New here? We like newcomers! Confused? Join the club! But you can report to this thread (and please do) for a hearty MuseBlog welcome and answers to your questions.
Please read The Rules. You might also glance at The HG2MB (Hitchhiker’s Guide to MuseBlog), which contains helpful hints regarding local customs, lingo, and other peculiarities of the blog; smiley information included.
Hello Mousekokoteers!!! or shall I say Neophytes. Don’t worry. This is an April fools joke and the blog will (most probably) return to “normal” in a few days.
hehe
Heres just a few things you might like to know.
~ When you have posted what you think might be the first post on a thread DO NOT wrie FIRST POST!!! and then send it off with nothing else written. This will only infuriate everyone. It is however OK to write a nice post and then add first post? at the bottom.
~ If you are on Internet Explorer 7, your comment box will shrink if you post a long post like this one. You can remedy this by opening MuseBlog with Firefox or some other internet which I can’t remember. The other easy way is to type your long posts in Word and then paste it into your comment box.
~DO NOT USE AIM OR TEXT VOCABULARY!!!! USE GRAMMAR AND PROPER SPELLING!!!! I meen wood u like it if I psted usin slang or nt reel wordz? Save it 4 ur txting or im convos. How annoying is that??? Please refrain from that vulgar usage of wording/spelling. If you absolutely must do it, pick up your phone, open IM or do it on another blog!!!!!! However, unintentional spelling mistakes are acceptable.
~ Although we are random, a post like “I like pickles†on a thread discussing something like The Hare and The Hedgepie IS STRICTLY FROWNED UPON!!! It isn’t even very welcome on the random tread of the month.
~ Sam and I (I am also known as Zoe means Life) live in New Zealand so we are on a VERY different time/season than you. Don’t be surprised by our posts that occur in the middle of the night and our requests for certain threads a day early. If you live in the Southern Hemisphere, you will understand, and therefore, welcome to South Muse Academy.
~ I am the official President of MuseBlog so you must obey my every whim and desire.
~Lastly all
NeophytesNew MouseKokoteers are pied as a welcome. This is normally a friendly gesture so please don’t feel unloved if you are pied!!!So here have a pie and enjoy MuseBlog!!!!
*throws a chocolate raspberry tart that looks like a pie at all newbies*
First post? <—( this is acceptable by the way)
1 – The shrinking comment boxes still haven’t been fixed? That’s annoying. And who made you the president? (
) Grant O. is the chairman, and I think that’s enough for one blog.
I’m seconding Treble_Cone_Freeskier!’s statement about the different time zones. I too am in a very differnt time zone than most MBers, as I’m living in Israel this year. So be sympathetic to me and everyone else who’s got time zone issues when we miss half of the conversations becasue we’re asleep when they’re going on and such.
Hmmm. Pity there aren’t any neophytes yet. *sets up auto-pie-flinger to pie any neophytes who may come in while I’m asleep*
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. *stares at first post* Tee hee.
4-Hahah, since you didn’t get it I guess I won’t fine you. Or were you talking about the content of the post?
Folks, there is no Museblog president. The GAPAs moderate everything we say, so they are essentially in control.
Welcome, Newcomers!
Red-tailed HAWK

I’m TMFA for all of you guys. Thought this would be the best place to say that.
Haha I know I was kidding. May I be vice chairman instead???
Hello! I am Kokonilly,
neophytesNew Mouseketeers?*pies*
Neophytes: This is a temporary condition. We aren’t actually out of our minds.
That can be disputed, of course, but I think you know what we mean.
9- Don’t You mean We aren’t in our minds?
9 – We aren’t?
Hi! i’m new here. I’m kind of confused though.
first – what are mouse kokoteers???
second – what is all this crazy disney stuff? I thought it was Muse.
Now that Ive asked my questions, Let me tell you about myself. My name is Kayla, I am 13, my birthday is April 28th, I live in Sydney Australia but I go to school in Switzerland (but right now I’m home so I can recover) (I go to school In Switzerland so I can train year round for skiing – I quailified for Olympics so it was ALOT of training!), I have acute lukemia but its in remission, I love skiing and ice cream and yeah, thats about it! I hope this is what I’m suppossed to post!!
and that was my cousin – shes over here visiting and I introduced her to Museblog!!! aren’t I nice??? I thought we needed some noephytes…
now may I be appointed VICE chairperson??? please
and the above post was by me!! hahaha the things that happen when a different person posts on your computer
Welcome, a wilting violin! *chocolate pies*
12 – We aren’t all going insane. Check back later today and you’ll see that it’s back to normal (kind of).
Well, welcome a wilting violin! Here on Museblog, (I tell this to ALL Neophytes) you will find lots, and lots of pies! Where, you ask? *Pies a wiling violin with dream puff pie* Nice to meet you! I am tHe wEiRdo iN tHe poLkAdOt tOp hAt, also know as; baylee, beatlesrockr, disneyrockr, ven, and some other stuff. Me, well I like pie. I am in traveling soccer and basketball, I compete in science competitions, I live in Illinois, but right now I’m in georgia, I am actually British-Indian. But I have a strong british/midwestern accent. I don’t have Lukemia, but I do love The Beatles. Well then, hope you fell welcome *pies a wilting violin with my special blueberry strawberry filling triple chocolet pie*
ooooo hi people!! My sister, beatlesrockr told me to come here.
*pies wilting violin* *pies everyone else on this thread for good measure*
It would be appreciated if all neophytes visited the Muser Profiles thread (https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=839) to tell us about themselves.
The html allowed on the blog should be at the bottom of the page.
The pointless/in the inappropriate thread posting is forbidden, (this rule was touched upon by Zoe means Life/freeskier) and if you do what is called a PoPo (PointlessPost), you will be sentenced to having to give up a certain amount of virtual choklit (yes, choklit, not chocolate – that’s one of the texting/IMing language that is not only allowed but preferred) to the PointlessPostPolice (PoPoPo). If a MuseBlogger reports you, you can assume that you have given the choklit to a PoPoPoOf, to be distributed properly eventually.
Yes, we’re weird. We’re nerds and proud of it. No, NerdAndProudOf It, you did not coin that phrase.
I read the Rules, and the HG2MB. My names Serena, I’m 11 (just like Beatlesrockr, I’m her twin) i love tennis. I’m on the tennis team, and yes, I read Muse, not just my sister does! I just wasn’t here about the pink bunny thing….. My sister told me, that musers had started arguing about dogs and cats, and hot pink bunnies would put letters to people who talked about them? Is that right?
20 – We’re not nerds. We’re geeks. There’s a distinct difference.
20 – im not a nerd. sorry about that!!!!
21 – yup thats right *pies cutefzzystuff*
I’m a bit (well a little more than a bit to be honest) of a neophyte myself as I only showed up two weeks or so ago. But, since pieing is a right and not a privilege,
*pies all neophytes*
Welcome.
22-Personally I would say nerds, to be quite honest, but I’m no expert in the field.
20- (This is the Last Time I’m going to talk remotly about Disney.)
From The suite life of Zack And Cody:
Cody: “We Prefer the Term ‘educational gifted'”
We’re geeks. Geeks are cool.
11-Like I said, that can be disputed. *pours chocolate sauce into cup and drinks it*
Uh, yeah. So I’m Beavo. I have a couple of spdzk points, but I took them off my name for the time being. I have a mild condition of OCD, you see, and it looked wrong up there.
*pies everyone*
I think we are nerds, at least at my school. Nerds are smart people who don’t care to be popular, and geeks are average or low intelligence people who lack most social graces.
24 – Nerds are “educationally gifted”. Geeks are a) hugely obsessed about something, and devote their life/spare time to it, or b) just plain weird.
.Hi Neophytes – I’m Trebel Cone Freeskier! – I am the only member of MuseBlog who goes to both Muse Acadamy South and Muse Acadamy, as I live in both New Zealand and New Jersey. I am also known around the blog as zoe means life, and years ago – the pink stalking penguin of penzance and yayforhotpinkbunnies BUT DONT BRING THAT UP EVER!!!! don’t be weired out by Sam and I having conversations that are impossible to follow. For some odd reason, I happen to be in the same school as her so yeah.
I’m Kokonilly, formerly fellowmuser.
If you want to know any further, inquiries are welcomed.
*pies*
Hey, I was here before, long time ago as Ultimatejeeves but apparently i’m not ultimate anymore. Does anyone remember me? ‘Sob’.
21 – Welcome! Sorry I’m a bit late with my pie. *pies*
32 – Vaguely.
22 – There certainly is a distinct difference, and I say that most of us are both. There are some that are only one or the other, but I figured nerd would pretty much cover it.
Someone explain to the neophytes (and me, but don’t tell them I don’t know oops too late) what spdzk points are.
Spdzk?
The Delphi Oracle, what a good name!
I should’ve used that on the Alter-Ego Thread!
I think I’m a neophyte?
I invented spdzk points. There are only 100 of them in existence, so they are some of the most valuable points on the blog (many other varieties exist, but spdzk points are the originals), despite the fact that they aren’t worth anything. They are awarded when the previous owner deems that another MuseBlogger has done or said something deserving of them. They can also be traded for various goods and services in the Musiverse. The actual pronunciation resembles the noise made by a dog upon discovering that it has a bee in its mouth, but you can say “spid-zik” if that’s too hard.
32- I remember you!
Welcome! have some pie!
oops………………………………….they were booby-trapped woth hot pink bunnies!
36- I wish That I had gotten all of them. I was very close. I did, Techanly, Win. Then We Wouldent have gotten this mess
22-we ARE TOO nerds!
there’s a nasty meaning out there for “geek”
…as well as dork.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACk its shrinking
1
39
Are you saying that you almost got all the spdzk points? In that case, you wouldn’t have won. The point of spdzk points is to propagate them as far as possible, not to hoard them.
41- look at the GENERAL SCIENCE thread.
42- Oh, yes. The original contest that spread the spdzk points.
35 – *pies The Bookworm* You’re only a neophyte as long as you consider yourself one.
43- quite. I Nearly got them. I say them as fun, but as they’ve take over, I’m quite sacred.
Welcome, all neophytes! I am MissSwann, your current Harry Potter/Twilight/Maximum Ride freak geek diva! I am your source for all release dates relative to those three topics. I also am married to Red Tailed Hawk (just don’t ask).
46- no, your engaged.
…Can you post new threads?
46 – I’m asking. …Why?
46- Really? Seriously? You’re engaged?
Hey, I like Maximum Ride too! And I’m still waiting for the next book to come to me from a long waiting list at the library……
46- Does this have anything to do with what I saw on the Muse Fanfiction thread?
To you neophytes:
I have a message from the Opera Ghost. He welcomes you to his Opera House and commands that you continue to leave box 5 empty for his use and reminds you that his salary is due.
Just kidding
have fun on here! (it’s very addicting)
*is lost* *decides to go visit other threads*
But before I go, welcome neophytes (of whom I am one)!
Actually I think I might be the noobest person on the blog. Oh wait, never mind, some neophytes came. Ah well. End of that study. Cheerio!
ATTENTION ALL NEOPHYTES
Please go HERE comment 132. After you read it, please go to comment 139. Please copy it, fill in answers and post it. (This is not just for Neophytes – this is for everyone on MuseBlog, not just Neophytes
— Thank You —
Muse Academy South Administration
Welcome Neophytes,
Logogeo96! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I was a neophyte myself about a month ago
if you have any questions about how the blog works
please consult the rules and the guide or post your
question on this thread we will be happy to respond! ! ! ! ! ! !
–
52 – I love Phantom of the Opera!
55- Could you please do the following:
1. Write all they way across the blog in paragraph style. It’s hard to read when you hit enter so much.
2.Use Capitals.
3. Use the great Period.
4. If you do have to use exclamation points, use 1 at a time, please.
5. also, You still a neophyte.
53- I think your not a neophyte.
hello, Neophytes,
I’m ZVX, (I used to be Mouse) pie master, and lessee, i am notoriously a spike pier of !IBCFi, and others,
i have been a MuseBlogger for only six months now, so i’m still half neophyte.
*pies more neophytes*
I’m Karin Taylor Lastname. I used to be Unintended Pun.
I like the Romance and Relationships thread, the Random Thread, the Advice, Just Friends, and sometimes the Religion thread.
53 – You are still technically a neophyte, but you’re not n00bish and you don’t use chatspeak and stuff, so you’re really not a huge neophyte anymore. I think of you as a borderline neophyte.
Oh, and, for all neophytes, I’m Cat’s Meow. You will notice me a lot on the writing threads, and I love pie and being incredibly random.
-pies all neophytes in advance-
47, 49, 50, 51- Yes, M4Aeiou, I stand corrected. For all the newbs (or other) who don’t get it, it all started in the Leap Day thread. Leap Day is traditionally when females can propse to marriage to men. Hawk was complaining on how no girls had proposed to him that day. Me, being kind and piteuos, asked him if he would marry me. We’ve been engaged ever since. I even have a virtual ring.
48- Go to the suggestion box or email the GAPAs.
WWWWHHHHAAAAAAAAAAATT???? you’re engaged with hawk? you gotta be joking!
61- How romantic.
*isn’t sure who’s a neophyte, so pies all around*
*pies every neophyte with a spring pie (which is blueberry filling, and strawberry/banana toppings!!)* Welcome! I really don’t know if there are any neophytes, but my sister should be back any moment now……. she said she would, but I have no idea.
61- We should have a marriage on may 1st!
61 –
Woah. My mind is reeling.
61- Ah, romance.
*fires love arrows at everyone in sight*
68 – Eep!
-hides-
68 – Yikes! *duck behind wall*
53/60-*feels flattered and welcomed* Thanks! Though, honestly, the only reason I don’t use chatspeak is because I don’t know any.
61-*throws virtual whatever-party-you-throw-for-people-not-so-recently-engaged*
68-*hides inside pie crust and prays its arrow-proof*
57- When would I be considered not a neophyte?! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
36 – Heh. That makes sense. But I don’t have any and I never will because no one’s going to trade their spdzk points for anything that I have. But how the heck do you keep track of them? Someone wants to award a spdzk point to someone but doesn’t have any, so they try to get one, then they end up putting it up into thin air. Heh.
Welcome newcomers!
71 – I can help you there. Also known as ichyt, one of the last things you learn in Useless chatspeak class. Sry, i had 2 do tht.
*Bakes a pie and decides that it’s too nice, but then it gets stolen and thrown at a passerby*
Hm. I didn’t know there were any passersby here.
*wipes pie off face* I think I was passing by.
72) I don’t know. I guess you’re not new anymore, but it’s still fun to pie you. *pies*
What’s Muse Academy South?
The link didn’t help much…
76- Did you look for post #132 after you followed the link?
*pies everyone within the last 8 posts*
*pies back*
71- Rice.
66- Good idea! Hey GAPAS?
77 – *pies*
73-Thanx (I don’t know if that even counts as chatspeak).
*madly pies everyone in sight*
*storms of thread in a huff*
*is back in a jiffy*
Right, now that I’ve collected my temper (and had a chance to use “in a jiffy and goes of in a huff), I think I will leave this thread on tiptoe just to show how nice and quiet and civilized I am capable of being. Not. *storms off yet again* I’m not actually mad, just, well, random.
Oh, and I will add “Welcome any neophytes” to thread 81 to make it admissible and not too random.” And sorry for the double post. And maybe it would be better if the popopo pretended I just never said anything. Since,
i know i’m kinda late, but i am a serious neophyte here! thats right, go ahead and pie me, i think my awesome flat-screen computer of awesomeness will protect me. i’ve been getting muse for a while, but i just got around to checking this place out yesterday. soooooooooo… here i am.
oh by the way (seriously late again), we’re nerds. i hate the term geek.
83- *pies through computer screen*
Yes, it is possible.
*pies* We are geeks. I hate the term nerds.
I don’t mind either.
I like geek better then nerd, but I don’t like either much. -pies he Guy Your Parents Warned You About-
I AM NOT A GEEK OR A NERD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tryst me. i am just slightly overexcitable
78- *repeatedly pies Kiwimuncher*
80- *repeatedly pies Kokonilly*
81- *madly hurls various pastries at Hypatia*
83- Ugh, I hate the term nerd. We’re geeks! *pies through screen*
88- Oh, sure. *flings, casts, chucks, hurls, and otherwise throws pies at Trebel_Cone_Freeskier!*
83 – Nice name. *pies* Oh, and welcome by the way.
***pies every neophyte around***!!!!!
*Chucks seventeen pasties directly at the guy your parents warned you about.*
89 – I SWEAR!!!!!
91- *flings, casts, chucks, hurls, and otherwise throws various pastries
at ZVX*
92- Fine, fine, I believe you.
84- ok i think i have to get my pieproof computer checked…
*pies everyone*
91- darn, i never thought about pastry-proofing my computer…
*hits ZVX with a pastry as payback*
94- *realizes TGYPWYA’s computer is pieproof* *proceeds to fling, cast, chuck, hurl, toss and otherwise throw various quiches, flans, dumplings, tarts, cobblers, donuts, croissants, cakes, rolls and other assorted pastries at TGYPWYA*
*hurls any leftover pastries at ZVX*
89 – *pies back*
Wow, the screen sure is messy.
96- *proceeds to fling, cast, chuck, hurl, toss and otherwise throw various pies, flans, dumplings, tarts, cobblers, donuts, croissants, cakes, rolls and other assorted pastries at Kokonilly*
**hurls, fires, and randomly blasts pies, croissants, pasties, muffins, cakes and all other manner of throwable pastry into IBCF’s face**
and for good measure…
*Spike pies TGYPWYA for pieing me (it’s wrong for a neophyte to pie me,)
*buries ZVX in 30 feet of pastry*
*buries IBCF in 3,456 meters of pies.*
*purchases pastry-proof screen* *installs* *pies to heart’s content*
Welcome, Neophytes! Do not be alarmed by this intense pie-throwing session.
*joins the melee*
I have to admit this is fun.
*launches an attack of multiple pies at random people*
However my pie-proof screen reroutes all pies to my email, so if I open it on a non-pie-proof computer, things get messy.
Oh well, it’s still fun.
*more pies*
But where are the neophytes? I would dearly love to pie a neophyte. However, it doesn’t seem that we get many of them. *holds pie ready and hides behind the webpage*
100- Ah, poor me. I’ll never see the light of day again, as I’ve been buried under 3,456 meters of pie. *reveals that I have not been buried, but, in fact, ZVX buried a dummy* *tosses exploding pie at ZVX which explodes in a shower of cream*
101- *casually walks over to Kokonilly’s screen* *ducks under screen with Kokonilly* *proceeds to fling, cast, chuck, hurl, toss and otherwise throw various pies, flans, dumplings, tarts, cobblers, donuts, croissants, cakes, rolls and other assorted pastries at Hypatia, ZVX, and TGYPWYA*
*buries IBCF good an’ proper* *proceeds to fire, shoot, fling, cast, blast, chuck, throw, and hurl miscellaneous exploding pastries at the following: IBCF, Hypatia, TGYPWYA, and Kokonilly*
*spike pies IBCF and Hypatia*
okay, you guys are goin down
*throws the infamous exploding cinammon roll of DOOM at IBCF, Hypatia, Kokonilly, and ZVX*
*throws a few pies and other pastries in for good measure*
*shouts jungle war cry* WELCOME NEOPHYTES!!!!!!!!!! *Throws exploding blueberry filled pies at a machine gun speed, at everyone on the thread* YEAH! *Goes behind Kokonilly’s screen, and throws pie at both of their backs*
*joins melee even though she has no idea what is going on* *spike pies everyone and quickly performs Shield Charm (protego!)*
Hehe… I still feel like a newbie….Of course, there might be a reason for that, seeing as how I only joined like three months ago.
Well, at least newcomers will get a clear idea of what to expect around here.
*cheerfully pies everyone in sight and most people out of sight as well*
*uses to tweezers to remove spikes from spike pie*
*growls omniously*
*begins pie-throwing rampage*
106, 107- *was behind Kokonilly’s screen, so inaffected by these two posts*
108- *is pied* *wipes pie off face* Backstabbing! How low can you get? *pies back*
109- Humph, I invented the spike pies! I have power over all of them! *stops Turquoise’s spike pie in it’s tracks* *spike pie harmlessly splatters on floor*
_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\_
____/
\____
*threatens anyone who gets too close with spike pie of his own*
111- *dodges to avoid flying pies*
*starts backing out of thread before it is overwhelmed by pastry* *dodges more pies*
Man, I’m glad I perfected my pieproof suit now. This place is seriously hazardous to life and limb!
*dodges pies* *quickly leaves thread*
*BAM!!!!! quickly pies IBCF with an exploding spike pie*
*BOOM!!!! pies TGYPWYA with a second of the exploding Spike Pies*
You guys…
We are supposed to be welcoming neophytes here, not having a pie war!
I, myself, am a neophyte, and I expect many pies in the face for that.
Just please make them coconut cream pies!
This scene really is quite hilarious.
I might, against my better judgment, have to join in the fun (it sure looks like fun, that is).
[I’m also expecting many pokes in the belly, to see if I giggle like my brother, the famous Pillsbury Doughboy]
116- Hi, Pillsbury!
Have some pie! *hands coconut cream pies*
115- Sheesh, what do you have against me? *stops spike pie in tracks and makes in explode in mid-air* *leaves thread* *is gone* *and can not be pied*
116- HI! *Is hit with pie* IBCF!
Welcome Female uncooked food of the bread type by a famous company.
POSOC is better at this then me.
*PIES*
116 – Welcome! -throws pies- I’m Cat’s Meow.

116-WELCOME!!! *Pies everyone on thread with exploding blueberry pies(still behind Kokonilly’s screen)* As you can see I am Beatlesrockr! Now, if you could just stay still, and look this way, I’d be happy to show you what we usually do around here……..

(OK sorry Pillsbury i just had to have some fun there, welcome)
*pies everyone else agian with exploding pies for good measure*
*pies everyone in sight, just for good measure* May your projectile pastries always fly true, And may your force fields be strong.
Wow! I did not see comment 125 until I had submit mine and we both used pieing for good measure. *is disturbed* *pies everybody to relieve feelings of mortification*
124- And I’m a little to experienced *is still behind screen* see, with Kokonilly’s new invention, we can pie anybody, and nobody can pie us! *Takes Pie launcher* *In Chinese action movie accent* “You have become skilled at the ways of pie throwing, young grasshopper! But not skilled enough!” Here on Museblog you will find lots of pies, where you ask? *Throws Pies at machine gun speed at everyone* WAHOO!!!!!!!!
*exploding chicken pot pie to The Guy Your Parents Warned You About’s face* *PATOOIE!*
This is fun!!!!!!!
*yawns emphatically* *recevies several pies in the mouth. Delicious! *haphazardly chucks a couple of pies* *fires eclairs out of cannon*
*comes back to thread with huge hose* *hoses down pie goo* *washes pie goo off Hypatia, Pillsbury, Beatlesrocker, TGYPWYA, and ZVX* *leaves*
*Pies everyone with special frozen cranberry muffin pies that have the UltraVioletBeige power to go through everything except their victims…err, targets*
Take THAT, Kokonilly and When Life Gives Me Lemons I Make Beef Stew (I think I shall call you Beef Stew from now on)
Hi ‘phities!! Welcome, have some pie, you know the drill. well, actually, you might not, but read this thread and you’ll get a pretty good idea.
55~ Did you start posting under LogoRager? Forgive me if I’m wrong.
Thanks, IBCF, but I doubt that’s gonna do anything.
131-Good of you! Though I could have licked them off.
*sends pies splattering in everybody’s faces* Enjoy, courtesy of the house!
*comes back to thread once more*
132- “Beef Stew” is actually beatlesrocker’s alter ego. So don’t worry about that.
134- *turns hose on full blast* *thread soon becomes filled with water*
*leaves*
*pies Pillsbury Doughgirl in welcome, not as an act of war*
Welcome to the blog! Hope we don’t scare you too much.
Pillsbury Doughgirl seems to know the blog well. Too well. I’m almost thinking that she is an old MBer trying to pull one over us.
But if you are a neophyte, welcome to this place of mosly harmless insanity. I am Trebel_Cone_Freeskier!, Great Chief of Product Safety on the Zemetee thread, founder of Muse Academy South, an also known as zoe means life. I expect you to all wear plaid on April 27th (preferably PINK plaid) because it is tradition that on a musers birthday, we wear their favourite colours.
(well at least we used to. I do/did)
Pies piess and more pies
Glug, glug! I *splurts water* will get *splurts water* you for this *splurts water* Ã߀ƒ!
*rapidly pies Ã߀ƒ and, well, its difficult to know precisely when you’re semi-drowning and covered in cream, but I would say, everybody else too*
I’M STILL BEHIND THE PASTRY-PROOF SCREEN!
*pies Hypatia at a machine-gun rate*
Right, all. Time to cease the mayhem and restrict your pie-ing to friendly welcome pies for newcomers to the blog. Your pastry-flinging skills, however, are desperately needed on the Bunny Apocalypse thread.
141 – Fine. *trots to the mentioned thread*
140- Hah! Such a thing does not exist. *pies u to next wednesday*
MissSwann has an important announcement!!!!!!!!!!! Summit Entertainment has recently cast Taylor Laument as Jacob Black!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
141-
Sorry*strolls of to bunny thread* *takes back pies*
138 – I swear on Kokopelli, Muse, HPBs, pies, and everything else important that I am a neophyte. I started yesterday or the day before. Can’t remember.
The reason I may know the blog “too well” could be that I’ve been reading over many of them in order to familiarize myself. If I hadn’t, I probably wouldn’t have survived in this big, flying-superpowered-pie world.
145 – oh ok you were just a lurker. thats good enough for me
*skips off whistling*
145- Do you swear on Harry Potter????? (twitch, twitch)
A serenade for the n00bs
Well, I ain’t never been the Barbie doll type
No, I can’t swig that sweet champagne, I’d rather drink beer all night
In a tavern or in a honky tonk or on a four-wheel drive tailgate
I’ve got posters on my wall of Skynyrd, Kid and Strait
Some people look down on me, but I don’t give a rip
I’ll stand barefooted in my own front yard with a baby on my hip
‘Cause I’m a redneck woman an’ I ain’t no high class broad
I’m just a product of my raisin’I say ‘hey ya’ll’ and ‘yee-haw’
And I keep my Christmas lights on on my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Charlie Daniels song
So here’s to all my sisters out there keepin’ it country
Let me get a big ‘hell yeah’ from the redneck girls like me, hell yeah
Victoria’s Secret, well there stuff’s real nice
But I can buy the same damn thing on a Wal-Mart shelf half price
And still look sexy, just as sexy as those models on TV
I don’t need no designer tag to make my man want me
Well, you might think I’m trashy, a little too hard core
But in my neck of the woods, I’m just the girl next door
Hey, I’m a redneck woman an’ I ain’t no high class broad
I’m just a product of my raisin’ I say ‘hey ya’ll’ and ‘yee-haw’
And I keep my Christmas lights on on my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Tanya Tucker song
So here’s to all my sister’s out there keepin’ it country
Let me get a big ‘hell yeah’ from the redneck girls like me, hell yeah
I’m a redneck woman an’ I ain’t no high class broad
I’m just a product of my raisin’ I say ‘hey ya’ll’ and ‘yee-haw’
And I keep my Christmas lights on on my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every ol’ Bocephus song
So here’s to all my sister’s out there keepin’ it country
Let me get a big ‘hell yeah’ from the redneck girls like me, hell yeah
Hell yeah, hell yeah
Hell yeah
I said hell yeah!
145- I joined around three weeks ago and I lurked too. Lurking is fun. But not as fun as posting.
Awww… i missed coming here for ONE DAY and i missed the climax, the GAPA intervention, AND the end of the intense fighting.
*sigh*
Oh well.
145,149- I lurked for one day. Then i jumped in here, and I’m loving it.
Well, I’m not exactly new…but I haven’t been for….a year?? Something like that. Anyway, I am the same NatTheCat as…a really long time ago.
151- Hey! I remember you! Dimly. You were on the BiP back in its dying days. Of course, it’s still in its dying days, but I mean those dying days, as opposed to the current dying days.
I can’t remember, but were you on one of the RRRs?
152- BiP?
oh, and I think it was terraformed.
153- Books in Progress.
*pies newcomers*
I’m new and I would like to be pied. I would like to discuss the meaning of neophyte, it seems like new plant, sapling, sprout. Am I a brussel sprout?
151 – I remember you! I’m Cat’s Meow, I just recently changed my name because it’s the only way I could get the “Your comment is awaiting moderation” message to reappear. Do you remember me?
157 – Welcome! -pies heartily-
Why do people put numbers before their post
159-(Aeiouser) The numbers are so people know what post someone is replying to. Since your post number was 159 I wrote it there so people can easily find what I’m responding to.
Aeiouser~ The reason we do this is to reply to a certain comment. You’ll notice that there is a number (in your most recent case, 159) before your name. It’s easier to just write the number of the post to which we are referring and then write a reply. Everyone does it differently, I use the tilde (~) some people put the name and then the number in parentheses, some people use a dash– it all depends on personal style.
Welcome!!!!!! *pies*
159 – Well, it’s basically a form of quoting, or saying which post you are replying to. For example, if I just randomly said, “Wow! That sounds really fun!” nobody would know what I am talking about. But if in Post #345 on that same thread had talked about something they were going to do that summer and that was the post I was trying to reply to, I could say “345 – Wow! That sounds really fun!” and everybody would know who I was talking to.
Does that make any sense?
Hello!
Well, I’m not exactly new here but have been, sadly, out of the practice of Museblogging for over a year.
*pies* to anyone who still remembers me!
163 – No, sorry, I don’t remember you. But welcome back, anyways! -welcome back pies-
im back here after 2 years
maybe less, i dont really remember now.
but some of these new complicated threads are crazyconfusing, guess i’ll just start reading…..
Aeiouser- STOP Copying my name/ aeiou’s homeboy’s name. But He copied me, so STOP COPYING ME!
*pies all neophytes*
Hello, I am a noobful person too. Actually, my one month blogiversy is in two days so I am excessively new. I like complaining and procrastinating. Which I do on every possible thread. *finishes rant about self*
Welcome!
I’m not new here, but still, what’s up with Wung points, menagerie points, compass, and creativity ceylons, an B-day points? Cause before there weren’t any, just pie points and spdkz points, and I tried to make “Beatpoints” but everyone said we should just keep it to spdkz points and pie points, so, what’s up?
Anyway, *pies all who are new, and all who are back* happy to have so many neophytes!
168-They are for the H&H card game. Stop by, play a hand, and you’ll understand it (as in, you’ll be more confuzzled than ever).
168- the Wung, Menagerie, Compass, and Creativity Ceylons are from the card game on H&H. Don’t Ask. The Bday Points are from TCF, but She hasn’t given us any thing else about them.
169- I know about the card game in H&H. I just didn’t know we have to put the points in our name…… thankyou!
Yeah. the rules are as follows:
There are no rules.
166- I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you had an “Aeiou” name
166 – Um…you know, you didn’t invent Aeiou. o.O
*pies Aeiouser* Welcome!
*pies shriya siolashrwa jeffica* Welcome back!
Welcome, Aeiouser!
Why, I don’t think my comment posted!
176-
Welcome Aeiouser!
I am still a neophyte, but I confuddled people on the Alter Ego Thread for a while.
*pies all neophytes* *leaves*
First, I’m new here *ducks thrown tomato* and I need to know something.
I posted comments on another thread, but they didn’t show up. Did they get zapped? I read the rules and followed the to the letter.
181- Tomatoes? Come on, we’re civilized people! Tomatoes aren’t nearly messy enough.
Also, it seems that you are a victim of, erm, um… Well, as far as I know, nobody’s named it yet. But a while back MB went through a sort of a problematic phase, and one of the problems is that the comment won’t show up after you post it. They might have gone through anyway. How long ago was it?
*pies*
182- IT’S NOT ANYTHING ABOUT THE MARCH MADNESS! (I think that should be the name. It’s cute.
If you don’t have cookies on and you change your name/ post for the first time, you will not see your post.
*tomato pies Lt. Drake*
Welcome! The problem of your post not showing up is caused by the WordPress software needing another upgrade. But I don’t think that’s not going to happen anytime soon, considering what happened last time.
-117 i don’t have anything against you Ã߀ƒ, just that you kept pieing me, how am i supposed to respond to that?
(i’m not even sure WHO started that bout of pies)
185- I know, ZVX. I was just being sarcastic.
Ź√Ҳ and Ã߀ƒ (POSOC,why did you start this bout of odd charters in names?) PLEASE come to the Zemtee thread. It’s Zempty.
I’m punny.
Hello neophytes and the like. Welcome to Museblog. If you are a civilised being, come to the Hare & the Hedgepig. If you are uncivilised, go to the random thread or the Bunny Apocalypse thread. No matter what level of civilisation you have acquired, you deserve this: *piepiepiepiepiepiepiepie*
Share and enjoy!
Hello again, abecedarians. If there are any of you. Welcome to Museblog. It will change. Your. Life.
The preceding message in Ble:
Logan, noobs. Furthere. Welma Mublo. T’il chanj. Yer. Lif.
You had all better know where your towels are.
189 – Hoopy!
Hello, I’m a neophyte. Actually, more like uber-ultra-neophyte. Uber-ultra-neophyte to the power of uber-ultra neophyte. *readies Aegis of +2 Anti-Pie* I remember lurking once before, but other than that this is my first experience with MB. I’d better brush up on my pie-dodging skills.
Just for the record, I think “nerd” is a more accurate description of us Musers. Nerds know a lot, and like to learn more, and you can’t have a love of learning without certain…eccentricities. *cough*pies*cough*. Geeks, on the other hand, speak fluent Klingon. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I think that nerds are more self-sustaining in their strangeness. Geeks, as a whole, depend on the current icons of geekiness (like Star Trek in the 70s–80s) to maintain their loserly status.
Okay, back to the pie-throwing. *pies all fellow no0bitrons*
191- excuse me? I nkow nothing of Klingon. Latin and Frnch are much more sophisticated. Here’s to those skills of yours *pies mercilessly*
*pies Colonel O’Popcorn* Welcome, O-Uber-ultra-neophyte to the power of uber-ultra neophyte!
I think I’m both a nerd and a geek.
Ahhh! Blog is so confusing to a noob like me!
Lt. Drake: Yes, the blog can be a bit overwhelming at first, but one does get used to it after a while. You just have to become accustomed to the ordinary chaos and strangeness of us all and you’ll be fine. Welcome aboard!!!! *pies* =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|}
*logs back on* *is hit by welcome-pies* mmm pie *PIES BACK FURIOUSLY*
*pies Lt. Drake* From a neophyte to a neophyte, welcome! *pies again*
*pies Lt. and Colonel* *salutes*
Woah, there, abecedarians. If you want to pie each other that much, go to a pie war thread, or the Bunny Apocalypse thread. I’m to lazy to provide links, but it will be a good exercize in navigation in the Musiverse.
*[|} [|} [|} [|}* pies everyone on thread.
This thread is piefull!
If you want a nice thread, go to the Hare and the Hedgepig!
Oh, God, i am scarred for life. Future reference: if you ever find a Harry/Hagrid fanfiction, DON’T READ IT. Or Draco/Hermione rape fics. *shudder*

*[} pies MissSwann* i just like to pie phytes. regardless of prissiness.
[} *pies u back* Prissiness? Who’s prissy?
hey, so technically i’m not a phyte cuz i was here last summer, but only for a small bit before my computer stopped being able to handle it. but since i haven’t been here for so long i came back to the noobie thread… so yeah, hey everybody!
Please use capitalization!
*Pies SuperUnicorn*
*welcome pies SuperUnicorn*
Hallooooooooo! *echoes*
*pies* *leaves*
Awww, does the capitalization really bother you that much? I never type with caps (and rarely with apostrophes) so it’s not really a habit, but if it’s obnoxious i suppose i can change…
*pies back with banana cream*
You can join Man for Aeiou for your lack of grammar liking. I’ve been on his tail for that a few times. [}
Welcome to MB!!!!!!!!! (sort of… welcome back, maybe?)
223- I’m getting better! You know it to. Why is it that you always like to try to make me laugh?
224- I like to try to make you laugh? In-ter-est-ing… I don’t try, so maybe it’s just natural… and you are getting better. Thumbs up!
222- We’re willing to accept idiosyncrasies as long as they remain intelligible. Some prefer to use capitalization, some don’t. We don’t usually object to personal styles as long as they don’t involve blatant ch4tsp34k or fifteen one-sentence posts in a row. Oh, and welcome! *flamablamaberry pie*
Yeah, I’m just a stickler for capitalization!
*Lemon Merangue Pies back again*
226- You sound so sophisticated, POSOC! Even though you have the word ‘sock’ in your name!
Hey, killerchipmunk! How do you do? It’s been an awfully long time.
[} pies MissSwann, [} [} pies SuperUnicorn. [} pies everyone.

*Strawberry Rhubarb Pies Rainsong of Thunderclan*
Are you a neophyte, or coming back?
Welcome anyway, Rainsong!
Hello? HEL-LOO! Where are all the MuseBloggers today? Wait. Let me rethink that. HOW COME ALL THE MUSEBLOGGERS HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH THEIR LIFE THAN SIT IN FRONT OF A COMPUTER AND BLOG? Aaaah!!! Please, GAPA,kill me now so I won’t suffer.
Oh, and sorry for the double-no, triple- no, QUADRUPLE posts! I can’ t contain myself!
Not literally, of course.
236- NO! DOWN WITH BUNNIES! *pies bunnies* *runs*
238- Right here. *blows your brains away with nuclear pie launcher* A warriors name, praps? I’m Cricketsong, myself.
228- That’s a nice compliment, even though it does have a sting in the tail.
I might re-organize to become SPOOC (Sir Prarilius Oob Ozlips Canix) but I promised the GAPAs I would remain POSOC. And POSOC’s a good name.
*buries The Bookworm in 64,982 feet of assorted pastry*
Help, I can’t breath under so much pastry!
Is The Bookworm a neophyte? *casts vanishing spell on 64,982 feet of assorted pastry trapping The Bookworm*
WELCOME NEOPHYTES! *pies all neophytes, nay, everyone in the room with blueberry pies and shouts war cries*
*decides to eat rhubarb cherry pie instead of throwing it.*
I don’t believe I’m a neophyte anymore, as I’ve been here for a month! Thanks for vanishing those pastries, though!
248- You’re welcome. Check the first post I made on the random thread to see who I am… for want of a better way of phrasing it.
HULLO, what’s this? ACTUAL neophytes? *pies*
No, Lord Abracadee is a fake neophyte!
He’s an alterego!
And I’m not a neophyte anymore…
251- Your still a Neophyte if you’ve only been here for a month. And, he’s not really an Alter Ego. Go check out the Hareathon, post 193, 229, and 223 (hehe) he’s Koko du Pelle!
*Pies all neophytes, and everybody else in the room with special blueberry and strawberry pies* WELCOME NEOPHYTES!

This is a teensy bit pathetic…and looks incredibly fun! I might join, though I don’t think I could muster the strength to compete with your formidable records.
I don’t think so, Kokonilly…
