Sorry to double post, (I think I did, but maybe someone posted in between, but either way, sorry) but I had to say one more thing. That one more thing is that I liked the other title for the thread (September Something-or-other) a lot. I actually don’t like this one as much.
Now I have to go back and read those few hundred posts that I missed while I was gone on the old monthly random thread.
They’re both so weird, i don’t really have a preference. Do what you like. I used to be home schooled. But my mom didn’t think she could teach at the high school level, so i have been forced into the public school system this year. I don’t mind going to school. I like some of my teachers, but i do mind the homework. School is taking over my life!

Today I asked 10 people to hug Bob. Eight of them hugged him, one of them slapped him (ouch!), and one of them carried on a five minute conversation with him. Because of her conversation, I’m now “going out” with Bob. Joy. I’ll break up with him tomorrow…

I decorated my folders today (They’re the type w/ plastic covering the outside; you can put pictures, etc underneath it). My lit folder has a regular HPB on one side, and “bunny op” (?) on the other side…My bio folder has a TOTORO (Yay for totoros!!) (sp?) on one side, and a regular HPB on the other side.
8- plus it would be too chaotic around here. Can you imagine how many new threads would pop up everyday? It’d be impossible to keep up with; it’s allready hard enough. And think of the work the GAPAs would have to do filtering everything. It’d be almost impossible. No, I think that it is good how it is and that there is a reason for it being the way it is. I don’t think that would be a good idea.

I do what people call “speed-reading,” but I don’t think it should really be called that, because speed-reading is when you are skimming the page, and reading 900wpm or more, but I read normally at 1200 words per minute, at the least.

Has anyone here ever read Chinese Cinderella? Smashing book, really. You get incredibly mad at Niang and Father (mostly Niang), and feel really terrible about Ye Ye.

Oh, I just got back from an amusement park. Forgot to write about that.
I had lots of ice cream.
But the best part was…..I ride-mooched on roller-coasters. Oh, yes.
How To Ride-Mooch:
1- Wait in line for the seat of your choice. For me, it’s the front.
2- Ride as you normally would. Note the position of the camera.
3- When the ride is over, wait casually at the side opposite from the queue as people start to fill in.
4- Find an empty seat. At least one will usually exist.
5- Make sure no one is sitting there [I forgot this step once, bad idea…but it worked out because I just got a different seat].
6- Introduce yourself and announce that you will take the empty seat. Ask politely if the person happens to be sitting in the seat nearest you.
7- Ride and make a cool pose for the picture.
8- Repeat steps 3-6 as many times as you like, or until workers seem annoyed. They usually don’t care.
Very fun. I rode one 5 times in a row. After that, I had a headache. But it was still very fun. And I encouraged others to ride-mooch. Oh, yes! Though you do get weird looks from the people you sit next to.

66-Of COURSE it is good! But do not be scared away by the first book, it is much slower than the rest. I read it when it first came out, and I thought it was boring, but my mom finally forced me to read the second, and I have read THAT one so many times that it has fallen apart into three pieces. Sometimes I carry one of them around so I can have something to read when I am bored.
The fifth one is the best, but until then, the fourth one was, then the second, then the first, then the third. Don’t read them in that order though. You’ll get confused.

76-Yes, a new Artemis Fowl book! It is great too! It just hit me that I am one of the first civilians to read this book in the US! (Meaning not one of the book store owners or something) Amazingly good, superb on all accounts. I would copy down the first paragraph, but as soon as my sister saw my face when I finished the book, she grabbed it out of my hands and started reading it. Too bad that she is four years younger than me, therefore a much slower reader. My mom is getting really mad, because my sister and I keep talking about the book!

I just finished HG2G. It was really good, but I was sort of expecting more from it, in a way. I mean, They didn’t really hitchhike, (at least not in this book) they just went to Magrathea. What do people have to say about the other books that I think are in the same series? The ones that Douglas Adams wrote, I mean.

No, the goddess Artemis was only female. Believe me. It says so. She does have a brother, though. But he isn’t as cool.

I am really hungry. Today for breakfast I had a cup of darjeeling tea. For lunch I had an apple. It is now 5:51 and ten minutes ago I had three blue corn chips. Those things are all I have had to eat all day. And I am not making this up.

Woohoo! I finally had a chance to do a little shopping today (at Sears…), and I got a pair of those neat footless leggings. I was a little disappointed though, b/c the only colors they had were gray and black – I wanted to get a neon-colored pair, wear them to skool, and just be like “Ha! I’ll NEVER conform!” I’ll hav to wear them w/ some novelty sox or something.

I managed, about two weeks later, to get unblocked, but that experience stayed with me. And now I have just done the same. Ha ha ha! AH HA HA HA HA HA!

no, i have a 9 year old brother who drives me insane. However, i live in an italian speaking community and speak fluent italian, and in case you didn’t know, in italian swearing is frequent and colorful. It’s used so frequently that swearing is pretty much robbed of any significance it might have.

Finally, I asked him about it, and he said:

So it is “Own” Colfer. I think.

i know a guys who cut themselves. and they do it for attention and because it’s stylish. I don’t take it lightly, and didn’t think i sounded like i did. Did I not make my case clear enough? cutting oneself is sufficiently tied to the ’emo’ style to make people do it just for fashion. I know them and I’ve seen them. I wasn’t ridiculing. What i find moronic are poeple who pretend to be depressed but have no reason to do so.

Anyway, emos aside, how’s everybody’s life going? I’ve got crew interviews tonight for Boys Next Door. Idk what we’re going to do, sarah doesn’t want to do costume and nobody wants to do prop but we’re not really special enough to do like lightings and things (as in we’d all fail miserably :D) Oh…and apparantely weisman tried out and was really bad…he wasn’t at skool today either, so i hope he’s not terribly depressed. Oh and it was cold! w00ty w00t! except i was kinda freezing cuz i didn’t have a sweatshirt or anything, and band is in the morning. We were doing the new marching for Luck Be A Lady and getting very worked up b/c we all failed and it was cold and we didn’t know our squad number. But we figured out that it’s 9, so go us. We have a game tomorrow cuz we have friday off. It’s against Licking Valley, apparantly they’re good, but idk cuz i’m clueless about football. squeez, go me!
oh and i guess there’s some kind of meeting thing about the PSAT/OGT/whatever other torturous types of standardized tests we have to take this year. mom’s making me go if i get out of crew interviews early. i really don’t want to, it sounds terribly boring and unimportant and it hasn’t been on announcements or anything so i doubt anybody will be there. so i’m hoping to miss it *fingerscrossed*
We had a fire drill today during math. Twas good. I got like a C+ on the test. Twas bad. The tests really need to be longer, cuz i only missed like 3 problems. One i had no clue how to do, and two were really one but in two parts that i made a stupid mistake on. *sigh* stupid mistakes are my dooooooom! doomy doomy doom doom doom! yay for elrond! anyway…
oh and i had a cookie in journalism. There was a presentation the period before us and they had leftover cookies. funfun. And i get doughnuts tomorrow in history.

I started high school this fall. It is very scary, but not so much anymore because i know my way around now. Yay for not getting lost! I have this thing called gifted seminar where all the “gifted” people go and talk philosophy with this teacher whose code name is going to be Satan because he said that some kid used to call him that. he is very evil, but in a good way. he likes my writing, so i am also having an independent study with him where i write and then he edits it. it’s fun, but at first i didnt like it because Satan is so scary.
Has anyone seen the movie /aDogma/:a? i want to see it but it is rated R.

My finger hurts. Today I was trying to push a wire that’s too long in the back of my braces into the brackets so it wouldn’t skewer the inside of my cheek with my fingernail, and it slipped and stabbed the tip of my left index finger. Which happens to be one of my main typing fingers.

We lost last night. Oh well. We pwned their band. Except they had sparkly feathers. I want a sparkly feather! We got free cookies too. And nobody messed up. w00ty w00t! and weisman’s not mad at us any more. But they didn’t have any gatorade/powerade :'( Oh and i was shaking andy’s pop but he didn’t close it all the way and it spilled a bit so he wiped the cap off with my gloves. So i wiped my hand on his jacket. So we’re terrible horrible people, getting the uniforms dirty. *gasp* Oh and leo did some quite dubious dancing up in the stands so we all yelled at him because it was really gross. And jacob and i annoyed everybody with “I’m a pirahna! I live in the amazon!” (finding nemo) And the bus ride kinda sucked cuz it was 45 min. long and i forgot my ipod (but brought my headphones…*jumps off a cliff*) And sarah and i were definitely late b/c we had crew after skool (i’m on costume again w/monica+michelle, and sarah’s prop mistress) and so she came over to my house and then we got there at like 5:45 when the bus was supposed to leave, but we weren’t the latest so it wasn’t too bad. They didn’t leave w/o us XD. Oh and i’m hyper because i slept and have energy go me except it’s raining so i can’t actually go do anything :'( Oh and my b-day’s in 20 days!!! LIG

Things about my peers that annoy me:
-people who cannot purchace their pants in the proper size. Have you ever noticed the clearence rack? The smallest size offered is usually around nine at best. Because all the skinny people need small clothes and the heavy people are in denial and get small clothes. I’m sure you’ve all seen those girls with blogs of hip etc hanging out from the gap between their toosmall jeans and toosmall shirt.
-stupid hair styles. At the moment, I’m on about that one where the top half of the hair is neon blonde and the bottom is dark brown. Or vice-versa. It is simply stupid. The change in colour is not even gradual!!!!!
-stupid people who talk during announcements.
-jocks who hit eachother on the bottom and then call everyone else gay as if it is an insult. *storms off angrily*

310, on 311-I meant that in a good way.
I got a haircut today…It feels like half of my hair got hacked off…but I think it looks okay. I asked the hairdresser to giv me a cut similar to that girl from Paramore’s style.
He was just mad at me, and asked for “his” horn back. I was hurt, and said that it was my horn, not his. He said that I didn’t pay for “a cent” of it, and he could take it away whenever he pleased. Yes, he was just mad, but now I am sad. My first thing I felt like I ever really earned is now just another object.
