well, I think my one just needs to be finshed, and given tender love and care.
okay, okay, It needs to be a lot better, but I am puttung it down intill spring.
sometime soon I will start spectrum, which is about a kid who falls into the inner working of a book, and has to save the day in the genre spectrum. it has the answer to the question of the mini-muse (or mega muse, if you think of it that way). it is going to be great.
My only question now is – what am I going to do all afternoon?
(First post?)
I guess I’ll just edit.
Mine conclusively answers the question of how HPBs came to be (Actually, the correct name is aichpibi, plural aichpibin, but that’s another story which one can find on the MuseBlog NaNoNovels thread). How they got into the Musiverse is yet another story which I have never heard.
2- Go to RRR SMAS-TT!!!
3- you need that on the hpb info theard.
With all my non-NaNo-ing free time, I have several things in mind. I am going to work on the RRR SMAS-TT, work on two special secret Muse projects I’m doing, work on the video footage from our trip to Mexico and the Pumpkin Drop, and get some serious research done for my long-term project that I’m doing (with Philosophical.bunny, who has posted a few times) about recycling. That project needs a lot of work, it was seriously neglected during November.
I will also be able to post on MuseBlog, and not feel guilty about it!
I feel strangely lost without my NaNoWriMo deadline. I guess I’m going to edit and continue my story. Just as an incentive I’ll make myself go 1K a day.
I have a friend who tried to do NaNoWriMo; sadly, she ended up with about 800 unpromising words. Basically, her problem is that we have a 49-hr school week, not counting sports games.
29,475.
Oh god.
8- what does that mean?
here is a little calander I am making up for museblog writing. most I have just made up:
january:-rest-

april: script frenzy*
may: script frenzy edit
june:-rest-
july: museblog fanfic writing month**
august: museblog fanfic edit month**
september: -rest-
october: NaNoBraSto

* are real, outside of museblog advents
** any fanfic, not just museblog.
5- How’s the next MuseCast going?
I think I go under the “Wreckage” column.
10- Script Frenzy is June.
12-April, they changed it.
35,069. Crap. But I finished, so yay.
13- *shrill voice* They did what! April’s the school year!
NaNoEdMo is in March, I believe.
I actually wrote last night, untill midnight. Not for my wordcount, but I don’t think I can fall asleep without writting now. Sounds like a good habit to me though Also added about a paragraph on the 1 1/2 hour drive to wisconson. I was actually porcrastinating and staring out the window and not feeling guilty O.o Weeeird.
I feel unfulfilled without something to write about. At least I have my RRRs.
15-Okay let’s gather an angry mom and go murder Chirs Batey.
Oh, sorry about that. I meant angry mob .
*laughs hysterically* and combined.
20- oh, I don’t know. an angry MOM could kill
” how dare you move the script freazy to the school year! NaNo is bad enough” LOL
Well, my angry mom could kill. I know that for a fact.
21- True that.
Alice (11): I’m going to start editing the new MC next weekend, or some day this week when I don’t have truck-loads of homework. I have all the audio, I just need to put it all together. THF and I didn’t do one in November because we had NaNo to worry about.
My NaNa stunk. I think I may have broken 2000 words. I think I will have my own in the summer when I actually have time to do something other than homework.
15- For me, so is June, and June is when I have all my regents and finals testing too.
I have to write more.
So, what’s NaNoEdMo? I though we edited whenever.
Yeah, if you don’t know who this is you fail at life, almost as much as I failed at NaNo.
10978 words of total and utter crap. I forgot to update my wordcount on the site, though, so it looks like I only have 2ksomething. And I didn’t even get to write Ttare who is the hottest character I have ever come up with ever. If I hadn’t made him up I’d totally do a bunch of not very PG things to him. Mm.
The sad part is that I probably wrote close to 50k total in November, but most of it was schoolwork so it didn’t count. Next year I’m writing a novel set at a boarding school where the main character is assigned far too many papers. And I’m going to include every single paper and college application in the text of the story and see how far I get. I bet I’ll win.
27-good plan.
Without Nanowrimo I can actually work on my homework and actually study for tests. My Nano stinks. At least ten thousands words are the words ‘toy boat’ over and over again. It worked though. My vampires were uninvicible to toungue twisting.
27- I thought you were dead, Penty. lol, haven’t seen you in a while. I actually seriously considered the theory of your death for a while.
OMG
My sunday school teacher is a professional novel editor. FTW. And he’ll context and line-edit my NaNovel! triplew00t!!
Haha free editing chuss.
31-Lucky. D=
27- You live! *pies* But you still wrote, which is the point.
31- *envy*
Totally forgot what I was going to say.
Nevermind I remembered.
The Chicago Tribune had an article about a high school that did Nano! But the Young Writers program. It was cool. I wish our school would do it…
I don’t know what to do with myself.
31-sweet! i threatened hemmel with the task of editing mine but i don’t think i’ll actually make him do it. he said he’s been sent novels to edit before that were actually published though.
31-My Mom’s a professional transcriptionest/editor. So there. *sticks out tounge* Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck!
I think I’ll send mine in now, and send the rest in when I finish it. Which may be never. So good luck with that!
36-i dabble a bit in the transcribing business myself (well, just with my mom’s stuff actually…)
i’ve decided i’m going to write now. because i still have a story to finish. and what’s more, until it’s finished, i’m going to stick with 1667 a day (or try to). It’s reasonable, and it gets things done. so there, world (and homework)
Kiki (31): Cool!
Beavo (36): Really? That’s awesome!
I’m kind of obsessed with editing…I’m not sure when I began to like it so much. I loved copy-editing in middle school, and then at the end of 8th grade and the beginning of last year I started to get really good at regular editing, in addition to copy-editing, and I sort of fell in love with it. So now I’m the co-editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, and get to do it all the time! Which is really fun
I don’t particularly like editing my own work, though. I don’t mind it, but it’s way more fun editing other people’s work. It’s also much easier.
If I’m insane enough next year, I might have to do NaNo. But I probably said that last year…:/
I’m planning on doing NaNo next year, as long as homework isn’t too insane…If I had a laptop, things might be easier….
I’m not even going to look at mine.
37-I think I’m a better editor than her; she was looking over one of her previous transcription and I noticed a period that was supposed to be a comma. I pointed it out, and she still didn’t see it, so had to literally fix it myself with her mouse. And she was like “OOOOHHHH! I see it now…” Hickabickaduh.
I enjoy editing other’s work as well. But mine is so attrocious I never even try to edit it and hand it over to Mom (who takes editing her son’s work as a responsibility, not a favor).
Yes, I am so spoiled.
Well, okay, not that much. I don’t have a cell phone or iPod or computor or laptop or big screen TV *goes on for hours about stuff that he dosn’t have*
36- Well, mine’s a… um… CEO of a nonprofit that works to reduce pesticide use in Illinois.
Oooh. I’m gonna need some ice fo dat burrrnnn.
Really, it is kinda hot in here. I must be on fia!
*runs away laughing hysterically*
I will ENTER next year. I will!!! And it will be humorous. Something about a writer writing about a writer. And their lives begin to collide with each other’s and mine. Also, other stories written by all three authors (including me) will begin to overlap each other. Or something.
That sounds like an interesting idea. Kind of like a whole bunch of confusing cue breaks in first person except with three first persons?
Perhaps. It’s just a vague idea. I might go with humorous sci-fi instead.
I sent myne to an editor! WOOT so happie!
Oooh, and EDITOR! *oohs and ahhs*
yaynessssssssss
I am typing up what I have written right now… probably about 700 words more or so. Mine would require finishing, endless self-editing, sending it to someone like Purple Panda and bribing her to edit it, revising, rewriting, and more editing before I could think about sending it out.
I LOVE Editing! No bribery necessary
But because we’re amazingly nice people, we’ll hand over a year’s worth of Choklit Pie. *pies with Choklit Pie*
Did someone say edit?
*siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* I want to finish a novel…Mostly so I can edit…
love love LOVE wirting
I finishhed the story. Now I’m on editing and re writing. *Needs to go clean her room.* *Decides to go and read some one else’s novel instead.*
I finally finished mine too, and I’m doing the kind of editing that is removing parts I don’t want people to read and making sentences work just a little better.
I’m doing JaNoWriMo in January, against a boy in my class. I’m not really trying for 50 K, just to beat him. My friends think that he has no chance.
JANOWRIMO? WHAT?
58- January Novel Writing Month.
59- There’s JulNoWriMo too. (July Novel Writing Month, which actually doesn’t sound too good…. ) I might do that one. It’d work pretty well, since I won’t have any school. I might have kayaking, if I’m really lucky.
I, strangely, cannot wait for next year’s NaNo.
The Fourhenge Quartet will probably be complete in 2010.
Whoa. I haven’t been on here forever.
I’d do any WriMos. Any of them. All of them.
My novel won’t be finished.
63- A pity, because I was the major villain. Funfun.
64-It wasn’t really you, it was just stealing your name because it sounds all villainy and latin.
October is almost here, GAPAs, time for a new NaNoBraSto! I can’t wait, I’ve got so many ideas…
I am going to do NaNoWriMo this year!
What will I write about?
*Thinks*
*Plots*
*Schemes*
*Cackles*
I still haven’t decided whether I want to do NaNo or not. I have absolutely no ideas for it, and, if it turns out anything like my last one, it will be awful either way. Plus, I’m probably going to be fairly busy.
-sigh-
