Hmm. I worry the bakers might look askance at the rodents and undermine our good standing in Iknurowlis, and there goes my retirement plan. I guess I must vote for the Gulf of Dornavenk.

The smoke sighted by Blackblogger was a ship manned by hot pink bunnies who attacked us and took us and the Ooei to Pie Island, which is the first of the Pie Isles, and took the logbook and I recovered it just now. Whew! what a long sentence!

On the first of the pie isles. Blackblogger is looking for our ship. No Editors, just hot pink bunnies, and they’re hostile.

in October 28th, 2006 @ 17:04Crew! To the guns! A pierate ship has been sighted to starboard! It appears to be the Skool, the most dreaded vessel afloat since the Queen Rosanne’s Revenge was sunk. Our ship’s doctor crossed bows with its Captain Summercamp once and only lived to tell the tale because of some exploding berries. This will probably be the Black-footed Ferret‘s toughest battle yet… and with the most at stake, with 100 civilians aboard our companion ship.

We launch the jellyboat Flamablamaberry, with me and Ruffled Grouse inside, so that it looks like some of the crew are trying to escape. Since I am the captain, and Summercamp has a personal grudge against Ruffled Grouse, he will probably go after the jellyboat. Meanwhile, Jadestone will maneuver the Black-footed Ferret so that it is broadside on to the pursuing Skool, and Rebecca Lasley will launch a barrage of exploding pies at them. As the Skool founders in the waves, the Flamablamaberry will turn around and use grappling hooks to get aboard, while Jadestone covers us from the deck of the Black-footed Ferret. Summercamp will be forced to surrender if he doesn’t want to sink along with his ship.

Oct. 30. Our plan to capture Summercamp worked, but we were blown off course by a storm which blew us to the south-west several hundred miles. I think it must have been a low-pressure front that split off the Stormbelt and circled down through Navenk. If so, it was a big one, because it blew the Enchilada Steamer along as well. We are now near the coast of Dor. We have only to sail north and we will reach the Yaamlush Strait, and thence west to Qurtv’s Island.

Geeometree: captian of a legendary submarine of incredible firepower
Maath: evil lord of a floating pirate island
there are also rumors of many more sons, one of which is a supposedly invincable usurper called Eljabraa, lord of all thing evil and vile. I coudn’t, however, dig up any information on him or any other sons.~

Llangwichartz patrols the seas east of the Stormbelt in his ship Grammar, waiting for hapless ships damaged by the permanent hurricane, and Whirl d’Studdiz is a nautical nomad, terrorizing merchant ships and coastal towns.

Crewed entirely by hot pink bunnies and outfitted with both steam(for long-haul travel) and sail(for silent approach), its fearsome arsenal will include cabbage pot pies, exploding pastry and massive coconut creams. With all the swimming HPBs working on it at top speed, we will probably get it finished by tomorrow, but if we don’t, I will take my beloved ship, the Black-footed Ferret, out against the pierates instead.

all right, here’s the plan:
the Enchilada Steamer will sail up to the enemy ship, and the Rubatubtub will hide behind it. just before the Enchilada is in range, we will pull out in front and broadside the enemy. my MPSer will snipe out Whirl D’Studdiz, dazing him so that the crew will be confused, giving us time to nail’em with the fore GPL. by the time they recover, kiwimuncher will be finished with the cabbage cannons. obviusly when see that they’re secret weakness has been discovered they will flee!

The Ferret will approach first, and when the Skool turns to battle her, the Star will sail out from behind Kurl Point and let loose a full broadside of cabbage grapeshot onto the deck. The crew of the Ferret will then leap on board, after taking out the masts and rudder with explosive pies, and subdue any pierates that remain.

Amburrel Kand seems very helpful. I am teaching him all I know, which isn’t very much, really. But it’s better than nothing. The aquatic life is just amazing here! Kand has taken to diving down and providing me with samples of seaweed that may have medicinal properties. It is a very interesting study.

The Zommer Vaycayshun and the Black-footed Ferret, both ships in my fleet, are reliable and comfortable. The crew is experienced, and you probably will be too after you know the ropes. As Second Mate, you would be second-in command to Fluffy (my first mate) and substitute for him when he’s not there. You would also probably be in charge of expeditions in the jellyboats or on land. As Navigator, you would be in charge of the maps and charts. In either position, you would get a spacious cabin with furnishings of your choice and three excellent meals a day- Lady Bunniful is a good cook. Please join my crew.

The scuba diving party is a success so far. I’ve seen hundreds of brilliantly colored tropical fish, but the most notable was a rare Spotted Aquamarine Squeaker. It swam around my head for almost a minute before zipping off when a shoal of Luminovorax Jellies hove into view. I got out of the water quickly. Nobody wants to mess with Luminovorax Jellies.
After a snack of delicious sausage balls, I went back into the water to look at some odd shadows that were coming towards the reef. They turned out to be Greater Spiked Dugongs, who nosed around the coral and nibbled on luminescent maroon seaweed. One of them, an old male, had some fishing line entangled on his shoulder spikes. I swam closer to see that a green glass bottle was tied to one end of the fishing line. I managed to get the bottle off, but the dugong spun around and blew a stream of air bubbles at me. I knew that Greater Spiked Dugongs do that when they are about to attack (normally they are very peaceful animals, but many a careless diver has found out that the spines aren’t just for show when he got too close to the herd), so I went up to the surface.
When I uncorked the bottle, I found a scrap of parchment inside, which bore this message.
