Okay, who lost Rosanne NOW?!?!? Do I have to search all of your old sheds and attics for her?
She might be getting dusty now……
(Yes, I am aware of the fact she has been in Germany)

  6. ROSEANNE IS MY HOMIE!

    …If she’s here.

I saw a play last friday. There was a character named Rose Anna McCoy. She fell in love with the Hatfield family golden boy, and both were shot later on. Onstage.

Hem. Anyway, welcome back, my homiez!

  9. HI! Thanks for the flamablamablous welcome. I’m back from my trip to Germany and fighting off the effects of jet-lag as I type this note. Wooooooo wooooo. I’m a bit woozy.

The trip was great. I saw a lot of the country on my way to and from various relatives, ate huge quantities of cake and ice cream and my mother-in-law’s delicious cooking. I also saw beautiful art at museums in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. (We made a couple of side trips from Germany.) Oh yeah, and I ate chocolate. From Belgium. Dreamworthy stuff. And read a lot.

FrigidSymphony — I didn’t make it to Switzerland. I’d like to one day.

SO, what’s new around here???? It’s great to read the blog again. I missed you crazy bloggers.

  10. Hi Rosanne! Welcome back! *gives welcome back pie* It’s extra healthy; vegetables and wheat crust, but the tasty kind. I’m glad you had a nice time in Europe. The blog is pretty good! We have been undergoing another influx of newbies. Yay for newbies *throws random newbie pies*.
    *jigs off*

  11. Thanks, TSN.
That healthy pie is the perfect antidote to all the sweets I’ve been eating. But that reminds me, I must describe a wonderous treat I had while in Germany to any MuseBloggers who’ve never heard of it before. It’s Spaghetti Eis. What’s that? It’s spaghetti-like strands of vanilla ice cream topped with strawberry sauce and sprinkled with white chocolate shavings. In appearance the result quite resembles a bowl of spaghetti topped with tomato sauce and grated cheese. But not in taste.

I won’t give you a hug, and I was wearing gloves just then because I have been sick.
And I HAVE to go to school, as I have had to all week, because we have a band concert tonight.
    *wish me luck!*

  14. 26: Basically, it’s been boring aside from the various generalizations (american teenagers) and provocative statements (Bible inciting to murder- see hot topics thread for quotes) that I’ve been making just to keep things lively. Remember everyone, no matter how much of a jerk I may be, you’d all be terribly bored without me. So there.

  15. (34) Bored? The blog? I don’t believe that’s possible. I mean, look at what happened here.
I don’t think we’ll ever be bored. But we love you for your brick-through-our-window-of-silliness comments none the less.

    (28) That’s sounds delicous. I want to try. I wonder if you could get ice cream to look like that by putting it through a garlic press..? *plots to make a horrible mess in kitchen*.

Yes you are officially a crazy blogger now. Was that sweet potato merengue pie? It hit the spot. (What spot?? I’m not telling.)

    Ebeth (38),
    That’s one weird pie.

    Hi Phoenix,
It’s good to see you and Ruby back on the blog.

    Hallo emogrl.
How’s it going? Are you still doing your summer job now that school has started up again?

    The Skipper Nancy (39)
The garlic press strategy doesn’t work. I tried it. I also tried using a “potato ricer,” a kitchen appliance that looks like a giant garlic press that’s used for making mashed potatoes and egg salad. That doesn’t work either. I did find a gadget advertised on the internet that supposedly does the trick. I just might have to get it.

    Jadestone:
I am here! Thanks for the welcome.

groundhog22, Zyviva, julieb, dlod, yellowsharpiemarker, Sweet Melpomene, shadowkat, Phoebe, Zyka, emmatheduck: HI and thanks for the greetings.

  23. Thanks for the mento pie, emogrl, but OUCH. Those little candies hurt when thrown at such high velocity. Luckily they’re tasty so I don’t mind so much.

Nice to have you back, Rosie! We missed you loads, except the large numbers of newbies who have shown up since your departure. I was going to bake you a welcome pie, but then I eated it. Waily waily waily. Have a golf ball instead.

Moderation has been slow, but we’ve managed to be wonderful bloggers and pie each other verbally and mercilessly. MG showed up for a bit; were you there for that?

Sooooooooyeah. Stuff. Have you been going into withdrawal without your favorite Pentatonikk ever to brighten your life with witty words, spontaneous combustion, and golf balls? Never fear. Combusting time!

  26. 42 – (42!!!!! It must be destiny for Rosanne to hit the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything on her own welcome thread!) I’m not really sure what kind it was. 29. Sorry, Rosanne. “Egzu mudu fynvyr lishok” means “May your life be filled with pies.” It’s Archaic Pieblognic. “Rho-sanr” is a Pieblognic corruption of your name. Titles of respect such as “Gapoead” go in the middle of names.

  30. Eww, from the muses, emma? thats just disgusting, besides being sacriligious and possibly cannibalistic.

Lady of the broom cupboard- Rosanne is a GAPA, and she’s been gone on trip to Germany(and a few other places in Europe) for a few weeks. We are celebrating her return, mostly with the traditional pies. Which reminds me, I haven’t done that yet.
