    September 3rd:

    I’m saved! The captain of the good ship “Sweet Tiramisu” has agreed to take me aboard. Henceforth I will serve as a loyal member of the crew. After downing two glasses of extra-sweet pie rum in rapid succession I feel refreshed and ready to sail. I wonder what strange new sights of the high seas are in store for we bold adventurers?

    September 3rd:
    I ought to save paper, but I feel I must keep writing or I will find myself entirely without activity and thus without hope.
    I set out a month or more ago on a noble ship manned by the finest adventurers of Museica available for hire at the time. We were sent to seek distant lands and bring back what information (and treasure to fund the new civilization) we could. Our sponsors in Museica filled our ship with all kinds of supplies of the highest quality and a well-stocked treasury so that we would be able to give gifts and barter in the new lands, hopefully winning their peoples’ favor.
    We soon found ourselves pursued by pirates. They were led by the notorious Blackberrybeard, who, running low on supplies after recent defeats, came seeking our provisions. Our ship was swift and we managed to lose our foes for most of the way, but when the pirates caught up to us at last there were too many of them to fight off. Our ship was burned, our provisions stolen, and our crew taken prisoner, forced to serve Blackberrybeard or die.
    I alone, the mere cabin girl, managed to slip away unnoticed. Making sure Blackberry wouldn’t come back for me, I stayed out of sight, climbing aboard the largest plank from our wrecked ship (Blackberrybeard destroyed the ship, the only thing for which he had no use) I could find once the pirate ship was a safe distance away.
    That is where I am now. I have managed to survive on rainwater, the contents of an abandoned keg of pie rum, and whatever food I can find, mostly edible seaweed, a peculiar plant. Most species taste like lettuce, but occasionally I’ve found crunchier leaves that taste vaguely like croutons. Now the flavor has changed, but I can’t quite place the taste. Does this mean I’ve drifted beyond even the distant Caesar Archipelago?
    It’s getting colder. It’s a good thing I salvaged this nice, craunched-marmouset-fur coat. This makes me think back to Museica and wonder how things are going there. I had made it known that I was interested in assuming the responsibilities of a V-PM if a position became available, but without my ship’s communication devices there is no way for me to find out whether I did become a V-PM or not. If I am saved I must find a way to contact Museica from the new ship.
    I could use a pie right now. How long has it been since I’ve had one? I don’t know how much longer I can survive like this. Fortunately, I might be saved! Today there was heavy fog, but I could have sworn I saw the outline of a ship, which got clearer the closer I drifted and the lighter the fog got. I thought I was halllucinating, but now I’m not so sure.
    I’m drawing closer as I write this. I don’t know quite how long I’ve been drifting or even where I’ve drifted to at this point, but I do know that there is a ship close to me. I can just about read the name now…”Sweet Tiramisu”. I wave as I write, calling out.
    “Hullo there! SOS, lend a hand to another sailor?”
    I am but a cabin girl. My only training has been my time at sea, so the only art I’ve learned is service. All I can offer to the ship that will take me is work, but I am an adventurer bent on seeing the world and I’m willing to work hard to accomplish this goal. Just tell me what to do and I’ll do whatever needs to be done as best as I can do it.
    Will the good ship I’ve accosted take me aboard?

    ~~SEPTEMBER 4~~

    YAY! I have a crew! It’s members are Trav, Cha, and Eta (are those names okay with you? Suggest better ones if needed); Travatan Oteino, Goddess of Chaos, and Eccentric the Afterthought. Jolly good! I do think I have the largest crew!

    Eta was cabin girl aboard her former ship, but we have LIRs to do the cleaning for us, as they are absolutely delighted at the prospect of dirty dishs and cleanliness. Otzi, Mel, and I once tried to stop them, but that really didn’t work out too well… anyways, she must learn some ship arts.

    I’ve absolutely no idea what experience Trav and Cha have had, so speak up, you too!

    Otzi and Mel are still part of our crew, but if they don’t post soon, I’ll have to strip them of their titles of First Mate and Second Mate and give those to others of my crew.

    Anyways…

    We have continued south, past the Caesar Arhipelago, with no land in sight. We’ve had fair weather with no unfortunate happenings… yet…

    The LIR welcomed the new members of the crew with a jolly edible glue pie (their specialty), which the newbies are still trying to get off…

    someone really must create an anti-glue watchamacallit…

    Sep. 4. We left Nurik a few days ago and have been sailing south to try and find a trade route beyond the Stormbelt. We can still see a bank of clouds to starboard, so we haven’t had much luck. Today we stopped at a charming little fishing village to take on supplies. Surprisingly, Fluffy’s father now captains a fishing boat there. Fluffy decided to stay with his family, so I bade farewell to my old comrade and promoted Jadestone to quartermaster. Eekeeknurknur is now midshipmole.
    Last evening, we sighted a small island with flamablamaberry trees on it. After a night of jam-making, we set sail with a new jellyboat. We now have four: Scirocco, Cloudberry, Dipsucib and Flamablamaberry.

  13. Captain Canix, I have not deserted the ship. The magical tornado blew me all the way to Saskatoon Isle where I lay trapped in the bog beneath a bridge for some days until rescued by a band of nomadic hockey players (a subspecies of horned mole) who had themselves been captives of the PURs and Pounds until the actions of our brave captain and crew made their escape possible.

    Their kindred are so grateful to regain freedom, they have incorporated a silhouette of the Black-Footed Ferret into their device (heraldry is a major obsession in their culture) and sing songs about her exploits and of the captain with the turquoise hair. Mere cook though I be, they treated me as highest royalty when they learned of my service aboard the fabled ship and showered me with gifts. I fashioned a raft from the hockey sticks, thanked my benefactors, and headed for what remained of the small marina at Cape Canola.

    As luck would have it, I secured berth with some of Fluffy’s relatives, who were a welcome sight indeed — both for the passage and for the reminder of home, now that I am accustomed to being on eye level with prairie dogs. We arrived in Nurik only to discover you had already set sail. Fluffy’s cousin Peluche generously offered me transport, and we must be catching up as we just passed the flamablamaberry island.

    Any idea as to what to do with several sacks full of hockey pucks engraved with the Vermolian Coat of Arms? I should have left them behind, but they were gifts, after all.

    In my last log, I mentioned fair weather. I was obviously not in my right mind. We have been rocked for the last 12 hours with a horrible storm that nearly broke the mast in two! The poor LIRs are sick, and so is the crew, but not so much as the rodents. But we shall have courage and stay this storm. i can only hope we do not get blown away from the south, like we did from the north…

  16. I just came up wiht the greatest idea ever.

    First, bake mini-pies. Then, use my sling and hurl them at people. These high-velocity pies can go farther than the human throw and are excellent for ground work. PLus, I’m sure the LIRs can figure out how to compact all the ingredients of a normal pie into a smaller size, without minimizing the amount of filling.

    I am a genius.

    Slings are cool.

    Whoever wants a sling, I’ll weave one for you.

    Isn’t this such a cool idea!?

  17. 6 – Thanks, GAPA! :)

    School just started for me today, so I probably won’t be posting as often as I have been. I’ll try to be on at least once a week, hopefully more often, but it depends on how much homework I have.

    September 4th:

    I’ve managed to get off most of the edible glue from my welcoming pie – I’m clean except for my hair. I’m sure the last of the glue will rub off eventually, so I’ll just wear a hat until then or make use of the stickiness and wear my hair in dreadlocks.

    The captain has invented pie slings. Why didn’t anyone thimk of that before? They’re brilliant devices…I can’t wait to try one out.

    Out of habit I tried to do some of the LIRs’ work, but they insisted that I leave it all to them. I’ve been using the time I would’ve spent cleaning to stand guard, temporarily assuming the position of the ship’s watchman. I patrol the ship and keep an eye out for rough weather, pie-rates, and anything else that might threaten us. I also watch for good things – I’m the one who gets to yell “Land Ho” if I see any. That’ll be fun.

    In my spare time I’ve been studying what books are available on board the ship and trying my hand at mapmaking. My first sketchy attempts won’t be of any help to anyone, but as I practice I hope to improve enough to become a cartographer. However, at the moment the ship is rocking too violently for me to draw any straight lines. I saw clouds coming in while standing watch, but I didn’t expect them to bring this big of a storm. The ship is fine, but I’m not feeling well.

    Trav has reported sighting something underwater. I wonder what it is?

    Sep. 5. Now that our cook is back, we can have our first decent meal in weeks. It will be a celebration, for we have passed the Stormbelt. The land of the LIRs tapers off into a point near the equator, a few leagues south of the Stormbelt’s origin. Here is a large city, Rowlik. Using a backstaff, I determined that Rowlik was on the same latitude as the Rhubarb Woods back home. We have found a trade route! Pies all round!

    September 5th:

    I got accepted onto the ship. After chomping down the edible glue pie and giving my face a proper washing, the captain announced the best idea ever… pie slings! I can’t wait to use one because the sooner I do the sooner something exciting is happening!

    One crew member was not marveling at the captains idea, however. The member kept muttering about seeing something move underwater. Personally, I think privateer’s had too much rum, paranoid, or both!

    I hope something is moving underwater so I can have an excuse to use my cutlass!

    haharr, our first violent encounter!

    When Trav saw something under the water, it did not worry me – there are lots of things under the water: fish, coral, stingrays, and giant one-eyed beasties. Wait – giant one-eyed beasties?!

    Aye, that’s right, GOEBs [oh, I just love abbreviating things! it drives my composition teacher mad, though]. The thing was like a squid, except more circular like an octopus with two loooooong tentacles and little feelers. The thing tried to strangle my ship, along with its crew. But we fought it back – Goddess is quite good with the cutlass, Eccentric was amazing with the pie slings, and Trav organized the LIRs into battle positions with the cannons. Excellent work, people!

    I suspect it was stirred up by the storm. I wonder what else shall come our way…

    Peaceful night.

  26. Ships Log:

    Today something interesting happened! The thing Trav saw was a giant one-eyed beastie! I fought it with my cutlass very well, while Eccentric handled the pie-slings and Trav lead the LIRS with the cannons.

    After the battle, Trav saw island filled with pie-mollusks. Trav seems to be pretty observant, sp I was not surprised. Trav thinks they could be useful. I agree.

  28. September 6th:

    Turns out Trav was right – there was something in the water, and not just a fish! It was a GOEB, definitely hostile, but this crew works well together and we managed to fight it off. I got my wish…I got to try out a pie sling! It’s amazing what projectile pies can do and I surprised myself with my aim and accuracy when using one. Maybe this will become my new weapon of choice. Cha’s skill with the cutlass was amazing and Trav made a great leader for the LIRs.

    Later on, Trav spotted an island. Trav’s observation skills are far keener than mine, but I’ve also been neglecting my duties as watchman to improve my mapmaking skills. I’m getting a lot better. Still not professional level, but at least the maps I draw are legible now, perhaps enough to assume a cartographer’s duties. I’ll do my best to keep track of our course and copy it all down.

    We’re making progress – the map is expanding. I added Trav’s island today, then took a break to examine the pie-mollusks Trav found. I wonder if they’d work in the pie slings? Even if they don’t, Trav’s right, I’m sure they will have some other use.

    Now I really must go and try to sketch that GOEB from earlier and the pie mollusks, too. I intend to keep not only map records of where we go but sketches of what we see as well to bring back to Museica.

  29. ~~SHIP’S LOG~~

    Today I inspected the left hull of the ship. There were HUNDREDS of small pie mollusks. I was muttering to myself when suddenly a voice said in a nasal tone, “If you want us to move, we can. We were simply resting. Really, we weren’t eating your pies.” Startled, I fell overboard. After being fished out by the LIRs, the voice said, “Sorry.” Shakily, I asked “Who’s there?”

    “Why, us, of course. The Pie Mullusks.” I peered overboard. One of them had a beak and was… talking to me! I stared. “It’s impolite to stare, you know,” the thing reprimanded me. I managed to stutter out, “S-Sorry. I’m not used to animals talking to me, especially mollusks.” “Oh, that’s all right. We pie mollusks are used to that kind of stuff.” Ugh. Every time it opened its beak, I could see rows of sharp, white teeth.

    I won’t relive our hour-long conversation, but here’s what I discerned: the pie-mollusks eat pies, usually aboard ships. they can chew through a wooden hull, but didn’t on my ship – they were just resting before moving on. They live in the waters around this island. GOEBs don’t bother them for some reason – perhaps because of the fresh-baked pie smell they exude (that’s probably why we weren’t bothered at all by GOEBs). Nothing lives on the island, except for baby GOEBs, which move to the water for adulthood.

    After speaking to them, I told them they could stay, and ordered the LIRs to feed them a few apple pies.

    Hmmm… If these Mollusks can chew through ships, and eat pies, they could be a perfect weapon against the pie-rate ships! just stick a few of them on, and total victory!

    As to the baby GOEBs, maybe we could train one into being friendly to us, but not to other ships! A guard GOEB! A jolly idea.

    The mollusks shall stay for a while. I must think over my plan, and consult with my crew…

    Aug. 8. I suffered an attack of Skool a few days ago, so I have not been keeping the log up. Capricious and Jadestone handled the ship very well while I was indisposed. We left Rowlik and have been sailing east along the equator. Today, a small, sleek ship appeared off the starboard side. We approached and found that it was crewed by non-Museican humans. After much trial and error concerning language, we found that they called themselves Dornavenkians. Apparently, we are in the Gulf of Dornavenk, a vast body of water so chock-full of islands that it is considered a country. An empire, to be exact. Far to the north is the great continent of Navenk, a place of frigid flatlands. The captain was very friendly, and he was happy to oblige when I asked to see his charts. Apparently(I use that word a lot), the land of the LIRs is what remains of North Africa. Navenk, of course, is to the north. Dor, a hot continent of desert and grassland, is to the south of the Gulf. It is inhabited by intelligent lizards. A narrow strait runs between the northern reaches of Dor and Cape Austral, which is part of Navenk. The sea beyond is uncharted, but from descriptions I heard, it sounds like the Filling Sea. We could be almost home.

    Aug. 8. We left Rowlik a few days ago. I have not been keeping up on the log because of an attack of Skool.
    Today we saw a sleek, fast ship to starboard. We sailed closer and found that it was crewed by non-Museican humans. The captain was a bit distrustful at first, but I went aboard their ship with no weapons as a guarantee of their safety. I have been studying their charts and finding interesting things.
    We are currently in the Gulf of Dornavenk, a vast body of water so chock-full of islands that it is considered a country. To the west is the land of the LIRs, which is called Iknurowlis: to the north, a barren, inhospitable land of tundra, called Navenk: and to the south, Dor, a place of desert and grassland, but getting colder as it reaches south all the way to the Pole. The Sunrise Ocean, beyond these, slowly gets thicker as one sails east, and it is not salty, but sweet. Perhaps this is the westernmost stretch of the Filling Sea.
    We are now sailing for the isle of Whaldan, capital of Dornavenk, for some shore leave and exploration. More tomorrow.

    My attack of Skool was worse than I thought. I not only repeated a log entry, I got the date completely wrong.
    SEP. 9. We were attacked by a pierate crew aboard a ship called the Waveshearer, captained by a vile corsair named P. Baker(first name unknown), who once served as gunner aboard the Queen Rosanne’s Revenge. The Dornavenkian sailors were a great help to us, so that we defeated Baker without having to sink the Waveshearer. P. Baker is being taken to Wharlan for his trial. Eekeeknurknur and the horned moles commandeered the Waveshearer and set off on a voyage of their own, so I am without a midshipman. I inquired if the castaway wished to take on Eekeeknurknur’s job. She said she would think about it.
    We are expected to reach Wharlan tomorrow. The Dornavenkians gave us a meal that looked like an octuple order of calamari with one eye the size of a soccer ball. They said that it was called a goeb. I wonder if any other captains have seen these beasts.
    We landed on Bung Isle to take on supplies. We will spend the night here in the Baeral Inn.

  38. ~Doctor’s log~

    Everyone slept on as a small, cloaked figure tiptoed from the Baeral inn and made its way down the road. A small bag was tied to the figure’s belt, containing doctor’s equipment, a book, and a note. When it reached the docks, the person extracted the note from the bag, and laid it on the deck. Standing on the dock, the figure took a deep breath before executing a perfect dive into the harbor waters. Swimming powerfully in the warm, clear water, it soon managed to emerge from the mouth of the harbor and drift into the sea. Finding a small, drifting jellyboat in the open water ( it was too small to be owned by any of the captains from Museica) the mysterious person clambered abord. Flinging back the hood of the drenched cape, the Ship’s Doctor smiled the content smile of someone who’s plan has gone well. Then the doctor lay down and finally went to sleep.

    I have landed on the island I have been searching for. According to my book, there is a plant on this island that grows exploding berries. we could bake them in pies and throw them at pierates! Think of how useful that would be when we have another naval engagement! However, I didn’t want to bring my whole ship on what might just be a fool’s errand. I do hope everybody on the Black Footed Ferret will forgive me when I return.

    ~

    I have stumbled upon a purple bush that has yellow berries. I belive that this is the one that I have been searching for, because when I tried to eat a berry, it exploded in my hand, sending be reeling backwards several feet! After collecting a good amount of the berries, I wrapped them in my cape (that had STILL not dried out…) to try to stop them from exploding. It has worked so far, and I am rowing as fast as I can to meet the Black Footed Ferret at the Yaamlush strait. I think if I can make it if I can find the current that is heading in that direction. I see a dark blob ahead. What is that? Is it my ship?

    Today I saw a small, dark, shape floating in the water a ways off from our port bow. I alerted Captyain Canix to it, and am awaiting orders now. Our docter had gone missing, and Bandit proved to be inadiquite in comparison. My captain apears ready to speak now; I will continue later.

    I rowed as quickly as I could to the ship, but when I grew closer, I realised that this was not the Black Footed Ferret. It was a pie-rate ship! Painted in blood red letters on the hull was the word “Skool”. I tried to row away, but the lookout had spotted me, and sent out the alarm. The ship’s jellyboats were much swifter than mine, and soon surrounded me. Desperately, I gathered a few berries and tossed them straight at the ship. A huge bang came from the boat, and a cloud of smoke appeared. The pie-rates in the jelly boats were stunned. Seeing a telescope in one of their jellyboats (a very nice one, with gold emameling and such), I quickly grabbed it, thinking it would be useful for identifying other ships in the distance. I didn’t want to make the same mistake that I did with Skool, thinking it was the Black Footed Ferret.

    Looking through my new, borrowed telescope, I see that the masts have been blown off the pie-rate ship. Even though nobody was hurt, they won’t be coming after me anytime soon. I rowed for hours, and them spotted the Black Footed Ferret in the distance with my telescope. At last I am safe.

    Sep. 12. We found our ship’s doctor in a small jellyboat bearing several hundred exploding berries. Rebecca Lasley has been cooking nonstop and adding explosive pies to our arsenal. Ruffled Grouse apologized gracefully for her disappearance.
    We reached the Filling Sea proper today. Thanks to the Crouton of the Winds, our voyage time has been halved. We will be home before October.
    As night approached, we sailed for a small island that Capricious had sighted earlier today. On landing, we found that it was covered in colossal trees with leaves the size and texture of feather beds. It being fall, there were plenty of beds to choose from.
    A storm is brewing. We dragged the Black-Footed Ferret up on the beach and made a rough camp on her lee side. We will probably be on this island for several days.
    Earlier today, several of the crew, including me, caught Skool. However, I took a dose of Finnishomwerkol and was fine by late evening. I recommended the same to the crew.
    Checking the stars, I found that we were on approximately the same latitude as the Hot Fudge Volcano in Museica. We will probably land there within a week.

    I think I have the curse of the dreaded Skool! I think it was because I stole that telescope. This morning I threw it into the sea, but I think I will remain cursed until July. However, because I took some Finnishomwerkol, the curs’s symtoms are alleviated. So I am not bright purple any more. Which is an incredible relief.

    I would like to thank the Black Footed Ferret for putting up with me, and for allowing me to continue to be part of the crew after my disappearance.

    A few days ago, I was ripped off the ship by a rhubarb squid, but a large cinnamon whale attacked it. I floated free and was taken in by a species of IAPSes(Intelligent Aquatic Prairie Dogs) that FantasyFan mentioned in her log. They returned me to my beloved ship last night.

    we continue south on our voyage. The GOEBs have disappeared from our path, thanks to the Pie Mollusks. Yes, the Mollusks are still hanging about on our ship, though I had to convince some of them to move to the other side as the ship was beginning to tilt. Anyways, it’s been incredibly uneventful…

    the baby GOEB has one huge eye, a little nub on its forehead where a horn will soon be, and flops about on deck with its little flippers. Simply ADORABLE!! It is a mammal for now, but I think it will become a fish somehow when it becomes an (ugly) adult…

    We’ve been practicing with slings, cutlasses, and whatnot to pass the time, and we’ve just been doing random stuff; I’m starting to think we should join a Circus Troupe – what tricks we can do! We’ve gotten pretty good at pie juggling, cutlass juggling, Pie Mollusk juggling, flaming torches juggling, and swinging from ship to ship like Tarzan, using ropes tied to the tops of masts. Sep. 24. We have discovered the reason that the Burnt Crust Wasteland is barren. A colossal range of mountains runs down its coast, blocking the moisture of the sea. The highest peak has a large river of milk running down it to the Filling Sea. The sugar from the ocean sweetens the milk as it flows out. If the cocoa trees of the Gulf of Dornavenk are plentiful, we will have an endless supply of chocolate.
    A large force of flying HPBs attacked from beyond the mountains, being ridden by Pie Barbarians. We took most of them out with exploding pies, but one blundered into our sail. The HPB died on impact with the mast, but the Pie Barbarian fell to the deck. Ruffled Grouse examined him and concluded that he was suffering from the later stages of acute NHP (Neural Highlights Poisoning). Using some bizarre herbs that Eekeeknurknur gave her, our ship’s doctor hypnotized him and learned a horrible secret.
    Apparently, Pinkus Bunniesloverus survived the Pie Wars and retreated to an unexplored corner of Museica. She then began her campaign to gather an army of Highlights-brainwashed warriors. She then approached the infamous Tiffany C. and Laney R. to get their blueprints for the Anti-Nerd Hate Mail Cannon. She has succeeded in all this and is now marching on Museica. I must send a message.

    I had a lot of fun hypnotizing that Pie Barbarian, even though I was horrified when I heard of the evil lurking in Museca. I must tell you, Neural Highlights Poisioning is one of the most dangerous things that could ever happen to you. Worse than being eaten by a giant mole. Worse than being lost in the FMP (shudder). And even worse than…SKOOL. And as much as I love HPBs, I will have to think of them as the enemy. Because, today, they are.

    It seems like a lot of the rocks in the jungle contain some kind of crystals. I’m not sure what kind, as I am a (sort-of) doctor, not a geologist. However, they are very pretty. I wonder if they are valubale? It would not suprise me, because we did find the garnet grains on the beach.

  113. THE BLACK-FOOTED FERRET
    Ship’s Log

    I have returnd, after a long and uneventful hiates. I apologise to my dear captain for disapearing as such, and hope to remain on board and help to reach the 300th parallel(what I’ve decided to call post 300-should be interesting because I don’t think there is a 300th parallel(although I recently discovered that I live in the 42nd parallel. Squee!)) *bows*

  114. There must be a way we can fix the boat! Maybe we can stop the hole with glue, or bubblegum, or rye bread coated with some sort of water-proofing mixture. I’m not sure. Maybe if the bread is really stale…

    Oct. 15. We have fixed the damage, but we were attacked by Pie Barbarians and Aerial HPBs at 1:23 this afternoon. We managed to repulse them, but all of us sustained serious injuries. Ruffled Grouse is treating them as best she can, but we cannot set sail yet and we are very vulnerable targets.

    Oct. 17. A scouting party of the KPDF found us and brought us to Coontz City. My crew and I are recuperating in Chad Hospital while the Black-Footed Ferret is being repaired in nearby Poseidon Shipyards. We will soon be completely recovered and will be ready for our next voyage.

  117. It has taken a while for me to recover, because I not only sustained injuries from the attack, but also came down with a serious case of sokklhomeworkstressmusikdansbooks overload. (translation: I was reading while I should have been doing more useful things, and got really off track, and spent the past few days being really confuzzled). But now I can walk, using a cane.

  118. Prehaps some Museacan government officals will give the crew medals, or somthing, for our bravery. *hopes*

  119. I have just been informed that an aerial HPB has been captured, and is being held in the hospital basement! Maybe it will tell us why we were attacked. And then again, maybe not…

  120. Perhaps I should explain what an Aerial HPB is. Aerial HPBs fly using their ears as rotors. This allows them to hover, go backwards, and fly with extreme rapidity.

  121. 167- Just bunny heads. Nobody can figure out how they evolved, but on the ground they either bounce or roll. They use their ears to climb and hold objects.

  122. I will see if the Museican Govt. has thought of any more voyages for us. If not, any of my crew who wish to can come aboard for a leisurely maritime jaunt out into the Filling Sea.

  123. Yikes! I should not have read this right now with my brain in visual overdrive. I’m seeing a hot pink version of that old Peter Lorre movie, remade as The Beast with Long, Floppy Ears . . . with those images in mind, I may well end up with some tales for the Dreams thread.

  124. Nope, none. I vote that we sail west to the Gulf of Dornavenk and thence southward in search of Eekeeknurknur & Company.

  125. Well, sence there’s a bit of a lull over here by the sea, and if the Museican Government doesn’t have anything for us to do, should we work more on our maps; expanding the territory and all?

    Pie 0

  126. 172- We just did. Anyway, I visited the Capital and learned that the PMs are rearranging the geography. The maps that we found helped a lot, apparently.

  127. The Aerial HPB is now being interrogated. It told Museican law officers that it was given the task of patrolling the southern border of Museica by Pinkus Bunniesloverus. Bunniesloverus has been defeated by the KPDF and will be brought before the PM Council in a few days.

  128. Good news, crew! We have been given a mission by the chief justice of Museica. We are to take some citizens and colonize another land.

    Pie 0

  129. Wonderful! How many citizens would our ship hold, do you think? Sould we advertise on the random thread for hearty souls? That would increase the amount of posts!

    I am requesting that we bring some captive HPBs on board ship, because I imagine that they would be very useful and could be used in bargining if we run into more bunnies.

  130. A couple of bunnies are begging me to take them on board, saying that they were drafted by Bunniesloverus and forced to perform the most menial of tasks in horrible conditions. I think I will accept, because we are sorely in need of crew.

  131. i don’t know how to submit this to the GAPA’s any other way than posting it so,

    i think we should have a urban legend/myths thread. or we could have a pun/joke thread. either way.

  133. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~SHIP’S LOG~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~OF THE BLACK-FOOTED FERRET~~~~~~~~~
    Voyage Three. The Chief Justice of Museica, along with 50 families of bakers, is coming with us on our voyage of colonization. There are 4 places to choose from.
    Gulf of Dornavenk:
    Pros. Friendly to Museica. Inhabitants human. Plenty of ocean.
    Cons. Language barrier. Dangerous beasts in water.
    Navenk:
    Pros. Not crowded. Lots of scenic wildlife.
    Cons. Cold as heck.
    Dor:
    Pros. Warm tropical climate. Precious metals abound.
    Cons. Unfriendly tribes of sentient, carnivorous reptiles.
    Iknurowlis:
    Pros. On good terms with rodent inhabitants. Fabulously rich in Iknurowlian money.
    Cons. Very few humans can pronounce language. Separated from Museica by permanent storm.
    We will cast a vote. Eligible voters are the Museican Chief Justice and all permanent members of this crew with the exception of the two HPBs
  135. Added note to the Official Announcement of message 185: Please RSVP. Need to plan for all the cooking. Some extra special pastries would seem to be called for. Back to the laboratory, uh, galley.
  136. Party? I LOVE parties! Only 11 more posts!
    All of those places seem pretty hard to inhabit. However, if we could find some way to keep warm on Navenk, then that would be a good place to go. Maybe pie-furnaces, or somthing like that would work.
