The latest Hitchhiker’s Guide to MuseBlog (HG2MB) thread gives experienced MBers a chance to tell newcomers about aspects of the blog not covered in The Rules, the HG2MB Page, or the two earlier HG2MB threads: version 2006.1
and version 2006.2. Share your wisdom!
(Please includes in-blog links wherever you think they’ll help.)
The topic I’m going to be focusing on is the Museworld. But not right now.
I’d like to talk a bit about names.
first, you should pick a name that is easy to remember, not too simular to every one elses, and not just a random bunch of numbers. honestly, no one can tell the difference between Kokopelli198 and Kokopelli011. You’ll constantly get mixed up.
We will continue later..
I can’t believe this is starting again! *sings the song that will get me shot if I mention the title* But seriously, what exactly are we supposed to do here? The previous two threads were to compile a more comprehensive guide to the blog. Is that the purpose of this thread as well, or are we veteran MBers going to act as the guides to the newcomers on this thread?
Well, you could define some vocabulary words. A lot of new terms keep cropping up around here (Museica; Hare & Hedgepig, The; Paker), and people encountering them for the first time could well have trouble picking them up from context.
Paker? Even I don’t know that one. What’s it mean?
Is Wung in there? Or Peaceful Pie Planet?
Major apologies for double post, but after I sent that last post I thought of a term that we absolutely have to define: Kokonvention/Kokon. I think a lot of newbies would be lost if they heard that word.
Here’s a definition to help you get started:
wung buttons:
1. Pastries served at the Hare & Hedgepig tea room, so called from their resemblance to wungs and from the button-like sprinkles on top. See wung.
2. A slang term used at Muse Academy, with a nearly infinite variety of meanings inferred from context, e.g.:
2.1. A mild expression of annoyance. Example: “Oh, wung buttons! The blog’s offline again.” See cake.
2.2. Fine, very well. Example: “How are you today?” “Everything is wung buttons, thanks.”
2.3. Insane. Example: “Are you wung buttons? That’s the last thing I’d tell her.”
2.4. Chaotic, topsy-turvy. Example: “The dishwasher is broken, and the whole kitchen has been wung buttons all morning.”
2.5. Madly in love with. Example: “It’s obvious that she’s absolutely wung buttons about him.”
2.6. Nonsense. Example: “He swears it’s true, but it’s all a load of wung buttons, if you ask me.”
Related expressions: the wung’s buttons; the buttons on the wung; as (silly, cute, cozy, neat, happy, etc.) as buttons on a wung; button your wung! and many, many others — wung’s buttons of them, in fact.
Maybe I’ll write about the bunny wars–I’m certainly informed enough on that.
We should mention the term “bunnification”.
Okay:
bunnification: the process in which a Hot-Pink Bunny transforms a human into another Hot-Pink Bunny through a combination of brainwashing, pigment injection, and cosmetic surgery. Horrifying to watch, but even more horrifying to reverse.
(If anyone wants a longer definition, I can give one, but I didn’t want to traumatize the newcomers too much.)
MA- Muse Academy, an RPG based around a school where Muse Magazine is the focus of the curiculum.
yes, i agree with Vixen when it comes to names. choose one that is EASY TO REMEMBER and ppl won’t confuse.
Concerning Alter-Ego thread: when changing names, you can change, then go to a thread that you’ve posted on earlier and copy it in to the ‘Name’ box. (this is only nescessary if you have a name that contains special characters, mine, for example).
Pieceful Pie Planet: Originally started by Shadowkat so many years ago, it’s a peaceful planet. We barter and trade, and currently, on the thread, we have an expedition.
Spdzk points: Started by POSOC, there are a hundred of them total, and are bartered and traded on a regular basis.
“The wedding”: Usually referring to the wedding between Misswann and Red-tailed HAWK, planned on the same day as the May Day Ball, which is here .
Did my link work?
Hare & the Hedgepig, The: A pleasant tearoom in which MuseBloggers can have light conversation or play Paker. No throwing of pies allowed.
2 – But feel free to stick a few numbers at the end of your name as long as you have a distinct name first.
Paker: A game played at The Hare & The Hedgepig. It involves inventing cards and rules, and playing with them. The deck had at least eight suits! The first ever game ending with a bang when a vaccum hit a vortex and the game was sucked up! It is now in the back cupboard, and occasionally ejects marmalade… POSOC has acquired a new deck from the Oasis Marketplace, and a new game will begin in May 2008. Also called Iceland Hold’em. (See The Hare and The Hedgepig, Wungs, Paul Baker, and Eclair.)
11- And intercision (dæmon removal)!
When referring to HPBs, “intercision” has another meaning. *shudders*
Oh, that reminds me:
*shudders*: A common reflexive response to mentions, or even thoughts, of hot-pink bunnies.
Ã߀ƒ = IBCF
Red-tailed HAWK = Rt-H
speller73 = Speller
Cat’s Meow = Meow
Call me Kokonilly.
The Man for Aeiou=TMFA
Put words in between and (without spaces) to make it green.
Put words in betweenand(without spaces) to make it stricken out.Put words in between and (without spaces) to italicize them.
Aww, dangit. It still worked, even with spaces in between.
Anyway, we should have a new HTML tricks thread.
We should tell them what the points are for. There are spdzk points, and piepoints, the rest of the points are from a game on the H&H thread. They are given when a MBer either gets an alter ego correct or does something good, or whenever one WITH points wants to I guess. One with points cannot give more than they have. Also PPP means Pieceful Pie Planet. The PPP is a place where people can escape to when they don’t want to be in war with the HPBs. Many PPP pwners (people who own lands on the pieceful pie planet) go on adventures and have many trading posts.
When one has ** around the words it means and action
EXAMPLE I’m really sad about how Dumbledore died *sobs*
Also, the Kokonspiracy is where we plan…. stuff. We need you so COME IN!!!!
Hmmm. Let’s see…what else…
*thinks* *fails to come up with anything* *walks off dejectedly*
I used to write in catroom language, but now I’ve stopped. I seriously think people shouldn’t write like that. I know it’s a habit, but it’s a rather bad one, so I think you should gradually transfer to normal writing. That soon becomes a habit.
Uh, how about, don’t use really long names ’cause they’re hard to say in casual conversation? (such as in the Hare & Hedgepig)
*notices my own name*
heheh…
Oh yeah, abbreviate my name as TGYPWYA (which is still hard) and aviod the bunny apocalypse, if you’re not already part of it. It’s really gotten violent and disturbing, stick to the peaceful old H&H or the PPP.
27- Have you been following the PPP lately?
Spdzk points: a point system devised by POSOC, who was wondering how far they would spread
Wow! I haven’t been on the other one in millions of years!
Partly because of the llama songs, but we’re not gonna talk about that, are we.
Never again.
30- Here’s a llama there’s a–*is promptly pied*
Here’s a llama there’s a llama, there’s another little llama…
 Sorry…
21- thank you.
PP= Purple panda, Sister of Tiwain Hippo Fan, Co-Creater of MuseCasts
THF= Tiwain Hippo Fan, Sister of Purple panda,Co-Creater of MuseCasts
NaNo=National Novel Writing Month. it’s not just a muse thing, but a lot of us do it. You write a 50,000 word novel in november.
Script Frenzy= Like NaNo, But is April and for Scripts. 100 pages. I won on the 14th, and nobody else has.
I’m singing the llama song:
Here’s a llama
There’s a llama
And another little llama
[Retrosnipped in the interest of common decency. –Admin.]
Sorry I just had to be the first one to ruin this thread with it! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
virtual chocolate: Like real chocolate, only not. Usually given in sympathy or as a birthday present, occasionally demanded as a fine.
“January”: Deep depression and intense sappiness.
34-Please don’t destroy this thread…
*Pleads*
33 – Rub it in, why don’t you?
(About Screnzy, and I’m kidding)
35 – Choklit, you mean?
33- What’s a MuseCast?! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
34 – Hey, I sang it first, I just didn’t type it out.
38 – A Muse podcast, which I believe was organized by Purple Panda.
34- *pies Logogeo for good measure*
For goodness’ sakes, go to the Neophyte thread!
27,28- PPP? WAZZAT?!?!?!
41-Why?
42- PPP stands for the “Pieceful Pie Planet.” (Yes, “Pieceful” is really spelled like that).
16-But you have the wrong numbers at the end of your name!
37- Chocolate.
Okay, peoples, stop fighting.
And now for another definition:
Bunny Hypnosis: An action in which a HPB plants bunny dogma into the brain of a human through hypnosis. There are no outward signs of bunny hypnosis except for major leanings towards anything hot pink. The hypnotized victim ends up a willing servant and spy for the bunnies, unless he or she gets deprogrammed through hypnosis by a human.
34- GGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And at risk of pieing, I introduce the Death Phrase: “We’re all Musers here.”
BEACON=Bunny Elimination And Capture On Net
47- *pies Piggy*
pies piggy.
Pie WAr! PIE WAR!
45 – Okay, my name is outdated. I admit. *will not reveal what her name should actually be*
45- How on Earth can one put the wrong numbers at the end of their names? And I do believe it’s spelled Choquelit.
Or Xoacolatl.
52 – The number I stuck at the end of my name has personal significance. This number has changed as of late March. As you can see, I modified my name.
51, 54-People could figure it out anyway…but “formerly” works well too, that way it’ll still be right when you’re too old as well
52-Ack, no, that’s even worse, it looks far too French. What do people here have against correct spelling?
Contoniueing from Post # 2- NAMES
Some names are long and contain more than one word. Examples-
Vixen in the Eyes of the Moon
Alice of the Many Tons of Homework
The Man for Aeiou
It gets tiring to write the entire name, so we ABREVIATE it.
There are generally two methods of abreviating a name.
method # 1- take the first noun or the main noun and leave it at that.
examples-
Vixen
Alice
Man
*Note. This method is not foolproof. in the case of ‘The Man for Aeiou’, his name would be abreviated to ‘Man.’ Which could actually refer to anyone as it is used in popular slang. (Example- ‘Man, I have a lot of homework.’ ) And it sounds stupid. We therefore turn to Method # 2.
Method # 2- Take the first letter of every word, leaving the CAPITAL LETTERS THE SAME.
Examples-
VitEotM
AotMToH
TMFA
These are INcorrect-
viteotm
AOTMTOH
TmFa
*Note, the Capital letters represent the main words, so therefore ‘tMfA’ is also considered correct.
This post may be continued.
I am NAPOI, but when possible, i would like to be referred to as my whole name or at least NerdAPOI.
Bunny Zombification: A more severe form of Bunny hypnosis, which instead of turning the victim into a willing spy with nearly no outward symptoms, turns the victim into a mindless drone with a blank stare and a tendency to drool.
56- Wow. Why is my name so hard to understand?
Another point about abbreviations of names for newcomers: If your name is multiple words then there’s a good chance people will eventually start abbreviating your name, so it’s a good idea to learn what your initials are so you recognize your own name. The first time Robert ever called me “ETD,” it took me quite a while to figure out to whom he was speaking
(my name, although written as one word, can be shortened to ETD or simply Emma.)
60- but Do not call you Emma The Duck.
34-No. Just no. Please.
I swear, one day I’m gonna hack into the database of any computor that has the llama song on it and delete it until it NO LONGER EXISTS *mad scientist routine*
Should we put the Wrimo stuff on the HG2MB? Just in case:
NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month, which occurs in November, where everyone who wants to signs up and writes a 50,000 word (or more!) novel that’s finished by the end of the month. Prizes: A pretty cirtificate thingy. And bragging rights.
8-And not just MA….
54- Oh! I think I understand the significance of the #. Isn’t it compromising?
I respond to Vendaval, Vendy, Venda, Vend, ect. Just keep the root the same. Although I think someone who’s gone now used Ven, so I don’t know if that’s a good one.
64-Be glad it’s not Ve.
I like the llama song. But what does it have to do with this thread?
61-True. However, even though my name does not and should not have spaces, it still means emma the duck (ugh that looks weird), so it is very, very, very bad to parse it as anything else, such as Em Math E Duck. Someone (on another website) actually thought that was what it was. Math is not a part of my name, I never realized it was a part of my name until others pointed it out, and I refuse to accept that it might be a part of my name. [/rant]
The Man for Aeiou = TMFA. End of story.
You either pie someone when:
You are annoyed with them.
It is their birthday.
They are a neophyte.
You feel like it. ((not recommended))
65- Read the 2006.2 HG2MB thread. And no, you DON’T like the llama song.
67- Congarduations! you are the Third Person To Explain My Name On This Thread! *pies*
69 – Sorry, TMFA. Just trying to clarify.
Mr. Joe is a poor soul who MuseBloggers take their anger out on.
Actually, Mr. Joe is an idiot.
“aren’t we all?
“
:.mrgreen.:
Well that failed.

My friend and I sang the lama song all the way back from track, yesterday! Fun…
If you haven’t already, go to the neophytes thread and reap the benefits of our pastrific hospitality!

Scary Words: “Software Update”
Otherwise known as Pure Chaos, where the GAPAS try to fix the blog (even though there’s nothing really broken), and things go quirky. Sometimes they’re fixed, others you just get used to.
See the last few posts of the below link for a very very good reason as to why you should never ever (not even in dire emergencies) say p***se
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1160
The llama song: Just don’t sing it.
Pwease: Commonly referred to as “the P word”. Don’t say it. Our gag reflexes aren’t as controllable as you think.
The May Day Ball: A ball currently going on this thread.
Please make my link work!
77-It’s not spelling, that’s what’s wrong with it!
just so everyone knows, sometimes you will get a blank post when you try to type in green. it happend to me. oh, someone may have coverd this, but if you use internet explorer the text box may shrink as you type. that can be averted by using firefox of safari. i for example, am using firefox on my mac laptop. actually, its my mothers.
en: A gender-neutral pronoun.
[possessive form: ens. –Admin.]
Name changes: Can confuse people. Especially if they go away for a few months and come back and you’ve changed your name two or three times, which can lead to said person thinking you might be a neophyte. Or if you go away for a while, and come back with a different name.
84 – I agree. Someone thought I was a neophyte after I changed my name. So, in your name slot, put:
Kokonilly))

Kokonilly (former fellowmuser)
There. That clears things up, no?

More definitions:
Bunnification: An extremely unpleasant process in which a Hot Pink Bunny injects some of its hot pink pigment into a victim, turning the victim hot pink and filling the victim’s brain with bunny dogma. Then the bunny makes surgical adjustments to the victim, to make him or her look more like a bunny. Reversible by debunnification, but it’s not easy.
Debunnification: The process in which a bunnified victim is returned to almost normal. The patient gets depigmentized, and has the bunny dogma removed from his or her brain. Corrective surgery then gets rid of the physical adjustments that the bunny made.
-11 I’ll talk some more about the bunny wars.
First, what it a Hot-pink bunny, (hpb)
The hpb is a extremely violent leporine character. they were once harmless images that appeared in Muse to cover up anything in “muse mail” that concerned cats or dogs. but moving on, a glossary of current terms concerning bunnies, bunny wars, and everything remotely realted.

POST!
The Flamablamablous Konspiracy : A conspiracy started and explained by this post quoted from a ‘kokonspiracy’ thread:
2. speller73 | January 1st, 2008 at 10:55 am
I also have a strange idea that requires everybody’s help to work. Every year, Merriam-Webster crowns a word word of the year. The nominees for word of the year are decided by the most looked up words on their website in their normal or open dictionary (a dictionary where anyone can add a word). I noticed that flamablamablous was in the open dictionary. If we all look up flamablamablous a lot this year, it could become the 2008 word of the year, which would result in a lot of people finding out about Muse.
(end quote)
Here’s the link to look up ‘flamablamablous’:
http://www3.merriam-webster.com/opendictionary/newword_search.php
Argh! I went and looked it up, and its no longer there!
What to do?
Woe the day!
Oops, that’s the wrong link in post 91- here’s the correct one: merriam-webster.com/opendictionary/
When you follow the link, go to the bottom of the page. There’s a search engine. search ‘flamablamablous’ It’ll take you to th edefinition, and right under the definition, there’s another search engine. Copy and paste ‘flamablamablous’ into this search engine. It’ll take you to the definition again, which counts as though someone searched the word again, helping to boost the number of times ‘flamablamablous’ has been searched, thus helping ‘flamablamablous’ win Word of the Year 08.
Resubmit it?
http://www3.merriam-webster.com/opendictionary/guide.php
Yes, I might consider that…Just to prove my devotion to the Kokonsipracy, ‘cept its more fun to MB procrastinate than to porcrastinate in ways that are seriously profitable to the human race…
95- It works when I look it up. *is confused* Are you spelling it right? ‘flamablamablous’
93- I’ll do it
The Kokonspiracy:

About when are you going to add all this to the HG2MB?
Please do!
I think we need to cover language restrictions on this thread. On the Harry Potter, Summer 2007 thread, there was a bit of discussion about some “language” that I-Man posted. Please post some of your opinions on what words should be allowed.
No one posts here anymore.
I didn’t realize it was still open!
GAPAs, could we have a new thread?
Oh, and I’ve come up with a new name for the GAPAs. The AKAs- All-Knowing Administrators.
Dangit! The browser closed and lost my post! Or did it? Did I submit it? Well, if I did and this is a double post, I apologize. If not, here’s a summary:
Y’know how you can make :idea:s here on MB? Wouldn’t it be sweet if we could also make, say, pies or Kokopellis?

P*ease make pie/Koko smileys!!!!!!
(108, 109) We’ve tried to design Koko smileys in the past, but it’s hard to make him recognizable with so few pixels to work with. A pie might be easier. We’ll look into it.
To add a smiley, however, we’d have to take another smiley away. We’ve been reluctant to do that, but maybe MuseBlog could live without
.
110- I don’t think anyone uses
or
.
Why not
They should
What’s “p*ease”? Is “please” forbidden on here or something?
(113) “Please” is fine. We heartily recommend its use. It’s that other word that makes GAPAs shudder. Check the glossary on the HG2MB (not this thread, but the main guide found by clicking the button at the top of the page).
(114) I created a new Ships’ Logs thread hours ago, but for some reason it didn’t post. It’s up and ready for you now.
115 – Oh. *hates annoyingly cutesy words, too*
I think the reason no one uses
and
is because it’s easier to just type ! and ? . Also, the point of emoticons is to show emotions, and those emotions (surprise and confusion) are pretty much taken care of by
and
.
As for new smileys, how about a smiley having an idea? It could be an animated one, starting off as
and turning into
with a lightbulb over its head. You could type in :eureka: to make it.
116- Yes, I’m already there. Thanks.
Or we could do away with . I’ve never seen that used either.
Oops. It should’ve said
.
119 – But it can be used to show a smiley turning into another smiley, in SSSSs. For example:
Although I suppose you could also write it:
Could we have a pie

, because that way you’d have to write
instead, making the MB a much happier place !
We could get rid of the
The pie
would be used like this:
Good argument, but :piesmiley: !

It would help with polite disagreements and also be a Kokopelli
122) Pwease
Pwetty Pwease
NEVER SAY THE P-WORD!!!!
[/rants]
122) YES! The emoticon I’ve been waiting for all my life!
or
or
, because nobody ever had a use for them when we can make an –> or an ‘!’ or an ‘?’. A pie would be much more flamablamablous.
Pretty please, GAPAS, make it so! However, two happies makes better than one… I think it should be someone ike the
Would it be a smiley throwing a pie, or just a pie?
125) A smiling pie !
Just a pie. Probably a top view, as if you were above it looking down. Still, it would be difficult to create, especially for busy grown-up folk. Is there any way I could work on it and email it in, or does it have to be created in WordPress?
So, I take it there isn’t any way for me to help? I apologize for my terrible impatience.
(128) You can give it a try. I won’t have time for the next couple of days at least. The trick is fitting it into a 15 x 15 pixel space, if I recall the dimensions correctly. A GIF file, I think. Sorry, we didn’t mean to ignore you but this has been a deadline-laden week.
129- I’ll give it a shot. And don’t worry about the ignoring thing. I know you didn’t mean to.
Well, I’ve sent them in, more or less. The top view one isn’t great, but I’m somewhat pleased with the thrown ones. For only about an hour of work, anyway. I’ve never been an amazing artist, whether digital or otherwise, except in music. And now I’m rambling. Ramble, ramble, ramble…
Now, to decide which emoticons to remove… I say either
or
. What does everyone else think?
I vote
, personally. Especially if it’s going to be replaced with a pie.
I think
should be removed, too.
could be used to represent a wung, since no one knows what they look like.
Well, I made a pie from above (which isn’t a great one), as well as a pie thrown right and a pie thrown left. Which of those do you want?
Piggy: Your pies are lovely. I think we’ll adopt the face-on and thrown-right ones, but there won’t be time today. Coming soon!
I vote
.
138- Why, thank you! I appreciate the complement. So, will we replace
and
, or
and
?
I think
for the face-on pie and
for the rightward-flying pie.
does indeed make a very good wung.
141 – Aw. No more
When the pie smileys are made, what will we type to make them? How about :pie: and :piethrow: ? When the pie smileys are made, we can make SSSSs with smileys pieing each other! Meanwhile, I shall start the tradition of SSSSs with wungs in them. I will also post a tribute to our friends
and
on National Emoticon Appreciation Month.
Adding on to 143:
Can the GAPAs even change the text in the smiley shortcuts? The : idea : one was never changed to :hpb: or something like that…hmmm.
144- I don’t think the text can be changed, no. I hope the smileys get here soon
Let me guess, no pies yet.
I shall mourn the loss of
.
After thinking it over, the pie thing doesn’t seem like the best thing to do. Nobody uses pies on here, except on the Neophytes thread and on multiple war threads which I don’t go on. Whatever floats your boat!
146 – Yes, I agree.
146- WHAT? No! We need pies! Instead of
, we can just do –>…
148- I wasn’t complaining about loosing
. Well, I was, but not the second part. I was questioning the nessecity of the pie.
Hm. Lady Bunniful took the smilies off her Photobucket page. I was going to let you all go see them, but I guess she wants them to be a surprise.
Yes, that’s just the holding page when we forward stuff from email. From there I file everything into subfolders..
Is there an estimate as to when you’ll not be as busy? I’m just a terribly impatient person; I’m sure you know that by now. I’m just quite excited and anxious to see new smilies on the ‘Blog. But now I’ll leave you GAPAs alone. Please, don’t postpone other things to make the smilies, though. Life first, MuseBlog second, I always say, or at least I will now.
I don’t see why we need two pie smileys. One could be useful, but why do we need to see the pie from two angles? Still, I’m excited to see the pies. If we ever make a new smiley again, I might like to try making it. Especially if we ever make the idea one.
I started with making the top-view one, but it didn’t turn out like I had wanted, so I made some side-viewed thrown pies as well. I sent in all three, just in case. Post 152?
154) The top one would probably be best, because the pie should smile.
!
, but since they don’t have it, they use the closest Smiley,
or
or
. All of these very happy smileys will cause the other bloggers mirror neutrons to fire, creating a very, very happy blog and the impression that MBers are perpetually mischeavous, since you can never trust someone with a big smile and a pie in ens hand…
REASONS TO LOSE
When you read this, it’s probably surprising, but it makes the most sense. Consider this logic:
MBers need to express
155- But we throw pies, not make them smile. Besides, I’ve only got a 15 by 15 pixel space with which to work. And I’d have to go back, make a new smiley, send it into the GAPAs, and wait another long while. I say we ditch the top view and go with the pie thrown right.
156) But the point was that the pie grins at you-before hitting you square in the face. The way MBers pie -phytes…
But I guess it’s okay if it’s to much work.

thanx for making the pie, smiling or not
157- I guess I just don’t see the point of a smile on a pie. I think the thrown pie is quite adequate for what we do here on the ‘Blog. However, it’ll be a while before the GAPAs have time to make it work, so I’ll think about trying to put a smile on it.
(157, 158) I’m not sure how a pie with a smile would look notably different from a regular smiley, given the constraints of the medium.
My only suggestion is you might try adding ventilation slashes to the top of the crust. But if that doesn’t work, what you have is fine.
159- For the top-view one, it was supposed to be a custard pie, and that shows everyone how dang hard it is to make it actually look like something.
(160) Speaking as one who does indeed know how hard it is, I extend to you my deepest empathy.
So when are they coming???
161- I appreciate it. I still say don’t use the top-view one; I only sent it because I had made it first.
thanx again, piggy.
162) They will come when they will come, and not a minute earlier or later.
Why can’t my mac see the pies ? Is it to old ?
(166) Refresh your browser or clear its cache.
167) Wow ! I love the pies !

22- How do you bold the words?
169 – [b] and [/b] with the greater-than or less-than signs instead of the [ and ].
Oh. Hey, that doesn’t make any sense! I’ll just survive without these thingys.
171- Do you see the list of HTML below the comment box? Do you see how they have the sideways arrow things? Just put one of them before the words you wish to alter, type the words, then put the HTML after the words, but with a “/” before the letter. For this example, pretend [ and ] are the arrow things, or greater than / less than signs. [b]This text would be bold.[/b] This text would be normal. Do the same thing for [em], [i], [strike], [code], and [strong]. Really, though, the only reason I knew how to do it when I came here is that I had previous experience with HTML. I could only make rather crude web pages, but they were pages nonetheless.
A definition!
MuserHumor: A strange, evil, complicated kind of humor. Basically, just about everything funny on this blog is MuserHumor. If you don’t have a brain that can process such diffucult things such as MuserHumor and long words, perhaps this blog isn’t the blog for you…
Yes, and if it doesn’t make sense to those weird ‘normal’ people, that is very likely MuserHumor.
