    Another post!

1-Well, before the letter came up, I know there where those projects where we would send things into the world to let people know of the kokonspiracy… Aha! I need to work on that. What do you think would be good to put on a very small piece of paper that I would copy and put different places?

  4. I’m here, just to let people know.
    I don’t really post a lot though.

I have HPB and Mostly Harmless buttons on my purse, and I wear my Koko for Pres. shirt a lot.
Lots of people ask what Mostly Harmless is, and they try not to act shocked when I explain it. It’s quite amusing.
I also bring Muse into my science class a lot, and my teacher often borrows them to use for class.

  5. ummmmm

Ok, now no one get upset… but we need to discuss the article for the fifty thousandth time. once and for all.

    I’ll refresh everyone.

The article is written in letter form and is planned to be mailed to muse on tuesday, by mail. Not e-mail. It’s practically a long letter to the readers of Muse to get them interested in the kokonspiracy. we would send it twelve times, twelve different people, from twelve different places. It woill make the leter seem unanimous. Like a jury. There’s twelve people on a jury, and there’s never a split jury. ; ;) ZVX, Myself, and ten other people will send it. If we ever discuss it through. ok. Does anyone have any objections to this plan, and if so, why.

Note: We will post the article and a short explaination on the random thread to make sure that everyone knows about it. ;)

put it between the sun and the
    earth which would burn up.
    Meanwhile all musers and
HPBs are on the moon roasting
    marshmellows in the flames
    WHAHAHAHAHA! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

    Here’s the article/leter:

    Dear Muse Staff and Editors:

Could you please print this in the fan mail section? We would really appreciate it.

    Dear Musers:
Deep within the cyberspace, in a universe known only to the modern Muser, a conspiracy is afoot. Its mission: world domination. As you probably know, what sets Muse head and shoulders above most ordinary magazines on the rack is the unique culture that has come to be associated with it over its 10+ year existence. What you may not know is that the website musefanpage.com/blog is dedicated to sharing this culture, which it calls ‘La Vida Koko’.”
You have probably seen various references to MuseBlog in the letterbox. Perhaps you thought this was a place where Muse readers discuss the magazine. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, the MuseBloggers are extremely ambitious. They’re ambitions extend to everything up to and including taking over the world.
In the troubled times that we live in, a group of MuseBloggers have formed a group of conspirators and sworn nonsecrecy to the common cause. In fact, the mission is so nonsecret that the group constantly tries to get attention.
The reader at this point may ask, “Why is world domination preferable?”
We MuseBloggers have found the current world leaders incapable of doing their job. Therefore, we have started a plot called the Kokonspiracy, codenamed Mostly Harmless, which calls for world domination, Kokopelli for present, and pies in every face. Already, we have begun carrying out the first stage of our plan: letting people know that we exist. Have you found leaflets with mentions of Muse in your library books lately? Or found washed up bottles on the beach containing messages about Muse? Or seen any other odd things that have to do with Muse?
Don’t be worried if you haven’t, because we can assure you that other people have.
We do use the phrase “world domination” jestingly. What we want is an enlightened society. A society of no wars, no cultural problems such as racism or sexism, and no idiotic politicians getting us into all sorts of trouble. A society where the environment, animals and people are respected.
It sounds like an extremely corny kid’s movie. Pipe dreams. We must remind ourselves that in twenty, thirty or forty years we will be the politicians, the lawyers, the doctors, the juries, the judges, and the grocer at the grocery store. We will be in the position of power.
What this society needs are more people who read Muse. We are not advertising, we are just trying to make the world a better place. If you want to help us make this happen, then visit our site at https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1149. We can change the world.

    Sincerely,

  15. (The GAPAs, somewhere in the Musisphere.)

 (Robert) – Many of them still seem to think they need to do something. All this fuss over plans, oaths, manifestoes…

 (Rebecca) – It’s an inevitable stage, I think. Artists go through it, too. It took me a long time to learn to trust myself and let the work guide me.

:D (Rosanne) – It doesn’t matter. People like plans. And it will all turn out the same in the end anyway.

 (Paul) – That’s spiffing news. I’m quite fond of happy endings, myself. Now, tell me more about those pubs they’re going to build on Mars…

 (Rebecca) – Speaking of beverages, could I interest anyone in some tea?

  16. I do not believe in imposing my opinions on others, even for the greater good. I will continue to be a Muser and hang out with Muserly people, but if someone does not want to be a Muser, then that if their choice.

  17. 20, I don’t think anyone was really mad at you. We all like you. You are a very nice friend. there were just some communication problems, er, last night.

24- We are not trying to impose our ideas on anyone. If someone disagrees with us, fine. That’s their problem. But there are people in this world who are not only trying their very best to kill people, but they are destroying our planet, our world, and our lives. I for one, will not stand on the sidelines as the police beat the crap out of one of my classmate’s brother like they did in Nov. for marching peacefully for the Youth house.

Now, I’m giving this as an example. I don’t expect any of you to protest the police because I have apersonal grudge against an /irresponsible/ cop.. However, when it comes to things that touch us all, global warming, the war in iraq, the genecide in darfur, the fifty tubs of radioactive waste that are dumped right off the coast of sweden and killing all the trout (which is why trout prices are skyrocketing, but EU is doing a godd job covering it up) then I will stand up and speak what’s on my mind, and if that includes ebetering the world og polotics as a youth and an adult, than so be it.

Muse stands for the protection of the enviroment and the fight against ignorance. The editors at muse do a great job of giving youth a source of knowledge and ninterest. Now we are letting musers (through the article) know about us, what our ideas are, which include our induvidual ideas and the ideas that we share. We will let the world (non-musers) know about us, and then they can make their choicee :with us, or against us, or in a neutral position, or half and half, or alongside us but not with us, etc. It’s their own choice. But can they make a choice that they do not know about?

Robert-HAHAH! I didn’t know the GAPAs did ssss! That’s funny. :D but you’re right, I think we shouldn’t force ourselves. This always used to be casual and when-you-felt-like-it. I thought that was better. Because, truly, what are we doing here? People are going to think we’re some sort of gang if we’re too serious :)

It’s an adventure of sorts, but we shouldn’t act as if it is actually going to gain us world power or anything…

  21. 25- But since when does Muse stand for that? I completely agree, but I don’t think we should say that Muse stands for that, or even MuseBlog stands for that, unless we know that they do. I personally have never seen Muse as being tied to any of those things in any way. You stand for that, Vixen. I agree with you wholeheartedly, but it’s not about Muse.

Mostly Harmless isn’t that serious to most of us. I don’t feel like Mostly Harmless will stop the world’s problems. If we want to try and make a difference, then by all means, let’s. But can we do it some other way?

  22. 22-but destroying things is fun
and anyway the planet should be
better and more peaceful after it is

  23. Here’s a back-up plan,
sneak in a UN meeting and
    convince all the world leaders
to be Musers then we can
make a thread forn them to post
    their progress in turning their
    people into Musers using mind
    control machines and then
hypnotize them to vote the GAPAs
the title GAPAs of the world
and all the people who are

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  24. Oops, I didn’t finish:

and all people who are Musers get free smores! ! ! ! ! ! !

now I’m done and I’m hungery making

    WHAHAHAHAHA! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

    Pie 0

  25. 31- All right, I admit there are certain people who might deserve to be burned up by a giant magnifying glass, but there are billions who don’t and aren’t Musers. Plus, what about all the animals?
    Here’s a better plan:
Every Kokonspirator runs for public office at some point in his/her life.
There have to be… what, a couple hundred MuseBloggers?… by now. And for every two that leave, three neophytes show up. We stand a good chance of being elected. Most of us are reasonably charismatic, we speak well (or blog well, at least) and we appeal to the oddballs of the world. If you don’t want to run for public office, go for some other position of significant influence, like the editor of the New York Times. (That’s what I’m aiming for.)

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  26. Alice:Hmmmm, have you any ideas? I’m completely dry.

Logogoe: Burning up the palnet doesn’t support enviromentalism, mind control machines don’t exist, the last person to sneak into a UN meeting was shot (well, he was an assassin), and I hate smores. Yuck!

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  27. 36- Mmm, public office? I doubt I’ll even run for class officer in my entire high school career (although I might). But Other Position of Significant Influence sounds good.

  28. 37-All right, all right
but it might be a little late I

oh yeah, back to business. is everybody sending their letter today?
if you are, please remember to send it BY MAIL, NOT e-mail. got that? good. we need to do some serious planning here, i’ve thought up a few schemes, which i will tell you of in a minute, but pleeaaassse put in any ideas.

    here’s the scheme:

    1 send letter to muse.

2 IF they publish it, then we can spread the word.

3 IF we see anyone new on MB, then try to recruit them.

4 see if there are any ways we can advertise?

5 IF we recruit new MBers, the neophytes MUST be instructed on the ways of the Kokonspiracy.

and also, do any of you have photoshop on your computers? sigh… i don’t. but we need a OFFICIAL LOOKING logo if we’re going to do this, and a lot more besides.

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  36. I might be able to make a logo on Picnik!

I’m aiming to be an actor, which is kinda a position of influence because they can endorse things and some people listen. They can also use acting to tell the public about a problem, or show a solution.

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  37. Maybe we can have them sell “Kokopelli for President” bumper stickers on the Musery Loves Company website. And maybe yard signs, although we might have to wait for the next election before those can get printed.

    Pie 0
    Squid 0

    Pie 0

  43. Sorry, my bad. Double post. *headdesk*

I think if we made the origional (the one at the top of this page) in a little more serious font, it could serve as our “official” logo, and would look more realistic. But we would keep it for, y’know, having fun.

    Pie 0

  46. Hey, Logogeo#69 or whatever the heck you call yourself! If you can’t think up schemes that don’t involve killing billions of people, then stay on the World of Warcraft and don’t attempt to start us frying the earth!

Yes, that was quite the impressive tirade I just gave, wasn’t it? No bad feelings, Logogeo, but we’re not about that. By the way, have you taken the oath?

    Pie 0

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  48. This may be totally unrelated, but why don’t we all just annex the moon and Mars, then build pie-silos on the planets mentioned. Then you may proceed to pie key military and social/goverment installations, then finish the takeover of earth with a large group of hpb special forces. then you can finish off any resistance and the conquest will be complete!

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  49. 83- Well, the UN Outer Space Treaty says no NATION can claim ownership of the surface of a celestial body, but Mostly Harmless is an ORGANIZATION, not a NATION.

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  50. Nothing can violate the sovereignty of the celestial bodies…Mostly Harmless definitely cannot claim ownership over a planet.

Wouldn’t it be a better idea to create an entirely new planet?

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  51. I wore my Mostly Harmless shirt today, some of the family members asked about it, but none of them really understood when I explained taht it was a plan to take over the world. Oh well.

  52. !!!
No nation can claim ownership of the SURFACE of a celestial body, but what about the inside?

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  53. Hmm~
I still think that getting Kokonspirators into positions of power is the most reliable way to go.
    !!!!!
I have an idea relating to the above. A Kokonspiracy map. Areas which Mostly Harmless controls will be in hot pink, and areas which Mostly Harmless influences will be in pale pink. Everywhere else will be white.
For instance, Robert is an editor for Science, right? Everywhere that Science is published will be pale pink.

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  54. And Spokane is in pale pink right now.

Today at the Kokon we were discussing that we should really go after teachers, since teachers certainly like Muse most of the time, and they can spread it to many of their students.

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  55. Heh, give me the word, friends, and I’ll color the whole of DC pale pink.

White House, here I come! Prepare to be… THE PALE PINK HOUSE!

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  56. I think there needs to be a further shade. Pink is influence. Hot pink is control. Pale pink is indirect influence.
Where’s Paul Baker from? (Yeah, England, but more specific.)

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  57. -99 well, we want hot pink–it shows that we are not some undetermined group of kids–we are in control, or will be.

Uuuuuhhh…. why does everyone want to know that Paul Baker lives in Kingswinford?

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  58. Will somebody please tell me what’s going on? I like the map idea myself, (check comment 91, posted by ΡÖŞΏĈ) but (leapfrogging off comment 93) we should get the school districts to make Muse a mandatory subscription. :-) By the way, whats the Kokon?

  62. I have an idea, we’ve been saying how we can rely on teachers who are in to MUSE to pass on a love for MUSE to their students. Someone could make guide lines for a conversation to get teachers interested in MUSE! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

    example:
Muser to teacher: I want you to read this article its very interesting its about . . .
    (teacher reads article)
Teacher to Muser: (says something like) WOW cool article . . .

This would involve studying the way teachers think and respond so we can get teachers interested in MUSE! ! ! ! ! ! !

  65. Has anyone ever thought that the Mostly Harmless idea of turning everyone into a Muser might not be such a good idea?, because if being a Muser was the norm then MuseBlog would be completely crowded all day and night and it wouldn’t be so unique to be part of the MUSE culture! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

    Pie 0

  66. 115- We are not trying to get everyone to be a muser. not everyone should be a muser. We just want to make it bigger then it is. And The Blog is alreary crowded day and night. The Gapas aren’t always on, so that’s why it may not seem that way.
Trust me, this is one of the faster forums on the web.

  72. Has anyone ever thought that the MUSE world domination idea of turning everyone into a Muser might not be such a good idea?, because if being a Muser was the norm then MuseBlog would be much more crowded than it already is all day and night and it wouldn’t be so unique to be part of the MUSE culture! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  98. Right: Here’s our project[s] currently:

The Article, which can be found below.

Spreading the word. According to mass vote, web page[s] should be put up by someone else.

Getting more organized. We’re horribly in disarray because of old threadness, no supporters, and general disrepair.

    Getting people excited about it. Here’s a great narration, (© 2008, KaiYves. Edits/alterations © 2008 by ZVX.)

“War costs billions of dollars. Guns, tanks, bombs, it all costs billions and billions of dollars. Your dollars. But it doesn’t have to be this way…”
“Imagine war fought with pies. Imagine untold defense dollars that could be used for something else, something better…”
“Imagine enhanced protection of our national parks and monuments…”
“Imagine affordable pastry and health care.”
“Imagine serious research into energy alternatives…”
“Imagine a return to the moon, and on to Mars…”
“Imagine life as you’ve never seen it before.”
    “Imagine Kokopelli.”

    “Kokopelli for president, 2008.”

    “go to https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1267 for details.”

    also, the article:

    Dear Musers:

Deep within the cyberspace, in a universe known only to the modern Muser, a conspiracy is afoot. Its mission: world domination. As you probably know, what sets Muse head and shoulders above most ordinary magazines on the rack is the unique culture that has come to be associated with it over its 10+ year existence. What you may not know is that the website musefanpage.com/blog is dedicated to sharing this culture, which it calls ‘La Vida Koko’.” [Why is there a quotation mark there?]

Therefore, we have started a plot called the Kokonspiracy, codenamed Mostly Harmless which calls for world domination, Kokopelli for President and pies in every face.

If you want to help us make this happen, then visit our site at https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1267 We can change the world.

    Sincerely,

The Kokonspirators, soon to be the Kokonquerors

    please edit!

  99. I think that’s good. But how are we going to get people to see it? The most we can do is get it into Muse, and that might not even happen. It’s not like we put it on a bill board, or make a annoying chain letter and send it to everybody, but have high hope my fellow Kokonspirators, though I must say I don’t have many myself, it might even make it to Muse.

    Pie 0

  100. How about: Kokopelli for President, 2012. It’s too late for 2008!

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  101. I think we need to start laying out plans for the Kokonarchy (our future government). Turning people to the Kokonspiracy is important, but we need to plan even further. Unless there are any objections, the official Kokonstitution will be written in Ble, and translated by 1,000 HPBs on typewriters, or something like that. As for what kind of government it will be, that’s up for grabs. Socialism, democracy, monarchy, theocracy, or anything. And as long as the world doesn’t end in 2012, it will be an everlasting utopian society, free from violence, ignorance, and apathy.

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  102. -176 exactly. Except what kind of gov. isn’t a question. It’s a musery, isn’t it?

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  103. I don’t think it should have a kind of government. ’cause it’s the world. The world doesn’t need to be led. It can do what ever it wants. One day when we’re in power, some people will think we’re not doing a good job (whoever that may be) so there should be no power. There should be no rulers. Just, janitors, and teachers I know. Your thinking, “Janitors? Teachers?” well, this world is a mess. The worst mess. And people can clean it up. Not the kind of “Wall-E” kind of clean up, a new start. It will be clean of wars. And teachers will not tell people what to do, but remind people of what not to do. How to help.

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  104. You’re right. It’s not a government. It’s more of a perfect society. When we succeed, there will be no need for rule because there will be no one trying to resist ruling. And stop making the GAPAs lives miserable and attracting online buzzards! We don’t need more websites to bring in a new world order! One’s enough, if it’s Museblog.

But first, who wants  -shaped biscuits, e.g. cookies?

    Pie 0

  105. (194) Good idea! The last people the Kokonspiracy would want to alienate would be librarians.

You could also use contact paper or other self-adhesive laminating sheets. Looks like it might even be narrow enough to tuck between two pieces of clear mailing tape.

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  106. (196) Laminating sheets, yes! Then you could print out a bunch of them, sandwich them all between two sheets, and cut them apart.

Then you’d have the fun of deciding which books to put them in. By now we have a pretty good idea of what the current MuseBloggers like…
