60- You can set your keyboard to work in other languages. I only know how to do so on Windows, though, so if you have a Mac or something running Linux, I couldn’t help you. I’m sure you can also just go to the Character Map and copy them.

“Por fa'” is sort of a contraction of “por favor”, if you didn’t know that already. I added the “pero” in the second to last sentence to make it read better.
I’m not sure what you mean with that second sentence. “In all forms, Muse is the best magazine”?
I suppose I should translate for the non-Spanish-speaking people.

(91) There are various ways. If you’re on Windows you can use Character Map (under Programs > Accessories >System Tools) or you can use Alt+assorted number pad keys (Alt+0233 = é, for example). You can no doubt find a list through Google. If you’re on a Mac, someone else will have to fill you in.
Or you can just copy and paste from the list I added at the top of the page.

92- Or you can do as I do and simply add Spanish as a possible language for your computer. Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region -> Regional and Language Options -> Keyboards and Languages -> Change Keyboards. Then you just switch to whatever language you want, and then you can easily switch between languages with the language bar on the taskbar. Or you can do the character map or whatever.

Enfin quelqu’un qui parle français ! J’ai passé le DELF B2 hier, et depuis je n’arrête pas de parler français. Ma mère en a marre et ma soeur a un accent qui m’énerve. J’espère que mon diplôme sera envoyé bientôt. Est-ce que les FEPA (formidables et puissantes administrateurs) peuvent parler français ? Sinon, il serait un peu difficile de bavarder. I’m so excited that I finally get to take Spanish next year! I’ve been sitting in on my school’s Spanish I class whenever I’ve been able to this year so I’m doing Spanish III/IV as a freshman. The class isn’t very much fun, but it’s so nice just to be around the language again.
And also! There’s a bit of a chance that I might be able to go to a dual-immersion camp this summer! For two weeks! In Minnesota! -hopes fervently-

Pas mal ! J’aime aussi beaucoup le français. Pour ça, il y a trois raisons:
1) Ma mère adore le français et elle m’a enfin convaincue
2) Pendant mon sejour dans les carraibes, je n’ai pas eu assez de livres. J’étais à guadeloupe, et il y avait de que des livres français. Si je voulais continuer à lire, il me fallait apprendre le français. Je l’ai donc appris.
3) Les ados dans ma classe sont terribles, et je suis la meilleure et donc le chouchou de la maîtresse.

I find I confuse people with my way of talking, since I say words in Japanese or German, but primarily English.
Hello: Usually say “Heya” or “Konnichiwa,” but for good morning and good night I say “guten morgen” and “gute nacht.”

Sorry: “Sorry” if offhand, but usually “gomen nasai.” If I’m thinking enough about other languages, I’ll say, “Hontou ni gomen nasai.”
I also say “thank you for the meal” and “ohisahiburi,” and sometimes I’ll ally call my teachers “sensei,” but I correct myself. And rarely, I’ll read a single word (like on a sign) with the pronounciations of Japanese words in the Roman alphabet.
I also eat my lunch with my chopsticks, and I wash them with the dishes. I pull them out before my parents notice, since they think I’m weird enough as it is. Yes, I tear up my sandwiches and eat them with chopsticks. And it’s possible to eat applesauce in under two minutes or so with chopsticks.
But I have to keep this at a minimum around my family since they don’t really encourage multi-cultural blending. I can speak some German around my gramma though.

I’m afraid we overworked GAPAs can’t continue posting online translations in languages we don’t understand. We promise to read (and, presumably, understand) everything that goes on the blog. I’m not sure it falls quite into this thread… but as it is about language: I’m seriously debating using ‘royal we’ when I speak. The only concern I have is frustrated adults (i.e. teachers), but at the same time, such a fun variation on English looks too good to pass up.

J’aime bien apprendre le français! Ça me plait beaucoup de savoir une autre langue, et le français, c’est une belle langue. Quelque fois, la grammaire est très ennuyant, mais ça va. J’apprendre le Français trois fois par semaine: c’est ridicule. Deux fois à l’Alliance Francaise (dans une classe d’environ douze ou treize gens, habiteuellement des adultes) et une fois à la maison avec une professeuse. Je préfere les classes à l’Alliance Française, car j’aime bien le professeur. Il est très interéssant.
