1. Because everyone would get free pies.
2. Because everyone would have to be stick figures.
3. Because everyone would have to shave their head except for 6 black hairs.
4. Because there would be free pie throwing contests every day.
5. Because his head would look so cool on a coin.
6. Because he would give up all nuclear weaponry in favor of pies.
7. Because it would be funny to see who he’d choose as a first lady (Aeiou? Mimi? URANIA?)
8. Because he would make sure that music programs weren’t cut from schools.
9. Because he’s black, a cartoon character, and skinny. Minorities, people!
10. Because I said so.

6-Meh, I was tired.

8-I’m a she. But honestly, why make ME vice president? It’ll be funnier with someone like Craww or Pwt in that position.

11-Good ‘ol Paint. I used the word tool a lot, and the pie was made using the circle tool. Thank goodness Koko’s so simple to draw. Actually, I used the same drawing of him twice. I just flipped it and changed the position of the arms. I’m lazy. =D

While we’re on the subject of strange election candidate, I read in some book that somewhere in Brazil a chimp ran for mayor. (With the help of humand, of course!) The sad thing is that he got more than a hundred thousand votes and out of 12 candidates (all but him human) he got third.

Everybody! On the Kokonspiracy thread (post 107) Musketeer Number 5 just made a great point: “I have a loop hole! (I kinda skimmed the blog, if this has already been suggested, sryâ€¦)

This is a good point. Everyone but Urania qualifies for this one (since she was created before Gonick’s time) but maybe we can find another loophole to get her into the primaries.

The point of this: Everybody who wants to should make posters and campaign for their favorite Muse. When should we hold the primaries? How about…sometime in early April? (Maybe even April 1st. Lol, April Fool’s Day.)

Anyone can run for president, it’s just there are regulations for holding office. At least I think that’s how it works.

My parents don’t like bumper stickers on the cars or anything…which is sad. I do have everything else decorated though!

33-but I think the requirement fr being president is that you have to actually be born in the US. I could be wrong though.

i have a great idea! GAPA for president! they are actual people, so more likely to succeed than the muses! and they could promise that once they get into office they will giv us complete control. So it’s basically just MBers as president, but it has to be a GAPA officially because they’re the only ones who are old enough.

When I don’t want to do homework, I usually make posters of the Muses, graphs of MuseBlog stuff, make MuseCasts, etc. I’ve made dozens of other graphs and signs, but I think the GAPAs are already a bit overwhelmed with all the stuff I’m sending…if I sent them all, they’d probably be drowning in PurplePandaProjects. Or something like that.

I’m in, as long as it’s understood we’d strictly be puppets. I’m already juggling enough jobs as it is. But the swimming pool would be nice . . . the limo service to cut through DC traffic . . . not a bad view from the house, either.

Now that I think about it, I like the idea of our being a figurehead for a world domination conspiracy of persons not yet allowed to vote.

I’m just curious if you guys have a plan as to who moderates when, or if you just sort of check in to see if the posts are moving through, or do you e-mail the other GAPAs to tell them when you’re moderating? We’re not that organized. Basically, we just moderate whenever we are online and feel like it. We’re spread across several time zones, though, and some of us have fairly Web-intensive jobs, so it all works out fairly well.

In response to being labeled a traitor, I have nothing against Kokopelli! I think he’d enjoy it at first, but wouldn’t want to be president after a while.
Either Kokopelli would not be able to keep up his requirements as president, or he would be miserable doing it.

I’m okay with it. I’ve been called gross and morbid several times at school. ^^ It’s the norm. I just don’t like it when people think I as a person, not just my dumb ideas, am gross… makes me feel I must be unclean.

Hey. My dad’s a lawyer. And he doesn’t make things sticky. Except when he spills sticky stuff on the floor! He’s a labor lawyer and he works for the United Steelworkers. He helps people get their jobs back when they’ve been fired or layed off, etc. for an unlawful cause.
