del•i•quesce: 1. to melt away; esp., to dissolve gradually and become liquid by attracting and absorbing moisture from the air. 2. Bot. To ramify into fine divisons, as the veins of a leaf.
In Part Two of this month’s random thread, all Musers are expected to ramify into the finest divisions possible.
yeah! first post! on a random theard!
not to make this a PoPo, so I’ll say:
Nice pic!
Hey! They started another one? Cool.
Great picture, Lady B. And beleive me, I am glad I don’t get other people’s nightmares. I’d rather not even get my own…
Now, I’m off to “dissolve gradually and become liquid by attracting and absorbing moisture from the air.” *melts*
Whoa. That’s the coolest pic since the bunny-borg. Go Rebecca! (I think… correct me if I’m wrong.)
Yes, I have ceremoniusly
And you know it.
shaved my headlengthened my name.*ramifies into fine divisions* Nah, I think I’ll save that for math class.
3~ Shave your head? Hahahahaha, that is the funniest mental picture I’ve had in a long time, even though I don’t know what you look like… Wow, I’m tired.
I guess I know what tonights nightmares will be.
*ramifies*
so half of my face is stuffed up. and the other half’s fine. odd. also, every time i’m about to sneeze, my right eye starts tearing up. it would be funny if it weren’t so painful.
but i’m all done with everything (finally) so i’m going to go to bed and SLEEP IN! (slightly) (it’s a late day tomorrow) (which means i’m going to think i can sleep in more than i can and end up oversleeping) (which is always fun) (know what else is fun?) (that’s right, parentheses) (you’re so smart) (pat yourself on the back) (unless you can’t reach it! haha, loser) (um, by your back, i mean the middle bit) (you know, the part that you can never scratch) *watches musers hop up and down and cackles evilly*
I think I’ll go speed up my absorption of water by taking a shower. That’ll do it.
Whoa. it’s like a fractal of Muses.
I only saw Feather. Were there any other ones?
Ooh. *melts*
It’s an amazing picture.
*hops up and down*
(I) (‘m) (trying) (ebeth) (but) (it’s) (not) (working) (!)
I love the pic!!! Where can I learn how to do that?
There are such losers running my school. We had a snow day last week, so apparently, they’re making us go today. Plus, I think my band teacher is pushing for us to go, since our band has a concert tonight. Phooey.
I am a big moisture absorber. *melts*
No school here today. But it’s not a snow day, as there isn’t really falling snow, and what’s on the ground has been there are week. I was raining earlier (might still be a bit) and was around 30 degrees (warmth!!) and they cancel school. What is this?
Not that I’m complaining. Much.
Happy slightly-damp-and-warmer-than-average day!
12- We had FIVE snow days and no snow (just a typhoon and week-long power outage). Which means we already have to make up two days and if there is snow, we’ll be out of luck.
Auditions today! I’m in the pre-deliquescent stage at the moment, where I’m happy and excited. By lunchtime, I’ll probably be in the deliquescent stage, where I melt, announcing while I do so that I am melting and making everyone look at me funny. But today, I’ll announce instead that I’m deliquescing, making people mutter under their breath and edge their chairs away.
Ah well. I’m babbling. Wish me luck.
…Woah, did that just change colors? I could have sworn it had been blue. Oh well, maybe a laye didn’t work or summut.
Good luck, Alice!
Your eyes and memory do not deceive you. We have a few different versions of the image. We’re going to change them every day, or whenever we feel like it.
*melts*
Oh god school was so boring. But now I’m in 7th period L.A. and on MuseBlog so maybe it ain’t so bad.
I just realized my handwriting is continuously morphing. It never looks the same way twice. Weird.
Cool. I was wondering about that, and whether my monitor was to blame or what.
(11) Thanks, groundhog22. This particular graphic traveled a long, twisted road through several different programs (it is actually derived from the image used for the first installment of this month’s random thread).
I put these together mostly by experimenting. Sometimes I’ll start out with a new technique I’ve picked up from a magazine or online tutorial, then see what bizarre and Musish mutations I can come up with. Hmm. Maybe one of these days I’ll get around to putting some tutorials on YouTube.
17: So if you have to sign a check or something, your signature isn’t consistent? They won’t let you cash it! (Yes, I’m only teasing)
I love the picture!! So cool!!
I have nothing else to say. *twiddles thumbs and stares at ceiling tiles*
(20) That actually happened to me when I was in college. My handwriting changed so much, I had to provide additional proof of identity and fill out a new signature card.
My head hurts….groan….I don’t want to finish my history outline….At least I’m not completely loony today (don’t ask. I was yesterday. Again, don’t ask)
Wow. I’m on the library computer and I was seriously considering what I thought I’d seen last night…..it’s good. Congratulations, Rebecca.
Handwriting–mine changes according to my mood. If I’m mad, fustrated or excited about something, it’s big, loopy and hard to read. If I’m simply savoring writing it’s usually a lot more legible, though not really pretty. I can however, have very nice cursive. I just never use it.
6-Ooh! Ooh! I can scratch that spot. Wanna see? *scratches* See? SEE?! (Yes you do.) (I kan play the parentheses game too.) (I kan also spell my “can” with a “k”.) (Got a problem with that?) (No, you don’t.) (You know what sukks?) (There aren’t any “c”s to replake in this stupid post.) (I’ll die now.) (*dies*)
I have a sporking band concert today, and I have no clothes to wear. Methinks it would be unwise to go commando in front of the school board. Although that would be fun!
Oh no Mr. Bill! *gets rolled into a ball and bounces away*
I like the picture! (Both versions I’ve seen so far are flamablamablous!)
It got up to 60 degrees today! Which is absolutely insane, since the day before yesterday it was snowing!
And my mom had her surgery today. The tumor was apparently 5 inches by 3 inches by something else. The information I am receiving has been slightly garbled, and I’m hoping for a telephone call from my father soon.
I’m off to play in a concert, the wonderful concert of [school name]! I’m off because because because because, because if I don’t I’ll get an F! *dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun, DUN DUN* I’m off to play in the concert, the wonderful concert of [school name]NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
I’m done.
PP: I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed!
25- *crosses all/fjngres mkin i;t rk=eally hard tooo type&(*
can we have a shirt with the pic on it? and maybe bunny borg?
I’m trying to convince my parents to buy the “Really Old Muse” and 2002 lot from eBay, since I’m asking for back issues for Christmas anyways. I’m also asking for a HPB T-shirt and a Signature journal. ^_^
For the I-get-home-from-school dept: I got home from school… And the was a box. For ME!! *is happy* And inside was a… SWORD! *gets evil grin, grins evilly* So I spent about a while skipping around the house with my new epee.
I have declared myself to be done (for) and will now print (hopefully) my english project that is due tomorrow. I only procrastinated one month.
Yay! Emily didn’t destroy the concert! There must be a party! Wheee! *firecrackers*
In ANY case… the Jazz band played Play that Funky Music and Born to be Wild. Dad was like “Whoa, it’s like everybody knows these songs! Am I alone here?” Yes…. as usuall…
Penguini (30): Flamablamablous! I love getting mail and packages and such. Although epee kind of scares me. With the entire-body-is-a-target-area thing. I’ll stick to foil
31- What a coincidence. I just played in a concert, and I had to wear a cummerbund and bowtie. Without a jacket. Those morons at my school.
My handwriting is generally way too small. I have really nice cursive, but I choose to be lazy.
Whoa… *melts*
It’s all psychedelic, weird because i was listening to the doors when i clicked it…
AHHH SO HAPPY SO HAPPY SO HAPPY SO HAPPY SO HAP-HYPER!
I just auditioned! It was SO much fun. At first I was really really nervous, but after warm-ups I got over it.
WHAT FOLLOWS IS TO BE A MOST LIKELY VERY BORING AND DETAILED ACCOUNT OF THE AUDITIONS. JUST WARNING YOU.
So first of all I filled out an audition form, asking what your hair/eye color was, and all that, plus questions like: Are you willing to play Marvin (a character with no lines)? Are you willing to play a Drinker and Smoker? Are you willing to cut your hair? Are you willing to dye your hair? (My answers: Yes, No, No, No.) Then we did warm-ups. First we played Go, which is a wonderful game, and this game of Go was utterly unlike any game I have ever played. Probably because everyone was more professional than in Acting One (I was the ONLY Freshman there – eep). Then we had to be happy, completely happy. And so I stood there beaming and hopping up and down in joy and laughing at everyone being happy. Then we had to switch to being angry, and this time it was a little harder, because I had to suppress my laughter. And THEN it got even harder, because the next thing was, we had to be as angry as we were before, but we were in a library now and had to be quiet. I think I laughed at this point, but I don’t think anyone noticed. That was actually kind of intense, because it’s how I generally feel when I’m boiling mad, like I’m in a library and have to be polite. (There it is: the secret to my madness. The secret to my outward sanity is kneesocks, by the way.) Then we had to be as happy as before, but in a library. And then we had to be afraid, and then we had to still be afraid, but this time without moving. God, it was hard. And it got harder. After that we had to be sad, despairing, rock-bottom. That one was hard, but I could do it better now. Even though at the moment I’m elated. Then we had to be happy, sad, afraid, and finally happy again, without moving. it was SO HARD! I can scarcely believe it. After that we did some face exercises and tongue twisters (AGH! “You know New York, you need New York, you know you need unique New York” *gasp*) and then warm-ups were over (and we didn’t even get to do Douglas Fir. Shame). And then we got to read scenes from the play. My favorite bit was when I got to be the psychiatrist.
Anyhow, the chances that I’ll get cast are very slim, since my teacher says that for this particular play she’ll probably only be casting those people who’ve had experience, and I haven’t. *sob* Oh well. I *might* get a part. She said it was going to be a lot harder because she’d had some surprises.
I hope I get cast! TWO people said that I should be Aunt Ruth. Whether my teacher will agree is debatable.
*hops around* SO HYPER!
Whoa. Long post. Now I’ll know never to audition for anything (just kidding. one of my loves is acting, and nothing will make me give that up.)
I’ve got power now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It went out sunday. But it’s back and I am no longer suffering MB withdrawal.
Anyway, I had a really bad ice storm. Most of the trees on my block are destroyed and a sixth of my state doesn’t have power.
My fence is gone. A giant sycamore branch killed it.
Maybe now that the heat is on, it will get over 50 degrees here.
3- you what?????? wait- did you actualy shave your head?
i’ll read the rest of the posts later.
Lady B, why are you so amazing?
i love the pic! you always astound me.
so…… had my first exam today and i think i did rather well. that’s why i’m home at 11:33. actualy i got home around 10 as my exam ended just before 10. so i’ve been watching many episodes of family ties *cough* studying. well, that’s what i’lll be doing after i catch up on the blog…… *grins sheepishly* it’s okay, i know my dance stuff almost off by heart. so uh…. family ties, is michael J fox not the best actor ever? why of course he is. and if you argue, i will just have to end our friendship! joking of course. but he is rather awesome.
ahhhh home sick.
played the wii and read Zahrah the Windseeker (great book) and now am bored.
but my cat is purr-a-licious which helps. also, i have an extra day to do my homework which is awesome. >_>, though. *bored*
39- weren’t you home sick the last time i didn’t have school?
It seems like the colors of the picture keep changing… *color blindness attack*
They do.
40- *shrugs* dunno.
Hmm. Why is it that Feather is the only Muse I see in the picture?
42-
Sorry…
I should have read more of the thread before I posted, I guess… *learns newbie lesson over again*
Guess what I found on my history teacher’s bookshelf? A Cartoon History of the United States! I sat and read it during the class.
(43) Because Feather is the only Muse in the picture…except for Kokopelli who lurks somewhere in the layers of the deep, visible to the keen eye here and there in the background of some versions, though not all.
45-we have a copy in the library
although that might have been my doing…i don’t remember
so we went on a field trip to the wexner center today to see the dog guy. OMG his postcard stuff is amazing. ♥ although my favorite was the one called falls, it was a waterfall with a sailboat and a little house, but it looked like a pond for some reason…like an underground view. idk. it was really cool
we had a tour, which was annoying (i dislike tours) but we got some time afterwards to wander around, and then we got to eat lunch on campus. celia, fedner, ida and i went to jimmy john’s (love that place…)
then later we went into this guitar shop and messed around on the guitars. (there were hello kitty guitars…*is scared*) we were supposed to be back by 12:20, and we left the store at 12:17 which was scary enough. there was about half our class that had gathered in the store (and we have a big class). We were walking down the street when we got stopped by a girl with a microphone and a guy with a camera who asked if they could ask us a question. we said ok, so they went through and asked us all what we thought “w00t” meant, and what we thought of it being the word of the year. i was the only one who actually knew what it meant, being an MBer and all
so we’re going to be on fox news tonight. sam said he’d tivo it and bring it in to english tomorrow
So that took time so by that point we were like “oh man, we’re definitely late” so we all start running down the street. people on the sidewalk just moved over. it must have been a weird sight, this massive crowd of people running down the sidewalk at OSU…
so then we ran over this wall and hemmel was standing there at the bottom like “where were you guys?” we told him the story and showed him the business cards the guy had given us. Then we went back to the school and i took out a tennis ball and started messing around with it, and pretty soon we had a huge game that was some combination of catch and hot potato. we were also blasting out music, and it was bsically a party
Today I got “Feliz Navidad” (the song) stuck in lots of people’s heads. I’ll warrant I just stuck it in yours as well. I myself have the Underpants Gnome song stuck in my head.
Ebeth’s Amazing Day part 2
so then leeny and i went to math, where we had a sub, so we skipped out and skipped around instead. (oh, skipping. love that) We skipped on down to the art wing where the choir or orchestra or somebody was watching the sound of music. We started singing along rather loudly and had to skip off again in a bit of a hurry lest we be caught.
after that i went to torch, where i finished my lab report for chem (so i don’t have to do it tomorrow yay!). Then i went to jazz band, but johnson said it was canceled. So hewitt, high tower, andy, cheese and i were just kind of standing around in the band room because they didn’t want to go home and i didn’t want to go back to torch. During this discussion, johnson was in his office, and at one point i said (louder than i thought, apparently) “d***it, i don’t want to go back to f***ing torch!” (i was less than thrilled about this turn of events, as you may have deduced). The conversation goes on, and we decide to just hang around for a while, when johnson comes out and says “um, you guys have to leave” we were like “huh? why?” and he says “i really don’t like all the swearing. i could hear somebody dropping an f-bomb from my office” (other people were swearing too, that was just the example he used). So i don’t even remember saying the above, and we’re all looking around like “who was that?” and then i remember and blurt out (very intelligently) “OH! i think that was me!” johnson just kind of looks at me and i’m like “heh…sorry”
so we go to have a party in hemmel’s room because he’s cool and doesn’t care, but he had left already (actually, he’s leaving at the end of this week because his wife’s having a baby) so we went to flores’s room, but high tower was scared to come in for the longest time, and plus flores was teaching mallory how to use a smartboard and there wasn’t much to do. so we went back down to the band room and were like “johnson, we’re going to be cool and not swear” and put on some music. After a while, andy, cheese and i had pulled out instruments (i used the flugle, just because it’s sweet) and were playing some of the marching music (we have SO MUCH that we never play) and we hear high tower start to play tenaciuos d. we’re like “AAH! NO!” (johnson had gone back to his office at this point). so we played stuff for a while, and we drew on the board. We made a more elaborate tombstone for johnson’s car. (he had to trade it in…he had a sweet car. now he has a pickup truck. sad) it said “RIP Johnson’s Car…We never got a ride (Andy M.)” and it had a little picture of a car on it. so then we were about to leave (because he was, and he wouldn’t let us stay and mess things up without him) so he was erasing the board and he erased our tombstone :'( so i played taps for it, which he seemed to find really funny.
then i went back to good ol’ torch *sigh* we’re done now though. i didn’t do a single thing this issue. Except write a story i guess. *hates being a torchie…*
the thing is, to get jobs you have to go ask them like every two seconds, and i don’t do that. so the jobs go to the more persistent torchies while i sit around and do my perpetual chem homework. but idk, i don’t like bugging the section editors that much, and i don’t like not being able to get anything done while i’m waiting for a job. so usually i just say “i’m here if you need me” and do something else. which doesn’t really work.
so that’s my amazing day part 2
Hi. In case anyone has noticed, l haven’t been on the blog in a while. l’m fine, but l’m going to cut down on my posting a bit. (school and such) But l’m still here.
Wow. What threads do you reccomend? l’m lost.
38-Yup. I look so much hotter bald.
48-*boil* I hate you so much. (JK, JK). Feliz Navidad is the WORST SONG EVER. EEVVEERR.
We had a creepy sub for science. His pants were falling down and he had like four chins. And we were playing bingo (oooh I hate bingo) and he was like “Okay it acts as the scrapyard for the cell” so we put down Lysosome and he said it was WRONG grrr… I hate a sub who dosn’t know his subject!
No, actually, Feliz Navidad is not the worst song in existence. The henious version of Deck the Halls that my sadistic violin teacher is having me learn is [the worst song]. So, also, is the dreadful version of Jingle Bells. The music insturcts me to play it, “cheerfully.” Ahem, an unadulterated version of Jingle Bells doesn’t make me happy. Neither does making it into a jazz waltz. Oh no, it doesn’t make it any better at all. As a matter of fact, it makes me want to go and kill the [snip-snipping snip] who did that arraingement. Grrr.
48- Underpants gnome? *is disturbed*
[Sorry, Kiki the Great. Snipping was called for — Rosanne]
(I snipped those, by the way.)
On a brighter note, a package from CafePress came today. Now what could thatmean?! *is excited*
I meant on my last post, when I wrote that Kiki’s post wasn’t up.
I’d better go, since I was not going to be on for long…..a long time ago…..oops.
‘Night.
54-Cool! =o
57~ No, read my post 55.
An interesting thing, I wrote “flamablamablous” and put it through spell check. It came back, “No suggestions.” Hmm, aren’t all the musers a little like that? Well, I am at least. People look at me and sort of sigh and turn away.
Adding on to the last post of mine– At least my grandmother does.
Here I am on my first babysitting job ever! Using their internet now that the child is in bed… *furtive look* Actually I’m allowed.
This is the Underpants Gnome song, sans tune:
Time to go to work,
work all night
Search for underpants, hey
We won’t stop until we have underpants
Yum tum yummy tum tay!
Yeah.
Yesterday I had an argument with my friend about indirect creation. I say that if someone creates something and that something creates something else, the first someone has indirectly created the last thing. He kept saying no, unless you create something directly, you haven’t created it: either you made it or you didn’t, there’s no middle ground. I said “quiet, you” and gave several examples, staying well away from Christian examples because I’ve unofficially decided I’m a pagan. Finally, I managed to make him admit that I had a point. Grant O. (whoops, almost typed my last name there): delivering smiting logic since 1990.
Am I ever going to have skool again?
This is disturbing me as finals week starts tuesday and I know several teachers who will test me over what we were supposed to get through, not what we actually did.
Ah, I’m scared. Today the cast for Marvin’s Room is going to be posted. I’m scared, because enough people have told me a I should be Ruth that I feel I actually have a chance. I WANT to get a part, but I know that if I do I won’t be able to work on weekdays, and since weekdays are the only times I work, I won’t be able to earn the $40 participation fee, much less money for the Shakespeare Festival!
46- Feather? Where? All I can see is KoKo.
Oh, wait. The pic’s changed from last time I looked.
OK. You won’t believe this. Weather Forecast from Boston.
Thursday, starting at 2:00, 10-12 inches of snow.
Remember that 6 inches closes school. We got out early today
at 1200. Friday is already planned as a snow day.
Then, on Sunday, were meant to get 15 inches of snow
50 percent chance of snowday on Monday.
Me was ment to have Science exam that I didnt study for today, but we missed it because of the early release. Then, me is going to miss science exam on Friday and hopefully Monday, which gives me a better chance to study. I think I could get used to this.
This has probably been answered already, but I must ask: why does the picture continually change?
Sheer devilishness on the part of your Administrators.
(67, 68) Nous-ha-ha-ha.
68, 69- Oh, alright. At least I’m not imagining things. I keep thinking there’s a new thread. But it’s really only the picture that’s changed.
The picture doesn’t change for me. I have also noticed that smilies and things are animated on my dad’s computer but not mine. I think it has something to do with a certain kind of file needing an extension that I don’t have. But I don’t know how to fix that because I can’t find the extension. Help?
69- Speaking of ha-ha-ha, have you lot heard that they’re trying to force Santa Claus to say that now? Santa does not say “ha ha ha.” Santa says “ho ho ho,” and rappers are not going to take that away from him.
(72) I heard that that was happening in Australia, but I’m not sure whether it was countrywide or whether it was only in one store or city or Santa union or something.
(71) Your browser is probably looking at a version it cached earlier. If you hit the “refresh” button, the image should update itself whenever there’s a new one.
Hi everyone, I’m sorry I haven’t been on in a while. Unfortunately, this is probably not going to change, as I’m really busy with music and school.
We have a snow day today. It basically means I have to do yesterday’s homework and practice a lot. But still, there’s no school. *rejoices*
I like the picture… I haven’t noticed it changing, but that’s probably because this is the first time I’ve looked at this thread.
Alice: I hope you did well on the audition… I know this isn’t going to change anything, but I feel like saying it anyway.
Purple Panda: I hope your mom is ok!
37- Whereabouts do you live? (what state?)
66- Lucky!
Hm.
Haven’t been over on this thread in a while.
Hi thar.
Hello.
I have nothing to say.
Goodbye.
I haven’t been on in two days, and I’m completely lost….
I got out of school a half-hour early today, and yet still got home at my usual time…heavy snow….
well, i actually do have something to say. i walked home from school. what? you say, but that’s just walking home from school! let’s put it this way at first my mom thought i was joking. then when i arrived home 45 minutes later she didn’t believe me. *sigh*
HEy everyone! I’m political now! I was elected Junior Ambassador of the Federated Tribes of Tulalip to the NCAI! So that means I get like emails and stuff from Ambassador Hank “Hwitlemkedem” Gobin. Also in October of 2008 I get to go to the NCAI home base in Phoenix. Its gonna be cool because there are like 800 delegates, each from every federally recognized tribe.
I need the future occupation of Red-Tailed HAWK to include in my NaNo.
Every time I hit Refresh, the picture changes color slightly. How does it do that?
There is a Jewish accapella band recording in my basement. …
My cat is being spazzy. Though I suppose that’s how cats are.
Go to ICHC. Now. Just google it. Please? It’s lolcats! Dontcha like lolcats? Who DOESN’T like lolcats? And if you don’t know what a lolcat is, you will be doomed to n00b hell for all eternity. Seriously. So go look for some lolcats!
I’ve made numerous lolcats. Just a funfakt there.
Yup. They’re funny. My fave is a cat in one of those bra and fragile items mesh bags on top of a pile of laundry, glaring up. The caption said:
y u wash me?
NOW U DIEZ
[gush]
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[/gush]
Hurrah! Teh brotherx0rx is home from college!
*dancing and prancing in a festive manner*
I’m terribly glad Clay is home for break.
I love lolcats!!!
I have made a few.
I am more than 3/4 dead today, which gives me cause to miss school. My legs just randomly got really weak this morning, and last time that happened I had to leave school.
I hate missing school because I have to make everything up at home.
MuseBlog Homies:
My grandfather just died, so my family is hauling me off to Ohio to attend his funeral. I’ll be absent from school as well as MuseBlog. Sorry I had to fly off but we have funerals to go to.
How fun!
74-Oklahoma.
I got a fuzzy obnoxious new coat. It is blueish and knee length and warm. I is happy.
To top the disaster area in which I live off, we are supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow, which never happens.
NOskool till ’08!!!!!! Probably.
86-aww, i’m sorry :'( but ohio, eh? *stalkage* well have fun…we’ve got corn. and rain. and grey, lots of grey. oh and a bit of corn.
I am trying to think of something that will not be a PoPo.
OH! I know! Tomorrow I am going to see the Christmas Revels. They are an awesome theater group that I go see every Christmas.
I love random threads, they are so much fun to read.
86- I’m sorry about your grandpa. : sad :
I just listened to that new song by Maroon 5, “Wake Up Call,” and I just realized that it’s about a man who shoots and kills his girlfriend’s lover. Remorselessly. Kind of creepy, but than again, so is GWAR.
Guess who is back on the blog!!!!!
for now, at least.
To say something useful:
I have a new favorite word. It’s called
KAKISTOCRACY
definition(s):
a) A government by the worst citizens of a society.
Viz.,
b) The United States of America.
91- Hello, Ötzi! Is it true you are the one who started the first pie war in the old Chuck Norris/Watership Down thread?
Hey, guess who else is back! Except i can practically guarantee that i won’t be around for long. Does anyone else’s school have a horrid thing known as the IB Middle Years Programme as part of their curriculum? And Ötzi, i believe you spelled that wrong. It should be kokostocracy.
91, 93 – I love the word kakistocracy! And wouldn’t kokostocracy be the opposite: the best possible government?
Wow, everyone seems to be coming back today.
How long have you all been getting Muse?
Oops! On 96 I used the wrong smiley.
Hello, everyone!
It is 11:47 pm, and it is the first time I have been home since 6:45 this morning. I actually had a really good day today–most of my classes were relatively decent, and we had some interesting discussions and such. We had Studio in Literary Arts, and I had already finished my studio assignment, so I just read random Wikipedia articles for 3 hours. (And learned more than anyone needs to know about drinking straws, sporks, child prodigies, and tofu.)
Then, after school, I worked on a project with 2 of my friends, and proceeded to the hospital to visit my mom. My dad had a choir concert with the Symphony tonight, so I stayed with her from around 5:45-11:30. It was really fun! We got to watch LotR on television and I got to watch her get all sorts of IV infusions and such and help her go to the bathroom.
Anyway, hello MuseBlog, and such.
Beavo (86): I’m so sorry, that’s terrible. ::sends happy thoughts::
Ötzi (91): Welcome back! ::pies::
yesterday’s_kinked_moose (93): Welcome back as well! ::pies for you, too:: Nice to see you back on the blog, for Facebook isn’t nearly as fun.
*waves limply*
I’ve felt extraordinarily sick in the past few days. Like I’ve been about to throw up if I eat something. It sucks.
Last night was pretty eventful, I suppose, for multiple reasons…some guy at the coffee shop thought I was a sophomore in college. I didn’t really have the heart to tell him that I’m only fourteen.
I saw a concert at a different coffee shop of a local band…they’re kind of…hmm. Psychedellic. But most awesome.
I also spent well over an hour standing in the same place. And I almost fell down the escalator at the hotel because I couldn’t feel my feet.
And yeah.
On the seventeenth, the Museiverse should totally go to iTunes and check out The Red Seas. Or you could just go to MySpace and search them.
But they are win. And when they get all big, I’ll be like, “heh, I have their first EP, and I got it the day it came out.”
And it will be awesomeful.
99 – Awesomeful is an awesomeful word! I’m sorry you’ve been sick.
91, 93- Wow! Hi! Long time no see! Do you remember me?
98- Is she (your mom) getting better? Did she have the surgery or whatever?
:WIUVB:OWRUB:WJB:OSUDVB:WEOUBV:WE
Deferred. I kinda had a feeling. But now I have to wait for March.
A kakistocracy sounds like what would happen if the Onion and the Financial Times had a baby.
MY NEW FAVORITE CATCHPHRASES:
Instant classic!
Belay that, __.
Konichiwa, Space Captain.
Star smashing!
Disko Dragostea
the pic in green looks great!
you should post all of the ones you have!
Yesterdays Kinked Moose: no but I am currently a senior in the IB diploma program. aaaaahhh.
Yay! Back from the dead! (aka gone from the blog for a few months).
Sorry to interrupt the current conversation, but I’m very excited about the weather at the moment. Where I live (Massachusetts), there is a big snow storm coming tomorrow, with a total of 1-2 feet of snow! Falling on top of the almost 1 foot already, and that’s almost 3 feet! Up to my waist! Yayyy
Ok, continue with the current conversation.
83- Ooh, I know that one!
86- My condolences. Both on your grandfather’s death and your requirement to attend his funeral.
I HATE FUNERALS!!!!
Sorry ’bout that.
90- Hmm. “Willie Tailor” (Willy Tailor? Willie Taylor? Willy Taylor? Pick one) is about a woman whose husband is pressed into the navy and doesn’t come back, so she goers and looks for him and when she finds him he’s with another guy and she shoots them both and gets to be captain of a ship as a reward. (Odd, isn’t it?)
Yesterday was odd, for reasons that I cannot disclose. But some things that I can disclose:
)
I GOT ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!
My partner and I are doing “Phyllis and Xenobia” in Acting and it’s hilarious.
We have a very strange assignment in Science. It involves studying an anomaly. (I thought of you, Canix.
I saw The Golden Compass. It wasn’t that bad. It went way too fast, and I didn’t like the alethiometer scenes (what happened to watching the little symbols? *sob*), but it was good overall.
107- Yes! I was wondering what was going on with the compass readings. They were strange. I liked it overall, up to the point where it just abruptly ENDED. At which point I was shocked and/or appalled.
103-the onion could have a baby with anyone and get away with it.
107-w00t! congrats!
i heard golden compass ended pretty early. i haven’t been able to go see it yet though. (this was actually a long discussion i had with josh k-f and our sub in hemmel, who’s actually really cool)
oh, hemmel’s wife had the baby! apparently it’s named emerson elizabeth.
*shrug* we did have the thought that he was messing with us, and that it was actually elizabeth emerson. But that’s what the email said, so whatever.
but it’s a much less disappointing name then the last teacher baby name, which was alison. that was feathers’s baby, and we all wanted him to name her leah so he could have luke and leah.
but no.
also, i just found out about terry pratchett :'( can we have a thread for him? (for those who don’t know, he was diagnosed with alzheimer’s)
110- like Neil (Gaiman) said, Terry’s not dead yet and is still writing. it is always sad to see someone diagnosed but he is still writing and still alive.
Congratulations Alice!
I need to see Golden Compass.
111-terry said that too, several times but it’s still sad.
Is there enough potential discussion to fill a separate “Terry Pratchett” thread? How about The Golden Compass?
113-maybe not specifically about his diagnosis, but we haven’t had a pratchett thread in a while. and a golden compass thread would be spiffy, but i’d probably stay away from it until i see the movie, which will probably not be until break (in four days)
Robert (113): I was thinking you could combine them, like Cryptids and Soccer, but the Golden Compass would probably have spoilers. Maybe you could make a Terry Pratchett thread combined with something else people have been asking for. ::ponders::
Welcome Turquoise! *pies*
Bye, Beavo! Oh, and what do you mean by post 80? I=confused. But now you won’t be able to answer that! Anyway.
Good grief, self-inflicted or otherwise, a good bit of snippage here. Folks, we’ll believe you without swearing to emphasize your comment!
Red-tailed HAWK who likes all versions of the picture and should come to this thread more but there are always so many comments. Anyway…

does anyone know if tim wynn jones and dianna wynn jones are related?
btw, i love the picture in all it’s morphing glory.
not much else to say…….. oh does anyone know the “sisters” number from white christmas? i love it. i like to perform it on unsuspecting friends using a newspaper instead of a fan.
110- I know, it’s really sad.
I love his books. AND WE DO NEED A THREAD NAO.
hey its me um could some one check out my website [snip!]
I know i shouldn’t have this on this page, but it’s eally, really new and I couldn’t think of any other way to get some people to come. sorry, not people, poets.again, so sorry, but please let this beposted. thank you robert!
[Sorry, LGEGirl. We don’t allow links to personal web sites. But you can post your poems here. –Rebecca]
Who/what is the onion and why is it procreating?
I had to miss school yesterday because my legs decided to freak out and be really weak. Last time that happened I had to leave school and go get a bunch of inconclusive blood tests. Stupid legs.
Last night and this morning I had taekwondo tests to attend. I was in a demo which is why I went to every rank and not just my own. During the demo my friend knocks over 2 other people, and the younger kids always think it’s real. After the demo one of the kids asked my friend “Why you killed them?” I guess he doesn’t know that people who get killed don’t get up and put their weapons away…
By the way, Rebecca, I really really like all the different photo color-changes, etc. It’s really fun to come to the thread every day and see a new color. I’m putting all of them on my desktop and at the end of the month I’ll pick my favorite versions to keep.
What gave you the idea to change the colors every day? Is it a lot of work? Thanks!

I can see kokopelli in the picture now!
I had my orchestra concert today. We were pretty bad… ah well.
I don’t think I’ve read anything by Neil Gaiman or Terry Pratchett. I’ll try to over christmas break… what do people recommend for starters? Hopefully I won’t get any homework… I haven’t had much time to read lately.
I have read stardust by neil gaiman and the day I swappedmy dad for two fish and the wolves in the walls; all by neil gaiman.
(121) I’m so glad you like them, Purple Panda. Once I had all the major elements in place, I combined them with different blending modes and adjustment layers. Since I couldn’t make up my mind which one worked best (as frequently happens), I sent seven of them to Robert, and he decided, why not use all of them? Once the pictures are uploaded, it’s a simple matter to change the file number.
Whoa!!! The picture is awesome! I think I’m gonna collect all these, and turn them into posters, and decorate my room with them once it’s repainted!
P.S. Sorry for the long absence, it was finals week at OCC…
will someone explain what rebbecca sid,but in english?
117- I’ve wondered.
I HATE BEING AWAY SO LONG. Sorry for the caps. I’ve found that i really like nowadays. Dunno why.
Too many posts! *rushes away to read them*
I’m back after a two day absence, and I’ve been suffering withdrawal. Well, actually, I haven’t, I’m too tired.
Yesterday we went to see a friend in Baltimore, and the car wasn’t behaving on the way there, so we ended up spending the night there. Of course, we had no change of clothes, no toothbrushes, yuk. I feel gross, I’m still wearing yesterday’s clothes, because by the time we got home I wasn’t going to take a shower in the middle of the day.
(72, 73) According to the invaluable Snopes.com, the story about Santas and “ha-ha-ha” is false:
www. snopes. com/politics/christmas/hohoho.asp
Aw. I miss the old days. I’ve been missing the old days a lot lately, back when I was a newbie and would spend hours trying to think of a continuation to the sci-fi RRR and when E2MB was still around and before I went to school and before Script Frenzy stole my Muse and never gave her back and before I turned fourteen and all my old friends were still on MB and I still had high hopes for NaNo and before I lost my other computer and before we moved to town and before the house burned down and before real life stole my time and before we didn’t have internet and before…and before… *sob* *sniffle*
Sorry about the outburst. But I really do miss E2MB. And the RRR. And that strangely miraculous air that MuseBlog held. And time, of course.
*hugs Alice*
130-
Thank you all for being so tolerant of my adolescent mood swings.
I’d say you’ve earned a few mood swings during the past few months.
I agree with Robert, Alice. You’ve got every right to mood swings. *hugs*
And by the way (I keep meaning to say this, but never get around to it), the picture for this thread is most trippyful and amazing. I loves it.
124- I bet Elements couldn’t do that. It doesn’t even have QuickMask! grrrrr.
134- Ditto.
Bleh. I hate shoveling snow. And I really want a snowblower but I know they’re a waste of energy and are contributing to global warming.
My dad got The Simpsons Game for the Wii and I’m gonna go play it very soon.
My cat is right next to me. I think she likes the MB.
LGEGirl- Welcome to MuseBlog. *pies*
107 – I saw the Golden Compass too! I actually liked it better than the book because the book was SOO boring. (I’m sorry if anyone reading this liked the book.)
He is one of my favorite authors!!!!!
The alethiometer must have been hard to do, though, because it was only going on inside her head.
Lady Bunniful, how do you make those pictures??
Terry Pratchett has Alzheimer’s?
137- Well, HDM is pretty much the second most popular series on MuseBlog.
But then again, I’m not a big fan of the *first* most popular series, so i shouldn’t talk.
139- why not? there funney, if I think the first most popular series is what you think it is.
139-What’s the first?
To all Golden Compass viewers: Robert told me to use the movies thread for my Golden Compass discussion, so we should probably continue there. That okay with everyone?
140- They’re funny. I do like them, but I don’t *love* them, you know?
141- H2G2.
Okay. To the movies thread!
142-Oh yeah. I still haven’t read those. I probably should, considering that my friends on another website make allusions to it every 20 seconds.
The picture today has changed three times! Why so many?
(144) Maybe Robert can’t decide what mood he’s in.
145-Who can?
We’re listening to “A Christmas Carol.” It’s loud.
Hi. I’m back. *vanishes*
142 – That makes me so happy that I am having a hard time not writing in CAPITALS!!! I love H2G2!!! Did you all know that it was originally a radio show? It is way different from the books, but it is awesomeness anyway!!!!
149- of course you do. because you are in my power, you are in my power….
148- AAAAAAHHHHH! Pelle! Good to see you! Go to the Empowered thread NOW or suffer my wrath!
P- pratchett? A- alzheimers? *wobbly lip* *bursts into tears*
152~ what’s wrong?
I stink at solitare, why do I even bother playing it?!
We’re getting a Xmas tree today.
I can’t believe how un-festive I feel. *sings holiday songs to invoke wintery spirit* *shops with nonexistent money* *eats Christmas cookies that she decorated yesterday*
Sigh. Why can’t we have winter break NOW? My whole life would be better if we did.
hey it is me, sorry I left so abruptly last night, my mom came into my room and I had to exit out before she caught me blogging she believes that a Bad person will lure me to my doom. any way,
I came back to this wonderful blog because I wanted to tell the moderators/administrators what a cool picture that is of Feather,O Muse of Plants and Donuts, my favorite Muse. Keep up the good work!*pies*
ATTENTION:
I will most likely be changing my name to La Mort.
Don’t ask why.
what are spdzk points?
154-I completely agree. Except, my teachers have decided to have a half day on Monday, which will be completely pointless, as much of the school will be skipping, as far as I know.
And I definitely want to skip, but I can’t. -_- It’s the day before winter break, and since we don’t have electives everybody else will be partying…while the 7th graders are in “health class/HIV and AIDs class”. You make the connection…
LaMort is so easier to type
Points made up by PC on the General Science thread:
“Once someone wins spdzk points, they can award them as well. There are only 100 spdzk points in existence. Once I award these, I will not be able to award any more. Whoever wins them can award them in any amount, including or under 100, to any blogger or GAPA they choose.”
I have 70 of the 100 spdzk points, and TMFA has the other 30.
I am awarding some on the R&R thread, if you want to win some.
holy Bo, I am reading Gne with the wind, youknow,by margeret mitchell.it is actually a finepeice of literature that goeson and on and on and on and on…..*snaps out of it* anyway, I might zone out permanently with “Gone With th Wind-itis”.
does no one read my comments? *sniffles*
161-I read that book 2 or 3 years ago for English. It bored me to death.
really? my mom says I have carried on her love for great literature(barf)it is rather lame and unexciting
164-Yeah. Maybe I was just too young to “get it”, but it was just rather annoying to have to read.
well, i like it, if even only remotely.
We got a Christmas tree today–it’s a Fraser Fir, and it’s really spiffy!
Now, I shall go decorate!
what in the world of all things muse and wonderful is a Fraser fir?
We got our treee last week. I think it’s a blue spruce. Anyways, we decorated it on Friday night.
166-I should probably reread it to see if I still dislike it.
spiffy?
i like gone with the wind
168-A type of Evergreen used as a good Christmas tree. I’m trying to remember, I think ours is a fraser fir. I remember we have had douglas firs, but I believe this one is a fraser…
I did it! I said it! I didn’t slip up or speak too softly or anything! (I was reading a passage from the Bible at the Christmas pageant)
Red-tailed HAWK the EXCITED YAY!!!!

I do not think you will dislike it. that normally happens to me; I will read a book, hate it, wait a while, and read it again, normally I love it by the second reading.
yay red tailed hawk!!!!!!:D
173-Yeah, me too.
cat’s meow, you don’t comment much but when you do, you do not say much.I like it because i cannot help saying everything in one post
well, eventually I am going to have to explain my being on a blogsite.I will have to tell her of ll it’s safeness, moderators, administrators, the like.
I gtg
175-Yay me? Why, thank you! Yay LGEGirl!!!!
176-You were in a Christmas Pageant too? Or do you have a fraser fir? Either way, or both, how was it/is it
Red-tailed HAWK

She can e-mail us if she likes (gapa @ musefanpage.com). We’ll be happy to answer any questions. We can even put her in touch with MuseBlog parents who have actually met us.
177-Is that a good thing or a bad thing? xD I think it’s just because I’m on pretty often, so I don’t need to cram a hundred responses into 2 posts.
Saw Golden Compass last night. Parents loved it. Now have to convince them to read the books.
183-Yeah, I told my friends that if they went to see the movie they’d have to read the books. I don’t think they listened, though.
oh actually I do not have to leave, and I no longer have to conceal MBing because my mom saw Robert’s comment, and she is convinced.I talked her into it a little though;much exaggeration on the safeness
yay
185-Awesome! -high fives-
cat’s meow, I could not tell you what a relief it is, and not worrying about being caught*whew*
my name is now PrincessofCatastrophes. lime green elephants can wait.I have several at home n the shape of stuffed animals.
188-Yeah, I wouldn’t know. My parents like me reading Muse.
189-Nice name!
Does anybody else have a problem with getting too much of their information from Muse? On just about any subject my parents/newspaper/whatever can come up with, I already know everything about it from a Muse article. As an example, my science teacher was showing us an article in a recent Newsweek or something about the epigentic code, which, of course, Muse did a cover article on. And my parents have learned that whenever I say “Oh yeah, I saw that in…” they’ll interrupt and say Muse.
No idea whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.
I have enlightened my aunt on this wunnerful blog;she didn’t post though…….
Oh, and an addition to 190 that I forgot (sorry about the double post): I liked Muse’s article on the epigenetic code better, mostly because it was in English and therefor made much more sense. I mean, we understand that these people are smart, but if people can’t understand it they’re not going to read it, duh…you don’t need to use so many scientific terms that nobody except the researchers that did the experiment can understand. =P
191-I feel unusual, now. I’ve only had 2 blog names in all my time here, and you’ve had 3 in ths past 5 minutes. 0.0
Just kidding.
Cat’smeow, you are awesome! my mom would flip if I have been going on secretly for years and years if this wasn’t safe, and I would lose all computer privileges…..
anyway, we were studying about a cholera outbreak in my science class, and I told everyone about that article in muse about the pump of death that was making everyone sick; I got a skeptical look from my teacher, but nevertheless I was proud and felt like an awesome know-it-all(I love being s-m-r-t smart!hehe)
I change my screen names to my own fancyness….
194-How does that make me awesome? xD I know I am, though. (Just kidding)
The cholera thing I can definitely relate to, though. Except when I do it too often, everybody thinks I’m a loser know-it-all instead of an awesome know-it all.
Out of curiosity, how long have you been getting Muse?
190 – I know the feeling. Most of my knowledge comes from Muse.
I think I have been getting muse for about two years, long enough to not be able to wait patiently enough for the next issue. every time I go home I ask my dad if muse came in yet. he says it will come in in January, but In don’t think I can wait that long. I have been museblogging for about four months. I also get. cricket magazine.
197-Join the club. =P
198-I get Muse and Cricket too. YAY! Plus my brother gets a couple more. Isn’t it awesome when you come home from school to find out that every single Cricket Publishing magazine came on the exact same day?
wow really?
I do not think we are supposed to be talking about other magazines;just the wunnerfulness of muse and muse realted things.
All the answers to my global hw were in the Jan07 muse.
I found this odd new pair of gloves. they have some raccoon fur in them. Odd, no?
Not at all. Talk about any magazine you like. Even *shudders* Highlights.
oh, highlights is NOT cool
Robert you rock!are you the robert from the questions/answers page? if you are, do you know rosanne?
203-Rosanne is another GAPA. But they are both going to stop doing the q+a any time now, as the recent thread tells…
Red-tailed HAWK

202-I used to get Highlights, but then it got sort of dumb. Either that or I just got old. =P Between my brother and I we get Muse, Cricket, Ask, and maybe Spider (I’m not sure on this one).
203-Yup, that’s the one! Rosanne’s one of our GAPAs as well, like Robert. (they moderate our posts and such) So is Paul Baker (who often writes articles for Muse) and Ruth and Andy (who aren’t GAPAs, but they post here sometimes. They’re the people that’ll be taking over for Robert and Rosanne when they go on their hiatus)
I don’t like Highlights. Too moral.
Well, we got the tree – that was the easy part! Soon as we got back we had to clean up the tree room, which, since last Christmas, has become the worst room in the house. *shudders* So we spent hours on that (or hour, but whatever), and now we get to decorate!
203- He is. And of course he knows Rosanne! She’s a GAPA too!
I see.red tailed hawk, I would break out in tears and throw athat issue away if they ever decide to take off the q+a and further decrease the page number (HINT HINT EDITORS).
do not say awful things like that.
I used to get Spider and Cricket, but now I’ve become completely devoted to Muse. But Spider and Cricket are still great magazines.
207-Yeah, I was looking through my old Muses the other day and realized you can tell the new Muses from the old Muses by their size.
Luckily, the Q&A will probably be here for at least another year, while Ruth and Andy are doing it.
IBCF! hi! whats up? I forgot what your name stands for, would you tellme? something like copius fur with-…….
anyway
q+a has to continue or I will be writing to the editors saying what a lousy job they are doing keeping the magazine from getting smaller.
I hate surprise improvements.
(203) PoC,
Rosanne and I are old friends. We’ve been through a major earthquake together and even pied each other at the Kokonvention. You can see the pieing on Purple Panda’s kondensed Kokonvention video.
210- Hello, PrincessofCatastrophesand/Lime Green Elephant. IBCF stands for Irregular Bump with Copius Fur.
I see.
haha you seriously pied each other robert?Do you like doing q+a?
212-How’d you come up with that name?
5 spdzk points to anybody who can tell me what language La Mort is, and can translate my new name.
214- Ask Canix.
214- The October Newcomers thread
#
80. Prarilius Canix who cannot WAIT for NaNoWriMo to begin in 5 days | October 27th, 2007 at 7:05 pm
*flings, casts, chucks, hurls, tosses and otherwise throws various pies, flans, dumplings, tarts, cobblers, donuts, croissants, cakes, rolls and other assorted pastries at: The Irregular Bump With Copious Fur; Frozen Precipitation Prefixed By The Answer To The Ultimate Question Minus The Number Of Fingers On A Typical Human; and Hero Of A Popular Young Adult Fantasy Book By Christopher Paolini*
In other words, the loquacious Prarilius Canix bids all newbies a hearty welcome. Have fun!
215-French, and it means Death
215- It’s French, and means “the death”.
215- It’s french, and it means The . ha ha, you just messed with a quadrilingual! And I dont even speak french! Now gimme my spdzk points!
217- Btw, before that, IBCF was Fluffylump.
213- They have pied each other. I was there. It was awesomeness.
So, I just found out we have the third consecutive Monday 2-hour delay tomorrow. I’m happy because it means I don’t have to write a DBQ essay tomorrow, and I can procrastinate on the scaffolding questions and not do them until tomorrow night.
220- ha ha, you didn’t get it first.
*officially awards Cat’s Meow 4 spdzk points*
*awards Alice 1 spdzk point for including ‘the’*
221- Yes, and it was the kindest thing he’s ever done for me. I mean, “Fluffylump”? What the heck was I thinking?
223-Ugh, it’s all Google Translator’s fault.
I don’t even speak French.
Wow. Somebody updated the Who’s Here page fast.
Does anyone else hate geometry? I cannot do proofs! I just spent three hours on it and proved one thing.
227-I hate it, even though I suppose taking it for a month or two and doing very few proofs counts.
I love math, so of course I would like geometry. Proofs are pretty fun (especially flowchart proofs). Although Logic (if p then q) is much better.
I fail at life. I have had no idea what day it is for the last three or four weeks. I don’t know what homework is due tomorrow. I have no motivation to do said homework. I am stressed out. Finals are next week. I have not studied. I don’t want to study.
*sob*
I used to get Highlights. I stopped getting it when I got Muse. I actually did like Highlights when I was younger (::ducks incoming pies::) and had several questions and stories and such published in the magazine…though I soon grew tired of it. It was geared toward much younger audiences, and once I got older I started hating it.
Yes! Robert and Rosanne pieing each other! That was one of the best days of my entire life…

I know how to write geometric proofs, but I hate it. I like almost all math, except geometry. I’m an Algebra fan.
Proofs are win. I must say i prefer algebra over geometry, but still, good stuff. I don’t care too much for flowcharts though…they take up too much space. And am i the only muser who has a fake tree?
232- I have a real tree.
eww, math.
iiiiiiiii have to finish this essssaaaay and i really don’t want to. and i have a chem test. and we only have two more days. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!?!?!? stupid teachers.
*sulks*
on a slightly related note, my ipod is almost dead.
and proofs are EVIL. my problem with proofs is that i forget what the laws are actually called, so i just make up laws that sound plausable and make sense, but unfortunately don’t exist. the argument would be fine, but i’d still lose points.
230) that feeling, my dear lizzie, is the feeling of being burned out. as such, feel welcome to join the club.
I myself am ready to enter a coma upon winter break…but alas, AP Euro calls for studying and timelines and outlines. woe.
222 ~ I am insanely jealous of your school district because my mom is always like “Yay we have a two hour delay tomorrow” and over here they don’t announce it till about five a.m. So I have to get up at the usual time to check while my mom (in theory) can sleep. Except that this morning she came to bug me while I was checking and then got into my bed so I didn’t go back to sleep and that’s unfortunate. (and while I’m being jealous you have shiny tubas, too.)
We have a DBQ due tomorrow. I haven’t even looked at it and our concert is tonight. GOOD JOB SELF. Possibly a good use for the next half hour…
227 ~ Geometry is not my favorite sort of math. Although I find it generally pretty easy, it’s also pretty boring. Which is why I have math team to keep me entertained, yay!
Anybody see the thing on the highschooler who got detention for using firefox? Disturbing to to say the least.
Sorry about the double post
It’s on groklaw. search for foxfire.exe
I have no school today…
230- Hello, Lizzie!
232,233- I have a real tree from my forest. Ha. [/unnecessary boast]
235- You’re back too! Hello!
Well, today is going to be unpleasant. It’s a C day. Seven classes in one day! Whee fun.
Touchpads are a little bit annoying.
My mother says they’ll probably make a PotC 4 because they ended the last one on a cliffhanger. I disagree. Just because something ends on a cliffhanger doesn’t mean you have to write a sequel! It is possible to have too much of a good thing.
Hey guess what I got for my birthday…
A snow day!
I love snow days! Especially when they’re on my birthday!
240-Yay! *pies*
I just had a proofs test today (because we didn’t have a snow day, after all. *grumblegrumblegrumble*). They’re not that hard for me, but they take so long…
I also received an letter from People to People (?) I guess I was recommended for it by a teacher… It sounds pretty cool, but I can’t go because of summer dance scheduling, I think (besides the fact that it costs money, which also takes away from my summer dance). Does anybody know anything about it? Because there’s not a lot of info in the letter, and you seem to have to register first, before the website will tell you anything.
241: That’s a test I’d fail. Undoubtedly. I hate math-no, I hate math class. I don’t actually hate the subject. Anyway, the people to people thing. My friend went to China. Yeah. I don’t know that much about it. But it’s like a once in a lifetime chance (I think) so do it if you can.
240: Ooh, what a lovely birthday present! I had a snow day for my birthday too (last year).
Snow day today!!
130- *hugs* but there are still people from when you came right *looks up hopefully*
soo… IT HAS SNOWED SO MUUUUCH! i’m not kidding, part of my hour long walk to school was me running through mid claf deep snow! it didn’t even snow last year before Xmas.
In my Science exam there was a refferance to Science magazine. he he he. That was pretty awesome. Science is the one where Robert is an editor right?
YAY Science Olympiad!
I worked on Anatomy today and did charts of brain function and suchlike. And we had popcorn!
Teh snow on teh ground is teh FTW. 7 inches!
239-they’ll probably make a POTC 4 because it makes money…
241-yeah, you go to japan and it costs like 5 thousand dollars. i got a letter from them too. i think it’s the same people. anyway, it sounds cool but it’s pretty expensive and it’s not competitive at all, just whoever pays can go, so it’s not like it would help with college apps or anything. (god, the counselors really HAVE brainwashed me…)
band concert tonight, wewt! and jazz band. yay jazz band!
potassium silver cobalt manganese iodine xenon.
gallium protactinium!
does anyone else find it fun to spell things with the periodic table of elements? I DO! *sorry* everyone else goes oaky akthleen okay suuuuuure.
Helium! Helium! Helium! Thorium astatine sulfur / fluorine uranium nitrogen nitrogen yttrium!
Ununquandium Is TEH_PWNAGE!!! We have this extra credit thing in science where we have to spell things with elements. The biggest word we have so far is hydrocephalic (hydrogen, yttrium, dramstatine, oxygen, cerium, phosphorus, hydrogen, aluminum, iodine, carbon
Boron oxygen
Chromium radium tungsten
Are the only two Muses whose names can be spelled with elements.
“GAPA” can be spelled with elements (gallium, protactinium), but none of the Administrators’ first names can be. “Baker” is barium, potassium, erbium.
There’s antimony, arsenic, aluminum, selenium ,and hydrogen, and oxygen and nitrogen and rhenium and nickel, neodymium, neptunium, germanium and iron, americium, ruthenium, uranium, europium, zirconium, lutetium, vanadium, and lanthanum and osmium and astatine and radium and gold, protactinium, and indium and gallium and iodine and thorium and thulium and thallium
There’s yttrium, ytterbium, actinium, rubidium, and boron, gadolinium, niobium, iridium and strontium and silicon and silver and samarium and bisthum, bromine, lithium, beryllium and barium
There’s holmium and helium and hafnium and erbium, and phosphorus and francium and fluorine and terbium, and manganese and mercury, molybdenum, magnesium, dysprosium and scandium and cerium and cesium, and lead, praseodymium and platinum, plutonium, palladium, promethium, potassium, polonium, tantalum, technetium, titanium, tellurium, and cadmium and calcium and chromium and curium
There’s sulfur, californium, and fermium, berkelium, and also mendelevium, einsteinium, nobelium, and argon, krypton, neon, radon, xenon, zinc and rhodium, chlorine, carbon, cobalt, copper, tungsten, tin and sodium.
That took forever.
Heheh! Ah, it’s wonderful to see so many young people
working to help me take over the worldhelping with the campaigning…Ah, yes, I know we should be talking about those ol’ element things, but I’ll leave that up to Chad. I just thought folks might want to see me once and a while, considering how helpful they are being and all…
Well, I’ll be going, bye everyone, it was nice stopping in…
YOUR FRIEND KOKOPELLI
KOkopelli-stop bothering them-*SPLAT_OOF_BONK*
Hello, all! *gurglehelppp*
Urania, always trying to help
Uh-oh. Well, they’re not in bold letters, so they can’t be the genuine article.
hi what’s up? I am back, I left so abruptly last night because I had to eat dinner and I didn’t have a chance to say good-bye. Is it good-by or good-bye? in gone with the wind(yes, I am reading it) Scarlett says “good-by” to Mr.Butler, but I am quite sure that the phrase has an E at the end of bye. will someone tell me if that was grammatically incorrect?but, I am quite sure that no body has read the book and can explain, so I am not expecting a reply.
252, 253- FAKERS! FALSE IDOLS! You’re not the real Muses!*sighs* I don’t think the REAL Muses will ever show up again.
This is Prarilius Canix. This is also Sir Ozlips. And this is also Oob.
I am tired of switching between alter egos all the time. I have decided to condense them all into a single entity. When I speak on the Musiverse threads, it may be assumed that the speaker is whichever ego is appropriate.
I am Prarilius Oob Sir Ozlips Canix.
I am POSOC.
Farewell for a very brief amount of time. [/ostentation]
Now, bold names don’t make a perfect Muse! We are here, always!
Your friends the Muses
ok I am going to a bit of copying and make my name into all the alter egos that I have ever been:superkabob,PrincessofCatastrophe, limegreenelephantgirl,
Exotica,EvEx,AthenatheHootHoot,PoetNoelle, muse of expressing yourself,so I am summing it all up toSuperkabob.Isn’t it awesome?!
*pies*
Guess what! Musical auditions were today after school, and I was almost last which sucked. I think I did pretty well, though, and tomorrow I shall post what part I got. The musical this year is
Luann and I want to play her friend Bernice. The musicals at my school are pretty good and really (really, really, really) fun.
251 – My dad knows that song and sings it at random times.
258- GAPAs tell us that is not Larry G.!
Rehearsal today. Huzzah! Now I just have to get through the “Winter Week” assembly, PE, and Math, and I’ll be happy.
Tomorrow is the last day of school before vacation. Fun!
Hmm, we got internet explorere 7, and now the question marks have been replaced by little boxes. Strange.
261- Don’t worry. Not bold=not real.
I saw The Golden Compass on Friday evening. It kicks ass.
265-I was watching TV interview that woman, the evil one…Nicole Kidman? and apparently the reviewers said it was really bad and she got mad at the presenter…it was quite funny….I havnt been yet, oh well, Ive got the hole summer hols to do that….
so…..you people are so lucky….you have winter and snow!!! I have summer…..and…..rain for my whole summer holidays it shall rain and then it shall be sunniful in February when school starts back…
We just have not decided to appear to you through the great Larry G., but another… We are still real, and care for you all deeply…goodbye, dear friends…
Your friends the Muses *snif*
sorry about double posting -_-
-146(i think) my name is Sulfur Americium….you know…thats about the most we do in science…apart from disecting eyeballs of sheep (ewwww it was gross and then this one girl fainted..and there were sheep eyelashes on the eyes…yeucchh and they were slimy)
and sorry about delving way back into the past of the thread i.e number 146
A preist living in a small town in the country got a call from a hospital miles away in the city. A patient there was on his deathbed, and his last request was to confess something to a preist.
The priest would have had no trouble getting to the hospital in 15 minutes normally, but this was in the dead of winter, and a howling snowstorm was raging outside. The preist bundled up in several layers of clothes and opened the door.
Immediately a freezing gust of wind nearly knocked him over. After he finally got outside, he could not see more than five feet in front of him. After about ten minutes of stumbling through 3 feet of snow, he found his car.
The car started, but he had barely driven a block when the icy road caused him to slip and slide off to the side of the road. His car was not hurt, but one of his tires was shredded. It took the priest over half an hour to replace the tire in subzero temperatures.
After about 2 hours he managed to drive the 12 miles to the hospital. He rushed in, fearing he would be too late, but a nurse informed him the patient was still alive. He then followed the nurse up to the patient’s room, and sat down next to the bed inside.
An old man asked if he was the priest, and the preist said yes. “Now,” the priest said, “what would you like to confess?”
“When I was a young man, in my 20’s,” the man began, “I worked on a construction company. After the day’s work, me and my carpool freinds went to a bar and drank until we were drunk. I was the least drunk of us four, so I volunteered to drive. It was pretty late, and it was starting to get dark.
As I was driving along, I kept wobbling back and forth inbetween lanes. Then, around a turn, a car going the opposite direction came around the corner. I thought it was coming toward me, so I swerved, but it was a little bit too late. My car rammed into the side of the other car and pushed it off the road down the hill into a river. And the man and woman and two young girls who were in that car – ” the man began to cry, ” – all died. I was never caught, and never revealed this secret, but it has been tormenting me all my life so I wanted to at least let it out before I myself died. Do you think God can ever forgive me?”
The priest looked as if a million thoughts were whirling through his mind. Then he lowered his head and quietly whispered, “If I can forgive you, anybody can. Those people in the car were my family.”
269- Interesting story. Did you make that up or copy it from somewhere?
Btw, j’aime the quote in your name.
270 – It’s from Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul.
Whoever made the cover art for MuseBlog must be extremely skilled with graphics editing software.
Oh, yes, Lady Bunniful knows her stuff.
Maybe I should start a thread called Custard Pie for the Muser’s Soul…
Oh, speaking of new threads, the Muses are stopping by tonight. See https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1130.
273- Good idea! When you’re feeling down, you can go there to read inspirational stories about impromptu pieings, successful Kokonspiracy recruiting campaigns, HPB sightings, and other Muserly memorabilia.
273 – Good idea!
Thanks, you guys. I’m back.
It was harder for my mother to bury her dad because she idolized him. He was her favorite person in the WORLD.
In any case.
116-I was wondering if you’d be okay with me including your name (Hawk Redtail) in my NaNo. Capis?
Ahh, I forgot something. The Jewish bloggies might know what a K’reah is. I’m wearing mine all week, and expecting bull from school. Such is life.
130-I’m all depressed now.
Okay. I shant answer any more comments. I have thread catching up to do.
92: Indeed. I believe I shall go down in history (Mustory?) for that…
Sooo…..
Who are people rooting for as the 2008 election quickly approaches?
*stands well back as political discussion ensues*
Kreah–Oh crap, Im half jewish, should know this, 7 years of Hebrew School (even though I dropped out) *thinks* WIKIPEDIA!!!
Noes, they doesnt have it either. I cant believe myself. I know all kinds of Jewish stuff but I doesnt knows this.
Please do explain Beavo.
277- Mike Huckabee. Im probably the only Republican in MA. Im a republican but I Bush.
260 – I got a lead!!!! I didn’t get her friend, but I am the principal of the school and its a LEAD!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!
This is so much better than my part last year. Last year I was the lead’s dead mother (1 song) and an orphan beggar girl (3 word line).
278-I might have spelled it wrong. It’s a little ribbon that you tear in mourning of a dead relative and wear all week. It’s an alternative to tearing outer garnments like the old peoples did.
(279) Congratulations, Turquoise!
Thanks!!!!
255. (PrincessofCatastropheswithLimegreenelephantgirl): I think good-by is more archaic and goodbye is more modern. But both are correct if I’m not mistaken.
277. (Ötzi): I’m rooting for Dennis Kucinich. The man has everything we could ever need in his pockets. Plus, I’m pretty sure he’s a leprechaun, which makes him awesome. Okay, I’m kidding. I really haven’t been paying enough attention to the debates to know who I want to win, but as to who will win, my money’s on Obama. Oprah supports him. Oprah! If Oprah thinks he should be president, he’ll be president.
283 – Go Kucinich! I liked his interview on the Colbert report
Attention.
The next 5 people* to post will each receive 2 spdzk points.
Thank you.
*People who already have spdzk points are ineligible. This offer only applies to each person once.
No. This is going down the path to post counting. I will not accept these stupid “zpdzk points”, dump them on someone else. *grumble*
278- Why Huckabee?
I don’t understand this whole spdzk points thing. I know how they started and such, but what do they mean? What are they for? What is the purpose?
Turquoise: Congratulations! I hope you have a lot of fun!
We’re learning Quantum Mechanics and the quantum theory and such in Chemistry right now. It’s flamablamablous!!
286- If you insist… I’ll get rid of them some other way.
285) What are spdzk points? And now that I have 2, what do I do with them?
Hmm. I missed my spdzk points by one post.
288- To confuse people.
290- Collect them, award them, attach them to your name. It’s all really pointless. I just thought I’d see how far they would spread. Sort of like wheresgeorge .com. But if you frequent any other forums, give some away there, to propagate the Kokonspiracy.
291- You can have them. Glassboro didn’t want any.
291- No, you didn’t. You’re the third person to post who either can or will accept them. (I can’t receive them, and Glassboro doesn’t want to)
Oh. Okay.
Why can’t you get any, La Mort?
See post 285. I already have spdzk points.
Cool! Pointless things are fun to own, even if they don’t exist! lol
hello everyone. i was just talking with glassy and monty and panda and futurecell and everyone and got a little bit nostalgic. so… hi. i miss ya. especially Bobby and Rosie and Rebecca. i really miss everything, but i just have no time, especially with all the posts. and newbies. (hi newbies! you dont know me, but im a very nice person!) so bye. if i have some free time i’ll come on again, okay? though i probably wont cuz of volleyball and kungfu and everything… oh well. bye! *hugs*
Hello, VF! It’s good to see you even fleetingly. Stop by whenever you have a few spare seconds!
hey,hi,hola,what’s up,ciao,bonjour,Yasou,howdy,konnichiwa,
aloha,yo,ni haw!
if you can tell, those are all the different ways that I can think of in saying hello/hi.
I love foreign languages.speaking of such, I will soon be re-learning spanish and newly learning french!cool, yes?
I need opinions. Does my name look better in all caps, like it is now; in all lower case (posoc); or capitalized (Posoc)?
I am currently posting this from the loft of the bedroom I’m staying in Hawaii. I am staying on Kauai, the greenest island. It’s very nice when it’s not raining. Anyway, you may be pleased to know that I read HG2G on the plane here. (What else is there to do on a 9-10 hour plane ride?) It was hilarious!
Violetfire (298): Hello, and welcome! ::pies::
POSOC (301): I like the caps better, but my all-time favorite is Prarilius Canix.
speller 73 (302): Awesome! What’s Hawaii like?
POSOC,I like it capitalized,as it looks crisper and nicer.it also looks like a cool name.Adios for now, I will return…..tomorrow.
again, I recommend capitalized,by a long shot.
Have fun MBing!
(note:does anyone have the newest issue of Muse? mine does not come in until January. :-(.does anyone have it?what is it about? and please postpone all answers until I come back tomorrow,If I do decide to return)
I bid you Adieu!(French)
I’d go for lower case. Or you could do a mix. speller73, you have no idea how much i envy your situation at his moment.
*appears* what does TOPFOT stand for? *dissappears*
hello VF!
306- The other person from over there. But I am not he/she. I am Prarilius Oob Sir Ozlips Canix.
307- how do you know that?
307 (POSOC)- Not quite.
I ought to be cleaning my room or studying for my calc final right now, but I find myself unwilling. I also need four dollars by tomorrow.
Mm, hand lotion.
301-All caps.
302-Hawaii…*drool*
Hey, Violetfire! Welcome, again.
Hi, Violetfire! Bye, Violetfire! It’s good to know you’re out there doing things you like to do.
Has anyone noticed on the picture for this thread that when Feather’s wings come together in the middle they form a…pie???
(312) OMG, Beavo, you’re right. Wish I could claim credit, but somehow I’d missed that. Then again, it’s the kind of thing that happens when one works with Muses.
I wonder what the filling(s) is(are). That’s certainly a deep dish pie — imagine the mess it would make. In some versions you can just see Kokopelli behind it. Of course, we know Kokopelli is behind it whether you can see him or not.
312- Oh, I see it now. That’s a pretty big pie!
313 – Maybe Kokopelli’s inside the pie and whenever an unsuspecting person walks up, he springs out and scares the living daylights out of them. And maybe that’s why it’s so deep dish.
speaking of the pic, GAPAs, could you please switch it to 3 for a second? that’s the only one i don’t have saved now.
[It is a pleasure to do so, milady. –Admin.]
thank you!
urgh, i have to be cleaning things now. suxxorz. we’re having our first ohio christmas jam, aka loud-noise-party.
I’m still lurking around. Not much goes on during school hours, does it?
Whoof! That picture, the Feathery green fractal-looking one, that’s aneurysm material right there.
I’m a lawyer for the plaintiff in my law class mock trial. I give my super-awesome closing statement tomorrow. Citizens Community Bank must pay my client, Kris Kraft, sums in excess of 100k to compensate for sexual discrimination and sexual harassment. Don’t worry, everyone has made-up names. Kris Kraft, Mary Gold, Carlos Funn, Beebe Gunn….. laaaaame.
(319) Hmm. Maybe I could use that as a selling point somehow….
One says “break a leg” in theater, but I’m not sure what one says to a lawyer before a closing statement. I’m sure you will indeed be super-awesome, in any case.
BLERKeeew disgustingus
That, my friends, is the scientific name of what is living in my throat right now. It makes my throat feel like a swollen Queen Snake that ate something too big.
I’m sick. Already. Unbelievable.
Homeschooling often let me get away through a whole winter without anything, but not this time! I think it might have been the Christmas pageant…
I may be back soon, but if I am not today I just wanted to inform everyone of that…
Red-tailed HAWK, with a scratchy throat

I has no homeworks. Tis good.
*pines for winter break*
I hate Wednesdays. Stuck smack dap in the middle of the week.
Lol, my cat is sitting right next to me and I’m pretending she’s my dæmon.
Movies I want to see:
National Treasure 2
Alvin and the Chipmunks
August Rush
Be Kind Rewind
Hmm. When will I have time?
Dude… I really like this picture. The green, blackish-blue and yelowish one.
Mom is making nutella and choklit cookies. But they are for the cookie party, not me. But there will be extras… but I am stressed, and depressed, and have to much stuff to do. Must go write essay/study for test/actually do homework/study for other tests I don’t have time to study for now/cry because I just failed my playing test. I’ll repost my rant on life in a moment. I just can’t now…
I very much like the current picture. I think it’s my favorite yet.
321~ Ooh, I hope you feel better soon, sonds tough.
Mom made cookies all day, th kitchen was a disaster area, and the entire house (half of which is the kitchen) smelled wonderful. Every time I popped in from slaving away on my homework I`was greeted by cookie fumes. As a result, I ate a ton of them and not feel sick at the mention of food. >.
A deep dish pie would certainly be Kokopelli’s best pie yet. The pieee* would be splattered from head to toe in goey, sticky, sugary blobs of pie mush.
Yes, NaNoWriMo has fiddled with my instinctive WerdCownt. Which is good, because I currently have a B+ in Language Arts and this should be raised quite a bit by all the two page “paragraphs”.
315-I don’t think you’d even need Kokopelli, the pie itself is frightening.
I’m sick too, but no one would belive me if I said I was so I didn’t and just felt horrible throughout the six hours that are skewl. Skewl is not kewl.
*Pieee (Pie-ee), n. Object and/or target of an airborne pie.
325 (Beavo): Agreed about skool. Blarg. Just one more day until break…and a half day where we don’t even do anything. Nice school board, very nice indeed.
Hmm, I didn’t realize that what I typed in was an actual smilie. Sorry R-t H, that makes it look like I’m happy you’re sick. Oops. I guess I should check the smilies next time, eh? *hits self on head*
I am out for two whole weeks!
afdlhkfdgofirlngjfbdfjkhefhrlkeufied
That’s what I think about school right now.
*reluctantly stops self from ranting*
Are the pictures in a rotating cycle or is it a new one every time?
I have school all week this week. Until Friday. And we’re not supposed to watch movies in class on Friday, because our administration is unrealistic. If you’ve got a job, you have an office party for the holidays! And if it’s the day before a break, people aren’t going to learn anything anyways!
I have school until Friday, though we might get a snow day tomorrow….
331~ But they can hope.
298- Hullo. You’re Jadestone’s sister. We’ve spoken once. Over email. Nice to meet you in the blogworld.
308- I know it from reading the Gaboomba!
Today was fun. Today was the last day of school before winter vacation. In Acting I made a petition for the school coffee stand to have bubble tea, and together my scene partner and I got about 30 votes before we gave up. The coffee stand only does sugar-free stuff. *screams in frustration* There is nowhere that sells bubble tea!!!!!!
In Spanish I ate snacks. Chocolate and crackers and tangerines and an interesting Peruvian drink called chica morado (purple girl? How odd). And then I sat around and talked and didn’t work. Now B is comeing to the country one of these weekends and we are going to play D&D! w00t!
Yay. Now I am making food and my sister and I are going to write a play about an alien and put it on for my parents’ Christmas present. If we can cooperate for long enough to finish a play it will be a true Christmas miracle.
¡Hasta mañana!
Hey everyone! (Warning: rambling ahead. Skip to the last line if you want.)
…I’ve been feeling really guilty lately that I suddenly left MB months and months ago with absolutely no explanation. Actually I have no idea how long ago I left, which is also very sad…
I’m such an inconsistent person! And I always thought the blog would be the one thing I would be consistent with. Because it’s so amazing and all.
So really I have no idea why I stopped posting. I think it was a little gradual: first I became a lurker, and then stopped bothering to even lurk. I’m not sure yet if I’m coming back; right now I’m just checking in.
But I always hated when people would just vanish. It made me curious and frustrated to no end. So now that makes me a hypocrite I guess…
IN SHORT: I have not died. *bows*
Bubble tea? What?
hi guys it has been a while but anyways i have a few poits to cover
1. Heatman looks like a toilet
2. Mythbusters Rule
3. So does Megaman Zero

Next random thread should be called January Jardinière.
Here are some other possible titles:
January Jamboree
” Jargon
” Jaunts
” Jazz
I am wearing red gloves. They’re cute, ed with black trim and puff balls on them, however, they do make typing a pain. [/randomness]
341- I like january jutebox!
J’aime January Jazz.
January Jukebox or January Jazz?
January Jaunts,
January Jargon,
January Joviality,
January Jubilee,
January Jubilation,
January Junority,
January Juvenility,
January Juryrigging,
January Juxtaposition……
Those are all I can think of at the moment.
January Jaleo.
Jaleo is Spanish for a racket or an uproar.
Think on these, but for now I must leave.
“What?! Oh, no, it hasn’t been that long that I’ve been on MuseBlog!”
“Darn kid.”
“Yes, it has.”
“Really?”
“But of course. Turn off the computer. Now.”
“But but but!!! Let me finish this post!”
“Turn the computer off.”
“WAIT! I’m almost done! Really! It’ll only be a few more hours!”
“TURN OFF THE COMPUTER NOW!!!!!”
“No! Wait! Just—”
——-FIN——
Well, not QUITE to that stage yet, but why wait? Goodnight my fellow MBers! =[|}
How about
January Jumpstart
Oh, oops, it wasn’t all suppose to be in italics…only the word “that” Fix? Merci gracious GAPAs! Have some pie. [|} (Not thrown)
I like Juxtaposition.
Some interesting suggestions, but do any of them really say January?
336- Very delicious, but a bit of a fad. Whole shops devoted to bubble tea sprang up and went out of business within a year. Very sad. :`(
I know that doesn’t really explain what it is, but I don’t feel like explaining right now. There’s an explanation somewhere on the Cooking and Food thread.
[Link Gnome to the rescue. –Admin]
335-Humph. Then I guess you don’t want this welcome back pie that I was about to throw at you… ah, well. I’ll save it for a newbie, I guess… *wanders off*
PSYKE!
*hurls deep dish pie at Dotty Kay* WELCOME BACK!
Let’s see. January…
Jalapenos (with the tilda thingy)
Jackpot
Jack-in-the-Box
Jackals
Jig
Jitterbugs
Jump-rope
352- no. january is best said this way:
january junction
By the way, SNOW DAY!!!!!
I’m sick. This is stupid, I’ve attended school once this week. I am soo failing math right now.
He. He. Dogs are dumb.
I was trying to take Belle for a walk when she slipped out of her leesh, so I chased her around the yard before opening the door of my mom’s car and inviting her in. She, being a city doggie, loves cars and hopped right in. So I slammed the door and got my mom to trap her while I leeshed her back up and took her into the [fenced] front yard.
357) I know how you feel. I bombed my math final, and now I’ll probably have to take it again next year. *curses intro to algebra*
Today Brandon and I rode to glory on the brilliant waves of my closing speech that cascaded down to crush the opposition. We won the mock trial on both accounts.
Ooh! Ooh! I love mock trials! Mock trials are so awesome. Me be pwning lawyer.
Gutentag,hello,hi,what’s up,yo,ni haw,Yasou,howdy,hola,bonjour,
salut,aloha,good morning,good evening,good afternoon.
I have returned.
I kind of missed EVERYTHING that y’all are talkin’ ’bout, but what does(I have wondered this for so long)PWT PWNS mean?
no one will tel me, and I feel stupid……
See the discussion following https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=272#comment-144.
oh
OH
ohhhhh
I get it.I want to say that Bo should rule the universe instead, but I am so critical ALL THE TIME,so I think it best not to say anything…..
(Bo is my favorite Muse,so is Urania)
Meh. I dislike finals week.
The equivalent slogan for Bo is BO KNOWS. You can see both “Bo Knows” and “Pwt Pwns!” T-shirts and similar artifacts at Musery Loves Company.
Bo Knows?
Mr.Cootnz,my Mom is right behind me.Would you explain how safe it is? I really think it woul help.
so…..
I need a cool topic to talk about.
Any ideas? Maybe foreign languages are cool. Really, though,I mostly just read the conversations and type something if I know that I can comment, sound smart, and sound like I know what’s going on.
Like Beavo.
(367) “Musery Loves Company” is an online shop that Rebecca and I run on CafePress.com, a site that allows people to sell items that they design. We checked CafePress.com out thoroughly before we started using it, and we’ve never had any trouble with it or heard of anyone who has.
Basically, it’s just like any other store, online or otherwise: you can buy things there, or not. I don’t think it collects any information about people who just visit. As far as I know, it’s perfectly safe.
Cool.
Has anyone read the Harry Potter series?

*pies self in face*
woah woah woah,I do not-well,yeah I meant that.
Hello, everyone! ::pies all::
You might want to prepare yourselves for another long post about the Life of Pan, because I have the feeling this may be a little long. It’s also going to be quite scattered and random, by the way.
Yesterday was a really long day–after school I had dinner downtown with some friends and then came back to school to sing in a concert. Then, I stayed and watched the rest of the concert, and didn’t get home until around 10:00. At which point, I did homework.
Today was really fun, though tiring. I had regular school, except in Literary Arts we went ice skating! There is a rink downtown and we went for about an hour. It was really fun, but I got really tired especially after climbing all the extra stairs and skating and such. Then, I walked to my dad’s office and he gave me a ride home, which was flamablamablous. Tomorrow I think we have a school holiday show thing to go see during Literary Arts, but other than that we have a regular day. But then, we have 7 days off for winter break!!!
We’re watching Schindler’s List in World Cultures, has anyone seen it? It is definitely the most depressing movie I have ever seen. I’m not sure how we’re allowed to be watching it, since it’s rated R and we didn’t get parental permission or anything, but oh well. It’s really good, just extremely sad.
Anyway, I might not be on the blog very much for the next few days, because we’re doing a big house-cleaning party thing and I’m going to be spending my free time reading books and making Christmas presents for everyone. And getting all of my winter-break-homework done early. I’ll try to stop by every day, though!
::pies for everyone:: Have a happy day!

Oh, and my mom’s doing a lot better, if anyone was wondering.
369 – Are the items in stock or do they print them out for you after you order them?
I need someone to pie.
(372) They print them as people order them.
aw come on! SOMEONE did read my long and interesting comment on Harry Potter?Right?RIGHT?
sigh….
(371) Glad to hear your mom is doing better, as yes, we have been wondering. Also good to know the Life of Pan is so lively.
276- best wishes to your mom. (and you)
so… anybody notice my absence?
well, my exams are over. i think i did poorly on my art and science. and everything else i did okay on but not amazing. probably should have studied more. *sigh* i wonder when i’ll get my results…
this proves it.
NOBODY READS MY COMMENTS
ARE THEY NOT INTERESTING?
GRRRR*pies EVERYBODY*
Hello, Superkabob. You might have better luck with that comment on the “Deathly Hallows” thread: https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=957
January Jubilee. I like that one. Of course, I like all the ones I thought up. [with the kind help of the dictionary]
Oops, I wasn’t going to do anything but check my email, so….bye!
Oh, and many thanks to the GAPA who fixed comment 348. I hope you enjoyed the pie.
Been there, done that.
How about January “Jabber”?
January Jazz has a nice ring to it. After all, MB seems a bit like jazz: follow basic forms, but improvisation is encouraged.
january joviality?
speaking of jazz, i’m importing a duke ellington cd right now…we have SO many cds that we’ve never gotten around to importing. i just brought down some of the ones that looked good, and i’ve got…32 cds to import, not counting the duke ellington one and counting the 2-disc buddy holly album as one. so it’d actually be 34. *dies* but yay, music! i’m making all my various relatives cds for christmas, along with various other presents (note to self…go to cvs and get blank cds!! i’m almost out, what with everybody’s b-days and all)
Beavo! Let’s have a party! We’re both sick!
My throat is mostly fine, but my nose has been running ALL DAY and now my nose is sore from drying it out
And beavo, did you say somewhere I think that you want to use my name in a nanowrimo? Please explain what part I will be playing and such, somebody put me in an RRR once in a part where I accidentally fired a gun or something, not quite a position I would be good filling
Hi superkabob! I sometimes think people aren’t responding to my posts, but I know I have not responded to some posts at some times becuase I was busy or distracted. People shouldn’t have any reason to purposely avoid your posts, you seem like a nice person!
ATTENTION!!!!!!!
PC’s spdzk points are fine, and I don’t mean to try to stop them, but I have come up with a new idea: piepoints©.
Piepoints© are to be awarded only one at a time for trade. People should list how many piepoints© they have as they are in my name: [(how many piepoints© you have) piepoints©]
Nobody may have more than 100 piepoints© at any time. However, I must always have at least 100 piepoints© (or more if trade requires) because I must be able to have some control over the piepoints© to avoid competition etc.
I will immediately begin awarding one to every person who asks for one. Let’s start!
Red-tailed HAWK

368-I sound like I know what I’m talking about? Cool.
Ma brutha! *pies*
370-Dude, Harry Potter is the pwn. Everybody knows that!
The Harry Potter thread is dying, why don’t you get over there and try to revive it; I can’t think of anything to say that I haven’t.
371-I really want to watch Schindler’s List at one point or another, but I haven’t. Sorry.
Whoops. Didn’t see RtH’s post. My apologies.
386-You’re actually being named after; the character’s name is Hawk Redtail. Hawk has a rare talent called Color Bending. His exterior is white (not like the stereotype white, blank sheet of paper white) so he “bends” or steals color from other objects, turning the chosen part of his body the object’s previous color and draining the color from the object itself. He’s a good guy although a student at the Lair of Eville and he helps four of the main characters escape from the school by changing their appearence. The real Red-Tailed Hawk is a Color Bending wizarding rockstar who’s identity is confusing because hardly anyone knows he’s a Bender and he’s also pretty famous with Nonlumi (or Muggles in Harry Potter).
386-Sooo…nobody can have more than 100 except you, and you get 10,000?
that’s…useful…
387 – Yay! Go Harry Potter! I have read all the books except the seventh at least ten times, and the seventh one very close to eight-
I have about two more chapters!
388-Whoa, confusing, but that sounds fine….heheh! Changing colors, I may try to do that in real life
Ebeth, now I hope you don’t think I’m that greedy
No, in all there are 10,000, and I have them all first just like PC did, just more until people start asking for these things…the idea is three people (about the number of people on the blog with spdzk points now) should not have all of the piepoints©, so there are 10,000, so everyone has lots of them. The only time I would normally have more than 100 would be if all of the points were not taken and so I had extra, but the rule keeps people from hogging all of the points without trading some back into the system.
Now that all of that’s said, who wants one?
It’s really not complicated at all, in short I would only have 100 unless there were not enough bloggers to use the 9,900 evenly.
And yes, GAPAs can have them too, but only 100
Red-tailed HAWK

391-apols. the system is now understood. i didn’t follow the spdzka;ssfj points, so i wouldn’t know. (how do you pronounce those things anyway?)
I don’t want any more. They’re hard to keep track of unless you add them to your name.
392- When you say “spdzk” correctly, it sounds like you’re being electrocuted in the middle of a mouthful of coffee.
aaaagh.
editing my nano is HARD and DISTURBING. but i have to do it. ugh, and i have to add a subplot to explain why the parents don’t go looking for their zombified kids. either they DO look for them but give up, or they’ve been slightly zombie-fied too with orders not too go looking. hmm.
WINTER BREAK STARTS ON SATURDAY
ASKFHAKDSSDF
YAY
NaNo editing is especially annoying for me because I have to change all the temporary words (Muggle has already been fixed to Nonlumi) and some of them are dependant on the plot. Argh, so confusing!
By the way, who has read my novel?
“WINTER BREAK STARTS ON SATURDAY
ASKFHAKDSSDF
YAY”
I concur.
Let’s see know… what color should I make my font today?
HEY!!! IT DIDN’T WORK!!! https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=11#comment-7
Ah, but https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=11#comment-13 .
Oh, now I see. *slaps forehead*
I wish I could make my posts hot pink.
