Ooh, shweet. Part 3. What to say? … *hums* I have nothing to say. What can a person say when they don’t have anyrhing to talk about? It’s taking up space. Some people like to talk a lot. I don’t really talk much in class. I get points off for ‘does not participate’ and all that. but I pay atention. I just don’t have anything to say in class. Sort of like right now. Okay, babaling over. For now. Mwahaha.

I am very happy. I don’t know why I am very happy I just am.
On a not so happy note I hate my choir teacher. He was going on about the new testement like it was actual historic fact. And he claims it is because ” it was written by people who were there and saw it” Lets just say that the 3 jews (me being one of them) , the hindu, the buddist, and the 2 muslims didn’t really like that very much and its happened a lot with him before. We are trying to deal with it ourselves because the thought of lots of angry parents one of them being a rabbi, in there threatening to sue him doesn’t really apeal to us and our peace loving ways.
Now I’m not happy anymore, now I’m mad At my chior teacher.

I love Toblerone. I felt it was time for a new name…New thread…
Ooh! I have something meaningful to say! I’ve been accepted to travel to Japan next summer, through People to People! I’m a Student Ambassador to Japan! We’ll be there for two weeks…I already met someone in my delegation who’s pretty cool. He plays guitar and loves classic rock and The Beatles and he saw Queen in concert like, THREE DAYS before I saw them! Anyway, he’s cool.
But we’ll be going to Tokyo and will be going half (or so) way up Mt. Fuji. I’m SOOO excited!
Yay!
And I still love Crawlspace.

Already? Or is this late and i just didn’t notice? the last week has gone by so fast…
Anyhoo, i found a schmexy feather in the hallway at lunch, so i stuck it behind my ear and took a survey. Survey follows…
people who thought it was schmexy
mrs. horger (journalism teacher)
doc (latin teacher, spent today telling us stories about his college parties and teaching us how to make purple jesus)
jesse (kid from theater-amazingly cute (little-boy cute, no drooly cute) was a party extra, freshie)
tory (freshie friend of mine)
cheese (another freshie friend, plays sax)
jacob (soph, plays clarinet)
people who i marked as undecided
mr. featherstone (history last year-just rolled eyes walked away)
high tower (soph, said “i don’t know” and looked at me funny. plays trumpet)
ellison (latin/6th trumpet buddy-probably said no but i couldn’t hear
his answer)
matt (fellow s oph, just sighed and rolled eyes, plays clarinet)
losers who said no
megan (another freshie friend)
alex (latin buddy, freshie)
andy (soph, professional loser)
weckstein (soph, apparantely got motion sickness playing wii-haha, i laff)
ok, danny didn’t really get motion sickness playing wii. He was already sick, but the wii made it worse. By the way, to all you people everywhere, be very glad you don’t have to deal with andy. First off, he waited in line three hours to get the darn thing, then he spent all of journalism telling me everything about it, from the games he played on it to the blue glow and how he was going to send 400 emails to it so it would stay glowing all night and he could stay up and stare at it (yes, did i mention he’s obsessed?), then at random moments he would move his hands around and grin maniacally whenever i looked at him. and when he was doing it and i wasn’t looking at him he’d shout “wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!” in a high-pitched voice and i’d have to turn around and schmack him. jacob and i had a plot to rob the main street bank (where all his money is-it gets robbed all the time. we questioned the wisdom of his storing it there when he knows it gets robbed all the time. he didn’t really have an answer) the night before it came out so he would have no money to buy it, but that fell through.
I am so far behind in nano. I wrote 4000 words yestiddy and i’m still 5000 words behind. And we’re going to grandma’s for thanksgiving, and she doesn’t have a comp so i really hope A-we take this one with us and B-i’m actually allowed to use it for a bit each day.
I have tons of hw too. they don’t want us to slack off since we have a 2-day week, so they’re giving us lots of hw to keep our attention. hmph. stoopid.
i just got a brilliant stalking idea. have to go test it. it might not work…

5- I got “invited” to do one of those. We chose not to for several reasons:
1) It was overpriced
2) It is a for profit organization
3) We heard a lot of bad reports about the trips (one parent got an “invitation” for her son to go on a trip and the son had died 13 years prior, one girl broke a bone and wasn’t allowed to leave the hike, etc.)
Not to say that you won’t have a marvelous time. I’ve heard good reports too.
Meh. I have chicken pox and nothing to do.

although i am not nanoing, i do have a writing trauma to share with allayous. we are supposed to write a short story for english on anything we want so i wrote this lotr fanfic. my friend totally dissed it but what does she know she wrote the most cliche story in the WORLD and i am mad at her anyway but . . . so then my mom said that my story didn’t go anywhere so i was going to change it. then i got all depressed because i thought i couldn’t write anymore (pms i think). then yesterday i was totally panicking because i had to write pretty much a whole new story because it’s due tomorrow. then we have BREEEEAAAAAK!!!!!!!!!!! anyways, so i had a majormajor spazz attack, i mean, like, full-blown panicking. it totally sucked. but then it was some kind of miracle because i suddenly got all this inspiration and i wrote almost the whole thing in like three or four hours wasn’t that a beautiful story boys and girls? i hope mr. chapin likes it. the story i wrote i mean not the story of how i had a fullblown panic attack.
i went with my friend to see our school’s production of macbeth. it owned. they made it all goth with everyone wearing black and dogtags and lady macbeth wearing all these awesome dresses in black and red and purple and one white one. there were a lot of messed up dancers dancing to this creepy song that was all whispery and during the banquet scene all the guests were frozen in place and there was a movement chorus thing that did this weird robotic dance. also there was a “rave” on the heath with glowsticks and dancers in skimpy black outfits rolling “unconscious” macbeth around on the floor. also there was fog everywhere i think i am allergic to it because it made my eyes all itchy although that may have been because i was crying earlier because i was depressed because of the writing thing.
did you get any of that?

11-yes, but i was on for about 2 days and i haven’t been on my account now for…oh…almost a year i’d say by now. menny months anyway. It was kewl i guess, but i like texts better for various reasons mostly they’re easier to multitask with and they depend less on how good a computer you have (because you have to admit, it does depend at least partially on that) So i haven’t really played it much. But it looked good from what i saw.
10-innit the waves? or is there another verse i’m not aware of?
13-aww, i’m sorry. *virtual fishy coffin* i shall virtual attend it’s virtual funeral if you virtually choose to hold on.

(5) That’s so froody! Congrats! Have fun in Japan!
(13) I’m sorry
OK, I want to read more posts and reply but I have to go to school soon with my suitcase so I can pack my uniform, sit through an unimaginably tortuous eternity of a school day, then load the bus and got to the airport and
LEAVE FOR NY CITY!!!!!
So I’m really pysched. I tried to sleep last night but didn’t so well. I will have to sleep on the flight to NY (it’s a red eye), because as soon as we get off, we go straight into a bus tour. Then we get 4 hrs of sleep (8-midnight) get up, go out to start rehearsal at 1 in the morining, start the parade at 9:30, march for 2 miles, and THEN get to Harold Square and do out show. It’s gonna be fun.
So everyone watch for the 3rd band in the Macy’s day parade. That’s us. And watch the Today Show on the 24th for the PWT PWNS sign that I’ll be holding up in the audience.
And I promise that after I post about this when I return, I won’t post about band for a nice fat amount of time, as I’m sure you’re all sick and tired of hearing me rant about it.
Love and toast my friends, everyone have PHANTASTIQUE Thanksgiving!
Byes.

Lyrics to the Canadian National Anthem:
O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
English version. I never learned the French one, but the lyrics translate to:
O Canada! Land of our forefathers
Thy brow is wreathed with a glorious garland of flowers.
As in thy arm ready to wield the sword,
So also is it ready to carry the cross.
Thy history is an epic of the most brilliant exploits.
Ch.
Thy valour steeped in faith
Will protect our homes and our rights
Will protect our homes and our rights.
Original Stanley Weir poem:
O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love thou dost in us command.
We see thee rising fair, dear land,
The True North, strong and free;
And stand on guard, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
Refrain
O Canada! O Canada!
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee.
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee.
O Canada! Where pines and maples grow.
Great prairies spread and lordly rivers flow.
How dear to us thy broad domain,
From East to Western Sea,
Thou land of hope for all who toil!
Thou True North, strong and free!
Refrain
O Canada! O Canada! etc.
O Canada! Beneath thy shining skies
May stalwart sons and gentle maidens rise,
To keep thee steadfast through the years
From East to Western Sea,
Our own beloved native land!
Our True North, strong and free!
Refrain
O Canada! O Canada! etc.
Ruler supreme, who hearest humble prayer,
Hold our dominion within thy loving care;
Help us to find, O God, in thee
A lasting, rich reward,
As waiting for the Better Day,
We ever stand on guard.
Refrain
O Canada! O Canada! etc.
It was random, but in my defense, educational and asked about in post 9. I had to share the joy.
Aren’t you glad I knew that? Oh, I forgot Singapore, Baffin Bay, Patagonia, and the Ukraine in the above list in post 31.
Is anyone else fond of the CHEF! series with Lenny Henry?

Juliette,
I hear “O Canada” is better in French.
By the way, your impressive array of names and titles renders the “Recent Comments” column almost entirely uninformative for your posts. Any chance of trimming them a bit?

33-You heard that from Quebecois whose accents are death. Oh, you hate my name? Fine, then.
*trims like a freaking interior decorator*
I still get to sign that way on official documentation, though. Press releases, statements, official denials and counterdenials, personal certificates, fan mail replies, etc.
Would people please stop extending their posts horizontally? It may be self-expression, but it’s a pain in the derriere to have to scroll both ways.

I know a few people who have done it and LOVED it, so..yeah…
RUNESCAPE…Well, I was addicted to it for about a month or so last year. I had friends on there (that I knew, from school), but then they started cussing me out…Needless to say, we’re not friends anymore. If I go on at all anymore its to be annoying, mostly.
There was a KAMSC meeting today. The bunch of people who though they were going to get in…it was a shocker. I’ll PROBABLY get in, ’cause I’m in ATYP. But perhaps probably is an understatment. I dunno. Maybe. If I don’t get into KAMSC I will DIE because I’m NOT having a high school career JUST at my home high school. It sucks, basically.
SKIPPER NANCY #30: Have a great time preforming in Macy’s!!
Ok, that’s official. GAPAs, can we have a Word Association thread?
Today in skool we learned how ot make outlines. My classroom has one of those fr00dy projectors that let the class see what’s happening on the computer. I got to make the class example. It’s real funny, I’ll post it later.

What is a Word Association thread? I think people will need instructions.

41- I’m confused as well.

Umm… I’m guessing it’s where someone posts a word, and then someone else posts what theat word made them think of and why? I dunno.
Ah, durn. I’ll have to miss this Kokonvention too. I have a hockey tournament this weekend. Wait, let me check the schedule…
Okay, so if we win at least 2 games on friday and saturday, then we’ll have a game at 8:30 am. It’d be over around 9:30, and then a half hour to get undressed and such… So if I left for Evanston at 10:00 I would get there around 11. Will it still be going by then? After that, the next game is at 5:30, so I’d have to leave before 3:30. If we lose all our games or win all of them I won’t be able to make it at all. It’s very ify at the moment.
Mom say’s she’ll email the GAPA tomarrow after the hockey thing is finished being tweaked and stuff. Will that be okay, dearest GAPAs?

That’s fine.
You could save time by going in your hockey uniform.

23 – Sî sî sî! I’ll be PoPoPo#2! You can be #1, because you came up with it. And FS should be #3, because that is the number I think of when I think of him, for some odd reason. And if E~A wants to do it, she should be four. like 42 without the 2! And anyone else who wants to can too.
What exactly is a PoPoPo’s job?
GAPAs, maybe we should have a PoPoPo thread. Hint hint.

sure I’ll be four – 48

OK, then I’m One. *puts on uniform* Yay!

What should the penalty be for PoPoing?

#6: Hahaha my friends and I were talking about the Wii the other day, and we ended up running around upstairs in C building shouting “Wiiiiiiiiiii!!” I love being a nerd…
Ha, I finally have a chance to come here, and now I realize that I have absolutely nothing to say.
Um…HI! *Puts on black ski mask + runs from PoPoPos *

IT’S A DEAD OSTRICH!!! I had to put that here because someone closed the other thread.
Can we have a Kokonvention in my town? Actually, Penguini and I are the only MBers here, so every time we meet can be a Kokonvention! Unless someone wants to say they recognized everyone and everything I mention in my posts, they’re in my ____ class, they’ve been a loyal Muser forever and they’ve known me since ____ etc. Please do!! But don’t if it’s not true.

53- * sentiment* . I am probably the only MBer in my entire state, never mind the city. and I live very far away from chigago.
Now I am asking my self why I am up this early on thankgiving break, and why am I posting when I have nothing to say?
*grins because no PoPoPo are up this early*

51- The penalty should be no posting on the random thread for 6 hours. How ’bout that?
I’ll draw a piccy of the outfit.

oooh, guess what! i’ve talked to THREE movie star look-alikes my mom’s chiropractor looks like Sam from LOTR and i talk to him everytime we go there, but thats really beside the point. the point is that i was at model UN on saturday and i talked to the other two there. does anyone watch veronica mars? well there was a guy at the conference who looked like wallace. he randomly said hi to me because he was sitting in my same row and then afterwards in the hallway place (it was w00teriffic with fake marble floors and everything) and he was like “what’s up bangladesh?” totally out of nowhere and i was like um . . . because i was supposed to be representing bangladesh (i acutally said stuff but i didn’t win anything ). he was sweden which is sort of not believable. anyway, moving on away from mr. wallace-look-alike. there is a kid in our school who looks like cedric diggory and he’s in UN too!!!!!!! so that’s cool . . . we were all having a recess in our separate blocs, like all the asians and the africans and stuff were talking together. so eric (mr. cedric-look-alike) was benin (which is africa if you didn’t know, also bangladesh is in asia next to india) but he was with us in our bloc so i asked him why and he actually responded! he said it was because africa was boring. but you really didn’t have to know any of that did you? i’ll just leave now.

56- *smirks* I used to live nextdoor to the REAL Sam. As in Sean Astin. He moved away first (to do Lord of the Rings), and then we moved (because my sister was born). He was a good neighbor.
*wonders if anyone will actually read this post*
55- How do you plan on that law?
Did the italics work?
0

Oh wow, no they didn’t.
It was supposed to say:
55-How do you plan on enforcing that law?
and enforcing was supposed to be in italics
If a GAPA is feeling nice, want to go back and fix my post?

54: this particular PoPoPo lives in a different time zone than yours, so there! And that’s not a pointless post, you actually say something coherent.
Btw, about me being number 3, you think of that number because it’s the highest number in the most commonly thought of number association, a triad. And I am tall, high and mighty.
0
0
35-Hey, man, you’re going to read it anyway, so what’s the point? Okay, you win. It’s short now, and anyone who wants to see my full title can ask for it. The only thing I can think of that’s more unpleasant to have to carry around than a title is probably a chastity girdle. Or a fanny pack (bum bag for Brits).
Has anyone else noticed that Fergie loves to write songs about herself? She does, though. I’m serious. “My Humps.” “Fergalicious.” She coined a new word to describe how great she is. Does that strike anyone as a little odd? Hello? I mean, come on. Pass me a bucket and give me a break. I absolutely detest that woman.
I detest Georgette Heyer almost as much. I just didn’t know there were so many hot, rugged, muscled, 6 foot, titled, rich studmuffins running around Regency England looking for wives. Who would have guessed? And anyway, her names are stupid. Arabella? Please. Edit all placeholders out before publishing.
Actually, romance novels tick me off in general. Give me Cherryh, Heinlein, Adams, Asimov, Pohl–anything but stupid, stupid, dumb, asinine, idiotically stupid romances. Come on. Either there are Scotsmen with alpha complexes, totally screwed-up Plains traditions, or stupid double-standards that just get me. I’m serious. I would choose Blade Runner over any romance, any day. That’s saying something. I keep watching Blade Runner and thinking: “If these guys are so damn worried about the Replicants rebelling, why’d they make them human-shaped in the first place? Did no one realize that identification would be a problem? Did no one gain anything from The Hunt For Red October?”
Ah, well. Maybe I’m just having a weird day. NaNo does that to ya.
0
0
60- um, Asimov wrote plenty of romances. Caves of Steel? That entire series?

I got some asimov for the looong car trip we’ll be having. Started reading I, Robot. kind of disturbing but brilliant. i keep laughing at it b/c the robots sound so much like history. anyway. knowing me, i’ll probably finish everything and have to go back to the library tomorrow for more books anyway. oh well.
they had to give me a new card today. the bars on the other one were so faded it wouldn’t scan. it gets all worn down because it’s always in my pocket. along with multiple pens/pencils/sharpies/highlighters, a screw, my phone, a deck of mini-cards, sometimes random string, sometimes a rubber band, a bent paperclip, occasionally a safety pin, currently i also have a small penguin (from those beaded bookmarks), a load of change (i picked up my room today) and a receipt from panera. Oh, and my student id and columbus library card. i love my pockets.
I have an extra pencil and two very nice pens that i got from hunter. I auctioned off a large, shiny, gold peacock. I got a bar of choklit from the french room and it came in a large shiny gold wrapper. So i made a peacock. Andy couldn’t bid high enough, he ran out of pencils and rubber bands. not enough to compare to very nice pens. XD the best part was how they were mindlessly bidding though. seriously, after i said “sold” andy was like “wait…what were we bidding for? i forgot” and we all cracked up over his brainless bid war.
Dan finished his nano. 50158 i think. gah…so far behind…
What’s a PoPoPo? the trail of threads breaks off and i only read up to 50. Meaning, i’m lazy, somebody tell me. XD
I’ve decided i’m not buying anything for like a year and if i get enough money then i’m going to buy myself a macbook because i seriously need my own comp. not to mention more space so i don’t have to keep bringing it down to the hard drive. i suppose i could move the hard drive with the comp, but as i mentioned above, i’m lazy. Anyhoo, it’ll probably take more like ten years to save that much but mebbe i can get parentals to pay half. if i get 200 from christmas and b-day (people tend to give me money because they never know what books i already have) i could probably get another…how menny weeks in a year? 50-some? another 250 say from allowance then. so two years should do it if parentals won’t help. in any case, yeah. less than that i should think, i’ve still got some from my last b-day. mebbe a year and a half. So in a year and a half i’ll be celebrating my new comp. Meanwhile, i’m gonna gripe about how i’m not going to cvs for choklit any more, etc, etc. XD
I should go do nano. i need to get like 3 days ahead cuz grandma doesn’t have a comp. *sigh* yay for frantic writing ok bye people.
“PoPoPo” means “Pointless Posts Police.” It was defined in Comment 23.

Hey…neat. I’m using firefox right now, and the question marks in the name area do indeed look different. There’s spellcheck, too (“spellcheck” just got a red line underneath it, LOL).
I bought an iPod nano today! It’s hot, metallic pink, and I’m going to put some black stickers on it. Now I just have to figure out how to use iTunes.

66- Nice.
I am still on a five-hour long road trip to Michigan. I am a genius at AirPort, though, and I found a free network. We are currently pulled over in a strip mall while my dad guts the car looking for his glasses.

This is GREAT. My ATYP teacher (who PWNS, by the way) gave us this as an example for our process analysis paper.
“How to Write Suspense” by James Pinkerton from “Modern Humorist”
“Like most people between the ages of eighteen and thirty-six, you’re probably writing a suspense novel. Perhaps you’ve written your first book, and realise it doesn’t have any suspense in it at all. Maybe you’ve written a suspense novel, but its the wrong sort of suspense. The details are irrelevent– what matters is that you are awful at writing truly great suspense, and it infuriates you. With my program, you’ll learn how to inject those blood-curling hooks into every nook and crevice of your writing. You’ll discover how to construct suspense-packed sentences, and how to ‘end’ those sentences with edge-of-your seat puncuation.
On to the first lesson!
LESSON ONE: GENERAL SUSPENSE TIPS
The opening sentence is essential to a great suspense novel, as it lets the reader know what the story’s going to be about. I’ve included a sample opening sentence below, to show you how its done right:
‘John crossed over to the living room and lit a cigarette.’
Note how I have successfully introduced a character, a location and an action. Now lets crank up the suspense:
‘John crossed over to the living room and lit a cigarette. Or did he?’
Doubt sets in. Our reader begins to question everything he or she has come to believe. Who is this John character? Can we really trust him? How can we really trust anybody? Chilling questions. Luckily, you don’t have to answer them. Remember: great suspense lies in what you don’t tell your readers.
Having placed the seed of doubt in our reader, we quickly move on to something else, distracting the *heck* out of them:
‘John then went to work and nothing happened.’
This is a perfectly acceptable follow-up sentence, right? Wrong. This sentence isn’t suspenseful at all. Let’s try that follow-up sentence again:
‘John went to work. His day was a roller-coaster ride of intrigue and mystery.’
Do you see what made the ‘right’ sentence right and the ‘wrong’ sentence utterly worthless? If not, you could be making mistakes without even realising it.
TIP: Try practising writing in the mirror. Watch yourself as you write. What are you doing wrong?
LESSON TWO: WRITING THE FIRST CHAPTER
Read the following opening paragraph and try to locate where the suspense is coming from:
‘The gunman adjusted his gay hat as he powled the misty ooftops, knowing his pey would soon show. Sweat stuck to his [GAPAS: I’m not using this as an offense. Its part of the purpose] shit ashe contemplated what he must do. The one-eyed man who had killed his fathe would finally pay the pipe.’
An excellent opening to a great suspense novel. Where are all the ‘r’s? Is it a typographical error? Does the writer simply not like ‘r’s? Or are there mysterious deeds at play, and are the ‘r’s somehow involved? All of these questions spiral through the reader’s minds as they find themselves in a taut grip of suspense.
In the next paragraph, we release this grip:
‘The one-eyed man had stolen all of the “r”s.’
Goosebumps, yes? If you felt the cathartic release while reading that sentence, you’re not alone. Why? Because it wa great suspense.
A simple lesson can be gleaned from this: a suspense novel should start with a very suspenseful opening paragraph. then release the suspense in the second. After this you just write the rest of your book. The reader knows what kind of powerhouse suspense writing to expect, and your work is done.
TIP: Lightening is so suspenseful, its not even funny, so always use it for everything. Lightening makes the reader notice whatever happened before the lightening, so also remember to put in a lot of suspense before the lightening crashes. Just pack it in there, no-one will mind.
LESSON THREE: WRITING SUSPENSEFUL DIALOGUE
Read the following dialogue and watch for the ‘end parts’ of the sentences. These are the parts of the sentences where your probably going to fit most of the old suspense in.
‘I never thought you capable of murder,’ said Janet, crossinf to the living to light a cigarette. Or did she? “I’ve known you since the first grade. You’ve never harmed a fly.’
‘Maybe that’s true,’ said John. ‘Maybe its not. Maybe I’ve harmed lots of flies.’ He looked over at Janet, who may or may not have been lighting a cigarette. ‘You don’t know me, Janet.’
‘Or do I? I know you’re not capable of murder, John. Sure, maybe flies. I’ll give you that. But people? That’s stupid.’
Janet put the lighter she may or may not have been using to light a cigarette on the table. The Janet saw an enormous bloody knife on the table.
‘Is that knife yours, John?’ she asked.
‘No,’ John replied. ‘I’m pretty sure its not mine.’
‘Are you lying to me, John?’
‘No, probably not.’
Lightening crashed!
Egad! Is John a murderer? Possibly! That’s the thing– who knows? Good suspense dialogue should crackle off the page for your reader, as the preceding dialogue just did for you. Always keep the reader on their toes by being ambiguous about everything. Leave out important details, locations, names, evem events integral to the plot. Remember, the more the reader has to guess at, the more powerful your novel becomes.
LESSON FOUR: ENDING YOUR SUSPENSE NOVEL
A good suspense novel must have a surprise twist ending to leave the reader completely dumbfounded. If you’ve done your job well up to this point, then readers should have no clue what’s happening, who your characters are, or what it is they’re so worried about. Time for the final turn of the screw to make them jump out of their seats! Observe:
‘Janet and John had finally solved the murderer. It had been some other guy all along. They were just sitting down to a delicious lasagna that Janet had baked when suddenly–’
How would YOU end the tale? Write your own ending now. Then read my ending to see why yours is wrong.
‘–Janet’s head exploded! Janet had been injected with a toxin that explodes heads. John stopped eating his lasagna.
Or did he?
The end.’
BETTER:
‘–a big bomb dropped on the house, killing both of them, but mostly Janet. The bomb had been launched in Iraq, because of a war there, but the guidance system had shorted out, so it went over to Janet’sd place and flew right into her head. John had a mouthful of lasagna at the tiem and was flabbergasted.
Everyone else was flabbergasted, too. “We never saw that coming,” they said.
It turns out that John’s last name was Saunders. Nobody had ever known that.
The end.’
SUSPENSETASTIC:
‘–a murderer walked into the house!
“Oh, no, a murderer!” John said as he stopped eating his lasagna. The murderer chased John all through the house adn murdered him while Janet escaped. She ran outside and flagged down a policeman who was driving by.
“There’s a murderer in my house!” Janet said.
“He’s not in your house,” said the policeman. “He’s ME!” Holy *crap*! The policeman was the murderer! He murdered Janet.
The end.’
PARTING THOUGHTS
Alfred Hitchcock once wrote “Its either great suspense or its a large pile of my stool.” These words are as true today as they were two-hundred years ago, when he first made suspenseful films. No, dear readers–great suspense writing is not easy. But with a lot of practise and determination, you will, I assure you, never be as good as I am. You will, however, still be amoung the great suspense writers of the twentieth century. Dear readers, I leave you to it. Also: Lightening crashed!
Sorry to scare you like that.’

66- Man, that reminds me.
Okay, so my parents each have their own iPod. Normal sized and stuff. I got a shuffle for 8th grade grad this past summer. A few weeks ago my dad won an iPod Nano(hot pink!). Than a few weeks later he won another one for my mom(this one was silver). So now he and my mom each have to really good ones while I have a dinky little screenless suffle(not that I don’t love it, because I really do. *hugs shuffle*) And- poor Violetfire has nothing. She’s really mad, cause we have 5 iPods in a 4 person house and she doesn’t have one. Meh.

OMFG. We were driving down a dark highway when- BAM!!!!!!!!!!!
We hit a massive deer. Me, my mom, and my bro were screaming at the top of our lungs. It was comparable to when me and my mom spun out on an icy road on our way to the airport. I literally asked, “Are we dead?” It was so freakin’ scary. And our car is half totaled and covered with deer guts. OMFG. My dad was calm as usual. I am freaking out.

79- Okay, relax. I’ll explain it to you. You could have just asked instead of posting, you know. The PoPoPo will get you!!
44- Oh! Do you think I could convince my parents to let me do that?
75- Wait, how about the PoPoPo give the n00bs a warning first, before the 3 chances. I mean, some poeple don’t know who just came. Or we could put it in the rules section, no one-wprd or pointless posts. Then we could tell if they read the rules.

*waves* I am finally back here after an uber-long break.
Happy Thanksgiving to the American MBers!
With NaNo and Drivers’ Ed and meetings about school scheduling, I’ve hardly been online *tear*
I need to do a wordcount on NaNo, still…I have other documents I haven’t checked.
Oh, and school, too. But I just got my report card and have a 97.5GPA so it’s all good.
So, how are all of you this lovely day?
Wow, a Kokonvention. I definitely can’t go; it’s around 12 hours away.
There are a few of us in PA… maybe we could have a Kokoconvention in Muse, PA? It would be quite fitting. But over Winter Break.
I cut my hair off yesterday. It is very short and very ’20’s. Just some pointless stuff you did not need to know. And some more pointless junk: There was a picture in the paper for that scholastic scrimmage…I’m about half as wide and tall as everyone else in the picture. I look like a midget. And the guys on the team aren’t even that big. Seriously. Just super tall with wide shoulders. Aargh.
I actually saw V for Vendetta in Government class yesterday. The blood was too red. I think they did that so it would match the red of V, but it still annoyed me.
What else did I do? I went to **random cool town** with my family and one of my sister’s friends. My dad signed at least two guest books at shops as George Bush. Complete with the White House address. It was really funny.
I am going to Harrisburg for a field trip on Wed. It should be a snore-fest. Except for when we go to the IMAX theatre. To watch some documentary on thrill rides. That should be interesting.
Speaking of theatres, has anyone seen the HP5 teaser trailer. *cries* Sirius! ….Bellatrix was in it. She looked really cool.
And I’ve seen pictures of things from the movie. Harry’s hand had “I will not break rules” etched along the bone in his palm leading to his middle finger. On his left hand. Did the Brittish version say that in the book? The one I have says, “I will not tell lies.” Very different. And I thought that it would be written horizontally. Meep.
I can’t really think of much else to type… And I have to eat some mashed potatoes before some brilliant person puts the spoon into the gravy….
Anyway, it’s nice to be back to the randomness here. Huzzah! *glomps everyone*

73-parentals get nanos, kiddies get choice of reg or shuffle. Unless the parentals prefer regs over nanos. I would take the shuffle, myself. i luvvz my shuffle XD but yah, that is kinda messed. ask ur parentals if they’ll give one up. nobody needs two ipods. unless they’re huge music freaks and have like a million billion katrillion songs.

60 gigs? full? That’s the crazy hard-core type of person i’m talking about. XD lol I’m still good with 1…bit of a squeeze, but i like it because it keeps on only the songs i really like.
I put Cats on today. Well, a few songs anyway. I’ve been meaning to do that for a while. i also found the grand illusion cd by styx while i was looking for it, so i put that up too. but then i was squishing things around and it cut off summertime blues and twist and shout by the who so i rearranged more until they could get on, but it was such a close squeeze that for some reason to do it they had to reupload all the songs on there. Every single one. Ach! i started at least half an hour ago and it’s still only up to dire straits…
Anyway, that means i can’t do essay for a while, cuz all my stuff’s upstairs and i HATE working down here. i always forget the little 5-pt organization sheets or whatev. i just leave them by the comp. it’s so much harder to ignore those when they’re sitting right on your bed instead of amongst a large pile of other papers that you hardly ever look at on the desk.
so that’s life.
we had thanksgiving lunch/dinner just now. we had a really late breakfast so we had it at like 3. ’twas good. potatos and broccoli and rolls and grapes and ham and of course toikey. and tangarines. and gravy, but nobody ate that but dad. yepyep. and lemonade. XD durn, if i weren’t so full i’d be making myself hungry again…
i finished sheldon yestiddy. was very proud. they update six days a week and they’ve been going for like 5 yrs! the archives took sooo long. but i’ve caught up. it’s very funny. it’s about a geek and his talking duck.

I have a 30GB iPod, in black. Video and picture enabled. But every time I convert a video for my iPod, the sound does not stay with the file. Why is this?
81- I just went to Happy Feet and saw the preview. It was ok. Short. Umbridge isn’t short and stout enough!!! I like the movies, but not comparable to the book. I like the movies themselves, but in comparison to the books, they suck bad. Happy Feet was great!
73- I have a white iPod nano G1. It’s a 2G, and that’s pretty much all I need. It has places for photos, too. My dad had a black-and-white screen regular G2, but he ran it over in his car. I got to dissect it! Yay. So then he got a black video. My mom has a blue mini, which died last week. I told her, press the play and menu buttons at the same time. She did. Her iPod came back to life. My bro has a shuffle. He lost it. Predictable.

My parents don’t listen to all that much music. I don’t really want a normal sized one, they’re to bulky. A nano would be nice to have because you don’t have to click 20 times to find the song you want. but I know my dear little shuffle very well. First there’s butterfly, then some songs not on CDs, and then So Long And Thanks For All The Fish, and so on until it ends with quite a bit of Coldplay. But I still have to click a lot to get to them when it’s not in shuffle mode. I’d like to just be able to get to a song/cd in a few seconds.

86- Nice!
104- Umbridge….I agree. My overstuffed pink G1 mini died over the summer. The play+menu thing only worked the first two times. After that…. I had to retire it. Poor thing.

on the subject of portable music-playing devices, i don’t have anything, waaaaah!!!!! but my parents are looking at mp3s in the catalogues, which is a good sign.
guess what i had for thanksgiving dinner? two little muffins, a disgusting piece of squash, and a piece of cooked apple — good on taste, horrible on texture. but its all good because i had like a million hors d’oeuvres (sp?) this is still an alltime low.

#70: I like the old-skool ones, esp Ocarina of Time!
#73: Jeesh, won’t your parents give VF one of theirs? Selfish, selfish. ; ) I’m not a big fan of shuffles…I like having the screen, and being able to organize your musik. Oh…and the shuffle is the size of a…quarter? I’m kinda clumsy, so I probably wouldn’t even be able to use one of those, LOL!
I couldn’t find any black stickers for my iPod, so I put an HPB sticker on it.
#81: Hey there! Wait…You thought the blood was too red in V For Vendetta? LOL, I never would’ve noticed something like that! And don’t worry; Imaxes are always fun, so you definitely won’t be bored there!
HP5…Man, I hope they don’t screw it up. I’ll be so angry if they do.
I had an interesting Thanksgiving dinner as well.
I went over to my aunt + uncle’s today for dinner at two. Oh my goode ness, having a family who loves to cook is really nice at this time of the year. My mother made her special chex mix (The only type I eat – I nvr eat the store-bought stuff), and my cousins made their special sweet potato cobbler stuff – It’s my favourite dish pretty much every year. My aunt made this salad w/ pomegranate seeds, grapefruit, and sugared walnuts in it, which was also inc good. Then someone made this cranberry-sauce-alternative type stuff – I think it was grapefruit, cherries, and apples in a cinnamon sauce. For dessert, we had pumpkin pie, peanut pie (Tasted like peanut brittle), and buttermilk pie (My favourite – Tasted like lemon meringue, actually).
But I think I made a total idiot out of myself today. After we had eaten, I went downstairs to take a nap. I woke up awhile later, when a ton of ppl started shouting upstairs (I have a loud family). So I shuffled up the stairs, hair all skewed to one side of my head, and standing upstairs is this shy-looking girl w/ a Persian complexion. However…At that moment, I thought she was a young adult, b/c she was talking w/ my adult relatives, and she wasn’t dressed in typical teen clothes. Then one of my cousins introduced me to her, and I talked w/ her for about half a minute, in the manner that I talk to adults. Then she said that she was an exchange student, and she was staying at my cousin’s house – It turned out she’s actually a year younger than I am! I hope I didn’t come across as a complete ditz…
Oh, and then my cousin and I were discussing funny movies, and…I was about to say something about Borat…but then I saw that she was about six feet away from my cousin and I…Oh my gosh; I would’ve felt absolutely horrible if I had mentioned that movie, and not realized that she was there. :S I was just like “Oh, and have you seen Bo…Strangerthanfiction??”
I have firefox now!! Oh my gosh…I just click on something, and…I don’t have to wait half an hour for something to happen! Hallelujah!

Thanksgiving dinner? Dude, Thanksgiving’s in October…oh, wait, you’re Yanks. Nevermind. I watched The Mummy Thursday night. Good movie. Hey, it’s historical! And the special FX are excellent.
Not much has happened over the last three days. I saw the James Bond movie, which is vastly inferior to the 1969 spoof flick with Peter Sellers, Woody Allen and Ursula Andress (or Undressed), in which lots of cool things happen and Burt Baccharach wrote the music. Bet you didn’t know that! I also have been working on Schumann’s “Soldier’s March” and watching more Lenny Henry in ‘Chef!’ than previously thought of. I’m giving up on attaining the NaNo 50K. I also went to the library and culled the sci-fi section (Foundation; Cyteen; Zeitgeist; more Cherryh; Terry Brooks; A.E. van Vogt, the only Canadian founding father of the Golden Age of Science Fiction) for good reads, which means I have a few thousand pages, and about thirty five centimeters of pure solid book weighing down my high IKEA desk. Oh, and I also found the Eurythmics’ ‘1985-For the love of big brother’ album, which is a little creepy and I’m not sure how I like it yet.

*spamattack* No one seems to be going to “Visit These Threads….”
November is almost over. That’s crazy. My online accounts have been suffering due to NaNo…. I have so much to upload on my devART…. not to mention decide on issues in NationStates. Just to name two… aargh.
Oh, and my two youngest cousins are coming over today. One is about four years old and the other is (insert some number here) months. Babies creep me out.
I’ve been reading through the “Who’s Here” page…. and so many things make sense now. I get confused by the ever-changing blog aliases. Yes, I have played a bit part in it with a lovely total of three names. Or six, if you count extraneous titles and abbreviations…
130- Nor am I….. Unless I somehow have two 5k days.

Hmmm… Jadestone has always had this name. Actually, if I had thought about what my name should be a bit more(or less, I dunno) it would probably be one from this online mesage board with my friends, IWishICouldFly. Or somthing else. I don’t know. But I rather like Jadestone as a name. Now I’m confusing myself. I’ll stop now. This isn’t a PoPo, is it?(no, you know I don’t mean “grandmother”)

129-No, not really.
Oh–about the Kokonvention? WE’RE GOING TO CARRY MUSE MAGAZINES, IF ONLY SO QUEENIE DOESN’T LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT ASKING PEOPLE IF THEY’RE KIKI OR PENTY. And, YOU’RE GOING TO SHOW UP THIS TIME, FOR PETE’S SAKE!

On the Kokonvention
I was planning too. My mom is emailing the GAPA now. Or, she was before she got a phone call. Now I’m here waiting for her to finish up so the Admins don’t have to worry. Hmmm…I just added “P.S. Jadestone says hi” to the end.
Okay, if I can make it, I will carry a muse. Not sure which one. I counted and sorted them all yesterday, I have 25. I’m missing two. They have yet to be hunted down, grr…
Also, I will atempt to find my Kokopelli neclace before then. I set it down somewhere where I would remember it and, predictably, forgot where I put it. Meh.
I’m also going to try to get VF(who will be there too if I can make it) to make more Muse stickers!! Yay!!
Now, it is at 10:00 on Sunday, yes? Jadestone will probably get there around 11 and have to leave before 2:30
Ooooh, we can make it either way now!!! But if we do play in the 2nd game on Sunday I’d get there around 1:00! Please tell me it’s going to go to then?

I just finished reading Animal Farm very appropriate if you know the history. I Iam annoyed. my mom won’t let me into any of the murder mysteries. I am so bored that I am actually almost looking forward to boring as heck school.

135- It’s 10:30. We will all try to carry Muses and wear stickers. The party will only last, at the latest, noon. I got a fr00dy new dress coat which I shall wear.

138 (FS)- Knowing Queenie, she probably read it at the age of six and understood more of it than I did when I was thirteen.
134 (Queenie)- I will carry a Muse. I was going to wear my Kokopelli shirt, but it’s in the laundry at school. But you’ll recognize me either way, since I have ridiculously long hair and a bright red fuzzy scarf. And Kokopelli earrings, unless those are at school too.
pointless postn. (poynt’les-post) 1. any post made solely for the purpose of boredom, being first, or seeing if a certain smiley works 2. the third or more post of a certain member on a certain thread that adds nothing to their original post ex. Pentatonikk was so enraged by the ~ that she began to foam at the mouth.

138- *goes off on a random tangent* I read 1984. It was scary, but not that bad. Actually, taking into account my absolute lack of horror book knowledge, I thought it was the scariest thing I’d read but I haven’t read much like that. I could sleep at night. And it’s NOT SCIENCE FICTION!!! Just wanted to make that clear. I am a science fiction purist. It’s mostly what I read, along with fantasy.
This is borderline pointless post. I am here because I won’t get any homework done before 10 when Monty Python comes on and I haven’t been here in a while and I’m bored.

#126: Hey there!
Tch. So my first issue of Revolver came in the mail today, and there was this interview w/ Dragonforce in it. Tch…Total idiots, but their musik’s pretty good. I just hope there aren’t any ppl out there who are complete, diehard fans…But there probably are. Oh well.
the interview made me laugh.
Yeah, this was a kinda pointless post. Yet another one of my rambles about musik…It’s not like you have to read it, LOL.

C&Q, you’re a “science fiction purist”? Exactly what does that mean? I’m always one for some good hard sci-fi, but what is “pure”?
(I understand your point, of course. Just posing the question.)

May I repeat the request for a thread of Muser Profiles? Where you live, your real name, your age, your hobbies, and all of the other stuff that is so utterly obvious to your real life friends but no MBer knew about you…you know.
Or maybe we just need a new Who’s Here thread…. I dunno… There aren’t many comments on the first…

It turned out that we couldn’t make the Kokonvention, so i didn’t have to get up at seven to go to the hockey game. Well, maybe we could have another one sometime?

Well, we can’t post our real name or where we really live for security reasons. We would just be able o do first names and states and stuff. Which we do have threads for, somewhere… Who’s here and there was one a long time ago for cities.

About The Kokokonvention…
In attendance: Kiki, Penty, Queenie (me), their entourages–I mean, parents. It may interest you to know that Kiki is little (no offense meant) and has flaming red shoulder-length straight hair. Penty is tall and has LOOOOONG mahogany brown shiny and straight hair. Oh, and Kiki has Heelys. Wheel shoes. *jealous*
Eaten: Kiki had a Limonata thingy, and Penty had a croissant au chocolat. There was a hot chocolate and a bagel with some cream cheese on the table when I came in (slightly late).
Summary: We had a fun time talking about Life, the Universe, and Everything: we also discussed school, friends, parents, Muse magazine, Monty Python, H2G2, and the blog. We parted around noon because Penty had to get back. Sorry that Violetfire and Jadestone couldn’t make it; that’s a shame. Hope to have another one–it was LOONG overdue!

Sigh. Break’s almost over. The next week is going to be absolutely chaotic – The first performance of the play we’re doing in Thespian club is Wednesday night, there’s a matinee Thurs morning, and then we leave for the festival in Flint Friday at six thirty AM…And then we’ll be back either Saturday night or Sunday morning. And then, just to mix things up a bit (for me, at least), I have a unit test in biology this week (Which I’m destined to fail), AND we’re probably going to be hitting the memorization hard in choir – Since we have, like, a zillion pieces of musik now, and I really don’t see how we’re going to sing them all in just two concerts.
Tch. My father can be such an arse. This afternoon, he told me to vacuum the third floor, the stairs to the main floor, the main floor…pretty much everything except for the basement/ground floor (My house is v big + confusing…). Well, I was doing my homework, but I didn’t really want to argue w/ him, so I asked if I could just vacuum the third floor + stairs, and then do the rest tomorrow, and he said that was okay (Well, my mother made him say it was okay). I finished all the vacuuming I said I’d do, + then went back to my HW. Then, he comes stomping up the stairs, and starts ranting at me about all the crud left on the stairs, and demanded that I come out of my room + see it. Okay, he was wearing his work boots, which have like, an inch of dirt/other crud caked on them. He was walking up + down the stairs, pointing out all the crud that had fallen off his boots, and saying that I hadn’t vacuumed thoroughly enough. I was so angry. I told him that I was actually watching the stuff fall off his boots + onto the stairs, and then he got really pissed off + was like “My boots are clean, you ——- smart aleck!”
After awhile, he finally decided to go back outside, and I went + told my mom what happened. First of all, she said that she could’ve been the one tracking crud on the stairs. Yeah, whatever mom…I don’t think I’ve ever seen her w/ shoes on in the house, in all of my years. I try to love her, but she has absolutely no spine. After I told her that erm, she nvr wears shoes in the house, she was just like “Well, maybe [My LB] did.”
Okay, What the… She nvr lets anyone in the house w/ shoes on, except for my father, b/c she’s afraid to talk to him. So after she said that, my LB gets really angry, of course, and wow, I just have the best family in the world, don’t I? LOL, I’ll be able to move out in less than a year!

Woah, the last post here was at 7AM…
Is everyone at school today? I have it off, but that’s because it’s the first day of deer season. My area is weird like that.
I’m working on a project about the amazing Salvador Dalà at the moment…. that is, reading a book and hoping to wing a speech on it tomorrow. Less than 200 pages left!
And something about the US’s intervention/affair in Bosnia from 1993-5. Okay, I haven’t actually started that yet. How bad can it be? Three pages, size twelve Times New Roman, single-spaced. There is not enough information on the eight questions to take that much space!
And I need to NaNo. I did over 5k yesterday….but….I really have to work to finish it.
So…yeah…blog time still confuses me. 7AM on the blog is 8AM for me, I think…. hmm… well, I am submitting this at 1:17PM, my time…

Gah! I haven’t been on here since the begining of Fall break and look, though I would have thought that we would have been at part 4 by now!
I have a question for all of you!
If you had to be a bird, whitch would you be? An eagle, a raven, a bluebird, or a penguin?
0
0
167- Probably a bluebird. Tweet!
0
0
166- w00t! Mister Monday! When does the Friday one come out?
167- Out of those choices? An eagle. Out of any bird ever? A flamingo or a quetzal.
I am procrastinating, but wrote 1000 words in the last thirty minutes. Pwnage.
0
0
167- Oooh, an eagel or a raven. But then again, peguins are so cute! Could it be a baby peguin? I watched march of the peguins on TV a while ago. Where am I going with this? Oh well.

167-Yes.
170-Penguins are tasty. Cute? Umm…
173-I feel bad for you.
I just spent a buck on “My Sharona” by the Knack. It’s repetitive, it’s lyrically dead, and there’s almost no interest in it at all, but hey–it’s a dance song and I like it. Sucks to those who don’t! “My pretty one-my pretty one-when you gonna give me some time, SHARONA?”
Today was my first day back from Turkey Break. Eh.

#174: Aw, thanks…
LOL, is that the shortest name you’ve ever had here (Quj)?
#177: Thanks.
Actually, the thought that I only have to put up w/ a few more months of this (Referring to my last post) makes me feel a lot better.
This week is going to be total chaos. There was a three-hr rehearsal today, and tomorrow’s rehearsal will be at least that long, as well. Then, we have a show on Wednesday, something on Thurs, I forget, and then we’re leaving for Thespian Festival at six-thirty Friday morning. Oh, and then, just to mix things up a bit, I have a unit test in biology on Thurs…*Pulls hair out*
At least Festival is going to be fun. As well as do our play, we get to watch a few other one-acts done by other high skools, and there are workshops as well. And…we’ll get to watch Seth sleepwalk. Okay, I really, truly feel sorry for this guy. He was telling us all today about his sleepwalking problem (The trip is an overnighter). According to some of the other ppl, he sleepwalked at some cast party – While he was doing this, he claimed to be a thief, who was searching for donuts. Then someone gave him a bunch of brownies (The other ppl at the party were watching/taping him), and he said something like “These are awful!” and threw them at ppl…+ then he got angry at a muffin or something…Okay, there was a lot more to this, but I was laughing so hard through the last half of it that I didn’t catch all of what happened…This is def going to be interesting. I guess he sleepwalks pretty much every night…Ah, poor guy.

Random question:
Do two posts in a row, made by the same person, hours apart still count as a double post?
I suppose it technically does, but I don’t think it is, in spirit.
I am going on a field trip to the state capital today. I do not want to go. I hate that class. It’s the only one I don’t like. Why did I even sign up for the trip? Because the teacher hates me enough already, and I will have tons of time to NaNo tonight, because I will do my HW [that I didn’t feel like doing yesterday] on the bus. Or during the movie. Bleargh.
I’m actually up on time today. Ahead of time. It’s so weird. I should do this more often; I’m actually hyper.
198- MUSE backwards is ESUM. Like, Σ SUM. How froody is that? Because Σ is the symbol for sum. Or summation, really, but close enough! *snorts and pushes up glasses while laughing*

Oh my goodness! I’m so nervous/embarrassed! I made a solo in our chorus class in the song “Santa Baby” and today I had to practise singing it in frount of the class. Now all the people in chorus are talking about how good of a singer I am! I mean, I know I’m good at it but it’s kind of embarrassing when people I don’t even know walk up to me and say”Oh, you’re the person with the solo, you can really sing!” Even worse, I found out today that when I sing in our concert I have to sit on the lap ofsomeone I don’t even know who is dressed up as Santa Claus! That’s going to be so freaky!

It’s really annoying when people won’t admit they don’t know what they’re doing. In theatre IB (an advanced theatre class), some friends and I went down to the auditorium to help another class (that is a theatre one class but it’s in spanish so lots of non theatre people are in it and it’s not actually a theatre class) set up. When trying to get the light board and sound board working, we were invaded by freshmen who claimed to know what they were doing when we didn’t even know what we were doing. Light and sound boards are more complicated than a lightswitch or a boombox and the freshmen wouldn’t admit they didn’t know what they were doing. They kept pointing to things and saying “I know how to work that and that so I get it.” when really they didn’t know how to work even those parts. They’d keep flipping random switches, not listening to me as I told them that they didn’t know what they were doing, that I didn’t know what I was doing, that the only part of the board I could work was the microphones and that I had 3 years of experience in theatre and they had none. I admitted that I did not know what I was doing, that I only knew how to turn on the microphones and tried to tell them that they couldn’t just try random switches and play with random things. They also kept trying to get up on the catwalk. Arggh.

okay, so I read the article, the one with the guy who stuck his tounge at his son, well I did that to my couple-month-old cousin. She couldn’t quite get her (I know I am failing to speel it) tung
(it’s bad, I know) out, but she certianly was trying.
I was able to skip about 4 classes, lunch and AT to go to a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. My English class and another one went, along with seven other schools. It was amazing.

181-Amazing. Asimov wrote more than 470 books on Shakespeare, birds, etc. Start with Foundation and go from there. And don’t let anyone tell you he’s sexist or misogynist or anything else–Foundation is more important than that. When you’re finished, read I,Robot. And remember, if it hasn’t turned your brain inside out you haven’t understood it properly.
202-I feel bad for you. Don’t worry about the attention too much–there are worse problems, trust me. When I was little *someone* told me to go sit on the lap of a SC in a mall, and I freaked out. Hey, you know he’s a pervert–he’s an old guy, I was five (it was the Great Catastrophe) and he wants me to sit on his lap? The hell I will, buster. Get your slimy mitts off me, was my sentiment.
I got a 98% on the practice vocabulary standardized entrance test. Highest in the grade. People are talking about it. Not bad for my second language, eh? On the other hand, the math and I are not getting along, it refuses to cooperate. Hopefully I can crack the test like a Che-Cri; however, the chances are anorexic to nil.

#202: Santa Claus, I feel as though I know ya…Hehe, the choir I’m in did that song two Christmases ago. My friend got the opening solo. Good luck!!
#205: A Theatre class en espanol? Hm, that sure sounds interesting. Tch, stupid freshmen.
Hey, just kidding. Freshies are cool…some of them, at least. ^_^
We had the first performance of SPAR today (If you actually want to know more about what I’m talking about, just google Steve’s Play About Renata, and you’ll probably find something). No one screwed up in any way whatsoever, and (Oh my gosh) the audience actually laughed when they were supposed to! So yeah, we must’ve done pretty good!
It was around 55 degrees today…yet it’s supposed to drop twenty degrees tonight, and we’re supposed to have a gigantic snowstorm Friday.

Wow. Just another hundred or so and we’ll be on to part 4! Of course, we don’t have much time, do we…
So, GAPAs! – Just so you know, you’re my very good friends, and sometimes friends do things for each other. Here, have a virtual pie. *gives each GAPA a virtual pie* Whatdya say about maybe sorta kinda a thread about Muser Profiles or something, huh?
Just kidding. I mean, I did give you the pies, and I do think it would be nice about the Muser Profile thread, but I didn’t mean all of the sugar and spice. I’ll just act my regular, friendly-but-not-fakely-so self. How does that sound? Um, and how about that thread, you know? It’s a great idea. And I’ll virtually spend an hour, um, virtually sorting virtual things for you…or something….tee hee…
Okay. I don’t mean to be rude, or anything, but you know, could you make that thread for me? It would mean a lot do me…:D

213-Foundation is a separate series from The Robot Series. Foundation is the title of the first book.
Does anyone here read Cherryh? Because Cyteen is killing me.
A.E.Vogt and Karl Schroeder are from the same Canadian Mennonite community. Fans are slans, and sci-fi writers have a good statistical likelihood of being Canadian Mennonites. Odd, really.
0

214- I have nothing against freshman, just people who won’t admit they don’t know what they are doing and randomly press buttons and flip switches on the sound board and claim they know how it works. And they don’t admit that they have no clue what they’re doing and, even though I don’t either, I do know how to turn on the microphones and that’s what I was supposed to be doing.

Since not many people go to the Visit These Threads thread, I have to put a link to one of my favorites here. https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=528
It’s the latest RRR. Good for people who like fantasy. The story has advanced quite a bit, but we are currently building up some backround knowledge of the setting.

Hey! So, who thinks we should have an “Alter-Ego” thread, where evrybody posts under a different name from the one they use on all the other threads, and acts like they’re their (haha) alter ego. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but do you get it? And, if so, what do you think?

Ooh! A part 3! Yay, GAPAs!!
My math teacher is v. nasty. ARGH. That and me always forgetting to do my homework is a bad combo. I MIGHT GET KICKED OUT OF HIGH MATH!!!!!! nooooo.
I’ve been to Canada and Mexico.
OOOOH Canadaaaaaaaa
that’s all the words i know
something something something
i think i’m getting this
miiiiiiiiixed uuuup
with soome other song
so now i will just
go ruuun aloong
OH BRITTANIA
BRITTANIA RULE THE WIND
That has nothing to do with Canada.
I hope you peeps don’t mind if I leave a somewhat(okay, completely) random comment here. Random is what I do best. But anyways. Has anyone ever played the online RPG Runescape?
9- At OSRUI we sang Adon Olam to the tune of that song on Canada Day.
11- Yes, but it doesn’t like my computer so I don’t play it that often.
my fish died. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i miss her so much. she was a good fish.
13 — awww
so i wrote this lotr fanfic. my friend totally dissed it but what does she know she wrote the most cliche story in the WORLD and i am mad at her anyway but . . . so then my mom said that my story didn’t go anywhere so i was going to change it. then i got all depressed because i thought i couldn’t write anymore (pms i think). then yesterday i was totally panicking because i had to write pretty much a whole new story because it’s due tomorrow. then we have BREEEEAAAAAK!!!!!!!!!!!
anyways, so i had a majormajor spazz attack, i mean, like, full-blown panicking. it totally sucked. but then it was some kind of miracle because i suddenly got all this inspiration and i wrote almost the whole thing in like three or four hours
wasn’t that a beautiful story boys and girls? i hope mr. chapin likes it. the story i wrote i mean not the story of how i had a fullblown panic attack.
although i am not nanoing, i do have a writing trauma to share with allayous. we are supposed to write a short story for english on anything we want
i went with my friend to see our school’s production of macbeth. it owned. they made it all goth with everyone wearing black and dogtags and lady macbeth wearing all these awesome dresses in black and red and purple and one white one. there were a lot of messed up dancers dancing to this creepy song that was all whispery and during the banquet scene all the guests were frozen in place and there was a movement chorus thing that did this weird robotic dance. also there was a “rave” on the heath with glowsticks and dancers in skimpy black outfits rolling “unconscious” macbeth around on the floor. also there was fog everywhere i think i am allergic to it because it made my eyes all itchy although that may have been because i was crying earlier because i was depressed because of the writing thing.
did you get any of that?
I won my districts geography bowl!!!! and learning olympiad!!!!! both in the same week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…….. it rocks………………………………..
11. My parents wont let me do that.
6. You have a 2 day week?……………..lucky.
:80:
transformation of a nerd.
I felt like that
nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what happened to my nerd?
I have issues.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..meow…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..am i bothering anybody?
Hey guys! Guesswhatguesswhatguesswhatguesswhat!!!!!!!!! I read book 1 of the Beligariad!!!! Yay!!!!!!!
Btw, Robert-san, do you remember that nice little talk we had about The Left hand of Darkness? Well i found another book of the same sort by Le Guin, it’s called The Telling. Read it?
16,17,18,19,20,21- Yes. That is called pointless posting and is not allowed on Museblog. Please cease and decist. No stretching and no pointless posting. Random, but not pointless.
Hey, we should have a Pointless Posts Police.
I got a fr00dy barrette. It has a piccy of the Renaissaince Man or whatev on it. My district superintendent was at my skool. She said she loved it. Squee!
Em (22),
Oddly enough, I don’t think I’ve read that one. Should I?
23- I agree, although post sixteen wasn’t exactally pointless.
Em is watching a really moving part of naruto. It’s making me want to cry.
Um yes you should read it. drr. You should read every book ever. why bother asking Em. Ok, so maybe you cn skip some of the bad ones.
heh heh
sorry
but it was very good. i can’t say why though. it hits you in the same way left hand of darkness does. You don’t know what happened afterwards. it’s weird.
Hello everyone! Today is officially my last day of school before the fall break!

You guys were talking about hwere you have been so I guess I must tell you. I have been to:
1: Quebec
2: London
3: Newfoundland
4: Ireland
5: Out West
6: Wales
7: Washington D.C
I’m happy that we finally have a part 3!
Have you guys ever had the feeling that somehow, somewhere, a duck is watching you? I think one is watching me now. I’m so scared!
(5) That’s so froody! Congrats! Have fun in Japan!
(13)
I’m sorry
Byes.
25-Immediately. I love David +Lee Eddings; their books are fabulous. Book 1 is Pawn of Prophecy-it’s a good read.
28-I’ve been to random places in the US, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Newfoundland, London, Aberdeen, the Isle of Wight, Biarritz, Paris, Provence, Limousine, Nice, St. Tropez, Cologne, Berlin, Frankfurt, Moscow, Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney, Panama City, Nicaragua, French Guyana, and Buenos Aires.
We see thee rising fair, dear land,
The True North, strong and free;
And stand on guard, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
Refrain
O Canada! O Canada!
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee.
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee.
O Canada! Where pines and maples grow.
Great prairies spread and lordly rivers flow.
How dear to us thy broad domain,
From East to Western Sea,
Thou land of hope for all who toil!
Thou True North, strong and free!
Refrain
O Canada! O Canada! etc.
O Canada! Beneath thy shining skies
May stalwart sons and gentle maidens rise,
To keep thee steadfast through the years
From East to Western Sea,
Our own beloved native land!
Our True North, strong and free!
Refrain
O Canada! O Canada! etc.
Ruler supreme, who hearest humble prayer,
Hold our dominion within thy loving care;
Much better! Now we can see four words of your message.
21- Yes.
15- I guess so. I’m not sure.
*gasp* Ooh! I just figured out on our froody new wireless mouse, if you hit the little scrolly-button sideways it scrolls horazontally too!
Whee!
It goes a lot slower, though. But still fun. Oh! Idea for recomemdations thread!(no, not about the scrolly mouse button.)
I should be pointless post police. I should also be promoted to GAPA. Seriously. I’m swiss, we know how administration works.
Information on Kokonvention
Date: Sunday, November 26th
Time: 10:30 AM
Place: Café Express on Dempster, Evanston IL
People Coming So Far: Penty, Queenie, Kiki, and parents
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD KIWIMUNCHER YOU WENT TO WALES THAT IS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry. seriously though what was it like?
41- Someone posts a word and another person says what it made them immediately think of. Fun!
GAPAs, what was that ostrich question about?
23 – Sî sî sî! I’ll be PoPoPo#2! You can be #1, because you came up with it. And FS should be #3, because that is the number I think of when I think of him, for some odd reason. And if E~A wants to do it, she should be four. like 42 without the 2! And anyone else who wants to can too.
What exactly is a PoPoPo’s job?
GAPAs, maybe we should have a PoPoPo thread. Hint hint.
sure I’ll be four – 48
OK, then I’m One. *puts on uniform* Yay!
What should the penalty be for PoPoing?
50 – What does the uniform look like, do you think? We have to come up with a snazzy/sharp logo so that Musers will take us seriously.
Um…HI! *Puts on black ski mask + runs from PoPoPos
*
I’ll draw a piccy of the outfit.
oooh, guess what! i’ve talked to THREE movie star look-alikes
my mom’s chiropractor looks like Sam from LOTR and i talk to him everytime we go there, but thats really beside the point. the point is that i was at model UN on saturday and i talked to the other two there. does anyone watch veronica mars? well there was a guy at the conference who looked like wallace. he randomly said hi to me because he was sitting in my same row and then afterwards in the hallway place (it was w00teriffic with fake marble floors and everything) and he was like “what’s up bangladesh?” totally out of nowhere and i was like um . . . because i was supposed to be representing bangladesh (i acutally said stuff but i didn’t win anything ). he was sweden which is sort of not believable. anyway, moving on away from mr. wallace-look-alike. there is a kid in our school who looks like cedric diggory
and he’s in UN too!!!!!!! so that’s cool . . . we were all having a recess in our separate blocs, like all the asians and the africans and stuff were talking together. so eric (mr. cedric-look-alike) was benin (which is africa if you didn’t know, also bangladesh is in asia next to india) but he was with us in our bloc so i asked him why and he actually responded! he said it was because africa was boring. but you really didn’t have to know any of that did you? i’ll just leave now.
Oh wow, no they didn’t.
It was supposed to say:
55-How do you plan on enforcing that law?
and enforcing was supposed to be in italics
If a GAPA is feeling nice, want to go back and fix my post?
54: this particular PoPoPo lives in a different time zone than yours, so there! And that’s not a pointless post, you actually say something coherent.
Btw, about me being number 3, you think of that number because it’s the highest number in the most commonly thought of number association, a triad. And I am tall, high and mighty.
54- I was up. I was at school, though.
57- cool! Mary Gran Pré used to live near by (she illustrated the Harry Potter books) and we went to her house once to return one of her paintings.
Ebeth (62),
“PoPoPo” means “Pointless Posts Police.” It was defined in Comment 23.
Oh, cool. I’ll join. What do we do, just point them out?
I so happy. I own Alternative Rock! Foo Fighters are ok but Nirvana owns everything.
SQUEEEEE! PINKERTON PWNS!

May I be a PoPoPo?
71- ALERT! ALERT! You have been given a first warning by PoPoPo #1. If you commit this offense two more times, you will be banned from the Random Thread for two hours.
28-Where in Ireland? Dublin? Galway?
Nobody famous lives next to me. But maybe I’ll become really famous, and make it up for it all. ———— (name) The Great. Hmmmmm… I like it.
I’m in Chicago, and I was wondering if it was possible to visit the MUSE Headquarters. Do they offter tours?
77- Oh cool!! If possible, come to the Kokonvention on Sunday!
Excuse me? A Kokonvention? Why was i not invited? JADESTONE!!! What are they talking about? Someone, TELL ME!!!
In my opinion the whole museblog should be converted to php format. Everything would be much better. Threads come to the top of the list as soon as there’s a new post, it’s divided into subsections so that navigating it is much easier…
79- I forgot you and Jadestone were sisters.
Well, you can come if you can!!
My dad has a 60 GB ipod video, I’ve got a 60 gig photo. but I need another one. it’s all full up
81- I have a 97.7 GPA. Ha! And it doesn’t even include that with math being a Factor 9 course, I actually got like a 110% instead of a 98%.
How the HECK do you fill up a 60 GB iPod???

huh? How do u do the circly ? to the HG2MB!!!
but…i did it right…
AHHHHHHH!!!
Hahaha…
60 gigs?
GYAAAAAAAAAA!!!

I have a 30GB iPod, in black. Video and picture enabled. But every time I convert a video for my iPod, the sound does not stay with the file. Why is this?
Grrr…

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
byebye!
Poor thing.
57 — !!!!!!!
(signifies envy)
on the subject of portable music-playing devices, i don’t have anything, waaaaah!!!!!
but my parents are looking at mp3s in the catalogues, which is a good sign.
guess what i had for thanksgiving dinner? two little muffins, a disgusting piece of squash, and a piece of cooked apple — good on taste, horrible on texture. but its all good because i had like a million hors d’oeuvres (sp?) this is still an alltime low.
Attention!! Attention!! AD/HD!! You have been warned by Pointless Post Police #1! If you continue with pointless posting in that style, you will be banned from mainstream threads for two hours!! Please cease and destist!!

I had turkey and potatos. Yum!! And challah which my cousin baked. For desser I had pumpkin pie, choklit ice cream, and some chokilt nut cookies. mmmmm.
When we were driving home from dinner, we passed a Best Buy. Yes, folks, there was a half-mile long line full of peoples with tents and shopping carts just waiting for BB to open at five AM. My grandma was wondering where they go to the bathroom.
*walks menacingly up to flank kiki. scowls, folds arms. looks suitably mean and tough. glares.*
How was that for my first PoPoPo action?
I’m seeing For Your Consideration tomorrow at the radically fancy new cinema downtown. Uber excited. *shouts*
Beat my brother at cards for the second time in my life. 160 to 151. *shouts*
Far too tired to function. Not full, just tired…*sleeeeeeeep*…
Hallelujah!
Groan……… I ate wwwwaaayyyyyy too much food last night and the sage does not feel very good. the sage ate enough food to feed most of africa for a week. This is why the sage is awake now.
On a really wierd note, my parents have started complaining that whenever their goimg to type in website they always have to deal with the million MB adresses that pop up. My parents are just strange.
Over the river and through the corn to grandmother’s house we go…
that’s right, no interesting woods for me. Just corn *sigh*
when i come back i’ll be 3000 behind on nano. ah well. i’ll catch up somehow
i also have two chapters of history notes to do in the car…yah, i got lazy…*sigh**sigh**sigh*
Meh. It’s far too early to be up.
Anyway, bye all!
bleck.. homework, homework homework.
You can’t go to the library (my name goes here) until you do your homework. Geez I have the whole weekend to do my homework. All my homework is artsy stuff that requires supplies that my mom says she won’t get until I do all my homework. I am thinking that I probably need to explain this to my mom
Blecky blucky blicka bucky boo.* That’s how I felt last niight after a tremendous turkey day dinner.
*For 15 HPB points, tell me where that quote came from.
the sage is procrastinating
Has anyone read the Xanth series? Its delightfully dumb.*
Also has anyone read The City of Masks and its sequels?.
I am getting bored so I am going to read either Asimov or Shakespeare. I am such a nerd.
* actually the puns are better than the story line but oh well.
AD/HD- What the heck?
116- A random guess: BARNEY!
116- The issue of Muse with pictures of chickens saying all sorts of weird things, complete with translations?
119- No, but it was an ish of Muse from 2004.
*giggles*
Po Po means “grandmother in several dialects of Chinese. So I laughed when I saw the PoPoPo acronym
#121: LOL, I had to read this story back in grade skool…It was a Chinese folk tale about a grandmother, and it was called Lon Po Po.
Well, now I know what the title means, after all these years. Ha…
Wow, it feels so weird to have all this spare time…Today I had time to flip through the last four issues of Cicada – I literally haven’t had time to read since this summer! Anyhow, I read a story in the July/August issue called Thought for Food, and it was absolutely amazing; probably the best story I’ve read in Cicada so far! Did anyone else read it?
123- maybe, I get Cicada, but I can’t remember.. what was it about?
I FINALLY got Lord of the Flies for ATYP…Yeesh. Its due on Wednesday. I also bought Zorro, so that rocks…excited…
For Your Consideration was depressing…the humor was the same (yet rare), but it wasn’t NEARLY as great as the other Chris Guest movies. *tears* I’m VERY sad…
PoPo is also a nickname for “Portage Police”. Makes them sounds much less intimdating.
Hehe. “The Dolly Molly’s Folly is the Holly Jolly Trolley’s Lollipop Stop!” My brother is so mature…
I actually didn’t eat so much is to be in pain or pass out yesterday! I think that’s why I won at Peanuts.
Meh. I’m tired…I might go read…*sigh*…my teachers annoy the living crap out of me…except Coop…Oh well…*yawn*
“The time has come, the walrus said, to talk of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot or whether pigs have wings.”
The elusive Angelicus pentatonikkus has been spotted in several areas of the Museblog. Pointless posters and chatspeakers are advised to carry sarcasm-neutralizers at all times to defend themselves against this species’s secretions of the stuff, which may occur at nearly toxic levels.
So, hi. How’ve y’all been?
I have 60 GBs of music because in the genre that I listen to, there are so many great bands worth hearing.
Oh man! I have not been able to sleep past 5 am for days. GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Ok on a better note my mom promised to take me to the library eventually. This makes me happy happy happy!
Does this count as a pointless post? The definition really wasn’t too clear so I am experementing.
126- Hello at last!! Don’t forget about the Kokonvention on Sunday!! Tomorrow!! Yay!!
I am so not going to finish my NaNo in time…
129- hey, would you happen to know where the website that shows a picture of the beatles playing didgeridoo is? I found it once, and now I can’t find it again.. it has a red and orange striped background, I think..
*spamattack* No one seems to be going to “Visit These Threads….”
I’ll make it easy; click here!
Or just go straight to Poems and Songs
C.A.R.R.Y. A. M.U.S.E.
117 — yeah, but i stopped on like book five or something because it was so anti-feminist. the author wrote another series called the mode series . . . wrongest books ev-ah! nonetheless . . .
I just thought of something really random. PoPoPo could stand for Poisonous Polar Porcupine.
I just finished reading Animal Farm very appropriate if you know the history. I Iam annoyed. my mom won’t let me into any of the murder mysteries. I am so bored that I am actually almost looking forward to boring as heck school.
129: Big Brother features in the novel 1984, not 1985. Go read it and be scared.
And Kokopelli earrings, unless those are at school too.
pointless post n.
Noooo! Please can it last till after one? Cause otherwise I’ll miss it… can it be a little later, or would other people miss it then?
AAAHH!!! So much has been going on since I was gone.
C&Q, you’re a “science fiction purist”? Exactly what does that mean? I’m always one for some good hard sci-fi, but what is “pure”?
(I understand your point, of course. Just posing the question.)

Sounds like the name of some character in a kid’s book.
Why do I think of these things?

141- It’ll last as long as people are there, but Penty is leaving ’round noon cuz she has to go back to skool. Not sure about Queenie though. I’ll be there for as long as you guys are.
This is me wishing all the Kokonvention-goers a good um…konvention? And this is also me being sad that I live about 900 miles away from there
.
My mom is screaming in the car with my dad. I am freaked out as hell.
148) virtual pat on the back coming your way.
Good luck with the Kokonvention. May the Muses smile upon you.
Or something like that.
Two days left of vacation. And time for some hardcore NaNo-ing.
And I still did not do my projects…..
I hate the holidays.
Gah. Museblog hates me. I’ve tried four times to get on this thread, and each time it’s frozen the other windows I have open. well, the computer doesn’t call it frozen, but the windows don’t respond or scroll or anything.
May I repeat the request for a thread of Muser Profiles? Where you live, your real name, your age, your hobbies, and all of the other stuff that is so utterly obvious to your real life friends but no MBer knew about you…you know.
152- There was an ancient thread about that…
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=14
Perhaps I shall post there…
Or maybe we just need a new Who’s Here thread….
Hope to have another one–it was LOONG overdue!
can the next one be in pennsylvania?
fell while biking in valley forge today
YAY!!!
IT’S SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!
SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(And sticking, too. Maybe there won’t be any skool tomorrow!
(153) That may be a good idea.
The new version of Firefox has a built in spell checker..it’s so wonderful.
hmmm…. I’m bored.
I know! I’ll stalk the GAPAs!
*calls Robert*
GAPA: Hello?

Me: *hides*
Ötzi (161),
Phew. Thanks to your dad, I can safely return from my sudden trip to a secret far away place.
I live in a secret far away place all the time. It is called the state of utter confusion. Many people visit, but, alas, I am a permanent resident.
*runs areound madly*
7AM on the blog is 8AM for me, I think…. hmm… well, I am submitting this at 1:17PM, my time…
159: You live a sitcom life
You know what I just realized? That Sacha Baron Cohen played the head lemur in Madagascar.
I like to move it move it…
I got Mister Monday out of the skool library. Kreemo!!*
*sorry Queenie, that word is just so awesome.
Gah!
I haven’t been on here since the begining of Fall break and look, though I would have thought that we would have been at part 4 by now!
I have a question for all of you!
If you had to be a bird, whitch would you be? An eagle, a raven, a bluebird, or a penguin?
167- Probably a bluebird. Tweet!
166- w00t! Mister Monday! When does the Friday one come out?
167- Out of those choices? An eagle. Out of any bird ever? A flamingo or a quetzal.
I am procrastinating, but wrote 1000 words in the last thirty minutes. Pwnage.
167- Oooh, an eagel or a raven. But then again, peguins are so cute! Could it be a baby peguin? I watched march of the peguins on TV a while ago. Where am I going with this? Oh well.
Crap. I left my lunchbox at school. Curses.
Slow day on the blog…
171- Jahwol.
the grade i got on my math test is so horrible i didn’t even figure out my percentage. it was a fifty-something out of eighty. that’s like a C.
157-Girl, donne-moi details! What happened exactly? How badly did you hurt yourself?
159-That was one involved post, sister. I hope you’re happier soon; virtual chocolate?
166-I’m glad you agree with me; I don’t want to sound like a dork for the rest of my natural existence.
Eh.
Today I left my bus pass on the bus, and then this guy with the same name as me found it and then he gave it to the bus driver and he gave it to me!
Hey, there’s an article in in Odyssey(other mag I get) on mirror neurons! Sound familiar? The whole issue is about mirrors.
159- *hug!* here’s some chocolate too! I hope things improve!
167- a crow. or a quetzal.
#161: LOL, they’ve probably gotten so many stalking-related threats here that something like that wouldn’t freak them out @ all.
Oh, come on! Only three parts? I thought you’d be up to psrt seven by now.
I’m so disappointed.
(174, 178),
Quj quns!
Has anyone read the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov? How was it? I’ve been considering reading it.
Okay! So far the votes are…….
Bluebird: 2
Eagle:1
Penguin: 1
Raven:1
Okay everyone! We need more votes!
181-I have never read the Foundation. I’ve never heard of it. That’s surprising since I’ve read almost 1000 books.
178-Wow! That guy sleepwalks alot! One time my friend told me that her sister used to sleepwalk so much that she had to lock her door in fear that her sister would come running around in her room!
178- Freeky.
ok i havnt been posting and my friend is getting on my nerves
so i have been trying to catch up
and my computer screen has gotten smaller i think and i want to find out whsats been happening but THERE ARE LIKE ONE BAJILLION MILLONS OF MUSE POSTS
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
OK MY FRIEND I HOPE UR HAPPY I POSTED
182- i vote for raven AND penguin
ummmmmmmmmmm thats all
181-I’m on the thrid book. There pretty awesome if you can stand them. Otherwise you’ll hate them. Read “Prelude to Foundation”. If you like it, then so be it.
182- Out of those, Raven. If I could decide, Crow or Quetzal.
182- Bluebird. They’re so D*** cute!
I’m back!! GAPAs, your are so incredibley froody, like, chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick froody, thanks so much for making me a thread!
NY was INCREDIBLE, we got to do lotsa fun things in addition to the parade.
(181) No I haven’t read Foundation but I’ve been meaning to for ages.
182~ Eagles pretty much rock.
I was a interesting to see Festivus on the dates to remember column. Who here actually celebrates Festivus? I like the idea of it, except for the Airing of the Grievences.
182-I like peguins, because they are so CUDDLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hehe.
You know that “one and a half” joke in the Mona Lisa/School ish of Muse? Well, in math 2day, the answere to one of the questions was one and a half. So when the teacher said it out loud, I cracked up and she stared at me. Funny, tho.
i bought my first toe socks today and they feel so strange
oh i am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited because it is suposed to snow on wed and thurs i am excited because we might get a snow day PLEASE PLAESA OH WEATHER PERSON IN THE SKY CAN YOU TAKE A HINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh that is neat because it looks like one long line

Another snow day tomorrow. Icy roads.

Therefore, no snow days!!!
Therefore , mindless ranting!!!
Therefore…
*hyper*
*appears in conversation with no idea what’s going on*
um
……
hi…
………
yeah.
have fun with that.
I have had a stroke of brilliance!
WE ARE THE MUSE…EMUS!!!
It’s perfecto, no?
Any bird, well, purplefinch. Or a crow. I love crows. But ravens are close enough, I suppose.
161-stalketystalkstawkstawkstalketystalkstawk
Or whatever
*not really*
Yaaaay!! I had a 2k day yesterday so I am 50 words away from my goal!! w00t!
Now the votes are………….
Bluebird: 3
Eagle: 1
Penguin: 2
Raven: 4
Whoa… It’s really slow here today. Probably it’s NaNo.
203- Yep. People aren’t Blogaholics like I am.
Arggh.
193- Aw, too bad. We should have snow here.
okay, so I read the article, the one with the guy who stuck his tounge at his son, well I did that to my couple-month-old cousin.
ITS GONNA SNOW TOMORROW!!! Yahrooooo!!! I rained like heck today, so if it keeps raining and its below freezing tomorrow, SNOW!!
AGH! I am angrified (Oh, yeah, we got snow two days ago, it was awesome!) I just opened up my Cricket magazine and…. THEY HAVE A REALLY BORING ARTICLE ON HAGFISH!!!! It would have been much more interesting if they had done something like Muse.
Can you googlewhack on Google Images? Because I think I just did with h y d r o g e n a t e d e m u.
210-They have a hagfish article in muse, I think. That one was really intresting!!!
208-Durn…i read I, Robot and now i’m reading Foundation. Oh well, i was close. Closer than i get with most series.
Oh i could hide ‘neath the wings
of the bluebird as she sings…
210- yeah I saw it. The one in muse was so much better. And also, I had read half of the stories before. GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRR
On a happy note its a snow day because the roads are death.

…..
Emus..foundation..3…hagfish…
Yeah, what Em said.
OK, I have officially given up on my NaNo book. I’ll just write Chap. 15 tomorrow…
We got Cranium Cadoo. Ultimately fun!
Hey! So, who thinks we should have an “Alter-Ego” thread, where evrybody posts under a different name from the one they use on all the other threads, and acts like they’re their (haha) alter ego. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but do you get it? And, if so, what do you think?
I forgot to mention that nobody says who they really are. That would make it more fun.
That sounds mucho fun.
224-Yay! I’m glad you agree.
