Speak, Friend, and Enter! If you’re new to the blog, come on in for a little orientation and some pie.
Please read The Rules. You might also glance at The HG2MB (Hitchhiker’s Guide to MuseBlog), which contains helpful hints regarding local customs, lingo, and other peculiarities of the blog; smiley information included.
Welcome, neophytes! *pies*
Welcome, welcome, to our lovely blog! *pies* I’m Alice, who may or may not change her name at some point in the next decade!
Yes, welcome!
*pies neophytes*
Oh wait…There aren’t any here yet. Dang it. I shall return when they arrive.
WELCOME NEOPHYTES! Oh yeah your right there aren’t any here. Anyway when they come heres a messege for them.
Strawberry banana will be waiting.
Hi Newbies! I’m Queen Francios the first who for your imformation is a girl.
5- The fact that your name is “Queen Francois the first” kind of makes that obvious.
But King Wachtelschlag is a girl, and Francois is a boy’s name. Things are rarely obvious here on MuseBlog.
King Wachtelschlag? *looks at who’s here list* Nevermind, then.
Welcome oh neophytes who have had the good fortune to stumble upon the wonder of the modern world known as MuseBlog.
Now if I haven’t scared you off, let’s get down to business. First, I’m speller73, I’ve been on the blog for half a year or so, and I’m a girl.
Here are some tips for posting:
1. Please use correct spelling and grammar. Many of us despise chat speak.
2. Please make sure that your post has a point: to ask a question, to tell an anecdote, to pie someone… We don’t like posts that just say hello or are all smileys.
3. Try not to double post. It’s sometimes hard to avoid and we all do it at some point, but it’s much more concise if you put everything in one post.
Finally, *pies*
hallooo! i am of course the most awesome blogger. naw. i’m joking. just remember to always respect the GAPAs’ and everyone else on here.
Yes and now I’m back to see if there are any new bloggers. The rules I think that are mostly for muse blog are…
1. Don’t think someone is a boy or girl unless you actually know it.
2.not everything here on museblog is real, so just, well, play along.
3.Don’t put too many smilies just because your happy.
4. Follow speller73’s rules and you’ll be fine.
Oh yeah and here’s a messege for you
Strawberry Banana Cream was waiting
SPLAT!
GAPA Paul Baker…Did you do any work on the game Star Wars Battlefront 2?
Neophytes?
*pies*
They aren’t here yet.
Hmm…well….
I’m Cat’s Meow/Meow/CM/Cat/Cat’s Meow, Emperess of Taruva. I recommend to all neophytes about every writing thread ever created, especially the Muse Academy RPG thread.

Things you should know:
1. Don’t pointless post! Posts that contain just a smiley are usually frowned upon.
2. Posts on MuseBlog take some time to go through, since they have to be moderated. Be patient, and don’t post over and over wondering why your posts aren’t showing up.
3. Type out words! Examples: You, not u. Are, not r. You get the point.
And welcome to MuseBlog!
Welcome, welcome to all

Welcome, neophytes!
I am Death. I am teh Grim Reaper.
Okay, not really.
But I am in a good mood today.
Remember, neophytes, me being in a bad mood generally is not good Especially when I’m in a bad mood while posting.
How does one keep Death in a good mood?
Letting me sleep is a good idea. I tend to be in worse moods on weekdays because I have to wake up at 5:30. I am not a morning person.
welcome neophytes. you can expect to see koko’s aprentice around a lot *pies neophytes*. Plus, whenever I come, pies come with me!!! mwahahahahahah
20- Huh, you’re a neophyte yourself. *pies*
21 – People stop calling themselves neophytes at different rates. For some people it only takes a day. For others it takes much longer. Personally, it was about 3 months until I started calling myself a neophyte.
22- Six months. Beat that.
it took me a while to adapt, too.
I’m still new, I guess I shouldn’t even be posting in this thread.
Hm. I guess I still qualify as new. But I have survived a fun 2 months filled with pie. That in itself is great. But whatever.
*whips pie at newbies*
MWAHA-*cough*-HAHA!
Have newbies… and don’t spk msg/chtspk. PLZ.
21 – He’s new enough for me too.
*pies Koko’s apprentice*
Lucky you’re quite used to pie already.
Hmmmmm I guess I’m new I’ve been on for about 4-5 months??? Is that new?????? Oh who cares……
*pies neophytes*
(it’s strawberry banana cream filled blueberry!!!)
28- You’ve been on for months? *skeptic*
I considered myself new…for a long time. The first time (when I came as WizGirl) I was definitely new. Then when I came back 6 months later as Cat’s Meow I was still new. And every time I disappeared and came back I was still newish, because I had to re-adapt to new people and everything.
28- Did you have a different name?
uuuhh…. well, uhh. hi.
Hello, Azure Musical Tone Dash Zero Two Zero! Welcome to MuseBlog, simultaneously the most uptight and the most insane forum on the Net!

i know ive already said this, but i didn’t see the reply-
this should be the first thing you see instead of the random thread. that way, when newcomers come, they come here, and get virtually pied. see, i only discovered this thread after 3 weeks of musebloggerism. i had just gohne on the random thread, and came into the conversation, and no one noticed i was new. i dont want other mbers to have the same fate.

GAPAs: Great And Powerful Administrators. To be respected and obeyed at all times.
Neophytes: You.

choklit: Virtual choklit, used as bribes, awards and fines. Usually distributed in pounds.
Please do not double, triple or quadruple post, as it is very annoying and you will be fined choklit. Also, refrain from using text message or IM speak, as this is not a chatroom, but a place to express ideas. (And throw pie.) Proper punctuation, grammer and capitalization is also apreciated.
That being said, Have some pie!!!!

Hi, I am Logan. I am new to this blogging thing and don’t know how to get started. Can anyone help me get started?
Hi, my name is Ashley. I am new to this blogging thing. How do I get started? Oh, and thanks Midnight fiddler for telling me about this site!
Hi, guys! Here’s basically how MuseBlog works:
1) The GAPAs (Moderators) start a thread about something.
2) You post in the “comments” section.
3) Obseve all rules of common courtesy.
4) Have fun!
Yes and now I’m back to see if there are any new bloggers. The rules I think that are mostly for muse blog are…
1. Don’t think someone is a boy or girl unless you actually know it.

45 and 46~ HEY!! Welcome! It’s easy to get started, you already have. Enjoy your welcome pies, then move out and explore the rest of the blog.
Check out HG2MB (Hichhiker’s guide to MuseBlog) and read the Rules, then come and join us in our madness. It’s quite fun.
If you have any questions, you can ask, someone will just about always answer any questions you’ve got.
Next time we see you I’ll bring my shoebox full of Muses and you can look them over.
One Ring to rule them all,
One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all
And in the darkness…………….Any LOTR fan can tell me this. What
are the missing words? HINT: There are
two words missing. And NO peeking in
your battered copy of The Fellowship!! I
shall return tomorrow and I do hope
someone will get it. ‘Bye!!
50 – bind them, right?
I’ve done LotR plays for the past few summers and I felt like memorizing that. So I did.
blind them.
I wrote a nice parody of that once. with muses.
I also know the first part of that rhyme, for no particular reason at all.
Three for the elven kings under the sky
Seven for the dwarf lords in their halls of stone
Nine for the mortal men, doomed to die
One for the dark lord, on his dark throne
In the land of Mordor where the shadows lie
One ring to rule them all
One ring to find them
One ring to bring them all
And in the darkness bind them
In the land of Mordor where the shadows lie
Aaah!

I m fairly new here, but I know the basic ropes, but one thing i don’t know is what the heck are spzdk points and piepoints?
56-They are made up points by differnt users. You can get them only by having someone else give you theirs. People can trade them for advice, answers to riddles, items in the Musiverse, or just because they feel like it.
Hmmm there we go, that’s better!!!
50 – bind them.
*pies newcomers*
45-46-Those posts are really similar. Strange coincidence. If we haven’t scared you off yet, welcome! *pies*
I’m back again to check for….. what?….. There are no more neophytes? Oh snap, I just got some points (my beats!!!)
61- *eats beats.*
AHHH!!! REAL LIVE NEOPHYTES BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH!!! *faints*
Kidding.
Welcome to the utter insanity named MuseBlog!
*pies Bluenote, ChemicalExperimentation, Lego Ranger, and Soccergirl with four blackberry deep dish’s*
Lord, you’d think with these many Neophytes we’d be able to take over the world, but nooooo….
Aw, peoples, the point thing is getting a bit old. Spdzk and PiePoints were quite enough, in my opinion. *grinchgrinchgrinch*
Yeah. The points don’t work if we keep making new point systems.
PIES!
Hello, neophytes. I’m just here to clear something up. It has been said on this thread that :idea:s are evil. This is not true. :idea:s are actually very nice and friendly, if you do not cross them. Oh, and *PIEPIEPIEPIEPIEPIEPIEPIEPIEPIE*!!!!!!!!!!
65- half are. the other have are evilus.
61- Beats??? Please get rid of those, piepoints and spdzk points are quite enough.
YUUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just kidding.
That proves how rediculus it is, really.
67- I ate them, as you saw in 62.
Well, ANYWAY; welcome Newbies! Now, we are all very friendly here, so if you need any help, THERE IS ALWAYS someone on to help you out. Or almost always, anyway. So, ask away.
Good job, 51, 52 and 53! Thank you, The Man For AEIOU, and wonderful job with the WHOLE poem, Cat’s Meow. Now, tell me this one:
All that is gold does not glitter,

Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not touched by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken:
The crownless again shall be king.
Now, who can tell me who said this at The Council of Elrond.
And one more: What race is Elrond? Man, Elf, Dwarve or Hobbit?
THE REWARD: 5000 SPZDK POINTS TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT GET IT!!!
P.S. OXLIN TOO. 5000 SPZDK PTS. TO OXLIN, CAT’S MEOW AND THE MAN FOR AEIOU.
P.P.S. THANKS, GUYS!!
72-I don’t know what is going on, but spdzk points are PC’s and he might not like you inventing more spdzk points. I think there were 100 that he actually made. But I’m not sure, you’ll have to check with him…
Red-tailed HAWK

73- yes. and they are from another universe.
I’m sorry….. *stares sadly at the floor* I just feel….. well…. left out……..

You can still offer points, once you get some. Spdzk and Pie Points, I mean.
whatever… *pies the neophytes that needed pieing*
You need more pies? Are you kidding?
*SHIPS IN AN INFINITE NUMBER OF PIES*
Are you happy?
*gets pied*
Welcome, Neophytes! Feel free to jump right in and converse. Don’t be shy about it! *pies and hugs all neophytes*
RE points: You wouldn’t want the various points *gasp* INFLATING, would you?
79 – Gosh, no. My 2 1/2 spzdk points and 10,000 pie points are worthless as they are, considering they’re not in my name.
I think we should have a thread to figure this whole points thing out. And limit it to a certain number, while still making sure that everybody can get them. Perhaps…
spzdk points: Only 100 exist. Very hard to get and very prized.
Pie Points: A couple million exist. Easy to get, so everyone who wants them can have them.
Point of Honor (Or some other name): Very, very hard to get – only awarded to those have done some amazing act of kindness/helpfulness to the MuseBlog community. People can be nominated on the random thread, or whatever thread the “amazing act” was on and then if there are enough supportors the GAPAs can bestow it on the lucky blogger. Reasons for awarding could include settling a huge dispute, suggesting a MuseBlog-changing thread, or just being an awesome friend.
I dunno – just an idea. Take it or leave it.
its ok newbies, jump in to a chat!!! dont b afraid!!
81-Well, not exactly CHAT as such, but you’re correct about the jumping in part and the not being afraid part as well.
What? uv run out of pies?
*pies*
whats the difference between a chat and a forum?
Chat uses nearly no spelling or grammar, and usually goes pretty fast. A forum uses spelling and grammar (usually) and goes at a slower, more leisurely pace.
Welcome NEOphytes!
also, unless you have experiance, chat can be hard tounderstand…
wtR U dn? wn2G2 mve? , for example.
Ello,
I am Lindsay LohanNeophytes!*pies all newcomers with tofu and bananna pies*
Welcome, Newcomers! *Pies*
Cat’s Meow-PC invented spdzk points and only made 100, and I *bows* invented Piepoints, and only created 10,000. I had them all, but am handing them out. Do you want any? Oh, and Kagy invented a small number of KAG points to get people onto the Just Friends thread, and I have just kept those that she gave me. They aren’t very common, and aren’t used for trading really because they are so rare…
So basically, there are only that many points. It all started casually on the random thread, and I created piepoints, just as valuable as spdzk points, because with more of them more people will be able to have them…as soon as I can hand them out!
Red-tailed HAWK

87- it all started on the general science thread. which I started. So I start it, in that odd why of thinking.
86 – Been watching “Achmed the Dead Terrorist” by any chance?
87- *batter eylashes* Can I have some? If you don’t, I’ll continue to bat eyelashes, annoying everyone! muhahaha! *bats bats bats bats!*
Welcome Newbs! Please remember to respect other people’s ideas for optimal enjoyment.
he110! how do u post here?!!@!@1?
I belive that you’ve figured that out! Welcome to the loony bin called MuseBlog.
*deep dish pies*
Hello neophytes! *pies*
92- Well, it seems that you’ve figured out how to post, but the proper way to post is by using correct spelling and grammar. I think that reading the Rules and the HG2MB would be beneficial to you.
Wow. that was fast.
The Man For Aeiou A.K.A. pie lord78.
Welcome Pielord! Please tell us if we can be of any assisstance! In the mean time, correct spelling and grammar helps. Read the Rules and the guide, and listen when a person who’s been on the blog for a while tells you to calm down or something.
The spacebar on this keyboardkeepsstickin.AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH! Y o u h a v e t o h i t i t r e a l l y h a r d !
96- see post 95. I was testing people.
97- *disapointment hits* Awww. Pielord sounded funny!
One tip for Neophytes, respect your fellow MBers and they will repect you
respect spelling and grammar rules.
Don’t just post smilies or somthing like that,
Don’t put random things on threads dedicated to non-random things,
read the HG2MB and the Rules
Are there any neophytes here? *100 hundreth post?*
Hi people!!!
I am a neophyte!!! if that’s what u people call it…
I am very, very confused……
one thing is- why do you guys keep saying *pies* ?
By the way, i did read the rules, but they didn’t help much…
is anybody even here? i think i came too late… oh well.
101- Hi con.
yes, we call people neophytes here.\
please spell you right.
try the HG2MB
we don’t say *pie* we throw pies. we just can’t do that over the internet.
I’m here.
but you might not be.
*PI* 3.14159…
*pies cat-obsessed neophyte*
No, you didn’t come too late. It’s never too late to get pied in welcome. “*pies*” refers to the act of throwing a pie at someone. The asterisks indicate an action, rather than just saying something.
Ok that makes a lot of sense, about the pies…
sorry about spelling you wrong…
wow, groundhog22, you wrote at 3 in the morning??! at least that is what my computer says… its clock is kind-of broken though…
i think i am boring you guys now because i have nothing really interesting to say, sorry!
-Daisy*chain -a.k.a- cat-obsessed neophyte
hi people
who are you
what i am doing here
my friend told me about this so yah
hi hi bye bye
um, yeah
piggy person is my friend…
she didn’t actually even read the magazine…
*pies piggy person*
Welcome, piggy person. Thanks for stopping by. Here’s some pie. Watch it fly. Hello and bye bye!
Nice poem!
Welcome, Newcomers! Daisy Chain and Piggy Person~ *Pies!!*
And yes, I say newcomer, newbie, etc, not neophyte. To me, Neophyte sounds really like an insult, and so I will not call a friend that!
*Does not use new term*
Welcome, again, you will soon get used to things. I am the friendly Red-tailed HAWK, I have been on this blog for over a year, and so can show you around if you have any questions! There are “threads” (this is one) for discussion, threads for round robin writing, and threads for adventures in the imaginary lands of Muse. The last category may confuse you at first, but I have a great deal of knowledge in the subject if you have any questions about it…
Red-tailed HAWK

where is everybody today?
yesterday I got a ton of responses… even though i left…
*turn slightly red*
I’m so absolutely happy it’s the vacation!!! is anybody going away somewhere? I’m going to Lake Placid…
oh, hi Red-tailed HAWK
you’re welcoming piggy person, but I’m not sure piggy person will be going on here, she never actually read Muse! *gasp, faint, revive*
I DO have a question about the last category… what is it?
Round Robin writing sounds fun, so where can I try it?
thanks!
110- *pies* Hi. Sorry, i’d give yo a well-rehearsed welcoming speech, but I’m kinda stressed right now.
why are you stressed? Are you packing for a trip or something?
113: This is a post I made five minutes ago:
235. Vixen in the Eyes of the Moon | February 15th, 2008 at 5:12 pm
I’m really scared right now. A major road in Copenhagen has been set fire to, and the street is a few blocks away from my apartment. and there are really close set apartment buildings everywhere in that area. I can’t get in touch with my parents or the neighbors or anybody who are at home. So I called a friend from class who lives a block away from my families apartment, and she said that she was out drinking. So I asked her what she was drinking, feeling rather nervous, and she just started laughing. I could just tell that the little absolutely idiotic cow is drunk, so I told her to be careful and to call me if she hears about the fire.
My stomach just really hurts right now. The fire started that there were some stupid teens out protesting police racsism, so they poored gasoline onto a parking lot off this road and then set fire to it with home made bombs. Aparently there’s stuf like this happening all over Copenhagen, and the police is just trying to calm everyone down, but it sounds like a the teens were trying (are trying) to start a riot, which would prove deadly in the cold and crowded streestreets. Any moral support, anyone? I really need some right now.
OMG
That’s really scary!! How did you hear about this? Is it on the news?
I’m getting freaked out, and I’m not even there! I would be really scared myself if that happened to me! *shudders*
My moral support to you!
115- Thanks.yeah, it was on the news. There’s been some tension the past few nights in the city, and they were listing the streets where people were arrested/ small fires/ medium fires/ bomb threats/etc, and they all of a sudden say this street! And then they zoom in on a picture of a fir on this street, and they said that if it spreads then the station will actch fire, and any damage to the tracks will put down the trains going through there, so they just started calling in all the fire squad units… I hope they can catch the fire quickly as the trains are always busy on saterdays and I need to get home tomorrow.
Wow that’s really scary!
I hope everything works out..
well, I gotta go…. good luck to you!
Daisy*chain:
The Muse adventures are very confusing. I will attempt to summarize them:
There is a large planet we call Muse. On this planet, there are a few mapped out lands.
One of these lands is called Museica, and it is divided into countries named after the muses. There is essentially a prime minister over each country, and we call these people Prime Musers. I am Prime Muser of CHAD (The country) myself.
There is another Country called Muserland. The countries within are named after the elements, ICE, WATER, FIRE, EARTH, AIR, PLASMA, and SHADOW. There are Prime Musers here as well, and I am Prime Muser of ICE.
There is a small isle discovered by Musers called Pie Isle. I am not involved with this isle really, it is mainly just being explored at this point…
Besides a few other countries not as related to Muse, There are a few that have been discovered to date. I will address them now:
There have been many pie wars in the past, during which sides formed and people fought with pies. I formed a side called The Great and Wholly Sugar-filled Empire of Zemtee, or Zemtee for short. Zemtee soon became much more than a side fighting in the pie war. It is now a great empire, fighting to protect the Muse lands (Museica, Muserland…) and be a helpful and strong country. Zemtee has a large area attached to muserland, and two other countries. I will direct you to more information on Zemtee if you are interested in joining our nation, possibly becoming a Great Chief if you wish…
Red-tailed HAWK

There are other worlds too, likt the Pieceful Pie Planet (PPP), in which I pwn Kokonillendor. You can move in if you like.
Come on! Post in other threads too, not just this one.
118- pie isle is not being explored right now. it’s not being thought of.
YAY NEOPHYTES!
YAY NEOPHYTES! Welcome to Museblog, that magical land where all your dreams will come true. Don’t be afraid to speak out on any of the threads, (just not Pointlessly). Y’all’ll (contraction of “you all will”) catch on in no time. Oh, and *PIE*!
119- PPP is a few star system over from museica.
122 – REALLY??? I never knew that. Funny how I am in both at the same time. WEIRD.
123- no, not funny. almost every one is the same.
124 – I was being sarcastic…
89-Eep, yes. Some parts are funny, but I admit that some aren’t too appropriate/nice. Still…
111- Oh Daisy Chain, whom I may never see again but hopefully will, I beseech you, please, please, PLEASE come to the Round Robin Riting! Here’s a link:
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1213#comments
We will explain EVERYTHING. And I won’t even make you read the whole thing. *begs*
Um, ok I will go there…..
I can’t make head or tail of it though….
I will try reading it through later, I have a guest over now- gotta go!
EAT PIE ALL YOU INFERIOR NEOBYTES!
Hi people! wat’s up

neophytes rock.
may your pie be squishy,

YES THEY DO! How DARE You deny the excellency of the hpbs
132- look here:
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1096
HPBs are evil! Evviiillllll! *shudders*
I have some questions that has been bothering me for a while…
What does ‘pwn’ mean?
Also, what are spdzk points?
please explain!
pwn means own but with a P.
spdzk points are these points that ithink LaMort made up no offense if it was someone else. but anyways people who has the points can give them away. it’s the same thing with pie points and Kagpoints. so here: have 22 Kagpoints!
Actually, POSOC, then known as Prarilius Canix, invented spdzk points here.
huzzah!! I have points! : mrgreen : yay! yay! yay!
ok I’m done.
Other question:
How do you make some words have a line through them?
Like at the top in the title, and I saw Alice doing that…
I’d love to know how to…
pointmeter:
22Kagpoints
How does one aquire/trade spdzk/pie/KAG points?
Yes, how DO you get points?
*feels lonely without any points*
139- You have to wait for someone to offer them. Do you want any?
Can somebody please tell me how you cross words out?
Also, how do you make words be in italics?
To cross cross words out:
<strike>words words words</strike> =
words words wordsTo put words into italics:
<i>words words words</i> = words words words
words words wordsIf you want to try formatting and smileys, please do it on the HTML Practice thread.
HELLO, NEOPHYTES.

(147) badrang, you can simply tell us about yourself on this thread if you like. As for making requests to administrators, the Suggestion Box is useful, or you can post something on an appropriate thread.
(148) To close formatting, you have to use an ending code, which is the same as the starting one, except with a slash mark. For your example, you’d type </strike>. I can fix it for you, but I’m not sure where you wanted the strike through to end.
It did it agen

A good welcome thanks! Sir all mighty prime muser of air, if his humbleness badrang could please be accepted into your greatnesse’s presence to humbly ask to be the apprentice/air to the muser of Air throne, I will humbly serve your air brainedness and not set my 90000000000000000000000001 sylphs on you. I shall pour out my tornado of knowledge upon you, and my extensive knowledge of air magic shall come to good use. Oh all mighty muser POSNC, your humble heir-to-be, badrang, *bow* ( =)) =)) =)) to all those who gave me the honor, I return the favour. =)) P.S I’m afraid I don’t like donuts, sorry (but thanks for the rest *yum*).

156- Actually, his name is POSOC (acronym for Prarilius Oob Sir Ozlips Canix). Why do you want to be Prime Muser of air?
156- Well, you’re obviously devoted to the job and would carry its duties out with zeal. You could be Vice Prime Muser, I suppose. Meet me on the Chronicles of Museica thread and we’ll discuss terms.
Zeal, ah, i luv that word.
Okay, I DO NOT know why my post usually above the awaiting moderation is gone. Did I do something wrong?
162~ No, it means that now we can all read your post. In other words, that the GAPAs have read it over, decided that you aren’t a terrorist or stalker or that if a terrorist or stalker read what you wrote that they couldn’t hurt you by the information you gave.
In short, no, you’ve done nothing wrong.
Welcome aboard! *pies* =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|} =[|}
Hey, badrang, don’t know if anyone else’s pointed this out, but did you get your name from a Redwall book?
Also, didn’t we have at least one other eragon before? Or is it the same person? *is confused*
No, I think he was eragon with some random numbers after it.
