Life, the universe, pies, hot-pink bunnies, world domination, and everything
I had a strange dream where my worthless school, Kenston, didn’t have enough money for bus gas, so they sold most of the busses and sent an old pickup truck along each street instead, and you had to run and hop on the back or they had to get to school by their own means. I don’t really remember the entire dream.
sigh. Dragonseye is heading off the list. Oh, well.
My friends say I’m precognitive. Actually, it’s a mixture of luck, observance, deduction, and an affinity for nature. I can tell within about a minute if it’s going to rain, b/c of animal behavior, and other little quirky tricks that are hard to explain. Anyway, I have BIZZARE dreams, like that one where I met ChinTsu. The coolest dream I ever had wasn’t a dream, just a…thing…sometimes that happens to me. Anyway, it was dark, but I was warm. After a while, somthing hurt, and then I saw a crack of light. Soon everything was light, but all I saw was the light, nothing else, no landmarks or features. I stayed in the light for a while, and then I went to the edge of where I was, still light-blind. I fell of the edge and fell, and fell, and fell… and then I spread my wings. And I flew forever and ever, untill they gave out, and I fell again, untill everything became black and warm again. finis.
deep, huh? I’m just like that… somtimes that happens when I meditate, but sometimes just stam.
all my real dreams are too long and involved.
Sometimes I’ll be doing something, and I’ll see something that looks really familiar, like a Deja Vu kind of thing. Then I’ll realize I had a dream in which I saw that exact thing. It’s really weird.
Sometimes I have a dream twice in a row, only the second time it’ll be a little different, and I realize that in my sleep, and I’m like “no! I’m supposed to walk there now, and he’s supposed to do this, not that!”
Also, I have maybe 15 dream settings that I have multiple, different dreams in- most are variations on real places, but some aren’t.
Many of my dreams feature anime characters. One of my most recent dreams had this little dude who looked sort of like Kiki’s boyfriend in Kiki’s Delivery Service.
i always have dreams about school for a month after schol lets out where i forget my project (shudder).
Hello, Dave. Mae govannen.
Where was I? Oh yes. Last night I had a dream. It went something like this:
I was sitting in LA being bored, when all of a sudden my best friends from camp walk in, and take me to live with them in Islington(London). Weird? Maybe. But fun.
I move in my sleep while dreaming, and wake myself up. I’ll throw my arm across my forehead (drama!) and wake up like that, wonder what I was doing, fall asleep, do the same thing again, and repeat until I have a different dream and fall asleep.
If there’s noise, I tend to fall asleep for two hours, wake up, turn over, fall asleep for two hours, then wake up, fall asleep for two hours, etc. until I finally wake up and can’t get back to sleep.
The night after I came back from camp, I had a dream where I fell through a lake, then a jungle, a mountain, the Kremlin, Kenya, Hawaii, China, Alaska, Houston, and then a rainforest.
COOL! Can I have your dream, ChinTsu!?! Please? Please?
I’m sadly dream-intolerant. I fall asleep and then I wake up thinking it’s still 9:30, or whenever I went to bed. I just sorta black out. *sniff* sometimes that’s a good thing though.
Dreams? Meh. I’ve had a few… I used to have a mortal fear of weasles, I had dreams where I’d be little red riding hood and a weasle would be the wolf…eek…
I do that sort of thing, too, Grant.
I remember when Lizzie told us about her dream where I sent her a virus…everyone thinks I’m going to send them viruses! Wah!
I sometimes have dreams where I get up and brush my teeth and stuff…and than I wake up and it’s 8:00 and I’m still in bed. Not pleasant.
I once had a dream that kinda linked with this other…so it was like, my mom had opened up this place where all the walls were pastels and it was kind of a hallway, and the doorways to the rooms reached either side, and they were made of glass. There were little kid dolls and stuff in all the rooms. At the end of the hallway there was this pool that was made of glass, and the walls were too, and the floor was too. By the end of the pool, there was a little Cirque Du Soliel show going on, and for some reason off the side of the little theatre there was a bright red slide, and I went down halfway, and when I came a]back up it was the middle of the show, and than I went back down and came back up and it was the end. It was very odd.
once Zyviva told me that she had this recurring nightmare that her mom invited the wicked witch of the west to her Bat Mitzvah…
I have weird, prophetic dreams. I know this makes me sound like some crackpot fortune-teller, but it’s true. I dreamed that I’d left my celloat home on the day of the final concert of the year, and lo! on that fateful day, I forgot my bow. A few years ago, I dreamed that my December Muse ddn’t ever come, and when I got my November issue that year, it had a tiny blurb blaming the 9-issues-a-year policy on Koko and November/December on the cover. Scary.
one time I had a dream about Master Boomerang Bonehead.
We were slaves in his evil bicycle shop. He was really mean. One time I tried to escape on a bkie, but it fell apart at the end of the drive way. We would get in trouble. Then we would have to do customer service. Then his friends would come to have an evil meeting. they all had names describing their heads. THEY would punish me by pinching me when they walked by. They would also make sure to walk by five times.
I also talk in my sleep
i meant bike in case any body was wondering
Wicked Witch of West is too Bar Mitzvah
as
fanged ramen noodles is too Company CEO.
I’m sorry, analogies are not my strong point.
cool dream Boxty! Veerry iinterrrestinnng.
I had a dream once a few years ago where the school administrators lined us all up, took us into the cafeteria, took us one by one into a small room, and systematically chopped off our heads.
I have a cousin who once dreamed that all the students at her school were required to do an activity that was supposed to teach them about crucifixion. The kids were supposed to get on a cross, and have spikes driven through their hands and feet. My cousin didn’t want to do it, (understandably) and all the adults acted like she was being completley unreasonable, this was going to be fun,and by golly she was going to do it wether she wanted to or not!
I have some sort of fixation with mummies in my dreams. They are all really scary when I dream about them.
One I used to have every Halloween:
My dad would tell me to go downstairs and feed the fish. I would get all the wasy down and a mummy would jump out of the laundry room and chase me up the stairs again. that dream would happen over and over until I woke up.
Another:
it was night and I could see through my window because it didn’t have any shades. Mummies were maring around in circles in my driveway. Every time one of them passed my window, it would look in. I fell to the ground so the mummies wouldn’t see me when they walked by. if they did, they wuold break my window. It twas extremely scary.
I remember a dream I had about school. In my dream I went to school to find it filled with water!!! We were required to put on our bathing suits and take our new water proof books and stuff to class. It was ao cool!!!!!! But then the school got to much water in it so we had to evacuate and some people drowned.
Freaky yet cool! Don’t you agree?
Boxty you need to check your spelling!!!!!!!!
Did I offend you Boxty? If I did it’s because I was having one of my crazy moments there!! All of us Musers new or old all have crazy moments!!!!
Hi everyone.
Here I am, a 44-year-old person who’s been out of school for 100 years. And STILL I have dreams about forgetting to study for a test, or not remembering where to go for a class.
And here’s the thing: when I was in school (and college) I don’t remember ever worrying about where my classes where — or if I’d forget about a test.
What’s the deal? Is it really worrisome (finding your class — remembering a test) — or am I just making up all this anxiety??
AND — how can I stop having these dreams!!??
Muse rules. Muse readers are my favorite people.
Sincerely,
Nancy
I think I speak for all of us musers when I say that we feel loved!!!!!!
Thanks Nancy!!!!!
It’s not always my spelling that’s off. Sometimes my brain is and I forget to press buttons, forget to look over my comment or I don’t press a button hard enough and the letter doesn’t come up.
A anonomoyous person [I remember that by a-no-no-mo-yo-us] who wishes to remain so once had a dream about a bunch of blundering T-Rexes. I laughed so loud when I heard it my hiccups lasted by recent callculations about 3 eons or so. Well anyway, it was about this fat female T-rex who fell of a waterfall or something like that and she was saved by her fat or something. I’m talking about 7-ton-er T-Rex. So all ha-ha’s to us, eh?
Nancy, I don’t know how my dream interpretation skills are, but I think it’s something like you wish for more goals, you want to do a bit better than you did. Well, if that’s the case, I say go and get ’em. You want to have fun in life, have fun and do something like volunteering or helping little tykes out. Just don’t leave it to the dogs, okay? Good Luck says KitKatUck. (All thanks to this horrible poetry goes to Craw)
Once I had a dream that I was doing some kind of drawing program on the computer, but I was outside in the autumn. I clicked on a black Frisbee on the screen and it came out of the screen and started flying. I grabbed onto it and my dad and mom got hold of it. The black Frisbee thing was starting to fly away with us but my grandfather was still sitting in a chair outside reading a newpaper or something. We called for him to come with us, but he didn’t hear.
The Frisbee took us over some really scenic mountains and valleys in prime fall colors. It started to fall but my dad managed to steer it to a landing place in the middle of a highway. Walking back to our house, I said, “That was fun,” but then I looked into the woods and there was a huge tidal wave coming towards us.
I dream a lot about big waves sweeping me away. Or the world being flooded. This is odd; I don’t have a fear of water or anything. I don’t like diving or swimming deep under water, but I’m really fine with water.
Well I’m going off to have more dreams myself
OK, this is a really wierd dream, but here goes…..
I just fell into a computer game!!!!!!! (I told you it was weird). Hey, look, that is that one really scary dino that… always….. kills….. me when… I…….. oh, dear. AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! It’s running at me AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!
****************************************************************************************************************************************************
Wh…wha….what?!?! Where the am I? Am I in the dino’s stomach? cool.
About then I woke up ’cause my sister turned my light on.

sry people i don’t have dreams! seriously i like black out when i sleep. i don’t even remember anything.
funny story-my friend’s like that too, so she was really tired and fell asleep like after skool and woke up at 6:30 at night and thought it was morning and was like “why didn’t you call me for dinner?” and blahblahblah and she said it took forever for her parents to convince her that it wasn’t monday morning already.
heh. once I dreamt that all my classmates turned into lizards and were swimming around in a lake.
Hi. People may know me from other blogs. Whan I am sick/ about to become sick, I dream that the world explodes, and that it is my fault. It may sound stupid, but it is reeeaaallly scary when I dream it. When I am/was really sick (when I had Bronchitis and did not sleep for a week), the world blows up in a tall mushroom cloud, but when I am only a bit sick, it blows up in a short, broad musroom cloud. I think it has something to do with my cells being exploded when attacked by viruses.
One time, when i fell asleep right after I got home from school (my teacher had yelled at me and told me to “Get on the common sense train”) I had this really complex dream. There was a tidal wave coming, and my only home of escape was to climb uo an extremely steep mountain, using velcro straps. Halfway up, more and more waves started coming, and increasing in height. Then, I saw this misc. girl from my math class also trying to escape. We came to the top, and found a narrow cave wiht the words “Hotel” painted on it in an other language. We understood it perfectly ,though. There was also a mangled skull painted on it. I insisted we stayed there (I do not know why). Monsters dressed in togas and tribal masks started to attack us. We ran into a room that looked like my school gym, but it contained a Yeti. I kicked a bee’s nest, and then suddenly died. I have no clue what happened to the misc. girl in my math class, but I think the bees ate her.
you know, its weird, when i an half asleep i spaz every five seconds or so and i can feel it…… my legs come up then jerk back down, my stomach jolts, and my head goes to the right. this only happens when i am half asleep and i am half dreaming about walking down carpets and i come to the end of them….? (that happens more often then you might think.) i WAS dropped when i was little…………….. mom says it might be a medical problem (she works at the clinic) dad says it is cause i read so much and a a spaz ALL the time, and my sister says its cause i am crazy and need to go to ‘an ashylum’ (she has a slight lisp….) anyway, i just think its strange… does this happen to anyone else?
dreams require sleep. (unless you’re talking about daydreams) sleep is something of the past in my life.
i sometimes twitch in my eye when i’m tired. like really fast, uncontrollable.
actually just a couple hours ago my nose started twitching like that, which it’s never done before. odd.
but no i don’t spaz. not like that.
AAAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGGGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That stupid touch chip! (dad had to use my comp so i have to use my moms windows laptop) stupidstupidstupidstupidstupidstupidstupidstupid! grrr!!!!!!!!!!!!! i HATE the stupid touch chip……. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR! die, touch chip! die, die, die, DIE, DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *starts whacking touch chip* hate windows and stupid stupid touch chip! does not work and freezes comps…..
i just touched the stupid touch chip again, and i must say that it is the stupidest thing in the world of programng……
i had a dream last night that a carnivoruos touch chip was plundged into molten magma along with all the microsoft nasty stuff………. erm……. probably caused by the flu i got from my ickle sister……… grr… i have microsoft-destroying dreams when i get sick……
I have Prophecy (at least I think I do) and the weirdest dreams alweays seem to come true in some way.
Last night, I dreamed *gets run over by a car*
Hmm, I would try to type out my dreams, but honestly, I’ve tried and some of them are just too complex for me to put into words. Has anyone else ever felt like they’re living in two worlds, waking and sleeping, like living two lives? For me, when I dream, it’s vivid, complicated, and sometimes insightful. When I dream, I can feel, hear, see, sense, etc., and the landscapes are all vivid. It really seems like I’m in another world. Has anyone else had this kind of experience?
