How about we have a Fashion & Style thread? And a Science Fiction thread? And a thread for the Council of the MuseBlog, whose motto is uncreated as of yet. And a Rock, Punk, and Ska thread.
That should do us. Also, some additions to the HG2MB are in order.

It is dark. I should probably turn the light on. Or just continue with my obscene amount of typos. Fortunately the backspace is easy to find, because it’s stuck. As is the spacebar. And, sad to say, i’ve used this comp so much that i now pound furiously on other keyboards, wondering why the spacebar/backspace key is so unresponsive to my light touches.
I’m rather wordy today. Must be my half-asleep, dreamlike state. I’m not sure why i’m in a dreamlike state, it being only 10 plus the fact that i actually slept last night for the first time in…oh…i’d say about 9 or 10 months. Mebbe it’s because the light is off. Yet another incentive for me to get up and turn it on. And yet my happy fanny continues sitting obstinately in its quite comfortable seat. (You can thank my uncle for the phrase “happy fanny”) I’m such a lazy bum. Dear, dear. Such a shame. Ah well.
Oh yeah, seeing as my laziness has by now extended into an absolute refusal to even hit submit and find a thread more worthy of my off-topic raptures, the history grades are up. 97%. That one, however, i’m not actually surprised about. I expected as much or possibly slightly lower. But not much.
Science was a windfall though. I seriously didn’t study at all. I would’ve been totally freaked out the morning of if i gave a hoot for science class at all. This’ll go well helping pass over my less auspicious B on the math.
The thing about math is it’s all a waste of time. Absolute waste of time. You know the formulas, you know how to do the problem and whatnot, but you have to take the time to double-check everything. Unless you are an absolute mathematical genius, which i am not. Btw, is it mathematical or mathmatical? I think it’s supposed to be mathmatical, but i like the extra e. So there it stays. As i was saying, the result of my non-mathematical-genius state is that i have to double-check everything. Which i am not fond of doing. In fact, i abhor it. Despise it with a bitter passion is the point i’m trying to get across here. So what is the relevance to the topic at hand? None whatsoever. I mentioned that already. No relevance to the thread at all. As for the post, that’s a lost cause. I challenge you to find a topic to this post, in fact, a free box of virtual choklit to anyone who can in such a way that will satisfy me.
Well, i should probably go stay up all night reading now, having missed this opportunity last night due to actually wanting some sleep for a change. (Why, i can’t imagine. Note sarcasm please, i’d hate for it to go to waste, especially at 10:30 at night when you have an extremely bored teenager on your hands.) Night all. Eat your weetabix in the morning!

It was a sleepy day in the town of Badgersville. A young girl sat in class, pondering the theory of evolution, and thinking about the guy she liked. Thinking about two things at once was a special talent of hers.
Looking up, she read the whiteboard just for the heck of it. “BOCES. Mrs. Steet. MATH. 6 grade: worksheet even. 7th grade: Pg. 17 in book. 8th grade: worksheet all”. Emelia of course wasn’t doing Pg. 17. Rather, she was thinking: “How did Hyraxes evolve?” and “Hes so charismatic”.
The bell rang. It was time to get out of school. She was still thinking about Hyraxes.
Then, she saw Bobby, the school evangelical Christian. She and her crush Mike were jewish, but this was one mean kid. He was constantly preaching to Mike and Emelia about beliveing in Jesus. He also protested whenever they talked about Evolution in science.
Bobby was carrying a pie. “Hey, Evolutionist” he said, holding the pie up. “Eat this”. And with that, he splatted Emelia with with pie. Emelia took the pie and splatted him back. All the other students found pies, and started chucking them at Bobby. Excpet a select few, Bobbys followers, who splatted pies on the people throwing pies at Bobby.

I can’t type one because I think it would mess up my post, but it is shown under the comment box where it says “Some HTML allowed:” After the pointy and i thing you type whatever you want italisized. When you’re done, you put another pointy and i except you put a / before the i and after the first pointy. I hope that helps.

84-Y’know, your perpetual misspelling of rosanne’s name kinda gives you away…You missed the “too” too. “too” that is, not “to”. And lack of punctuation. Especially after “What agreat idea A Djinn”
Not being picky. But the GAPA are, and in impersonating them you have to be very grammatically correct.
Very true. And as a picky GAPA, I can’t refrain from pointing out that the word is “Djinn,” with one syllable. It’s from Arabic, which uses a different alphabet. I suspect the “d” is there because “j” alone is ambiguous in many languages. (Spanish speakers would read it as an “h” sound, whereas French speakers would read it as the “zh” sound in jour or jolie.) “Dj” makes it clear that the sound really is an English- (and Arabic-) style J.
The plural in Arabic, by the way, is Adjan, with the accent on the second syllable: a-JAN.Whoops! See below.

The link SM posted was to the orphan story, which, while very nice, is not what I was talking about. Hmm… I must be convincing… Essay time!
We need a Part 3 for the original RRR because it’s so [censored]-ing awesome. I (and presumably the others) had a lot of fun writing on it, and we were finally getting somewhere with it. Then it vanished off the front page, and the orphan story started, and our luverly RRR sort of died. A Part 3 would draw new bloggers to the story, some of whom (hopefully) can write well. I’ll post the story so far (which I’ve been editing a bit, but not too much) on any new thread that is created so that newcomers can see what’s going on. If the don’t want to read all sixty-odd pages (that’s how long it is double spaced), somebody better at summaries than I could post one of those. But the actual story is much better. A lot of us put a lot of effort into it, and I personally think it’s turning out pretty well. A Part 3 to the original RRR would make me feel happy and sparkly inside. Please make one. Prease?

One of the GAPAs posts a word (just one word) and then another one of us posts a word that seems to fit in well with the first word.
Hey, here’s a thought, try not to look at the other posts, before you post your own word.
That way, the story will be exciting.

Writing thread again? I have this little surreal-ish piece that I’d really like critiqued by other Musebloggers before I send it off to a writing contest. And if Phoenix ever decides to grace us with her presence once again, I want to poke her until she shows up in that thread so I can read some more of her writing. (It’s good.)

I just read the “farewell Montgomerygurl” thread. It was really sobering. If you don’t want to faint when you read my suggestion, go there(under museblog business) and you’ll understand. GAPAs, I know this will sound radical, and I will probably regret it later, so I have to say it while MG’s parting words are still echoing in my head.

I still think that the New New Muses thread would be interesting. Also, a “Nautical Pie Wars” thread for the adventures of Captain Otzi, FantasyFan and myself, and our respective crews.
A good title for the nautical pie thread would be “Lurking nautical Museicans of Pies” or “LMNOP” for short.

The “Rebuilding Civilization” thread has wasted away since it scrolled off the main page. That’s probably because civilization has been rebuilt. We now need a thrtead thaed trere treadsh jd;;juhytyhyw grrrrr… THREAD! (phew) for current events in Museica, the most interesting of which is the battle between pierates and navy. Of course, there’s also Pie War Tournaments and Pie Barbarian raids.
