Greetings from the Northwestern Crust!
I’m a pacifist (like pretty much every one else-hence the name) and I’m here in my little country. My exports are : Chocolate, strawberries, granola, Organic yoghurt, Donuts, Acai berries, quinoa and Asparagus, as well as assorted other earth fruits, teas and vegetables. I live in a treehouse that is basically an old-style colonial in a HUGE tree. Avenger toad is here- he helps me by croaking at intruders. He can sound remarkably like a machine gun when he tries.
Anyhoo, feel free to stop by for some tea and…donuts, I guess. I’m willing to trade any of my produce.
I am declaring my own country. It’s bordering ötzi’s to the south. It’s called the kingdom of Atok. the official language (it’s also the name of the nationality) is toidi. Wow, I’m vindictive. If you couldn’t tell. I’m not actually a toidi, but all of the toidis worship me. especially the head toidi, who’s name is Koatrack. did I mention I’m vindictive? We export musical instruments, soccer balls, fashionable clothing, and twizzlers. Toidis have asiatic features with high cheekbones and slighlty large ears. I am so vindictive.

and, anyone who hasn’t been to one of these threads recently, we are in a game of Soccopelli, which is a game kind of like soccer, only you can throw pies at your opponents to blind/annoy them. The game goes until one team has three points. The teams consist of 2 players each, or more of you want to organize your own team, but you have to wait for our game to be over, then someone else wanted to play… Trukai, maybe??? then you can start a game. other PPP business may go on, moves in the game are set apart by three x’s before and after each move. before you plan a team, read the plans and rules we made on the last thread. It’s REALLY fun!!!

I would like to have the country of Kyvek, and this is my description of the island of Pherthing, one of the many islands. sorry if it is too long. you may ignore if you want.
The island of Pherthing has, again, extremely varying terrain. In the very center of the island there is a volcanic crater. Seemingly barren from ground level, it does contain a rare type of vegetation, called Hoyx. This particular plant gets its nourishment from the air surrounding it. It actually floats, though it has long hanging roots that occasionally tough the ground. In its younger state, it is edible. The different species produce a great variety of fruits. There is one that produces the very sweet berry, Wolk, which is shaped like a star but has odd little balls at each point.
In its mature state, the leaves turn from a jungle green to a scarlet red. The berries turn poisonous and the funny balls, which are actually the flower of the tree, turn inside out and encompass large needle-like thorns. There is other vegetation, such as Lowen, which are similar to strawberry plants and produce virtually the same fruit; Jotey, which has poisonous leaves but delicious fruit that is a cross between lemons and pears; Gophion, which are an innocent looking golden apple fruit which is fatal to humans; lastly, there is Kinkow, which is the most delectable of them all. The fruits are huge, about the size of a prize watermelon. Its seeds taste like honey and the fleshy insides have a sour-sweet taste, like lemonade.
The crater is surrounded by mountainous desert. It gets approximately twelve inches of rain per year, making it the wettest desert on the planet. The plant life on the mountains is virtually nonexistent. Roughly every three miles there are small patches of undergrowth. It is dry and brittle, so they crunch underfoot. It is called Ximorge and can be found in a slightly less dry state elsewhere on the island. The mountainous desert lasts for about twenty miles each direction around the crater.
Just past the line of desert, there is a huge ocean. There resides a known 64 “serpentsâ€. They look like what you would imagine the loch ness monster to be, and they have huge tails. In fact, there are often giant waves caused by the monsters’ tussle while untangling their tails. These waves cause huge ripples in the desert sand and cause the desert nearest the sea to be somewhat like quicksand.
If you were to travel across the ocean you would find another island that is almost completely devoid of life. Except for the singular giant roc that lives there, nothing else exists. It feasts on the sea serpents, and occasionally makes the long flight to other islands to sample the different animals that reside over the seas. You should be quite wary when traveling across that sea’s treacherous waves.
There is a rainforest bordering the ocean and the desert. It has some monkey-like life forms that are quite, shall we say, temperamental. The species is named Pyrgiax Nymfoid. They happen to attack any other human or animal that walks into their territory. Unfortunately, their territory includes most of the rainforest. They do not inhabit the outermost ten miles around the rainforest, where animals that happen to be similar to bunnies live. The bunnies are called Rabinq, somewhat similar to their Earth name. They are a fashionable pink, and blend in easily with the vivid magenta, fuchsia, and scarlet colored shrubbery around the edge of the rainforest. Deeper in the forest the colors get less vivid and more, shall we say, earthlike.
If you have every heard of an okapi, then there are some of these that live here too. Okapis are the only existing relatives of giraffes, though they look more like a horse. Their back half is black and white striped and their front half if brown. The Kyvekian version of an okapi is much the same. Mainly, the Kyvekian species are a dark blue and dusty orange striped on their back half. They have an orange head that gradually fades into blue. They eat the pink bunnies, and are eaten by the monkeys when the stray into their territory (they’re not that smart).
Of course, if we were even to begin to describe the different varieties of bugs, you would be totally overwhelmed. Most bugs look similar to their Earth relatives. Some such are ones that look like dung beetles, worms, goliath beetles, butterflies, fireflies, and centipedes. Unlike their Earthly comrades, these are much, much, bigger than the ones on earth. These bugs can be hundreds of times bigger than they are here. The gigantic beetles are edible, yet they are extremely hard to kill. The beautifully enlarged butterflies are deadly if their wings hit you or if they swarm around a person. Do not be afraid though, for they live only in the Gorge a la Mort (the Valley of Death).
Located just to the right of the rainforest, the Gorge a la Mort is a ten mile deep depth, filled with the giant bugs and sharp, pointy rocks. They had formed like stalactites and stalagmites, yet they formed on the sides of the valley. They make for a nearly impossible way down the valley. Though the valley is wide, there is another variety of Hoyx that grows across the valley, making a natural bridge which you can cross, only very, very, carefully.

Okay, I want to create a country.
My country is known as Taruva. The native language is Karaqa (Kah-rah-kwa). Our exports are peanuts, firewood, and peppermint candies. (We have more, but those are the main ones)

My country is called Zemtee (zem-ti) and is populated with Red-tailed HAWKs (gosh! I wonder why…) I am the ruler of the country (really? That’s funny…) and we have our own spaceships that we use to patrol the galaxy (galaxy #92651/a) I sent in a map of Zemtee to the GAPAs several weeks ago, but maybe they didn’t get it.

Addition- The country of Kyvek is populated by the animals mentioned in the above description and humanoid creatures that speak a language deigned Reulew. They can walk, but are not as tall as humans, averaging 4 feet tall for both men and women. Most Reulew can get by in English and have a high aptitude for learning and learn quickly. They inhabit the volcanic part of the island. The exports are jotey, hoyx, and Treyon ( a kind of very flexible and sturdy wood used for making ships).
Wingnut and his small band are currently in orbit around PPP in a medium sized ship. We are ready to called into service for any need of anyone that may arise anywhere. Even the trivial ones.

I have finally returned to my country (created in the first thread) and have cleaned it up a bit. The amusement park is ready to go, as is the hotel, swimming pools, ExploraSubs, etc.
AquaPie is basically the vacation country. It is located on the bottom of the sea. The entire bottom, actually. It is encased in a huge dome.
GAPA’s, can you post a link to post 15 on the first PPP thread. I’m not sure quite how, and it might help the newbies out a bit.

If so, I would like to create “Zemtee” which trades paperclips (for making proton accelerators) fudge squares, and a very valuble gem called opalgo, sort of like opals, but VERY blue (i. e. the “go” for “indigo”) If you wish to trade or become an ally of my forming United Muations (UM), please let me know. I have a large army, and becoming a friend of my nation could protect your country.

I think PPP is fine how it is. as always there were a lot of people at the beginning of this thread and it got a bit complicated, but as always they mstly disappeared when it sunk to page 2 and we’ll never see them again till the beginnning of part 6. I think we’re doing just fine as we are.
so I think that ppp is fine as is and we don’t have money in feather becuse it lead to war, we all just trade.

I know that my country is flourishing. It has its own soccopelli team, the Chococarrots, and it has a thriving trade with Elizabeth’s country. The M&M Marsh Grove in particular is doing well.
One thing I don’t like about PPP is that there is so little to actually do. One thing I like, however, is that you can trade between countries. It’s very convenient, broadening and fun.
A dramatic discovery took place today in the Popsicle Peak Grove Observatory. A new moon of Pie has been discovered! It is about half the size of Pie, and covered in a mysterious, phosphorescent cloud layer. The reason it has never been discovered before is its highly eccentric orbit, which takes it far away from Pie at one point, and very close at another. It is currently very close, and should be visible from all the Groves. I propose a party of five or six, made up of pwners and/or citizens, to go and explore this new moon, which has been named Cryptus by its discoverer.

I think PPP is ok the way it is, but it was a little confusing at the beginning. we don’t really trade very much, and we probably should, I just forget that, for example, I haven’t bought any fudge from Oob in months but I am still somehow producing chocolate milk and other chocolate stuff, so I’ll talk to Oob about that… maybe we’d trade more if someone could keep a “products available for trade” list like the list that is on the religions thread, just so we can all see everything that is available in a short, consice form. otherwise, I think we’re fine, other than that we’ll probably be on the tenth page or something before we need a new thread, oh well

Scripsquirrs look like flying squirrels with long, feathery tails. Their “wings” look like parchment covered in tiny, illegible writing. They are like parrots (they repeat things they hear) only more intelligent. Many of them have a fondness for wise quotes.

Taruva is in pretty good condition. We are still trading, mostly in peppermints, but we also have peanuts and firewood. Also, we are in the process of building a schoolhouse that we hope will attract people to the island. Also, Taruva specializes in foods, especially candy and sugary sweets. Also, I forgot to add this to my last post, but I have some comments on the state of PPP. The main problem seems to be that everybody is much more interested in creating cities than living in an already existing one. Maybe we could make it so that everybody can have a character in more than one city (like their alter ego). For example, I could have a character in Taruva and one in the Snow Cap mountains. Does anybody think this idea makes sense?

Now that I look at it, that price seems a little high… but scripsquirrs are great for pets, message carriers and advertising campaigns, because they can memorize passages and repeat them on a cue, so if you sold them in the Snow Cap Islands you would make your money back easily.

We can take our own country on PPP? Okay I take the Land of the Living Pies the language is Piish (PIE-ish) and is magical. To speak it you need a Pie Enchantment which allows to turn into a pie (you choose the flavor before being enchanted) and speak Piish. If you don’t speak it it sounds like the word pie repeated if you do it sounds like your native toungue. I share rule with the King Pie, whose name is Pie. OOOOOOOooooooopssssss… It’s a Piish name.

I will be hosting a party at my mansion on Blister Moon for a Re-Entry Into My House Ceremony. As some of you guys(and girls) know, I have been on vacation traveling around the PPP and selling my goods.The c eremony lasts two days and two nights, and everyone on the PP is invited to attend. 244- Agrrfishi, you said on the Pie Isle thread that you have a scripsquirr. Where did you get him? They’re only native to the Tupisodaloric Groves, and I haven’t traded with you yet.

250- The sugar puff balls and cream soda are excellent. I have researched the libraries of the Lore Mountains and found that if a sugar puff ball is soaked in cream soda, it will crystallize. If the resulting crystalline puff ball is hollowed out, it will float above the ground, and can be raised or lowered by applying electric currents. Attach a small fudgium engine, and you have a clean, powerful vehicle that can go up to 500 mph. I have done that to the sugar puffs you provided, used the excess crystal to make lenses for the observatory, and distributed the cream soda in stores.

Hum. By the way… I will help stop pie wars that no one likes with King Piedeeheehee’s court wizard, Piezard. He will use magic wands to build up a stockpile of pies for our army by summoning any pies that are thrown in a pie war. I also rename my country Pielllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnddddddddddd, and King Piedeeheehee now has full rule. I don’t share it anymore.
