I wonder what’s coming up in part two of that video. Maybe a duel to the death between the Bunny Queen and Hello Kitty?
First post?
Nice video, IBCF!
not first post…
double post!
Great video IBCF! How long did it take to make it?
Thanks, guys!
1- Probably not…
4- A while.
Ah! A new thread! What I’m wondering about now is why that red ball can knock out bunnies.
Why is everyone hating on these hot pink bunnies? What did they ever do to you!!!!!! *taps foot* =( lol JK. But seriuosly this is old.
hee hee hee i luv posting comments! hey all muse bloggers ppl, go to youtube and to charlie the unicorn is so funny!!!
New question: In the movie, we see the bunnies’ ears spinning like helicopter rotors. How is this physically possible? Is the top of the bunnies’ head a bit detached?
6- The red ball was actually something that started in my earlier movies. We had to make a short movie in class about a red ball rolling down a hill. I turned it into a dangerous weapon–it could make a person explode or knock people’s heads off. I guess the red ball has sort of become my signature.
7- *pies*
8- *fines for PoPoing*
We have observed helibunnies before, but I always assumed that they rotated each of their ears in sync with the other, rather than using them exactly like a helicopter’s rotors. Clearly, further research is needed.
For purposes of animation, however, I think IBCF has hit on a useful visual shorthand.
Oh, sorry for doubleposting, but veronica? You should visit the “Welcome Neophytes” thread.
Interesting. So the bunnies do have bodies. Sometimes.
Wow! Awesome movie!
IBCF.
THAT WAS SIMPLY AMAZING.
*pies*
That is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. *adds to to-do list: sent in photo of bunny print*
veronica- not everyone hates HPB’s i personaly like them, when they aren’t trying to eat/kill/bunnify me.
12, 13- Aye. I think the helibunnies look better that way.
15- They can actually get around easier without bodies, except they have to leave them in an easy-to-remember place.
16, 17, 18- Thank you! *eats pie*
I’ve nothing against HPBs. Actually they’re rather cute, when they’re not of the mordant, sadistic, head-biting variety that seems (sadly) dominant.
1 –
That was THE greatest thing I have ever seen. Put it on YouTube.
*pies*
Very good representation of bunny evilness. It’s a little too much like… wait, I forgot what it’s called! Dang. Well, it’s the movie where all the stick people die and there’s kamikaze watermelons and the word that makes a bomb go off, ziggyboogydoo. I’ve watched that movie so many times… Well, the stick people look like the stick people in that movie.
9- Wait, are you questioning yourself there? (Oh, and I would say that technically, a naturally-occuring hot pink bunny is about as likely as a bunny with rotating ears)
22- There’s only so much variety among stick people.
-8 *fines 500,000 choklits for PoPoing*
Who is the stick figure?
26- I’m not exactly sure…it could be my character from the Bunny Apocalypse thread.
22 – The Demented Cartoon Movie.
-20 WHAT? you LIKE HPBs? jeez, you must still be hypnotized from BA.
20- Yeah, come on Alice, you can’t get captured (and hypnotized) by those miscolored freaks and actually like them.
Ahh! The movie was scary!!!!!
How do you make a video like that?
30- Well, maybe I have some remnants of the hypnotism lingering in my brain.
I’m sure you do. WHO would openly state they like HPBs
34- I didn’t get that you were captializing “who” for emphasis and I thought at first that you meant the World Health Organization!
brilliant. absolutely brilliant
♥
TCF
35 – Well, it’s in the Muser’s way of thinking too hard about simple things,
32- Macromedia Flash Player MX 2004. Great program.
36- Thanks, TCF! Glad to hear you’re staying!
Part 2 is making good progress, now containing over 750 frames. It should be done by next week.
38- note that Macromedia is now an Adobe Product.
everything’s and adobe product.
I (sadly) have no idea whatsoever of how to make movies or videos, but (hopefully
) there will soon be a graphic on here that I have created for the bunny investigation process.
38 – Yaaay! These movies should be very informative…
39- Yes, but there are still some old sites with free trials. That’s what I’ve been using.
38- You’re doing another one? Wow, I gues videos are your “computer thing”. Games are mine. That reminds me, I was considering the possibility of a HPB game. Hmmm… *opens gamemaker program and gets to work*
HOW DO YOU MAKE THESE THINGS???
I really want to make one! I have a Windows Vista and no money!
44- go to MS Paint
Draw some slides
Import into the photo thing
Make a slideshow.
45 – What photo thing?
I’m dying for the sequel! I’m glad you’re making it!
47 – Hey, Bookworm, wipe 67 points away from that 64!
46- the vista photo thing. I forget what it’s called. I’m on Leopard right now.
I just did! However, I did manage to steal 30 in a different move. I also had 27!
Hey, I just took them back! You need to update it on a play-by-play basis!
I took them back back!
Well, I had a good point. Go check it out!
Paker is getting exciting!
hey…i can’t view it. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today was fantastic- last day of school, idyllic weather, I thought nothing could ruin it. Then, I saw the video. I am now worrying about the future of our country and twitching a lot.
*eagerly awaiting part two*
I have no movie-making or illustrating skills, but I am considering writing an HPB-themed novel for NaNoWriMo this year.
Right…
And what is happening on BA right now? I am terribly confused! The bunny thing is very exciting, though…
57-Lots of stuff…
post 54? GAPAs?
(59, 54) It’s a Shockwave Flash file, with extension “.swf”. You can probably find software to play it by looking up “SWF” on Wikipedia.
Coffee!
Coffee!
Coffee!
57- War. Never-ending war. We don’t even get a chance to rest. We escape the bunnies, run for safety, find something of importance, get attacked, and repeat. Right now we’re in the “get attacked” stage.
62- Very excitng, but scary. Ah well. I won’t have time for the RPG anyways…
Terrific film, the bunnies sure were adorable!
*reads over post* Help! I’ve been zombified. I used the word “adorable” in connection with the dreaded lagamorphs! You skilled lab technicians, sanitarian employees, lumberjacks, any one, HELP!
*Debunnifys Hypatia*
*sprays Hypatia with make-sure-they’re-not-a-goner spray*
*removes all traces of bunnification*
65- Be careful with what phrases you use. There is a distinct difference between zombification and bunnification.
Thank you for saving my humanity…And that spray sure has a lovely aroma… ; )
69- It does? *sprays self* Aaah…
70-It certainly does! A lovely citrusy tang, welcome after the stench of hot pink bunnies ; ) !
I’m afraid. I think somehow I am responsible for this… This appears to be turning into another Bunny Apocalypse thread. *hides*
I <3 the movie. *is inspired*
Another BA thread?!?!?!
Did anyone call the bunny adorable?!?!?!?
*hides*
72- This isn’t anything near the BA thread.
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=767#comments
Anyone caring to show me a picture of what the blog looked like that fateful day?
*Hides HPB robot behind back*
*Serafina comes up and gives me HPB-shaped pies*
“Thanks, Serafina!”
*hides robot and pies behind back*
Bunny Invasion movie #2 currently has 985 frames, which means it is only halfway done. Depending on how much homework I get this week, it may not be finished by the weekend (which is my goal)…
76- Sorry for the double post–it may or may not, I meant to say.
76- And the Bunny Invasion game I have been working on should be finished at about the same time. (I’ve finished the tough part) It’s a lot shorter than I wanted, but if I made it any bigger it wouldn’t be done for at least a month.
-72 hello penguini.
72 – Hey penguini! Long time no see!
We’re supposed to be discussing the origins and culture of HPB’s. Or anything else we’re wondering about them. This is all stuff that we know already.
78-What kind of game? Physical, or Computerized?
-80 yeah we havn’t see her or him for a while maybe s/he will come back from the old dark side of somewhere….which let’s not go into.
81- Computerized. And it may take longer than expected, I’m having problems with it. For example, when you move right, it’s all glitchy, but moving left works perfectly. *sigh* But I am going to complete it, even if it does have a few glitches.
83-Yay! Bunny Invasion Game!
72 – Hey! Long time no read!
Hmmm… Dang this game is giving me troubles. I guess we’ll have to deal with glitchy movements and junping up stairs, but I’ll put one issue to a poll: Right now it looks as though the only way to defeat a bunny is to jump on it, as opposed to throwing the red ball-thing like I had intended. Would anybody here care if you had to jump on top of your enemies? (The ball keeps giving me problems)
Okey-Dokey! When will it be released? Today? *Drools*
86 – It’s like Mario!
86- Release it! Now! I’ve got to see it!
86- Jumping is fine/fun.
89- You’ll enjoy it. It’s based entirely off your video. The stick figure even walks the same way.
And the actual game itself is (essentially) complete, I am creating the health/score and loading bars now.
91- what platform is it for?
91-YES!!!!!!!!!!
IBCF, that was awesomely terrifying!
TGYPWYA, you are making a game? You are my new best friend!
I feel computerly stupid. The only thing I can do is type the text of a webpage on Notepad and change the background colors.
91- *feels honored* *can’t wait for game*

I wonder if HPBs can dance.
I think that the Japanese could see where the bunnies-taking-over was headed, after all, they first saw the moon as bunny-invaded:
[Snip! –Admin.]
The bunny is stealing a brick out of a pot!
Raynpho has just sent us a startling contribution to lagormorphologic scholarship:
Dear GAPAs,
I was browsing the internet the other day, when lo and behold, I came across a photo of a bunny. A fairly cute one at that.
After just one quick glimpse, I suddenly realized I could not look away, for some strange reason.
The picture suddenly changed, revealing the bunny’s true nature, and horrified, I clicked the “backspace” button on my browser before the HBP could do any real damage.
However, I managed to quickly save the picture for identification purposes ONLY.
*Look at your own risk, please. Potentially harmful material, not recommended for those easily susceptible to shades of neon rose.*
-Raynpho from Museblog
WARNING!
If you see this bunny, do not try to apprehend it or engage it in conversation.
Seek shelter, and call the authorities only after you are sure you are safe.
It’s moving quicker! Run! Run for you Lifes!
Awwww….worship its cuteness……
*turns pink*
RARRRRRGHGHHHHH!!!!!!
Just kidding. I wear protective goggles for this thread.
GAAAHHH!!!!! GAME! GAME! MOVIE! MOVIE! *rants on*
AAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!! *runs*
After many hours of sweat, pain, and frustration about making overlapping zombies, the second bunny movie is finally complete. It will be sent in this afternoon.
YAY!
A new question that the sequel brings up: There is a conversation between two flying helibunnies. How do they hear properly when their ears are whirling like that?
103 – YAY! *happydances*
Overlapping zombies. Hm. That is actually a very cool phrase.
*gasp* My pet bunny…..is a black bunny! OH CAKE!
We keep him well away from weapons. The most dangerous thing he’s ever done is pee on the good rug. So I think we’re okay….
*turns around* OH CAKE AGAIN! *is attacked* *head falls on keyboard* afsoiuc;woi3u40w8[0uclcj lkeghoiwertfoiweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
*buni tak kebord* Mahawhahaa! Me win! I get yu al sumda!
I am in a very weird mood today. Sorry about that.
105 – I dunno. They just CAN hear. Duh.

105- helibunnies have a pair of very small ears next to there mouths.
107- That isn’t exactly scientific.
103- Darn, I was hoping to finish the game before you got your video done. Well, hopefully it should be done and sent in tonight.
105- Hmmm… in the game, their ears don’t actually move, so they haven’t told me. But maybe they haven’t told me because they can’t hear me properly. I can’t get the normal HPBs to shut up.
I’m making a bunny video. Rebecca, do you mind if I use some of your Random-Thread art?
VIDEO II!!!!!! GAME!!!!!!! When was the last time Raynpho was here? I hope she survived unscathed from seeing that bunny!
111- You are? What software are you using? Or are you just filming it?
(111) Permission granted.
113- I’m using Windows Movie Maker. I still have to figure out how to do sound, because I want background music.
114- Thank you!
115 – Oh! I know – knew – how to do that….
Nevermind. Somehow, you get the file into that big space you drag the images from, then you drag the file into the bottom bar at the bottom of the screen. I think.
97-WHY?!?!?!
I downloaded the appropriate music, but when I try to import it to Windows Movie Maker, I can’t find it. Help!
112- I’m around sometimes… mostly I just lurk
As far as I can tell, no harm was done, other than mild traumatization.
And yes, I’m fine
Ah, whatever. You’ll have to hum.
Sorry for the double post, I just saw IBCF’s video. Verry spiffy
I wish I had Flash. Much cooler than animation shop *is jealous*
It’s in! I think you’ll like it.
122-Ooh! Ooh!
I just found a note from William to the black bunny:
THE HUMANS HAVE MOVED TO MARINARAS TRENCH. GET THEM.109 – Why says randomness isn’t scientific?
Where are the movies?
125- the GAPAs are slow posting.
Is it going to be up soon?
My dad thought IBCF’s video was funny. He doesn’t understand the nonfictionness of it.
What happened to the second movie? You said you sent it in. GAPAs, do you have the movie but are too lazy to post it? So, for gosh sakes, POST IT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(128) Well, this lazy GAPA has been on the road all day dealing with flat tires in the middle of nowhere and similarly fun things and is now going to give unconsciousness a try.
In any case, I haven’t seen the video.
Grrr… game… problems… *sigh* I think the HPBs are messing up my game on purpose. I’ve made three versions, and none of them work.
However, I will keep trying. And it will now include elements from IBCF’s new video, provided it’s good. Is it good, IBCF?
129- As far as I know, it all worked as it was supposed to. It should be sitting in your inbox right now.
Sorry for the Inconvinience. I’ve encountered a few problems at home that I cannot explain here. The movie has been sent (twice actually), but I may not be able to visit the blog again for a very long time. Hope I’ll be able to see the game, TGYPWYA.
(131) It’s there now, along with some other MBers’ uploads-in-waiting. I don’t have time to handle them tonight, though; this GAPA, at least, is headed for bed.
132- Oh, good. So you’ll put it up tomorrow?
132- Oh! Not again.
The second time in less than a year.
135- Don’t worry, I’m free at the moment.
Almost ready, GAPAs?
muse is for nerds. this is boring
137 – Then GO if you dislike it so much!
137- As to your first point, of course it’s for nerds. Almost all of us here are nerds. And quite proud of it, too.
As to your second point, if it bores you, feel free to leave.
Manners, please. Suzy is our guest, after all. I think she might appreciate some pie while she’s still “questioning.”
140- I doubt it: she’s already expressed disdain for our customs without giving them a moment of consideration. A pie in the face would probably weird her out even more…
*pies Suzy*
That might be a good thing. I think it’s worth a try.
143- You may be right. *throws pies at Suzy*
*pies Suzy with nerd pies*
*pies Suzy* I’m terribly sorry you feel that way.
Suzy obviously has not met “Nerd and Proud of It”

Or, come to think of it, any of us, really.
Aagh! Suzy has infiltrated the Bunny Apocalypse thread! And she did’nt use double parantheses!!!!!
*pies Suzy*
140- is suzy related to you?
146- You’re a very sympathetic person, Alice.
150 – Yes, she is.
148- She didn’t know the rules. We can’t get angry with her on that count. We are justified, however, in taking exception to her insulting tone.
149- I doubt it. Our senior SCAMP shows admirably equal respect to all of our guests. Besides, one of them would have mentioned it.
People can appear rude for a number of reasons. Some possibilities might be: the fear they won’t fit in or won’t be noticed or they just don’t know what to say. They could just be having a bad day. Nerds and geeks are noted for many wonderful things; however, social skills are not always at the top of the list of
theirour accomplishments.You might be surprised how many now cherished MB regulars got off to rocky starts.
According to yesterday, it is tommorrow. May I ask when the movie(s) will be posted?
I think I’ll make something on this animation progam. Will start now.
Yes, admittedly, she doesn’t know the rules of double parentheses or anything. But she shouldn’t just waltz in and say that Muse is for nerds and this is boring. She should give this a chance.
153- I suppose I was a bit rude when I first came here, and perhaps a lot of other people were too. However, I didn’t dismiss the entire blog and its patrons out of hand. “What is wrong with this site?” “Muse is for nerds?” That’s kind of hurtful.
-137 yeah, it’s for cool people. if you don’t like it, no one’s forcing you to stay.
153- I was a bit rude a bit after i came here…
Ggghrrrrrr. *pies Suzy*
I think that she should just go. Does she even get the mag?
I don’t think I was rude! I’m sorry if I accidentally seemed rude to anyone.
MuseBlog is anything but boring. And we are (most of us) nerds.
I would make a video, but since it’s not my own idea, I would just end up copying IBCF’s ideas.
(/disjointedness)
IBCF- Where did you get the pictures of the bunnies?
I remember when I first came here, I loved it. I looked up to everyone who was here, and I really, really wanted to fit in.
Of course, I suppose I do now. But at least I was somewhat braced for the utter weirdness here.
Suzy, how did you find this if you don’t like Muse in the first place?
I think I was immature.
(157) I know it’s hard not to lash back when someone says something that feels hurtful — especially when one feels as protective as we do of MuseBlog. But one of the advantages of a blog is that we can cool off before we write.
In several of my early jobs I had to handle complaints from irate people, usually over the phone. Some of them would cuss me out and say some pretty dreadful things. But if I had ever lost my temper I would have lost my job, too. So I developed some skill in returning belligerence with sweetness. In almost every case the person backed down. One guy in particular, bent over backwards to be extra polite and considerate in all his later phone calls.
The failures stung, of course. Some people seem to need to be combative and rude. But they really are rare. I’d rather give people the benefit of the doubt until they’ve proved themselves incorrigible. And even then, I find that I feel better by not letting them draw me into their game.
/boring_GAPA_Lessons_from_Life
well, i think I was just excited. I had no idea how to even comment on a blog. (gasp!)
163 – I was, too! (I probably still am.) But, you know, at least I tried to be nice.
164- I’ve noticed that you (plural, referring to all the GAPAs- why doesn’t English have a proper plural “you?”) often close your rare serious posts with “/boring GAPA rant” or some such.
166-Right back atcha. (SEE?! I’m not lying!!!)
(167) You’ve found us out. (Not that I’m at all surprised.) We probably don’t do it so much on the even rarer truly serious posts, mostly on those we fear might sound too much like sermonettes or Tales from “When I was Your Age.” We all heard enough of those ourselves to be sensitive about foisting them on others. Perhaps too much so?
I’ve also taken a blood oath NEVER to say to any younger person whomsoever, “my how you’ve grown.”
(164) There are also times when being excruciatingly polite is the best revenge — especially when the recipient knows that en doesn’t deserve it.
On the other hand, (sounding painfully perky), I’m making a movie too! It’s painful. And terribly difficult.
170- But you have to have enough judgment not to be too polite and thus become obviously sarcastic.
That’s true. The effect of precisely calculated ambiguity is probably much easier to achieve on the Web than it is in person.
173- I would imagine so.
(173, 174) The trick, I think, is to find something you can express truthfully, thus you can be heartfelt and bypass any hint of irony.
It’s odd- in a few weeks of hanging out on the nerdiest forum in history, I learn more about social skills than I do in two solid years of middle school.
Well, of course. How on Earth could anybody learn social skills in middle school?
177- So it’s not just me?
It’s true, most middle schoolers display absolutely no social skills whatsoever.
We’re getting really off topic, but at least it’s not totally random.
(177) Agreed. With apologies to Wordsworth: some forms of social skills result from the overflow of powerful feelings from middle school recollected in tranquility.
By the way, will you post my movie? I’m eager to see what other people think of it.
176- How is that odd?
~~~
I made a movie too!
Interesting… I’ve never seen a moderated comment between two unmoderated ones before.
(180) I have to get home to my faster Internet connection. I keep trying to leave here and get some dinner…and then someone says something interesting….
I know if I’d gone straight to school without MB to provide some sort of transition, I’d probably be a gibbering wreck by now.
But that’s less about social skills and more about culture shock.
180- Yes, I’d like to see the movies!
183- *drools* Huh? Oh, sorry, just trying to be as dull as possible.
(185) *falls off chair laughing*
Well, you’re doing a very poor job of it.
*shuts up* *waits patiently*
Geez, how many movies are we going to make? I’d make one too, but I’m doing the game. And intend to remain doing so. I’ve ventured into the realms of movies, but I just can’t get the hang of it. I’m sticking with my computer skills- Music and Games.
176, 184 – Agreed.
Oh, yes, dull. Dull dull dull dull dull dull dull dull dull SHAKESPEARE dull dull dull dull dull dull dull ICE CREAM dull dull dull dull dull dull dull dull TALLSHIPS dull dull dull dull dull…
185-
POSOC, you really remind me of Freddy (The pig)
191- I have nothing but the deepest admiration for that poetic porcine, so I’ll take it as a compliment, whether or not it was so intended.
(Horrible Ten)
192-
That’s a scary thought.
193- HPBs+knives+Freddy’s poetry=NOT GOOOOOOD
I know I can’t post links, but go to YouTube and look up “veggie tales bunny song” and watch it. *is scared* It’s a bunny-worshipping (or -eating, I can’t tell) but some of them are PINK.
It’s kind of interesting how off-topic this has gotten, just because of Suzy. Not that it’s a bad thing.
I made a(n?) HBP from sculpey today. It’s terrifyingly beautiful.
Grammar question: A HBP, or AN HBP?
An HPB.
a.
196- Neither- it’s HPB
It depends on what you’d say if you were talking- an HPB if you pronounce the letters, a HPB if you’re just using it as shorthand for saying “Hot Pink Bunny.”
(178, 196) We’re not that far off topic, actually, as I’m considering a new theory on the origins of HPBs as disaffected middle schoolers….
And then there’s comment 190:
In which Alice succeeds in being nearly as dull as POSOC in comment
183185.I’m back! Are the movies here yet? If not, soon? *excited*
200- I think you mean #185. #183 was your post.
200- What, do they conduct some secret and terrible rite behind the cafeteria? Prepare for intercision via garbage can?
199- That makes sense
I would try to be dull, but it would fail terribly. I can only be dull when I’m trying not to.
*mutely sits in corner*
Dull?
203- *shudders at thought*
200,203- *trembles*
Actually I’ve never been to middle school. Is it really bad?
206- It depends on your point of view, I guess.
206- 80
206- Yes. It’s terrible. Horrible. Evil. Death.
208- Is that shock that I’ve never been there, shock that I would ask such a question, or merely the only adequate way of expressing your feelings towards middle school?
209- Oh. OK.
Worse than high school?
211- I should think not. Not that I would know, I’m going to high school this coming fall.
Middle school was actually okay. Except for sixth grade, because for 4th and 5th I was in private schools and didn’t know anyone and was all shy. And last November, which I won’t even go into here. But all in all, pretty good.
I think the HPBs possessed the 7th grader cheerleader clique and that’s why they wear so much pink and are so annoying and mean.
210- All three. I don’t know if it’s worse than high school because I’m not in high school yet.
206 – It stinks if you meet all the wrong people and let yourself get annoyed by them.
As I did.
214- It is. High school is much better.
This is a very strage thread. we’ve gotten 76 posts in the last 5 hours.
213- Pleh. Seventh graders. *dislike*
Not to mean all 7th graders are bad. No, it’s only the ones who think they’re great because they’ve gotten through 6th grade and therefore are rulers of the world, as well as much more mature than aforementioned world.
Then again, this could be people from other grades. Or any age for that matter.
… steryotype dispelled.
217- Heh, I didn’t notice.
Isn’t that since we got off-topic?
216 – Really? *feels better*
I honestly think I have no bias against any grade.
-106 I never did MS either…
Come on come on come on I gotta see the movie movie movie! *hyperventilates*
Click here for the second installment of IBCF’s HPB movie.
223- Heehee.
Cool!
The small red ball makes me cry out in delirious joy.
‘Nuff said.
222- IBCF! Your a Great Animator! Your doing this is school, Right? I hope you get an A+!
Wow! I’m already longing for Part 3! Great Job!
Ugh! The second part is out and i cant see it either!
Is there any way to convert the .swf file into .wav?
Thanks, guys.
229- Did you take Robert’s advice on post #60?
226 – Is that a ball or an apple? I couldn’t tell.
Great movie!!!
Now, how to figure out how to use Windows Movie Maker. I know how to use iMovie, but…
232- It’s a ball.
233 – Okay.
This is an improvement on the first one!
“You’re gonna die out there, dude…” *bunny pops up*
235 – Yes, it is.
Coincidentally, you used the same font for the bunnies’ speech that I did, but I did NOT steal it from you, IBCF. Just saying.
Awesome! I love it!
And here, at last, is the image NAPOI found of the Japanese conception of the rabbit in the moon (97):
238-Ooh! Yay!
Now, in quick succession, POSOC has sent in his bunny video. He adds this note:
For the one image you can’t read, the one after “…devouring the occasional reference to the relative superiority of cats or dogs…” the text is “But in later years they grew more aggressive and even became actively malevolent…”
240- I think you forgot something…
Just needed a little tweaking. It works for me now.
242- Ah. Thank you!
Nice video, POSOC!
244- Glad you liked it. Did it accurately represent events?
AH! How do I open it?
Dang it! I don’t have Windows Media Video!
Wow, I just went from laughing and happy to childish frustration in the course of a few minutes. I’m just really miserable that the kokonvention fell through, and now the file won’t open.
I’m going to bed. Maybe things’ll be a little better tomorrow.
Maybe.
Well done!
*happy*
Well, maybe a bit amusing.
Okay, it was very serious.
Does anyone know how to open it on a Mac?
IBCF- I liked most the way the Muser ran when he was chased by the helibunnies. It was really awesome and nothing I could do myself. Congragulations! You win one of our faboulous prizes! A pie in the face!
Do you lurk on Bunny Apocolaypse? I can get you in, somehow… but overall, FANTASTIC!!! You also win one of our fabulous prizes! Another pie in the face!
You both deserve it!
POSOC-
Ergh. Can I really only play it by downloading something else entirely? Duvv! My computer has, like, no memory. This’ll kill it. Of course, I could download the thing, play the movie, and then delete the download.
Qaadrekth.
POSOC’s video pauses in the middle for me. I hope I can somehow see the rest! It’s great!
253- Museblog has such colorful expletives. Wung buttons, kimm, skrelch, duvv, cake, qaadrekth…
It’s a pity you can’t see the video. I’m sorry, I have no advice. I only got through making and sending it with some advice from Rebecca Lasley.
255 – Not so much colorful as creative. I said “cake” once at school when I dropped something and everyone who heard me gave me a funny look.
I loved POSOC’s video! It was awesomeness.
And i still haven’t seen IBCF’s!
Is there ANYONE here who knows about converting files to different formats?
Alice – you can get WMV for Macs (I have it). It must be a free download somewhere, though I’m not sure how you get it.
Great job, POSOC!
258- If you can somehow save it to your computer, google “media convert” and click the first one. I think I’ve used that one for making .flv’s into .wmv’s.
Not quite sure if it’ll work for this, but give it a try
260 – I’ve used the second one on that list. It seems to work pretty well.
261- Hm, I’ve never tried that one. I shall sometime. The first one works fairly well, but its page is loaded with a lot more ads. Yours looks easier to navigate too.
260-Thnx!
If you haven’t been able to access POSOC’s video, try this:
Great videos! And I have news regarding the game. I’m completely revamping the game, and I will release a preview soon. (Hopefully tomorrow or Saturday)
Oh, that’s great, POSOC! And, um, terrifying.
if some deranged mind decided to create a hot pink bunny, they could do it naturally, without any splicing.
you know why flamingos are pink?
they eat pink food.
you start with an arctic hare, which are white, an easy color to work with and change, and then you feed it food that you dyed pink.
this will naturally change them pink.
I call it Operation Pink Flamingo HPB-14 #1
Muah-ha-ha…
Hee-Hee!
ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-heh-hee-hee-heh haaaaw-ha
*hack, groan*
*choke*
*gargle*
*hack, hAcK*
HA!
267- Wouldn’t work. HPBs are intelligent. And they’re just heads. No bodies involved.
223 – More! More!
240 – Also awesome!
Is the game going to be released soon as well?
268- Not necessarily…they all have bodies, but they often get rid of them through intercission.
269- I’m working on it. Bunny Invasion #3, “Afraid of the Dark”, currently has 695 frames. (1/3 of the way done!)
269- The entire game isn’t going to be done for a while, I’m making some serious upgrades. But I’m going to send in one of the levels, which should be done shortly. Expect the preview by Saturday.
270- Afraid of the Dark… creeeeeepy! But cool! (Is it going to end with “to be continued” too?) When do you expect to finish?
271- I’m not sure when it will end. Maybe it won’t.
272- One question- Should the helibunnies in the game be like the ones from the first video or the second?
252 – He doesn’t just lurk, he has two characters. He just hasn’t been very active lately. But a lot of us have just entered the Trench Base, so that could change.
273- Second. Those ones are better.
274- Two? Oh, yeah, you’re counting Wyatt. You should probably count O’Connell as well, then.
Bunny Invasion #3–803 frames, about 997 to go. It’s getting late though, I should probably go to bed…
Such a good video, IBCF!
Nice job, POSOC! That was awesome, but …….rather terrifying.
And IBCF, that was also awesome! I think that guy has natural bunny resilience.
helibunnies: *chase*
Muser: *runs through door*
helibunnies:*wham* Ow.
I love it!
279- Martial arts skills, certainly. He pwned three bunnies in the first scene, unarmed.
280- I love that bit.
Thank you, Turquoise!
How are you progressing on your game, TGYPWYA?
281- To do that, one must usually undergo several years of arduous training in a secret Nepalese shrine under an old man in orange robes who keeps calling you a member of the superorder Caelifera.
The bunnies would do well to heed Rule One: “Do not act incautiously when confronting a little bald wrinkly smiling man!!”
282- The preview for the game is working beautifully, I am sending it to the GAPAs now. And I’ve got the entire game laid out, but your new video will be done first. That much I can promise you.
In the second movie, IBCF, right after the bunnies put him under arrest, I thought was going to say “No.”
-284 great! send it to the GAPAs!
Bunnies: “You are under arrest!”
: “Stop him!”
IBCF: “Oh yeah?” *takes out three bunnies*
Bunnies
IBCF: “Ha, my red destroyer of bunnies!” *laughs* *blasts bunnies*
Oh amazing all-powerful adminstrators dudes, will the preview be up by tomorrow?
287- Preview? Goody!
My dad was watching over my shoulder and getting confused, but he thought that the helibunnies’ ears worked really well.
s! He tried to bite me for petting him!
I got attacked by a bunny today! Not a pink one, an adorable brown and white one. But he’s in league with the
287- I’ve sent it in (It’s a good thing I checked it one last time before doing so because I spotted a glitch) so now it’s up to them.
290- I must see it! And play it!
291- Same here!
I like
I’m scared of
Me too! Must…Play…Game…
hurry up posting it, GAPAs! *gives puppy dog eyes*
Puh-leese, GAPAs, we wanna see it!!!
…But the silence remained.
And kept remaining for a loooong time. *coughcoughwewannaseethegamecoughcough*
You can almost hear the crickets chirping.
And the bullfrogs croaking. a- HEM!
And a pin just dropped.
To pass a bit of time: what’s the most smashing* outfit you can imagine a HPB in?
*(smashing, as in liable to make your brain implode at first glance)
(290-300) I’m trying! The file is too big for me to upload by
FTP. I’ll have to try something else, after work.302- Would macromedia flash player work? Or do I have no idea what I’m talking about?
Wait wait wait–FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. So I didn’t know what I was talking about. *feels stupid*
301- Anything that goes with their eyes.
301 – Umm….a psychadelic floral print toga! And a Mickey Mouse hat!
They don’t need costumes though. Just looking at one in normal clothes (do they wear clothes?) would make my brain implode anyway.
305- Yes, another dillema, what color are their eyes? >.<
… Would a tuxedo work? Plum-colored.
302- Hmmm, I thought there might be a problem, but size wasn’t one of the problems I expected. I mean, it’s big, but it was small enough for me to email in.
303- I wish. I’ve tried downloading Flash player multiple times to no avail. (It’s the program of choice for game makers) It just won’t download.
307- Their eyes are whirling and multicolored.
302-Noooo! *Dies of Impatience*
301- A Pair of Binoculars.
309- I see.
Would black work as well?
you can hear crickets chirping.
aaahhh, forgot to end the HTML…
309- like that thing you get on a mac when a program freezes?
All right, Grasshoppers: Here’s TGYPWYA’s bunny game. Because of the way I had to upload it (via Macintosh), I haven’t been able to check it for suspicious stuff or see whether it works, so activate it at your own risk.
316- Great! And don’t worry, there’s nothing bad, I checked everything multiple times. And it seems to work. I just opened it. (But only long enough to make sure it works) And I’ll try to make the final game a bit easier on you and your computer.
Who wants to keep track of high scores? (I won’t include mine since I know how to beat it)
Cool! I won! That was really impressive. Yoyo Games…I’ll have to try it out.
316- Crud. It’s an .EXE.
Well, Roseanna won’t be able to play it. nor Should Robert (Don’t play Games at work!). A lot of people won’t play it.
Nice! I won… I’m not sure how. I typed in something random.
315- Yes. Only more sparkly.
I seem to recall not being able to open .exe files, and my dear compy says it needs an “external application.” Help?
Well, ever since my parents gave me my own account one the laptop (which I am on), I CAN’T DOWNLOAD THE BEEPIN’ GAME!!!!*puff puff* Cakin’ “parental control”…*mutters incoherently about unfairness of parents*
321- Macs can not open EXE files with out having windows on them.
323- Oh. Lovely.
Not.
Goodbye.
316- Yahoo! I played it! And I won! *feels happy*
Great game, TGYPWYA! I’ll have to find a way to incorporate the helicopter…Maybe bunny invasion #4…
You know, after I beat the game, I noticed my computer is acting up. It’s been slow. As in the cursor moves, but I can’t interact with the buttons.
Drat. I shall have to fix that.
324- Yeah, it’s only compatible with Windows, that’s why I’m trying to switch to Flash. (Flash won’t download onto my computer)
I can’t open it! I’m on Mac OS X. Any ideas?
328- Find a Windows PC. thats the only way to open it.
Well, I have a Windows 2000 computer, but it loads and then says something about needing more space on the graphics card, so please switch your computer to a lower resolution. Ghghhrhrhrh.. It sounds awesome though. I’ll ask my dad the computer guy when he gets home.
327- Do you know why it’s not downloading? I may be able to help you.
331- No idea. Whenever I download it, everything works fine and it shows the video saying it downloaded and installed, but it clearly didn’t.
-332 Your game R-O-X soooo much, TGYPWYA! I actually got the highest score, 800.
sorry for the double post but…I WON!
333- 800? My highest score is… *checks*… 4750. But of course, I made it, so that’s to be expected.
Hehheheh. I downloaded it on the computer that does’nt restrict me from downloading, and I played it there.
335- My high is 1875
Nothing on yours, though, of course.
332- Where are you downloading it from?
This is horribly unfair. I want to play this game! Why must so many people use Windows? Why does there even have to be a difference between the software?
Maybe because the didn’t get a good night’s sleep while creating it?
339-Ditto.
338- Tha Adobe website. I’ve tried other places, but they’re all just links to the Adobe site.
339- I know, it sucks. That’s why I’m trying to switch to Flash, because as far as I know, it works with everything.
My high score is 2250.
HOT PINK BUNNIES
To the tune of “Cruella De Vilâ€
Hot pink bunnies,
Hot pink bunnies,
if they don’t scare you, no evil thing will.
To see one is to take a sudden chill.
Hot pink, hot pink…
They’re like some spiders waiting for the kill.
The devils, hot pink bunnies.
At first you think those bunnies are devils,
but after time has worn away that,
you come to realize
they’re actually
much worse than that!
These vampire bats,
These insane beasts,
They oughta be locked up,
and never released.
The world was such a wholesome place until
hot pink, hot pink bunnies.
*This may not be accurate and very smooth, but I wanted it to rhyme. This should have gone on poems and songs, but you need to see this
NICE, Zinc!!
I wasn’t counting scores-I was trying to survive!
Yes, I finally made it work! Yay!
344 – Nice!
*is using too many !s today *
Tankyu! Another example of MuserHumor, which, if you think about it, isn’t that funny at all. But- WHO CARES?!!!?? I sure don’t.
My highscore is……
3575!
MuserHumor is actually quite funny, but not to non-Musers. Which, if you think about it, actually makes sense.
Hello. I am From IWAS. I am interested in Hot Pink Bunnies and Wungs. We have reson to belive that HPBs hate wungs.
342- You have to get an account. And even then, I’m not sure. I can’t seem to get anything but the latest flash versions on Adobe. I found a trial version on an ancient web site that nobody else could ever find. I don’t even remember. You might try getting a yahoo! account answers account and specifically stating that you want a free trial of macromedia flash player MX 2004 (that’s important, just about every website gives you an older version, even when they say they’re giving you 2004). I can’t help you much more than that.
349- Why do you think HPBs hate wungs?
Becuase they fly without wings and eat flesh——HUMAN flesh…
350- many resons. manly, The wung thread was closed after the bunny invasion of ’07. The wung thread was still active, but it statd close after the invastion.
351 – Whaaa? You mean the wungs or the HPBs? Because wungs do NOT eat human flesh.
350- I managed to downoad a trial for an older version of Flash, but I’m gonna try that.
I like wungs. ♥
Wait…the game is done?
356- Naw, that was a preview. We need a new thread.
NAPOI sent us a collection of HPB-related materials that were too big to fit on the blog, so they’ve been set up as Google documents.
Bunnification
Bunny Planet
More Bunny Lore
The last link doesn’t work, but other than that, nice job!
(359) Does it work now?
They all worked.
That was ….horrific, yet awesome! Nice job!
Cool! That reminds me… I saw a Brown Bunny a couple of days ago, but I was out of there before i could find out where it’s allegiances lay.
358-You posted it!
*dies*
But it is very horrific.
And, can we have a new thread?
My high score on the bunny game is now 4600.
Whoops! Typo in second paragraph! It’s supposed to be LBBs, not LGBs.
New record: 4725.
Mine is 2750. On my second try.
4525! I rock!
264-Is there any way that you could do that to IBCF’s videos?
366, 367, 368-What ARE you talking about?
370- TGYPWYA’s bunny game.
Mine’s up to 49-something. I beat TGYPWYA!
Nice comics! But physical bunnification (done directly by the bunnies) is pretty much the same as bunnification by proxy (chair, hat, etc.) All that happens is that the pink pigment gets injected into the victim, turning him or her pink and altering the victim’s DNA. Both of them require separate surgery to give the victim ears and such. Sometime I’ll look up the post that established that.
371-Where?
372- When I saw that, I decided to cheat by making it possible to fire a continuous stream of bullets, then getting some score in the 6000s and making everybody look bad. But, believe it or not, I only got 4875! You still beat me! That makes you either an awesome gamer, or an extremely lucky person!
I’ve been pathetic in the past few days…my score was only 37,50!
375- I’m not good at gaming, it’s just that there’s a trick to getting a really high score. Which I won’t tell.
I got 3975 just now, seeing as I won for the first time.
And then I got 4000-something, but accidently closed out of the game while the credits were rolling.
377 –
5175!!!!
379 – No fair! How do you do that?!?!
377- I think I know your trick. I won’t reveal it, though. Let’s let everyone else suffer while they try to figure it out.
I can’t exactly figure it out when I can’t even open the game.
Hm. I have a trick, but I don’t think it’s yours because it only works earlier in the game and to get that high a score, it would need to work the whole time. *goes to retest*
MY COUSIN GOT THE WII GAME MYSIMS AND SHE BUILT A HOUSE AND SHE PUT HPBS AS LAWN DECORATIONS. THEY RADIATED CUTENESS. NO JOKE.
MUST… FIND… OUT… WHY… HPBS… ARE… TAKING… OVER… EA (THE COMPANY MAKING THE THING)…
384- Uh oh, that’s not good.
385 – I know. I basically ran away screaming.
Eep!
At Space Camp, I noticed something very familiar in an old picture of a German missile base. Asking the councilors for more information, I learned of the incident that I related on the SSSS thread.
Okay, let’s vote: I can either finish the game in the program I used last time, so if you couldn’t load the preview, you won’t be able to play the game. Or I can use flash, which should work for everybody, but it will take much longer to make, since I’ll have to learn how.
So… What will it be?
389- FLASH.
hmmm…the best trick to winning the bunny game is to get on top and stay on top. Shooting.
-389 just create the game in Game Maker, please. It’s a whole lot easier to use than a bunch of other Game programs i can think of.
392- But some of us can’t play it, you know.
389- You’ve been able to get flash? Which version?
389-Please use Flash! I really want to play!
We have two votes Flash, one vote Gamemaker. First to five wins.
394- Macromedia Flash 8 Pro Trial Version.
396- Oh. I like version 7 better…
As for my vote–it depends. How far are you with the game on gamemaker? If you’re almost done, you should probably do gamemaker. If it will take you a long time, you might as well use flash.
May we have a new thread?
384 – They what?!?! Okay, that’s baaad. We’ll need to hack EA and destroy the bunnies that have obviously infiltrated them.
399 – I know!!!!!
