NOTE: Some of the signatures needed tweaking for technical reasons, mostly so the names would show up when printed. In most cases the modifications were minor, simply a thickening of letters, but a (very) few required more invasive surgery. If yours is one of those and you’re not happy with the result, please let us know. We’ll see what can be done.

My personal favorite is a tie between Tessaract and ZVX. But al the sigs are flamablamablous. everyone’s besides mine, of course, which I don’t like. I threw it together in a minute, so it’s not very good.

23- It just looks so- WordArt-y. It doesn’t look like good graphics, and it doesn’t look handmade. And the heart is lopsided.
(24) The graphics elements are fine, really. (And yours isn’t the only Word Art signature, by the way.) The contrast with the background could be a little sharper, so the name would show up more.
I like the heart shape, especially in its new location. I’ve been moving names around to ease the crowding in a few areas, and now yours fits quite nicely in a spot more or less where Zinc’s is now. I’ll post the revision after I get home.

(31, 32) Yes, I did some rearranging to relieve crowding in a couple of areas. As tightly packed as they are, if I moved one, I usually had to move several.
Zinc, I believe yours actually shows up better in its new spot, especially with the yellow in yours balanced against the yellow in Kokonilly’s. I also liked putting Cinnamoon next to your moon.

Kagcomix, how would you feel if I trimmed the blue border of your signature into sort of a cloud shape, something like this:
If you don’t like it, that’s fine. Just an idea that crossed my mind. (Ignore those faint blue lines. They’re not in the actual graphic.)
Actually, I had been thinking of that myself when I hastily whiped it up, but I found it hard to do. I love the idea. Go right ahead. It will fit in more with the reast of the signatures. (I admit that with a rectangular shape it is kind of awkward). you have my permission.

It looks great! I was wondering how mine would fit in, but it slides in (almost literally) quite nicely! The whole thing looks just like MB- cool and chaotic!

By the way, I’m putting the finishing touches on an alternate version for printing on dark or black backgrounds. It will be the same, except I have to make adjustments in order for dark signatures to show up. It looks pretty cool, almost like the image is under a black light.

I think it’s fine as it is, and I probably won’t get any dark-colored merchandise anyway, but my signature was designed to be bold and black. Is there any way the THF signature could be… not so light? Or perhaps just not such a pastel-ish tint and more of a good solid naturally-light color. I dunno.

(67) THF, sorry, I was afraid you wouldn’t like yours, but I wasn’t sure what approach to take. At first I tried to silhouette the dark letters against a light background, but that didn’t look good at all. The color was sampled from the decorative elements in your design. Since that didn’t show up very well, I lightened it, partly to contrast it with the surrounding signatures and partly because I hoped you’d find it less offensive than the neon-bright colors.
I can certainly change it to a color you prefer. But I’m afraid I don’t understand what you mean by “good solid naturally-light color.” A light color by definition is a tint, except for white.
The new version looks great. When the next one comes out, I should probably change my sig though…

74 – I meant “light” as in “contrasts with black,” and “tint” as “white-with-a-dab-of-color”—I basically just meant a bolder color. And it really is fine. Sorry.

I set the dark colored one as my desktop background (and tiled it, as centered/fit to screen/fill screen/stretch to fill screen didn’t quite look right). I think it looks pretty darn sweet-it’s one of the best desktop backgrounds I’ve had (and with several of the previous random thread pics to compare to, as well as numerous–very numerous–HP desktop background pics to compare to, that’s saying someting).
It is absolutely flamablamablous. and now I’m going to bed, as it is way too late to be up, especially if I want to get up at a decent hour tomorrow, and especially if I want to be able to go to bed at a decent hour tomorrow……heh, shouldn’t have stayed up until three last night (and definitely shouldn’t ahve slept until 1:45 today)…….That’s my new record for the latest I’ve ever slept in, I think. It used to be 1 o’clock, also a record I set here at college, although I’d come pretty dang close to that on occasion at home (but usually dad would kick me out of bed before then).

I like the signatures on both the white and the black backgrounds. although the black makes it very aparent that the main colours used in people’s signatures are pintk and blue. I wonder why?

Well, I rather like what you did with mine for the dark backgrounds, if it counts for anything.
