Sorry to post for the 4th time but where is everyone?! I’m all alone! Hello? Hello? Anyone home? I think a reason for me being happy is that our school is having chicken pie for lunch today and our school’s chicken pie is AWESOME! It’s the only trhing left that is still awesome because this year they had to take almost all the sugar outof all the food. Does anyone else have that problem?

Finally, I get my life back. So I’m spending it at school on a computer. I am sad.
But I won NaNo, so I expect to be in a positively euphoric mood all month. Okay, until I have to go to my cousin’s baptism. I’ll be in NYC, and not be able to go to the Met. *sigh*
And I think the 15 is Bill of Rights Day? Or was that just 1941?

5- We have same food problem. Part of a statewide “Health and Wellness Policy.” It is even weirder in grade school, or so I hear.
I cannot wait to go home and just sleep. And not have to worry about writing and writing and writing.
At the moment, I should be worrying about a chem essay. So I did not do my HW. Big deal. I needed another 5k day yesterday. And now I have free time in school.
I actually have class next period, and then I have a movie because my gov’t teacher is not going to be present. I will do my calc HW then. And an Il Divo party in Spanish class. Because we apparently need to be exposed to multi-cultural music that just happens to be sung by four people my teacher finds extremely attractive. Pwnage!

My father’s shoveling. Heh heh heh heh. It’s the 2nd time he’s had to do it this morning, and I am still astoundingly happy, even though I absolutely hate snow as we all are aware. Hate it. I am still way happy, though; a long weekend, no school, getting to spend the day chatting it up with a bunch of geeky forensic genetic scientists who are a bunch of fun, and I just bought Christmas in Philadelphia online. It’s not like The Philadelphia Story, in case you’re wondering. Different; there’s a columnist who fakes being on a farm for her column, her fiance who’s a rat has a farm, so when her boss comes to check it out she decides to pretend like it’s hers, and there’s a convalescent Army guy who the boss sends to recouperate there, due to stuff, and they have an interesting time faking it. That synopsis made no sense at all, but it’s a complicated movie and a good one. We’re watching Top Hat in Film Study. The pocketpeeks aren’t weird at all. Really. Not.

I’m at the lab. The drive here was horrendous; spin offs, accidents, two eighteen-wheelers racing down the one lane, roads literally covered with ice, bits of rod on the road, and did I mention the trucks? The guy in the one in front flipped me off, they were tailgating us and then this one guy in a red Jeep with a conservative bumper sticker. Not a good experience. Ever taken the big highway from Calgary to Banff? Same thing, but faster, less well kept, and a nightmare. Seriously. It was. Totally.

8/9/10/11/12- *cries* It’s unseasonably warm here. I was warm standig outside waiting for the bus this morning with no jacket. It’s raining now, and while there’s none of the joy of snow, I had to carry my trombone a quarter of the way across the high school to get to my bus, with no umbrella because it would be useless with the angle of the rain and hard to carry, and with my hair constantly flying in my face because of the wind. Not to complain, but I hate global warming.

SNOW DAY!!
Well, actually, when Mum woke me up to tell me there was a snow day so I could sleep in, there wasn’t any snow, only freezing rain. Our driveway was ice. It was pretty cool. But there’s snow on the ground now, which is nice, because an ice day doesn’t sound nearly as much fun.
We were supposed to get six to twelve inches, but it hasn’t come yet. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Monday…
I just made a basket. I plan to put potpourri in it. Now I want to start my bottle-cap, paw-paw seed and guitar-pick neckalces.
Nonetheless, I’m being far more productive than I would be in school, even if its quarter to three and I haven’t gotten out of my pajamas yet.

SM’s day was really weird.
1. We watched Loose Change in gov’t with the substitute. They didn’t even make their theory so much as thought-provoking let alone semi-convincing. It mostly annoyed me so I did math.
2. I seem to be going to this one Xmas dance around where I live. *repeatedly bangs head off of desk* Estoy an idiot. Why?

6. Eragon advance tickets are on sale. My “THAT DID NOT HAPPEN IN THE BOOK” friend and I are going. We have been planning on it for literally over a year. Almost like we planned on HP and LOTR and H2G2. Yeah. The book was bad enough. But I cannot help it.
7. I barely use contractions any more, after NaNo. I only used a few in my novel. Hey, wordcount!
8. We only have rain. And much wind. Windwindwind. My hair is weird because of it. Not bad-weird, just weird. I heart this cut.
9. I expect to be dragged into a muddy field this weekend or the next to find a tree. And my dad and I will make fun of my mother and sister the whole time, suggesting getting pine-tree air fresheners instead. It never gets old. It is rather amusing; my father and I are pretty much non-denominational…. my sister and mother are really into their religion, my mother more so than my sister.
10. I think I am going to kill the toner in my HP Color LaserJet 4550 printing out the NaNo winner certificate. Whatever, I should be getting a new one soon. w00t.

Hello. It’s December in a place that never gets snow days. I swear, there has to be two feet of snow, below-zero wind, ice everywhere and no power at the schools for a snow day to happen here. And yet, in Maryland, people stock up on canned milk and bread if 1 inch of snow is predicted.

It is really wierd. We never get more thann an Inch of snow, and it was predicted that we would get an inch (of course they shut down skool) but we wound up getting 6 inches over an inch and a half of ice. weird

on friday i had to go to peter wentz farmstead for the candlelight tour. it was freeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzing cold and i had nothing on but a shawl! darn these period clothes! anyway, it wasnt very exciting but i the girl i was with was nice. and i got to talk to my cute guy!
then i went to my friend’s sleepover and saw an indian movie (i’m not indian; she is and so was everyone else there except for one person). it had english subtitles though. and the songs were good. now they r stuck in my head.

I know this is an insanely long post, but it would make me feel happy inside if a few ppl read it. Or even the last half (Yeah, def read the last half!! Then you’ll know why I’m all psyched right now!! ^_^)
So. I just got back from the best skool trip ever.
We left TC at 6:30 Fri morning. We had this cute little tour bus (b/c there were only twenty of us), which Morgan + I called The Short Bus.
The trip down was interesting. See, the first blizzard of the season was coming up from downstate, which was where we were headed. Consequently we ended up driving straight into the storm. For every mile we traveled, I saw another inch of snow next to the road. But we made it there okay.
Once we got there, we went to the opening ceremony, and then watched this play called Fools. It was about a skoolteacher who goes to this remote village, all excited to be teaching, but then finds out that the entire village is cursed w/ stupidity. Uber-hilarious. Haha, the bad guy was called Yousuckavitch. Hehe…
I only ended up going to one workshop, but it was probably one of the best ones: Stage combat. For 2.5 hrs, we pretty much learned how to fake-beat each other up.
After dinner, we watched Bus Stop (I forgot which skools did which plays. All I know is that most of the other troops there were from downstate, and we were kind of like the tiny troop that no one knew about).
Then we went to the hotel. Guess what? They put some of us in smoking rooms! Jeesh, we’re kids! Tch…But we ended up switching rooms, so I was thankful for that. Once we had settled in our room, I noticed this big crack between the mirror + the wall. There was light coming through the crack – when I looked more closely, I found that this was b/c the mirror was actually a sliding door, and if you opened it, the Jacuzzi (in the bathroom) was right behind it! I stuck my hand through the crack, and was like Hey, Morgan, look at the wall above the tub!” (She had just walked into the bathroom) Hahaha…
Later, the guys we had switched rooms w/ kept calling us + hanging up, so Sarah decided to call them back. When they answered, she took her iPod, started playing Bringing Sexy Back, and held the headphones up to the phone. Hehe…
Sarah + I went down to get some snacks later, and this freaky lady came up to me + was like “BLAHdeblahdeblahdeblah!!” I was like “Erm…Excuse me, Ma’am?” Then she was like “BlahdeblahdewearshoesBLAH!” Oh, okay. So she thought I was spreading my toe fungus (JK) everywhere (I was barefoot). Well, Matt was on the stairs, and he’s like “Hey, do you want these?” And then tossed his socks down to me. Eeeeeeew, LOL! =) But still have a bit of tomboy left in me, so I didn’t mind. Aww…
The next morning, when we came down for breakfast, some guys came up to us and were like “Dude, why did you keep calling us?” But they weren’t the guys we were bothering! Yeah, I don’t think anyone slept Fri night…LOL.
We went back to Waterford-Mott High at nine, and watched part of Picnic. During the first intermission, we had to leave to set up for SPAR. We were in one of the gyms, not the auditorium, which kind of sucked – I mean, we didn’t even have a real stage! It was just nine table-type thingies, painted black, w/ a back wall that was a few ft tall. It was funny – Matt jumped up on the “stage,” and immediately, two of the tables seperated, and made this three-inch gape. Ha…Yeah, the stage really did suck. And of course, there wasn’t a “backstage,” either. We just had part of the hallway, and the there were some ppl who just huddled behind the cruddy stage in the gym.
But, nevertheless, WE PWNED!! It was soooo cool – The audience laughed when they were supposed to, no one screwed up…it was great. We totally owned that stupid stage. I felt goode, even in my skimpy Showgirl dress…I usually get really uneasy wearing anything w/ less coverage than a T-shirt, LOL.
I kept my stage makeup on the rest of the day. LOL, I felt like a goth that afternoon – I was wearing my heartagram hoodie w/ black pants, carrying around my pentagram tote, and then I had this crazy eyeliner on as well, and it was all smeary too. But I mean, I doubt anyone thought anything of it. There were a lot of freaks there, LOL (Yeah, I didn’t have to associate w/ any “normal” ppl at all this weekend – It was the best, =).)
Then I did a bunch of nothing between the play and dinner. During dinner, we watched B-nay and Sarah go confess their love to random ppl. It was hi-larious. I’m not really shy, but I don’t think I just go up to someone and “confess my love” to them. Jeesh, I’m still learning the names of everyone else in our group! And regretting waiting until senior year to join…
After dinner, we watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Oh my goode ness. It was fantastic! I esp liked the set – Can’t really explain it, but it was fantastically froody, that set was…When Nurse Ratched got beat up, everyone cheered really loud. Def one of the best plays I’ve ever watched.
Then came awards.
Well, since we were the little troop from Godknowswhere, we weren’t that recognized, so we just watched all the other troops getting their fifty-million awards. Not like I didn’t think we did a goode job – Heck, the fact that we got to go to this thing totally rox, and you know, we really did do okay w/ SPAR. We def did.
So after all the individual awards were given out, Morgan + I were just like “W00t! Letsgetouttahere!”
But then…
They said that two plays had beene invited to go to Nationals.
Two one-acts.
SPAR is a one-act.
The lady said that the first play invited was performed by troop 2203 from TC.
SPAR.
I think everyone just froze in shock for a few seconds. Then the awards lady started talking againe, and we just broke down into cheering/screaming/hugging!! Man, I was sooo happy!! It was FREAKING AMAZING!! WE’VE BEEN INVITED TO NATIONALS!! Zomygawd!!
…There was one other play invited, but I was to spazzed to even see which one it was. I think it’s Cut – one of the ones I didn’t have a chance to see.
I swear, no one slept (Wait – there was one person. Augh, how could she do that, LOL!) on the way home. We stopped at a Shell station, bought a ton of candy and energy drinks, and freaking partied the whole way back!
We made it back to TC at 2 AM this morning. B-nay had this idea about getting every one of us a SPAR program, + having ppl write little sweet-nothings in it. Two guys wrote that I was hot – – But, LOL, I feel kinda bad, b/c I don’t know who one of them is! Man, I need to learn some freaking names here!
Fortunately, I didn’t have to go to work today, as I thought I did before. So I slept. Until three this afternoone.

So.
Green opens up the new color season, climbing the charts from its previous position to fourth place. Some believe it will continue to rise. As one senior at St. Anselm’s Abbey School, the most awesome school this side of Cacton, recently said, “Yeah, Green’s a good color; it’s got a lot of potential.” was unfortunately unavailable for comment.
Red, however, remains at the top of the rankings at the beginning of this season. The season’s rankings are below. (last year’s rankings are in parentheses.)
1.Red(1)
Red continues to be a really great color. There’s not a whole lot more to say about this spectacular color. It goes great with everything, has no injuries, and the schedule makes things look promising. Also it has the advantage of being the school color of the most spectacular school in the universe, St. Anselm’s.
2.Blue(3)
Blue flip-flopped with Navy from the end of last year because of a great off-season. Lots of people are saying that this is “the year” for Blue, but unfortunately refuse to elaborate. Only time will tell.
3.Navy Blue(2)
This ranking will anger Navy. I’m sorry, but I think regular old Blue will have a better season. Navy will have troubl working out a few kinks from the off-season, but it will still be successful anyway.
4.Green(8)
Green was down for a while, but now it’s back and better than ever. It would likely be #1 if it had not been so low last year. If it continues to develop, it should be at the top by the end of the year.
5.Orange(5)
Solid Orange. Always a solid color. It can never get too high in the rankings because people confuse it with its fruit namesake. Regardless, this looks to be another solid season.
6.Yellow(4)
Yellow is displaced from the top five by Green. From what I hear, Yellow is very bitter. Though it opens the season with a chip on its shoulder, I believe it can return to the top five and even continue to rise after that. Someday Yellow will thank me for insulting it now.
7.Black(6)
This could be a dark year for Black,but it also might be the year Black become the dark-horse candidate and rise to the top. Sometimes Black is left in the dark, but often it emerges form the darkness into victory. Who knows?
8.Gray(7)
This will be another boring season for Gray because it’s a boring color. Gray is not to be confused with Grey, who is currently leading the British League.
9.Purple(10)
Ah, the royal color. These are no longer the days of kings and queens, so the color Purple will remain close to the bottom.
10.Brown(9)
It’s Brown. Who likes Brown?(Please, Brown lovers, don’t blog telling me that you like Brown and are offended by this, OK?)

i get $35 a month. I firststarted with $1 a week when i was 5, then $1.50 when i was 6, then $2 hen i was 7, and after that i got a $1 a week raise every birthday then we decided for simplicity to change it to monthly and i get a $5 a month raise every march.

92-low? are you kidding? i get 5 a week and i pay for dinner w/friends, book club, most choklit (parentals barely ever buy it actually-huzzah for cvs), etc. thankfully not lunch money though. And then books and all. Parentals will buy if it’s a “classic” which i don’t get. But i’ve gotten many good books from that. But all sci-fi/fantasy/newer stuff i have to get myself. Umm… I get 10 dollars a week, minus whatever my parents decide to deduct. “oh, I found you’re ight on this morning. There goes a dollar.” “I just bought Bandit some new food, so that’s 5 off” and stuff like that. Meh. Plus they find it “easier and more convienient” to pay me only once evry two months in large chunks which I allways manage to blow on books in the first two weeks of having cash. So I’ve taken(sometimes, only when I’m really forcing myself) to shoving a 5 or 10 each time I get paid into the piggybank of no return, which I can’t open without pliers and wouldn’t break. So maybe I’ll end up saving something eventually. Unless I find out I have enough to buy photoshop. Then it’s goodbye money, hello pictures! untill I get banned from the comp, which happens a lot. The worst so far has been the night before Nano is due. So I couldn’t update my word count.

I am in so much suspense right now. You know that guy I was talking about? Well, Tabby is going out w/ his friend, whom I will refer to as D. Today, I was in this strange mood…just saying everything that popped into my head (Talkytalktalktalk – SQUIRREL!…talkitytalktalktalk – Hey, there’s a spot on the ceiling! How cool is that?), and I ended up telling Tabby that I really, really like this guy. I was kind of nervous for a sec as to how she would react, but she didn’t make a big deal out of it.
After skool, I went to work, and then I went Xmas shopping, so I didn’t get back to mi casa until 9:30. About three min after I walked in the door, Tabby calls me. She said something like “Yeah…Would you ever consider going out w/ J?” Then she told me that…she kind of told D that I liked J…and D is fairly certain that J likes me.
I figure that, since it was D who said this, I should believe it. I mean, guys don’t tell white lies (about who likes who) to make other ppl feel better.
They’re going to talk to him this weekend, and I’ll know by tomorrow evening whether he likes me or not.
So…I guess you can count on me being either off-the-wall happy/hyped, or at rock bottom next time I log on.

So. More about my day. I worked for the first time in two weeks. This lady called the store + wanted to order ten slices of fudge, each boxed individually. Well, when it’s a mail order, we can’t box individual 1/2 lbs; sry, lady. She ranted at me. I sat there + listened, b/c that’s what I’m paid to do. N + I ended up having to pack all of it into this big olde box, and it took us freaking forever to do so (Really. I’m glad no customers decided to come in then, b/c for about 45 min, it was nothing but “Bah humbug!” and “Screw the stupid holidays!” Heh heh. Heh). Then…we figured out that, since we’re using a box this big, we could indeede box the pieces individually, and then put a buttload of packing peanuts in the box, so they wouldn’t get jostled in the mail (“Dude, this lady is going to be like “What the…” when she opens this box!”).
Downtown was sooo pretty tonight! Lots of Xmas lights…and there’s this huge tree on Front St. I got some pix.
After we closed, I went to Annie’s and bought a ton of…completely, utterly random stuff. See, I’ve decided to buy all my friends gag gifts this year (I’m going to try + hit up Spencer’s as well). Haha, I was walking around the store w/ this huge armload of kitschy/gag-gift stuff. It was fun. Then I went to the bookstore to looke at magazines. I found a ton of rock mags… As I dug through the back of the magazine rack, I found one I’ve nvr seene before. It’s an underground goth-type mag called Drop Dead. I’ve skimmed it, + it looks v neat – Has a lot of DIY clothes ideas, which me likes.

2. Open House was Thurs. Open House, a.k.a. parents walk around and talk to their kids’ teachers. I think my math teacher really dislikes me. Whatever, though. I don’t like her at all. As a person, that is. She’s a good teacher.

Hey Sweet Melpomene! My piano lesson is today too! I’m happy because my teacher gave me a break and let me practise some really pretty christmas music instead of the usual classic, scales, ect. I must have practiced almost twice every day because the music made me so happy!
Do you guys know what the new thing at our is school?! It’s so annoying!! We now have to wear these little stepometer things all day and if we don’t reach 10000 steps by the end of the day we are labled fatties. But how are we supposed to walk around alot if we’re stuck in our desks all day solving math problems, etc.?! It’s stupid! And every morning we also have to record what we’ve eatin for each meal! I call that an invasion on my privacy! I don’t care if it’s a grade! Though it probubly wouldn’t matter bacause I mostly eat the same thing every day except for at dinner. I LOVE kiwis fruit but we don’t get them very often so they are more of a treat. They are so DELICOUS!
It is extremely funny about the stepometers! Yesterday all the kids were finding ways to cheat on them. The easiest was to just shake them as hard as possible. Another was to stick them on their shoe and tap it all throughout class. The most funniest happened when some computer crazy kid figured out how to wire them. The teachers caught a few of them doing it and they comfiscated them.

Ebethydoodles also used to have pear trees in her backyard at her old house, although they were small and had yet to produce edible pears by the time she moved away. But they were growing, and her moste illustrious grandma had pear trees just like them growing and giving pears, and she lived in MI as well, just a little farther north and on the east side of the state, not the west.

216, 218, 220 – I sort of exaggerated about the pear tree. We need to get another one before they can pollenate each other and make fruit. And it’s kind of a young tree, not old enough to make fruit that we can eat. But we are going to get another one eventualy!!!! And we do have two peach trees! Even though they, too, are newbies and will not give us edible fruit yet. The only edible stuff we have are tomatoes, rhubarb, peppers, lettuce, and sometimes sour-ish cherries. And wild strawberries, which didn’t do diddly and didn’t give us a single good-tasting berry this year.

My idea for thread ended up at the bottom of November’s last thread, so I’ll post it again: I think we should start a thread where everyone posts under a different (new) name, and pretends to be their alter-ego. We could even take it a step further, and have everyone try to guess who each alter-ego-name actually is…once somebody figured out who you were, if they ever did, you would post under your original other-thread name, and just keep talking and trying to guess who other people really are…if that makes any sense…anyway, what do ya’ll think?

I just made a biography for my father. It’s really cool. There’s a picture of Ann Margret in it, and also a baby picture of my father.
Speaking of baby pictures, we do this thing where the 8th graders bring in baby pics of themselves and then people guess who’s which picture. I have scars on my scalp, so I’m easy to identify, but other people apparently aren’t. I have a picture of myself sitting in an electric hood, laughing, at about six months of age. Oh, and one where I’m riding my great-uncle’s miniature seeing pony.
I am also getting really campsick. And my projects are crawling along slowly.

Aye, me again, just when you thought I was gone for good. Anyways, I’ve been working on some lots for Sims 2 since you last saw me. Unfortunately I have become the usual Snow Feverish self that hops around just about this time every single year. So today, along came the first of a winter series of random little neighborhood decoration lot things. The ideas stopped coming as soon as Christmas tree, stocking, and present. Ideas? I’ll make houses too. I guess this will have to double as a holiday present thing for my simming friends around here.

I have had nine absences in the semester. if you have more than nine absences you can’t have activities (pin and ribbon ceremony, 8th grade picnic, magic mountain) and you can’t graduate unless something weird happens and the office doesn’t actually lose your appeal like it always does. The nine absences were due to chicken pox and a DC trip because I can’t go with my school. I just found out I have strep throat and I can’t go to school tomorrow. Not only does this mean that I will fail half my classes because I’m missing finals, I also probably can’t graduate. My mom says it would be selfish of me to go to school and get other kids sick the week before Christmas just so I can graduate. She’s not letting me go to school. I can’t make up any of the finals that I’m missing. At all. So I will do terribly in the classes (as I already said). Also, one of my friends will also fail because her notebook is in my locker (it is due tomorrow) and she doesn’t know my combo. She also loaned me her notebook for another class and need it back ASAP to study for another test, and I can’t get it back to her. I feel like a really bad friend. Could someone send me some virtual choklit? I’m feeling pretty depressed about this.

Righto. So that guy who likes me is always talking to me at the beginning/end of this one class. Which would be fine and all except for the part where his one friend knows about all this and makes weird faces and dances [this kid is seriously messed up, in a spiffy way, but he’s disturbing nonetheless; you can just guess; it’s not more than PG-10ish rated, though. this kid is just weird]. Anyway, the conversations are always really random. Let me see… [my random in brackets and italics] For instance, on Mondyay…
Him: *spontaneously turns around* So was that Mondyay thing a typo?
Me: No. It was me trying to make Mon.s less depressing.
Him: That’s pretty much impossible.
Me: Well, I lose, then.
Him: *laughs* Yeah.
Me: Seriously, I slept in this morning. The alarm didn’t work properly. An so I almost missed my bus. [FYI, it didn’t work properly that morning, for whatever weird reason. Same thing happened yesterday; though I almost miss my bus on quite a few occasions…it was just worse that day…]
Him: *laughs again* [gosh, it’s not amusing!] Lucky…
Me: *shakes head and mutters* …not really…
Him: I had an appointment on Sat. But I put my alarm on the other side of my room so…yeah…
Me: You’d have to physically get up to turn it off?
Him: *more bloody laughter* Yeah. It worked quite well, actually. […I would imagine so…]
Me: I had to be somewhere on Sat. morning. I slept in and was late. [very late indeed] *shrugs*
Him: …nice…*chuckles* [I’m really not that amusing. Ever.]
Class: *BEGINS!*
And all the while his strange friend was…being his weird self, essentially. And actually not playing Tetris during class.
Such is life. I’ve gone off the antisocial-avoidant deepend.
And it’s really kind of hard to avoid someone who sits in front of you in a class you actually like and really cannot afford to miss. And is in one of the same clubs.
Speaking of which, the science club has not met in some time…
Anywhoo, I did manage to not speak to anyone other than the teacher in that class… so…yeah, I suppose that works. Don’t know why, though. But wait; there’s more. Two more, actually.
*sigh* And on Tues. while I was walking out of school with a friend of mine [actually, walking to a class roomdiscussing how we should get our lips pierced, in case you wanted to know….our parents did not respond well to that…] he and his one friend [a normal one] were walking toward my friend’s exit from a different direction at the same time, and I, being in the process of exchanging farewells with my friend, did not notice this until his friend indicates me and says very loudly, but jokingly, “There’s your girlfriend.” Of course I realize she wasn’t entirely serious, but I’ve said that to friends of mine who have really liked random people…so…yeah… I promptly went to my classroom.
And just to clarify: I’m probably making him sound like a complete jerk, but he seriously isn’t. He’s really more of a huge nerd, but in a cool way. Seriously, he answers pretty much every question in that class, probably because he’s the only one to ever actually do his hw. He’s actually reallyreallyreally nice too. All the time. I suppose this is just a side effect of my complete lack of social skills [my total socialskills=-.5] The thing is, I volley between liking him too and being completely irritated. And it doesn’t help that I’m ridiculously shy+quiet offline. I can go hours without feeling the need to speak a single word. Meh. Yes, I’m always this confuzzelized.
*sings* …there is this thing keeping everyone’s lungs and lips locked… it is called fear and it’s seeing a great renaissance…

Well, I’ve been having the weirdest week so far – But weird in a good way!
I swear, about 90% of the ppl I talked to today were guys. This is just kinda weird for me, b/c I’ve nvr really had any guy friends since elem/jr high. Ha…+ then later, I was talking to one of my (girl) friends, and, after a few seconds, realized that I was still talking as if I were talking to a guy. LOL, I’m starting to get vivid images of my tomboy days right now…Haha.
And…things seem to be going (surprisingly!) well w/ J and I…We were talking on the bus this afternoon, and it was seriously like…100 times less awkward than two days ago! And, he’s apparently not afraid of giving me hugs anymore (He actually asked me for one today), LOL. Honestly, I thought I was kind of overwhelming him a bit the other day…We might be going to see Eragon this weekend. A bunch of my friends are coming as well, but it’ll just be fun to be w/ J somewhere besides skool.

Ok, I can graduate. *is immensely relieved*. there’s this one guy in my band, he’s weird and dances to the songs while he’s not playing. So two of my friends, they really, really like him. I always stick my alarm clock across the room from me so I have to get up. My alarm clock makes annoying beeping sounds so even if I try to stay in bed I’m driven crazy so I have to get out.
I’m excited! Me and my friend are going to sing in a talent show at school! We’re going to sing “For Good” from “Wicked”. We have to use a karoke thing though because the music that came with the song was too advanced for me to play on the piano. I’m kind of down about that. I fond out that I can’t just play anything I set my mind to.

from the allowance discussion a while back: I don’t officially get an allowance any more. My parents just give me money when I ask for it. And I get usually $10/$20 a week from teaching lessons, depending how many people show up.

So school’s basically over.. I had my last final today.. I still have to go tomorrow because it’s the “official attendance period” and my orchestra teacher is lame so we’ll just sit in the orchestra room and eat stuff instead of sleeping in.. I mean, come on, we aren’t even having an orchestra final this year…
But yeah, I’m glad school’s over. I got PSAT scores back – 228. Unfortunately it doesn’t count this year. Oh well, it probably should go up next year.

I am in fifth grade and I am almost eleven and a half. Nice guess Em, but no. I wish. We have one ‘Round the World party, in which each fifth grade class is a different winter holiday, and we get to go around to each of them. The other party is just a dancy, fun, popcorny regular party.

Hmmm… it sounds as if ther’s going to be something about Museblog in the Jan. issue… they’ve been hinting abouut i a wee bit…
I agree with the newbie thing. Not all of them are bad, but the blog gets so crowded and the people I really enjoy talking to leave, and when someone leaves the MB and doesn’t come back you never see them again. It’s sad… and I can think of all the people who left that I miss seeing here.

OMGZORZ. Ebeth’s made a metal lapse and has been burdened with a social life for the weekend. Today she didn’t feel like going home so she and jacob went to the park with jacob’s dog. Then they went home and got their bikes and called tory and matt, who came on their bikes. Then we roamed the streets and made up our gang name- “The Penguins of South Snipville” (snipville replaced with the actual name…). Then she agreed to go to tory’s at 11 tomorrow morning and spend the entire day at easton and watch eragon. Then sunday she’s going with parentals to see cats, which she’s wanted to do for ages. Then she’s going to MI and will be part-aying pretty much every night with her MI friends because she’s only going to be there for a week. Then she will go visit relations, then come home and back to skewlios. Oh and she agreed to call danny in florida because apparantly florida’s boring (?) She is off to do something excitingly un-social and nerdy now. Maybe KoL, which she joined and totally ♥s to the max. How can you not love it? Tis amazing. Google it, you’ll see what i mean. Anyhoo, she also has to make a Spamabix calendar for her friend riette. Yeppityyep. Oh, and chappelle gave her a practice AP test to do over break, and doc gave her the latin exam review, and she finished sparticus, the really good movie she was watching in latin, and shattered glass, the good and very depressing movie she was watching in journalism. Not that sparticus wasn’t depressing too…Anyhoo, that’s life.

I actually have class next period, and then I have a movie because my gov’t teacher is not going to be present. I will do my calc HW then. And an Il Divo party in Spanish class. Because we apparently need to be exposed to multi-cultural music that just happens to be sung by four people my teacher finds extremely attractive. Pwnage!

High school placement exams Saturday–chiz moan groan drone. My total NaNo word count was 27,020; CONGRATULATIONS MELPIE! YAY!!! Confetti and virtual choklit for you, man! Twist it!
My father’s shoveling. Heh heh heh heh. It’s the 2nd time he’s had to do it this morning, and I am still astoundingly happy, even though I absolutely hate snow as we all are aware. Hate it. I am still way happy, though; a long weekend, no school, getting to spend the day chatting it up with a bunch of geeky forensic genetic scientists who are a bunch of fun, and I just bought Christmas in Philadelphia online. It’s not like The Philadelphia Story, in case you’re wondering. Different; there’s a columnist who fakes being on a farm for her column, her fiance who’s a rat has a farm, so when her boss comes to check it out she decides to pretend like it’s hers, and there’s a convalescent Army guy who the boss sends to recouperate there, due to stuff, and they have an interesting time faking it. That synopsis made no sense at all, but it’s a complicated movie and a good one. We’re watching Top Hat in Film Study. The pocketpeeks aren’t weird at all. Really. Not.
SNOW DAY!!!!! YAY!!!!! We can’t get out of our driveway! We spent all morning shoveling. And we STILL can’t get out! YAY! I get to stay home ALL DAY!!! except for that hockey game…. well… maybe i won’t go.
10-Good for you. You play a lot of hockey, don’t you? I don’t play or watch–unless it’s Oilers vs. Flames, in which case it is my sacred, solemn, and patriotic duty to observe. Preferably with some good food.
I’m at the lab. The drive here was horrendous; spin offs, accidents, two eighteen-wheelers racing down the one lane, roads literally covered with ice, bits of rod on the road, and did I mention the trucks? The guy in the one in front flipped me off, they were tailgating us and then this one guy in a red Jeep with a conservative bumper sticker. Not a good experience. Ever taken the big highway from Calgary to Banff? Same thing, but faster, less well kept, and a nightmare. Seriously. It was. Totally.
GUESS WHAT?!??!?! IT SNOWED YESTERDAY! It didn’t stick but it WAS SOOOO COOL! Literally.

8/9/10/11/12- *cries* It’s unseasonably warm here. I was warm standig outside waiting for the bus this morning with no jacket. It’s raining now, and while there’s none of the joy of snow, I had to carry my trombone a quarter of the way across the high school to get to my bus, with no umbrella because it would be useless with the angle of the rain and hard to carry, and with my hair constantly flying in my face because of the wind. Not to complain, but I hate global warming.
13- I would get out of the giant pelican’s mouth, run away, and then MuseBlog about it.
SNOW DAY!!
Well, actually, when Mum woke me up to tell me there was a snow day so I could sleep in, there wasn’t any snow, only freezing rain. Our driveway was ice. It was pretty cool. But there’s snow on the ground now, which is nice, because an ice day doesn’t sound nearly as much fun.
We were supposed to get six to twelve inches, but it hasn’t come yet. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Monday…
I just made a basket. I plan to put potpourri in it. Now I want to start my bottle-cap, paw-paw seed and guitar-pick neckalces.
Nonetheless, I’m being far more productive than I would be in school, even if its quarter to three and I haven’t gotten out of my pajamas yet.

SM’s day was really weird.
1. We watched Loose Change in gov’t with the substitute. They didn’t even make their theory so much as thought-provoking let alone semi-convincing. It mostly annoyed me so I did math.

6. Eragon advance tickets are on sale. My “THAT DID NOT HAPPEN IN THE BOOK” friend and I are going. We have been planning on it for literally over a year. Almost like we planned on HP and LOTR and H2G2. Yeah. The book was bad enough. But I cannot help it.
7. I barely use contractions any more, after NaNo. I only used a few in my novel. Hey, wordcount!
8. We only have rain. And much wind. Windwindwind. My hair is weird because of it. Not bad-weird, just weird. I heart this cut.
9. I expect to be dragged into a muddy field this weekend or the next to find a tree. And my dad and I will make fun of my mother and sister the whole time, suggesting getting pine-tree air fresheners instead. It never gets old. It is rather amusing; my father and I are pretty much non-denominational…. my sister and mother are really into their religion, my mother more so than my sister.
10. I think I am going to kill the toner in my HP Color LaserJet 4550 printing out the NaNo winner certificate. Whatever, I should be getting a new one soon. w00t.

In GR we got the most snow days of anyplace. They got just enough snow to get snow days but not enough to require more efficient methods of dealing with it.

I know this is an insanely long post, but it would make me feel happy inside if a few ppl read it. Or even the last half (Yeah, def read the last half!! Then you’ll know why I’m all psyched right now!! ^_^)
So. I just got back from the best skool trip ever.
We left TC at 6:30 Fri morning. We had this cute little tour bus (b/c there were only twenty of us), which Morgan + I called The Short Bus.
The trip down was interesting. See, the first blizzard of the season was coming up from downstate, which was where we were headed. Consequently we ended up driving straight into the storm. For every mile we traveled, I saw another inch of snow next to the road. But we made it there okay.
Once we got there, we went to the opening ceremony, and then watched this play called Fools. It was about a skoolteacher who goes to this remote village, all excited to be teaching, but then finds out that the entire village is cursed w/ stupidity. Uber-hilarious. Haha, the bad guy was called Yousuckavitch. Hehe…
I only ended up going to one workshop, but it was probably one of the best ones: Stage combat. For 2.5 hrs, we pretty much learned how to fake-beat each other up.
After dinner, we watched Bus Stop (I forgot which skools did which plays. All I know is that most of the other troops there were from downstate, and we were kind of like the tiny troop that no one knew about).
Then we went to the hotel. Guess what? They put some of us in smoking rooms! Jeesh, we’re kids! Tch…But we ended up switching rooms, so I was thankful for that. Once we had settled in our room, I noticed this big crack between the mirror + the wall. There was light coming through the crack – when I looked more closely, I found that this was b/c the mirror was actually a sliding door, and if you opened it, the Jacuzzi (in the bathroom) was right behind it! I stuck my hand through the crack, and was like Hey, Morgan, look at the wall above the tub!” (She had just walked into the bathroom) Hahaha…
Later, the guys we had switched rooms w/ kept calling us + hanging up, so Sarah decided to call them back. When they answered, she took her iPod, started playing Bringing Sexy Back, and held the headphones up to the phone. Hehe…
Sarah + I went down to get some snacks later, and this freaky lady came up to me + was like “BLAHdeblahdeblahdeblah!!” I was like “Erm…Excuse me, Ma’am?” Then she was like “BlahdeblahdewearshoesBLAH!” Oh, okay. So she thought I was spreading my toe fungus (JK) everywhere (I was barefoot). Well, Matt was on the stairs, and he’s like “Hey, do you want these?” And then tossed his socks down to me. Eeeeeeew, LOL! =) But still have a bit of tomboy left in me, so I didn’t mind. Aww…
The next morning, when we came down for breakfast, some guys came up to us and were like “Dude, why did you keep calling us?” But they weren’t the guys we were bothering! Yeah, I don’t think anyone slept Fri night…LOL.
We went back to Waterford-Mott High at nine, and watched part of Picnic. During the first intermission, we had to leave to set up for SPAR. We were in one of the gyms, not the auditorium, which kind of sucked – I mean, we didn’t even have a real stage! It was just nine table-type thingies, painted black, w/ a back wall that was a few ft tall. It was funny – Matt jumped up on the “stage,” and immediately, two of the tables seperated, and made this three-inch gape. Ha…Yeah, the stage really did suck. And of course, there wasn’t a “backstage,” either. We just had part of the hallway, and the there were some ppl who just huddled behind the cruddy stage in the gym.
But, nevertheless, WE PWNED!! It was soooo cool – The audience laughed when they were supposed to, no one screwed up…it was great. We totally owned that stupid stage. I felt goode, even in my skimpy Showgirl dress…I usually get really uneasy wearing anything w/ less coverage than a T-shirt, LOL.
I kept my stage makeup on the rest of the day. LOL, I felt like a goth that afternoon – I was wearing my heartagram hoodie w/ black pants, carrying around my pentagram tote, and then I had this crazy eyeliner on as well, and it was all smeary too. But I mean, I doubt anyone thought anything of it. There were a lot of freaks there, LOL (Yeah, I didn’t have to associate w/ any “normal” ppl at all this weekend – It was the best, =).)
Then I did a bunch of nothing between the play and dinner. During dinner, we watched B-nay and Sarah go confess their love to random ppl. It was hi-larious. I’m not really shy, but I don’t think I just go up to someone and “confess my love” to them. Jeesh, I’m still learning the names of everyone else in our group! And regretting waiting until senior year to join…
After dinner, we watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Oh my goode ness. It was fantastic! I esp liked the set – Can’t really explain it, but it was fantastically froody, that set was…When Nurse Ratched got beat up, everyone cheered really loud. Def one of the best plays I’ve ever watched.
Then came awards.
Well, since we were the little troop from Godknowswhere, we weren’t that recognized, so we just watched all the other troops getting their fifty-million awards. Not like I didn’t think we did a goode job – Heck, the fact that we got to go to this thing totally rox, and you know, we really did do okay w/ SPAR. We def did.
So after all the individual awards were given out, Morgan + I were just like “W00t! Letsgetouttahere!”
But then…
They said that two plays had beene invited to go to Nationals.
Two one-acts.
SPAR is a one-act.
The lady said that the first play invited was performed by troop 2203 from TC.
SPAR.
I think everyone just froze in shock for a few seconds. Then the awards lady started talking againe, and we just broke down into cheering/screaming/hugging!! Man, I was sooo happy!! It was FREAKING AMAZING!! WE’VE BEEN INVITED TO NATIONALS!! Zomygawd!!
…There was one other play invited, but I was to spazzed to even see which one it was. I think it’s Cut – one of the ones I didn’t have a chance to see.
I swear, no one slept (Wait – there was one person. Augh, how could she do that, LOL!) on the way home. We stopped at a Shell station, bought a ton of candy and energy drinks, and freaking partied the whole way back!
We made it back to TC at 2 AM this morning. B-nay had this idea about getting every one of us a SPAR program, + having ppl write little sweet-nothings in it. Two guys wrote that I was hot –
– But, LOL, I feel kinda bad, b/c I don’t know who one of them is! Man, I need to learn some freaking names here! 
Fortunately, I didn’t have to go to work today, as I thought I did before. So I slept. Until three this afternoone.

Green opens up the new color season, climbing the charts from its previous position to fourth place. Some believe it will continue to rise. As one senior at St. Anselm’s Abbey School, the most awesome school this side of Cacton, recently said, “Yeah, Green’s a good color; it’s got a lot of potential.”

Red, however, remains at the top of the rankings at the beginning of this season. The season’s rankings are below. (last year’s rankings are in parentheses.)
1.Red(1)
Red continues to be a really great color. There’s not a whole lot more to say about this spectacular color. It goes great with everything, has no injuries, and the schedule makes things look promising. Also it has the advantage of being the school color of the most spectacular school in the universe, St. Anselm’s.
2.Blue(3)
Blue flip-flopped with Navy from the end of last year because of a great off-season. Lots of people are saying that this is “the year” for Blue, but unfortunately refuse to elaborate. Only time will tell.
3.Navy Blue(2)
This ranking will anger Navy. I’m sorry, but I think regular old Blue will have a better season. Navy will have troubl working out a few kinks from the off-season, but it will still be successful anyway.
4.Green(8)
Green was down for a while, but now it’s back and better than ever. It would likely be #1 if it had not been so low last year. If it continues to develop, it should be at the top by the end of the year.
5.Orange(5)
Solid Orange. Always a solid color. It can never get too high in the rankings because people confuse it with its fruit namesake. Regardless, this looks to be another solid season.
6.Yellow(4)
Yellow is displaced from the top five by Green. From what I hear, Yellow is very bitter. Though it opens the season with a chip on its shoulder, I believe it can return to the top five and even continue to rise after that. Someday Yellow will thank me for insulting it now.
7.Black(6)
This could be a dark year for Black,but it also might be the year Black become the dark-horse candidate and rise to the top. Sometimes Black is left in the dark, but often it emerges form the darkness into victory. Who knows?
8.Gray(7)
This will be another boring season for Gray because it’s a boring color. Gray is not to be confused with Grey, who is currently leading the British League.
9.Purple(10)
Ah, the royal color. These are no longer the days of kings and queens, so the color Purple will remain close to the bottom.
10.Brown(9)
It’s Brown. Who likes Brown?(Please, Brown lovers, don’t blog telling me that you like Brown and are offended by this, OK?)

i get $35 a month. I firststarted with $1 a week when i was 5, then $1.50 when i was 6, then $2 hen i was 7, and after that i got a $1 a week raise every birthday then we decided for simplicity to change it to monthly and i get a $5 a month raise every march.

Umm… I get 10 dollars a week, minus whatever my parents decide to deduct. “oh, I found you’re ight on this morning. There goes a dollar.” “I just bought Bandit some new food, so that’s 5 off” and stuff like that. Meh. Plus they find it “easier and more convienient” to pay me only once evry two months in large chunks which I allways manage to blow on books in the first two weeks of having cash. So I’ve taken(sometimes, only when I’m really forcing myself) to shoving a 5 or 10 each time I get paid into the piggybank of no return, which I can’t open without pliers and wouldn’t break. So maybe I’ll end up saving something eventually. Unless I find out I have enough to buy photoshop. Then it’s goodbye money, hello pictures! untill I get banned from the comp, which happens a lot. I am in so much suspense right now. You know that guy I was talking about? Well, Tabby is going out w/ his friend, whom I will refer to as D. Today, I was in this strange mood…just saying everything that popped into my head (Talkytalktalktalk – SQUIRREL!…talkitytalktalktalk – Hey, there’s a spot on the ceiling! How cool is that?), and I ended up telling Tabby that I really, really like this guy. I was kind of nervous for a sec as to how she would react, but she didn’t make a big deal out of it.
After skool, I went to work, and then I went Xmas shopping, so I didn’t get back to mi casa until 9:30. About three min after I walked in the door, Tabby calls me. She said something like “Yeah…Would you ever consider going out w/ J?” Then she told me that…she kind of told D that I liked J…and D is fairly certain that J likes me.
I figure that, since it was D who said this, I should believe it. I mean, guys don’t tell white lies (about who likes who) to make other ppl feel better.
They’re going to talk to him this weekend, and I’ll know by tomorrow evening whether he likes me or not.
So…I guess you can count on me being either off-the-wall happy/hyped, or at rock bottom next time I log on.

So. More about my day. I worked for the first time in two weeks. This lady called the store + wanted to order ten slices of fudge, each boxed individually. Well, when it’s a mail order, we can’t box individual 1/2 lbs; sry, lady. She ranted at me. I sat there + listened, b/c that’s what I’m paid to do. N + I ended up having to pack all of it into this big olde box, and it took us freaking forever to do so (Really. I’m glad no customers decided to come in then, b/c for about 45 min, it was nothing but “Bah humbug!” and “Screw the stupid holidays!” Heh heh. Heh). Then…we figured out that, since we’re using a box this big, we could indeede box the pieces individually, and then put a buttload of packing peanuts in the box, so they wouldn’t get jostled in the mail (“Dude, this lady is going to be like “What the…” when she opens this box!”).
Downtown was sooo pretty tonight! Lots of Xmas lights…and there’s this huge tree on Front St. I got some pix.
After we closed, I went to Annie’s and bought a ton of…completely, utterly random stuff. See, I’ve decided to buy all my friends gag gifts this year (I’m going to try + hit up Spencer’s as well). Haha, I was walking around the store w/ this huge armload of kitschy/gag-gift stuff. It was fun. Then I went to the bookstore to looke at magazines. I found a ton of rock mags… As I dug through the back of the magazine rack, I found one I’ve nvr seene before. It’s an underground goth-type mag called Drop Dead. I’ve skimmed it, + it looks v neat – Has a lot of DIY clothes ideas, which me likes.

Hey Sweet Melpomene! My piano lesson is today too! I’m happy because my teacher gave me a break and let me practise some really pretty christmas music instead of the usual classic, scales, ect. I must have practiced almost twice every day because the music made me so happy!
Do you guys know what the new thing at our is school?! It’s so annoying!! We now have to wear these little stepometer things all day and if we don’t reach 10000 steps by the end of the day we are labled fatties. But how are we supposed to walk around alot if we’re stuck in our desks all day solving math problems, etc.?! It’s stupid! And every morning we also have to record what we’ve eatin for each meal! I call that an invasion on my privacy! I don’t care if it’s a grade!
Though it probubly wouldn’t matter bacause I mostly eat the same thing every day except for at dinner. (a bowl of cereal for breakfast, a ham and cheese sandwhich with fruit for lunch, and a meat, veggie, and salad for dinner)

I LOVE kiwis fruit but we don’t get them very often so they are more of a treat. They are so DELICOUS!
It is extremely funny about the stepometers! Yesterday all the kids were finding ways to cheat on them. The easiest was to just shake them as hard as possible. Another was to stick them on their shoe and tap it all throughout class. The most funniest happened when some computer crazy kid figured out how to wire them. The teachers caught a few of them doing it and they comfiscated them.
Those things are so easy to cheat. We had to do that in gym, except they let us bring them home. Every time i was waiting for something to load on the comp… *shakityshake*
Those things never survey right because everybody cheats them. it amuses me. they’re like “gasp, what? how can it not be right? oh no! aaaach!”

‘Twas the moste illustrious Hippo Fan, of Taiwan that said that. Ebethydoodles also used to have pear trees in her backyard at her old house, although they were small and had yet to produce edible pears by the time she moved away. But they were growing, and her moste illustrious grandma had pear trees just like them growing and giving pears, and she lived in MI as well, just a little farther north and on the east side of the state, not the west.

216, 218, 220 – I sort of exaggerated about the pear tree. We need to get another one before they can pollenate each other and make fruit. And it’s kind of a young tree, not old enough to make fruit that we can eat. But we are going to get another one eventualy!!!! And we do have two peach trees! Even though they, too, are newbies and will not give us edible fruit yet. The only edible stuff we have are tomatoes, rhubarb, peppers, lettuce, and sometimes sour-ish cherries. And wild strawberries, which didn’t do diddly and didn’t give us a single good-tasting berry this year.
My idea for thread ended up at the bottom of November’s last thread, so I’ll post it again: I think we should start a thread where everyone posts under a different (new) name, and pretends to be their alter-ego. We could even take it a step further, and have everyone try to guess who each alter-ego-name actually is…once somebody figured out who you were, if they ever did, you would post under your original other-thread name, and just keep talking and trying to guess who other people really are…if that makes any sense…anyway, what do ya’ll think?

I just made a biography for my father. It’s really cool. There’s a picture of Ann Margret in it, and also a baby picture of my father.
Speaking of baby pictures, we do this thing where the 8th graders bring in baby pics of themselves and then people guess who’s which picture. I have scars on my scalp, so I’m easy to identify, but other people apparently aren’t. I have a picture of myself sitting in an electric hood, laughing, at about six months of age. Oh, and one where I’m riding my great-uncle’s miniature seeing pony.
I am also getting really campsick. And my projects are crawling along slowly.

So…I’m going out with that guy now. He’s really shy. My goal right now is just to make him talk…which I have. We’ve had some pretty weird conversations, but…Well, it seems like things are going okay!
I have had nine absences in the semester. if you have more than nine absences you can’t have activities (pin and ribbon ceremony, 8th grade picnic, magic mountain) and you can’t graduate unless something weird happens and the office doesn’t actually lose your appeal like it always does. The nine absences were due to chicken pox and a DC trip because I can’t go with my school. I just found out I have strep throat and I can’t go to school tomorrow. Not only does this mean that I will fail half my classes because I’m missing finals, I also probably can’t graduate. My mom says it would be selfish of me to go to school and get other kids sick the week before Christmas just so I can graduate. She’s not letting me go to school. I can’t make up any of the finals that I’m missing. At all. So I will do terribly in the classes (as I already said). Also, one of my friends will also fail because her notebook is in my locker (it is due tomorrow) and she doesn’t know my combo. She also loaned me her notebook for another class and need it back ASAP to study for another test, and I can’t get it back to her. I feel like a really bad friend. Could someone send me some virtual choklit? I’m feeling pretty depressed about this.

Righto. So that guy who likes me is always talking to me at the beginning/end of this one class. Which would be fine and all except for the part where his one friend knows about all this and makes weird faces and dances [this kid is seriously messed up, in a spiffy way, but he’s disturbing nonetheless; you can just guess; it’s not more than PG-10ish rated, though. this kid is just weird]. Anyway, the conversations are always really random. Let me see… [my random in brackets and italics] For instance, on Mondyay…

Me: No. It was me trying to make Mon.s less depressing.
Him: That’s pretty much impossible.
Me: Well, I lose, then.
Him: *laughs* Yeah.
Me: Seriously, I slept in this morning. The alarm didn’t work properly. An so I almost missed my bus.
[FYI, it didn’t work properly that morning, for whatever weird reason. Same thing happened yesterday; though I almost miss my bus on quite a few occasions…it was just worse that day…]

Him: I had an appointment on Sat. But I put my alarm on the other side of my room so…yeah…

Anywhoo, I did manage to not speak to anyone other than the teacher in that class… so…yeah, I suppose that works. Don’t know why, though. But wait; there’s more. Two more, actually.
*sigh* And on Tues. while I was walking out of school with a friend of mine [actually, walking to a class roomdiscussing how we should get our lips pierced, in case you wanted to know….our parents did not respond well to that…] he and his one friend [a normal one] were walking toward my friend’s exit from a different direction at the same time, and I, being in the process of exchanging farewells with my friend, did not notice this until his friend indicates me and says very loudly, but jokingly, “There’s your girlfriend.” Of course I realize she wasn’t entirely serious, but I’ve said that to friends of mine who have really liked random people…so…yeah… I promptly went to my classroom.
And just to clarify: I’m probably making him sound like a complete jerk, but he seriously isn’t. He’s really more of a huge nerd, but in a cool way. Seriously, he answers pretty much every question in that class, probably because he’s the only one to ever actually do his hw. He’s actually reallyreallyreally nice too. All the time. I suppose this is just a side effect of my complete lack of social skills [my total socialskills=-.5] The thing is, I volley between liking him too and being completely irritated. And it doesn’t help that I’m ridiculously shy+quiet offline. I can go hours without feeling the need to speak a single word. Meh. Yes, I’m always this confuzzelized.

Well, I’ve been having the weirdest week so far – But weird in a good way!
I swear, about 90% of the ppl I talked to today were guys. This is just kinda weird for me, b/c I’ve nvr really had any guy friends since elem/jr high. Ha…+ then later, I was talking to one of my (girl) friends, and, after a few seconds, realized that I was still talking as if I were talking to a guy. LOL, I’m starting to get vivid images of my tomboy days right now…Haha.
And…things seem to be going (surprisingly!) well w/ J and I…We were talking on the bus this afternoon, and it was seriously like…100 times less awkward than two days ago! And, he’s apparently not afraid of giving me hugs anymore (He actually asked me for one today), LOL. Honestly, I thought I was kind of overwhelming him a bit the other day…We might be going to see Eragon this weekend. A bunch of my friends are coming as well, but it’ll just be fun to be w/ J somewhere besides skool.

Hey, I have a question. Why are some suggestions for threads (such as SM2K’s for an Alter Ego thread) quickly made and others never made? People asked for a culture thread, and it didn’t show up for ages. I asked for a Muser Profile thread, and still, no one has said anything about it. I am in fifth grade and I am almost eleven and a half. Nice guess Em, but no. I wish. We have one ‘Round the World party, in which each fifth grade class is a different winter holiday, and we get to go around to each of them. The other party is just a dancy, fun, popcorny regular party.
My teacher is SO NICE. She lets me go on here at Computer Lab. I convinced her it’s educational.

A thread where MuseBloggers tell other Bloggers things about themselves that they consider obvious, but the bloggers never knew, such as age, grade, looks, hobbies aside from putting off hw and blogging, whether they have pets, their state, birthplace, (don’t worry, not too detailed) birthday, favorite color, and all of that stuff they ask you on get-to-know-you things that we never got around to doing or never thought to do or never wanted to do. Or whatever. Man was that a long sentence.

Oh, man, I just remembered how sad that was. Especially because I didn’t even read it then, and I did just what she said everyone was doing. PPanda told me, and I said something like, “What?” and she said something like, “You didn’t read it?” and I said something like, “Of course not! I don’t read every post! Only the ones with my name in them!” and she said something like, “OMG you have to read every post! It’s like a conversation!” and so she emailed the page to me and I was really sad.

MG left, I believe, because the blog was turning into a madhouse of n00bs (I’m not saying newbies because some of these people deserved the insult) and she missed the general community sense that Musebloggers used to have.
I like the blog right now, since I know almost everybody from before I took my break and I’m not totally clueless. There are some newbies, but they’re cool, MB-ish newbies, and they fit right in already. I kind of want us to stay this way forever, only with more of the oldbies becoming regs again. It just seems like we’re really close and that we trust each other. Is that really selfish of me, or all in my head? Quite possibly.

I agree with the newbie thing. Not all of them are bad, but the blog gets so crowded and the people I really enjoy talking to leave, and when someone leaves the MB and doesn’t come back you never see them again. It’s sad… and I can think of all the people who left that I miss seeing here.

OMGZORZ. Ebeth’s made a metal lapse and has been burdened with a social life for the weekend. Today she didn’t feel like going home so she and jacob went to the park with jacob’s dog. Then they went home and got their bikes and called tory and matt, who came on their bikes. Then we roamed the streets and made up our gang name- “The Penguins of South Snipville” (snipville replaced with the actual name…). Then she agreed to go to tory’s at 11 tomorrow morning and spend the entire day at easton and watch eragon. Then sunday she’s going with parentals to see cats, which she’s wanted to do for ages.
Then she’s going to MI and will be part-aying pretty much every night with her MI friends because she’s only going to be there for a week. Then she will go visit relations, then come home and back to skewlios. Oh and she agreed to call danny in florida because apparantly florida’s boring (?) She is off to do something excitingly un-social and nerdy now. Maybe KoL, which she joined and totally ♥s to the max. How can you not love it? Tis amazing. Google it, you’ll see what i mean. Anyhoo, she also has to make a Spamabix calendar for her friend riette. Yeppityyep. Oh, and chappelle gave her a practice AP test to do over break, and doc gave her the latin exam review, and she finished sparticus, the really good movie she was watching in latin, and shattered glass, the good and very depressing movie she was watching in journalism. Not that sparticus wasn’t depressing too…Anyhoo, that’s life.
