Oh dear.
The time has come for me to choose a new name. I tire of “Necromancer”.
Any suggestions?
Past names:
Bellatrix Lestrange
Sorceress of the Northern Darkness
First Sorceress of Her Majesty Queen of the Universe
As you can see, I’m obsessed w/ majik.
Hmmm, maybe I’ll go back to Bellatrix…

Gosh…I have not been on here in ages Update me, anyone?

Am probably double-posting, so this is an amendment to the previous post and my concession to the trigger-happy spamfiends.
NO. SPAMBAD.
Whenever I appear here again this happens and frankly I’m sick of it. Listen, loves. IT DOES NOT MATTER whether there is a fifth installment of a random thread (with little conversation outside of “lol moar posts plz, I might add” ) anywhere on the internet. Believe it or not, YOUR LIFE WILL NOT BE SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACTED BY THIS.
Back in my day, we had one random thread per month. It killed my dialup, but sometimes I wonder if that’s preferable. Whatever.
mmgrraghffffff.
lol at my internet apathy and incoherent noisemaking.
and please no trying to get insane numbers of posts.
Finals are allright, I guess. My school ends june twelfth so I haven’t really started them yet.

I’m confused by the posting, pointless or otherwise. I mean, why do we need a new random thread if there is less than a week of may left?
I am going to work on a sailing ship as soon as I am old enough. ♥ The other day I went to a thingamajigger and there were two tallships that you could go on and look at. I was in love ♥ And then today I got to see one of them sailing down the river. Okay, so she wasn’t sailing, b ecause the wind was from the wrong direction, but she was in the water and moving. My destiny is to be a sailor-ette and an author.

49: Do sailors live on their boats all year? Or is there a sailing season, and the rest of the year the crew stays on land? Maybe they just sail whenever they feel like it… Anyhow, cool ambition. Would you make a living from your books, catching fish, both, or other?

I would include “Veela” in my name, but people’s opinions of veela have been horribly tainted since Fleu Delacour. Really, veela are just spirits of the wind who are absolutely gorgeous. The ones in… Russia, I think… are quite good at a bow and arrow, and are excellent singers. And healers. They can revive the dead, apparently.
The above information was taken from a story written long ago, with veela in it. I only have part of it, as it’s in my Harry Potter Dictonary/Encyclopedia thingamijigger.

*fines Necromancer half as much as he just fined kt the gr8* Do the name stuff on the name changes thread. Or, better yet, don’t do it at all.
63- That always happens to me to. I think it’s because, at the very top of the page, the bottom part of the letters that say MuseBlog and link to the main page are cut off. It doesn’t go away when I refresh. I don’t know how to make it go away, so I just ignore it.

The reason you couldn’t see your posts while they were being moderated was you changed your name. It only lets you see your posts while in that stage if the name in the “name” field matches the one on the post.
Please stop this crazy popo business.
I want the GAPAs to leave this thread up till the end of the month if we go past 1,000 posts. It’s bad enough we had to start a new one at the end of a month.

MY THOUGHTS ON THE HUGOS (CROSS POSTED FROM THE WHATEVER):
Personally, I’m supporting Blindsight by Mr. Peter Watts for Best Novel. I mean, if Mr. John Scalzi’s incredibly fabulous novels didn’t make it (sigh) than Watts should. As for Novella, if one of the noms have to get it, then it should be Mr. William Shunn. PS: Not a coincidence that they all have “Asimov’s” in italics after their names. As for novellette: unenthusiastically, Mr. Resnick. Short story’s difficult: the odds favor Mr. Gaiman, but this particular story doesn’t represent the best of his ability. Related book’s more difficult: it’ll be a crapshoot, in my opinion. If Children of Men wins, and it won’t, I’ll eat my gerbil. Boiled. As for DramShortPres, Doctor Who will get the prize without doubt, but “Army of Ghosts and Doomsday” is the one to put your money on. As for the Big C–eh, I’m not sure I know too much about this one but I am guessing Mr. Scott Lynch, with Mr. Schoen maybe second. Maybe.
I’m surprised Mr. Alastair Reynolds isn’t there, but he is on the “hard” end of the spectrum. Still, you’d think that maybe he’d be noticed.
I have to say, before I get my butt flamed by everyone who knows more about this than I do, that this is just what I think.
As for WorldCon’s being an accurate representation of the science fiction community, I have to say that sci-fi is kind of like Shiva: there are so many arms that you don’t know who’s pulling the strings. I have a feeling Denver will have a bigger turnout than Nippon 2007, but hey, it’s just a hunch.
Has anyone noticed how few women are Ns? That’s interesting. That’s verrrry interesting…
(END OF CROSS POST)
Additionally, the other thoughts I’ll add are the fact that the Hugos probably mean very little to people not acquainted with the Masonic recognition signals of the SF-initiated fanbase of people. Denvenation might bring these guys back to who their supporters are, but you never really know, do you?

66- Lovely how popular fiction can ruin perfectly good myths.
I HAVE A THIRTY-PAGE REPORT ON X-RAY DIFFRACTION, COMPLETE WITH A PRESENTATION, DUE TUESDAY. GAH! I have no idea what I’m doing, and have put it off for quite some time. On the bright hw-side, I actually did all of my calculus hw and only didn’t get one to match the answer in the back of the book, but I think that’s because the book does funny things with lns. So I’m hoping it’s chill, should be…
Remind me to develop a [slowly and with quote-bunny action] “Work. Ethic.” sometime. Seriously. Maybeh next year? Heh, who am I kidding, this is what I’m doing in lieu of hws.
Or just explain Bragg’s law to me, ‘kay? Ugh.
In other words, did anyone hear about some CalTech prof doing a successful experiment with cold fusion or something? I hear tell around Chem class…
Meh to the power of e to the power of infinity. We barely have any school left, I give up already!

82-Anagrams of “Dracasting”? I’ll think of some. Daring Cats? No. Craig Stand? Ungrammatical. Cigar Stand? You might as well be Humidorian. Drastic Nag? Too weird. A Card Sting? Makes no sense. Rancid Stag? Gross. Rancid Tags? Nonsensical. Gastric And? No, I don’t like that one. Tragic Sand? What’s tragic about sand? A Scant Grid? Too cryptic. Arcs Dating? No. Sac Trading? Err…no. Card Giants? Sounds plural. Ooh, I know! Acrid Angst. You have to be Acrid Angst. That’s so COOL! Acrid Angst. Yeah, I like that.
90-Come on, Melpo-Pants! You have the Museblog behind you! X-ray diffraction should be easy as pie.

GAPAs, I know we have a lot of threads hanging around right now, but could we have a Pirate thread? I’m Captian of the school Pirate club, and since school is ending, I’m in need of some piratical conversation.
Please, no Pirates of the Carribean. That movie is way to fake. Movie pirates = bad. Also, I haven’t seen it yet (stupid parents), so don’t spoil it.

104 (Glassboro)- nanowrimo.org . Basically, you leave whatever life you had bleeding in a ditch somewhere on the side of the road and go write a novel in a month.
Speaking of which, how ’bout one of them new writing threads, hm? -nudgenudgewinkwinksaynomore- Oh ambiguous deity, I feel so spammy asking. But I will do it for the good of humanity.

105- There’s always Books in Progress. But I think I’m beginning to see the difference between the two.
Ah, NaNo. *sigh* It’s almost Script Frenzy time, but the thread died ages ago. I’m kinda scared about NaNo, because in November I’ll actually have a life that involves doing something besides sitting on my computer writing, and if I can’t even write 1000 words on a bad day when I have nothing to do but write, I don’t see how I’m going to manage writing 1600 words EVERY day, most of which I will be in school on.

Yo. I’m not on the Who’s Here list. I seem to remember a time when I wanted to be anonymous (so my brother wouldn’t know which was me) but then I realized that he can see the username if I was the last one on the Museblog. So c’etait fini.
I think we should have a thread for all the old peeps still on the blog. Like a reunion. Gosh, I remember when the Who’s Here list was only one screen. *sniff sniff*
Whoa whoa whoa. Post #18. BELLATRIX is a COOL NAME?!?!?!?! She killed Sirius! She is evil evil evil evil!!! Who do you think you are, filthy scum of a blood traitor son of a cursed slimy worthless nasty despicable…*scathing mutterings*

(107) Bellatrix is a nice star, though. Blue giant, 250-some light-years away, right up there in the shoulder of Orion opposite Betelgeuse. Very pretty on a winter night.
0
0
112 – I tried watching the stars 2 nights ago but living in the city has me cursed in this field of entertainment. !@#$% light pollution
0
0
107 – I’ll ask you to take that back, thank you very much. Bellatrix is an awesome character. She is such a powerful witch, and come on, evil is soooo much cooler than good.
Yes, she killed Sirius, but oh well. She’s still completely spiff.
0
0
107 – Also, those insults you directed at Bellatrix were incorrect.
You said:
“filthy scum of a blood traitor son of a cursed slimy worthless nasty despicable”
I beg to differ.
Bellatrix is a pureblood witch, according to her family tree. Her sister Nyphadora married a Muggle, but that does not taint Bellatrix’s blood personally. Her parents were purebloods. So she is not a blood traitor. And she married a pureblood, too.
Further more, you call her “filthy scum of a blood traitor son of a …”. Does this mean that she is filthy because you think her family are blood traitors? If yes, then you support pure-bloods. So why are you picking on this witch, who’s killed many blood traitors, who you so despise?
Don’t mess with the Dark Arts.

107 (Quint)- I remember you. You haven’t been here in a while, have you?
It’s more than one screen now? O.O When did we get so big?
Eh, I’m not really for the idea of an oldbie-exclusive thread. There would be the question of “who we can allow in” and cause further oldbie-newbie tension, as if the whole stupid PoPoPo thing wasn’t bad enough. There would probably be at least five people complaining that they came the month after the cutoff and couldn’t they p-ease be allowed in p-ease?
Personally, I think the only Musers who have a right to be that exclusive (that they have their own thread and are allowed to ban people from it) based on join-date are Gaboomba-ers. Blogs aren’t really fun when you’re a perfectly nice newbie and all the oldbies are really cliquish and have their own language of inside jokes from their private threads.
I can’t tell if the sort of division that’s happening here is an example of that, or if it’s natural. I have noticed that the Gaboomba-05-early 06 people tend to be closer to each other, appear on the blog more sporadically, and have a few threads they tend to visit, mostly older ones that have fallen off the first page long ago. The late 06-07 people seem to have their own group, which hangs out a lot on the random threads and the popular new threads, and some old ones as well. Of course there are exceptions, and I’m not saying that I’m right. S’just something I noticed.
It could also be an age thing; I don’t know how old most of the bloggers here are, though, so I’m not sure. The Gaboomba-05-early 06 people I just mentioned do seem to be older on average, although I suppose that’s to be expected. (If we joined at around 12-13 like most people seem to and have been posting for two years, that would indeed make us older.) That bit is kind of chicken-or-egg, although my personal opinion is that join date matters more. (By the way, I looked through the insanely long Who’s Here page and discovered that indeed, most of my close MB friends did are of the G-05-e06 variety. If you can’t figure out the abbreviation, you have some pie in your skull.)
Has anyone else noticed similar/conflicting trends, or am I a horrible elitist oldbie looking for excuses to be exclusive and not post on the Welcome, Newcomers thread? (Well, that last the part about not posting on WN is definitely true.) Flame away, loves!

110- Do.Not.Encourage.People. It’s bad enough already.
Just in response to Penty, do you consider me an exception? I’m not saying which is better, and not asking you to, but I don’t know which to call myself. I don’t personally care if you have your own thread, and in fact often feel bad that I’m here, especially when I see my posts from when I first came. So, go ahead, have your own thread, I’ll not complain, and do my best to stop other people from doing so.

I’m early ’06, and I have a lot of friends from the G05-e06 period (Queenie, Penty, VF) but I don’t post sporadically and I have a lot of friends from l06-07 (emmatheduck, E2MB). Me ish betwixt.

116- that’s an interesting theory. I guess it holds true to me too, being a seventeen year old gaboomba poster. Hmm.. I don’t know about the threads chosen to post on bit. I’m not quite sure what my pattern would be there or if I even have a posting pattern.

91-Ugh. That happens to me WAY TOO MUCH.
108-My record for being on the computor is about three hours. My shortest time is ten seconds where my dad came in and told me I had been on for three hours the other day.

Hmm. I offish got an A in Science. Yay. *is releived*

116- I came along in early 07 and I barely ever come on the Random Threads. I don’t feel there is a huge barrier between oldbies and me, though I sometimes wish I had discovered MB sooner (mostly when looking through really cool old threads), and age is totally irrelevant to everything. I’m not sure where someone stops being merely an “acquaintance” and becomes a “friend”, so it’s hard to say. Also, about the Pointless Posting (which seems to have subsided a good deal if the old records are anything to go by), I don’t much care if people pointless post or not. On the other hand, I have only posted pointlessly a few times. So yeah. I would rather there isn’t an oldbie thread, though, as it would be kind of exclusive and mean.
Rant is over, and I take my leave.

124- yes. You are an newer MBer who feels like a non newcomer. Of course, those feelings are all stereotypes. On acquaintance vs. friend, you’re my friend!
126-Really? I don’t get it. It dosn’t happen for me.
124-Hmm. I came along in late 06, and started posting continuesly through April. Basically, if anyone’s over a month, they’re my friend. Unless they’re really mean. I used to PoPo and 2P a lot on the Evolution thread (not this one).

Oy-yoy! I come back after a vacation and I find my “home” overrun by addition-obsessed “astronomers” and pie-precipitating “petroglyphs!” Aye, for the nonce I will refrain from creasing that “Kat’s” bean in favor of worthier “targets.” Fill up thy oven, “Kolin Kelly,” with “klay” and “koal” so that I and my bricking brethren can take back what is ours- Kokonino Kounty!

I started posting March 4, 2007, and I was suprised how fast I became into it. Within 4 days, I felt like I knew how the place worked. Recently I began feeling that I was no longer a newbie but someone who’s been around for a while.

129- 128 was me. I was just testing to see if anyone had the foggiest idea what I was talking about- or who lived in Kokonino before the Muses took over. I assume “kalaboose” means jail, but I’ve never seen it in Krazy Kat.

Actually, “calaboose” means jail. I’m not sure that I’ve seen it in Krazy Kat, either, but I’m sure George Herriman knew the word, and it’s hard to imagine that he could have resisted using it at some point.

116- I guess I would be considered in the older, e06 group. And I do consider myself friends with older musers like ebeth, e~a, penty and such, but I have also known them longer. I get along with a lot of the ‘younger/newer’ people fine, though.
Thing is though, there was still a lot of pointless posting ‘back when only the idfference ws we knew when to be serious and stop when someone said somthing important. And it was… confined, for lack of a better term.
132- We’ve been over the difference between potinless and random so many times I really don’t want to bring it up again.

107- I remember you… Reunion thread… nah, too hard to get everyone here, and an exclusive thread would be… I dunno… We’re all Musers here. [pie me]
116- Well, there are those people who, like, post for a week and then disappear. I think. Unless they change their names. I guess that’s also how we got so big… I’d probably be an early ’06er, wherever that leaves me. Still, an exclusive thread… be nice to the newbies!
Or something like that. Meh.
I’ll be vanishing from here again until I finish my chemistry paper.

141 (second comment): Exactly! Like Evie, and Lawrence of Antarctica/Captain Sansirel Dansiit, and, well, I can’t think of any more. GAPAs, have those two been gone a long time? It seems like it… they were cool

E2MB-but you keep posting about long-past events as if you had been involved!
Big paper due in, um, a week and a little.
Note for popoers/people who don’t seem to understand what “random” means: random means: without method. That means stuff that is interesting, but doesn’t have to do with anything else (on the blog, it would be something that wasn’t talking about the same thing as another post). Now you have me saying something that isn’t random.
There is NO thread where the popopo won’t get you.

Has anyone read the book “2095” by Jon Scieszka? If you haven’t, read it. It’s very funny. In the year 2095, people are going to pick up that book and laugh their heads off. (It’s a short, fast-paced paperback, so it shouldn’t take terribly long to read. And a little tip: read Chapter 2 first, then Chapter 1, then Chapter 3, then Chapter 4, etc.)
0
0
116- I agree with a lot of what you say, especially the popopo stuff, but I think that it’s mostly a combination of age with maturity for the pre-06 people. I remember being really surprised when I found out how young some people were (especially Phoebe) in the early days of the MB, but then also I remember being surprised at how old some people were who came along later. It seems that a lot of the people from the early days were, in general, more mature and that as time has gone by, the general maturity/intellegence/age level of the blog has decreased. This might just be the good-old-days syndrome, but it seems like we never had as much “COME ON GUYS WE MUST GET THE FIFTH/TENTH/SECOND THREAD BECAUSE LYKE OMG, WE DON’T GOT NOTHING BETTER TO BE THINKING ABOUT” or “OMGGG FIRST POST SQUEE” or “whee! random!” posting. I actually think that the change began around late ’05, maybe October or November.
And it’s weird, but I still kind of consider some people from that era “newbies” while there are others who joined last month, week, whatever who seem like they’ve been here forever. It just seems to depend, to me, on the level of demonstrated maturity, on the willingness to read other people’s posts and not clog up the system with pointless crap designed to boost the post-count for a thread or whatever, who realize that people are trying to converse here, and that their aforementioned space-filler, lack of spelling and grammar capability, typos, whatever is getting in the way of that. It seems to depend on the ability to realize that caplocks is not the proper way to make your point. It seems to depend on realizing the fact that you are, in fact, not in charge of the other people, of the blog, that the admins have lives and cannot be mod-ing all the time, that if you want to make a list of something, reading through previous posts and figuring out who goes where will be more effective than asking people repeatedly to post that information, because it usually won’t happen. It depends on the ability to drop one’s own pet project when it becomes apparent that noone else is interested. And, perhaps most important, to me, whether you’re a newbie or not seems to depend on what you bring to the conversation, and how much you take away by being hyper, by spelling badly, by being closeminded, ignorant, or unwilling to listen to others.
I guess all I’m saying is that in my heart, some of you will always be newbies (okay, collective “awww” time now), whether you stay for a day or a decade.

152- The whole “There is NO thread where the popopo won’t get you” thing reminded me of “Big Brother is watching” from the book 1984 by George Orwell.
Until now, I had hardly even heard that phrase, and now it’s everywhere! (Okay well, just on the Random Thread, but it seems like everywhere!)

123- You used bad grammar. It should have been “Evil is much more fun that good”, not “evil is funner that good”. I agree, though.
0

(156) In Britain, “fun” is considered a noun, not an adjective. To Brits, the sentence “Evil is fun” is like the sentence “Evil is madness.” They wouldn’t make that particular mistake, because it would never occur to them to turn “fun” into a comparative — just as you wouldn’t say “Evil is madnesser.”

186 – Probably. As long as the chance for another thread is there, we’re likely to keep pushing for it.
I wouldn’t care a bit how many posts this thread got if it was Part 3. But now that it’s Part 4, I sort of want to tie the record. I want to stop myself, but I just can’t resist….nnngghh…..

187 – E2MB, why exactly do you care so much about it? It’s pointless, meaningless, and really really annoying to the rest of us. For some reason, you seem to value quantity over quality. I have a suggestion: try another forum for that. Every time you (or anyone else) has an urge to post some random, pointless, annoying message for no reason other than to rack up the oh-so-valueable posts (that was sarcasm, in case you couldn’t tell), go to wikipedia, click “community portal,” scroll way down, click “Sandbox” and post it there. It will get it out of your system without annoying anyone. Because, newsflash, I don’t care how many bloody threads we get. I really don’t. I could care less if we only had one. What I do care is not having the recent-comment sidebar and my page filled up with empty blather. Seriously, guys, grow up and get a life.

Here is omething random that I have observed: The average muser has dark hair, loves to read, has liberally based political tendencies, is addicted to chocolate, adores Douglas Adams, and the vast majority are good writers. I am definitly two of those and may be considered by some one of them.

~*~IdEa~*~ … to solve this recent problem…
What if the GAPAs hereby proclaimed that for ALL random threads, instead of having just one thread (because that would take forever to load) or a new thread every 300-odd posts, there would be new threads SPORADICALLY.

yes I am in a bad mood today. Yes I am unfairly taking it out on others. Yes I am acting like I’m about five years old. Do I care? No.
222/214- You are most certianly a good writer!
If a had a daemon I’m unsure of what it would be. I’d have to know a lot more about the way people view me to give an accurate guess. Did you know it’s going to be made into a movie!

I’m not sure what this is. But heck, I’ll do it.
Dark hair? In the winter it’s darker, but it’s a reddish color.
Loves to read? Definitely
Liberal? Yep
Chocolate? Yes, please!
Douglas Adams? Yep
Good writer? Yep

227- I know! I’m kind of nervous . . . But it’ll be fine. (I hope.)

NOTICE FROM THE POPOPO
The rule stated in comment 218 will be strictly enforced.
227- Your daemon might not even be fixed yet. When I read those books the first time I kept wondering what my daemon would be, but at that point it wouldn’t even have been fixed. And now that it would be, I know what it would be. Weird, no?

(230) RtH, we know you mean well, but random polls have appeared on any number of threads, not just the Polling Place. The PoPoPo will have more credibility if it concentrates on the truly pointless.

I have considered quite a few animals, but none seems quite right. i often ask my friends to guess for me, but then I have to explain the whole daemon concept to them. At what age do you suppose one’s daemon is fixed?
0
0
233-Not since I came, so I wouldn’t know. Besides, I think it’s better to put them all in one place. All of those comments are answering one comment, and are, therefore, “systematic”, not random. Just a thought!

Dark hair? Yep
Loves to read? DUH.
Liberal? Yes
Chocolate? Give me more!
Douglas Adams? *nods*
Good writer? Yes indeedy.
If I had a dæmon, it would probably be a baby panda. Or a lynx.

If you haven’t read HDM, you are doomed to suffer for eternity in the Pit of Despair.

(235) There were “qwik powls” as recently as April Showers, actually. By all means, encourage people to group polls in one place if you like, but isn’t that something altogether different from invoking the PoPoPo?

208- All of those pretty much fit, except my hair is golden-brown and I’m going to be modest about my writing skills. I don’t think we’ve had the pleasure to meet, so welcome! *pies* You seem to have got the hang of things around here. Don’t worry if you don’t fit the average muser profile. There is a huge variation of personality on museblog, and we all get along fine. Well, most of us do, most of the time…

Dark hair? yeah, though I was blonde when I was little and still am getting used to the dark and browness of it, though I like it better this way.
Loves to read? yup!
Liberal? yup, though not all MBers are.
Chocolate? of course!
Douglas Adams? Not my favorite author but I like his books.
Good writer? People tell me so. I’m not so sure but I like my poetry.
207- you don’t know me? I’ve been here for ages!
215- I like that plan! ^_^
221- are you the old Sphinx or someone new? *pies with pumpkin pie for either case*
Speaking of Daemons, what do you guys think mine would be? Why? The movie’s site seems to think that it would be a gibbon but I’m curious to hear your opinions. (there is a daemon quiz thing on the golden compass movie site – it should be fairly easy to find)

lololol srsly guys are we actually arguing about this spam thing still. Can’t we just frolic in Musery and good humor for a month or something.
Or is MB srs business now? D:
(236) They never have that book at the library or anywhere…it’s upsetting. I’ve wanted to read it for so long.

234- Puberty. 12-13.
236- I am of the same mind. In fact, i think I’m going to reread the books again.

Dark hair? Yesh.
Loves to read? Love. Not a very strong word. Not nearly strong enough.
Liberal? Yep
Chocolate? See ‘Loves to Read’
Douglas Adams? Oooh! Ineffable.
Good writer? Yes, Douglas Adams is a good writer.

240- For some reason I think a bird of some sort. That’s just what I think automatically, and it’s probably ’cause of Merle Linwood, but it seems to fit nicely.

Woohoo! We’re closing in on June! And school gets out in 9 days! w00tness!
The only thing I’m not w00ting about is the 2-month drought of MuseCasts. *sniff* But that’s okay. I imagine those are hard to make.
That reminds me, I’m thinking of making an unofficial MuseBlog magazine. (Actually, I have it all planned out in my head and am going to start making it as soon as Summer Vacation starts.)
Let’s start the countdown!
MINUTES UNTIL JUNE: 139

244- Hah! Ineffable! From Mostly Harmless! But it asks if you’re a good writer.
Nice pic, R-t H!
Very nice. Did you draw it on the computer? What program, if so?
My head hurts. Grr.
319 (last thread)- I don’t like Thanksgiving either, but I’d get in trouble if I went on the computer then. Didn’t we discuss this before?
I’m procrastinating. I should be practicing, and/or doing question #33 on my math take home test. I’m been on the computer way too much today.
Cool picture RtH 8)
2 – Probably Paint.
EVERYBODY!!! POST LIKE MAD SO WE CAN PROVE THE GAPAS WRONG!!!
The pic goes perfectly with the rhyme “April Showers bring May Flowers!”
Third post?? Nice pic RTH!!
WE STILL HAVE FOUR DAYS LEFT IN MAY!!! THAT’S ONLY 75 POSTS A DAY!!! SO PITCH IN AND POST!!!
What is the address to email the GAPAS a picsh?
sorry for the 2p
AppleWorks 6.
Thanks GAPAs!!!
How long will it be up though???
8-But no PoPoing. Thank you everyone.
*Bows* Thanks all!!!
PARTY *dies*
HELP ME AH’M DED!!!!!!! NO SRSLY PEOPLE IM DEAD DIG ME UP AND GIVE ME SOME ORANGE SODA!! IT SHOULD BE THE KIND YOU GET FROM WHOLE FOODS WITH THE LITTLE “365” ON THE FRONT BTW.
Apparently I make better jokes when I’m dead.
I don’t think I saw you, Potato Chip, either. Unfortunateley. We’ll have to plan more, the next time. If we ever go to that area at around the same time again.
So Kiki are you still at the party or are you just having after-party deadness syndrome? *sends orange soda from whole foods that doesn’t exist in his city*
Sorry Kiki.
*sends more all-reviving soda*
GAPAs would there be any way to make a thread where people could NOT post, but could just look at all of the pictures Musers have made and sent in?
Oh no Kiki isn’t posting I don’t think the soda got there in time.
Oh dear.
The time has come for me to choose a new name. I tire of “Necromancer”.
Any suggestions?
Past names:
Bellatrix Lestrange
Sorceress of the Northern Darkness
First Sorceress of Her Majesty Queen of the Universe
As you can see, I’m obsessed w/ majik.
Hmmm, maybe I’ll go back to Bellatrix…
18 – Bellatrix is a fine name.
18- Oh, I didn’t know you used to be BL. That’s the problem I have with name changes, if I the post where they say they’re changing their name I never know.
I just took a shower…
Hahah finally my muscles are bigger than my pimples. lol
Eek, part quatro.
Meh printer’s being all weird, I’m trying to print my bull about Roswell for English class [the Muse article on it is one of my resources!] and it doesn’t want to print! Gah!
Also, I will be Buster Keaton this Thursday!
18- You’re back! For good this time, or are you still not really allowed on?
8- I thought that you were done with that. I will fine you just as much as I fined r.c. if you PoPo once.
24- *thinks hard* Who’s “r. c. “?
Kiki’s “ded” because I’m the only one who sent soda.
Red-tailed HAWK

No, I’m ok. I took the soda from the cooler on the patio and had a few gulps.
I had ONE FRIEND! And when she came (later in teh party), everything was better. We played with chalk in the front yard and made cartoonies!
18– Bellatrix is pretty sweet. I also like Sorceress of the Northern Darkness.
Gosh…I have not been on here in ages
Update me, anyone?
Life has been insane for me, though…you know, end of the year rubbish they pile on us, drama, papers, procrastinating getting the best of me, drama, deadlines, drama…
Luckily most of the drama has subsided. And things feel better now…
cant wait till june!
27. you have not been here in so long that i dont know who you are! let me introduce myself! i am kt the all powerfull!i like drama class too!( i see you go to them but do you entireley like them your post was unclear)
25 – r.c. is radioactive cheese. Radioactive cheese has only been on three times, but in those three times he/she pointless posted a LOT, so Glassboro attacked him/her wih heavy fines.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, PEOPLE!!! POST, POST, POST!!! BUT DON’T BE POINTLESS!!!
It’s weird. RtH’s picture is in such a sharp contrast to the previous May Melee picture it seems as if the melee has been destroyed.
I thought of sending in a pic for May Melee of Kokopelli being pied by Urania, but I never got around to it.
28- She’s probably talking abou the other kind of drama, where everyone overreacts to the simplist things and get all emotional for no reason.
i am putting forth posts
ok?
NOT POINTLESS!
crocodiles cant chew
NOT POINTLESS!
crocodiles cant chew
NOT POINTLESS!
a hotel in las vegas has a 2 story tall chocolate fountain
oh please dont fine me in chocolate!
NOT POINTLESS!
75% of all animals are insects
oh fine i’ll stop
I have to leave MuseBlog now. Bye everyone!!!
I’m back!!! Oh how I love school computers!!!
Lets get to part 5. POST POST POST! POST OR DIE!!! Mwah ha ha ha ha! *spaz*
Cool!!! I have started a posting movement!!!
42- -kills- -mutilates- destroys- -etc.-
PLEASE STOP YOU’RE RUINING OUR PRETTYFUL THREAD.
Ok minirant is over.
I put all my awesome short stories on my flash drive today at school and will post them soon when there’s a NEW WRITING THREAD.
Not cool. Posting movement=popos=:(
Everyone, cast your vote for June Jelly as our next random thread title! Someone else mentioned it in the last thread, and it needs more support.
Mmf. Penty returns, not heralded by trumpets or anything of the sort, and attempts to start a conversation that is not about pointless posts.
How’re finals going, for those of you who have them? (Yes, lyke high school omg.)
gay penguins.
People. Please don’t. It’s still pointless, even if you try to convince yourself otherwise. I thought we were finally over the whole “OMG let’s get x-number of threads!!!” phase.
All you need is
gay penguinlove.45- yay! penty’s back! gay penguins? Happy penguins? Homosexual penguins? huh?
and please no trying to get insane numbers of posts.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Penguins?
Yes-my picture will be up for a short enough period already.
NO POPOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How was the party Kiki?
Where did you go penty?
And kt- I
likeLOVE random facts, and so you would be welcome on the random factoid thread!!!!!RtH

june jelly i like it!
June Jelly? What does that mean?
53-I don’t know, but it has to mean something.
I personally like it because every time this girl at my lunch table says “jelly” I crack up laughing for no reason. Doesn’t that epitomize the happiness and randomness that is MuseBlog?
Oops. I was confused between Penty and Dodecahedron, and wondering why people were so happy that c+q was back, when she has been here. No offense intended.
You knew that it was coming, kt the gr8. *fines double the highest amount that I fined r.c.* Don’t forget to pay up, it doubles every day that you’re late.
Have we ever had a fifth part?
…
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Okay, now my name changing…
How’s this?
Or this?
Or maybe just Zethra?
Hey, this is nice…
Nah…
I’m looking at my crayon box right now…
Hold on…
GAPAs, I just put like four posts on here, but I only see one of mine above this (that says “your comment is awaiting moderation”). Have I lost all of my precious posts that were taking up space on this thread as we try to reach Random 5?!
Oh wait there they are, never mind…
And why does the screen say “Done, but with errors on the page”? Now I know that’s not natural…
Stupid internet…
NO, no, I take it back, precious internet, we loves you, please don’t disconnect me…
I vote June Jelly!
49: Do sailors live on their boats all year? Or is there a sailing season, and the rest of the year the crew stays on land? Maybe they just sail whenever they feel like it… Anyhow, cool ambition. Would you make a living from your books, catching fish, both, or other?
Back to my name-changing experiments…
I would include “Veela” in my name, but people’s opinions of veela have been horribly tainted since Fleu Delacour. Really, veela are just spirits of the wind who are absolutely gorgeous. The ones in… Russia, I think… are quite good at a bow and arrow, and are excellent singers. And healers. They can revive the dead, apparently.
The above information was taken from a story written long ago, with veela in it. I only have part of it, as it’s in my Harry Potter Dictonary/Encyclopedia thingamijigger.
Have I ever mentioned that cerulean’s my favorite color?
—
Alright, I admit, I am bored. I just finished my first day of finals and I can think of nothing better to do than be on this blog.
*fines Necromancer half as much as he just fined kt the gr8* Do the name stuff on the name changes thread. Or, better yet, don’t do it at all.
(66) Necromancer,
I was nicer to Fleur and veelas in my Muse/Harry Potter fanfiction.
63- That always happens to me to. I think it’s because, at the very top of the page, the bottom part of the letters that say MuseBlog and link to the main page are cut off. It doesn’t go away when I refresh. I don’t know how to make it go away, so I just ignore it.
I have a kwl picsh and how do I send it to the GAPS?? Well, it’s not actually that kwl. Hmph.
I vote June Jelly!
I’d put Veela in your name. Veela sound cool!
57-61 and also 65: If you really want to change your name, I think it should be ______ the Necromancer. Because I like your old one, plus then we all know it’s you. Actually, at one time weren’t you some combination of past names? Bellamancer or Necrotrix would be cool.
My arm hurts from playing tennis yesterday.
RtH of the Fast-typing popopo

76-I dunnno about that… I got eighty eight GWAM in keyboarding today. Talk about fast-typing!
wow…red tailed HAWK, are you Eugenia V. from the may-june 2007 issue? she drew all the muses. (just a guess!)
78-And that theory comes from…?
Hmph. I got my own website up *sqwee*! But none of my friends will look at it because it’s not a myspace *un-sqwee*.
I_AM_a boy. But I did see those drawings, and thought they were very good.
78- Red-tailed HAWK is a boy.
Ok I need a reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaalllllllllly good & cool new name hows about somthing like……hmm…………….an anagram of my real name. An anagram is where you rearange the letters in a word/ phrase to get a new word/ phrase? Anyways how about something related to the comic i draw and write…. what about MZ master….. oh D@$$$#% SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS

Don’t hyperventilate!!! What’s the big rush???
Beavo-Can you post a link or will it tell us who you are?
(83) Sorry, no links to MBers’ personal web sites.
(45) UGH FINALS.
THAT IS ALL I CAN MANAGE.
UGH.
That’s what I thought.
But a question for Beavo- doesn’t it cost a bit to have a site?
AAAHHH, SWEET FREEDOM!!! I’M DONE WITH ALGEBRA 1 HOMEWORK!!! VIC-TOR-Y!!!!!!
Wow. People took my pointless-posting movement a lot more seriously than I thought they would. It started out as a bad joke, but then people started pitching in and pointless posting.
I vote NO June Jelly. I do not want MuseBlog to have a picture of grape jelly at the top. What kind of image of MuseBlog would this give newbies?
ok i love noodles, and who loves the Megaman Zero series??????????????????
I so want to call off sick, but the parent’s aren’t cooperating. Nor are they, with the Fri/Sat allnighter. Gah. I’ll manage, I always do.
*feel svery good that she doesn’t have more homework, but still misses seeing everyone everyday*
I’m getting a lot of lectures about being on the computer to much… even though I’m not, really. but just as I get on a parent will walk ina and yell how I’ve been on for hours. Grr.
Other than that, life is not worth mentioning.
87- Any updates for the R&R thread?
86 – No, not necessarily. As a school project, I made a lovely website about stress. You can look at it here: . No worries GAPAs, no personal info.
I need to post in my real name. Sorry for PoPoPoing. *is actually sorry*
82-Anagrams of “Dracasting”? I’ll think of some. Daring Cats? No. Craig Stand? Ungrammatical. Cigar Stand? You might as well be Humidorian. Drastic Nag? Too weird. A Card Sting? Makes no sense. Rancid Stag? Gross. Rancid Tags? Nonsensical. Gastric And? No, I don’t like that one. Tragic Sand? What’s tragic about sand? A Scant Grid? Too cryptic. Arcs Dating? No. Sac Trading? Err…no. Card Giants? Sounds plural. Ooh, I know! Acrid Angst. You have to be Acrid Angst. That’s so COOL! Acrid Angst. Yeah, I like that.
90-Come on, Melpo-Pants! You have the Museblog behind you! X-ray diffraction should be easy as pie.
There is no ice cream in the house. I have nothing to eat that is sugary. Gack. I may die.
I may also go to DenCon in Aug 2008! Yay!
94 – Did you mean PoPoing? PoPoPoing is something you don’t need to say sorry for doing.
97-Whoops, my bad.
WOOT FOR RANDOMNESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh wait, my link didn’t work.
My wonderful stress website is here:
[Sorry, Necromancer. I’m sure it’s a lovely website, but you know that’s not allowed. –Robert]
Oh. Kay, well thanks for telling me. I was about to try again, y’know.
Ooh! Great idea.
That sounds good! I have some things to say about pirates. (Not all bad.)
91- Ugh, I get the same thing! Gah. Poor JS…
95- Thanks for the support. Meh, what’s thirty pages [double-spaced] when I did NaNo, yes? ^_^
What is NaNo?
104 (Glassboro)- nanowrimo.org . Basically, you leave whatever life you had bleeding in a ditch somewhere on the side of the road and go write a novel in a month.
Speaking of which, how ’bout one of them new writing threads, hm? -nudgenudgewinkwinksaynomore-
Oh ambiguous deity, I feel so spammy asking. But I will do it for the good of humanity.105- There’s always Books in Progress.
103- And, I swear, just as i posted that, my dad came in and told me to get off. I timed it; I had been on for four minutes. Grrr.
And I shan’t tell him where he left the paper now. Meh.
108 – Ooh that’s not very fun.
Hee hee about the paper!
COME ON PEOPLE POST POST POST WE WANT TO GET TO PART 5 DON’T WE?
okay really I’ll stop now.
My band has a concert tonight. Some of the songs our band has only played together twice.
I’m worried….
56 – Yes, but it’s rare. And we’ve never had a part 6, even though we got agonizingly close 1 year ago.
(107) Bellatrix is a nice star, though. Blue giant, 250-some light-years away, right up there in the shoulder of Orion opposite Betelgeuse. Very pretty on a winter night.
112 – I tried watching the stars 2 nights ago but living in the city has me cursed in this field of entertainment. !@#$% light pollution
107 – I’ll ask you to take that back, thank you very much. Bellatrix is an awesome character. She is such a powerful witch, and come on, evil is soooo much cooler than good.
Yes, she killed Sirius, but oh well. She’s still completely spiff.
BELLATRIX. IS. EVIL.
AND I DIDN’T SAY WHOSE BLOOD SHE WAS BEING TRAITOR TO.
ANY FURTHER OBJECTIONS MAY BE TAKEN TO THE HARRY POTTER THREAD. HAVE A NICE DAY.
Scum.
116: Eh, I can’t really say. I just came this past March. I’m sixteen though, so I guess that’s a little abnormal. You would think I would have checked this out earlier.
I’m early ’06, and I have a lot of friends from the G05-e06 period (Queenie, Penty, VF) but I don’t post sporadically and I have a lot of friends from l06-07 (emmatheduck, E2MB). Me ish betwixt.
Wasn’t the whole idea of an older-MBer thread what started the chameleon stuff? take older however you like, agewise or blogtime.
107-I have No Idea who you’re talking about, but he/she/it sounds AWESOME! Eville is so much funner than good.
It’s happened again! The title of this thread is no longer May Melee, but May Mêlée! Which GAPA is doing this?
Fish Muffin!
Better behave yourself, or Offisa Pupp will fling you in the old “kalaboose.”
I started posting March 4, 2007, and I was suprised how fast I became into it. Within 4 days, I felt like I knew how the place worked. Recently I began feeling that I was no longer a newbie but someone who’s been around for a while.
117 – *pies with majikal pie* Just to let you know, you should be feeling the Itching Hex any minute now…
Please, let us stop this unfriendly banter. I do not appreciate insults, nor does anyone else. You have your opinion, I have mine. Doesn’t mean you have to be rude. Beacuse that’s what you are being. Rude.
118 – Dude, this is the Random Thread. We’re allowed to post like mad on this thread. Because this thread supposedly pwns randomness.
134- It does sound like a Herrimanny word. Ooh, this gives me a good idea…
*goes to Muse Fanfic thread*
116- I guess I would be considered in the older, e06 group. And I do consider myself friends with older musers like ebeth, e~a, penty and such, but I have also known them longer. I get along with a lot of the ‘younger/newer’ people fine, though.
Thing is though, there was still a lot of pointless posting ‘back when only the idfference ws we knew when to be serious and stop when someone said somthing important. And it was… confined, for lack of a better term.
132- We’ve been over the difference between potinless and random so many times I really don’t want to bring it up again.
128,129, 133, 134- I have absolutly no idea what is going on there. But it definatly seems to qualify as random.
(136
137- You did it again.
133-4: What’s Krazy Kat?
Strange. Maybe I have browser problems. What I wrote (and tried to post) was “look up ‘Krazy Kat’ on Wikipedia, and you’ll understand.”
It seems like it…
they were cool
141-CHEMISTRY! gah
RtH of the Popopo

144 – Like what? I’m sure I can explain it. And the one place where the popopo won’t attack you is the HTML practice thread.
144- Ok, that was a little 1984.
I agree with SM on the reunion thread thing.
Wow. The GAPAs snipped every single link. Even the one to MuseFanPage.
149: Wow. That should be posted on every online community… such insight!
146-What are you talking about, Julieb???
E2MB- um, well, hmm… Can’t really think of any right now, but sometimes you have talked about stuff from a year ago on the blog or something. *can’t think*
Oh and the popopo won’t get you on the HTML thread IF you are actually practicing HTML.
RtH

152- The whole “There is NO thread where the popopo won’t get you” thing reminded me of “Big Brother is watching” from the book 1984 by George Orwell.
149- yes. For me, people on MB and my opinions of them depends on their own maturity and the contents of their posts. If they wish to post “OMG first post!!!” type posts, I may not like them as much. I much prefer those who, newbie or one who’s been here for ages, post things that are intelligent and interesting to read or state an actual opinion minus the outraged and annoying all caps. I do want to read your opinions and ideas if they contribute to the conversation and to museblog as a whole. Also, I agree on the point that we are not GAPAs and we should not try to be. The GAPAs are here for a reason deleting many spam posts and snipping things out of our posts for a safer time on MB. Thank you GAPAs! Above all, remember (though it’s rather clichéd…) the saying “We are all Musers here.”
Until now, I had hardly even heard that phrase, and now it’s everywhere! (Okay well, just on the Random Thread, but it seems like everywhere!)
123- You used bad grammar. It should have been “Evil is much more fun that good”, not “evil is funner that good”. I agree, though.
139- Thank you, although I am still relatively new. On my never-ending quest to find out what others think of me, do you still consider me a newbie?
156- And that would “Evil is funner than good”, not “Evil is funner that good.”
Drat. Possibly my first unfixed typo when I wasn’t looking away from the screen and keyboard.

I wanna prove dem rong!
Who? And besides, “wanna”, “dem” and “rong” aren’t words. Want to, them, and wrong are what you should say.
I rather liked (against my better judgment) Em’s abridgment of Watership Down, which can be found, here. It was funny in a let’s-butcher-the-story kind of way.
I feel totally guilty about liking it, because I ♥ Watership Down, but it was very amusing.
152 – When I first came on MuseBlog I spent hours a day reading old outdated threads. But a while ago I stopped because it just got boring. (MuseBlog has had over 800 threads, you know.)
161-163, what are you trying to do, exactly?
I like being part of the Midnight squad!
168- What you were.
169 – Ah, you want to be part of the midnight squad? All you have to do is post on MuseBlog in the 10:00 pm to 1:00 am time slot.
Or did you want to get to part 5? I do to, but we need to keep quiet about it or the PoPoPo will fine us chocolit.
Grr! MuseBlog’s main page takes sooo long to load!!!
168 (E2MB)- Psh, it was only eleven blogtime when you posted. Me, I’m *~HaRdCoRe~* midnight.
Everyone who responded to 116- OMGTHANKS. <3 I never expected anyone to actually pay much attention to that post, as it is one of them Penty-rants again. I think I’ll write an essay this summer on Museblog population trends, because I’ll have nothing better to do and I’ll have to practice. Your input is much appreciated and loved, and I’ll probably answer individual posts when it’s not midnight the night before my chem final.
Yeah, Penty is in an inordinately good mood, so she’s only going to snark a little at ag for pointless-posting. TROLL! IN THE MUSEBLOG! TROLL!
Oh Glassboro, this is lol teh internetz. Grammer opshunil.
Wow! It’s amazing how many people are on at this time of night!
aahg I need to go to bed now.
172 – Well now it’s midnight!
172- You used the word inordinate! I love that word! ♥ ♥ ♥
175- Yes, but for you (and me) it’s only ten.

I’m an E06, too…but mostly I’ve been lurking.
I just went to see a folly!! Squee! It was one of the ones in Muse! I took a picture of me reading Muse in front of it! Squee again!
177- Haha! Nice. We seem to have several folloers here.
Wow, I’m hungry. I usually don’t get hungry in the
morn-hour or so after I get up.Hey, it’s 11:11!
176 – Yes I know. We are very blessed to be in the time zone we are becasue then we get the late-late posts without having to stay up terribly late!
Time to start the posting counter:

178 – I said I would stop saying “POST POST POST LIKE MAD SQUEEE”, I never said anything about not doing it myself!
*pays the chocolate*
RtH, if you’re worried about your picture being taken down earlier than absolutely necessary, I’m sure the GAPAs would be happy to post your picture on Part 5!
182- But when we’re posting at night almost no one’s around. And I don’t really care about late posts.
Did you know there used to be several hundred time zones, because everyone told time by the sun, and then it got narrowed down to four?
(182, 183, etc.),
What if we Administrators said that we’re not going to start another thread no matter how many posts we get? Would that change the atmosphere on the random thread? For the better, perhaps?
185 – Only 4? I thought there were 24, one for each hour of the day.
Though having no new thread no matter how many posts there are might be even cooler.
186- Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes! Do it! But do start another if desperate. If people behave themselves. I can get late posts. I can get midnight at about… 10 in the morning. (The next day.) If I calculated that at all right.
No, 8 in the morning. The next day.
188 – What time zone are you in? East Asian?
190- She lives in England somewhere. Somewhere close to Wales. On the Severn.
How do I know?
I am psychic.
…and an hour later I’m not hungry anymore even though I forgot to eat.
My motabilism is weird.
186- Yes. Please. Because this is just anoying, and most of us honestly donn’t care while two or three people clog this place up.
186- yes, please, do it.
[/rant]
158 [Glassboro] – assuming you were talking about my post 149, I’d say that you are in the “still-a-little-newbieish-sometimes-but-transitioning-nicely” stage. You’re good.
Righto. The GAPAs hereby proclaim: no Part 5, no matter what.
Okay. I will stop pointless posting. Sorry. sorrysorrysorry.
I just couldn’t stop myself. reallly. *makes very small voice* sorry.
I think if there were no part 2’s and 3’s and whatevers, I would be free from this temptation! Then me and other people would actually post a lot less, and we wouldn’t need all those parts!!!

87- Who said anything about a picture of jelly? It’s just a name.
111-We did have a part six, a little while ago.
116- I kind of see that the older(=here longer) people post less but when they do they have more to say. And the newer ones post more and have less in a post. Like what 149 said. But what about the mid-06 people? All three of us. I am curious what people think of me, but I don’t want to be obnoxious about asking. I post a lot but I try to say something others care about in a post, especially recently.

Here is omething random that I have observed: The average muser has dark hair, loves to read, has liberally based political tendencies, is addicted to chocolate, adores Douglas Adams, and the vast majority are good writers. I am definitly two of those and may be considered by some one of them.
Dark hair? No, I’m blond.
Loves to read? Check. Mega-check.
Liberal? Check.
Chocolate? Allergic.
Douglas Adams? Check.
Good writer? Check.
208 – That’s because that’s the type of people who read Muse!

Dark hair? Yes, actually.
Loves to read? Heck yes.
Liberal? Do you have to ask? Of course!
Chocolate?
Douglas Adams? Favorite writer!
Good writer? Don’t like to brag, but yes.
Dark hair? Sort of. If medium-dark brownish hair counts.
Loves to read? You betcha
Liberal? Unfortuantly I cannot tell you
Chocolate? It’s yummy
Douglas Adams? He is a good writer.
Good writer? I like to write. I dunno if any of my writing’s good or not, though.
Dark hair? Dark- to medium-brown.
Loves to read? All the time!
Liberal? Erm . . . maybe . . . if that’s what I think it is. I’m not very political at all.
Chocolate? Yesyesyesyesyesyesyes!
Douglas Adams? Never read him.
Good writer? Well, everyone seems to like my writing, so I guess so. (I can’t judge my own.) And I certainly have the right attitude!

What if the GAPAs hereby proclaimed that for ALL random threads, instead of having just one thread (because that would take forever to load) or a new thread every 300-odd posts, there would be new threads SPORADICALLY.
spo·rad·ic –adjective : appearing or happening at irregular intervals in time
215 – Good idea! That would make the random threads even more random!
I’ll amend that. I’m not liberal. I am not political in any way whatsoever. I suppose if I was I might be liberal over anything else, but I don’t agree with the dictionary definition. “Goodness of humanity”? Pfffff. I’m just a cat. As long as I can lay in the sunshine I don’t care one whit about politics.

219- I’m being metaphorical. I am exceedingly catlike, except for my fondness of water. If I had a daemon it would be a cat. (Read The Golden Compass right now if you don’t know what I’m talking about!) What do you mean, ferality? and goodness towards it? Oh, I see. Goodness towards is different than goodness of. Goodness towards humanity (and ferality), sure! Goodness of? Not humanity, that’s for sure. Ferality isn’t really good, any more than it is bad. It isn’t really a word, either.
221- Books and Reading.
220- In the past, i’ve tried to start in on series’s such as Naruto and DBZ very late, only to find that they don’t make any sense. Only read it if you don’t care about comprehension.
Dark hair? yup
Loves to read? yup
Liberal? yup
Chocolate? yup
Douglas Adams? Eh, he’s okay but it gets a bit annoying sometimes.
Good writer? yup
218 – Notice from the rest of us:
We freaking do not care. Deal with it. And you’re not our boss anyway.
yes I am in a bad mood today. Yes I am unfairly taking it out on others. Yes I am acting like I’m about five years old. Do I care? No.
This would work…
222/214- You are most certianly a good writer!
If a had a daemon I’m unsure of what it would be. I’d have to know a lot more about the way people view me to give an accurate guess. Did you know it’s going to be made into a movie!
I’m not sure what this is. But heck, I’ll do it.
Dark hair? In the winter it’s darker, but it’s a reddish color.
Loves to read? Definitely
Liberal? Yep
Chocolate? Yes, please!
Douglas Adams? Yep
Good writer? Yep
227- I know! I’m kind of nervous . . . But it’ll be fine. (I hope.)
NOTICE FROM THE POPOPO
The rule stated in comment 218 will be strictly enforced.
THE POPOPO
NOTICE FROM THE POPOPO
Here’s a link to the polling place thread.
THE POPOPO
233-Not since I came, so I wouldn’t know. Besides, I think it’s better to put them all in one place. All of those comments are answering one comment, and are, therefore, “systematic”, not random. Just a thought!
Dark hair? Yep
Loves to read? DUH.
Liberal? Yes
Chocolate? Give me more!
Douglas Adams? *nods*
Good writer? Yes indeedy.
If I had a dæmon, it would probably be a baby panda. Or a lynx.
HIS DARK MATERIALS PWNZ TO NO END!!!
If you haven’t read HDM, you are doomed to suffer for eternity in the Pit of Despair.
That wasn’t even questions, just observations that people compared themselves to!
239-Thanks! My hair is also a golden brown color and like Alice I really am not into politics.
Dark hair?
