Tomorrow we will be taking a hike with my friends and their families. This is the third year we have done this with one of them, second with another, but a new park for both. I will wear my new Muse Academy Hoodie!!!!!!!

My resolutions:
Stop biting my freaking nails
make a friend (bringing my friend counter to a grand total of one!!!!)
do my homework (crap. STILL haven’t done that essay……), don’t eat meat, be nice to as many people as possible, rase money for egypt travel, save money for my masquerade, be nice to cats, and dogs, and get my hope chest packed. (I still haven’t done that!!!!????? Ahhhh well, it’s really only important for the masquerade, choose which set of plates I’ll collect, all that other stuff….)

New Years is really strange…I mean, it’s in the middle of the school year, so it doesn’t really feel like a new year. A new year for me, is the beginning of the school year. Having a new calendar year in the middle of the school year is just…weird. I don’t know, it just seems a bit odd to me.
Did everyone hear that the ball in Times Square is green now? I think that’s cool — it has 9,576 energy-efficient LED bulbs, which apparently takes the same amount of energy as 10 toasters. Pittsburgh has a ball too, which I also think is weird. Instead of dropping, it rises, because Pittsburgh is “rising” or something. It has halogen, LED, and strobe lights.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I went to a party that was for kids around my town, it was for everyone, and was tons of fun. There was a giant screen in the tennis courts and we watched the ball drop adn everyone had noise makers and we screamed and such. !!!!!

I spent New Year’s Eve playing music with my Mom and aunt. Then we came home and rang our big bell and listened to all the gunshots go off on the surrounding feilds and the hoarse yells of our neighbors. You can tell what sort of culture we’ve got out here, no? There were some fireworks over the trees that we got to see, that was nice.
Then we came back inside, the parents took showers and I went back to reading my Muse.
And Happy Three Days into 2008 from England. Sorry I didn’t communicate on the 1st. I’m hibernating.
