It’s Pi Day!
And a blog — a place dedicated to pastry, mirth, and world conquest — obviously wouldn’t disregard one of its favorite days.

Life, the universe, pies, hot-pink bunnies, world domination, and everything
And a blog — a place dedicated to pastry, mirth, and world conquest — obviously wouldn’t disregard one of its favorite days.

Yay! I wrote the first hundred digits or so on my teacher’s whiteboard today. People made fun of me a bit. Happy Pi Day.
It’s my spring break, so I can’t spread the news. Last year, I ate a pie with a pi symbol, but I’m afraid I forgot this year, so I’ll have to wait until Tau day. How should I celebrate…?
Because Pi Day fell on spring break, my school celebrated on the 9th, which annoyed me greatly. There was an entire room full of free pie though, so I can’t complain too much….
(In case you were wondering, I managed to NOT throw any of it, despite being sorely tempted.)
Maybe they should have called it “Pi Anticipation Day.”
We had a party in math class. It was the best thing.
Happy Pi day! *pies all*
Happy Pi Day! Today, I wrote a poem about pi for social studies and handed out pi stickers that I hastily made last night by drawing Sharpie-marker pi symbols on leftover sparkly butterfly stickers from Valentine’s day.
You made pa-pi-llons? Very resourceful.
Has anyone noticed anything odd about Comment Zero?
I’m looking for something odd now, and I still don’t see it. [/annoyance]
Not a clue? I think numbering it should offer one.
I just realized you did it again.
Gotta watch that guy.
I still don’t see it, even now that I know that the word ‘zero’ is a clue and that the word ‘superb’ makes sense. Could I please have a hint (read: an explanation)?
Bibliophile: Write the number of letters in each word, in order. (Zero isn’t a clue. “Comment Zero” just means the message at the top of the thread.)
Oh! That’s really neat!
(I knew what ‘comment zero’ meant, but you said, “I think numbering it should offer one [clue].” I assumed you meant numbering the comment. Apparently, you meant numbering something else. What was ‘it’?
By “numbering it” I meant writing numbers under the words in the sentence. It was hard to be clearer than that, because that sentence (the hint) was written the same way.
By the way, muselover started another sequence, which Cromwell and I continued.
Not all blogs are places dedicated to pastry, mirth, and world conquest? Only ours and possibly some Marxist websites are.
Wait, I got it. Cool.
Nicely done. So well done that I didn’t even notice it at first.
Nice.
Or perhaps I should have said “Superb”
Awesome. Happy Pi Day, everyone! (We didn’t have any pie throwing but we did start a food fight with grapes.)
HAH I see what you did there.
I’ve found several things, and I’m sure all of them are just speculation on my part.
I had to stare blankly at the screen for a while before I saw it. Awesome!
Oh, I see!
Huh. A blog I visit regularly is rarely prime for witty, humorous pi-related puzzles.
Certainly not in the headings.
Holy Urania, my mentor, gave the cue. MuseBlog was my theater.
Very clever!
I can’t think of a word that matches. Phooey. Well that matches! Anyway, excellent job!
Phooey!
Happy Pi Day peoples! there was no pir throwing today sadly. Although features were thrown between Cskia and her friend. Although….. I interrupted and swatted two grapes and ate the next two from the air….
Today, I won a mini-pie and a t-shirt for reciting 100 digits at a pie shop! A friend of mine won a 25-dollar gift certificate to a restaurant for 300 digits.
ALL OF THE PIES
My classmate brought in mini fruit pies for calculus. Mine was cherry and delicious. The teacher talked about ancient math problems and how “Newton and the boys” tried to refine the ancient calculations of pi through the application of calculus. That was interesting, but more importantly, the pie was delicious.
ITS PI DAY
PI DAY
GOTTA EAT PIE ON PI DAYYY
EVERYBODY’S LOOKING FORWARD TO SPRING BREAK
SPRING BREAK
Eatin pie, eatin pie
YEAH
Eatin pie eatin pi

I just want this class to end.
^ This is my last period history class on Friday at 3: 00. Wehad pi day early.
* is too lazy to use neely enforced typing quirks *
Typing on my nook >.<
The one day I don’t have math class at the high school (Wednesday) was Pi Day. At the high school, the hallways of the math wing form a square, and so there’s a island-like thing in the middle where they put up pi and the numbers went all the way around. They also put posters up everywhere.
Unfortunatly, at the middle school, it wasn’t a very big deal.
I got free pie from a store near my house. That sells pies. For Pi Day.
Indeed.
I recited 60 digits on π day.Some 7th grader recited 560.
woa hey! i am new here! just wanted to say “hello” so hello!

It would be great if you’d head on over to the newcomer’s thread so everyone can know you’re here and pie welcome you!
Ohai

I would recommend going to the thread KA (Koko’s Apprentice) mentioned, so we can all pie you. But anyways, welcome!
(By the by, spelling and grammar is appreciated here. As long as you make an effort for it it’s all fine. :))
