Purple Panda and Taiwan Hippo Fan call their seventh MuseCast “Automatic Essay Grader.” It includes guest appearances by Margaret, Glassboro, and Midnight Fiddler.
All the earlier MuseCasts are still available on the blog:
MuseCast 1
MuseCast 2
MuseCast 3
MuseCast 4
MuseCast 5
MuseCast 6
Hehehe. I liked the Automatic Essay Grader. That would make school sooo much easier.
Now I can send some stuff (after I record it) to the GAPAs, because 7 was my unlucky number. What??? I’m supersticious!
The scantrons always smell REALLY bad at my school. The ink they use? Ugh.
Bubble sheets are SO ANNOYING I JUST WANT TO RIP THEM UP!
I liked it! Great job!
Very nice.
In the next one you have to talk about NaNo. And I am going to find a way to get on… (And so begins the perrenial (sp?) dilemma…)
Perennial.
I haven’t listened to it yet, but I will as soon as I get the chance.
I can talk about whatever if you want. Marching band(
), or NaNo next month… you know
3- Perennial.
Still listening.
Nice! Not many topics, but covered in-depth.
I will try to send something in soon, I will!
I have to get both parents out of the living room so I can record it!
Oooh, this thread was put up on the seventh!
Scantron cards=not fun. I get so scared that I’m filling in the wrong answer, or I’ve filled in outside the bubble that it takes me forever to complete the test…
Yay, musecast!
Almost turned into just small talk? Ha. Fun, though!
What terrible sound quality my mic has.
Lovely music and the piece about the Automatic Essay Grader was inspired and inspirational!
Well that was amazing. And it made fun of Scantron cards, which somebody needed to.
Is it just me, or do you guys kind of have high voices?
Can I say something about pies in Anartica?
If you say anything about Antarctica you must include me.
Hey, Margaret, I know, I live in New York too and it’s awful, this hot weather is killing me! I hate being hot. I’ve been picking apples for the past few days, we have 2 trees.
Yes! We were going to talk about Antarctican pies sometime. Send something in!
I’m not sure about high voices…it does sound like it on the MuseCast, though. Ask people who came to the Kokonvention, they’ll probably be able to tell you.
9-Go back to Musecast…5? I think so. My voice generated ten zillion posts…
Cool! I likes.
This was the first MuseCast I listened too. It was great. I agree that the Terra Novas are evil.
I just went apple picking today (I live in NY). But it’s kind of been rainy where I live…
Hmm, it was a slight shock to see my name on the “guest appearences”. I’m assuming it’s more of my playing at the Kokonvention? Eep, I hope it’s okay…. Again, I’m attemting to figure out how this infernal computer thinks.
good… I’m getting something soon…. I hope…
i liked it but i wish there was more cheese to it. anyways…. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK- me loves musecasts.
This was really cool!
I might send in some violin-ing… once I have something good, and have recorded it. That could take a while…
21~ What kind of music do you play?
I have an ideeeeeeeeeeeeea……………….. It’s very simple, actually. Amazing it took this long to come to that conclusion.
IT WORKED! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! *is hyper* We had a most agreeable conversation, too, not all of which will go into the MuseCast, due to rather careless place-name-dropping and many awkward silences/totally pointless tangents. You might say “it almost turned into just small talk”, except that it was small talk from the first.
*is very excited*
Yes! It worked!
*is flamablamablously excited as well*
We *gaspshockgasp* talked on the telephone! I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say that. Zap if you’d like, GAPAs. It took us a long time to think of that, surprisingly, in this age of virtual communication.
I think THF and I might dedicate a MuseCast to pets and their names. That was a fun conversation
YAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got to listen to it!
It’s nice, I like the Essay grader disscussion. It’s true though, teachers have to teach to the test, and test the test, and it’s just ridiculous.
Anyway, very good!
25- I can’t wait to listen to the next one! *hopes to get a laptop soon* *a laptop with a wireless card, no less*
Midnight Fiddler – Thanks! THF and I rambled on about the Essay Grader for almost 1/2 an hour. We had to cut it down a lot…
Alice – Maybe your laptop will have a good microphone!
24-That is scary. That is my lucky number and you posted it the night before the *GASP* okay, I’m really not into the whole number/meaning something bit, but I would hate for me to be responsible!
I will try to get something together soon, so if the Musecast needs more stuff just hold on! I may actually be able to record something tomorrow. And I will try to sound better…
Red-tailed HAWK

29- Don’t worry, you’re certainly not responsible.
28- It’s a secret hope of mine that the new laptop will have a good mic.
yesterday i realized that the song that you guys used to use (the all the things you can think) cames from suesical! I love it! please use it again!
31 (Kagcomix) – We probably won’t, because I absolutely hate it…but you can listen to the previous ones as much as you want!
Only 1-3 are on iTunes!

Could you upload them again or is there a reason that you can’t?
We were using a trial subscription of Apple to put them on iTunes. All we need is a link to an RSS feed to submit to iTunes and they’ll automatically update. Apparently MuseBlog can do RSS feeds now, but I’m not sure.
NOpe! Even this thread hasn’t seen posts in close to two months.
I will try to make something for Musecast over the holidays, so if you are looking for content hold on and I’ll send some!
GAPAs-do you want me to send my part to you like last time?
Red-tailed HAWK

Peoples, I need MuseCast ideas! I seriously have no idea what I’m gonna do.
You could do what regular journalists do when they run out of ideas: make a list, and write about it. For example, you could devote your MuseCast to “MuseBlog’s Ten Greatest Hits of 2007.” A hit could be a thread, a post, or an important development. Or, in honor of the Muses, you could make it the Top 9 instead of the Top 10. Or make several lists: funniest moments, weirdest moments, biggest turning points, 9 Ways to Spot a Muser, 9 Greatest Threads of All Time, 9 Greatest Muse Issues of All Time — the possibilities are endless. You could call it “Doing the Nines” — as in, “And now, it’s time for MuseCast to do the nines!”
