As Gingersnap has just pointed out, today, January 23, is National Pie Day.
It’s true! You can read all about it on the website of the National Pie Council at www. piecouncil.org/national.htm . The Council’s list of “Random Acts of Pieness,” however, seems woefully incomplete…
Yay for Pie day!!!
*pies for all*

Wow, that’s cool. We have a French Silk Pie in the freezer.
And apparently there is free pie at Baker’s Square, but only a slice, not a tin. Oh well. Too bad we’re not near any.
Pie will indeed lead to peace on Earth, but first though a sly takeover followed by maybe some snachets of fighting. But then peace, oh yes. Mostly Harmless peace.
Happy Pie day everyone!
In math last year we celebrated Pie Day by having a memorization contest. Whoever memorized the most digits of pi got to pick a whole pie and my math teacher bought it.
2- Indeed, pie will make a Mostly Harmless peace. Or should I say “piece”?
Apparently, these people don’t know that. I mean, “share pie with your family”? “Have charity pie eating contests”? Don’t these people know anything? *pies these people*

Happy pie day, everyone.
Wow! who knew we had an American Pie Council? They seem very concerned with the ingestion of these projectiles , I don’t see anything about air flow diagrams or impact schematics!
I looked it up…they said nothing in the judging standards about areodynamics, splat factors, or ANYTHING! They sure missed the boat.
wow. you americans and your random holidays. *pretends not to hear as someone shouts out “family day! what is that? an excuse to stay home from school??”*
Happy Pie Day!
3.141596… oh wait, not that kind of pi…
they are From The Anti-muses!
Those people know nothing. “Comfort food”! Though pie songs are good. I wonder what they’d think of “Have a Pie.”
They seem to have completely missed the usefulness of the pie. Namely it’s squishiness and ability to make large messes with minimal effort…
Am looking forward to pi day. *memorizes pi*
Pie Day!!!
Wow, I had no idea! I should have been prepared for this! ::plans for next year::
Pies for all! ::pies::
*takes a long enough break from studying to throw pies at all*
i luv pie…………..and pi.
march 14 (3/14) is pi day too. maybe it’s pi(e) day. hm. whatever. it’s all the same, in any case. *pi pies first person to come near* ~[}
Meep! I didn’t know! *cries*
Oh well!
*celebrates* *pies everyone*
“Random Acts of Pieness.” Why didn’t I think of that phrase?
18- as in 22/7
This thread needs more pie. *piepiepiepiepie*

That should do it. *leaves*
I did find something having to do with throwing pie.
“Hold a charity pie-throwing or pie-eating contest or a pie auction.”
UGGGGH. I completely forgot about it!
Now I have to go talk my mom into running out and buying a pie.
Sorry for the double post, but I just called my dad. He said he’ll pick up a pumpkin pie on his way home.
Happy Pie Day, all!
oh, huh. yeah! WOOOO! Ceeeleeebraaaate good times, c’mon! *dances* PIEEEEEEEEE*throws pies in every possible direction*
*pies everyone* W00t! It’s National Pie Day!
I missed it! *pouts*
No worries. Every day is Pie Day around here.
Free orange-flavored streusel, broccoli, and turpentine pies for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually noticed it was pie day on my calender.
I told my firends!!!
My dad brought home a Chocolate Banana Cream pie. It was kind of overloading. It would be better for throwing than eating, to tell the truth.
27- ive noticed this before, but its continuing, so-
is there any rule that gapas don’t have to refer their comments?
(30) NAPOI, no rule one way or the other. But we have the advantage of knowing (usually) when one of our posts will be the next comment. Doesn’t always work, though.
31 – From my personal experience, I don’t really mind one way or an other. I can usually tell who its directed at, and if I can’t, the GAPA will usually clarify.
Happy (Slightly belated) pie day!!!!!!! [}[}[}

Don’t worry…enough pie for everyone!
That looks like the kind of pizza I always order.
35 – Not for me. Mine lks like this:

I always get cheese. 8)
36-*pies* Join the Plain Cheese Club! I’m a honorary member.
37 – Hooray!
I’ll eat Pepperoni too, but Cheese > Pepperoni
33- I’m with you! Happy Belated Pie Day!
However, I thought March 14th was Pie d- ohh. It’s PI day, not PIE day. I’m sorry. I had an attack of MCaH (Mass Confusion and Hysteria) there. Get it? March = 3rd mo. 14th… 3.1415926… etc.
Well, on the topic of pizza, I believe that sausage pwns (in the nicest sense) all. Sorry.
Sorry for posting yet again, but I re-read some comments, and I feel better for knowing that others were with me with the pi/pie confusion. *phew*
35- Wow…what do you eat on your pizzas?
Yay for Pie Day.
37- Plain cheese pizza lovers! Yeah!
*joins the plain cheese club* *pies those who do not order plain cheese*
*throws more pies in random directions* *after all, this thread is celebrating pie day
*

I’ve been too traumatized by the gross cheese pizza my school serves to be too fond of cheese pizza. My favorite is stuffed sausage.
moi loves garlic pizza.
y isnt anyone posting?
45 – Garlic pizza? You mean I’m not the only person on Earth who likes garlic pizza? In my opinion, any food can be greatly improved by either (depending on which food) adding more chocolate or adding more garlic.
47 – That’s so me! You are so right. No one believes that white pizza (garlic & cheese) is good. No one believes that if you sprinkle a little parmesan cheese & garlic on a buttered, toasted bagel it’s good!! Garlic + Chocolate (just not in the same mouthful) = Life.
(Am I just a little hungry?:))
*pies everyone*
Pie is good, but PI is better.
what does math have to do with anything, even if it is PI
48 – White pizza? That stuff is delicious!
