I really don’t like eath Day. It’s one day out of the year that peole are good to the enviroment, and then they promptly mess the world up the other 363 days of the year. As the motto goes, “Everyday is Earth Day!”
7- I do my best not to mess up the earth every other day of the year. I think I do fairly well, too. I don’t throw recyclable stuff away. Or food. That gets composted.
I like the idea of Earth Day (this is in response to those who don’t), because even if people aren’t good the rest of the year, today still symbolizes the wonderful planet we live in, etc. And this day actually creates awareness so more people will start caring for the environment.
I spent all day outside today! It was really fun…probably one of the best days I have ever had.
my mom and dad spoke to a college class about organic farming on earth day
otherwisw, I didn’t do a whole lot, but I guess as organic farmers we are good to the earth every day
did you know that getting energystar appliances can cut your energy use of that certain appliance in half? yeah i didn’t know that until sunday
21-Im saying to hug a tree because this random group of kids got bored in class and started a “treehuger club” to “save the poor trees in South America being terrorized”
We have a brush pile thing. And bunnies ( not ones though) live in it.
Wow usually the GAPAs like to close a thread as soon as it isn’t being used much. They left this one up. Well, I like the Earth, so I’m glad they left this one up!

We planted several trees today! Yay!
We also replaced almost all of the incandescent lights in our house with fluorescent lights, which are much better for the environment.

I went to the Green Festival in downtown Chicago yesterday. It was pretty cool!

21- No, I don’t think it’s ridiculous. It’s quite marvelous to hug a tree. Even though they don’t talk or pay taxes, they need some love too.
