Go to gravatar dot com. All you need is a legitimate e-mail address. And, yes, we are always this welcoming to neophytes that use proper spelling, capitalization, and grammar.

B) Go to Gravatar (dot) com, register there with the e-mail you put in the e-mail box, and get an image online or in the computer’s hard drive. It may take awhile for the picture to show up here, but it’ll show up eventually. Alright?

Can you post on RPGs that have already been started?
Yes. There are some RPGs that are so long and complicated that it’s hard to jump in without reading the whole thing first, such as Bunny Apocalypse: The Next Generation. There are others, such as Romantic Musical Comedy, Demigod RPG, and Letters: England, 1874 that haven’t gotten so long and involved that you can’t join. If you do decide to join an RPG, please stick to the storyline and don’t create characters that would not fit. That’s extraordinarily annoying. Read or skim the story, and you should get a good idea of what to do. And, welcome!
To add on to vbean’s excellent answer: stuff like the Bunny Apocalypse is probably still an option but it would take a tremendous amount of time and brain cells to get through it all so I wouldn’t suggest it. However the RPG’s she mentioned are all good options, especially the Demigod Files which is currently very active and still pretty new. However if you see a RPG that interests you often (but not always) it’s better to observe for awhile and get a feel for the thread. This usually helps when you decide to jump in, however by all means don’t let that hold you back from anything!
If you don’t want to commit to an RPG (like me) your can post on “Our Reclusive Gardens”. It’s like an RPG, but it’s mostly just describing the scenery and it’s very laid back.

Are you a neophyte? (A newcomer) If so, please read The Rules and the HG2MB before you start to post – they’re located at the bar at the top of the page, and they’ll help you learn the etiquette around here much easier.
Either you are a neophyte in which I will welcome you, but like Silver Lining said if you are a paleophyte who’s already been blogging please stop now. This is a thread where neophytes are welcomed and can have their questions answered about MuseBlog; not a place where they wish to be “attacked” or scared off. There are better places to do that. (Alter ego thread I s’pose, or perhaps one of those Pie War threads?) Anyhow, if you are a paleo already please stop – you’re going to scare away the neophytes not to mention the fact that this is not the right place to do this.

When you post something, then post something else right after it, so there’s two of your posts in a row.

A double post is when you have two posts in a row, less than say… a day apart (which almost never happens on active threads). Usually, this phenomenon occurs when an MBer posts something, pressed submit and then remembers that en wanted to also mention something else. It’s considered rude, unless preceded by a “SorryForTheDoublePost (=SFTDP)”.
