Rebecca didn’t have time to write captions before she went to bed, but this was the initial rendezvous on the morning of
SeptemberAugust 10. (I wasn’t there; from the bookstore, they trooped up to the building where I work.)Note
TwilightMidnight Fiddler’s amazing pie-shaped purse, with its visually punning “pied type” decorations. We’ll have to coax her into posting a pattern for it on the blog.Who’s who? Julieb/Sobriquet has very curly hair.
She looks absolutely nothing like I imagined her. In fact, so completely unlike I imagined her that it’s hard to believe. Very nice hair, though!
Midnight Fiddler, on the other hand, looks almost exactly like I imagined her.
But I really have no idea about anyone else. This is ridiculous. I’ve even seen pictures of Pan and THF, I should be able to tell them at least!
Glassboro has long hair, no? Is he the person in the far left of the second picture?
1- Twilight Fiddler? Has she changed her name?
Oops. I must have been thinking about her and Twilight Rain at the same time — odd, because they’re very different people.
THF and Purple Panda are the ones inspecting the video camera.
4- Seriously? I could have guessed THF, but Pan looks like she’s eleven! *is utterly weirded out*
I have long hair… Yes. It’s nice to see people again, I’d forgotten what they looked like.
That pie purse is amazing. I am in awe. I sorta wish I could have gone. One day, perhaps…
The Muse Academy shirt in the second photo is being worn by Rosanne. Rebecca isn’t in these photos, because she took them.
Hey Fiddler, how did you make that pie purse?
An anonymous thing wants to know.
5 (Alice) – Eleven? I’m *fifteen.* I guess I could pass as 12 or so, but 11’s even younger than THF! Oh well.
FIRST PICTURE: I’m the one with braided hair and Muse Academy shirt on the far left of the 1st picture. (The far right is Curious and Questioning, and the middle is Capricious)
SECOND PICTURE: Curly hair is Sobriqet, braded hair on the right is Midnight Fiddler (you can only see the bck of her head) Glassboro is at the far left (blondish long hair), then comes Red-tailed HAWK’s mom and dad, then him (wearing signatures shirt), then Rosanne, and Taiwan Hippo Fan sitting down.
THIRD PICTURE: Taiwan Hippo Fan on the left holding the video camera, Purple Panda (me) on the right.
FOURTH PICTURE: Sobriquet, C&Q, Cappy, Lady Visala of Reverie. (That’s in order, from left to right. Visala is on the far right).
FIFTH PICTURE: Shadowkat (wearing signature shirt)
SIXTH/SEVENTH PICTURE: Midnight Fiddler and her flamablamablous pie purse
EIGHTH PICTURE: (Sorry, I don’t know some of these people) From bottom to top: Shadowkat’s brother is wearing the blue shirt, 2 dads (sorry, I’m not sure who they belong to), THF wearing white shirt, Purple Panda and THF’s mom wearing white shirt and blue-ish pants, Sobriquet, Lady Visala, Glassboro, Capricious (wearing blue), Purple Panda, Midnight Fiddler (covering her face), Red-tailed HAWK, Rt-H’s parents, and random B&N people.
I’ve identified everyone but Shadowkat, c+q, and Lady Visala. And Capricious, but she just *might* be the girl in the blue shirt. But I really don’t know.
Oh god, I’m smiling really strangely. Oh well. Yes, I am the one with the curls. I’m also wearing a “Mostly Harmless” shirt and carrying a gigantic “Bo Knows” bag, but you can’t tell from these pictures.
Alice-That’s ok, I still picture you as the Disney Alice from Alice in Wonderland. I try not to, but I do anyway. Thank you. Shadowkat is the one in the fifth picture (on the right) by herself, wearing a signature shirt. Capricious, I believe (and I totally hope I don’t screw this up) is the one in blue, and c+q (again, sorry if I get this wrong) is on the far right of the first picture. Lady Visala is wearing the “Resistance is Museless” HPB shirt in the third picture. I’m petrified of mis-identifying anyone and am completely sorry if I have.
1 (Robert) – I think you mean August 10th, not September 10th.
Thanks for putting up the pictures, they’re great!!
10- I KNOW you’re fifteen! You ACT fifteen! But the pictures make you look really young. Only these ones, oddly enough. In the other picture I saw of you, you looked the proper age.
But bear in mind, I’m really bad at guessing ages. Sometimes I can’t even tell a small grown-up from a kid!
My natural guesses proved to be correct, though Shadowkat gives me nearly as much of a shock as Julieb. I expected her to look different, somehow…
(13) Yes, August. Washington is bearable in September. I’d probably better go to bed before I make any more mistakes.
Rebecca posted these photos.
12- Seriously? I look like the Disney Alice? That’s really funny! *is trying very hard not to laugh* I don’t mind, though. I haven’t even seen that movie.
I think if I were to pick an Alice illustration that looked the most like me out of all I’d seen, it would be Arthur Rackham’s Alice. Though that might be wishful thinking.
Off topic? Maybe. Slightly more on topic: I can hardly wait until next summer.
whee…!
pictures!
wheee!!!
… yes DC is boiling hot in August. I’ve relatives who live there and when I visit in August I boil. But actually, I get used to it quickly. Yup.
12- You were right.
Sweet.
Still wishes she was there. Sigh.
And I could at least have been closish to there earlier in the summer, I was in PA. GRRRR
Purple Panda looks fifteen to me. THF looks about eleven though.
I guess in pictures age is hard to tell – I don’t really see eleven, but I guess that’s because I know what I look like in pictures. *ponders*
Wow, it’s so weird to see everyone’s pictures! I expected RTH to be “louder looking”. It’s funny to hear Purple Panda&THF’s voices in Musecasts now and be able to picture them talking, but i think I’ve seen pictures of them before. And I thought Julieb/Sobriquet had straight, brown hair! Perhaps she reminds me of a friend with the same name.:)
11- I’m the girl in the blue shirt and HPB hat with glasses, shorts and weird knees.
I’m in the middle and my arms are spread out strangely in the first picture.
If anyone watches Foster’s home for imaginary friends, the character on by shirt is Blooregard Q. Kazoo.
I’m on the far right in the first picture, looking absolutely horrible (also slightly awkward), and I’m in the fourth picture down, in the middle, with my duct tape purse. That one’s OK-ish. I’m also just barely visible in the last picture, below Capricious (in blue, easy to spot) and above Glassboro. I think I’m reacting to something Capricious is saying, but it’s hard to tell. Which is basically what Purple Panda said (10). This brings back memories.
Hey all! I’m back for tonight only, then I have to endure 4 more days away from the computer, *sigh*
Anyway, thanks GAPAs for posting these!!!! Yeah, I look like an idiot in all thes pictures, ugh. It does bring back memories though. what a great time, I loved it, I’m still talking about it to anyone who’ll listen. (Not too many, by this point, mind you.)
I was so surprised when Glassboro had long hair, although for some reason I always pictured him with long hair. Bizzare.
23~ My knees are weirder, beleive me, I never wear shorts, precicely for that reason….
The pie shaped purse: As I’ve said before, I told my Mom what I wanted it to look like and she figured out how to do it.
It was made of felt, and the “filling” was just a round piece that I drew o with sharpies. The “crust” was a long wavy strip that we sewed to the filling, while tucking the woven stripes into it. Then we did the edges of the pan, sewing them to the crust and filling. Then sew the bottom of the pan to the edges of the pan. The opening was a cut into the bottom of the pan, and a gap in where the edges of the pan met.
I hope this all makes sense, but the pics are pretty good, so you should be able to figure it out if you want to!! Robert said we should sell them on the Musery loves Company. [|}
Oh, and the design, in hand set type, if you drop a tray of letters it’s called “pie” since there is no other word horrible enough for it, thus the letters all over the “filling” of my pie. Semi abstract.
Eh…I look really fat in that picture…blaaaahhhhhhh. Oh well.
when are we going to get the pictures from the 15th?
23- My sister noted that (about the shirt).
I want to be at the next one. Seems like you guys had an amazing time! You all are so gorgeous, too. ;D c&q and I are talking about trying to organise one farther north at some point.
Cool pictures!!!!
It was so much fun. Looking at the pictures brings back a bunch of memories…..
Finally had some time to work on photos tonight and will post more tomorrow.
They’re great. The escalator picture is funny, it was a big group!!
Why were you covering your eyes? Are you afraid of escalators?
No, afraid of cameras, and people that carry them!! I like escalators.
Aha. I assumed you weren’t afraid of bookstores.
NO!!!!! NEVER!! I LOVE THE BOOKSTORE!
Actually, I don’t mind cameras, I just don’t like having my picture taken. I always look stupid, expecially when I’m wearing really unflattering 17th century clothes. Which, ironically, is when most people take my picture. Jamestown again.
I was mosly just being a brat when that picture was taken though.
37- Ditto.
I have the worst slouch evah…
It makes my shirt go wrinkly. /:-/
*coughs*
…why Barnes and Noble when you could have gone to Politics & Prose?
or… there should be a kokonvention in Portland, OR, just so people can go to Powell’s (the store I’ve sadly never been too…)
40 – I’ve been to Powell’s! it was really cool.
40- YES YES!!!!! POWELL’S! I’m CLOSE to Powell’s!
Sorry for the capitals.
10: Yay, thanks for typing that out! I think you skipped c+q in the last picture… Oh, wait, she said that.
She looks different than in the math thread picture. Maybe because the hat covers her hair?
Very nice, everyone! I noticed that a lot of the girls who have purses have the kind with a long strap that you put over your head and one shoulder so the strap crosses over the front. I used to wear one like that, but the bag was bigger than I liked so I stopped using it every day.
37 ~ You look so nice in the picture of you with your pie, though.
I understand, though. I rarely look good in photos. Ugh.
40-42 ~ What is Powell’s?
43 ~ I like bags like that, too. My school bag is a big stripy Lesportsac (birthday present ♥) which I wear like that. The only thing is that I wear it over my right shoulder, which is the one I’m in the process of destroying with the sousaphone, so now I’m afraid that I’ll have to wear it on the other shoulder, and small changes like that drive me insane. (Like if I don’t have my watch, I tend to be antsy.)
I don’t carry a purse, but if I did, I’d probably use a bigger one with a shoulder strap.
It’d have to be big, because I’d fill it with all sorts of useful stuff. Like needle-nosed pliers.
45- Heh, that’s what I do. People always comment on how heavy it is. But I really need pliers and pens and my graphing calculator and an umbrella…*continues list*
Here’s a slideshow of the DC Kokonvention Day One. If you mouse over the image, you’ll find controls in the lower right corner to move forward, back, or pause.
NOTE: There are 9 pictures total. The last one is the group around the piano reading copies of Muse. Depending on your connection, it may take some time for all of them to load. The slideshow will keep cycling through the ones it has already loaded.
There are a few quirks in Photobucket’s delivery system. If a given slide presents an error message saying the picture has been removed or deleted, click on it, and a window with the still photo should open.
Cool!
Awesome! Great job, Rebecca!
Thanks! Sobriquet, you’ll notice your pie makes several appearances.
I’ll try to get Day Two posted tomorrow, along with Purple Panda’s video.
whee! I love Robert’s shadow puppet, And the koko gifts, and the muse reading photo.
I must congradulate the organizing GAPAs. Amazing Kokonvention (from what a non-attendee gathers by photos and videos). Thank you for providing it for those who could attend! (sadly, not I)
wow…i wish I could have been there…
-slideshow not working-
aw man…
That looked sooo fun. Let’s have a humungo one in Chicago next.
Anyone live in San Francisco? Need to know now, because I’m leaving tomorrow.
Shweet shlideshow!!!
(53) Kiki the Great, did you get the slideshow to work properly? When I switched computers this morning, I noticed a few, um, peculiarities and have added some notes to comment #47.
If anyone else has other problems with it, let us know. This is a first attempt at using this feature, so we weren’t sure what to expect.
awsome slide show
I liked the slideshow, but it was a bit fast. I had to pause each slide to look at it.
(57) Unfortunately, I didn’t see a way to control the speed. This particular format at least allowed a pause button, which the others did not.
57 – I had to do the same thing.
Rebecca – Thanks for making the slideshow, it’s awesome!!
Wow, those were really fun pictures! I had so so so much fun, I hope we can do it again!! Yes, the first thing Robert did was make the Koko sign, everybody just started cheering. Ah, such great memories!
My Grandma enjoed hearing about it and seeing the pictures too.
Hugs to all, untill I get on a computer again! (wow, I only thought I’d get on ONCE this whole trip!) See you later!
Oh, no! I missed the massive muse-reading! And I had brought a couple of issues, too.
61- Maybe Rebbecca could edit you into the picture from another picture taken at the kokonvention!
You wouldn’t be reading muse but…
For your viewing pleasure: Purple Panda’s movie of the DC Kokonvention (Day One).
The first section is roughly nine minutes, and the second is just a couple of minutes.
And now the slideshow from Day Two. Before lunch we toured NPR, and later Ivars Peterson guided us through the Mathematical Association of America.
The images move pretty fast, but mouse over the picture and you’ll see the controls in the bottom right corner. See comment #47 for other technical details. There are six pictures.
From Purple Panda, this photo in which she and I practice the Kokopelli handshake:
woah.
It needs to be said. Flamablamablous!
Weird – the sound on the movie got all un-synchronated. That’s weird. Thought it doesn’t really matter that much – it’s funny
Thanks for posting these, Rebecca!!
coolishness
omigosh WHY WASNT I THERE!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesomely Awesome.
wow. thanks. that was awesome!
(67) Thank you, Purple Panda, for your videography and editing labors. It’s so much fun to see these and to hear all your voices again!
Hey, I posted last night saying how cool they were. Oh well, they’re awesome! It’s sort of fuzzy, but very good. Yay!
ah cool! I especially like the part in the first movie where it goes all slow-mo and backwards and everything.
I wish I had seen Ivars Peterson. It looks like an environment conducive to making hexaflexagons. Möbius strips are boring.
I wish I was back at the kokonvention now, too. Great video, Purple Panda.
On the first vid, when we’re going around ‘Science’ you can hear me say: “Look! Look! It’s a garden in the sky!”
Really great vid! Most of the time, I don’t think anyone knew you where filming!
76 – I have so much more footage than that, too – but if I had put it in it would have been way too long. I’m just going to put the audio in a MuseCast.
I’m trying to download the first video right now. It’s taking forever!! But it’s so much fun to see everybody again!
does my voice REALLY sound like that?! It’s always weird, to see or hear yourself in a movie.
All the pictures are really great. I like the one with PP and Rebecca doing the Kokopelli handshake!
Very goo. I had so much FUN!!!
*good. I ask you, how can I have so many typos?!
Yay! They all worked for me!!!
Purple Panda, that was truly da pwnage. You should seriously consider a career in film. Maybe you can work with the famous hollywood actor Beavo the Online Stalker some day…
I was on an air bus bound for Oakland CA when all this hullabaloo was going on. Yay, hullabaloo!
I had really no idea what everybody looked like ’till now. Probably the most surprising was RtH. Don’t ask me why.
My Dad thinks that he’s seen the “Pwt Pwns” license plate. Scary, eh? For some reason he thinks it’s familiar.
GAH! We totally need to have the next Kokokon in Charleston. Then my parents might consider letting me go. I think the Musers would like Charleston. Beautiful city. Lots of history. When it’s not mid-summer and hot enough to be cooked on the asphalt if you lie there, it’s pretty nice weather. And you can ignore the ignorant redneck prats if you try hard enough.
We should have a debate about where to place the next location. One could present their argument as to why it should be held in that place, and so on and so forth. Is that a new thread I smell, possibly?
that was cool!
i liked the videos and stuff!
The first movie is taking a thousand years to load. Blah. But the second one was good, as were the slideshows. Yay! It looks like so much fun!
82- Washington, because I live there. Or Oregon, because I live there too. But Washington has lots of wonderfully fun things, like the Pike Place Market and the [snipped because I live to close to it]. Oregon has cool things too, like OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). So yeah. Really those are the best places, especially if you consider the pristine, uncrowded landscape and the great historical merit. Yup. You really couldn’t have a better place for a kokonvention. And my dad’s even a kayak guide, so he could guide us in our lovely kayaks through the maze of blackberry-encrusted islands in our little portion of the countryside, while telling us enormously helpful things that we can then write down and publish in Muse.
There. If that wasn’t a convincing enough argument, then nothing will be. It would have been better if I had been able to do more than merely allude to the wonders of this region.
Ooh! It’s a good video! Nice slow motion pieing!
Yeah, the slow motion and then way fast pie-ing was really funny. I liked the sound effects!!
Sorry peoples, but Ron will torture me into maddness if I don’t post a HPB, PoPoPo, I am announcing an official PoPo. Here’s your choklit already.
Not to state the obvious or anything…but these are bad pictures of me.
Maybe when I upload mine I’ll send them?..
Fast-forward
20five years into the future:“Who are those odd-looking people?”
“They call themselves Musers. They’re a sort of cult. Nobody knows very much about them. They seem harmless, mostly, but it’s hard to be sure.”
“What are those things they wear on their hands? Pincushions?”
“They call them ‘pies.’ They’re like little pillows. Whenever they meet, they tap each other on the nose with them. Sometimes when they’re embarrassed they’ll ‘pie’ themselves in the face.”
“Weird. What about those pink handkerchiefs sticking out of their pockets?”
“Those are their ‘towels’ — that’s what they call them. They never go anywhere without them. It’s from some holy book they’ve all read. Sometimes they’ll drape them over their hands and twist the ends up between their fingers to make bunny puppets.”
“Bunnies? Now, that’s scary.”
“It’s true. I’ve seen them do it.”
“Wow. Musers, huh? It takes all kinds to make a world, I guess.”
“You can say that again.”
89-Words cannot express how hard i am cracking up right now. you need to do a fanfic like that.
89-
89- I can see us like this. I can TOTALLY see us like this. Wait… I’ll be… THIRTY THREE?!?!?! I’ll be OLD! Well, not really… sixty is old…
Oh. I didn’t realize that age would be so upsetting. The conversation could just as well take place five years in the future. Most of you will be able to vote then — world, watch out! I’ll go back and change the number.
94- Naaww… Thanks for reminding me- I’ll be able to VOTE!!!
90- There is.
89- AHH New movie idea. Skit. Thingy. This year for FallFilmFestival at the library we’re likely just going to do a bunch of mni-skits. I’ll convince them to let me do that and send it in if I can, hehehe.
84- and, in Seattle, the Science Fiction Museum! ^_^
98- REALLY????
That’s GREAT! I love it!
You should write more!
No, I think I’ll just sit back and watch it happen.
Well, I might not be able to resist writing more at some point. I can smell the story in there…
were is it?
102- I feel an RRR coming on…
new therd or this one?
104- no! we don’t want to use up are rrr therd on something like that!
89~ I love it!! Very good. My Dad is convinced that in 5 years I’ll be all, “Why did I think that was good? I can’t beleive I actually did that, what was I thinking?!” But I know better. In 5 years I’ll still know whay I am a muser. Because it’s a great kind of person to be!! (not that I’m great, or anything, but it’s a good group.)
Visala, those aren’t bad pictures of you! I like them.
My nose looks awful in the “who’s here” thing in the first video. I hate my nose. My voice sounds weird too. I’d better stop before tis becomes a rant…
Just out of curiosity, PP, did you get any videos of THF or I playing music? Or will that appear in a MuseCast?
Okay, I couldn’t resist. Different year, different speakers:
“Sorry I’m late. I started watching the Kokonvention on holo and lost track of the time.â€
“What was it like?â€
“It was AMAZING. Huge crowds as far as you could see, loudspeakers, speeches, pies everywhere — dry pies, real ones, what a mess! Total cathassus, simply unbelievable. Who ever would have thought, back in the old MuseBlog days, that what we started would be such a success?â€
“Success? Is that what you call it?â€
“What do you call it? Three hundred thousand people, they said — three hundred thousand! — all cheering and pieing themselves at the same time and singing ‘Have a Pie’ at the top of their lungs. Yeah, I think I’d call that a success.â€
“You think so? Really? Is that what we were all about? People doing things all at the same time? Listening to other people give speeches? Conformity? No. It’s all wrong, all backwards. They don’t know what they’re doing. I’ve got a very, very bad feeling about all of this.â€
“But the Prophet said–â€
“The Prophet! He’s part of the problem. Who is he, anyway? He came out of nowhere, talked the talk, seized control of the movement, made a fortune selling pies and towels and holding rallies. He’s not even a Muser — never went on the blog, admits he never even read the magazine. Didn’t need to, he says: He just groks it. Can you believe he actually said that? He ‘groks’ it!â€
“Well, maybe you have a point. Maybe.â€
“And then he had the nerve to say that knew all the Muses’ secrets, like whether Pwt was male or female, but that he wouldn’t reveal them because they were sacred mysteries. And poor old Larry Gonick came charging out of retirement to tell him off, but all his followers put their fingers in their ears so they couldn’t hear him and shouted Larry down and pied him to within an inch of his life. He was lucky they didn’t tear him to pieces. Success? Oh, yeah, I’d call that success, all right.â€
“Okay, yes, what they did to Larry Gonick was unforgivable. But still– Are you sure what you’re feeling isn’t just, or mostly, well, sour grapes? I mean, you were there at the beginning. Generation Zero! People looked up to you. You had special status. And then this new guy comes along, talking about things that we never dreamed about and doing them, and all the old-time Musers wind up sidelined. It’s only natural that you’d resent that. I know I do. But we can’t let that color our judgment.â€
“I can’t believe you. Do you think for one second that the GAPAs would have let any of this happen if they were still around? Would they be up there on the platform cuddling up to ‘Kokopelli’s Prophet’? Can you even imagine that?â€
“But they’re not here, are they? They’re gone, vanished, pffft. The Prophet, whatever you think of him, is the only game in town. He’s even talking about reviving MuseBlog as a virtual-reality community on the Tesseract.â€
“So you’re with him?â€
“It’s not a question of being with him or against him. You’re either with him or you’re nowhere. If you want to call yourself a Muser, that’s the only choice you’ve got.â€
“The only choice… No. No, I won’t accept that. There must be something else we can do. There’s got to be another way…â€
Oh my god! I actually burst out laughing while reading that! Robert, you’re wonderful!
Thanks, Alice. There’s one more short round of voices still to come.
Right, one more: four voices this time.
ONE: “Islands! Don’t talk to me about islands. Sometimes I think we’re doomed to spend the rest of our lives on this blasted rock.â€
TWO: “Not that long — just long enough. And it will all be worth it in the end. You’ll see.â€
ONE: “Odd’s blood, woman, is there no end to your infernal self-assurance?â€
THREE: “Silly boy. Surely you must know by now that she’s never wrong, and she always tells the truth.â€
FOUR: “That pair of ineluctable facts is the source of our strength. Meanwhile, this rock is shaping up very nicely indeed. Oh, yes, a most agreeable rock.â€
…which puts the story on track for MuseBlog fanfiction.
Love it, Robert.
Incidentally, while the link doesn’t work, I found the fact that the error report had in error trying to tell us there was an error highly amusing.
I still think I may take that first bit over to the Muse Fanfic thread and do something with it
You’re good at this.
He’s on a roll. Th last one wasn’t quite as good though. I liked the first best. But they’re all good, don’t get me wrong!
Squeezing four GAPAS into five lines is hard to do.
113-Yeah, I liked the first one best, but they’re all great.
It kinda depresses me, though, that some dude who’s never read Muse can call himself Kokopelli’s Prophet.
114~ Yes, but you did it admiribly. Who was who, though? Sorry if I sound stupid….
What was the thing about the towels? I wasn’t a regular on MB when that happened, so I never got the entire thing. Would you mind explaining it?
115~ It hasn’t happened, yet! So we can gaurd against it becoming a reality. then, of course, Robert’s prophesy won’t come true, but I’m sure he won’t mind, if it means not following a person who’s never read muse. Will he?
(115) I thought the Prophet might make a good villain for the MuseBlog Fanfiction thread. The writers there have been floundering around trying to invent one. They’re free to use him if they like.
(116) Paul, Rosanne, Paul, Rebecca, and me.
*laughs* Ah, now I see…. So it was the Prophet that stuck you all on a rock? Hmm, not very nice of him, the posts would take forever to get moderated….
(118) No, no, the “rock” is the new island off the coast of Iceland, where the GAPAs went to build Muse Academy after they vanished. The Prophet doesn’t know about it. Paul is just griping because he’s thirsty. I left out the next part of the conversation:
Paul: “It would be more agreeable if someone would build an alehouse on it. The nearest pub might as well be on Mars.”
Rosanne (brightly): “There will be pubs on Mars. Do you want me to tell you about them?”
Rebecca: “Later, dear. Right now we have to talk about dormitories…”
Oh, perfect. Lol!
Thank you, Gapa dear, it’s brilliant.
oh! this is great!
Yay! I love it!
Why isn’t this on the Muse Fanfiction thread? Ah well, it’s funny. I agree with Paul though, there should be a pub, because pubs often have sessions, and sessions are good!! And Mom thought the Logic would make a difference for me…..
Is Rosanne psychic?
Eh? What do you mean?
Clairvoyant. In the story.
“Surely you must know by now that she’s never wrong, and she always tells the truth.”
“There will be pubs on Mars. Would you like me to tell you about them?”
I’ve dropped several hints that there is something special about Rosanne, but it’s subtle and affects mainly the back story, I think. But I could be wrong. Anyway, MF (123) is right: this all belongs on the MuseBlog (not Muse) Fanfiction thread.
Sigh… My attempts at fanfiction are awful.
Of course I’m right.
Woah. So THAT’s what you guys look like! Now I feel I’m talking to actual people instead of just blognames.
130-That’s sort of what I look like. But my hair was weird becuase of the heat. Phooey.
As I said on the old thread that is still open, We just had a mini kokonvention! On the 30th!
Why did you take over B&N? it’s my fave bookstore!
I really wish I had been able to come. I wish I’d known about it.
WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE I WILL BE COMING
134-Great! I’m not sure, if the theater events happen I won’t be there, but not many people seem to be getting excited about them… But there will eventually be one, as Robert said of our latest mini-kokonvention, we always have to be out there posing for silly pictures
Speaking of silly pictures, talk about me being caught at bad photo moments! I either look grumpy, startled, or in the case of the one with me looking at something in my hand, overly intent on something
This thread is really funny
Red-tailed HAWK
