A quartet of MuseBloggers, along with assorted parents and one GAPA invaded the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, North Carolina on the last Saturday in March.

Left to right: Midnight Fiddler, Tesseract, kiwimuncher, and Koppar.

This is a small sample. To see additional photos, you can check the NC-Durham Photobucket album. The password is “museblog.”
Cake, I look like such a dork. And my hair is doing some really funky things. *siigh* >.<
Awesome times though.
(*does first post dance*)
Eh, completely undorkish.
I for one love the butterfly wings.
Yes, those wings look great.
1.1~
Thank’ee kindly.
I love Kiwi’s face with the pies, and the air-cannon wars were awesome.
I notice you haven’t yet posted the picture Koppar took of you with the wings? I realize you’re busy, and will put it up as soon as possible. Right? Of course right. *sends telepathic control signals*
Actually, I haven’t received any photos from Koppar, so I couldn’t post that one. There are some similar photos in the Photobucket album though. (Link is beneath the pictures.)
SFTDP but the Koko-handshake-chain picture has become massive, which is great for showing detail, but it’s kind of taken over the recent comments bar….
Oops! Thanks. I forgot to add the width limit. It should be okay now.
3.1~ I looked through them. She said she’d send in pictures as soon as they got them off the camera, and that currently her older sibling(s?) were looking at colleges. So I don’t know when that’ll be, but she hadn’t forgotten.
Awesome! Y’all look like you had a ton of fun.
And Fiddler, I love the butterfly wings.
I love the picture where you guys are afraid of the T-rex. It looks like so much fun!
Maybe we can FINALLY have an NY Kokon this summer. Maybe.
The different reactions to the dinosaur are interesting. Tesseract looks charmed, Koppar looks petrified with fear, and kiwimuncher and Midnight Fiddler look as if they’re throwing invisible pies.
Has an invisible pie capable of effecting T-rexes been created? That sounds like it would be very useful.
8~ It’s because we’re awesome like that. When confronted with a dinosaur, throw invisible pies. What could be more logical or obvious?!
It’s probably as useful as anything else you might do.
10~ Exactly. But if a dinosaur is touchable, by all means, climb on it and take a nap on its head.
FTW!
But of course!
But be sure not to fall off. Heh.
Hey, you were having a nap on its tail.
Ahhh you had better weather than we did
That was me holding the inside out umbrella in our pictures, yes.
The Kokopelli-sign picture is epic! I love the Kokopelli sign.
11.3.1- No, she was falling off.
I’ll send in my pictures tomorrow. (If not tomorrow, then soon.)
FTW = Friend The World.
The world has myspace, Twitter and facebook accounts too!
*thumps fist in palm*
That’s it! Midnight Fiddler, you look exactly like a girl I know from ballet. XD Everyone is so pretty.
16~ I have a twin? Another twin? Cool. It’s not me though, I don’t do ballet.
And aww, thanks!
lol. Awesome pics! ^ ^
I sent in my pictures!
Hurrah!
I love your hair! ((This statement is actually quite normal for me and is used in my everyday “lingo.”
))
Did Koppar’s pictures ever get posted?
They’re in the Photobucket album.
Nothing interesting happens in Pennsylvania…. *sigh*
Really? I didn’t see any new ones….oh well.
Oops! You’re right. I think what happened before was that I tried to post Tesseract’s twice. I’ll have Koppar’s up shortly.
Koppar’s photos from the NC kokonvention are now on display in the NC-Durham Photobucket album (password “museblog”). Hers are the first ten pictures at the top of the album page.
My apologies for the mix-up. I thought I had posted them earlier.
You know, I was just looking at this, and Koppar looks a lot like me! Except I think her hair’s a bit redder than mine, which seems to be slowly turning brown over time, but that may just be due to the different lighting.
