Aw, that was amazing, you guys! This is definitely the best yet. There was a wide range of topics covered, and I think they each had a good amount of time devoted to them. If you know what I mean? It was laid back but it had a steady pace. Once a topic was done, you moved to the next one to cut rambling. And HAWK, great contribution, it was very articulate, and you did sound older!
Who did you ask to spell, when it sounded like you were in a crowded room? That whole section was funny, and your brother was cute. Also I liked the music at the beginning. Oh, and maybe I missed something, but in which Muse was the letter from Alice about the Kokonspiracy?

My mom says I don’t normally sound so “somber” as she put it, but I think that is because I was reading what I typed up. If I had tried to say it without thinking first, it would not make any sense. But I am rather startled at how much deeper my voice is. It used to sound higher than I thought it was on recordings, but now it sounds waay deeper…*falls out of chair* I suppose it would happen to any of our male MBloggers…
20- Yeah, I give everyone their own voice when reading posts, and that was not how I had his sounding…
Of cource, I read my posts with how I sound in my head and I’m pretty sure I don’t ound like that in real life. Pity.
22- It’s not that I find it hard to imagine your voice, it’s just that you sound really serious and not very expressive, whereas when I read your posts I imagine you sounding much more expressive.
24-When I read things out loud, I must admit I sound like a droid. But in normal conversation, like on the blog, I do sound sort of normal…I was so afraid of sounding stupid messing up on the recording, I became all tense. Odd, yes…I sounded even more droid-like the first time, but that was when both of my parents were in the room and I was nervous or something…

Does anyone have any other suggestions for future MuseCasts, etc.? We’re submitting it to iTunes soon, under a new name (we can’t use MuseCasts anymore, because it’s taken) – does anyone have an idea for a name?

kt-I used Audacity, a free thing you can download, and it worked on my mac. I sent the recording to the GAPAs in an MP3 format or whatever that sort of option was…Recording is relatively simple, and you can record it in peices if you don’t like how you souded in a certain part. They have different ones to download, depending upon your computer. If you have more questions-let me know…
54- Audacity is terrible for windows. I don’t know about for Mac, but I heard about it from someone (a composer) with a mac and I tried it on windows and it wouldn’t import MIDI properly. But the person that had it on Mac loved it.
sort of stemming from 52- Perhaps if people sent in music that they played it could be used for the starting music? Then you’d get different types.
55- I didn’t love it. But my microphone didn’t work until today, when I started out using the one that ought to have worked and it didn’t. So I went back to sing the microphone that was ultra-sensitive and gave me a LOT of feedback (and I mean a LOT), and it worked perfectly fine. Weird…
I used Audacity to record a radio show off the interwebz and it worked fine.
Musecast was v. nice, thanks to everyone who worked on it.

Thanks. How about a MuseCast on Antarctican pies? I noticed the debate on the MuseCast as to whether Antarctica would be of interest for a MuseCast. I think so, even if it were to focus on non-pie topics.
Hey I know: since “MuseCasts” is already taken, why not just use “MuseCast” (no “s”). I think, but I’m not sure, that most podcast titles in the “____cast” form are singular.
52 – You can send part of it in, and we can fade it in and out. If it’s major, we could probably play one through most of the MuseCast, if you want.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE – If you have parental permission, a videocamera, and a videocamera/computer adapter thinger, you can video yourself saying something, send the video to the GAPAs, (I think you can do that), and the GAPAs can send it to us. We will then use only the sound in the video, and voila, you’re in a MuseCast.
62 – I love Antarctica, and eventually, we’ll probably put a bunch of stuff about it on a MuseCast. There are just so many current MuseBlog events, and I think we’ll cover those and then wait until the school year kicks in and there will hopefully be enough space for us to talk about random interesting things.
Hey! Here’s an idea for your pod-cast! You can read aloud snippets of some of kthe RRR’s! Antarctica is a good idea though! We could get different opinions about why Antarctica is important to different Musers.
That sucks… Try right clicking and doing the equivalent of “save link as”. It’s an mp3 file, so that might work.
Or, even better, PP&THF or I could e-mail the mp3 file to the GAPAs, who would then send it to you. Or they could do the whole thing themselves. I don’t know.

my one suggestion would be to fully scrip your podcasts to get rid of awkward pauses and ums, ers and such. otherwise i loved them all. i really liked the theme songs to the first 4.

Kagcomix~ I’ve met a few Canadians, and they all sound similar to Americans, as far as I can tell. Except for my one friend, who has a REALLY strong French accent. I’m not offended, I don’t care, and it doesn’t sound mean.

89 – Yeah, we were submitting them through an Apple Trial, but then our trial ended, so we couldn’t submit them anymore. But we’re working on submitting it again (probably under the name “Intelligent Air,” because everything remotely related to “MuseCast” is taken).
