If you’re new on the blog, please stop by this thread and say pie — er, hi
We recommend that newcomers (that’s what “neophytes” means) look over The Rules and The HG2MB (Hitchhiker’s Guide to MuseBlog).
Next, if you’re so minded, stop by Who’s Here (see the menu at the top of your screen) and announce your arrival in a comment there, so we’ll be sure to add you to the official list.
MuseBlog Veterans: Please use this thread only to welcome newcomers as they arrive and answer questions that they ask.
Hi all, I’m Holly, and I am deathly afraid of the acursed hot pink bunnies, for a friend has filled me in on their evilness. (Thanks, Fireh!) I am a neophyte, I enjoy all pie, especially cherry so “HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT”. I absolutely love the Beatles, Snapple, Pink stuff (besides bunnies), chibis, and books. I can be a bit of a drama queen, but that’s ok. I’ll hold it in a little. SO anyway, hiyas, and please commence the pieing! *opens mouth wide* :O
Welcome, Hollywood!
It seems like you’ve got a pretty good grip on everything, so I’m sure you’ll feel right at home!
By the way, in case we’re supposed to be introducing ourselves, I’m starr. (Formerly Soccer starr, although I don’t think that matters much.) I can be a bit of a drama queen too!
Heya, Holly! Fireh told me about you! Welcome!

I’m a drama queen too! And I love chibis~~ Ooh, and you watch Princess Tutu, right? I’m the hugest Fakir-fangirl EVER.
Holladolla! You’ve got Internet access back? Yay~

Wait, did I really manage to convince you of the eville intent of all hot pinke bunnies? Yes! *high fives self*
Anyway. Welcome, Hollywood191, and I find your auto-assigned gravatar very fitting. It’s pink.
Welcome!! I am bluefire27, resident weirdo/science fiction writer/person-who-wants-to-design-video-games-when-they-grow-up.
And this is my wung* Drake: (-_-)
Now, be polite and say hello.
*For more on wungs, see the Wungs thread, parts one and two.
BEATLES! I love you already.
I’m Pseudonym, one of the resident Beatlemaniacs and members of the George Harrison cult.
Hello, and welcome.
I am another one of those resident Beatlemaniacs, and one of the other members of the George Harrison-worshiping cult.
Waitasecond Holly… your avatar has BUCK TEETH…

Oh, and belated welcome
Hiya, Holly!!!! Here come the bunnies with pies!!!
I am LBK, resident exclamation mark and RPG person!!!!!!!!!!!
Helloooooo Holly! (That’s one of my favourite names.) Welcome to the ‘blog! *congratulates Fireh for recruiting another member* Anyway! i’m Silver Lining/Silver Keiffer (ask Fireh), one of the many resident poets and Beatlemaniacs. Which album/song/Beatle is your favourite?
Have some pie!

Welcome to MB, Holly!
I’m one of the resident lurkers… although I do post every so often.
Make yourself at home!
Greetings, newbie! So nice to see you’ve been so very well-informed!
I am bubbles, resident medium format photography maniac, (observe the toyish camera) Percy Jackson fan, (of the books, mind you) Harry Potter worshipper (I have an entire shelf in my bookcase dedicated to all seven books and my gazillion guidebooks, not to mention The Tales of Beedle The Bard and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, along with Quidditch Through the Ages) and I visit MB in a very sporadic fashion, but I think I’ll manage to stay around for my birthday this week.
Ah, well. I suppose I’ll have to conform to the normal neophyte greeting fashion.
Hello, Holly! Nice to see you’re well informed.
I’m CTN, resident mad artist and (sometimes) random poet.
Good job, Fireh!
*
Titanite pies with best shot*
*is proud*
You have a right to be.
Welcome Holly! (*Loves that name too*)
(I hope the HPB doesn’t freak you out XD) I’m a Neophyte too! *Gives Fireh a hug of congratulations* *Pies, Pies and CHERRY Pies*
Why, hello there Atan’tsyal! Welcome to the blog!
)
I’m just wondering- are you a boy or a girl? (sorry, but I can’t tell from your name…
That’s Deathbringer, with a different name, because her parents, how did she put it, FLIPED when they found out about her name.
Welcome, Holly and Atan’tsyal!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
I’m also new, and don’t try to attack me with any pies, I have one of those pie-proof umbrellas.
Pie-proof umbrella, or no, we’re obligated to send welcome pies flying your way. It would be horribly rude of us not to….

Hi! Do you have bunny-proof umbrellas? No? MWUAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Welcome! Don’t worry, the pies aren’t intended to hurt you!
*gives pies*
Welcome! The pies are more of a friendly greeting. ‘Course, if you want to test that umbrella, I have a shiny new pie cannon I’m itching to use…
Welcome! *hands pies* Those are for eating, not for throwing!

Greetings. I believe I know you.
Welcome!
Hope you enjoy the ‘blog! If you’ve got any questions, feel free to ask them!
(Hmm…two new neophytes in two days? Wow!
)
Well, welcome!
*pies Titanite pies anyways*
I’m not as Neophyteish as Holly and Optimatum…. I came here like a month ago… I was formally Deathbringer… So, I’m still a Neophyte but I’m not SUPER new XP
Hello. Welome. *pies*
Well… welcome anyways. I wasn’t ‘back’ when you first came, so some belated pies for you!
How do I make an avatar?
Go to gravatardotcom and create an account. All you need is a legit e-mail address (The same one you’ll enter in the “E-mail” field on this site) and it doesn’t take very long. Then you can choose an avatar, either by finding one on the Internet or downloading your own picture. Just remember that you’re not allowed to use inappropriate pictures or human faces, because the GAPAs (Great And Powerful Administrators) don’t know whether that face is you or the kid next door or what. Some people might get special permission, but it’s not suggested. Check out The Rules and the HG2G for more information.
Or, you could always stick with the avatar you have, (Some people do) but you probably don’t really want the avatar you got.
Some of them are really fun.
Happy Blogging!
*That would be the HG2MB, not the HG2G.
Well, you shold check that too.
10-Don’t worry, we remember you!
11- There is no official policy on how to make one, but the most frequently used way to to go to gravatar (just google it) and make one there. Don’t worry, it’s free and you only need to give them your email. If you use the same email address, your avatar will show up here.
Actually, you have to go to gravatar, because the avatars here are determined by gravatar. (At least, I think.)
Optimatum- The only policies I can think of right now for what you can have in an avatar is it can’t show your face, (or, obviously, your address or full name or anything like that) (actually, that’s not a policy, just an inference, so I guess it’s a policy, but whatever) and it can’t be explicit (again, that’s an inference. I think.)
Theoretically, I suppose you could find another site to make your avatar. By official policy, I meant that you are not obliged to go there, even though most people do.
Come on, hit me with your best shot! Fire awaaaaay!
Yeah, Holly! Welcome to the blog, where you can fling, throw, hurl and chuck various pies, custards, toads, bunnies, danishes, scones, wedding cakes and assorted pastries at a variety of people and not get yelled at to shut up. Snapple’s snaps, the Beatles beat (one, two, three, four!) and the Bunnies bunnify. So, well, you picked good thing to like. I’d reccomend a smoothie of many flavors, slightly chunky, consisting of:
Blueberries, raspberries, Acai berries, pineapple and banana, with a dash of whipped cream and a cherry on top. *whew*
You’ll be just fine, as long as you obey THE RULES (boy, I made them sound important!) and read the HG2MB, which is VERY, VERY important. Of course, you’ve probably already read it
Go here and I’ll show you how to do HTML, if you want.
SFTDP, but I’d like to agree with SL and the others and say Holly is definitely an awesome name.
By the way, Holly, having your first post be the first post is very, very, very good luck.
Phyties already!! Mwahahaha!
Welcome Holly and Optimatum!
Welcome Optimatum
I just realized I forgot to pie you and promptly forgot you. So that’s why we pie (does anyone remember what I’m talking about? Probably not).
Eeerm…so, why DO we pie, Bookie? *splats bookgirl* Oh, yes. Fun. *yaaawn*
Um, a Bookie is someone who takes down bets, like at a horse race. I doubt bookgirl_me would like to be referred to as one…
What if she is a bookie? Also, CHESS.
Aaakk. Cake. Sorry, Bookgirl! Aaaaaa[phlegm]hem!
Nope… I don’t…
Welcome neophytes! I am new too, but less neophytish than Atan ‘tysal. I also happen to be MuseBlog’s resident emo.
How do you make italics and bold print (on a Mac, if that makes a difference)?
(angle bracket) i (angle bracket) text in italics (angle bracket) /i (angle bracket), and (angle bracket) b (angle bracket) text in bold (angle bracket) /b (angle bracket). Angle brackets are > and <, except reversed.
This is a question for the HTML and Typographical Tricks thread, not this one. Also, the answer can be found in the section of the HG2MB.
“MuseBlog Veterans: Please use this thread only to welcome newcomers as they arrive and answer questions that they ask. ” There’s nothing wrong with a ‘phyte asking a HTML question on this thread.
Except that Radiant_Darkness is not a newcomer. En first posted on December 19th.
(GAPAs, Radiant_Darkness is not on the Who’s Here page, just so you know.
So noted, and now recorded.
Actually, since I have absolutely no idea about most of the things people talk about on MuseBlog, and have posted on only 3 or 4 threads, I would say I am neophyte.
Yes. Just ignore some of the bickering. Don’t worry, you fit in fine- I’ll abstain from arguing about the endless duration of ‘phytehood question and just say that you can come here and ask questions anytime.
Hey guys, I’m back. I haven’t been here for awhile. I was bored so I just thought why not get on MB.
“MuseBlog: Bringing bored people together since 2005.”
SFTDP
GAPAS, will you please email me my password I forgot it. I’m back for awhile now. I had to leave for personal reasons and never had time to get on.
Mas0n! Hi!
In fact, I was wondering where you had gone just yesterday.
The “lost password” option on the login form will send you a new one if you ask. (We don’t know your passwords.)
Thank you.
Hi! Nice to “see” you! We missed you on the Demigod RPG. It’s sort of falling apart now though, although people are still posting.
Oh yeah, I need to get back on that thread.
Me llamo Queso
Como estas?
LBK-That was my friend Cheese. She says hi.
Welcome

Hola, Queso. Es usted un neophyte? Bienvenido, si usted es. Yo no hablos espanol. Sino es divertido. Tal vez que desea escribir en la Coy Woodnesse thread. Hola tambien, LBK.
Sorry to post this on this thread, but we really need a new random thread because my computer won’t load the almost 1,000 posts.
Hi, HI. Welcome to the blawg.
Hey, mas0n, what kind of computer are you using? I haven’t seen you around…what really gets me though, is that the comment-counter counts the whole-number comments and the replies, but the actual number of posts, when you go on the thread, is way less. For example, if you look on the main blog page, and look at the Newcomer’s Thread (this one) it says, like, 65 comments. But my post number is 25! Arrgh, it’s enough to drive a rock insane. And, yes, agreed. A new random thread is i order.
There already is a new random thread…isn’t there? Or am I just confused?
Random Thread: Strange New World, Part 2: https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=6214#comment-360928
Oh, cake. Wait, what? But there was already a new random thread before mas0n arrived…so, uh, if her computer thinks there’s over 1000 comments, then, uh, What The Cake.
Is mas0n not a him?
Mason is a boy, I believe. I’m 99% sure of that.
Since only men are permitted to be Masons, I’d have to agree.
Well, whoops-a-daisy, then. Excuuuuse me.
“If en’s computer thinks there’s over 1000 comments, then, uh, What The Cake.”
I have a friend, that is a girl, (not to be confused with a “girlfriend”) that is called Mason. *fails to see sarcasm* *sees sarcasm* *dies*
I’m trying to get two of my friends to come here and there is a very good chance that they might. I think they will fit in-er I mean, stand out-wait, I mean…whichever one is better, very well.
