While we’re on the subject of strange election candidate, I read in some book that somewhere in Brazil a chimp ran for mayor. (With the help of humand, of course!) The sad thing is that he got more than a hundred thousand votes and out of 12 candidates (all but him human) he got third.

i have a great idea! GAPA for president! they are actual people, so more likely to succeed than the muses! and they could promise that once they get into office they will giv us complete control. what do the GAPAs think of running for president?
(I know that by the time this is moderated at least one GAPA will have to have read this. I shall be very angry if whichever one you are does not reply immediately. please answer, whoever you are. And that goes for you too, Robert)
When I don’t want to do homework, I usually make posters of the Muses, graphs of MuseBlog stuff, make MuseCasts, etc. I’ve made dozens of other graphs and signs, but I think the GAPAs are already a bit overwhelmed with all the stuff I’m sending…if I sent them all, they’d probably be drowning in PurplePandaProjects. Or something like that.
emmatheduck (50): If the GAPAs ran as a team, I’d like it. One hitch, though: Kokopelli would be a fearsome opponent. No matter who wins, it would take years to scrape off all the pie.

I’m just curious if you guys have a plan as to who moderates when, or if you just sort of check in to see if the posts are moving through, or do you e-mail the other GAPAs to tell them when you’re moderating? I guess my question is do certain GAPAs have fixed moderating times?

We’re not that organized. Basically, we just moderate whenever we are online and feel like it. We’re spread across several time zones, though, and some of us have fairly Web-intensive jobs, so it all works out fairly well.
Suppose Robert and Rosanne run for president and vice president, and so do Rebecca and… wait, PB&J’s British… we’ll have to get another, but they don’t say that they are working for the same organization. That would double our chances. And PB&J could try to become Prime Minister. (America’s not enough!!)
