  10. Links, please. Some of us are lazy.

    My own favorites, which will come as no surprise who’s been here for anything more than a day: Poems and Songs, Writing, and the RRR. They really are awesome, you know.

    Hmm… maybe we should post descriptions of the threads we recommend, so newbies will know if they’re interested or not. In that case…

    P&S- Post your own poetry and songs or comment on others’. Poems/songs you really, really like by other people is fine too. We’re very nice, and will give you compliments unless you write like a Vogon.

    Writing- Post prose here. This thread can be a little harsher in its critique, mostly because I hang around on there a lot and I’m a hardened prose critic. Still, you’ll get your share of mush love, and I’m not that evil.

    The RRR- As it says in the description, an old MB tradition in which we take turns posting parts of a long story. I have the complete manuscript saved on my computer, and it’s about 25,000 words now. The only requirement for posting there is to read this thread and the story-style posts in the actual RRR thread. Sorry about the length. Just think of it as a book on the ‘net.

    I’m still petitioning for a newer reincarnation of all of these *nudgenudgewinkwinksaynomore*, but until then, I would be a very happy Penty if you at least gave them a look.

  13. I like the Mostly Harmless 2006.1 version, but I think we need a Mostly harmless 2006.2, it is getting long.
    Hey, Robert, we need an “All That Newcomers Need To Know” thread along with your “Newcomers Welcome!” so that we can post what we think newcomers need to know, like the Llama song, Mostly Harmless, and stuff like that.

    1. Find the URL of the page you’re looking for (i.e., the RRR, https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=400). Be sure to type it all in, http:// included.

    That should automatically linkify it. But for the more daring of you, I can show you how to turn regular old text (like this, even) into a link. (Like that.)

    2. You still need the URL. Got it? Good. Now, type in the following, substituting your URL for the letters ‘URL’.

    <a href=”URL”>stuff you want to make a link</a>

    And you can make linky text, like this one to the RRR.

  34. *sigh* It doesn’t really matter where you join, just as long as you do…we have 2 countries left, and they’re up for the taking! Click here to see it…and read my explanation on post 15. Some of the “rules” (and I use the term loosely) have been ignored and forgotten by now, but it doesn’t really matter…you’ll manage, I’m sure. (I hope that “here” thing works…if not, just go to the Pieceful Pie Planet thread.)
