girl names.
48- but there are some seriously awesome girls names out there *coughkathleencough* i’m kidding of course and yeah, edward is only good when not shortened.
(52) It so happens I had two cousins a great aunt and a cousin named Fern: Big Fern and Little Fern, as they were known en famille. The younger was quite a bit older than my dad, so yes, the name predates the book.
I don’t know. I’ve only met one other person with my name.
I was named it after my parents heard of someone’s neice with that name. So they decided to name me that. About time, too, I went four days with no name! I also might have ended up as Iris, but my dad was going for Beatrice. I’m glad it wasn’t Beatrice, yuck!
I found some more words I like:
pfeffernuse,
pettifogging,
pfft (yes, it’s in the dictionary!),
umlaut,
ostrich,
prowess,
prudery and pruderies,
comerandrie,
vile,
fie,
laud,
Mississippi,
persimmons,
valiant.
62- We’re breaking paradigms was the unofficial slogan (well, something along the lines of breaking paradigms anyways) of the writing class I took this summer!
76 – I may be remembering this incorrectly, but I thought that you were the on who noticed that platypi sounded like pie.
72 – The word paradigm has caused me great pain and suffering, as we had to read the 7 Habits of Highly-Effective Teens in school. Someone should dilute Sean Covey’s paradigms.
80 – No. I’ve never misspelled paradigm. These are the words I hate due to misspelling:
carnassial (This is pure evil.)
subtle
dependent (though I actually gave an alternate spelling)
81-dependent has an alternate spelling? *looks up* I don’t see that….how long ago did you misspell subtle and dependent? And why is your list so much shorter than mine? It’s not faaaaaaiiiiiirrrrrr!
83 – Dependent was 5th grade. Subtle was 6th grade. I did not win either of those bees. I only included words missed in competition, and I may have another year’s worth of spelling ahead of me. The alternate spelling of dependent (dependant) is only for the second definition, but they didn’t give me any definition. You see, my school bees are very badly organized.
84-I think that may be a defining characteristic of school spelling bees.
You’re only in 7th grade? I didn’t know that….I’ll be unofficially rooting for you this year then!
i like Carpal tunnel, personaly. ithink I might have something wrong with my carpal tunnel because when ever i type or draw for a long time it aches in my right arm.

MissSwann2223 has decided not to change her name says:
laughlaughlaugh i made up a word w. my friend seffy
torange- deep disgust or hatred
blurple- a long string of IM abbreviations
ilver- a vision of ill-concieved fate, usually seen by a medevil sword weilder
86-OMG are you serious? That’s awful! they can’t do that! I would kill my spnsor if they had done that to me….and doesn’t having their representative from this year (or last year or whatever you want to call it) make the semifinals and still having another year matter? i can’t believe that….can you write a letter to them or something begging them to do it? or something? They can NOT do that! That’s cruel! Maybe I’ll write to them…though I doubt they would care what someone who lives in a completely different partof the country thinks….but……GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
90 – I’ve contacted them in several ways, and they still decided not to do the bee. It’s because they used to get more people buying the paper when they put in the Spell It! Now the Spell It! is on-line, and they can’t print the Spell It! in the paper. You see, the bee is really a business decision. There was a paper who was going to do the suburbs, but then Scripps said that they also had to do the city where they have no circulation whatsoever, so they decided not to sponsor the bee.
92-Ugh. But don’t they also get some publicity just for having a kid in the bee who made the semifinals? And especially returning finalist who could do better this year….
98-Oh, good point. Yeah, the paper that does mine is a smaller one that very few people i know read…that’s sad. There’s GOT to be a way you can go though! I wonder how much you would need to bribe them into doing it? I guess it would be quite a lot….you could move to somewhere that does do it for a couple months….
103 – It is only used in the context of a long word nowadays, so its not in Webster’s.
More words I like:
cwm (of course)
crwth
syzygy
Bewusstseinslage
pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (of course)
milquetoast
dodecarchy
105-Ooh yeah! Those are all the words I forgot! Bewusstseinslage is one of the froodiest words ever. Especially since i got it right. I wouldn’t have expected to get #25 right….but there weren’t really any other plausible choices….
I’ve never heard of the last two though. Milquetoast looks cool. If it’s not French….*looks up* oh, wow. It’s not French. It’s after a comic strip character. Froodiful!

111, 112- What’s The Grey King? I learned cwm at bee week. I was very shocked that I hadn’t seen it before.
Oh! i just remembered another super-froody word from bee week! Bhutatathata! It’s vry fun, both to say and to spell. B-H-U-T-A-T-A-T-H-A-T-A! Is that not one of the froodiest words ever?
Learning new words was one of the best parts of bee week. Or stocializing in general. I loved stocializing. Now there’s a nice portmanteau that’s not in webster’s third….
Portmanteau words are cool. I used to think that the term portmanteau was cool. But alas, its French, so I now hate it.
There are some nice French words though. I used to love gobemouche.
Oh! another cool non-french word! Eleemosynary! I love that word. That lovely double-e which youd never know is there because it doesn’t sound anything like a double-e is supposed to….
lol, this is a very meandering post. More like a train of thought, really. Actually, that’s exactly what it is….
115 – I like bhutatathata and eleemosynary too! My humanities teacher was a bit shocked when I put bhutatathata on my personal vocabulary list. I generally like French words, but sometimes they have silent letters or double letters that seem like they should be single. The Grey King is the 4th book in The Dark is Rising series by Susan Cooper. It takes place in Wales, and at one point they explain how to pronounce Welsh.
The koolest name I’ve ever heard is the chairman of the Window Rock Sioux tribe. He was in Sports illustrated and his name is Ronny His Horse is Thunder. That name is pimp.
Bibulobibuli. Chatoyant. Frisson. Ce sont les meilleurs mots du monde.
And snollygoster. I got all these words from a certain website that was in the Muse issue that had the contest where people sent in their favorite websites. Many thanks! I love this site! Especially the “I Think” section.
128-Nope! Gosh, I didn’t think it would be this hard. I think y’all need another clue.
{My Name} VIII Palaiologos or Palaeologus (Greek: Μιχαήλ Η΄ Παλαιολόγος, {My Name} VIII Palaiologos) (1223 – December 11, 1282) reigned as Byzantine emperor 1259–1282.

I speak Welsh, a teeny bit, though I orignally learned the pronunciation from The Grey King also. Those books are great and it’s a shame what they did to The Dark is Rising in the movie. My favorite was always The Dark is Rising, too.

Sorry for double post, Dad needed computer.
In addition to 136, my dream headline is “David L. Cunningham* Chased Across Half of Europe by Wild Hunt.”

135 – I love those books, though my favorite is Greenwitch. I can’t believe what they did in the movie! Apparently, they were afraid that it would seem too much like Harry Potter. In my opinion, that shouldn’t be a problem because people love Harry Potter and The Dark is Rising came about 30 years earlier. Susan Cooper herself said that there was a great movie waiting to come made of The Dark is Rising and that that wasn’t it.
132- dude! i got michael too! but that was just now as i literaly just googled it before i read PC’s coment. wow. michael. that suits you ya know.
anyone wanna guess my name? actualy most people probably know my first name anyway but i’ll throw in my middle name as an added bonus. First Name:is an unincorporated area in Houston County in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is part of the Warner Robins, Georgia Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is the site of a Frito-Lay factory. Middle Name: The Virgin Mary’s Mother last Name:just kidding!
I love the name Kathleen. It’s so awesome. I’m going to use it in my NaNo. I knew a girl named Kathleen, but she was kinda weird. She was in my gym class in sixth grade.
159~ Ah, I think it starts with a……J. That’s all I’m going to guess.
People, want to guess my middle name? I think I’ve said what it is before, but if you don’t know it and want to give it a go, feel free. It starts with an A, and it’s not a usual name. It’s Hebrew.
Brynach and Briavael are awesome names. They’re from Lloyd Alexander’s The High King, and yes, they’re Welsh.
If you want, you can guess my name. Here’s a hint: About 100 years ago, this name was so common that you could not walk across the street without running into someone with this name, but today it is not very common.
It’s really sad how I just disappeared from this thread. I loved this thread. *blows life into it*
The other day at an improv meeting, E was sitting there with the dictionary in his hand, and he says, “What is that word that means specifically to throw something through a window…?” and I said, right away, “defenestrate!”

7- I believe you. Isn’t it a type of Arabian cup holder or something like that?
It is!
Yes, it most deffinatly is a type of coffie cup holder. I think they were used by Arabian kings or someone like that and my mom says that they are very fancy and butiful.
QFtF,
Speaking of words and names, did you know that in French, François is a man’s name? The feminine equivalent is Françoise.
I know my friends bug me about that all the time (friends you know who you are). I just think that Francois is cooler.

I like the name Gail.
I like the names Kathleen, Kag/KAG/Kagy/Kagcomix/Kag comics(less so the last one), uh…. agagabagabag is prety cool too.
my favrite word is awesomenst. it implies I am the most awesome. ex.: the awesomenest KAG.

My most favorite words right now (they keep changing) are Funky, Seriously, Splendid, Happylicious.

Irish names = ♥
Like Brigid. I like that one.

BAGELS!
36 – May I inquire how many atoms are in that particular compound and what the approximate molecular weight is?
36-That can’t possibly be a real word.
BTW GAPAs, Noah Webster was born on October 16th, 1758. Can he go on the calendar please please please please please?
(38) Your wish is granted. Take a look.
36- l googled that, no results.
Hey! You just typed anamy-words in a random order!
hmm, favorite words….
phycotic, (self defense, my friend always calls me that)
flamboyant, (it sounds just like what it means)
decreshendo/diminduendo, (they sound soft)
fortisimo, (it’s fun to yell)
swish, (it sounds like water)
gargantuan, (it’s fun)
lani (a Hawiian word, means heaven)
Names I like? I dunno. Kathleen is nice. I also am fond of the names James and William. I don’t much like Tyler, perhaps from my evil cousin having that name….
Whenever we play Zoom-Schwartz-Profigliano I always say profigliano at the slightest opportunity. Otherwise it’s a really boring game. *yawns discreetly*
38 – I think that it is a word for a chemical compound that nobody actually uses. It is not in Webster’s 3rd.
Well…
I know why you had no results.
39-Yay! Thank you!
I don’t consider anything to be a word if it’s not in my beloved Webster’s Third…And the longes word in that is, of course, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, which i absolutely adore and can spell all in one breath pretty easily. I talk fast.
Some more favorite words (these are ones I just like, not bcause I spelled them right):
defenstration
humuhumunukunukuapuaa (really fun to type)
sciapodous
agathokakological
pavonine

And I only have two favourite names, those being Rowan (yes, Glassboro) and Edward. But it can’t be Ed or Eddie. Just Edward. I don’t like many girl names.
48- but there are some seriously awesome girls names out there *coughkathleencough* i’m kidding of course and yeah, edward is only good when not shortened.
Budleigh Salterton. Looks like a nice place to live, but I’ve never been.
What about the name Fern?
Lovely name. Do you know whether it existed as a name before Charlotte’s Web?
(52) It so happens I had
two cousinsa great aunt and a cousin named Fern: Big Fern and Little Fern, as they were known en famille. The younger was quite a bit older than my dad, so yes, the name predates the book.I don’t know.
53~ That’s neat, I’ll add them to my list of people I know of with my name!
Eve
Whim
Zygote
Frequency
Esque
Que
Fabricator
54-I think Beatrice is quite a nice name. my grnadma is named Beatrice, as is my favorite shakespeare character (from Much Ado).
Defiantly scuba, Barrow, and Eskimo.
Beatrice is an excellent name.
Requirement is an awesoem word.
Mingle
Dilute your paradigms.
That is all I have to say.
58~ She’s my favorite too, but I’m just not the Beatrice type. Sorry to have offended anyone who likes that name….
I like the way massacre sounds, but not the meaning.
I found some more words I like:
pfeffernuse,
pettifogging,
pfft (yes, it’s in the dictionary!),
umlaut,
ostrich,
prowess,
prudery and pruderies,
comerandrie,
vile,
fie,
laud,
Mississippi,
persimmons,
valiant.
I also like the name Petruchio.
62- We’re breaking paradigms was the unofficial slogan (well, something along the lines of breaking paradigms anyways) of the writing class I took this summer!
64-OMG I can’t believe i forgot pfeffernuss! I LOVE that word! You spelled it wrong though…
Gwen, whadduz dilute your paradigms mean?
It means, “water down your standards”, Swannie milady. Not a great meaning, but really quite entertaining to say.
Today, I noticed that platypi is a really cool word. This led me to make up a word: splatypi, which means a pie thrown in someones face.
14 (Queen François) – You will be happy to know that zarf is in the Scrabble dictionary.
OK… how do I water down my standards???
YEAST
PARADIGM
Lemons.
When said: Llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllemons!
Fabricating
Tangible
Zooooomm!!!!
(and of course) Antidisestablishmentarianism
I already said that one!!!
Hey 69 I made up splatipie! My faviorite names are Margaret and Katheren.
8)
pIE IS AWESOME
piepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepie
pie
77-Lol, when you said the word paradigm had caused you great pain and suffering, I was sure you’d misspelled it…..
80 – No. I’ve never misspelled paradigm. These are the words I hate due to misspelling:
carnassial (This is pure evil.)
subtle
dependent (though I actually gave an alternate spelling)
My least favorite words to spell:
opportunity
region
religious
85 – Yes, I am now an 8th grader. However, my local sponsor is not doing the bee this year, so I might not get to compete.
i like Carpal tunnel, personaly. ithink I might have something wrong with my carpal tunnel because when ever i type or draw for a long time it aches in my right arm.
laughlaughlaugh i made up a word w. my friend seffy
torange- deep disgust or hatred
blurple- a long string of IM abbreviations
ilver- a vision of ill-concieved fate, usually seen by a medevil sword weilder
Hey, just for fun, can anyone guess my real name? Hint: Patron Saint of Louis XI of France. No cheating!
Is your name Dennis?
90 – I’ve contacted them in several ways, and they still decided not to do the bee. It’s because they used to get more people buying the paper when they put in the Spell It! Now the Spell It! is on-line, and they can’t print the Spell It! in the paper. You see, the bee is really a business decision. There was a paper who was going to do the suburbs, but then Scripps said that they also had to do the city where they have no circulation whatsoever, so they decided not to sponsor the bee.
91-Not Dennis!
Herm… William? Lewis? Charlemange? [jk]
92-Ugh. But don’t they also get some publicity just for having a kid in the bee who made the semifinals? And especially returning finalist who could do better this year….
94-Nope, nope, and… oh my GOD! Wait a minute, nope.
I made up a few words, and I hope my fellow MUSE lovers will love them!
Fabulosity- a cool word: “Oh, the fabulosity of it all!”
Gee- a word associsted with joy, can replace “yay”, “Yes!”, or “all right!”
Pawnling- a small fluffy creature that is helpless like a pawn in a chess game. Insanely cute.
95 – Most papers do, but the sponsor for my area is a very famous paper that doesn’t need the publicity.
97- I’ve never seen you b4. Newbie! *pies your face*
96- Ummm… Billy?
98-Oh, good point. Yeah, the paper that does mine is a smaller one that very few people i know read…that’s sad. There’s GOT to be a way you can go though! I wonder how much you would need to bribe them into doing it? I guess it would be quite a lot….you could move to somewhere that does do it for a couple months….
beavo is your name Charles?
Onomonopoeia
Indubitably
Thither
Dost
89-Joseph? Carl? (I only know female patron saints) Fredrick? Ben? James? Judah? David? GOD? (lol) Goliath? Peter? Paul? Luke? John? Stephen?
antidisinstablishmentarianism. It’s a real word!
Hey, No new posts???
WHAMPANOAG- It was a Native American tribe in the time of the Pilgrims. Cool word.
103 – It is only used in the context of a long word nowadays, so its not in Webster’s.
More words I like:
cwm (of course)
crwth
syzygy
Bewusstseinslage
pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (of course)
milquetoast
dodecarchy
99 AHA! I found where you pied me! *pies Misswan* I’m not a newbie anymore!!
is “supercalafrgalisticexpialadocius” even a word??
107 – It’s not in Webster’s 3rd.
Homefry, you r tote a noob.
ONOMOTOPEIA!!!!!!!! (pwns)
Froodiful!
Cwm… that’s Welsh, isn’t it? *has read The Grey King by Susan Cooper* *seven times*
111 – Yes, it is Welsh, and I actually learned it from The Grey King. Welsh is very strange but cool.
arachnaphobia *shudder*
U speek latin, sooo…
Albus
Simulo
Nimbus
Periculum
(does little i know latin dance)
I just started latin this year, k?
Welsh is o.k., but it has too many extra letters. Personly I prefer words that are phonetic. Ironicly I’m part Welsh (verry small part mind you.)
I still don’t get it.
A name that would be cool to have is Fabio Denzel-Chemerachovsky
99-Nope….
101-Not me, but Dad’s name is Charles.
102-None of the above.
103-We know that. Or at least most of us.
WORD: Exclusively!
*pwns all*
The koolest name I’ve ever heard is the chairman of the Window Rock Sioux tribe.
121- I give up, unless your name is Bruce. Or Charlemange.
121-Maybe you’re trying to trick us and your name is completely not French. Kevin? Larry?
107- Yes.
I like the word, EPONYMOUS.
The GAPAs are eponymous. We have Muse Academy houses named after us.
one-two-five- Hmmm… a clever ruse… yet..,
Chuck? Homefry? Donald? Harry? Ronald? Freddy? Ali Mukhtab? Gerry? Fiona? Lerry? Meridoc? Jack? Carlos Banditos? Ryan? Joey?
124-Nope.
125-I never said my name was french, I just said that it was the patron saint of Loius XI.
Michael!
Let It Be Known that Prarilius Canix, alter-ego Oob, currently taking a break from the story known as NaNoWriMo, has correctly guessed the name of Beavo the Online Stalker Spy, formerly Beavo the Great. He shall be presented with a years worth of *virtual choklit*. Congradulations, Prarillius Canix!
Contestants MissSwann2223, speller73, and Kagcomix the Special shall be presented with six months worth of *virtual choklit* for taking the time and patience to type in their guesses and click submit. Such effort should be rewarded.
Beavo the Online Stalker Spy, formerly Beavo the Great’s first name is Michael.
Now can you guess my middle name? Just kidding. Please don’t. STOP IT! DON’T!
The clue in 130 was too easy for an experienced Googleer.
And yes, that is supposed to have 2 E’s. Rocketeer, musketeer. Googleer.
(133) Wonder if you can get the Google equivalent of Mouske-ears like the ones from Disneyland ? Maybe with two Gs for ears.
I speak Welsh, a teeny bit, though I orignally learned the pronunciation from The Grey King also. Those books are great and it’s a shame what they did to The Dark is Rising in the movie. My favorite was always The Dark is Rising, too.
135- I only saw half the trailer, then bent over and began retching.
Sorry for double post, Dad needed computer.
In addition to 136, my dream headline is “David L. Cunningham* Chased Across Half of Europe by Wild Hunt.”
*director of the appalling film in question
Middle Name: The Virgin Mary’s Mother
last Name:just kidding!
139-Ya think so? I don’t. My middle name is so horrid you’d never belive it. No, it’s not Clarence.
139-Kathleen. Hooray for Google!

I love the name Kathleen. It’s so awesome. I’m going to use it in my NaNo. I knew a girl named Kathleen, but she was kinda weird. She was in my gym class in sixth grade.
141- yay, we are of the same mind! 9i love my name too) and clarence realy is horrible! did you get my middle name?
Mary?
Yeah, I would never want Clarence as a name. But mine is just as creepy.
143- uhhh… no. why would the virgin mary’s mother be called mary? and whats you’re middle name???? me wants to know!!!!
144-Hahahaha no you don’t. And how am I supposed to know what her mother’s name was? Nobody talks about her.
145- i do so want to know! and people do talk about her! it’s on wikipedia besides… do you know how much i learned about her in france? LOADS!
It’s not in the Bible, but later writings gave the name of Mary’s mother as Anne, which in Hebrew would have been Hannah.
146- You stalk dead people! *runs away* Just kidding, I know you don’t stalk dead people.
Hahaha, stalking dead people. I find that funny, somehow. My friend Hannah is sleepingover today.
148- that’s a funy idea. in a way thats what history is yknow?
huh. that is sorta creepy. no wonder ghosts haunt us. we stalk them
This is getting really of topic. More on topic…
I love Welsh words, such as
cwmry
cynghanedd
eisteddfod
telyn
llyn
i like finnish words. and polish ones.
I bet you people can’t guess my last name:
[Snip! We don’t discuss surnames here. –Robert]
150-No, that would be biographies. Of dead people.
135-Nope, I can’t guess it. It’s snipped. Oh noes.
153- Um, are middle names ok?
155- yeah! i put my middle name!
no one’s been here for a while.
Yes, we need to stop this thread from dying!
If anyone can guess my middle name they’re welcomed to it, but I’m not giving hints and I’m not saying whether you’ve got it or not.
160- it starts with an F. he and alice had a discution about it on the December thread a while back i believe.
Beavo, is it fred? freddrick? francis? francois? frank?
161- francis? josephine? susan? sherry? i really don’t have a clue… how about the first letter?
162 – No. The first letter is R.
There is something intrinsically funny about the word “Alfalfa”.
‘Twas cool.
This thread died some time ago, but… I like the name Rachel a lot.
I’ve never heard anyone use the words “Twas” and “cool” in the same sentence before.
Oh, yeah, guess my first name:
It’s also the name of an American Girl character (much to my horror as I’ve grown up) in 1904.
Middle name:
The same name of the mother on Francis I of France.
[older] People say “Geez ________” or “Cheese ____________”
167- *knows first name already* *also knows last name* *keeps her mouth shut*
Only Alice and IBCF (And Tiki teh Uber Pwnful and Fire_Falcon22, but they don’t count) know my first name.
167- Louise.
Ooo, I know Alice’s first name!
169- Were is Fire_Falcon22?
