Odd characters!!!! Here are the oddest people in my life, and why they are odd;
Mae; she’s very perverted, has a hilarious sense of humor, Manga/Naruto-obsessed, and dresses goth. My bffyl at school.
Nicole, or Nikki; she has a birth defect where she only has a thumb on her right hand, and yet she’s the most accomplished fighter in my school.
Bridgette; talks in an insanely squeaky voice, lives in the same appartment comlex as Mae, and says “WHOAH!!!!!” whenever she hears something perverted. Go Bridgette!
Genni; used to be homeschooled with me, adores chickens, and likes to rub scented oils on her legs while complaining how fat her calves are. Weird, but genni, i heart u!!!!!

Strange people…My entire school, (it’s practically a requirement that you be weird to get in) the dude who hangs out next to the dumpster at the local supermarket, and the soap-opera obsessed girls from the GED program that I have to share a dorm with.

11- *siiiiigh* I wish there was a school like that in my area. I could probably get in by wearing my ultimate outfit alone! (Team Edward t shirt with Sharpie doodles, hot red courdory (sp?) miniskirt, insane updo with Go! Go! Gryffindor! hairpiece, Riot! cd art wristbands, black and white checkered Keds with various white squares colored in with neon nail polish, done by Mae, and green and black stockings. 
I wore this to school once and I actually got asked if I was on crack. I said no, this was just the me the normal world never saw.)
So, my friend Olivia is sufficiently weird. She has 30-something sheep, a nutso 3 year old adopted sister, and a crush on basically every guy in the grade.

It was my goal to be the weirdest kid at school, but I think I failed on my first day. I’m weird in my own way, but I really can’t compare to some of the kids around here. Even my outfits aren’t really weird. Not like MissSwann’s, apparently.

My dance teacher is not so much weird as…quirky. She loves lanughing into tirades about her extended family and the motley things that have befallen its members since our last class. One of my funniest anecodtes regarding her is: three of the girls in our class (including myself) were in an MS play. She decided to come and watch. At the conclusion, she sent me a letter of congratulations, which was primarily devoted to a long list of reasons as to why she diliked large crowds.
I like her all the same (perhaps even more for it)!

12 – Awesome outfit! I wish I had a sense of style like that, but as weird as I am on the inside, I’ve never been motivated enough to develop an external reflection of that. I’ve toyed with the idea of going for a sort of Goth look, but I don’t know if I could pull it off.

My friends, (and I), are all exceedingly weird! We’re so weird, we warrant being spelled wyrd. Of course, that could just be because Bookworm spells “weird” “wierd”!

My friends and I are also completely weird.
I’ve actually been called normal exactly three times. (Which is a really large number all things considered. thankfully, I’ve been called strange, weird, insane, etc. far too many times to count)
One of the people who called me normal now refers to me as her dictator.
One of them called me so for talking about megaseconds and knowing my SI units (incidentally, we should all convert to metric time. Makes so much more sense. Each day is divided into 1000 units, each of which would be about 2/3 of a minute long) He was actually a rather strange guy my friend tried to set me up with. Needless to say, nothing ever came of it. (He called me normal!)
The third person is now my best friend.

throwing a ”small” party when you are fourteen years old solely for the purpose of getting completely fibbing drunk,
losing your virginity at thirteen,
smoking cigarettes, water pipe, and… um.. something that’s illegal in the US but isn’t in Denmark… and Holland….
whining constantly,
dressing like a punker, claiming to be a punker, but in reality liking pop,
having steady boyfriends whom you drop because they arn’t exciting enough
…..weird, then the award goes to…… NELLY! Yes, yes congratulations! Velbecommen, til lykke, let’s have a big round of aplause for one of the wierdest ”friends” I have!

My school probably wins at weirdness. It’s an arts school, so it’s also basically a requirement to be weird. Matching clothes don’t exist, half of the student population wears cat tails (as in, a tail pinned to their pants/shirt to look like a tail), ears, has multicolored hair, etc. It’s very strange…

I don’t know much about it, but I skimmed a page on it the other day and apparently its members want humans to refuse to breed so that the species will die out and make the world a better place for all the other creatures. I have kind of mixed view of Walmart. Their policies are bad, they treat their workers badly, and they pretty much destroy local businesses when they move into an area becuase of competition. But, I mean, I think that the new Walmart that has been put into our town has been good for it. I mean, our town is so small that we never had anywhere to buy basic clothes or anything really. To buy anything that wasn’t food, farming tools, or cheap drug store items, you had drive to Burlington, which was a long way away. Especially with gas prices now, its nice to be able buy things. Anyway, as far as local businesses go, most people in our town are loyal to local businesses so Walmart didn’t really effect it.

*sigh* I hate to think about that but I think that it’s true. I think the really bad thing about Walmart is that it has everything in it. This makes it so conveniant that other stores simply can’t compete with it. I think something should be done about this! Perhaps the government could start to support individual stores in an area instead of huge chains like Walmart.

100~ Because they sell cheap (r@p and push all the smaller business right out of existence. They’re taking over all the towns and cities and wreaking havoc on independent stores that actually sold good stuff, or at least were a bit more human friendly.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I find going into “Wally world” a very dehumanizing experience. It’s so unnatural, and not in a “down to earth” way– but it just seems like a sabotage on all sides. I’m always so glad to get out.
103~ Don’t shop there, try to keep them from building a store in your town (or a second or third one). Write to people in your town who can throw their weight around and who would agree with you. Make valid arguments against it. Ask your friends, family, and others to join you. Whatever you can, really.

It’s just one damn stupid idea started up by a certain political mindset encouraging the continued dumbing down of the American people.

Yoko Ono did not break up the beatles! The Beatles were together for a little more than 10 years which is a lot for a band. Eventually they would’ve had to break up. And a Paul lover is not an anti-Lennon person! You can love both, though I love George and John.

Paul McCartney is a great song writer, but he mostly wrote about love. The Beatles soon knew they had to step it up and start singing about other things. Examples are I am the Walrus, Tomorrow Never Knows, Taxman, Strawberry Fields Forever, and most of the Sgt.Pepper album. Which are the songs that came out in the later years. “Hey Jude” of course was awesome and I know that wasn’t about love, but about Julian.
So yeah, the best band ever.
Anybody ever heard “Hey Bulldog”? It’s like the last one all of them really out there hearts into, you know, before they started cracking. It came out in “The Yellow Submarine” album, right before the “Let it Be” and “Get Back” sessions. It’s awesome, these were great lines from the song,

You Don’t Mess with the Zohan. *shudder* Me and my merry troupe of friends had to leave the theatre halfway throught because Sarah claimed she was scarred for life. Truthfully, we all were. (We went to Barnes and Noble and poured over manga while nibbling on cheese pretzels!) The freaking COMMERCIALS were better than the actual movie. DON’T EVER SEE IT. DO NOT EVEN ASK FOR DETAILS. I love playing their songs on my guitar and my piano. I figured out “Ob-la-di Ob-la-dah” and “Here Comes the Sun” on the piano without the book, but I don’t know the whole thing. I have this huge book for Beatles music for beginner guitar, though now I’m on to a different book. My sister (twin) played the guitar before, so we like to play together, she’s lead and I’m second trust me, I like second much better, but I also sometimes like lead if it’s a favorite of mine. We’ve known each other for ages, since she was 8, when we were complete enemies, and then we somehow because best friends. (Although after calling her “muffy” I may just be endangering my friend status, who knows.) Anyway, one of the bands we both like is Gaelic Storm, and to be fair, we both adore Steve Twigger…..actually, I think we adore everyone in that band, but whatever. That’s what I was referring to, just so my last post doesn’t seem totally obnoxious.

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was probably meant to be about LSD, but it doesn’t really matter. The Beatles were using drugs, or so we think. Still, that doesn’t mean that their music is “bad”, or that they are “bad people”!

WOOT BEATLES!
Now here is a topic I can discuss! I’m listening right now…Day Tripper, Drive My Car…love them to death
My friend had been trying to get me to listen to them forever, but I never got into them, and then my other friend’s dad loaned my the number 1 album and the second 2 greatest hits disks, and I WAS HOOKED.
So…I admit I thought Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was about drugs, and the way they sang “eyes” really creeps me out, but it is still an awesome song. It’s actually quite peaceful and dreamy, and fun to imagine.
My favorites (how the heck would you pick just one?) are Michelle (such a gorgeous melody, so simple yet interesting), the Fool on the Hill (I love the instrumental with the flute/pipe), Lady Madonna (which I’m making a saxophone fanfare out of), Old Brown Shoe, I Am the Walrus, Across the Universe, Let it Be, Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da, Yesterday, Penny Lane, Come Together, I Feel Fine,

I like trying to figure out what all the lyrics mean, because it doesn’t really matter. The beauty is that they can be so meaningful to so many people in so many different ways. I also love how they use instruments so skillfully to complement the lyrics and the feel of the songs.
Incidentally, I like Panic at the Disco because the lyrics are cryptic in the same style as some Beatles lyrics…
