Oh god. I just found out my friend might be seriously ill. She has a high white blood cell count and a fever and the doctors don’t know why. She says that they’ve ruled out almost everything, and next is cancer. I really hope she doesn’t have cancer, but she’s still in school so it can’t be too bad. Then again, all the usual suspects have come back negative. *worries*

If my district had a gifted program I suppose I would be in it. But our school doesn’t do ANYTHING! We don’t do the spelling bee, we don’t do Battle of the Books, we don’t even have feeder schools for our junior high! Our district has three schools! one pre k-kindergarten, one 1-5, and one 6-8! Um, help me? There is this boy I used to know in like, what, fourth grade? And he just figured out I am still around. So he SEARCHED UP MY HOUSE, FOUND OUT EVERYTHING HE COULD ABOUT ME, and SENT ME A LOVE LETTER IN GNOMMISH (artemis fowl gnommish). AND HE EXPECTS ME TO WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH HIM! He calls almost EVERY DAY asking if I can play, comes to my house almost EVERY DAY dropping off some letter (today was the love letter… urgle) and is a bit of a geek.
Rather mean of me, but he is.
It is REALLY HARd to start up a friendship again on a love lette.r I could tell he liked me, but why must he bother me so? WHY COULDN’T HE LIVE IN A DIFFERENT TOWN!?!?!?!
And it is all because my mom waved at him one day when she was driving me home from school. I seriously. haven’t. seen. him. in. two. years. (sixth grade, I am in eighth)
And really, I believe in not dating/”hanging out” until I am sixteen. How do I avoid him/get this solved? (I already told him I couldn’t play for several weeks, but that was before the love letter)
He knows where I live, I have removed EVERYTHING that shows where my room is (I now have removed the decorations me and my friend who moved 2000 miles away put there in fourth grade, shut my blinds permanently, and now am seriously considering begging my mom to let me live at another friend’s house for the rest of the year. (Already tried asking, it didn’t work.)

oh, and mentioning that in my last post about one of my friends liking one of my other friends, she is REALLY OBVIOUS ABOUT IT. Painfully. Obvious. I have been tempted to tell her how dumb she is being (hanging on his every word, giggling ALL the time, INSISTING on sitting by him in ALL her classes she has with him, blocking EVERYONE OUT from any ATTEMPT of a conversation with him [really annoying in science and history], laughing REALLY LOUDLY whenever he laughs, always talking about him when he’s not around, taking everything he SAYS into a WAAAY deeper meaning, to the point where I have had BOYs [boys!] ask me if she really likes him because she sure acts like it. To the point where it is annoying to be around her anymore. In history today the head of the history department showed a powerpoint on his time as a marine in Vietnam. It was sort of surreal, because all of his pictures are of the guys sunbathing or posing (well, duh, he’s not going to be taking pictures while fighting). But still, the funny captions (Like “my first friend in Vietnam, a drunk monkey) for photos taken during a time when these people could die at any moment seems sort of out of place. I mean, he explained that out of the four guys goofing off in one of the photos he was the only one that came back. I don’t know, it just struck me as strange.

I don’t really want to go, feel obligated to because the band’s putting it on to raise money, and that’s why we spent all last saturday doing a car wash so we can buy money for decorations and the DJ and stuff (the car wash turned out better than we all hoped for, though- 1,062 dollars. Our director told us it was more than we had raised inthe past four years combined).

I got an injury last week, seeing as some people seem to be talking a lot about injuries. On Friday, April 28th I think, I was going out to a bounce house thingy party thing that I didn’t really want to go to. I bopped my friend over the head as a joke, so she started chasing me. I wasn’t looking where I was going and I tripped over a 3 foot cement pole, and almost cut my eye. I actually got a huge cut on my eyelid, but my dad is not sure if I can get stitches on it because it is under the bone, but not on my eye and just barely on my eyelid. It was bleeding a lot, but now I am ok. Surprisingly, my glasses survived the fall for the most part, and I was able to go back to school for sixth period, which was not against my own will.

Just those extremely annoying unstressed syllables which could be ANY vowel and there is often absolutely no wa t tell for sure which one and you just have to guess and i hate guessing and there are som many vowels it could be that even an educated guess often has a good chance of being wrong and i have gone out in spelling bees SO many times for schwas ike the schwa in catenate last year grrr!!!!!!!

I was thinking about making a sort-of scrap book with no writing or pictures of me/me-ish things, just random stuff I find online or quotes from books in a journel. I read about the idea somewhere and it sounded fun. No orgainization- just glue something on, and glue something oer it if you feel like, even stuff like just part of a page from a magizine that’s a color you like. Could turn out interesting. Um, help me? There is this boy I used to know in like, what, fourth grade? And he just figured out I am still around. So he SEARCHED UP MY HOUSE, FOUND OUT EVERYTHING HE COULD ABOUT ME, and SENT ME A LOVE LETTER IN GNOMMISH (artemis fowl gnommish). AND HE EXPECTS ME TO WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH HIM! He calls almost EVERY DAY asking if I can play, comes to my house almost EVERY DAY dropping off some letter (today was the love letter… urgle) and is a bit of a geek.
Rather mean of me, but he is.
It is REALLY HARd to start up a friendship again on a love lette.r I could tell he liked me, but why must he bother me so? WHY COULDN’T HE LIVE IN A DIFFERENT TOWN!?!?!?!
And it is all because my mom waved at him one day when she was driving me home from school. I seriously. haven’t. seen. him. in. two. years. (sixth grade, I am in eighth)
And really, I believe in not dating/”hanging out” until I am sixteen. How do I avoid him/get this solved? (I already told him I couldn’t play for several weeks, but that was before the love letter)

To the point where it is annoying to be around her anymore. You are being a robot to society by staying in school. In history today the head of the history department showed a powerpoint on his time as a marine in Vietnam. It was sort of surreal, because all of his pictures are of the guys sunbathing or posing (well, duh, he’s not going to be taking pictures while fighting). But still, the funny captions (Like “my first friend in Vietnam, a drunk monkey) for photos taken during a time when these people could die at any moment seems sort of out of place. I mean, he explained that out of the four guys goofing off in one of the photos he was the only one that came back. I don’t know, it just struck me as strange.

I don’t really want to go, feel obligated to because the band’s putting it on to raise money, and that’s why we spent all last saturday doing a car wash so we can buy money for decorations and the DJ and stuff (the car wash turned out better than we all hoped for, though- 1,062 dollars. Our director told us it was more than we had raised inthe past four years combined).

I got an injury last week, seeing as some people seem to be talking a lot about injuries. On Friday, April 28th I think, I was going out to a bounce house thingy party thing that I didn’t really want to go to. I bopped my friend over the head as a joke, so she started chasing me. I wasn’t looking where I was going and I tripped over a 3 foot cement pole, and almost cut my eye. I actually got a huge cut on my eyelid, but my dad is not sure if I can get stitches on it because it is under the bone, but not on my eye and just barely on my eyelid. It was bleeding a lot, but now I am ok. Surprisingly, my glasses survived the fall for the most part, and I was able to go back to school for sixth period, which was not against my own will.

The Schwa was here is about a boy who is practically invisible. No one notices him, and he blends in. Its about what happens to another kid when he makes friends with him. It is great. Also the Amulet of Samarkand series is quite good, as well as Prophecy of the Stones, but what do you like?
206-What does that have to do with schwas? or does schwa have a completely different meaning than the one i know? *Chacks dictionary* no, it doesn’t. Just those extremely annoying unstressed syllables which could be ANY vowel and there is often absolutely no wa t tell for sure which one and you just have to guess and i hate guessing and there are som many vowels it could be that even an educated guess often has a good chance of being wrong and i have gone out in spelling bees SO many times for schwas ike the schwa in catenate last year grrr!!!!!!!

I was thinking about making a sort-of scrap book with no writing or pictures of me/me-ish things, just random stuff I find online or quotes from books in a journel. I read about the idea somewhere and it sounded fun. No orgainization- just glue something on, and glue something oer it if you feel like, even stuff like just part of a page from a magizine that’s a color you like. Could turn out interesting. I don’t think I have enough willpower/motivation to actually do it, though.
