Haa, excuse double post. I won’t be on much the next four days, because I’ll be at ANIME EXPO!! YAY! I’m so excited. CLAMP is going to be there, and if you don’t understand how big that is, too bad for you.

Wow, it’s July. I didn’t know that. *smacks self in the head.*
Yesterday, I went sailing! It was so much fun although there wasn’t much wind and there wasn’t a deck cleat for the main halyard and the tiller extention was broken and there weren’t cleats for the main sheet, and they used a halyard for the mainsheet (we rented the boat) but it was fun anyway!!

They’re fireworks! Squeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
I think the 4th has to be my favourite holiday.
I’ll probably be going to the Pier either alone or with a few friends. Aw – *smacks forehead* – I still have to buy fireworks! The little ones that cost like 75 cents are purty neat.

Well I’m off to work now…*sigh*
Oh, snap. Cherry Festival starts tomorrow. That means no driving. Anywhere. All because of the stupid tourists wandering the streets who can’t locate one of the maybe 750 maps that the tourism dept or whoever they are put everywhere downtown, as well as on every block of the bike trail. *Sighs again* I hate Cherry Festival.

July 4th is my parents’ anniversary.. it was the only day both of them got off from work..
7- ooh, sailing, that sounds fun. do you do it often?
8- there’s some website where you click on the screen and it sends up a virtual firework, complete with sound effects.. I forget where it is, though..
4- ooh, I want to be a sim..what do you mean by description, though? physical? personality? what?

Psychadelic!
*sigh* I’ll be marching on the fourth…2.6 miles…and freshies to keep in step. Ah, the joys of the parade.
Oh well. Fun times anyway.
I’m going to Blue Lake the second (?) week of July, and then to GR for a few days. Band camp starts August 4th, then skool starts sometime after that. Mebbe third wk of august? idk.

Hey all I just arrived back here from deep space whats shakin bacon? Ohhhh and I just read a great book on Sir Issac Newton! It was very good but right now I am sad ’cause I learned that agassi lost to a guy who’s #2 in the world, Nadal I think still. This is his last wimbledon and he lost during the 3rd round. Ahhh but he is sorta getting kinda old for the sport he started at wimbledon in 1992 against the tennis bad boy and got wimbledon but Alas this is not his last game he still has the U.S Open. Oh and if you didn’t notice my newest obession is Tennis.

5- CLAMP? Wow. Moste of the few manga books I’ve read are by them…
9- Cherries? What the…?
I was at a Red Barons game last night, which was the reason for my lack of posting. I couldn’t find a single reading person! Aargh! But I did see a lady with a TSO shirt so I was like, “Hey, cool shirt.”
Less than a week until I go to Mexico. Somewhere near the Mayan ruins. Our plane lands at Cancun, but the hotel is not there…

we got back from CA where we went to visit relatives and such a few days ago, and ever since I’ve been having trouble falling asleep.. I guess it’s the time change, and also not being in a noisy apartment with doors banging and whatnot (we were staying with my bubbe)… it was really fun, though- we go every summer, and this time I didn’t go to camp there but we did visit relatives and friends and eat lots of sourdough bread and go to Saul’s and King Tsin’s and Stinson Beach… I love the bay area..

I just went to a Bar Mitzvah, where I realised I liked a guy with the same name AND last initial as my first kiss. Kinda like The New Adventures of Old Christine… now its the new adventures of old B.S.
Yeah, but still…. I’m never gonna see him again, might as well forget him.

Hi!
No, I’m not at camp yet. I’m in Berkeley, I drive up to camp tomarrow.
I like the pic of Urania for this thread it is exciting.
Axa, the Anime Expo sounds awesome! I’m not hugely in to Anime, but I think it’s really cool gnarly.
I went to a musical today called The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. It was hilarious, and really fun because I got to be in it!
Before the show, the went around asking people if they wanted to be spellers in the spelling bee, and I volunteered. I got to sit on the stage right inbetween all the actors while they were singing and stuff. And then they called my name and I had to go up and actually spell a word as part of the musical. I had to ask for the deffintion of it and ask them to use it in a sentance (they told me to before the play started).
I had to spell twice. The first time my word was “mexicans” and I nearly cracked up right on stage because I had to ask them what the deffinition of mexicans was, and for them to use it in a sentance. I was laughing so hard, I nearly spelled it worong.
The second time, I got a harder word. “schuse” (I think that’s it). OK, it’s not that hard but I suck at spelling. I spelled it wrong, so I had to go back into the audience. But it was really fun.
They even had us join the dance routine. They just grabbed our hands (us being me and the other volunteers) and were like “ok in a second we’re all stepping left”, and “ok,now all of you hold hands and jump together”. It was SO funny, because none of us knew what we were doing until the last second.
Sorry for that incredibly long post. But it was just so amazingly fun I had to rave about it.

hi everyone! I won’t be on much (actually probably at all) this week because this Saturday is my bat mitzvah. Then the Tuesday after that one of my really close friends is moving across the country, so I will be spending the Monday in between my bat mitzvah weekend and Tuesday with her. Then another one of my close friends is coming here from Colorado (where she lives) for my bat mitzvah and staying at my house for a few weeks after my b.m. So, basically, I’ll be really busy this week and part of next, and then not as busy the next couple weeks. And then in August I go to camp. Phew.
like rosanne said, early mazel tove, brave sir robin.

I promise, this is my real last post for a while. Remember the links by special request? Well, they are about my bat mitzvah project, and since a big part of my bat mitzvah project is raising awareness about this organization, I figuered I could raise awareness to some musers as well as all the other people.
Go to those links, and please read the story! People in Africa are dieing because they don’t have any clean water. Go! Now!
(sorry if I got a little carried away there, but I feel pretty strongly about this- it is my bat mitzvah project!)

I’m not really doing anything special for the fourth. Just watching fieworks. Cool links, Robin. But what do you mean your bat mitzvah project?

My grandparents live in a very affluent, white neighborhood. I went to a 4th of july “kickoff party” down the block, and there was not one person of color. So much for America’s values.
I live in a mostly black neighborhood. Because of our unfair economy, it is also a poorer area. equality?

BSR: Congrats! What portion are you doing?
My Bat Mitzvah isn’t untill memorial day, 2007. Its postponed because of the Pituitary Tumor. Theres only going to be 10 people in the shul while I’m reading. Why? So theres as little stress as possible.

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT BULLETEIN FROM THE HEART OF CY

And all cool peoples with Firefox must download Internote. Unless, for whatever unfathomable reason, they dislike stickies.

Mazel tov! I have never been to such a celebration, considering that in South Carolina (especially my area) people look at you funny if you say you practice religion but Christianity, if they don’t just plain stop looking at you and never speak to you again. Aargh. Igsome DIRPs. Anyways, you’ll have to tell us all about it Brave Sir Robin!
America isn’t the place of complete equality we claim to be. Sure, we’re better about it than some other places, but all of our presidents have been white Christian men. If that isn’t bias, I don’t know what is.
That Urania picture is totally happenin’.

55- yeah, the same thing happens here in the deep-fat-fried heart of Texas.. ick. Anyway, mazel tov to BSR!
So I started fooling around with my viola today.. changed the strings, played a bit.. I love violin, but viola has a nice rich tone and a c-string.. although I actually sound more like a violist on the low registers of my violin than I do on my viola.. although I don’t play out of tune enough to _really_ sound like a real violist …

5 (Axa)- CLAMP? Oh, you lucky, lucky girl. I wanna go! I wanna go! Unfortunately, I live in Illinois. *tragic sigh*
I live in a pretty liberal area, and many neighbouring suburbs are predominantly (or at least a lot) Jewish. So I went to a lot of bar/bat mitzvahs last year. They were fun.
Como es Internote? (I have Firefox. Firefox pwns IE with a spork. Get it.)

BSR: that story is really wonderful! that’s a great thing to do for a bat mitzvah!
our economy is unfair, but when you put things in perspective there are worse things. compared to much of the rest of the world almost the entire population of the US is very wealthy, and compared to some of the atrocities that have been commited based on faith or race far outstrip what goes on in the US. still, it’s wrong, and we should work to stop it.

I bought Dial-A-Song by They Might Be Giants yesterday!

66 (FF)- Awww… I love fireworks. Ours are awesome. The city (if you know me even slightly, you’ll know which city I’m talking about) has theirs today instead of on the fourth, so we can go see both if we want. (I’m not, because I prefer the internet and have no life.)

“a pretty liberal area, and many neighbouring suburbs are predominantly (or at least a lot) Jewish.”
If you didn’t live in Illinois, i would swear you were talking about where i live…unfortunately i missed all the bar/bat mitzvahs cuz i just moved like a year ago…
Parade tomorrow. Joy. I still don’t know where my shirt is either. I think it’s being washed as we speak. Hopefully.
Hermann was there today *groan* at least i won’t have to sit next to him this year. he’s freaky.
we had like 10 trumpets today. among the added including that mini freshie who dropped his mouthpiece at graduation. he kept pointing his trumpet at the ground. it was kinda funny cuz you could hear schneids yelling at him and then suddenly the music had a pause in it and then he sounded really loud and the kid like jumps and puts it up.
oh and weckstein and tory apparentely broke up-i say apparantely because this is like the third time they’ve “broken up” but actually i think this might be for real. Anyway, very overly dramatic time. *sigh*
I am wet. It started lightning, so we went inside for the last 5 min, and then when we got out it was pouring and sarah and i were dancing around and singing “singin in the rain” and i remember that she’s wearing a white shirt and i’m like “um you’re wearing white” and she’s like “aaah!” so we ran.
haha and it was also funny cuz i have on my old swim team shirt (tie-dye, not white luckily lol ) and on the back it says “Very dangerous when wet” so i can go terrorize people going “mwahaha i’m wet!!!”
Fun fun. Off to terrorize lb before i dry off.

Sweet Melpomene (54),
I installed internote for Firefox and it’s really neat. BUT I can’t think of any reason to actually use it. I love stickies (my actual and virtual desktops are covered with them!) but I don’t find myself wanting to use them on webpages in particular.
What sort of thing do you use it for?
0
0
71- I usually stick them on the last posts I read on MB. So when I load the threads up againe the next day, I don’t spend too much time scrolling up and down…:) Or if I read stories online, I use them as markers…I tried using a program that hi-lites text, but those marks dissappeared after I closed the tab, so I just use stickies.

69 (Gwen)- Hmm.. Do you want her to look powerful and mysterious, or just leprechaun-ish? If the former, I’d give her long hair and a lot of leafy clothing, maybe with something gold on. If the latter, green and gold all the way. Tacky suit, top hat, le shebang whole.
Where do I get Internote? Is it just on the Firefox webpage?
0
0
Pentatonikk (77): You can find it by searching with the terms mozilla and internote.
It acts a little funky on my computer (a mac laptop). Or maybe I just haven’t mastered it yet.

I think flowery with a top hat in various shades of green with hints of gold would be spiffy.
Hmm.. Internote sounds handy!

Hi FF and Robert. The weather’s great here today in the San Francisco Bay Area. In my neighborhood, it’s sunny and the thermometer outside my door reads 71.7 F. I went for a walk and saw two monarch butterflies put on a show in a nearby front yard.
The weather varies a lot around here, though. For all I know it’s cold and cloudy just a few miles away.

PP (94),
Good to see you!
Rosanne (93),
It’s hot and muggy here, and a thunderstorm just hit. I enjoy thunderstorms, but I hope this one doesn’t wash out the fireworks on the Mall. I’ve got a great (indoor) viewing place lined up, if they happen.

I hope that thunderstorm passes FAST and makes way for the fireworks, Robert.

Hey, we had a thunderstorm here too! but it was really quick. we’ll be going back to the park for fireworks since the rain’s stopped. I can’t believed it rained on the fourth of july of all days. Though the rain is quite wondrous :]

My life is complete.
I met Quinton Flynn.
-dead in the ground-
And I got to see The Conqueror of Shamballa. I could die right now, I’m so happy. There’s more, but I still can’t ype coherently.
The storm passed, after knocking down trees and power lines and leaving 31,000 Northern Virginians (including my aunt and uncle) without electricity. The fireworks, however, were great! Red seemed to be the “in” color this year. While the big show was going on, smaller displays in Arlington and Falls Church vamped away alongside it, modest but joyous. Much better than watching it on TV.

It rained on my parade…literally. Soggy is not usually a word that can describe a parade, but I think that in this case, it will do quite fine.

Heh. Rain. It rained here too. A nice march in the rain, then back into the house to drown in the shower. Odd that people tend to want to get more wet whenever there’s rain. Seems a heater would work just as well. or something. anyway, then i hung around until about 8, when dad and i rode our bikes to wolf park to “see the festivities” Not very festive, it rained and there was hardly anybody there. We got very wet again. It was fun. Then we took another shower. And got wetter. And fell asleep. we didn’t go to the fireworks, nobody really felt like it. So yah. That’s mine celebration…
Today i had to get up at 9 for a dentist appointment and now i have a haircut at 4. I’m not happy. NOT HAPPY. Grrr…

I was at Random Picnic A yesterday. Which was boring until I got a book from the people who were having the party. They said I could keep it. Yay, books. It didn’t rain, by the way.
Aargh. I am leaving tonight (5-6-ish) for Philadelphia. Where I will spend the night and then take an early flight to Mexico. I have a carry-on and a purse *coughcoughratherlargemessengerbagcough* stuffed with books. And Muse. So I can take my picture with it. By some random ruins. w00t.

Click it. Click it hard. (Note to OEADs: It’s just the RRR.) C’mon! I don’t want to write this thing by myself just because it’s disappeared from the first page!
It didn’t rain here. My sister and I dug a hole up to my waist while wating for the fireworks to start. We were at the lake. They pwned. I took a picture of the hole with my cell phone, but I don’t think it turned out too well. Mostly it looked like sand… (Hmm. I wonder why.)
[Darthmeister, you know we’re not keen on external links. So I’ve snipped them. How about if you tell us what’s tickling you. If MuseBloggers want to find out more, they’ll track down more info. — Rosanne]

Sweet Melpomene: Nope, I’ve never heard of it/them/whatever. Methinks and explaination is in order. I just watched the first two tapes of Pride and Prejudice. I don’t know which version it is, but it’s not the newest one. It’s pretty, um, righteous.

Is it the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice — with Colin Firth? I’ve watched that so many times I’ve lost count. (I like it.)

Hello, all!!! Good-bye all.
I’m at the hotel by the airport in Phily where I commandeered the computer, so I must be swift before someone needs to check their flight times.
YKM- It is a comedy troupe that pulls major pranks such as flooding Best Buy with agents all wearing blue polos and khakis. Very froody.
Well, I have three advance hours of check-in time. Bloody international flights.

Salut les copaines!
I am at the moment in my parents’ hotel room typing on my pater’s laptop computer and the complimentary highspeed internet connection, which is ethernet and not wireless, which means the front desk was wrong. Oh well. Also, there is a mirror in front of my desk, and there’s a creepy person looking back at me as I type, so this may not be edited or error-free, so bear with me.
So far this summer I have worked my tail off and had more fun than I would have had electrocuting my pleasure center. I have banned chick books and Regency novels from my cabin area. I am somewhat reddened, definitely freckled, filled with all sorts of delicious fried seafood (it’s the wrong time of year for lobster) and mostly cut off from civilization like a Rider Haggard novel, but doing great and getting taller, also losing some weight.
For the record, this is the last time I will forseeably get on the MB before August 15 or so, but I did check up on you froods and it doesn’t look that bad. I have many new ideas for the MUSE-ical and hope to bounce them off you in future. Please don’t miss me too much, go and check on Kiador every now and then, because I’m still rather worried but on the other hand the civil war must have calmed down, because I can sleep at night. I have a copy of every single Adams book, and enough books to read, and I’m learning some cool types of dancing and stuff. I hope you guys make it-GAPA, darling dream-rabbits, please keep these guys in line! I won’t get to read what you post, but while you’re there:
Who wants to be in the Museical?
Any songs?
Any ideas for advertising campaigns for it? I think a picture of a teenager reading the mag at a baseball game would be cool. Cronkite or tassel, you pick.
The last MUSE was fabulous-the animal cannibalism article was great and we heard about ethnologists and ethologists (a subtle distinction, but a distinction nonetheless). Note, please, note, Cedar, that I brought a copy of Ape and the Sushi Master with me. And that someone I know just said she wanted to teach de Waal the Macarena.
I’ve got to go. Love you to, you’re all lovely dream rabbits, I miss you, and wait until I come back to your side and get back regularly on the Museblog. Rock on, froods!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO,
Her Majesty Queen Julietaini the Froody of Kiador

Good to hear from you, QJ. Have fun, and send up a smoke signal when you get a chance.

Queen J! Nice to hear from you. It sounds like you are having a truly shiny time, whilst the rest of us geek out on the internet. Such is life.
But… does de Waal already know the macarena? It’s pretty popular.

Queenie j! Hello! Your summer sounds much more fun than ours here. Ooh, i’ll be in the museical! kewleroonies.
My ipod is having issues. I took it to the geek squad today, and they seemingly fixed it, but now it won’t load more than 59 songs for some odd reason. So i’m trying to download this updater thing, which i don’t think will help but i’m gonna try anyway. If that doesn’t work, i’ll have to go see the them again tomorrow-we’ll be at easton watching POTC 2!!! Anyway, i g2g now, stupid thing *kicks comp* I’ll be at Blue Lake for a bit, i’ll probably get on here before i leave and suchlike. Sometimes i really hate mac…grrr

Ah, yes. I would like to be in the Muse-ical. It sounds extremely froody, and like the kind of acting I could do.
129 (Ebeth)- Blue Lake, as in the band geek camp? Sweet. I should have auditioned for that…

Ooh! OOH! Pick me for the Muse-ical!! As for songs, I’m sure some fantastical idea will pop into my head before I know it. Bye SM and hi/bye Queenie J!
128- I wanna. Wallace and Grommit are the bomb.

#75: (DY) …LOL for like 5 minutes…: )
Blue Lake sounds inc. cool…I always wanted to go to the chorus camp thingie there…but it costs lotsa $…and I’m poor…anyways…
I took a little vacation from here b/c my Buzznet (blog for fans of MCR, A7X and the like) friends and I decided to make this little club thingie within the blog, and then we made a myspace for it, so that took a few days. And then this satanic chick started “flaming” me or wvr you call it so it took me a few days to figure out how to block her…She said she had a problem w/ “nerds,” that was her reason…jeesh, it’s nice being back in a creep-free environment.
Vell, I’m verking almozet aivry day now…
My foots hurt…
I’ve been a lot more random than usual today…
…Well, obviously.
The 4th was schweet. I went w/ some friends to the beach near downtown + saw the fireworks…it was really windy (there were white caps), but it didn’t rain.

The Curse Of the Were-rabbit was funny! CHEESE!!!
I am off camping, so I will be gone for a week. You must be relived,GAPAs, so that you don’t have to moderate posts in odd hours, such as around 5:55 in the morning…

130-yep
132-they give really good scholorships if you audition though. i would never be able to go otherwise.
POTC 2! POTC 2! POTC 2! I’m not gonna see it w/harriet though… we pretty much memorized the first one together, through endless sleepovers and whatnot…but i’ll get to see it w/sarah and one of lb’s friends who likes terry pratchett (which automatically makes him ok in my book despite being lb’s friend. Unless they start oofa-ing.) Actually we might go up to GR for a day before going to BL, but i think she’ll be at BI. I think we might go up to TC and see cousins afterwards too, but i’m not sure. And now i’m wondering why every place i go to in Migichan is two words? except for marquette. But that is in da UP. Oh and Lansing. But i’ve hardly ever been there…once for a field trip and a few times to MSU…oh and Charlavoix or however u splel it, but i only go there to catch the ferry to BI. And all this rambling has the purpose of procrastination, of course. Why else? anyway, i’m supposed to be cleaning my room again (?!?!) cuz mom’s on a craze. Better go *sigh* I think she just thinks we have nothing else to do. Which is true of course, but i prefer the activities she doesn’t pick-they usually include cleaning the house and shopping for shoes. And reading books about education. I find that amusing, that she educates people about education. That doesn’t mean anything she reads is interesting though, they’re usually completely unintelligeable. And i know i spleled that rong but i really must be going before dad finishes mowing the lawn.

Yay! Queenie J has graced us with her presence!
I watched the Glen Beck news show last night. Extremely froody, and news normally isn’t. I must give him compliments.
So, how many of you actually think North Korea is going to blow us up? Really, I think a good bit of it is hype, but we should be on our guards just in case an H-bomb comes crashing down on our heads.
Oh! Museical! Fun! If we have Urania, it just seems natural that she should sing opera, doesn’t it?

I must call Headcase (she only posted here a few times) and wish her a Happytabulous birthday. Maybe we can go see POTC2 this weekend…

Maria Callas certainly did.

why are we worried about iran having nukes if north korea is the real danger? we are sort of overeacting… but no one wants another cold war. right?

Muse-ical! cool! I like to sing +act, “pick me! pick me!”
0

I don’t think North Korea is actually going to blow us up. The problem here is that we and other Western nations are setting a terrible example. We’re saying, basically, that we can be trusted with nuclear weapons but that nobody else can. (Not that I think anyone can. Including us and North Korea.)

I think everyone should just die. It would solve a lot of problems.
No, but really. I agree with you Penty. We need to act out of a want for a peaceful world ( which is impossible, literally ) not out of fear. And while I understand what you are trying to say FantasyFan, that is bad reasoning. You can’t act in defense of an attack that never happened.

Ebeth (136),
The only places I’ve been in Michigan are Ann Arbor (two words) and Detroit (one word). But if I call Detroit “Motor City” it qualifies as two.

Or motown.
Well, saw the movie. V. nice for a sequel. Ending sucked, especially since the next one’s not coming out for a while. Cliffie. Hate cliffies. Besides, Capt. Jack’s definitely the best character. Meaning he can’t die or i shall get revenge. The fight scene was AMAZING! I loved it, it was soooo funny!!! Especially w/elizabeth shouting at them. The part where she sits down and sulks is hilarious. And the whole wheel thing…anyway, the undead were a lot ickier, and bootstrap has a starfish on his head, but not bad at all. Bit surprised at the wooden-eye guy though, he sounded much more intelligent…i liked that, it was funny how nobody could understand him and all, but it seemed a bit out of character. I liked the bit w/the bible though, on the little rowboat. and OMG norrington OMG we must hold a funeral for the ice cream wig. lol Well yah, pretty good, pretty good.

WAHH I haven’t watched it yet. *plugs ears while Ebeth talks about POTC 2*
Song idea:
(To the tune of: Your beautiful, by James Blunt. Even though I really don’t like ANYTHING about that song except the “your beautiful parts”. Not because I love being told I’m beautiful, I already know I am. JK JK.) It’s a Muse-ical!
It’s a Muse-ical!
It’s a Muse-ical, that’s true.
Sparkly songs
that are really long
but now you don’t know what to do
you lost your ticket, now your blue.
na-na-na-na-na…ect.
annndd if anyone else has ideas to put into it, please stand. I only got 6 or 7 hours of sleep last night. Thinking power on low.

I saw the movie last night at the midnight showing, and I liked it. The plot was sort of all over the place though, most likely because it’s open ended. I won’t spoil it for those of us who haven’t seen it yet, but the ending was AWESOME. The very end.
haha yes “I need something to shoot. Where’s the monkey?”
I’m probably being a terrible person and spoiling everything…apologies…i’ll add a warning.
Warning added. Beware. And suchlike. Yah.

Hmm…dillemma people…i’ve decided to take 4 muses to camp-the tombstone one (Oct. ’05), the goldberg/perpetual motion (May ’03), the harvington hall one (Oct. ’03), and the napoleon/hornblower one (Jan. ’03). Wow, ’03 was a good year. Anyway, the problem is, both the goldberg/perpetual motion and the napoleon/hornblower are missing their covers *gasp* and the first page of the napoleon is barely hanging. I really don’t want either of them to get any more damaged. the napoleon is honestly my fav muse EVER (it’s the one i read the most anyway) and the the goldberg cartoons are amazing ♥ ♥ But i really want to bring them to camp too. I shouldn’t think they’d be damaged further if i just kept them in the cabin but i’m not sure. i don’t want to step on them or something. *sigh* Anyway. Choices, choices. Oh and books omg i hate choosing books so much! We won’t have much time to read, cuz we’ll be busy being band geeks, but i like to have books there y’know? A choice. Anyway, i took 3 last time i went and got through them all mebbe halfway through the 2nd week. So i was thinking 4 this time (the Ultimate Hitchhiker’s Guide counting as 1 but serving as 5) but i ended up with 5. So i’ve got the Guide, Night Watch, Ivanhoe, Pride+Prejudice, and Tale of 2 Cities. Runner-ups included book 2 of the Belgariad (which i just bought, but have read before), Reaper Man, PoA, Inkheart, ROTK, 20,000 Leagues, and menny menny more.
Bit like those desert island questions, isn’t it? “If you were going to summer camp and could only bring 5 books, what would you bring?”
That should really be on the polling place, shouldn’t it? Ah well.
Went biking this morning (well…it’s summer ok? We left more towards 11:55…but that’s still morning, right? Right.) Went to the gardens. Twas fun. Actually it’s the Franklin Park Conservatory but i call it the gardens. Because that’s what i call gardens, is the gardens. Short, descriptive, easy to remember and easy to connect. Go me. Anyway, then i re-watched Men in Tights and read and went on comp and suchlike. Being a bum is fun. Mwahaha. Well my life is really boring so i’m gonna stop putting you all to sleep.
Great. Now i need a Topic of Conversation. Hmm. Well…Nice weather we’re having…that doesn’t really get beyond the first sentence, does it? Oh well. I give up…LIG, people, LIG. Peace, love, happiness, butterflies and rainbows, all that good stuff.

Ebeth, one argument in favor of taking a new book to camp is that years later if/when you reread it, it might remind you of back when you were at camp. At least that’s what happens with me when I read a book for the first time in a place other than home.

Oh just five? At my camp we hardly have any time to read, though our counselors usually read to us ( even the 12 and up set, its hilarious. Amber Brown was the series of choice last year. xD )
Anyhow. I would definitely bring P&P, maybe a manga or two,and my Emily Dickinson book of poetry .

152-That was the idea, but i ended up reading all the books i got from B&N already, so i don’t have any new ones. Oh well, i like old books. Besides, they’ll remember anyway i think. Ivanhoe’s been all over, and i still remember all the places that’s been…
Ah! Food! g2g. we had nothing to eat (and i mean nothing) so mom went shopping and we shall now proceed with breakfast. Then we can have lunch in…about 5 min.

We should have a Mystery Thread that nobody knows the topic of. While on it, Musers have to invent different names for themselves that don’t show up on “Who’s Here.” If the Mystery thread shows any signs of becoming “ordinary”(for MuseBlog, that is), it will be zapped.

Boy From New York City
Ooo wah, ooo wah cool, cool kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
Ooo wah, ooo wah cmon kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
Hes kind of tall
Hes really fine
Some day I hope to make him mine, all mine
And hes neat
And oh so sweet
And just the way he looked at me
He swept me off my feet
Ooo whee, you ought to come and see
How he walks
And how he talks
Ooo wah, ooo wah cool, cool kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
Hes really down
And hes no clown
He has the finest penthouse Ive ever seen in town
And hes cute
In his mohair suit
And he keeps his pockets full of spending loot
Ooo whee, say you ought to come and see
His dueling scar
And brand new car
Every time he says he loves me
Chills run down my spine
Every time he wants to kiss me
He makes me feel so fine
Ooo wah, ooo wah cool, cool kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
Well he can dance
(he can dance, take a chance with a little ro-)
And make romance
(mance baby, cause hes a looker)
Thats when I feel in love
With just one glance
(hes sweet talking and cool)
He was shy
And so was i
And now I know Ill never, ever say goodbye
Ooo whee, say you ought to come and see
Hes the most
From coast to coast
Ooo wah, ooo wah cool, cool kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
Ooo wah, ooo wah cmon kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
If you haven’t realised it by now, I’m a Manhattan Transfer fan. =D

177 – so does mine. I stay in a really really really old cottage in the summer, and we are only allowed to stay there in the summer. So, when we leave for the winter, we have to put lots of mothballs everywhere , and we have a huge bat population in our attic (which we are getting rid of when we leave this summer…) so they poop everywhere and it smells really bad. yuck.

G’Bye, Ebeth! Have fun!
Okay everyone. I am now going to entertain you with a story that actually might happen.
The Last of the MuseBloggers
By Gwendolyn of the Eastern Seas
Once upon a time, there was a happy little MuseBlogger called Gwendolyn of the Eastern Seas. Gwendolyn’s beloved blog, which she had discovered in late March, was her only source of non-mainstream entertainment during the lengthy summer months. She enjoyed nothing more on the hot, endless days than to gad about with her fellow MuseBloggers. Or so it was this way, until something terrible happened.
All of the MuseBloggers had started to leave for “camps” and “vacations”. At first, Gwendolyn did not mind, because she knew that it was summer, and naturally people would travel places. It wasn’t until Ebeth, one of the most devoted Bloggers of all, left that she started to see the truth…
The GAPAs were holding a huge summer house party and everyone had been invited except her.
Gwendolyn tried to hold back tears of anguish. How could the GAPAs exclude her? Wasn’t it she who had been a heroine in the Great Pie Wars? Wasn’t it she who had started the phontastique alternative slang movement? Alas, poor Gwendolyn couldn’t hold back her tears, and badly damaged her printer.
Gwendolyn took a solemn vow that day.
“No matter how many Bloggers the GAPAs invite excluding me, I will remain a poster for MuseBlog, and keep it alive until everyone comes to their senses!” Two weeks later, she was the only Blogger left. Even the GAPAs had stopped moderating. Gwendolyn screamed. How was she supposed to keep the Blog alive if the GAPAs had ceased with the administrating?!
Suddenly, it hit her: she could moderate herself! After a few hours of figuring out the Blog system, Gwendolyn moderated her first comment. How excited she was! After that, the Blog system was a piece of cake for Gwendolyn.
“Why should I stop at moderating? I goanna paint the Blog red!” she exclaimed. And while Gwendolyn did not exactly do that, she did do quite a bit of re-decorating. The Blog was soon sprinkled with Calder moblies, drizzled with donuts, specked with tenrecs, striped with hot pink bunnies, dotted with paper clip proton accelerators, bedecked with pictures of the Muses, and zig-zagged with pies.
As Gwendolyn put the finishing touches on one last Rebecca Lasley bunny, she saw another comment pop up on the screen. And it was from an infuriated pair of GAPAs.
“GWENDOLYN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” the two bellowed in real life. It was a thousand times worse on the Blog. Gwendolyn nervously typed and moderated her own comment back.
“Um… hi, guys. How was the party? *nervous chuckle*”
“What party?!” read a comment from a dangerously angry Robert.
“Didn’t you read the thread? Tsk, tsk, Gwendolyn. MongomeryGurl would be ashamed,” read an additional comment from Roseanne. Gwendolyn quickly scanned up the July random thread. Sure enough, there was a notice that Roseanne would be visiting family, and Robert would be going to Chicago to work on the latest Muse. And there were a miscellany of posts from Bloggers about going computerless places.
Gwendolyn was now sure they were really telling the truth. A few seconds later, a myriad of posts from enraged, suddenly returned Bloggers attacked Gwendolyn. Then, it all went dark.
*************************************************
In the end, the Bloggers and the GAPAs forgave Gwendolyn, but she was sentenced to feed the hot pink bunnies for the rest of the summer, and give up her administration powers.
THE END

‘My aunt had a family BBQ for no appeanrt reason. I saw my 1 year old cousin…. who has the same name as my lover and another guy I like. I had fun, went swimming, and *still* can’t manage to convince them that my lover is not my boyfriend, there is a differnce, mind you.
For the Record, I like 3 guys, only one of which likes me back (and i like some girls, too, but lets not get on the subject of sexual oreintation, shall we?)”
Haha! I own you. I like at least 30 people, though all female. =P
I also like several comic characters – anthropomorphs. =P

But it was only because Paul was doing the halftime…

213- k. Destroy Steelers*. Well, not destroy. I just wanted Seahawks to win cuz they were from our state. I didn’t really even watch the superbowl. Just flipped randomly to that channel every few minutes to look at the score.

Who or what is Bishounen? Something from Hamtaro?
“I don’t even bother with the Superbowl. You’d think football players would be arrested for assault and battery by now*, but instead they are the feature of the biggest commercial-fest on network television. I will never understand our society.”
Our “society” is a jumbled-up mess of things that we pilfered from other societies and modified and assembled to suit our horrible tastes. We took our democratic system from the Romans, we stole hamburgers and hot dogs from Germany, and swiped gourmet from Italy and France.
Football, on the other hand, is an exception. It is probably one of the few things that we have actually invented ourselves.
Then again, I’m probably wrong. Cavemen have probably been playing football for a long time. I mean, it definitely isn’t an “intellectual” sport.
People like football because they are so used to violence and obscenity that it takes something truly shocking, with real people kicking, tackling, and basically beating the living h∑ll out of each other to entertain them and keep them comforted. The same goes for boxing and wrestling.
No offense to football fans. It’s just something I feel strongly about. =)
“*But I’m also the one who thinks that Presidents should be locked up for murder if they start wars. So there you go.””
That’s not strange. Starting war is murder, though on a far greater scale. Killing is never justified. =)

Oh. My. God.
I just finished reading the most recent Inuyasha chapters on Ear-tweak. Let me repeat myself: Oh. My. God. I worship the ground Takahashi-sensei walks on. Whoever says that series is mindless, plotless fluff has obviously not gotten very far at all, and certainly not into the three-four hundreds of chapters. I swear, she does some of the best death scenes I’ve ever read in manga. While I was reading 465, I had Long and Winding Road playing in the background, and it just seemed like the perfect sort of ‘conclusion’ music for that chapter. (The series isn’t over yet, tho’.) It was perfect. It was amazing. It was terribly, terribly sad. I love Rumiko Takahashi.
What was that about, anyway? Fangirlizing?

Superbowl? Bleah. My Englishteachernun made us write a short essay on it. Mine was about how much better choklit and wakes are. That was what I was doing at the time of the Superbowl. Eating choklit and going to a wake.
Hamtaro? Is that show still on?
Sorry for the reaaaally long post…
But there is more…
Mexico. Yeah. The hotels were amazing. And freezing. Could they possibly be more air-conditioned? And I felt so bad for the people who lived in the surrounding area…like so much of it was wooded and the people lived in these squalid little houses. With no air-conditioning. I felt soooo bad for them. And I didn’t have any money so then I couldn’t buy anything and I had to keep saying “No, lo siento” to the shopkeepers. Who were right on the sides of the road. Anyway, now the happy part: CHICHEN ITZA!!!! I went on a tour bus but my dad and I ditched the tour guide because he was reeeeeeally boring and droned on about the apocalypse [2012…really the ende of the Mayan calendar. Personally, I think it just means that the calendar will have to start a second rotation…but…] and other parts of native history I was familiar with….so I took manymanymany pictures. The pyramid was shut off to tourists because too many fell off and died but we were allowed on this other building which was also very cool. And in the….um, I can’t spell it…”poc-a-toc” court. Where the Maya played a weird game with a rubber ball which ultimately ended in the sacrifice of the winning team’s captain. And carvings showing it. Very cool. But I almost died of heatstroke. Okay, not really; I’m just being dramatic. But just some advice: don’t wear black and huddle under a black umbrella in the middle of summer in Mexico. At least it started raining. Yay for rain. And ancient ruins.
Okay, shutting up now.

Did you all hear what happened to India yesterday? God…. when is it all going to end? That was one of the most carefully put-together plans I’ve ever heard. They jammed the cellphones. Jammed them. And it was on 7/11. The London attack was on 3/11. Our attack was on 9/11. You know what I think? They’re trying to take out twelve of the world’s most important cities, and it’s all being done by the same terrorist group or allied terrorist groups. Why are they doing this, however, if we are able to continue functioning as a society after the attacks? You’d think they’d go for something bigger. And yes, I am fully aware that they were indeed trying to blow up the White House and the Pentagon in the first one, but what about everyone else? And I’m not saying we weren’t all stalled for a little while after 9/11, but really.
Haven’t you noticed that countries subjected to this have become closer in alliance? What does this mean? Do they want to set themselves as common enemies of the most powerful countries in the world? Hm…

226 (SM)- They’ve already published a photo of someone in front of Chichen Itza. I don’t think you’ll get in.
227 (Gwen)- No, I didn’t hear about that. I’m pretty much news-ignorant in the summer, much as I hat to admit it. I listen to NPR on the way to school.
I’m not much of a conspiracy teorist. There may be some significance to the dates, but I don’t think they’re trying to take out whole cities, or, as you said, they would have figured out they were doing something wrong by now. I can’t claim to understand the motives of terrorists, but it seems to me that they consist, more or less, of ‘kill the infidels’. Of course, the same could be said for nearly all uber-religious nutjobs, and not all of them actually do run around killing people with different beliefs. I think that they’re doing it to be mean, and out of hate, rather than because of any sort of conspiracy.

Gar. I have another one in the poc-a-toc court…
Anyway, I’m writing here because everyone else is sleeping and I feel completely miserable because I lost my souveniers [sp?] and need to moan about it. Sorry, but I’m overly sensitive and sleep-deprived. *cries*
Gwendolyn of the Eastern Seas: I dunno if we’ve so much become closer in alliance. Europe hates us for dragging us into the War. Japan hates us for the same reason. Oh, and Iraq hates us, for killing a great number of their civilians and wrecking their country in general. A lot of people around the world hate us.
Had we not marched off to war, the terrorists probably wouldn’t be going all around the world blowing things up. ‘3/11’ and ‘7/11’ were probably revenge attacks, as well as 9/11, for stepping onto Arabian soil and killing 250,000 Muslims. I’d say they’re pretty mad.
Still, people who go around killing other people because they’re “infidels” are hypocrites. Actually, I think a lot of it was because of that business back a decade or two ago when the Saudi king turned down Al-Qaeda’s offer to eliminate Saddam in favor of America’s.
BTW, just wanted to throw another two cents in about this. America has not gone to war to fight for liberty and justice. If we had, we would have marched into not only Iraq but China, North Korea, Russia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and Israel, to name a few. We aren’t trying to fight terrorism, either – pretty obvious, seeing as we’ve already forgotten about Osama Bin Laden and have only managed to capture and kill a handful of extremists compared to the number of civilians and friendlies we’ve mowed down. A lot of the people that the US has captured and sent to torture camps in Kazakstan are civilians who had absolutely nothing to do with the terrorist movement. And the world is getting fed up with all this garbage. We really ought to pull out.
Anyway… yeah. I’m out of here.

I am answering to posts about 100 posts ago. I thought I was the only one in modern times who knew about the Istanbul song. The men’s choir in my mom’s college sang it. POTC 2 ROCKED!!!!! I thought it was scary, but I watched it with my best friend and we hugged each other on the scary parts.Davy Jones and his people were supremely gross. I HATE CLIFFIES!! How will I wait till May! My friend’s aunt knows a lot about it because she visited the set while they were filming but she won’t tell us a thing!

234 (Axa)- *sigh* I know. Tragic it doth be.
240 (Gwen)- Okay, I seriously love you now. I have been having this argument with most of my friends since sixth grade, about how if we completely ignored religion, or even followed the parts about not killing people and loving thy neighbor, we’d be a lot better off today. Hmmm… I believe there is a quote that pertains to this. “To err is human; to really screw things up you need religion.”
I’d like to point out that I have many religious friends, and am in no way anti-religious. I just personally think that dying for your beliefs is avoidable, and that killing for them is one of the most horrible things a person can do.

Good grief! The GAPA is singing! It’s a sign of the apocalypse! EVERYBODY HEAD FOR THE BUNKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, I do NOT understand the Naruto series at all. Can a few of our resident manga nerds answer me a few questions about it?
-Did pretty boy Saiskue die or what?
-Was that Haku person a girl or a boy that looked and sounded a heck of a lot like a girl?
-Why is it that it’s only Kakashi-sensei or Naruto or Saiskue ever doing the fighting? Why is it that Sakura just cheers in the background for Saiskue or looks scared? Isn’t she a ninja too?

I saw POTC 2. I thought it was completely pointless, badly scripted, and a total letdown from the 1st one. Although the cannibal part was hysterical and the fight inside the wheel thing was awesome. There were too many conflicting little side plots- too much going on in one movie.
Oh well. Guess what the New York times reviewer called it: Night of the Living Bouillabaisse. so true… hee hee

-no pretty boy sasuke did not die. I can’t remember what happened, though it just looked like he died.
-I don’t know why. It bothers me. But later in the series when Naruto and Sasuke are knocked out and she’s surrounded by big tuff guys, she’s forced to fight.

I am back. As the more perceptive may have noticed, my exalted presence here ocurrs in waves.
I have found something extremely odd in Volume 1, Number 5 of Muse. (The September/October 1997 issue.) On page 11, Bo interprets for Aeiou. This may suggest that more of the Muses than Crraw know what Aeiou, but Crraw is the only one who bothers to speak for her on a regular basis.
0
0
271 (USECGO)- Nice to have you back around, Grant. In Volume 1, Number 2 (March/April ’97, or so I believe), Aeiou actually talks. So… I think Crraw and Aeiou have a mutual agreement where Crraw gets to talk for two people (which he’d like), and Aeiou doesn’t have to talk at all (which she’d like).
269 (M&M)- No hugs. I choose a solitary life, without human company. And without hugs. Or I pie you. *looks around shiftily*

(272) I think that’s the slaughterhouse issue. That was the first one I got. Sadly, it has been lost over the years, as have some of the best ones, including the art one. One time, my brother cut up a brand-new issue of Muse (I’m not going to bother putting in italics) to use the pictures in his French project. It was the movie monsters one. It made me really angry. I hadn’t even read it yet.
0
0
276 (SM)- You want to be obliterated from the face of the earth or something? No. Hugs.
281 (USECGO)- Yeah, that’s the one that got all the angry letters from the 4-H people who were all like ‘but we like slaughtering animals!’ or something like that. While the article was biased towards vegetarianism (I’m veggie, and I’m admitting this), the letters complaining about it were pretty pathetic. I didn’t start getting Muse for a while after that, but I managed to scrounge upsome copies of most of the older issues. (If anybody has the very first issue or Nov./Dec. ’97, I’m willing to buy them to complete my collection.)
I loved the art issue. And the movie monsters one, too. Poor ickle-Grantie-kins… *prepares to run away*

Another unexpected lesson from history.
Our annual fair always closes with a special performance by cast members of Pathway to Freedom, an outdoor drama based on true events from the days of the underground railroad. The group sings selections from the show, and James, one of the actors, gives a talk about it, making connections with the present, emphasizing how this history belongs to all of us, regardless of race, regardless of whether our ancestors came here generations ago or moved in last week.
Yesterday, as James spoke about the sale of people into slavery, he pointed to the African-American members of the cast and described them as a potential buyer might assess each one. How disturbing to look at these performers and suddenly be asked to imagine them as merchandise.
And then . . . James placed his hand gently on the shoulder of his real-life daughter — who looked to be the age of younger Musers. When he itemized her worth as viewed by a slaveowner, I could hardly bear it. I know James and know what a warm, big-hearted man he is and can only guess what it must feel like for him to stand there beside his child and say that. Even to think of how different their lives would have been but for the accidents of the time and place into which they were born.
Working for a museum house that represents the history of a 19-th century Quaker family, I end up thinking about these kinds of issues quite extensively. Every once in awhile, though, I’m caught off guard.

Woah! I’ve been gone two weeks and we’re still on part one! The blog really slows down this time of year.
Hello to every one who, like me, just got back and goodbye to everyone who is leaving.
(284) OK. What type of camp was it? What were the best moments? Did you get pictures of you doing something cool while reading Muse?
There, I asked three questions. Now in return you must give detailed replies to each one, AND you must ask me questions about my absence.
(286) Wow. It’s funny how you never stop learning lessons from history, even after you’ve heard it many times.
I had a thought about slavery while I was at camp. It was about owning life *goes off to find journal to refresh memory*.
I caught a cricket one day and was surprised (and a little horiffied) to discover that feeling the bug jump around in my fist, struggling to get free, gave me a weird sense of pleasure. I let it go the second I realized this but it made me think. I wondered why I liked knowing that I had complete control over another living thing’s life. I wondered if it was just some innate feature of human beings, that we like knowing that we (in a sense) own another life. And I wondered if that, along with the industrial reasons, was why it was such a struggle to abolish slavery in the US.

OK, to all you wise musers out there, tell me: Is it OK to eesdrop on your cousins phone conversation when you like the person on the other end, and you hardly ever get to see the person on the other end (despite seeing said cousin daily)???
In other noos, today I went swimming at my cousins. Whcih you probably have already figured out. My cousin is flamablamablous: his friends are hot, and I like all of them except one I don’t know too well. Well, he has 3 close friends, and one (who I liked) Moved to indiana
We played blind mans bluff, and, for the first time in blinds man bluff history, I tagged someone! Yay!
There were a bunch of wasps. One got into the tortilla chips (which I brought). Every time a wasp got near me (I’m allergic) I jumped into the pool, and then everybody got mad me me getting them wet.

Okay, SN. It was just a fun, kind of traditional sleepaway camp. Made lots of new friends. Is Ebeth still here? Cause there was someone named Ebeth at my camp. Second question- the best moments were definetly jumping in the lake on a hot day, and going to the Mississippi headwaters and, yas, CROSSING THE MISSISSIPPI. Robert, weren’t you there? And no, I didn’t get any pictures of Muse-reading. Drat.

295 (USECGO)- It’s got an article about sleep in it, and a girl with these enormous bags under her eyes on the cover. They’re as bad as mine…
291 (Kiki)- Ebeth’s at band geek camp right now.
297 (emogrl)- It hit 100 here, I think. I really hate summer…
296 (Axa)- But we’re almost on the second, as I think this’ll be post 300.
289 (CY)- Oh, totally. I fed my morals to my dog a few years ago. She says they were yummy.

Yaay! It’s July! And I love the Urania pic.
Why yes, I do stay up too late.
July is the win.
>D
July rox. I’,m going ot the lake for Independance Day. Luff the Urania pic
oh. there it is.
peoples, i have found my sims game again, so if you want to be a sim please give me a descrption.
i don’t see a urania pic.
read Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card.
Haa, excuse double post. I won’t be on much the next four days, because I’ll be at ANIME EXPO!! YAY! I’m so excited. CLAMP is going to be there, and if you don’t understand how big that is, too bad for you.
-flies off-
LA LA LA LA LA LOOK AT EM! HI! HOW MANY OF YOU KNOW ME ANyway? i mean, it seems like all of you are new. wait, except for axa! hi axa! wheee! isn’t your name alexandra?
Top 10!
The Urania pic is really cool. So, what’s everyone doing on July 4?
Mebbe third wk of august? idk.
its a weekend. this does not bode well for my posting.
gnarly picture
We go to Petoskey, MI for the summer, and we’re seeing fireworks there
(GAPA, I’m not sure how many people live in Petoskey, so if it’s too small, zap it).
4th of july: absolutley nothing.
i love sailing! do you sail in a lake or on the ocean?
PP (16),
That’s all right. You don’t live there.
My mom’s birthday is on the third. My dad’s birth day was 3 days ago.
4- I would like to be a sim. I may allready be one, but if you’re starting a new game, here is my description: Light brown medium length hair, brown eyes, and I am short. *sigh*
Did anyone read about this girl who made a video on YouTube and got a job on the carson daly show for it? The story’s been in the La times and the Boston Globe at least. I just watched the video. Its wierd.
hey not that anyone cares but i changed my name from “i’mabeachbabe, gottahaveit” to this. ummm… on fourth of july i’m hanging out with my best friend and me and him are gonna watch the fire works because i’m scarred of lighting them myself… there is a logical explanation it’s just long.
16-Petosky! OMG! i’ve been trying to remember that name for weeks! I don’t know why, i just couldn’t remember what it was called and it was bugging me…i don’t even remember why i was thinking about it in the first place, but i couldn’t remember the name so thank you!
I sail on Lake Michigan in the summer, but yesterday I went to Lake Arthur, which is in a state park several hours away from my house.
Oh and if you didn’t notice my newest obession is Tennis.
hurrahh!!
i like these picture-accompanied monthly random threads more than the old boringish ones
im baaaaaack,
4- The original Sims? Or number 2?
5- CLAMP?
Our plane lands at Cancun, but the hotel is not there…
18- does that meant that we can say where we used to live? since we dont live there anymore?
Sure, Fantasy Fan. That’s no problem. Telling where you used to live is O.K.
#27: Lucky
#23: Petosky…like the stone.
I was on my feet for so long today. Now my heels hurt v bad.
Heh…you know what? I must live
27 (SM)- TSO? What is that?
Trans-Siberian Orchestra!
we got back from CA where we went to visit relatives and such a few days ago, and ever since I’ve been having trouble falling asleep..
I have no idea what iill do on idependenc day.
Independence Day? Bleah.
Outdoors + Exploding Things + Grilled Food =/= Fun.
We [as in my family] were invited to this one family’s house/party/whatever but my dad’s all “We’re not going; I need meat,” because those particular people are veggie. Grr.
Hey! Tomorrow is the anniversary of the mutiny on the Amistad!
-crawls to computer-
Anime Expo was so much fun. Three more days too! -spazzing-
Suffice it to say I saw HYDE. HYDE -dies of happiness-
I’m really tired though so…bye. -falls over-
I just went to a Bar Mitzvah, where I realised I liked a guy with the same name AND last initial as my first kiss. Kinda like The New Adventures of Old Christine… now its the new adventures of old B.S.
Yeah, but still…. I’m never gonna see him again, might as well forget him.
36- I’m not fond of grilled food either.
39- I realize random things like that all the time.
Hi!
No, I’m not at camp yet. I’m in Berkeley, I drive up to camp tomarrow.
I like the pic of Urania for this thread it is exciting.
Axa, the Anime Expo sounds awesome! I’m not hugely in to Anime, but I think it’s really
coolgnarly.I went to a musical today called The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
But it was just so amazingly fun I had to rave about it.
hey, nice to see you shriya!
in the town where i live it’s to foggy to fire fireworks on the fourth of july so we do them on the day the town was founded, in october.
hi everyone! Phew.
So, don’t expect to see me much.
Spiffyness! Fireworks in October! Fourth O’ July. Cannot waiiittt. ^ ^
Hi shriya. Welcome back.
Brave Sir Robin: Mazel tov in advance!
41- That sounds like much fun!!!
skipper, that sounds severly awesome.
like rosanne said, early mazel tove, brave sir robin.
43-yay you!
39-um…how many guys do you like anyway?
I promise, this is my real last post for a while. Remember the links by special request? Well, they are about my bat mitzvah project, and since a big part of my bat mitzvah project is raising awareness about this organization, I figuered I could raise awareness to some musers as well as all the other people.
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=271
ALL JEWISH FIREFOX USERS MUST DOWNLOAD THE HERBREW CALENDER FIREFOX EXTENSION> IT SHOWS THE DATE IN HEBREW
THIS IS CY, AND I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE
*blinky* Thats the first time I ever talked in all caps….
I love violin, but viola has a nice rich tone and a c-string.. although I actually sound more like a violist on the low registers of my violin than I do on my viola.. although I don’t play out of tune enough to _really_ sound like a real violist
…
Submitted by Kiki the great’s mom via letter from camp:
Hey Dudes, camp is so kewl. My mom’s ordering 2 muse back issues of Muse for me, Yayness. Okay, see ya later dudes.
Coolio. Hi Kiki the great’s mom!
I got internote, but I don’t qutie understand how to use it…..
Get it.)
I didn;t go to most of my friends bar mitzvahs because of the tumor :/
BSR: that story is really wonderful! that’s a great thing to do for a bat mitzvah!
our economy is unfair, but when you put things in perspective there are worse things. compared to much of the rest of the world almost the entire population of the US is very wealthy, and compared to some of the atrocities that have been commited based on faith or race far outstrip what goes on in the US. still, it’s wrong, and we should work to stop it.
Hm… I’ve just searched “Pwt pwns” on Google. You are all much more active on the Internet than I am.
Mazel Tov!
63- Hmm… I’m going to try that now!
I bought Dial-A-Song by They Might Be Giants yesterday!
60- Me too. A lot of people here are Jewish, some are Atheist and a lot are some form of Christianity. Others are other random things. People are usually accepting of others beliefs here.
hello!
no skool!
finally!
yayness!
we wont be doing anything special for the 4th of july… not even see fireworks. I miss wisconsin…
*sigh*
I am wet. It started lightning, so we went inside for the last 5 min, and then when we got out it was pouring and sarah and i were dancing around and singing “singin in the rain” and i remember that she’s wearing a white shirt and i’m like “um you’re wearing white” and she’s like “aaah!” so we ran.
haha and it was also funny cuz i have on my old swim team shirt (tie-dye, not white luckily lol
) and on the back it says “Very dangerous when wet” so i can go terrorize people going “mwahaha i’m wet!!!”
Fun fun. Off to terrorize lb before i dry off.
Ach mein! Can someone help me? I’m trying to draw a leprechaun girl performing a powerful spell, and I don’t know what to have her wearing. Any ideas?
69- a green outfit with a belt of a flower. Natural and flowery looking is how I’d draw it.
71- I usually stick them on the last posts I read on MB. So when I load the threads up againe the next day, I don’t spend too much time scrolling up and down…:) Or if I read stories online, I use them as markers…I tried using a program that hi-lites text, but those marks dissappeared after I closed the tab, so I just use stickies.
I GOT A TIKI LAMP!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!
TACKYTIKITACKYTIKITACKYTIKITACKYTIKITACKYTIKITACKYTIKI!!!!!!!!!!!!
And Tiki Torches!
I made up a Tiki song. (Step every line, start with left foot)
HUUN
da’a’aca
HUUN
da’a’aca
AAAAAA
HU
AAAAAA
HU
(Repete untill destination is reached)
WHo changed my name to stupid? SIblings, no doubt. oh well
Sweet Melpomene (72), I see that could be handy. Thanks for the idea.
Pentatonikk (77): You can find it by searching with the terms mozilla and internote.
It acts a little funky on my computer (a mac laptop). Or maybe I just haven’t mastered it yet.
I think flowery with a top hat in various shades of green with hints of gold would be spiffy.
Hmm.. Internote sounds handy!
Have any firefox users live-bookmarked Museblog? It comes in real handy. rather than having to go to the blog, than the thread, it takes you derictly to the thread, and you can see new threads before you even see the blog homepage.
happy fourth of julY!
ha!
im first!
the gapas will probably moderate more slowly…
museblog is my homepage. firefox rocks
HAPPY FOUTH OF JULY!
Mazel tov, Brave Sir Robin!
I am doing almost nothing on the fourth. Oh wait, that’s today. My brain is obviously doing something fun, somewhere outside my head. Anyway…
Thank you all for your totally bodacious suggestions.
Happy Fourth of July! I think to set the mood, I’ll draw a manga girl holding sparklers at a cookout with her younger sister.
I’m going to go onto elfwood and spread the insanity that is Muse.
73, 74- Yay. Tikis are cool.
76- No problem.
I should be making choklit fudge right now…
I wish museblog was my homepage. but i have to share this computer with the family.
FF (82),
It’s hard to do anything very quickly in all this heat. I hope things are cooler where Rosanne is.
4. Em- Wich Sim game do you have?
88- Where is Rossanne?
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Whizzzez sparklers and fireworks go off*
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I live near Washington, D.C. Rosanne lives in Northern California.
Happy fourth all. *promptly falls asleep*
id you see the takeoff of the Disocovery? Boy, i’m glad no one is hurt yet.
As for weather where i live, its tunderstorms all day. Thats according t forecastfox. Its an extention you can get to firefox that shows the weather right on your brower.
Ahoy! I’m in Northern MI for the summer…and VERY surprised that our neighbor let us use their wireless internet connection. Yay!
Happy 4th!
PP (94),
Good to see you!
Happy 4th to you too, PP!
our air conditioning broke. and since its the 4th no one fixed it. my room was an oven! now that its dark things have cooled down- mostly.
>DDDDDDDD
I have Poems and Songs bookmarked.
By some random ruins. w00t.
Just wondering, has anyone heard of Improv Everywhere?
Every thread I visit I bookmark…I hardly ever go to the home page anymore. I only do it once a month..to see the new picture
I wonder why.)
our AC is still broken, but its not as hot today.

I ♥ randomness!!!!!! I also ♥ July.
hahahahahaahahahaahahahahahahahahaha
[Darthmeister, you know we’re not keen on external links. So I’ve snipped them. How about if you tell us what’s tickling you. If MuseBloggers want to find out more, they’ll track down more info. — Rosanne]
i find it hilarios.
…aaand, I’m off. Faretheewell, Musers. Be back in a week. Unless I die. In which case, good-bye!
Hasta luego y buena suerte, SM!
byebye Sweet Melpomene, have fun!
Umm, have we forgotten Ringo?? His birthday is in two days!! He’ll be 66!! Aaagh!!
bye…you’re really lucky! I get to stay at home all summer doing nothing!
The BBC’s definitely the best version. But then, the only other version i’ve seen is the new one…but yah.
113-Ringo pwns! he’s my fav beatle. XD
110-bye! don’t die! have fun! don’t skare too menny people! lol jk
mraaaaaaahr g2g do dishes now. stink.
114- me too..SIGH. Doing nothing everyday gets boring after awhile. Man, I’m glad I found Museblog or I would’ve killed myself out of boredom.
What a loss that would have been. Instead, another Muser is rescued from despair and back on track for world domination. Rosanne and I will sleep well tonight.
I love the BBC version, but Matthew Macfadyen is so pretty in the new one… -spaces out-
Hello, all!!!
Faretheewell.
Bon Voyage, SM! (mwahaha, no Spanish here, you smelly American k’nigits!) We look forward to seeing your groovy Muse-reading picture in front of some temple to Quetzacoatl or the other.
Guess what I did yesterday? Yep, that’s right. I declared myself…
HRH GWENDOLYN, PRINCESS OF MUFFINS,
LADY OF BANANA NUT,
DUCHESS OF BLUEBERRY, AND
BARONESS OF CHOCOLATE CHIP!
Bow before me!
summers are slow
Now, there’s a new slogan for the cover of the magazine:
MUSE: Home of the Dream-Rabbits
Good to hear from you, QJ. Have fun, and send up a smoke signal when you get a chance.
Queen J! Nice to hear from you. It sounds like you are having a truly shiny time, whilst the rest of us geek out on the internet. Such is life.
But… does de Waal already know the macarena? It’s pretty popular.
Dream-rabbits? Do you mean HPBs?
Well, I guess it maks sense….
Randomrandomrandom.
Summers Rock out loud.
Anyone ever seen Curse of the Were-rabbit? Or tasted Wendslydale cheese?
Queenie j!
Hi!!! Um… Happy belated 4th of July everyone!
And a belated Bye-Bye-Have-Fun-In-Mexico to SM!
12 more days until Ozzfest! Woohoo!
*Head-bangs comp*
Ouch…
Hi, emogrl and Queenie J. Good to hear from you again.
Remember Musers: We’re all dream rabbits here.
POTC 2! POTC 2! POTC 2! I’m not gonna see it w/harriet though…
we pretty much memorized the first one together, through endless sleepovers and whatnot…but i’ll get to see it w/sarah and one of lb’s friends who likes terry pratchett (which automatically makes him ok in my book despite being lb’s friend.
Greeks don’t sing opera, do they?
Maria Callas certainly did.
why are we worried about iran having nukes if north korea is the real danger? we are sort of overeacting… but no one wants another cold war. right?
Muse-ical! cool! I like to sing +act, “pick me! pick me!”
I don’t think North Korea is actually going to blow us up. The problem here is that we and other Western nations are setting a terrible example. We’re saying, basically, that we can be trusted with nuclear weapons but that nobody else can. (Not that I think anyone can. Including us and North Korea.)
142- ME TOO!!!! ME TOO!!!!!!
JK JK.)
It’s a Muse-ical!
The undead monkey was amusing.
COVER YOUR EYES EVERYBODY!!! EBETH’S SPOILING!!! AAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!
haha yes “I need something to shoot.
Does this wooooooork???
I havent been on here aaaaaaaaaallllllll day. Wierd…
Image
It doesnt work! *cries* Just kiddin’…
Attention, Jadestone and other Butterfly Boucher fans: I’ve e-mailed the sublime Ms. B. and invited her to the blog. Please keep an eye out and pie her plentifully if she puts in an appearance.
hmmmmmm… july…

for the fourth, i went to a dessert fiesta on s boat that my friend rented. Much talk of airplanes… i  airplanes…
i would say thst this friend *ahem* does NOT live in a mostly black community, although she does live NEAR one…
I aslo just got finished with flight camp (airplanes!) anyone who does not get my name… google it…
SR-71? Are you new, if so….
*pies with Swiss Chcolate Almond pie*
so, I’ve been listening to They Might Be Giants recently, and I like it. The problem is that their website confuses me and so I haven’t managed to figure out how to find out exactly who they are, what albums they have out, etc..
I’m in the Muse-ical right? I’ve been here since you first started planing it… Enjoy your summer what ever you are doing! Nice to hear from you!
159- Yay! They Might Be Giants! Try listening to I Palindrome I or Birdhouse in Your Soul or Ana Ng or Doctor Worm or Istanbul (Not Constantinople) or Particle Man.
Ahhh! I love the Istanbul song, we listened to it in seventh grade whilst studtying Byzantium. The original is spiffy too.
I’m watching the World Cup right now, GO ITALY!
i am just going to lurk around here…
I developed a fetish with the monkey when I saw the first movie. I’m quite pleased that he’s in the second movie as well.
“If it’s what’s on the inside that counts, then instead of making Miss America contestants wear bathing suits and nine-inch heels, why don’t they have them bring X-rays?”
We should have a Mystery Thread that nobody knows the topic of. While on it, Musers have to invent different names for themselves that don’t show up on “Who’s Here.” If the Mystery thread shows any signs of becoming “ordinary”(for MuseBlog, that is), it will be zapped.
166- Sounds like fun.
I just got my Muse, and I must say, I am even more impressed than usual. I should have entered the condensing contest. Here’s my summary for All Quiet on the Western Front anyway.
All Quiet on the Western Front
By Eric Maria Remarque
Soldiers complain. People die. Soldiers schmooze French girls.
for me, that’s this thread. i have no idea who anone is, or what we’re talking about.
i saw spamalot last thursday! it was really funny. has anyone else seen spamalot? i bought the soundtrack and listened to it alot. i rather liked robin, but i think galahad could have been done better.
163-Me too. GO FRANCE!!!
Go France!
166- I’d post.
Ooh, I sense a little tension in the air…
Hehe, I’ve nvr watched a single sports event on TV in my entire life (except for the Olympics a few times).
169-Em! I’m soooo jealous! I wanted to see it in Chicago, but we didn’t get down there.
I have the soundtrack too! Squee! Wants to see, wants to see!
162- I’ve heard Birdhouse in your Soul and Istanbul, not Constantonople and Where do they make Balloons and Damn Good Times..
I’m your only friend
I’m not your only friend
but I’m a little glowing friend
but really I’m not actually your friend
But I am
163- my dad is in france right now.. or flying out of it..
emogirl: Same here.
Lizzie: Paradoxical.
Hmm.
Boy From New York City
Ooo wah, ooo wah cool, cool kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
Ooo wah, ooo wah cmon kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
Hes kind of tall
Hes really fine
Some day I hope to make him mine, all mine
And hes neat
And oh so sweet
And just the way he looked at me
He swept me off my feet
Ooo whee, you ought to come and see
How he walks
And how he talks
Ooo wah, ooo wah cool, cool kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
Hes really down
And hes no clown
He has the finest penthouse Ive ever seen in town
And hes cute
In his mohair suit
And he keeps his pockets full of spending loot
Ooo whee, say you ought to come and see
His dueling scar
And brand new car
Every time he says he loves me
Chills run down my spine
Every time he wants to kiss me
He makes me feel so fine
Ooo wah, ooo wah cool, cool kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
Well he can dance
(he can dance, take a chance with a little ro-)
And make romance
(mance baby, cause hes a looker)
Thats when I feel in love
With just one glance
(hes sweet talking and cool)
He was shy
And so was i
And now I know Ill never, ever say goodbye
Ooo whee, say you ought to come and see
Hes the most
From coast to coast
Ooo wah, ooo wah cool, cool kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
Ooo wah, ooo wah cmon kitty
Tell us about the boy from New York City
If you haven’t realised it by now, I’m a Manhattan Transfer fan. =D
Bleep it. I forgot to fix the no apostrophe-errors.
Ugh. It smells horrid in my house right now.
©®@p. Now it smells even worse.
crap isnt a swear. My teachers say it.
Italy Won!
I demand a thread.
My aunt had a family BBQ for no appeanrt reason. I saw my 1 year old cousin…. who has the same name as my lover and another guy I like. I had fun, went swimming, and *still* can’t manage to convince them that my lover is not my boyfriend, there is a differnce, mind you.
For the Record, I like 3 guys, only one of which likes me back (and i like some girls, too, but lets not get on the subject of sexual oreintation, shall we?)
Italy owned you all.
179-some of my teachers actually swear if they get mad enough, so idk if that actually proves anything. I don’t consider it a swear word, but some do so best all around not to say it i guess.
Um…copper. Wow. Speechless. That sure is a lot of people to like…
Axa (181),
Italy didn’t own anybody until the last five minutes of the game. (Full disclosure: I watched the game at the French Embassy. Quite a scene! Good food, too.)
On a similar note, my friend bicycled me in the face today. (for those of you who arent soccer fans, a bicycle is when you drop down on the ground and kick the ball over your head. Its alot more impressive than it sounds)
copper- what exacly is the difference then?
182- yeah, some of mine do.. my spanish teacher in 7+8th grade used to swear in French..
169 (Em)- I sold my soul to Spamalot. (Which is saying something, as I’m one of those majorly anti-corporate hippie weirdos.) Spamalot gets my firstborn child, if it’s still running by then. Spamalot so totally pwns you all that words cannot describe its pwnage. See it. Now. (I saw it on Broadway last year.)
hi
i actually made it on two days in a row.
im back!!
i’ve been gone for 3 weeks or sumthin! now im back… but not for long… HAPPY BELATED 4TH PEOPLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
177 – so does mine. I stay in a really really really old cottage in the summer, and we are only allowed to stay there in the summer. So, when we leave for the winter, we have to put lots of mothballs everywhere , and we have a huge bat population in our attic (which we are getting rid of when we leave this summer…) so they poop everywhere and it smells really bad. yuck.
This is it people. Off to Blue lake! See y’all in 2 or 3 weeks! Peace, love, rainbows, and dream-rabbits to all! (hot pink ones, of course)
I just went to napster and listened to part of a song by Butterfly Boucher. Really like her voice…Hey, one of her songs is in the Shrek soundtrack…hehe, that’s cool.
BYE EBETH!!!
HAVE A HAPPYTABULOUS TIME!!!
YOU’RE GOING TO BE CLOSE ENOUGH FOR ME TO STALK YOU, YOU KNOW!!
; )
jk.
hey have fun, i have a lot of friends who have gone to blue lake (its really really close to where i live) but ive never even bothered to audition. most of them liked it though.
beware of the food however i heard its HORRIBLE
(183) True, true. Zidane is a bloody idiot for the headbutt though. It was his last game for goodness’s sake. What a way to end a career. -_-
174- There’s a picture opposite me
of my primitive ancestry
which stood on rocky shores
and kept blue beaches shipwreck free
So wait– who won the World Cup, anyway? I don’t keep up with sporting events. [/obliviousness]
Adieu, Ebeth. Have fun with the band geeks. I wanna hang around with band geeks!
196- Though I respect that a lot
I’d be fired if that were my job
after killing Jason off and countless screaming Argonauts
Linnell looks freaky during that verse..
Have fun, band camp people!
Yeah, my friend told me the food there was awful.
I just saw Pirates of The Caribean 2 and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
was it as good as the first? i usually hate sequels. but it has johnny depp in it so…
btw, blue lake isnt just a band camp its got all sorts of drama and art programs, and one of my friends goes every year for dance. but ive heard there are ALOT of gay guys there, which makes the camp dances weird
I feel so guilty when i dont post for a while.
THE END
204 (Gwen)- How terribly tragic. You’re going to make me cry in a few minutes.
197- Italy won. It was tied for most of it and Zidane had to go and be an idiot…
198- Bluebird of friendlyness
like guardian angels it’s always near
Blue canary in the alley by the lightswitch
who watches over you?
also 197- I don’t pay attention to sports much either. Just the Olympics and the World cup. I always read through the superbowl and watch the commercials. I remember finishing The Two Towers during the 2001 superbowl.
Same here! The Superbowl is possibly the most uninteresting show of “ME BASH YOU WITH BALL, ME STRONG” in the entire year. I fall asleep.
Grrrrrrr…..PITTSBURGH………must….destroy…..
I don’t even bother with the Superbowl. You’d think football players would be arrested for assault and battery by now*, but instead they are the feature of the biggest commercial-fest on network television. I will never understand our society.
*But I’m also the one who thinks that Presidents should be locked up for murder if they start wars. So there you go.
“crap isnt a swear. My teachers say it.
Italy Won!
I demand a thread.”
I know, I just like to do that. It’s for comic effect. =P
Viva Italia! Italy is nice. I like Italian food especially. =D
Gay is cool. B)
211 (DP)- You’re one of our precious few male MBers, right?
Don’t even get me started on comic characters. Bishounen=♥♥♥♥♥.
209 – Hey! You could say, “destroy Steelers ” not Pittsburgh . Just because the Steelers won the superbowl doesn’t mean you have to hate the whole city!
210- Okay, I have to admit: We taped about half of the 2004, I believe it was, superbowl.
But it was only because Paul was doing the halftime…
213- k. Destroy Steelers*. Well, not destroy. I just wanted Seahawks to win cuz they were from our state. I didn’t really even watch the superbowl. Just flipped randomly to that channel every few minutes to look at the score.
*Not Pittsburgh.
my parents got married on superbowl sunday. Shows how much they care about it
Kuai Zi Angel Pentatonikk: Correct. =D
202-Better, but they didn’t end it, I guess it finishes in a 3rd one
(204) it’s the bunnies what done it
204- (To the tune of “Where have all the flowers gone”)

(Yay double post most likely)

Bi=Beautiful
Shonen=Boy
Bishonen=Beautiful Boy. No, not from Hamtaro, thanks.
I’ve been busy with other forums, so I haven’t been much on museblog. I also shave summer school ;_;
Oh. My.
215 – thank you
I’m baaaaaaaaaack! And still pale though much better at ping-pong.
Hey, QJ!!!
Hey, emogrl!!!
POTC2? How was it? Cliffy? NO! I hate them!!!! I looove wooden eye dude. He’s hillarious!!!!!!!
I’m uploading about 600 picture from my trip right now…
AAAND I got mi padre to photograph me in front of the pyramid at Chichen Itza holding Muse. It had better get on the fan mail page.
*pies SR-71* Welcome!!!

Superbowl?
Hm…
You had to write a paper about the Superbowl? Yuck!
*cries*
Didn’t hear about India.
Should sleep. Later.
HOLA SWEET MELPOMENE!!
I hope they put your pic in Muse!!
Whoops. Made another error in type there… I have got to stop doing comments at 0100. :/
(224) And it never will be. xD I’m not one to talk though, Naruto is on chapter 314 as of now, and is hardly half way through the story, if that.
THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

To start another lyric thing:
They call me Dr. Worm
Good morning, how are you? I’m Dr. Worm
I’m interested in things
I’m not a real doctor, but I am a real worm
I am an actual worm. I live like a worm
Pwt pwns!
Pride and Prejudice is awesome! I’ve seen the BBC version and the new one with Keira Knightley. i loved them! i wish I knew someone on this site. I have no friends.
You know, the world would be a lot less complicated if we just ignored religion. Sorry. Don’t mean to sound blasphemous at all, but seriously.
238-I like to play the drums
I think I’m getting goode but I can handle criticism
I’ll show you what I know
And you can tell me if you think I’m getting better on the drums
I’ll leave the front unlocked ’cause I can’t
Hear the doorbell
239- They sang it? AHH! THAT’S SO COOL. Now I shall have to bother my chorus teacher into letting us sing it! Yeah, I haven’t met anyone on this site in person either…
241- I must agree. And I love the quote.
*sings*
I heard they had a space program.
When they sing you can’t hear, there’s no air.
Sometimes I think I kind of like that, and
Other times I think I’m already there…
*dodges pies*
When I get into it,
I can’t tell if you are watching me
Twirling the stick
When I give the signal,
My friend Rabbi Vole
Will play the solo
Someday, somebody else besides me
Will call me by my stage name
Welcome, Katrina! (If you’re not new, welcome anyway).
*pies Katrina*
245–I agree. things would be more peaceful. sometimes.
i went onto the yahoo news webpage, and i saw that giant girl puppet that was in the april isue of muse. it was dated this summer, and is that parade thing an annual event?
243- Gonna ask for my admission
Gonna speak to the man in charge
The secretary says he’s on another line,
Can I hold for a long, long time?
I found out she’s an angel
I don’t think she knows I know
I’m worried that something might happen to me
If anyone ever finds out
Wow, today was basically uneventful, yet I had fun. I walked into work today and saw that one of the other girls I work with had written HAPPY BIRTHDAY (MY REAL NAME HERE)!! on the calender. My boss let us order a pizza, and we just had this little party. Then I had to go to my voice lesson, which always puts me in a nutty mood, b/c my teacher makes me do all these weird voice exercises. After that, I went home, and my mom got a carrot cake from Potters, which is like the best bakery in town…it was sooo good (if you want some virtual carrot cake, go to the birthday thread!). My parents gave me this book called The Stolen Child – Has anyone else heard of / read it?
*sudden realization*
Hey…One more year AND THEN I’M FREE!!
(248) *duet with SM*
Why did they send her
Over anyone else? How should I react?
These things happen to other people.
They don’t happen at all…
(249)
EG,
I’ve read several reviews. It sounds good. Let us know what you think about it.
Wow, you all are quick.
yes we are!
Kuai Zi Angel Pentatonikk: Ah, yes.
Now, why do I fail to notice the important topics?
239- wanna be my friend? I have no friends either
:] I’m a hopeless loser who’s wasting her life on the computer. SIGH.
The GAPA sings sometimes. It doesn’t mean anything.
249- Happy Birthday…I’m too lazy to find the birthday thread…I heard of the book…
251- *joins in duet*
When you’re floolwing an angel
Does it mean you have to
Throw your body off a building
Somewhere they’re meeting on a pinhead
Calling you an angel
Calling you the nicest things…
And that brings us back to comment 243.
So my sister is emailing random Mexicans my parents told her not to email…So they are going to install this insane keystroke-recording program. Aargh. So I really should try to resist clicking on random, seemingly harmless links that lead to the pages of Google searches for…things I wouldn’t search for.
I haven’t been on this thread much, so i don’t know what’s going on, but I’ve come to say goodbye. I’m going to New Orleans on a mission trip. Live long and prosper, so long and thanks for all the fish, ect. I’ll be back in a week.
Oh, and after i come back, i’ll be going south again to visit relatives and other people i’ve probably never met.
YKM- Ooo, have fun! *makes live long and prosper sign back* We’ll miss you.
i got henna/ mehndi put on my hands today.
255 – you’re friends with all of us! All musers are friends.
263 (FF)- Ooh! Shiny! *is jealous**sulks*
264 (PP)- Except for me, because I’m horrible and antisocial and hate all of you. Meh.
Ahem. While I am sitting around here, may I direct you to the lovely RRR? No one visits ‘Visit These Threads’ anymore, it seems.
Yes! Indeed we are all friends! *pulls everyone into a huge virtual group hug*
AAH! IS ANYONE WATCHING LOU DOBBS RIGHT NOW?!?
*sings along to the
duettrio*256- Me LUVS Naruto. Though I don’t really read much manga. Right now I’m sucked into “Life of Pi”. Now no one get their hopes up, cuz it’s not about fruit filled pastries.
-no pretty boy sasuke did not die. I can’t remember what happened, though it just looked like he died.
-I don’t know why. It bothers me. But later in the series when Naruto and Sasuke are knocked out and she’s surrounded by big tuff guys, she’s forced to fight.
-Haku’s a guy but looks like a girl.
264- hooray!
265- oh my.
266- Double hooray for virtual hug! Quick! Everybody pull Kuai Zi Angel Pentatonikk in!
So, tomorrow afternoon I leave for camp, for a bit more than three weeks. May or may not have access to computers. Yay.
*looks around shiftily*
i’m bbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaacccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here on fibber island,
we play rubber guitars,
our friends live on mars,
and we sew buttons on our cars
When I went camping thare was a box of plastic utensils in the shape of animals, and there was actually a hot-pink buny one! I was amazed and astounded, and decided to save it and treasure itforever!
yay!!
ok, that was a totally un-insightful comment. oh well.
272- It’s only a virtual hug. So it’s not really human contact…
273- what the heck was that????
Just to let everyone know, I will be gone at camp for a month starting monday.
Hello friends, munchkins and glowworms! I’m back!
We shall miss you, E~A!!
277-they might be giants?????
possibly
ME AM BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yayness. Ask me lots of questions.
Ooo, have fun, E~A! We shall miss you!!
282- Fine, then. *pouts*
Random newsflash: It’s been one year since HBP came out.
I think it’s nicer this way…not so much annoying posts, and there are fewer people to keep track of.
I played with my cousins dog… *is pied before she can say any more*
284- YAY!
286- Woah, that’s just…disturbing. =(
Drat.
289- Of course! As long as you don’t get caught! [note: don’t listen to SM’s advice, as she is bent on
corruptingenlightening today’s youth] Actually, I have no clue about phone etiquette. But feel free to continue without being pied. Really. *shoves pies in mouth and smiles innocently*HELLO PEOPLES!
wow… im not even gone yet but i’ve already stopped posting… NOOO! NORMAL PEOPLE ARE TAKING ME AWAY FROM MUSE BLOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW SHALL I SURVIVE?!???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Ahem*
Erm.
Sorry. Just got back from camp and vacation… a bit hyper…okay a lot hyper… oh what the heck *abandons all efforts at trying to hide her insanity* WHEEEEEE!!!!
282- Which one is Nov/ Dec ’97? If it’s the art one, no luck, but if it’s one I have, I might be able to give it to you.
(289) If it were me, I wouldn’t caer at all. No morals over here. xD
This is so odd, it’s already the SIXTEENTH and we aren’t on the third edition of the monthly random thread.
HI SKIPPER!!! How was camp?
There was a record high in TC today, something like 96 degrees, and like millions of ppls were flocking to the beaches. That’s probably laughable for you AZ ppl.
HI JADESTONE!!! How was your vacation?
HI EVERYBODY ELSE!!! Just a random hi. Hey…why are you all running away from me like that??
Yeah. This place has def been kind of a ghostown for the last week.
Kiki (291),
I wasn’t there this summer, but I did swim the Mississippi River near Bemidji once.
coolio duuude. that’s my new catchphrase. personally, i think everyone needs one.
293-I like your name! But you could be Secret Agent #1, or somthing, if you wanted to change it.
My mom has decided on another plan to keep me and my siblings in line. I am getteing really scared…
*dissapears into adeep dark gloom*
FAREWELL MUSEBLOGERS:
I am going to camp next Sunday. I will not be returning until sometime late next month. I am bringing many of the published works of J.R.R.Tolkien and Douglas Adams. That should keep me content
Bye Everyone!
Hey, JS!
