  11. 10- I’m looking forward to 14. (August.) Anything to stop being 13. Though actually 11 might have been worse. But 11 didn’t have the weird adolescent mood swings. So 13 is worse. But it’s also one of the best years of my life.

  13. 12- Um . . . More than twelve for me. I was barely on the cusp of adolescence at twelve, thirteen is full-on. Of course, I had other problems at twelve… I wasn’t always the most mature kid. Prone to pettiness, I think, and I always wanted my own way. I still do, but now I’m more discreet and accommodating. (Haha, I’m making it sound like it was years ago.) Perfumes smelled different on me too.

  19. 18- Eh, it isn’t that bad. But there’s been some dreadful awfulness. I think it’s smoothing out.

    I feel weirdly mature right now, despite the fact that two hours ago I was practically crying at my immaturity and feeling really petty, so maybe it’s not smoothing out that much…

    You know, I have a really good memory for details, but I can never remember what things were like in general. Most of my life has been really good, so the worst year of my life isn’t that bad.

    The day after my thirteenth birthday was pretty bad.

    I sometimes go on museblog in the New Zealand summer holidays (December to February) and always vow to go on Museblog on my b-day, 19 June (1994) AAAANNNDDD I FORGOT AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT ONE MORE YEAR UNTIL I CAN GO ON MY BIRTHDAY AND DO…UH…whatever it is you do on your b-day…

TNO, just in case no one’s told you, and I’m sure someone has, your birthday is 7-7-7, apparently the luckiest day of the year, and also the worst day of the year, because my next-door neighbor had a wedding, because the day was “lucky”, and he invited most of northern California, and there were cars jammed all the way up and down the street, and IN OUR DRIVEWAY, and our street is a one-lane street, so we had to park a five-minute walk away, and I’m ranting again, and this has to do only slightly with birthdays, and this is an incredibly long run-on sentence, and I should shut up now.
