Welcome ALL newbies!!!!!!!!!!! *rains pies from the sky which seek out newbies and land on them*
Can I become a welcomer?
*demonstrates her awesome pie-throwing skills*
techinically, im a newbie myself ( i only got here yesterday) but i feel like a pro so just…. welcome me like a pro! ya….thats it….
Hi newbs! For some good advice on how to survive on the MB, read the HG2MB. It helped me out a ,ot when I was new here. Also, *pies all newbies*
THAT’S a welcoming commitee!
I am so new that i cannot throw pies at anyone because they are still in the oven (steaming fresh!) i guess ill just have to do this: *throws a water balloon* Cold? the pies are hot.
*pies greekgurl the Latin speakin geek freak!* Take that, “pro”!
*Wipes pie off face* *Licks wiping device* Hmmmmm thats pretty good…
Welcome, greekgurl the Latin speakin geek freak!
*pies*
hey, i can’t eat all those pies, i still have my halloween candy hangover, you know *pies Purple Panda* there you go
Me too. All those Milk Duds have put me in a stupor.
3- you are a newbie until you are addicted… heh like me… or have been posting frequintly for several weeks. in my opinion.
*pies newbs*
I wonder where Irregular Bump with Copius Fur is…:?
I suggest you all read my post on Reccomendtions: about the changing of traditions. Can’t you just sing and dance for the newbs? (good way to scare people off!)
I just remembered as I looked at the calendar: El Dia de los Muertos is tomorrow!! (day of the dead for you peeps that don’t speak Spanish) Can we pretty please with a cherry pie on top have a thread about it???
12- I’m sorry if I may not be able to post too much on weekdays. I am a 9th grader in high school and am trying to balance straight A’s. You can try to blog with me on weekends, when school isn’t so demanding. By the way, *pies eragon*
l think that a newbie is someone who’s been blogging for less than 2 weeks. AEIOU’s homeboy, eragon, bump, annoying elephant person, and andrew are still newbs in my book. Elephant forum lover is the only n00b, because he/she is still unacustomed to the blog’s ways.
*pies greekgurl*
I love your name!
11- I am totally addicted right now, and I have been posting frequently for over a month. I think I am not a newbie anymore.
*pies all incoming newbies*
16- Excuse me? If that’s going by your definition, I’m not a newb. Check who’s here. But if you’re thinking of me as a newb compared to all you long-time posters, then fine. I’ve certainly been posting longer than all the people you mentioned.
As far as I’m concerned, it’s an artificial distinction. Many newcomers have lurked here long enough to fit in right away; many others quickly learn the ways of the blog. As for the others, I’m sure veteran MBers can find subtle and effective ways of turning them into effective Kokonspirators without insisting on their special newbie status. Labeling just makes people self-conscious and resentful. After all, we’re ALL Musers here. *pies fail to fly, in tacit acknowledgment of the GAPA’s wisdom*
Back when Lady Cinnamon Moon was still iwanttobeamuffin, she described herself as “a newer part of the blog.” I like that because once you’re here, you are part of the blog. Even with one post, your words are added to the 133,331 comments we’ve accumulated thus far.
My feelings on this subject are especially strong because I’ve spent a lifetime of being new kid in town, in class, on the job, you name it. I know how scary it is to feel like you’re barging in on someone else’s party, not knowing the right moves, the right jokes, the right allusions.
You might be surprised to know how nervous this GAPA was when I first posted on the blog; how many times I resisted the urge to email Robert and say please, please, please delete that comment before they all figure out what an idiot I am.
So I give credit to all those who post here for the first time — by definition, all of us at one time or another. Robert, too. And if the rare NPOTB acts in an irritating manner, well, sometimes people do that when they’re anxious about being accepted. (Or, true, they might just be obnoxious, but fortunately that’s not so likely on MB.)
</homily> <randomness_per_usual>
*everyone scrambles to read Lady B.’s embarrassing early posts*
(21) You mean you didn’t delete them?
I don’t remember, but that won’t stop people from looking for them.
I went back and read the BUNNIES, BUNNIES BUNNIES thread, which was either your first or one of your first appearances on MuseBlog. I think it was your first.
I don’t think any of the posts were delete-worthy at all. You seemed to fit right in! Most everyone does.
Weekends, IBCF. Ahhh thy glorius time whence thou brain can rot on thy video games. (In my case, PS2, NinDS).
GAPA, I can’t find the Goza family thread … :l
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1028
Thank you, Robert Coontz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bye, guys! see you in a while!!!!
20- I can relate to those feelings, Rebecca. Even though I’ve adapted fairly quickly, I still regret those stupid things I first posted in the October Incredible Morphing Chameleon thread. It’s not like anyone really cares at this point, but still…
My first post was part of the Cha Cha Slide. I recieved my first pie *pies SM back*, had Kiki comment on how she loved that song, and a few people continued with the lyrics. I posted again on Wungs. I’m gonna go reminece now.

I think you should do something about Fast Food – about where they get their stuff (slaughterhouses, etc) and the diseases you can get. I’m really interested in stuff like that.
Welcome back, eragon! *pies*
(and so you’re back! from Algasia!)
Ever read Fast Food Nation or Chew On this? Supersize Me? Wicked creepy. My dad ate out at Mcdonalds one time for work and I hid his credit card as punishment. I made him swear on the bible never to eat there agian.
35- *shivers* Yes, I did watch “Supersize Me”, and found it absolutely revolting. I have not eaten there since.
me too, i dont remember my first post, it was months ago and under a name no longer remembered ( i am still a newbie though becuase that was only one post)
15- w00t1 i’m in gr.9 too but me has no high marks/marks above 85… except for mabe math…..
16- andrew isn’t a newb! he’s been here for a month right?
19- quite true (as usual you have extreme wisdom) I’m still suprised i snuk under the radar! well, ’tis my gift! *refrains from pieing the almighty*
20- well, you’re amazing.
hmm… my first post was in february i do believe… on one of the monthly threads. my early posts are very embarassing to me…
38- Well, actually, I lied. I only have a high “B” in my art class, but it’s hard with the other classes anyway.
I have all A’s but im only a lowly eigth grader…. i mite hav a bit lower in Math cause im taking Algebra instead of math-8 and Latin should be an A but i didn’t do so hot on the last test *says the LATIN freak*
I joined during the “post on MuseBlog about the ‘are you prejudiced?’ quiz” contest, and have been here ever since, despite my majorly embarrassing mistake of posting my response to the quiz on the random thread rather than on the contest thread.
41- i remember that! sometimes i go back to the issue that the results were posted in and see if i recognise some of the MBers…
42- only violentfire.

44, 45- Um… What? I didn’t quite catch that.
46- envision they are letters. it helps if you squint.
47- Hmm. I still can’t make anything out of it.
Welcome to all the newcomers. I hope you enjoy it here. See you around the virtual playground that is Museblog.
44, 45- Could somone tell me what that gibberish means? I really want to know.
50- l’d be glad to. lt’s 1337, or leet, and internet gaming language that substitutes symbols for letters.
Somehow I doubt that helps him/her.
In general, we zap leet on sight. But we’ve gone easy on this thread so far.
44: Hey noobs! Do you spea
45: Leet pwnxorz get teh piage in tes face
That’s enough, I’d say.
53/54-I promise I won’t 1337 anymore *under breath* here… [bahahaha]
Pies anyone who wants it!
My first posts are so embarassing… If I even think about them i think how stupid and stuck up everyone must have thought I was… Oh well. Hopefully I’m better now.
55-Oh, do tell!
53-Is there a thread where 1337 is allowed? And if not, can there be one? I’d rather 1337 on a nice webpage than on a disreputable one. You don’t want me to do that, do you?
57- I don’t know of any thread on MuseBlog where 1337 is allowed. Maybe the GAPA’s will make one if you ask nicely, but I doubt it.
No leet and no binary — that’s our rule.
what about latin? necesse est (no really!)
Latin,yay!
I’m listening to the news in the background, and a one ton cow fell off a 20 story cliff directly next to a guy’s car on the road. How interesting.
59-Why, because it’s too hard to edit?
59- 010101010010100101001000111111111111111111000000101010101010100000101010111100101101010100101??
59 – Yeah, why?
No, because the MBers who like them are about 1/20. Everyone else is in their right mind, and hates it. Well, also probably because it’s too hard to edit.
Oh, are we annoying Rob with binary?
[ Snip! Not just Robert. —Rebecca.]
Coded posts impede communication — the opposite of what MuseBlog is all about. They also make moderation take longer — the opposite of what MBers and (especially) Administrators like.
What? No binary either?? *sigh*
Oh, well. There’s always Spanish or Latin.
Eugepae!
Quo modo te habat hodie?
67- What about Coy Woodnesse?
Ah, well, whatever. It really does count as a language, but I don’t think you’d snip it if I started posting in Chineese or something. Or would you. *scary music*
Chineese? One ‘e’ beavo. WHAT”S YOUR @#$%^%$ NAME??????
(67) Why did I know someone would ask that?
Has anyone noticed that limegreenelephant_supporter has mysteriously disappeared? This is what really POs me. People that “have their own style”, get told off (very gently, I might add), and then leave. Are these newcomers so set in their ways that they won’t change a little thing like posting more than once? People, if you’re going to post on the blog, please stick around. If you aren’t willing to go along with the guidelines, then you’re missing out on meeting a lot of great people.
71- I’ve kind of noticed that you are the resident spell-check, MS2223.
71-I’m tired today. No, I’m tired this week. Spelling this week= horrid. *snap thingy*
73-I just hate it when people who are n00bies start telling off all the other n00bies because they think they’re hip with the blog after being on for a week or something. I think I did that, but I’m not sure. I sure hope not.
*gets that stoopid Hannah Montana song “Nobody’s Perfect” in head* *sticks out tounge at MS2223 because he meant to spell stupid like that*
73- Don’t be so harsh on LGE. It does take a bit of a commitment to become a frequent blogger. We actually do have lives outside MuseBlog (no offense). Maybe LGE will be back in a while, hopefully reformed.
75-That’s the point, we were’nt harsh, and they left all depressed because they can’t “tlk lyk ths nd hav a stoopid chtrm bcuz thts wht mzblg iz, duh”
Hey, MB isn’t for everyone. If those people want to be messy typists/shorthanders/whatever, that’s their choice. But they can’t bring it here.
YES, GH22! Someone here actually agrees with me!
73- I’m glad that she left, you have no idea how much she POed me being here. I don’t give a damn that she’s gone, except to party.
(74, 76, 77, 78) This thread is actually called “Welcome, Newcomers,” but recent comments are beginning to take on a hint of “No Trespassing, Keep Out.” Not exactly the tone we were looking for.
Yes, most of us here prefer complete sentences or some reasonable facsimile thereof, inspired silliness rather than dive-bombing pointlessness — but there are more amiable ways of getting the point across.
And could we please dispense with the word “noobs”*? Thank you.
*Unless, in context, it is clearly intended as a term of endearment.
I’m sorry, the point of this thread is why I actually try to stay off of it. I can ignore the newbies most of the time, but at sometimes it’s just too much. I won’t get any worse about them if they stay off the threads that I go to, namely Hot Topics, Music, and R&R. I realize that you can’t make this happen, though. Oh well. Anyway, it’ll probably be a week or two at least before I do this again.
75- I’m not being harsh on LGE. I’m saying what POs me, then giving a (perfect) example. I’m not saying that LGE in particular POs me, and she’s not the only reason I wrote that post.
Also, why are you saying “we”? No offense, but you seemed to me to take LGE’s side from the beginning. Maybe I’m a little prejudiced, but then again, maybe you are too.
I think we should welcome them, but tell them how to behave so they can stay
without dying from wounds from heavy pies from angry people not like mepeacefully. I felt sad when LGE left with tears in her (?) eyes.I like the word noob or n00b, but newbie or newcomer works too…
Red-tailed HAWK

(82) RtH, I wouldn’t object to the word itself, except that in most contexts it is meant derisively.
Still, there are exceptions, so I’ve annotated my original remark.
Well, wait a minute. We want to welcome the newcomers, but that doesn’t mean that we want them to wreak havoc and mayhem. (classic example: would you welcome in a dog that wasn’t housetrained? NOT that I am comparing anyone to anything. Let’s just make that clear.)
It’s hard to imagine anyone’s being THAT much of a threat. People might be a little awkward at first, but I’m sure most of them will settle down without doing serious damage. Remember, they may be new to the Web, or they may have come from parts of the Web where things are wilder and woollier than they are around here. (Cyberspace can be pretty barbaric, you know.)
They’re Musers. Each of them has something valuable to contribute here. Welcome them, guide them gently, be patient, and give them a chance. Thus saith the GAPA.
look, when I was a newbie, I just settled right in. I might have made some coments that were not so easy to read, but I just ran with the flow, and I am now one of the oldest blogger still posting!
56- No way. Go look if you’re that interested. I sounded so stupid, and REALLY stuck up.
87-Which was your first thread?
I did SO not settle in well for a while. I posted a whole bunch on Evolution, and they were all ill-consieved. Not to mention the quadruple posts.
when do you graduate from becoming a n00b to a veteran?
89- post often, post good, and some time, you will be a veteran. or after you have survieed a pie war.
85 – Sorry for sounding like a snob or something. The thing is that I’ve seen other forums get ruined by people who refuse to play nicely.
Don’t apologize for stating your opinion, gh22. It’s what you think, and that’s a valuable thing if said well. (That is, if someone’s in tune enough with the MB that they are accepted by people like me, their opinion is very important. There are some newbies who I just want to die, or at least leave, whose opinions I most certainly do not want to hear.
(91) I think I understand your earlier comments better now, gh22. Nothing is foolproof, of course, but MuseBlog does have the advantage of kindly but slightly stodgy and starchy Administrators who are willing to cough politely, block the doorway as needed, and point discreetly in a more appropriate direction.
(92) Glassboro, what is it about certain newcomers that disturbs you so much? I ask this as a serious question.
To me, it seems most pointless posts are short and easy to skip past and that the majority of the people who make them either leave fairly quickly or adjust to the rhythms of the blog. But that’s me, my personality, and the fact that elsewhere I have to deal with other pointlessness beyond my powers to zap.
It was my second post that was the problem, not my first. My first was just boring. If you must know though, it was a muse discussion thread… March I think. This year.
Wow! its my first time on museblog, so im not 2 familiar with how stuff goz on here! i want 2 know if i can do any fun stuff here, lol!
Kokopelli rules! HPBs rule! i love pie & pi, but pi is >:P !!! Muse is totally awesome!!!!!!
95: Welcome cocopella! *pies*
My word of advice? Look out for pies. *splat*
Welcome cocopella *pies*!
One of the best MuseBlog experiences is Pie War. Go to classic pie war and join Zemtee and the Coconut Cream Guerilla! As the general of the latter, I need more pie soldiers.
68- Eugepae is so cool! its my favorite saying… at attendance we don’t say “here” we say “Eugepae!” (for those of you who don’t know what that means, it menas Hurray! in Latin. If you din’t know that you are Persona non grata (im not telling you wht that means) *pies*
DON’T JOIN ZEMTEE!!!! The Prancing Unicorn Slayers, which includes my division L’Equipe Noir, are horribly outnumbered by the other team! Join the Prancing Unicorn Slayers so we can at least have a fair war!
the team black? cool! srry but i like unicorns…. when can i join L’equipe noir?
You can join L’equipe noir anytime on the Classic Pie War thread.
Benefits:
You get to share the arsenal of atomic pies, and also I will shortly be developing weapons for my division. I might even make L’equipe noir a special forces/elite fighting force. But I’m not going to do that if I’m the only member of the division.
What ever you do, don’t join Prancing unicorns. Join The Coconut cream guerilla on Zemtee! We have all the bases because all the bases are belong to us!
101- Just so you know, I’ll be posting a request to be part of L’equipe noir on the CPW thread.
95- Hello, cocopella! *pies* Some advice: try to say everything you have to say in one post.
ola.
Hi! My friend told me to post. So here I am. Anything in HG2MB I really need to know so I don’t make an idiot out of myself?
107- Hello, Old Man Macdougal! *pies* Try to say everything in one post. We have problems with people that post several times in a row. Only post after someone else has replied.
107- Who’s your friend?
107- Old Man Macdougal, who recommended MuseBlog to you?
110–Hey Old Man Macdougal! Welcome! *pies*
111- Oh, hi, Beavo. Where did you find the HPB culture 2 thread? Me and Prarilius Canix were starting to do research on HPBs there.
My friend? He goes by Andrew on MB.
Hey, Old Man Macdougal. So, your opinion of the blog still what it was?
Just a little background info for everyone:
Re: Old Man Macdougal
I have this one friend who’s skeptical of the awesomeness of MB. I sent him over here, not just because I think he’d be a great addition to the site, but because he’s been frequenting various chatrooms lately, and I felt he needed an intervention.
Everybody, can we introduce ourselves to the Old Man? It’s kind of confusing as a newb since you don’t know who’s here.
107: Hi, Old Man Macdougal! *pies*
Hey, thanks for the hearty welcomes, everyone! I had no idea MB would be this cool. Any awesome threads anyone wants to recommend? (By the way, Andrew, I’m skeptical no more. MuseBlog is a great site!)
116- Nice of you to say so. Awesome threads? Well, most of the blog has been put somewhat on hold for National Novel Writing Month, but I recommend No, This is Pie War 2007, part 3. The action has slowed down due to the fact that we’re currently engaged in negotiations, but that’ll give us time to fill you in on what’s happened. It will also give you a good grounding in the Musiverse so that you can visit other threads like Ships’ Logs and Chronicles of Museica without getting confused.
116- Yes, this is a great site. I reccomend you come here often. A good thread is Classic Pie War. IBCF leads team Zemtee, and I’m with the Prancing Unicorn Slayers. I suggest you join Unicorn Slayers, because Zemtee has so many already, and the war isn’t fair. By the way, glance at HG2MB for smiley info. Wer’re all Musers here. *onlooking crowd boos* Oh how silly of me. I forgot to pie you. *pies Old Man Macdougal with evil spike pie O doom*
116- *pies Old Man Mcdougal* You could help us with our research on hot pink bunnies.
118- Actually, Agabagabaga (or whatever his name is) leads Zemtee.

112-I just typed in “HPB Culture” in the search bar. I remember when that thread got started, and hadn’t seen it in a while.
BEAVO WHAT’S YOUR NAME??????????????????
123-…Beavo?
113- dude! no way! we know andrew!
116- well, the nanovember thread(at the top of the page) is good. because it has cappy’s art work. Cappy is one of the best artists i have ever met so go check it out now. and go to the classic pie war page! and join the prancing unicorn slayers!!!!!
122- also, if you know a threads name check the whats here page!
*wipes pie off face* *licks hand* Mmmmmmm..key lime. My favorite. I’ll have to check out all these threads you guys are talking about. I’ve already posted on the videogames one.
Sorry I’ve been remiss in my welcoming duties.
*pies Old Man Macdougal and cocopella*
126- Key lime? Okay, then.
*pies with key lime pie*
Don’t worry if the blog seems sort of slow. It’s NaNoWriMo, so everyone’s working on their novels. It’ll pick up soon.
…I already feel less compelled to frequent random chatrooms. Now the only time I go there is to dis the admins and I always get kicked then anyway. (Look what MB has done to me. I’ve only been here what, 3 days?)
124- Noooooo your ACTUAL name. You said yourself it wasn’t ACTUALLY Beavo.
129- *orientation pies*
129- Good. It’s fun when you realize that the chatroom you’re in is stupid. Then it’s time to have fun being crazily stupid until you’re kicked. I get a certain feeling of satisfaction from being kicked out of a senseless chatroom.
116- hi my names greekgurl and my problem is….. wait a mnute wrong place. I am a member of L’quipe noir but in case you inerested i only kno of 2 other teams and i shall not tell you their names so you will only think of
L’Equipe Noir!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (by the way, it means nothing in latin but it means he balck team in french and that is too cool!)
Old Man Macdougal, go to the Romance and Relationships thread. You know you need it. I need it too, but there it is.
Also, give Classic Pie War a try. It’s pretty good, and it’ll give you a taste of what a pie war is like.
Welcome to all newbies! Prepare to be hit with multiple pies! Just select a name for yourself and start posting! If you are who i think you are ten join L’Equipe Noir as my gremlin master!!!!!!!!
greetings! i am a newbie and I AM A GREMLIN MASTER WITH A BLACK BELT AND FRIGHTENGLY CREAMY PIE THROWING SKILLS! WAAAAAAAAAAAAA…
135- Welcome to MuseBlog, The Evil One! *pies*
Beware Prancing Unicorn Slayers whom we have just broken off of!!!! Gremlins attack!!
*pies prancing unicorn players*
she meant Slayers, honestly! but players would be an improvement
*slayers* whatever. i’m sorry if my keyboard has a mind of its own
136- u mite wanna watch out….
…or u might wake up in your cave tomorrow with thousands of bobby pins protruding painfully from your body… and PIE ALL OVER YOUR FACE!!!!!!!! and a note from the gremlin master
142- Well, I never! *pies The Evil One and Greekgurl and runs away*
I can not wait for november to be over! I hate it when some one gets a letter into muse. one or two of these people I can stand, but… THIS! this is crazy. we have n00bs pieing n00bs, and the whole thing is about the pie wars! this is not the museblog way!
Sometimes the MuseBlog way involves chaos and
unpreditabilityunpredictability. I think it’s exciting. Things will settle down soon. Meanwhile, relax and enjoy the ride!By the way, as Lady Bunniful mentioned above in comment 79, the Administrators are not overfond of the word “n00bs.”
145- Agreement. I’d never have predicted that a GAPA would misspell unpredictability.
That was certainly unpredictable, wasn’t it? (The Treo’s tiny keyboard strikes again.)
Hullo, I suppose I would be classified as “newbie,” but… well, here is my back story.
Thusly:

I came to museblog one day, -many- years ago to lurk and finally post on one thread, which I believe was something on HBPs, under some crazy name. Unfortunately, I neglected to add it to my links, and forgot about MB temporarily (as impossible as it may seem). I returned a while later, (possibly a year ago) under some other crazy alias and posted maybe… twice(?) but forgot to come back yet again. So now I return, better than ever, with a spiffy new alias, hoping not to forget again about MB which pwns, despite my absentmindedness!! (I have remembered to add it to my links this time). I shall try to stay on for more than a week this time, having re-read the HG2MB and rules for about the fourth time
So there you have it. My extremely unnecessarily drawn-out, somewhat boring back-story. Hope you like it
And an introduction, since I’m bored.

Likes: New sharpies, HBPs , MUSE (why else am I here?), wasting time, lizards, randomnosity, the word etc., etc.

Oh, any would be fine. Just not anything with glue, it takes far too long to wash off.
*pies Raynpho*
Welcome!

157, 158- Ahem. Excuse us?We are on a public blog, right?
Welcome newcomers. I’m Vixen, and when I pop up, I post a lot. But then I disapear. And then I pop up. And then I disapear. And then I pop up…..
Anyway, We are really all very helpful, so if you need anything, just give a shout out to the world.
153- Sorry, but I’m a rhubarb-cherry pie specialist. (Pies with rhubarb-cherry pie*)
(159) > (157, 158) Good point, Vixen. Moreover, private arguments definitely don’t belong on this thread in particular.
On further consideration, I shall unleash the GAPA Zap of Doom upon the posts in question. Threads such as Welcome, Newcomers are designed for focused purposes; randomness belongs elsewhere, and private disputes should stay private.
Got tired of plain ol’ “zapped”, eh, Rebecca? *nudgewink*
one fory eight- what is a doornick?
Beev, your name is michael.
Okay, fine with me. No private discussions on MB, I understand. Sorry.
OK. Sorry. I’m a newbie. I know that’s not an excuse, but I won’t do it again.
Old Man Macdougal, maybe you might want to start posting on other various threads. I suggest NaNovember, it’s a good place to start.
Wow this is a crazy long thread! *ducks pies*
I know, I know, you vets probably don’t remember me anymore…but I appeared in July, started a thread, and disappeared. Somebody up there, I too am balancing A’s in 9th grade. Plus marching band, piano, Girl Scouts, etc. I miss you, MUSEblog!!!!
Yeah. So I dropped in, but I wont be back for ages…
oh yea, *pies for all* XD
86-i’m older than you! hahahaha…oops. now i’m acting like a neewbie. i remember when i was a newbie. that was when there was only about twenty people on MB anyway. it was fun. i think i first posted on Books and Reading. Yep, the first one. and i’ve dept posting ever since. infact, i have posted on all five…or is it six? mostly i hang out on NaNo stuff, music, books and other threads like that. i try to stay away from busy threads because i don’t post very often as i have a busy time trying to stay on the high honor roll at school. its very difficult. (so far, a- and above).
yes, i agree, some newbies can be quite annoying(MissSwann annoyed me by loudly proclaiming that the book Maximum Ride pwned, but i have come to understand that everyone has a different taste. and it was on the book club discussion of JS&MN at that. i forgave her though) i think that my favorite newbies were the ones who came on very early this year. like alice and beavo(/) and all the rest. they have stuck with MB more than i have. very devoted Kokonspiritors.
well, Welcome all newbies, and just remember, Smile! it confuses people! *PIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
(161) Sometimes, PC, plain ol’ zapped just doesn’t have enough zing. Besides, who can resist new technology? And the GAPA Zap of Doom does seem to be especially effective against off-topic posts. I noticed Robert put it to good use as well.
(163, 164) Thanks, guys. You said yourselves you don’t like chat rooms, so I’m sure you appreciate that we try to tidy things up if discussions stray too far off course, on this thread in particular. We also like to keep the Incredible Morphing Chameleon and the birthday threads on more dedicated paths. Go, therefore, and be random. Just not on this thread. *pies*
160- *smiles smugly* I think you’re great too, Rebecca.
Dragon Wings at this point steals keyboard to say, “TEACHER’S PET!!!! TEACHER’S PET ALERT!!!!!!” Vixen hits Dargon Wings with frying pan. ”
Oh, are you new Old Man Macdougal? *Pies!!!!!!*
“Throws a half eaten layer at all newbies, as she has just finished eating just that. *
WHAT IS A DOORNICK????????
onesixty- we all think you’re great, Rebecca.
166- I rember you!
whats going on?
GAPA Zap of Doom eh?… I like it.
Welcome to MuseBlog!!
*pies Chocolate Freak, The Evil One (sorry I forgot about you!) in welcome*
Welcome back!!
*pies Disreputable Dragon*
164- Oh! What a pleasent surprise. l thought you had only posted on the Computer games thread.
166- l remember you! Do they really still have girl scouts at your age?
Ugh, girl scouts.
I take offense to that comment, despite the fact that I was only a girl scout for six months before my troop broke up due to lack of attendance. (Meeting = Me, a friend of mine, and the troop leader’s daughter. Sad, no?)
166- Welcome back. *pies* Yes, you’re one of the new people that I actually approve of; be honored. I hope that you get back soon, and decide to stay.
178- (looks miffed) Sor-ree, just I don’t ‘go’ for the whole sexist ‘girl’ scout and ‘boy’ scout thing. I’ve been trying to get into boyscouts formonths. actually, I might have succeeded, just need a little email from the head…
Anyway, if any of the ‘noobs have romance issues, I’m yer girl.
180- it not sexist! It just is… whould you what to share a tent with a boy?
180- I thought we all agreed not to call them “noobs” anymore.
I like to call them noobs.
181- EEEWWWWW… that’s NOT what I’m after, dude. I just want to be tomboyish me without a herd of girly girls looking at me and being like WTF??? All of my BFFs at school are guys.
Muahaha I am back again sooner than I thought.
173, 175, 176, 179- I’m remembered! Thank you, I feel special…
179- Thank you! I decided to stay when I got on, no doubts there.
176- My age and older, all the way through high school.
Girl Scouts are the opposite of sexist…for the most part. Luckily my troop is half and half tomboys and girly girls, and we all like to go camping anyway. Much fun
184- I know that. that just why there is girl scouts and boy scouts.
169- you do not know how much i apreciate you. it’s not something i can put into words.
184- you remind me of myself in grade 5/6 but much more determined
185- you won’t remember me probably but here’s a wlecome back pie *pies with the ultimate KAG pie*
162, 171-
Pronunciation: \ˈdȯr-nik, ˈdä-nik\

Etymology: probably from Irish dornóg

Hi newbies, don’t let me scare you. I’ve done that before.

Hey yall. I’m a newbie too. Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve been called a newbie. Maybe I don’t try enough new things?
191- *wipes off pie* I’m guessing pie is big here? Apple or Cherry?
*takes a pie off the top of the pile and eats it*
Yummy!
What about you scaring the rest of us?
180- am i still a newb? not really sure… but i still hav problems… is there a thread where we can just complain about ourselves? *dashes to Romance thread to attempt to read the masses of posts to see if anyone has helped*

195- Hmm. Does that make me not a newbie? I’ve only been posting since the end of October.
194- you are officially un-newbed, asof right now, nov. 19, 2007, at exactly 6:59 pm. Welcome into un-newbness land.
*does the happy “un-newbness” dance*

\__HAH DEATH BY SPIKED PIES!!!__/
205~ You’re new? Welcome. *pies*
Please try to avoid such random posts. I know it’s tempting, but, unforutunately, it’s also annoying. And spiked pies are mean.
*pies OMGMPAOF*
Please don’t PoPo. Since you’re a newbie, I’ll let you off with a warning this time, but please remember that courtesy and manners are needed to keep MB sane. Oh, and welcome!
203- *lurks surrpeptitiously with beev and the non-doornick*
205- duuude, nickname pwns.
205- No PoPoing! Please! And we have recently banned aggressive pie throwing on the Blog. If you want to throw your spike pies at someone, throw them at Mr. Joe.
Behold! THANKSGIVING!!!!! Happy thanksgiving, all of you!

*pies OMGMPAOF*

I apologize for the lack of pies. Everyone’s busy writing. I’m about to go do the same thing, but first, I think I have some pies in the oven…
Newcomers: Please be assured that you are indeed welcome and will be greeted in customary MuseBlog fashion as soon as the members of the Welcoming Committee finish, and recover from, their current crash project.
Welcome, Newcomers! I’m not in NaNo, so I’ll have plenty of time to welcome you tonight. Have some pie! *pies*
