That’s right, couldn’t make it. All because of her hockey tourney. If my parents had been a little more up for it, i might have come without her, but it just didn’t work out. Oh well. I can hear about it and pretend i was there.

i think queenie J organized it. she had it at this little cafe in evanston. everybody could probably organize kokonventions whereever they live, as long as other musebloggers live nearby. we just had a chicago area one because its a big city and theres a large probability that several musers would be able to come.
I’m pretty sure that no one is in Pittsburgh.
We should find out who’s in our vicinity on the Muser Profile thread that I’m lobbying for. 
Queenie did not organize it. Penty and Kiki did. GAPA darlings, my little dream-rabbits, could you post the summary I put up on the Monthly Random Thread so stupidly? 10:30 a.m., by the way.
It was at Cafe Express on Dempster. Not Cafe Expresso next to the McDonalds, not the Brothers K that used to be Cafe Express, but the actual Cafe Express. We had lots of fun. And we brought our parents, and no one was a creepy stalker. Also, we had magazines with which to identify people.

About The Kokokonvention…
In attendance: Kiki, Penty, Queenie (me), their entourages–I mean, parents. It may interest you to know that Kiki is little (no offense meant) and has flaming red shoulder-length straight hair. Penty is tall and has LOOOOONG mahogany brown shiny and straight hair. Oh, and Kiki has Heelys. Wheel shoes. *jealous*
Eaten: Kiki had a Limonata thingy, and Penty had a croissant au chocolat. There was a hot chocolate and a bagel with some cream cheese on the table when I came in (slightly late).
Summary: We had a fun time talking about Life, the Universe, and Everything: we also discussed school, friends, parents, Muse magazine, Monty Python, H2G2, and the blog. We parted around noon because Penty had to get back. Sorry that Violetfire and Jadestone couldn’t make it; that’s a shame. Hope to have another one–it was LOONG overdue!
Between the first-ever Kokonvention and The Skipper Nancy’s appearance on Today, I’d say Thanksgiving 2006 marked a great weekend for the Kokonspiracy.

It was tremendously fun and suchlike. Too bad Jadestone and Violetfire missed it. Penty forgot her Muse, but she was wearing a red scarf so I knew it was her. We took lots of pix, so I’ll send it if we’re allowed to do that. If not, I’ll still send it and the GAPAs can look at it. We talked about skool and I wore my Koko neclace and Juliette wore her Koko tee. Yay.

Speaking of sumer camps, has anyone else been to CTY? I went there this summr and it was really fun and is also kind of like “muse in camp form” though you have to take a test to get into it so that might be a little more work than most MBers are willing to do.

We’re less zap-happy if we get e-mail from parents who are involved in organizing a get-together and who will be there. That’s why we were more lenient with Kiki and Penty. We’re glad it went well, but we’ll confess to having been a bit nervous beforehand.

My visit to Chicago Land (where one of my cousins lives … not my sister. My sister lives near me in Northern California :)) won’t be until March at the earliest. So don’t wait for me for the next Kokonvention! Chicago has plenty of places the Kokonspirators can meet.
Did somebody mention CTY? I have gotten their letter every year and my friends who go there finally convinced me to go this summer. If your talking about the camp at John’s Hopkins, wear a muse-related T-shirt when you go! Maybe we’ll spot each other! If you aren’t, thats cool too.

Halloooooo…….could anybody make a MI one, maybe sometime in Spring? Or even early Summer? Oh, and I really like the idea of all of us meeting at some camp…that would be really good, because then we would have more than just a few hours, and we would (presumably) have stuff to do. Maybe even FrigidSymphony could make that one, since it would be for a longer time…his parents might let him come…I don’t know, I’m just thinking.

Yeah, I think you can just let the GAPAs know what your name is, and maybe on the “name” box thing you could write your chosen MB name. If the point of your name is so people know you’re an adult, you could write “(adult)” next to your name or something…I don’t know.
