Speak, Friend, and Enter! If you’re new to the blog, come on in for a little orientation and some pie.
Please read The Rules. You might also glance at The HG2MB (Hitchhiker’s Guide to MuseBlog), which contains helpful hints regarding local customs, lingo, and other peculiarities of the blog; smiley information included.
hope you like pie!
*pie*
Yep! *creates a special, secret-recipe pie to throw at the first newcomer to venture onto this thread*
Happy New Year, newbies! *firecracker pie* Welcome to MuseBlog! I think three posts is enough posts for simple pies. Down to business.
First, read all the pages posted on post #0 (or the one at the very, very top under the big green title).
Please, please don’t post “I LIKE CUCUMBERS” on every thread. Or on any thread that isn’t designated for liking cucumbers. Stay on topic, maybe read the few posts before yours until you know what’s happening.
dnt spk lke ths. ths is not a chtroom. it is not myspace. it is not aim. We speak like people here, not computors.
That’s enough for one post, methinks.
3-Correction: computers speak well. We speak like people here. Not like baboons.
I LIKE CUCU-SPLAT!!!-MBE-SPLAT!!!-RS *ducks from a thousand incoming Times Square Crystal Ball pies of 2008*

Hello Muse-Bloggers! I’m new here, so I humble myself before you, and the mighty GAPAS( yes, I have read the rules and the hitchhiker’s guide. Rest assured, I haven’t done any real hitchhiking, but if I had I would let you all know.
) If you must fire pies at me you must*giggles because she enjoys this particular pastime*, but be warned that I have a pie-cannon in the backseat of my Ferrari. Anyways, I’m real excited to be here. See ya around the blog!
Sincerely, MJ (or Mellow Jellow, whichever)

why on earth does this thimg have spellcheck?!?!?!?!?!?!
And why doesn’t it know the word “spellcheck” ?
I’m NerdAndProudOf It, because im a nerd, and, despite peer pressure, I’m proud of it!
“Mudblood, and proud of it!”
Hermione, 7th book.
Like that.
Only she shouldn’t have gone nearly hysterical when she says that.
And please don’t ignore my posts just because I’m a nerd.
17- Why would we ignore your posts? We’re nerds too.
17-Like PC said, we’re all nerds here. Well, most of us. *smites un-nerdlike*
*see that beavo is smites un-nerdlike*
*wonders why he is strike with a firm blow un-nerdlike*
12 – Ok, you should know that this place isn’t a chatroom. We still welcome you, (speaking of which; *pies*) but guess what, ya gotta follow the rules. Believe me, it’s for the best.
Sorry I’m late. Looks like I have pie-ing to do. *pies MJ, FB, moretrees, NAPOI, and eragon/aragorn/etc.* *pies everyone else on this thread for that matter*
*Greets newbies*
*Pies all newbies. And non-newbies too, lets do the job completely.*
*Wanders off*
*tries to impress newbies with HTML*i swear . . I’ve gotten like 3 billion pies so far. Please tell me it ends once I’m not a “newbie” anymore!!!! OW!! (I’ve just been hit by another one!!!!! . . see wht I mean?)
it will. but you will first have to learn the way of the museblog, young padiwan.
I have been watching to much star wars.
25- The best way to avoid getting pied (why would you want to do that?) is first to stop coming on this thread and second um… stop coming to museblog?(why would you want to do that?)
26- There is no such thing as too much Star Wars!
Will you put the Welcome, Newcomers poem up again? I liked it
Welcome, everyone! ::pies::
Also, you’ll have to get used to the pies. They are frequent flyers here on MuseBlog.
19- WHAT?!?!?!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*pies newbies* =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|}
I just posted a big long thing on the random thread. Go read it.
Welcome, have fun, be good, rever the GAPAs and older MBers.
Have some more pie, too while we’re at it!
yes, do post the poem!
Mellon, Robert, Mellon.
(29, 32) You mean the poem from the December 2007 “Welcome, Newcomers!” thread? It’s easy to find, but very well:
Bedazzled, bemused,
Then this is the place you should visit.
Just bring us your questions,
And heed our suggestions.
There! That isn’t scary, now is it?
If you feel quite at ease,
Come in anyway, please.
The reception you get might surprise you
As each blogger, completing
Our time-honored greeting,
Cries, “Hail, fellow Muser!” and pies you.
25 – Aha! *pies again*
26 – Yes, her eyes are obviously decieving her if she thinks that she’ll always be on the receiving end of a pie attack.
AHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have found a way to avoid being pied! HA! I will just simply refuse to let myself be hit by a pie. So stop pying me. Why??? One,because I said so and two, because I’m asking nicely. Oh and you may all shoot me for saying this . . but I’ve niver seen a single Star Wars video. Or read a single book . . wait, do they even have Star Wars books????
*sputters* But- but- pie is… *stumbles* pie is our way of… life… without pie, you have…nothing… *passes out*
“Quick! Pie him! He’s suffering from sweet gooey withdrawl!”
*pies*
Wow, newbies already!!! Welcome!!!! *pies all newbies* Good to see you! [}~ [}~
35: Don’t worry. I haven’t seen any either. I hear they’re quite good, though.
I suppose that pying is just some strange Muse ritual. Fine,I’ll relax and let the pying begin (if you can’t beat ’em . . join ’em). SPLAT!!!! Whoa. Oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was kind of a hard hit . . yet strangely satisfying! PIES!! I LOVE PIES! quick someone hit me again . .
38- *flings, casts, chucks, hurls, projects, and otherwise throws pies at Eloise*
38- Pieing. *spellchecker frenzy*
38-*is revived* Thank gosh! I thought she might have been ill or something! No pies… OHTHEHORROR *passes out again*
*pies Beavo with her rapid-fire pie cannon*
28- there is when you are not seeing the movie, but instead listening to the commentary so that in ten years you can have a hit movie.
38- do you read muse?
Whoa, lots of people to respond to okay here I go.
39-thanks for the pies but my name is not “Eloise” it’s Eloise the MARVELOUS. MARVELOUS.
40-sorry I’ll spell it right next time
41-No,I’m not ill . . . or at least not now that I’ve come to love the whole pie thing
43-YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or why would i be on here???? i love muse but i’ve just never been pied before. Well now i have . .
how come all the other newbies were able to adapt so quickly???????????????
44- It’s a satisfying experience to pie other people. *pies everyone on this thread for good measure*
Welcome to MuseBlog Eloise the MARVELOUS! I’m Cat’s Meow/Cat/Meow/CM. ^_^
I think we’re getting so many newbies this month because of the link that was in Muse. (Yay, I
Oops. That cut off.
I was trying to say (Yay, I love Muse even more now!)
48-Hello CM!! Nice to meet you. I present you with a golden pie of honor for being so welcoming and calling me by my proper name. Thank you (says sacred ritual for the golden pie of honor). SPLAT.
49- you can’t be to picky. do you mind If I call you ETM?
All hail Teh Elamzor.
Hi, I was told that this is for world domination. I believe that I should prove quite useful to you.
Hi, Qwyzm! Join the Kokonspiracy! *pies*
Kokonspiracy means?
53- The Kokonspiracy, our code name for our world domination plan.
Technically, the plan’s code name is “Mostly Harmless.” The Kokonspiracy refers collectively to the people developing it and carrying it out. Or maybe it refers abstractly to the fact of their existence. At least, I think so. I may be wrong.
HI EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m new here! I have no idea what I’m doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I’m excited!!!!!!!!!!
*pies all newbies*
56~ Hi, welcome! Have some pie, *pies* =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|}
You seem very enthusiastic, that’s good. We can use you for Mostly Harmless, described above. We like having newbies to corrupt into our Muserly way, and fortunately the newbies are often very excited to help and vollunteer willingly. Unless Midnight Fiddler scares them off first, which seems to happen now and then.
So, here’s a pie for you, *hands pie over* be good, have fun and enjoy MuseBlog.
58- You don’t seem like a scary person to me!
I don’t know where I should start posting!
Let’s try the Hot Soup thread!
35- Quick! listen to wierd Al’s “the Sags Begins”!!!!!!!!!!!
60-huh?
sorry for like wasting space and doing 2 posts in a row. i would have put this in my last post but i forgot. sorry. anyway
50-sure why not? hey actually thats a good idea . . . (puts hands to mouth and begins to shout rawther loudly) HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN CALL ME ETM IF YOU WANT INSTEAD OF ELOISE THE MARVELOUS SINCE ITS KINDA LONG. just FYI. hope that got eveyone’s attention.
Anyway, everyone,I have a question. I mean like since i’m new and all . . . . . . okay can we still post on threads that are from a previous month? If so, does anybody do that or would it just be pointless to since nobody would see it if nobody does that?
i luv koko and muse!
hi everyone!
62-I’ll call you ETM or Eloise. I’ll decide after a little while which one I feel like
It’s okay if you post on threads that were created in previous months, like RRRs and such, but if you’re talking about the monthly random threads and such, then it probably wouldn’t be that good of an idea. However, if on (for example) on the December random thread they were talking about potatoes and it was January now and you wanted to talk about potatoes, even though everyone else was talking about celery, you could say something like “Hey, you know how last month we were talking about potatoes? I think potatoes are awesome.”
Or something like that. Sorry if this is a really bad explanation. o.o
62- May I call you Eloise?
Your comment is awaiting moderation
58- (Midnight Fiddler) Now everyone, I can truly tell you she is not scary. However, HAWK is someone you hope to never have to be near
Not really. But I think everyone likes to imagine they are a bit scary and powerful
But Musers cannot be scary to other musers, but maybe to newbies *pies all newbies he can find*
Red-tailed HAWK

ahem. i am a newbie and i DONOTDONOTDONOT want to get pied. (sticks out tounge)
67- Uh oh, this calls for the heavy duty pies. *takes out key lime spike pie* *gets ready to throw* *unless someone stops him/her*
_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\_
\____:twisted:____/
67-Too bad. -pies you anyways- ^_^
I’m late, I’m late!
I’ve missed so many newbies! *piepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepiepie*
That should cover most of them.
They put the URL in the mail section for January so I guess that’s why there’s a flood of newbies.
It looks to me like most of the newbies who know how to type in English haven’t moved off this thread much…or maybe my attention just isn’t drawn to them on other threads.
Please use proper English on the boards! My mother has already pushed me to my explosion quota this month. Never start sentences with “like”. Don’t write the way valley girls talk.
Hello n00byz.
62- * hits with marvelous cherry pie*
63- *was going to say Jesus pie, but then realized how wrong that sounded*
Oh yeah, for those of you interested, i found a Muse in my room from like, 2003 that includes a letter from one Grant O. from ohio. I didnt realize it until now. thats Grant o. the magical wonderful ultimate supreme chairman or whatever!
Also, in the Microbe-common cold edition (the one with the Toshiro Mifune and swordfighting) Craaw refers to Pwt as He! Pwt is a boy!
Welcome to museblog, ETM and Koko for Jesus, but please dont post anything like “OMGZZ! I TOTELY LIKE LOVE CUCUMBERS THEY ARE TEH PWN POST IF YOU AGREE”
I have come up with another word for “newbie.”
Neophyte
Neophyte is defined by the New Collegiate American Heritage Dictionary as “a recent convert” and “a beginner; novice…” Both of those describe newcomers to MB pretty well.
I like the new name for “newbie”. Neophyte sounds much more sophisticated. I actually am a neophyte, and I have not had a chance to read HG2G. I get the basic concept, but if anybody has any information on the topic, it would be awesome if somebody could explain it.
Do you hate double posting? I am trying to get the hang of chat rooms. This is my first one. *throws 1,000,000,000 pies on everybody to celebrate being alive and the great plot of Mostly Harmless*
74~ If you’re looking for a chat room, you ain’t gonna find it here. [Pardon the grammer.] This is really more of a forum. Each post is read over and checked by the Great And Powerful Administrators (GAPAs) tey do this to make sure all of us are safe, and not giving out too much personal information.
And double posting is usually avoided, although at some point or another we all do it. Generally though, stick to one post at a time, it’s a lot easier to read.
Have some pie! =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|}
74- A word of advice: Don’t call MB a chatroom. “This is not a chatroom” is the New Dead Phrase. On the Blog you say things of substance and use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, &c. So yeah.
But anyways, having lectured you, (it was a purely informative lecture; no disapproval enclosed) I will now proceed to shower thee with pastries of the finest doughe.
74- Unpronounceable Name the Mental Savant Subscribing to the Philosophy of Serendipity (Qwyzm the luckist genius), welcome! This is not technically a chat room. Our comments take longer to get through due to the Administrators moderating them, and therefore we try to use grammatically correct and somewhat substantial comments. You’re doing great so far! *pies*
(72) Does that mean that instead of “n00bs,” people will call them “neops”?
I dunno. I do like neophyte though. It sounds so elite.
78- More like “phyties.”
Better be nice to them. They might phyte back.
“neophs” would probably be better, since the p and the h are one sound.
personally, i like “phytes” Imagine if you were to say that instead of noob. “hey phyte!” “really? where?” “no, you” “i’m not fighting…” “not fight, phyte” “what?”
ah, the possibilities…
From now on, newbies are to be known as phytes, or neophytes.
*makes mental note to remember this and not disgrace herself by forgetting*
They should be bloggerphytes.
But I’m good with neophytes. Even though I’m going to forget…
¤pies¤
!!!!!
The next thread can be called “Welcome, Neophytes!”
Good idea!
88-I second that!
89-Nevermind, I third that.
73, 74 – You seem to fit in pretty well. This is not a chatroom for many reasons, but I think that you know what this is and were in need of a better name for it. We dislike double posting, because it is so much more concise to just say everything in one post. And I assume that my pronunciation of your name as kwi-zum is correct, but please correct me if it isn’t.
I like the term neophyte!
Eek! So many
newbiesphyties!! Welcome to ETM, Qwyzm, gecko, Quantum, and everyone else I probably missed!!*piespies*Ooh. I’m off by a couple hundred n00bies. Grumph.
Well, being the slacker that I am, I’m just going to haul out fifteen million deep dish whipped cream pies and hope they find all the new MuseBloggers that I missed.
Welcome, all!
AH! What happened? This thread is no longer at the top of the first page! *world crumbles* *panics*
Sometimes these threads come unstuck and slide down the blog. I don’t know what they think they’re doing. Upsy-daisy, “Welcome, Neophytes”!
95-Didn’t we establish the Thread Romance theory a while back? Supposedly some threads are in love with each other and slide down the page until they find their partner. Others want to find the thread that they were born with, and slide down to find their long lost brothers and sisters.
What random thread was that on? I forget.
I understand how it happens, though, my WordPress pages are always deciding that they want to change their timestamps.
Hey newbies! Welcome to MB!
Welcome to MuseBlog!
Thus are the perils of posting on two sites every day…
Newbies:
Please be aware that not everyone on this blog will agree with you. respect others. They’lkl respect you back.
budhumph budhumph budhumph, !!!!!!!!!! BUNNY!

I still have to figure out how to make feet for him…….
AND TO MAKE HIM PINK!
100- *pies beatlesrockr*. Oh yeah, btw, you can make hot pink bunnies like this
You type idea but with colons at the begining and end of the word.
98-Ha! I post on 3 every day. Usually all at the same time.
100-

Alas, I can do nothing to make him pink
[Good thing a gnome happened to be in the gneighborhood.]
102- I used to do that… until it began driving me just a little bit insane. At which point I quit most of them… though that does not guarantee I’m completely sane now…
hey, i’m new to this site. What is this particular thread about?
104- It’s about greeting people like you. Welcome!
*pies*
104- pieing neophytes! *pies*
103- Gno way!
hi! I’m new here. is this thread about anything other than greeting people? If not, it’s cool, i’ll stay anyway.
104- Welcome, Noble Knight Who Goes By The Estimable First Name Of Tobias And Whose Surname Denotes An Expulsion Of Digestive Gases Via The Oral Orifice. *pies*
Actually, Sir Toby Belch was a character from Shakespeare’s Twelth Night, one of my favorites. (sorry for intruducing myself twice…( face turns red)). And yes, he did belch alot.
I hope i didn’t scare anyone away…
111- None of the veterans. And any neophyte worth ens salt wouldn’t be scared off by a Shakespeare reference. In fact, judging from what I know of the people who generally turn up here, en would be positively encouraged. Don’t worry.
*pies Sir Toby Belch*
Congratulations. You have now been pied by Death.
Because I had no pie for Death,
She gave a pie to me.
The custard cream ran coldly down
My physiognomy.
In a poetic mood tonight, Robert?
*Pies Sir Toby Belch* Welcome!
Hey! We need more gnomes to turn our posts pink!!! *campaigns for pink font option*
Red-tailed HAWK

One song parody, one Emily Dickinson parody — yes, Crraw is whispering incessantly to me tonight.
Welcoming committee? WHERE? HIDE!
Oh, wait. The welcoming committee’s me.
I see.
Welcome, newbies! I love newbies! They taste DELICIOUS!
108-This thread is about welcoming, and teaching the ways of MuseBlog to the new crop of
soon-to-be-brainwashedinnocent children.I love Twelfth Night! Welcome, Sir Toby! *pies*
Some are are born pied, some achieve piedness, and some have piedness thrust upon them.
Welcome, Sir Toby! ::pies:::
Hi neophytes! You are welcome., have some pie!
=[|} =[|} =[|} =[|}
Cool new name for new peoples. Where’s it from anyway?
Robert, that is totally Feste from act 4 part three! “Thus the wirlygig of time has its revenges,” AWSOME!!!!!
why did everyone pie me?
120- don’t you mean thrown upon them?
that is correct. Why didn’t I catch that…
125-It’s traditional to pie newcomers (neophytes?) to the blog.
120-Robert Coontz is one of the few people in the world who can write something that makes me laugh.
oh (narrowly deflects a pie)… I see. Can I throw pies of my own? and an actuall translation…
Feste
Why, “some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrown upon them.” I was one, sir, in this interlude, one Sir Topas, sir; but that’s all one. “By the Lord, fool, I am not mad!” But do you remember, “Madam, why laugh you at such a barren rascal? An you smil not, he’s gagged”? And thus the whirligig of tim brings in his revenges.
ACT V part 3
and of course, what Feste is refering to is when they bound Malvolio, put him in a dark room, and Feste came in dressed as Sir Topas (Topas supposedly prevented you from becoming crazy) and tells Malvolio he is crazy.
Yes! There’s always pie war thread active somewhere on the blog. (Where is it? I’ve been offline for awhile)
129- You can certainly throw pies of your own! You have run the gauntlet of the Neophytes thread, and neither faltered nor got weirded out; thus you are now a full-fledged MBer.
130- https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1127#comment-174773
*pies*
(126, 129) Feste says “thrown upon them” in the last scene of the play. But in two earlier scenes, when Malvolio reads and then quotes the letter he believes Olivia left for him, he says “thrust upon them.”
Where pieing is concerned, either reading would make sense. Kokopelli throws his pies, but lesser practitioners of the art might need the greater control that thrusting affords. That’s what Rosanne and I decided when we pied each other at the Kokonvention.
What’s pink, icy, and dangerous?
134- A hot pink bunny in Antarctica.
Thats right, but we all hated Malvolio, didn’t we? I played Sir Toby in a performance of Twevth Night (hence the name Sir Toby), and I loved the garden scene. “Will this fool yet live?” And am I really a full fleged MBer?!?!?!?! Sweet! Warning though, I will constantly talk about Shakespeare (unless the thread is a different topic and we haven’t wandered off.)
136 – Hey, I don’t mind, at least. Shakespeare’s awesome!
*pies*
Welcome neophytes!
Please read the rules!
There seem to have been many puns on this thread that I didn’t gno about.
Hey, i have a good vocab site. [/a freerice.com a\]
hey no green link!! what happend??
136- I know a guy who played Feste.
I’d love to play Malvolio.
ooh, Shakespeare. I have a lot to learn, but I am willing. I’ve not read that many of his plays/ seen that many (and none onstage sadly) but I’m willing to view/read much more!
134-A HPB shaped popsicle.
welcome!
Hey, I’m a neophyte who’s been lurking on this site for a while…finally decided to post when I saw the awesome pie-parodies of poems (pietry?). Good Sir Toby, I played Feste in Twelfth Night. piepiepiepiepiepiepiepies for all of you
is it just me, or have there been an unusually large amount of new people on the blog? i see posts from those whome i have never met before. being…well, old for the blog (i think a year and a half or two years), i am surprised! hello all you neophites!!!!!!!!!!!! welvome, and have fun! (just don’t be a spoilsport for anything, cause then people cry, and then maybe pie you). i recomend the Music, books and reading, and sports threads!
246-Pietry. I love that word! Welcome, Feste! -pies-
146- Greetings! *pies*
148-Oops, I meant 146.
147-I thinks it’s because there was a link to MB in the latest issue of Muse.
For my part, I recommend nearly every Writing/Roleplaying/RRR thread out there.
146- Hi, Feste! Welcome to MB! *piepiepie*
Welcome neophytes!
Be good, listen to the other MuseBloggers, respect the GAPAs, etc. Most of all, have fun, we like having you here. Be warned though, Musers are a tight bunch. They are welcoming, and once you’re one of us, you stay that way. It’s a good group though, and pretty soon you’ll not be able to remember a time when you weren’t on MB. So here, have some pie.
={|} =[|} =[|} ={|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|}
Hey, funny thing, today I had the word neophyte in vocabulary…I just about died laughing.
153 – The world is full of cooincidences, huh?
hey im a n00b so can u help me here thx!
154- I wouldn’t say that so loud if i were you *pies*
154 – Sure! What do you need help with! (Oh, and just a word of advice – MuseBlog isn’t a chatroom, so if you can use correct spelling and grammar as much as possible, and stay away from u and thx and stuff like that, that would be awesome. ^_^)
*pies Mroverweight* Hail, fellow Muser!
Hello Newbies!
Please read the Guide and the Rules, use proper grammar and spelling as much as possible, and have fun!
Ahem! NEOPHYTES, if you please.
159-Oh yes sorry,
Hello Neophytes!
Please read the Guide and the Rules, use proper grammar and spelling as much as possible, and have fun!
sorry for being late, but HELLO FESTE!!!!! I did Twelfth Night with the Kingsmen Shakespeare company in Cal Lu. We had a great time. and since I am now a regular *ahem* hello newbies *pies everyone* read the guide and the rules!
*sighs*158Yes, spelling and grammar, please. MuseBlog is not a cell-phone! *pies anll
noobsneophytes. That is gonna take some getting used to.What is a neophyte?
I am a returning Muser, away for many months. Don’t pie me. I like PI more than PIE.
And Star Wars more than silly Star Trek.
So am I. Does this make us oldbies? Though I was only away for about threee months… no matter.
OH. I am a phytie who didn’t come to this thread early enough. Heh… So I guess maybe I’m not a phytie anymore? Or maybe I’m a phytie AND an oldbie. So that means… *confusion* Oh well. *pies self* That should cover it.
165- That didn’t quite cover it. *covers face with pies* =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|}
166: Oh no! Not the blank post!
Welcome, all neophytes! *old grandpa voice* I remember when I was new like you… all of a month ago… and we had to walk five miles in the waist-high snow uphill both ways just to post! But I can still throw pies! *pies*
Welcome, guys!
GAPAs, I have an idea… see, when i first came to the blog, i, being modest did not make a grand pronouncement- I AM NEW! CONGRATULATE ME!!!!!!!!! and just came into the conversation. no one realized i was new. ppl only figured it out when i told them. and all because the first thing newcomers see is the random thread. i think that the blog homepage should be this thread instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
um. question here. possibly more. i dont quite know yet. [please excuse the non-capitalization, i’m really really tired and you should be glad i’m even using punctuation and correct spelling.]
1. what’s the calendar thing in the upper right corner of all the pages for? i mean, besides telling what day it is. why are some things boxed specially and others not?
2. how do you email a GAPA to ask for a new topic? (i don’t need one, just for future reference)
3. is there any particular thing i should know about … um… updating in general? and telling when somebody’s responded to something i post/commented?
thanks a bunch!
~[}
171- 1) the calender thing is wordpress standard. like the e-mail boxes.
2) go to https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1165
3) if you post number is in the post, followed by – or a : (most people use : ) it’s a response most of the time.
anti-smily gnome?
171-
1. The ones that are green are clickable links that take you to all the threads made that day.
2. The GAPA email is gapa @ musefanpage.com (w/out the spaces), but you don’t need to email them to ask for a new topic. Just put it in your post!
3. The recent comments bar is a good way to tell if anyone’s posted since you, who, and where, but you probably already knew that.
Neophytes-Go to HG2MB (Hitchiker’s Guide to Museblog) for more help. Also see the Rules. Oh, and *pies*!
The Man for Aeiou and Alice: Thank you so much! That was very helpful. But, um…There’s a recent comments bar? I saw the most recent posts bar that’s on every page, but that’s the posts, not the comments… *confused*
OOOOOH! Sorry for the double post. I found the recent comments bar! Yay! Thanks you!
Welcome!
I’m here to remind and inform any newbies (and perhaps some of the older members here…) about the “Hot Topics” , “Religion”, “Evolution” Theads. They are here so that we may have intelegent discussions about subjects that generally tick people off. Always respect other peoples ideas, although that doesn’t mean agreeing with them! Know what you are talking about befor eyou post! Don’t post “I hate O’bamma” if you really don’t know why you hate him. as a general rule, be respectful and keep a calm head.
(Of course we’ve all had our arguements before, but WE ARE ALL MUSERS HERE!)
178- *pies*
hey, you’ve said the dread phrase!
179- Always the tone of surprise?!?!?!?!
180- what do you mena?
hi, im new here. is there a part of the blog where you can just talk or do you just leave comments on the pages
what does it mean that my comment is “awaiting moderation”?
182- That’s *how* you talk.
183- The Great and Powerful Administrators, or GAPAs, have to moderate each comment before other people can read it. If you read the HG2MB, it explains everything.
*pies*
183- Hi, koko’s apprentice! *pies* As Alice said, you should probably head over to the HG2MB (Hitchhikers Guide 2 MuseBlog, which is at the top of this page). Have fun here!
185- Hey, IBCF! No school?
186 – Let’s hope so. Or else I’m going to be rather bored today.
187- I’m here for another half-hour. Then I have to go to school. : P
188 – Aww.
189- They canceled it after all! *rejoices*
No school! Snow day!
*rejoices*
190 – Hooray! When did they cancel it?
192- Snow.
191 – Congratulations! Join the club!
192 – When, not why.
192- Oh. Right. Not sure. Sometime during the two-hour delay. We heard about it from the neighbors.
195 – Oh, nice. My family was checking this one website last night and this morning to see if our district was on the list of ones that was closing. An image of that website when our district appeared on it is currently our desktop background.
Hey guys, guess what. Today the word neophyte is -insert dictionary website here-‘s Word of the Day!
197- Yes, dictionary . com
I just checked. I’m just a little bit bored right now.
Hi, everybody! I am a newbie, so I figured this was a good place to start. So, er, yeah. Bye *pies*

199 – I’m Cat’s Meow/CM/Meow. Welcome to the blog! -pies-
Oh, and correction: you’re not a newbie, you’re a neophte.
Urgh, I can’t spell.
*neophyte
And sorry for the double post. Double posting is usually discouraged on MuseBlog. But being the typo klutz/queen of thinking of something else to say right after the post person I am, I usually do it every once in a while.
