I would have liked to have become a prime muser, but I didn’t for three reasons:
1. Because it’s too much responsibility.
2. Because none of the choices suited me as a muser or as a person.
3. Because I wasn’t there for the elections.
So, there you have it. I would love to join someone’s ship crew, though. Or be a librarian.

I propose that-
–The curency be in pies (thrown or not depending on the value of the item).
–The land shape be roughly the shape of Austrailia, only bigger, with climate sections from all over the world on it, and islands for those who want thier own personal domain.
–We let the Great Crust Plains be left alone, as they are allready well developed.
–As for government; The PMs are in a council and then they take votes on things that governments take votes on. The general populaceis loyal to whichever PM they are in favor of. Suggestions for the government should be posted under a title of ‘Suggestion’ and then to which PM.
–The PMs have to agree on a pie war. All of them
–The dumptser dive song should be the national song
–We have a space programAnd now I’m getting into arbitrary details that can be dicided later.
If you are a PM, please say so, so we know who the governing body is. That needs a name that is less cumbersome.

in September 2nd, 2006 @ 12:59However, if Museica can be salvaged from its wreckage, I will re-unify the Crustican Republic with it. The GAPAs should set an election date for the PMs. To vote, put “(voter)” at the end of your name and type all of the PM offices and put the name of the candidate you’re voting for for each one next to them. On Election Day, the GAPAs will count the votes and announce the winners. Robert, Rosanne, I know this will be some extra work for you, but nobody else is impartial.

The Lesser Meringue starts in the Snocreme Mts. and sweeps southeast to the Sugar Beaches. Along this river’s length are many small fishing towns, one of which is St. Lacryos, home to the world’s largest ice cream maker. (The crank is turned by a waterwheel.) At the mouth of the Meringue is Sunrise City, a prosperous port and great attraction to tourists.

On the shore of the Second Lake is Spector City, the capital. South of the Triple Lakes is mostly grassland, with Cynabor, the great prairie dog mining town. East of the Cinapplis River is a large coastal-climate forest. In the west are gently rolling hills filled with farms and ranches.

in September 3rd, 2006 @ 15:59I stand reproached, Bellatrix. We need to work together to solve Museica’s problems. Everyone has really creative ideas about how they want Museica to be, but nobody can agree. My idea:
Each Muser invents a province of Museica, with currency, geography and the whole shebang. Then they work out the shared borders, the exchange rates, and the whole sub-shebang. THEN we elect Prime Musers to rule it.

I hope you like my idea, as it seems to be the only way to reconcile the brilliant yet clashing imaginations of Musers and prevent Museica from being destroyed by the very forces that created it. If anyone has a better idea, please put it forward. I would be happy to discuss it.

We have the general Museica. We elect Prime Musers to rule it. The Prime Musers choose their Vice Prime Musers.
The V-PMs should advise their PMs on issues, but do not vote in the Council of Prime Musers. Should their PM not be present, the V-PM shall fill in all duties of a PM and shall be allowed a vote on the Council.
The Prime Musers work together and create several provinces. Candidates as GMs (Governor Musers) shall come forward, and all musers shall vote for who shall be the GM of each province.
Next, we choose a currency for all the nation to use. We also need to set a standard for how much something costs in our currency. That way, no conversion rates.

In the meantime I said I’d be happy to help with PM elections in whatever way a citizen can, which would be by voting once the proceedure is established, I suppose. How about this:The pie is our main unit of currency, like the dollar for the US. It is approximately equal to the cost of materials for a pie. It is a medium sized silver colored coin with scalloped edges and a hole in the center. Actual pies may be used, depending on whether or not the shopkeepers allow it. There are also 10 pie coins(like the pie coins, only gold not silver and slightly thicker), 1/2 pie coins(half-circle, the rounded edge is scalloped, the other edge straight, silver colored, a hole in the center of the half-circle(not the edge)), and slice coins(1/8 pie value, silver triangle w/one scalloped edge, hole in center).
At least can we vote on it?

How about this: The PMs are the justice system, legislative system, and executive system. They are everything. They make the decisions. However, if most of the citizens of Museica disagree with the PMs on something, the decision may be changed.
Also, PMs need to choose V-PMs
PMs can also make up whatever official offices they feel necessary (like Cheif of Security and whatnot.)

Article three- Justice branch
nine judges acting as the highest court in the land can only mean one thing you can only do such a thing if you feel that you are being denied personal rights.BILL OF RIGHTS

We, the Musers of Museica, in order to form a more perfect country, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility and an absence of pie wars, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Great Land of Museica.
ARTICLE I.
Sect. 1. ALL legislative powers, herein grated, shall be vested in a Congress of the Prime Musers and Vice Prime Musers and all assistants they deem necessary.
Sect. 2. The House of Prime Musers shall be composed of Musers who desire to help the Great Land of Museica. They shall be elected for life, barring resignation.
No person shall be a Prime Muser who shall not have been on Museblog for a minimum of four weeks and read a minimum of two threads on the founding of Museica..
The Prime Musers will be as follows: The Aeiouian Prime Muser, The Mimian Prime Muser, The Chadian Prime Muser, The Crrawian Prime Muser, The Kokopellian Prime Muser, The Uranian Prime Muser, The Boian Prime Muser, The Featherian Prime Muser and The Pwtian Prime Muser.
Should a Prime Muser be absent for an extended period of time with out explanation, the Vice Prime Muser shall take the place of the Prime Mussr and a new Vice Prime Muser shall be appointed. Should the Vice Prime Muser deny the office or be ineligible to hold it, a New Prime Muser shall be elected.

Sect. 5. Each House may determine the rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two thirds, expel a member.
Sect. 6. No Prime Muser may be Vice Prime Muser of any type.
Sect. 7. When the Prime Musers have reached a conclusion as to the law of the Museica, they shall issue a statement so that the citizens may know and follow the law. This shall they do unless three quarters of the Prime Musers shall agree that it is a matter of national security to keep the decision secret.
Sect. 8. The Houses alone have the authority to regulate commerce with foreign nations, to coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures; to provide for the punishment of counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States; to establish post-offices and post-roads; to promote the progress of science and useful arts; to prevent Pie Wars; and, to make all laws which shall be necessary for the functioning of Museica.
Sect. 9. No title of nobility shall carry with it any duties or privileges.
ARTICLE II.
Sec. 1. The executive power shall be vested in the citizens of the land of Museica who wish to be a part of the government. They shall have make a motion to repeal a law that the majority disagrees with.
ARTICLE III.
Sect. 1. The judicial power of the Great Land of Museica shall be vested in one Supreme Court, and in such Inferior Courts as the House may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and Inferior Courts, shall hold their offices during good behavior.
Sect. 2. Should a matter not have been resolved in the Inferior Courts, it shall be up to the judges to deem whether or not it is of national importance that the case be solved. Should they deem it of importance, they shall judge the case.
Should a question as to the meaning of a law or this Constitution arise, the jusdges shall discuss it with the House and come to a firm conclusion.
ARTICLE IV.
Sect. 1. Each section of Museica may run their own affairs so long as doing so does not interfere or conterdict the rulings of the national government.
ARTICLE V.
Sect. 1. The Houses, whenever three quarters of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution; which shall be valid, to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the heads of three fourths of the several Sections.
ARTICLE VI.
Sect. 1. This Constitution, and the laws of Museica which shall be made in pursuance thereof, and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of Museica shall be the supreme law of the land; and the Judges in every Section, shall be bound thereby.
The Prime Musers and Vice Prime Musers before mentioned, and the members of the several Section Legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, shall be bound by oath or affirmation to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office, or public trust, under the Great Land Of Museica.
ARTICLE VII.
The general agreement of the citizens and Prime Musers shall ratify this Constitution and Make it law.
ARTICLE VIII.
Sect. 1. The House shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Sect. 2. The right of the people to keep and bear pie weapons, provided they are not of mass destruction, shall not be infringed.
Sect. 3. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Sect. 4. No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
Sect. 5. In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.
Sect. 6. In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed three pies, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
Sect. 7. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
Sect. 8. The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
Sect. 9. The powers not delegated to the National Government by the Constitution, are reserved to the sections respectively, or to the people.
Sect. 10. The judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by citizens of another state, or by citizens or subjects of any foreign state.
Sect. 11. No one shall be held as a slave or forced laborer.

I spent every second of my free time at school writing it.
here it is:
ARTICLE 1: The Prime Musers and Council
1.1 – The Prime Musers are the rulers of Museica. They are known as the PMs. The make up the Council.
1.2 – The PMs take an office and stay there. The available offices in the Council are the Kokopellian PM, the Uranian PM, the Chadian PM, the Boian PM, the Craawian PM, the Pwtian PM, the Aeiouian PM, the Featherian PM, and the Mimian PM
1.3 – The PMs stay in office unless they resign or someone else runs for an office. If a PM resigns from an office, the office becomes empty until someone else claims it [basically, it’s first come first served]. If someone wants an already occupied office, there will be an election in the Council as to who will get the office.
1.4 – The PMs can pretty much do whatever they want, but if another PM and/or the majority of Musers objects to the decision/law/action, there will be a vote in the Council. The Council members should take into account the opinions of the citizens.
1.5 – A PM cannot be impeached – only by someone running against them can a PM leave the Council against their will.
1.6 – A PM can create an office (like, say, Official Pie Maker) if someone wants an office that has not been created yet.ARTICLE 2: The Vice Prime Musers
2.1 – The Vice Prime Musers are the advisors of the PMs. They are known as V-PMs.
2.2 – The V-PMs are chosen by the PMs. They must advise their PM. The V-PM offices are the Kokopellian V-PM, the Uranian V-PM, the Chadian V-PM, the Boian V-PM, the Craawian V-PM, the Pwtian V-PM, the Aeiouian V-PM, the Featherian V-PM, and the Mimian V-PM
2.3 – When a PM needs a V-PM, a Muser can present itself for the position. However, it is up to the PM whether or not to accept the candidate.
2.4 – When a PM leaves office, the V-PM leaves as well. The former V-PM may still run for an office, though.
2.5 – A V-PM may not vote in the Council. However, when a PM is absent from a Council voting, the V-PM may vote in the PM’s place.ARTICLE 3: The GAPAS
3.1 – The Gapas are above the law. Musers should treat them like Gods of the Blog.ARTICLE 4: The Musers
4.1 – The Musers, or Citizens, must follow the laws of the Council and of the GAPAs.
4.2 – Citizens may suggest topics of disscussion to the Council, but do not vote.—
That’s it.
Very loose, so that changes can be made in the future.
Personally, I think it’s easier to understand than the US Constituion that Zyvia changed.
But then again, I wrote it.

Someone – PLEASE answer my thingy about wanting to be Pwtian PM! I can’t just walk in and say that I am (I can, but that just doesn’t seem right to me), I need someone (preferably a PM) to allow me to! All you need to say is something along the lines of, “Sure, THF, why not? You seem good enough to me.”

If not, I will set up house in Coontz City. This community is geothermally powered by the Hot Fudge Volcano and does not pollute the beautiful surrounding Fruitful Hills. It will probably soon become a thriving port, due to its proximity to both the Blueberry Sea and the Filling Sea. It is famous for inventions, its patron Muse being Chad.

Since, according to the first Constitution and not contradicted by the second constitution,”the executive power shall be vested in the citizens of the land of Museica who wish to be a part of the government”, there’ll have to be a vote. in October 1st, 2006 @ 17:04Doesn’t anyone pay attention? The nine Prime Musers are the legislative branch. They make the laws. They also attend diplomatic functions and oversee their specialties. For example, I, the Uranian Prime Muser, am in charge of the space program. The executive branch consists of all self-declared citizens of Museica. They approve laws, suggest improvements, and appoint justices. The Museican Supreme Court decides the constitutionality of the laws if they are challenged. TMFA wants to be chief justice of the Museican Supreme Court, but he/she has to be appointed by the executive branch. So far, there are no yes votes, but one no vote, so it doesn’t look like TMFA is the chief justice.

in October 5th, 2006 @ 16:11very simple. you argue it out. you each get one post to be posted by saturday that acts as a campaign speech. after that, you may debate in a reasonable fashion until sunday afternoon. on sunday afternoon (12:00 pm- 11:59 pm museblog time) every museblogger (per PERSON not per Identity) posts who tehy wish to vote for. teh other PMs (and the GAPAs if they so desire) get to count up the votes. i wish there was a way to do secret voting, but i can’t think of anything.
i suggest that before anyone start getting heated in the debate that they take a look on the “who’s here” page.
oh wait- i forgot. since i like playing along, Dae, have you been on for the required four weeks?

234 – Well, actually, it isn’t. I think that it is fairly original….
Here’s a story I started writing. If I have the complete wrong idea or something, just tell me. Anything in [brackets] is a note to the reader, but not part of the story:
Once upon a time, in the depths of happy getting along, a girl/boy named [Muser name here] and many friends/supporters (such as Kokopelli) got an idea.
“Maybe,” thought [name here] and many other friends (such as Kokopelli), “We could start a war. A froody war, with pies flying everywhere! What flamablamablous chaos that would create!”
And thus began The Great Pie War.

For Blog Years after the war, banana cream and other pie makin’s covered the surface of the once-perfect island of Museica. Although most of the people on Museica were humans, and on top of that, most of them were descended from apes and could swing from treetop to treetop, the island had been deserted due to too many incidents involving stickiness.
Those who survived the deadly [no offense to pie lovers, but they had morphed a bit over time] banana cream and the long ship ride of exploration lived happily in the land of MuseBlog for many Blog Years. But soon the people of MuseBlog became more curious as to what had happened to their wonderful world. So a troop of veterans boarded [ship name here] and sailed back to Museica.
Over the Blog Years, all the stickiness had formed a hard crust, and it had swelled quite a bit, but the island was safe to walk on. But the destruction was still devastating. What could they do?
“I know,” said a bright sailor named [name here], “We can rebuild civilization!”
This was such a good idea that everyone agreed to it. And [bright sailor’s name here] spoke to the GAPAs of MuseBlog and convinced them to start a thread on MuseBlog called “Rebuilding Civilization,” as well as other similar threads. And thus the work began.
Everyone thought that it would be wise to scrape off the banana cream and other pie makin’s first, so that is what they did. Once the layers had been removed, (which took almost an entire BY) they looked around. Everything looked the same, except for the fact that it had all been suffocated. They had to take the dead vegetation out if they wanted civilization to be rebuilt.
MuseBlog had plenty of green, so the people took some and scattered it across the island of Old Museica. It looked much better. But many problems remained. [

in October 27th, 2006 @ 17:24I disagree with TMFA’s names. Reality as I see it:
The capital of Museica is New Reykjavik. There are 9 pie slices, one overseen by each PM. They are referred to as Kokopel, Urainicia, Mimimi, Featherland, Chadia(the first a is pronounced with an “a” sound, as in gain), Aeiouy, Pwter, Boshire, and Crrawton. The capitals and features of each state I will let their respective PMs decide. I’m the Uranian PM, so Urainicia’s capital city is Galilei and notable landmarks include Great Slice Ravine and the Custard and Meringue Marshes. New Reykjavik is where all the states meet and it’s not in any of them.

in October 27th, 2006 @ 17:39Oh, good. Crrawton is apple cinnamon, since meringue is already taken. Its capitol, Rhym, is centered by one enormous library, which is the third tallest building in the world. Rhym is on the shore of the Eastern Seas. The Crusty Plains take up most of Crrawton, but on its westernmost edge, there are the Alamode Mts., whose foothills are home to numerous apple orchards. Spices are found in great abundance here.
