I did Talk-Like -A-Pirate Day last year in school… my LA teacher isn’t appreciative of things that are obviously hip and came really close to giving me lunch detention.
I also can’t wait until I can vote, and I think I’m going to hold off driving for a while and ride my bike. My schools about half a mile away and I really don’t need a car. Well maybe I will. But thinking ahead makes my head hurt.

It might help if you search google for the descriptions of the four types and read those descriptions and see what works best for you. When I took the test, it said ENFJ which definately isn’t me.

But now I’m BBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCKKKKKKKKKKKK!!! I had some trouble with my parentals, and was temporarily denied compy acess. But everything is OK now. I hope. So now I check up on all that has been happening while I was gone.
But I have had an interesting few days. And although I had many stressful experiences, the one that was by far the worst was getting my hair cut by my mom’s friend. She is a hairdresser, and for about an HOUR, she lectured me. She also seemed to know these details about my life. She Said my mom didn’t tell her these things. But she also knows some of my favorite teachers. I don’t know. But it was HORRIBLE!! She probablly enjoys the gossip more that actually cutting hair. I am premenantly DAMAGED!!! Maybe I will just let my hair grow out, forever and ever. Then I will have an excuse for not seeing her again…

You don’t have to stake your life on the test, it could be completely wrong. It’s only a theory.
47- Federal violation how? They have a union and they voted to strike. Anyway, I don’t know anything about all that, I learned today they’re giving us the first three days of school and then striking unless an agreement has been reached. I know they want ‘more respect’ and they believe their pay isn’t inflating as much as the cost of living, but all I know is from what I hear from my parents talking to other parents.

I JUST GOT BACK FROM MY FIRST HOME GAME EVER!!
It was mucho fun. We didn’t have to wear uniforms because they’re not all in yet, which was about the incredibly froody because it’s still %$#@ing hot and plus, buggy and humid. It was gross. There were flies all over my reed.
ANYWAY, we just all wore our band shirts, jeans and marching shoes. The show went pretty well over all. I didn’t screw up much, thank goodness, though there was a close call involving a very fast, very far backwards marching move and a tenor sax.
Jess and I sat next to eachother in the stands and joked around in between songs. It’s fun, because when ever drum line plays the cadence, the band gets up and dances. Some people don’t do it, but we did, and it was crazy.
Oh yeah, and the football team won.
58 (e~a)- I was thinking about my result more, and I read quite a few descriptions, and I think that I just have an extremely multifaceted personality. What I type and say isn’t always what I feel, because there’s absolutely no way to put that into words. And I can be nice and caring, it’s just very few people, even my closest friends, can bring that out in me reliably. Polite, yes. Nice, no. So, on second thought, the description may be right, or at least partially right. I’m really not sure, and I never seem to fit the mold of personality tests very well anyway.

So we had a football game last night at London (Ohio, not England) which is like 45 min away. So we ate at Cosi, and dad was really slow so i kept going like “dadhurryupthat’stwobitesrighttherescarfit!” and he was eating slowly so we didn’t get out of there until like 10 to 6 and there were these protesters outside w/signs like “Bexley Monk Tortures Animals!!!” and “The Reality Behind Foie Gras (sp?)!!!” and anyway we went to pick up sarah cuz i said we’d give her a ride and dad forgot about the construction on Cassady, so we didn’t get to the skool until like 6:10 and had 5 min to get instruments and put on uniforms+stuff (full uniforms, it wasn’t too hot out) but then when we got on the bus we kept having delays like the door wouldn’t shut, and danny clark forgot something, etc, etc so we didn’t leave until 6:30. Most of the way there was just me, danny, and eventually even david singing the badger song to annoy andy. that was fun. oh and banging on each other’s hats (they’re flat and make a good sound when you bang on them) so then we pwned halftime, the london band was contest so same story as canal really, amazing marching but not up to the music yet. Then we had gatorade and got really high on sugar and laffed at david yelling at the refs and dissing andy which led to giving him tips on how to get a girlfriend and asking dima what on earth he did to my calky and getting a completely unintelligable reply back, but at least now i know the password is 9, and telling matt he’s too tall, and smacking danny for playing all the time and being annoying, and laughing at jacob trying to look threatening. Then we won, went home, and slept. Fun times.

I’ve taken the test before, but I don’t remember my results. Sweet! Neil Young’s on SNL tonight. I’ve never seen him this old before. At least he doesn’t look like an ape anymore. Really, didn’t he look like an ape in the Buffalo Springfeild era?
I just took the test. I got an INFJ. But I don’t really like personality tests, because the answers aren’t open enough. They always seem to be guiding you into one of two directions, but often neither of them are ones I want to go. For example, there was one question
“You often prefer to read a book then go to a party”
If I answer yes, then it means I’m private, not very social, and booksie.
If I answer no, then it means I’m loquacious, action-loving, but not very intellectual.
But really, it’s neither, because while in general, I love books best, if I had a choice about which thing to do on a friday night, I’d choose the party. Not because I like parties better, but because I feel like there are better times to be reading and that I want to keep up some type of social life.
I read the description of INFJ, and while some parts suited me well, others seemed to be completely wrong.
I’m an upperclasswoman. It’s sad, though, because I know more freshies than people in any other grade.
I need to get on all of the new threads here. But I’ll be gone today for a while, too. Labor Day should be very okay, though. Yay, weekdaysoffofschool! I’ll have to do my HW then, though…Oh, well.

BRISBANE, Australia – Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and environmentalist known as the “Crocodile Hunter,” was killed Monday by a stingray during a diving expedition. He was 44.

Bastard of a stingray. In the short story “The Hildebrande Rarity,” by Ian Fleming, someone kills a stingray because “it looked so extraaordinarily evil.” They are evil.
I am seriously really depressed by this. He was just one of those people you thought couldn’t die. And now… The only good I see of this is taht he died doing what he loved. But that’s a small consolation.

The irony of it is because he was supposed to be filiming a documentary about the seas most dangerous animals or something, but it was called off due to weather. He got bored and went into the water anyway to film a bit for his daughter’s kids show and was killed there rather than in the documentary.
In Island of the Blue Dolphins, they talk about an animal. I think it’s a “something-devil”, but I’m not sure. Is that an octopus? It hints that that is it.

Let’s not blame the stingray, though. They’re pretty docile, usually, and the venom isn’t normally fatal if someone does get stung. Steve just got a bit too close, as he was always inlcined to do, the beastie felt threatened, and lashed out. Steve’s luck finally ran out, and the sting went straight through his heart. A strangely appropriate dramatic end to a man who lived life on the edge. RIP.

I spent Labor Day weekend at a place on Montreal Bay, which is basically one gigantic rock inhabited by a handful of ppl and a bunch of tourists. No relly, there were rocks EVERYWHERE – I didn’t see a single sandy beach while I was there; all the beaches were rocky. And SOME of the rocks were special – They had pictographs painted on them – We (My family was with a few other families) spent an entire afternoon looking at them! They were v cool.
My LB, his friend, and I spent a lot of time…erm…rock-climbing through the woods around the campground…Erm, yeah. We did a lot of crazy things…We
1. Biked off of these boulders, near a hydroelectric dam (Man, I’ve got more cuts / scabs / bug bites than the average five-year-old right now…). This was not my idea.
2. Slid off of boulders in the middle of the woods (The trees usually broke the fall, though…).
3. Kayaked over to a rock outcropping / wall / wvr-you-want-to-call-it and climbed it. Yeah, this was probably the most dangerous thing I did, at least. It was about a quarter mile away from the beach at the campground, so we decided to take the kayak over to it. Once we had docked the kayak there, we realized that there were no handholds near us; we would hav to swim over to another spot w/ some handholds in the rock. So I jumped in and swam for another spot nearby. This is Lake Superior I’m talking about. The water is v cold. And the rocks were slippery near the water, so it took me like, ten minutes to climb out. That was not fun. But once we made it to the top…there was this fishing boat…w/ these two ppl in it…They were staring at us…Oh, and then this plane flew overhead (The pilot works at the camp, I think), and it landed next to where we left the kayak…He was probably looking for us…so we were hiding out in the woods for awhile…throwing stuff at the airplane…Ha, what an adventure.
4. Climbed a waterfall!! It was so fun!! It was soooooo purty!! Hehe, sry.
LOL. So we had the kayak on the roof of the van, and some strap kept coming loose, and it would hit the van, so it sounded like someone was banging on the roof. It came loose right before we had to go through customs, but my fajer managed to fix it. Then we were heading for customs, and my LB was like “Hey, don’t forget to hide Pedro! Hide him under the kayak!” OK, I laugh at the oddest things, so of course I broke down laughing, and I didn’t stop until we were through customs. The customs lady gave me this relly strange look…The one strap on the roof kept coming loose, and every time it started banging the roof, we’d be like “Shut up, Pedro!!” LOL
FIRST DAY OF SENIOR-DOM TODAY!!

I got a Creative Zen Micro for my birthday. It has 934 songs on it, and 57 photos. It’s beautiful. It’s blue, and it has a grillion cords attached to it. I put them in felt coin purses and then sewed them to a longer felt strip that I hung on the wall. It has straps and a place for the player, so it can be a travel case.
Like a paper cup, I fly around…

I need to finish my Chem work againe. I just completed my Spanish. We had to write 2 paragrabs [12 sentences] about ourselves. I hate doing that. It’s just weird. So I wrote about how weird it was and how, “Cuando tengo mucho gusto, canto canciónes de los leñadores.” It’s probably wrong.

So today in journalism we pressed buttons. We got out the ITK buzzers for review, it was lots of fun. Andy and Jacob and I were on a team (btw, Tory’s being dramatic again-this time because Jacob dumped her/didn’t really cuz they weren’t technically going out but whatev. It’s utterly confuzzling and nobody cares anyway, but she’s making it into a really big deal and it kinda sucks. Sorry, just had to vent to ppl who wouldn’t know anything about it or ever tell anybody, cuz i don’t hate tory or anything, she just annoys me greatly sometimes. Anyhoo.) and we kept yelling at each other the whole time and assaulting the buzzer for about five minutes after some other team had pressed it…aah, it was good. Hyperness. To the extreme. And Dima is WAY too skilled. We told him to lay off the coffee, but he just laughed maniacally. They got like 27 points. Insane.

Hi sorry i havent been on for so long- my parents suprised me, by taking me to switzerland, skiing. while we were ther, i also worked more on my italian, even though i am fluent in it. this was all in preperation for next week as i am to start boarding school there. the school is lovely, and i highly recommemed doing boarding school in switzerland- it is amazing, and so are french boarding schools…

I just wanted to show my shock that muse mail wasn’t clogged with letters complaining about tiff&lan, i thought they were just printing it for the angy responses of us proud nerds?! by the way, does anyone know how long it takes them to print letters? Cause’ i sent one ages ago with a photo of me in isreal and i went through all that trouble to bring muse and they don’t print it?! What a rip. It is definiteley possible that Tiffany and Laney were JOKING. Think about it. If I was “cool” (which I’m DEFINITELEY NOT…) I wouldn’t endanger my “cool status” to send a letter to an “uncool” magazine. I think that they are (If we HAVE to label people) “nerds”, or at least close, who are poking fun at “popular people”, and poking fun (a little) at themselves, for pretending to be “popular”.
And, if I remember corectly, I think they signed their letter Not-So-Sincereley.
And I still think labeling people is NOT the nicest thing to do. Labels might make things easy to define, but labels are often wrong.
