Midnight Fiddler reminded Rebecca of this idea when she (Midnight Fiddler) demonstrated her truly remarkable eyebrow maneuvers. (Lady B.’s own weird talent is more humble: crossing and uncrossing her toes.) What’s yours?

I can make a clover with my tongue. It creeps most people out
Correctly prounouncing Russian, a language I don’t speak, drawing on my knowledge of the Greek alphabet, which is related to the Cyrillic.
I have next to no Goofy Talents!
Hmm.
I can make a clover with my tongue, too, but that’s really all I can think of.
*thinks*
I can wiggle my ears er…goofily.
I don’t have any goofy talents.
I can move my eyebrows independently (and even do the wave!), sing the alphabet song three times without taking a breath and twist my mouth into strange shapes. Both ways.
I can’t wriggle my ears like my mom can, or touch my nose with the tip of my tongue like both my parents can. *sigh* but I still attempt it now and then…..
My ears move up and down when I smile
=]
I can cross only one eye. It’s pretty creepy. I can also make a noise like a seal. It rawks.

I can bend my thumb backwards until it touches my wrist.
10- Ditto.
I know a ton of useless trivia… does that count?
I can freak NAPOI out with my Titan… er…craziness.
Does that count?
*spies an orange*
Oh my, it’s TITAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
13-Yes, you sure can.
My talent is…uh…being a nerd? Hiding my feelings? Falling in love with hedgehogs(pigs)?
2-Really? You can pronounce Russian? I can too, but it’s my native language. I wish I could test you…
10-OUCH.
5-Darn you! I can’t wiggle my ears no matter how hard I try!
1, 4-That’s genetic. I hope you know that. However, it does coundt as a talent.
14,15- Oh hi, you’re here! Now let me freak you out…
*runs in*
Kokopollihedron shirts on musery! Kokopollihedron shirts on musery!
*runs to next thread*
16-oh no u don’t…
sorry for the double post.
I can sing “The Elements Song”, one of the surest signs of geekiness.
I can twist my lips and hold them in place indefinitely.
20 – Are you sure? Have you tried to hold them there indefinitely?
19-Yay! So can I! There’s antimony, arsenic, aluminum, selin-*Is Pied*
Sorry, that was actually me speaking!
I ♥ the elements song, but I can’t sing it.
24-I can’t sing it very well, mind you! *Is Tone-Deaf*
I can sing Who’s next!First we got the bomb, and that was good, cause we love peace and motherhoodThen Russia got the bomb, but that’s okaycause the balance of power is- *seriously rethinks about singing this song* *pies self*
21- I just started. It’s 3:19. Let’s see how much longer I can do it.
Meh. I could only do it for five minutes.
I can flare my nostrils (hehe, disgusting) wiggle my ears, move my scalp back and forth, twist my elbow so it’s facing up… stupid pins… does whistling the entire Revolver cd none stop count? no? okay then, I can read things upside dowm (I don’t think that counts either, does it?)
Well, I don’t know the song, but I memorized the periodic table!
Let’s see…what can I do…
I can also cross only one eye, and do this weird twisty shoulder thing, and freak out my friends by reading “too fast”.
I have a talent for writing songs! *dashes off to find favorites*
28 – So not indefinitely!
I can wiggle my ears.
I can sing the alphabet song five times in one breath and am fluent in Pig Latin.
I can talk really quickly if I really want to, but I run out of things to talk about really quickly.
I can do something similar to MissSwann. I can cross one eye, and the other goes up. I can also read and write legibly upside down. (does that count?)
I can wiggle my ears. that is it.
I can flare my nostrils like a bunny! A normal, naturally colored one, mind.
If we ever meet, I’d rather not see the eye-crossing trick, please.
I have no unusual talents at all — just an odd outlook on life.
35- Figures. I can make this *cough* odd face. Eye-crossing, tongue sticking out, ears held up like an elf, and pinching my nose. AT ONCE. Mad skittles! w00t!
40 –
38 – Me too!
I can get this evil bunny that my friend is pet-sitting (it is EVIL in league with the HPBs, I expect) to calm down and let me pet him.
I can build highly amusing Sims 2 houses.
I can wiggle my ears and read really fast; I can also tell when I’m acting stupid, but, unfortunately, that doesn’t usually stop me
I’m good at trivia; does that count? I have a talent for remembering useless facts, such as the difference between a feb and a grebe. I can also remember non-useless facts, such as historical facts and directions, so I guess it is a useful talent.
I can pet bees and make my tongue into a cloverleaf shape — simultaneously or otherwise.
I can also recite the poem “Jabberwocky” by heart and with great feeling.
Just to let you GAPAs know — you might want to change the blue bars on the comments, because I can’t see the link in Rosanne’s name in post 44 — I had to highlight it to figure out who it was. Different color, perhaps?
I can wiggle my scalp, but I haven’t figured out how to wiggle my ears yet (except for when I smile). I’m working on it
I can say all of the states in alphabetical order, thanks to Fifty Nifty! (Or whatever that song is called)
(45) Let’s see how orange works.
45- Fifty, nifty, united states, shout em! scout em! tell all about em! (or something like that, i don’t know the song, my little brother does)
46- Pretty colors, Robert! The blog is all colorful and gorgeous!
My tongue can pick my nose.
We could start a circus.
Does anyone know the song of which “The Elements” is a parody?
48-………………………………. I think I know… I know my friend knows………..
*calls friend*
Nope.
Does googling count as cheating?
It doesn’t count as knowing the song.
This colorful orange blog reminds me of Titan.
Oranges are Titanite!
Orange!
Orange!
I can freak out NAPOI…
I can talk about Titan until someone feels annoyed.
Oh well…
Was the “if we ever meet, I’d rather not see the eye-crossing trick” for me?
If it was, I’m not offended. It creeps a lot of people out.
48 – Modern Major General
I don’t suppose spelling words counts.
I THOUGHT I WAS SEEING THINGS WHEN I FIRST LOADED THIS PAGE!!!
I’m pretty good at using my watch face as a signal mirror. Does that count?
I can defeat a level 8 com. with 2 lives in 30 seconds (SSBB) using any character except Peach, Mario, Luigi, and Pickachu.
I instantly turn some words into colors.
I like this thread. I was just reading down it, and giggling hysterically.
45- I am glad my country only has 10 provinces and 3 territories! Much less memorizing. (although I did have to, at one point, memorize the thirteen colonies)
I can make really loud clicking noises with my tongue, at least twice as loud as I normally talk.
It is very annoying to others.
44-Jabberwocky! Yay!
48-“I am the very model of a modern major general…”
47 – Ohhhhhhhhhhh how I hate that song. I never learned it (they teach it to all of the kids in 5th grade in our district), but I’ve heard it. That is soooooooooo annoying.
I just looked down at upcoming birthdays and realized that my birthday is on the same day as Koko du Pelle. Same year too. So now you know.
9,30,36- I can also only cross one eye- it freaked my mom out so she took me to the ophthalmologist and we found out that it’s do to a week muscle in my eye. I now have to do these exercises 10 minutes a day. But I don’t because I think the eye thingy is kind of cool.
(I am attempting a smiley- I hope it works!)

The Elements

There’s antimony, arsenic, aluminum, selenium,
And hydrogen and oxygen and nitrogen and rhenium,
And nickel, neodymium, neptunium, germanium,
And iron, americium, ruthenium, uranium,
Europium, zirconium, lutetium, vanadium,
And lanthanum and osmium and astatine and radium,
And gold, protactinium and indium and gallium,
And iodine and thorium and thulium and thallium.
There’s yttrium, ytterbium, actinium, rubidium,
And boron, gadolinium, niobium, iridium,
And strontium and silicon and silver and samarium,
And bismuth, bromine, lithium, beryllium, and barium.
There’s holmium and helium and hafnium and erbium,
And phosphorus and francium and fluorine and terbium,
And manganese and mercury, molybdenum, magnesium,
Dysprosium and scandium and cerium and cesium.
And lead, praseodymium, and platinum, plutonium,
Palladium, promethium, potassium, polonium,
And tantalum, technetium, titanium, tellurium,
And cadmium and calcium and chromium and curium.
There’s sulfur, californium, and fermium, berkelium,
And also mendelevium, einsteinium, nobelium,
And argon, krypton, neon, radon, xenon, zinc, and rhodium,
And chlorine, carbon, cobalt, copper, tungsten, tin, and sodium.
These are the only ones of which the news has come to Ha’vard,
And there may be many others, but they haven’t been discavard.
I used to have a lazy eye, but it’s fixed now. I also found out that my eyes are a little bit lopsided. And it’s not a sight problem. I have 20-20 vision.
*Pies Brendan the Fforde Ffan Vigorously*
*pies Brendan vigorously as well*
65) Same here. Whenever I blink I look like I’m winking, and my right eyes doens’t completely close unless I’m deep asleep or make a deal out of closing it.
34~ Five times? wow, how fast do you do it? I already sing it like a blur of words for just three times….hmm, I’ll have to practice. I-ay peak-say Ig-pay Atin-lay oo-tay, and-ay I-ay an-cay peac-say it-ay o-say ast-fay hat-tay y-may friends-fay an’t-cay always-ay understand-ay e-may.
9,30,36, 63: I can do the one-eyed cross-eyed thing too. And I also have the “talent” of seeing double all the time
I can’t even cross my eyes in the normal way. Does that count as an inverse talent?
Hey, Rosanne, next time we meet, we should do a Jabberwocky duet! I learned it for a fifth-grade drama class and have never forgotten it.
I have terrible vision… I guess a talent I have is convincing other people to try on my glasses (which are -5.00 prescription) and watching them either:
1) Freak out
2) Give them back to me immediately
3) Get a headache
w-w-what happened to the blog, GAPAs?
44- I can do Jabberwocky too!
And I can hypnotize snakes.
71~ You can’t? Wow. Sure, that counts as a talent! huh, I can cross my eyes, and I think I can make them go up and down in opposite directions too. But I might be wrong, or imagining it.
72~ Ouch. I tried on my Dad’s glasses once and everything was all blurry.
I took them off quick, but it felt weird.
(75) Nope. It was very frustrating when I read Margaret Livingstone’s Vision and Art: the Biology of Seeing and couldn’t do the optical tricks that relied on crossing one’s eyes. Adding insult to injury, the author said something about how these were so much easier to do than some of the other exercises (the ones I had no problem with), but try every which way I could, I never got them to work. Fascinating book, by the way.
Rebecca (71), a Jabberwocky duet would be delightful!
70-Yes, but can anyone else make their other eye go a different direction?
78 – I MET SOMEONE WHO COULD DO THAT. It was really freaky.
78- Me! I can! *does freaky eye thing* My brother just screamed.
WHOAH. WHOAH. WHOAH. What happened to the pretty colorful blog????????????????? It’s back to plain, blue and green blog!!!!!!!!!!! GAPAs?????
80-Lucky. My brother’s used to it. Plus he’s still asleep, so I can’t do anything to him right now.
The blog changed colors twice yesterday, and now it’s back to regular old blog colors. What’s going on??
Alice (74), cool that you can hypnotize snakes. Does reciting Jabberwocky at them do it?
Reciting Jabberwocky hypnotizes snakes? I must try it out…
19- And hydrogen, and oxygen, and nitrogen, and rhenium… I can also breathe in through my eyes.
24-I can’t sing it cuz i dont know it. can u teach me? *makes bambi eyes*

I just c and p’ed that. What does the music sound like?
81-Once, the blog ended up looking all…simple. I freaked out. The GAPAs never answered my frantic questions about it.
I can do weir/interesting things with my tongue. THis involves flipping and curling it. I can also make my knees purr…sometimes.
Other than that, I am talent free…
85-You use the tune of “The Modern Major General”, from “Pirate of Penzance”, a Gilbert+Sullivan Opera/Operetta!
GAPAs, whazzup with the blog colours?????????????
Nothing, at the moment. Is there?
I have an video on the website of our town’s newspaper of me singing it, but I think it would give away too much personal information.
82- I don’t know. I’ll have to try it next time I find a snake, which is not a regular occurrence now that I live in town.
Can anyone else breathe in through their eyes? I can also make one eye look out, and the other one look straight.
92- Breathe in throught thier eyes? 8 O Is that even remotely possible? I can do the one out, one straight, but eye respiratory?
92- Are you a mutant?
I can both read and write backwards, but I have an advantage because I’m left handed. Go left handed people!
I’m also left haded and can write with my toes.
I can make the sound of wet boots through mud with my mouth.
97-Yes, you can!
I can read upside-down and backwards, and write backwards.
And I’m right-handed.
94- I bet she(he???) is!
I can crack my neck REEEEALLY loud. I woke everyone in my cabin up at camp last year cracking my neck.
98- to your great annoyance…
Ummm…. Does playing the ukulele count as a goofy talent?
102-Yep!
103- Awesome! *plays Tiptoe Through the Tulips* Hm. I wonder if it’s possible to play the Llama Song on the uke…
104- HERE’S A LLAMA THERE’S A LLAMA THERE’S ANOTHER LITTLE LLAMA FUNNY LLAMA FUZZY LLAMA LLAMA LLAMA LLAMA DUCK!
Goofy talents? Uh…
I can wiggle my eyes…
I do spazz jigs.
…………………………………..Enough said.
I can use mirror writing,
I-ay an-cay eak-spay ig-pay atin-lay uently-flay,
I can go crosseyed while wearing contacts. Or glasses.
Read HPATGOF (Harry Potter 4) in 2 hours…or so…
I read college level,
I can see Broadway shows;
AND…….
I do spazz jigs.
…………………………………..Enough said.
108-College Level? Such As?
Mmm-uay…I-ay an’t-cay ame-nay one-ay ight-ray ow-nay, Ookworm-bay..
I stick to T-rated manga as my main source of entertainment. And the Redwall books and Animorphs books and Circle Of Three books and Warriors books and Seekers and The Mysterious Benedict Society books and…
…my room is a library.
Seriously.
110-Those are good books…
111-I-ay now-kay!
The manga (Bleach) and Redwall are the best.
I can touch my nose with my tongue, I can speak in an annoying high pitch, and I can ring up concessions orders at the cinema while holding a conversation with one of my fellow popcorn drones.
I can go SUPER high. If you heard me, you’d probably go insane-that is, if I manage to hold it.
I just tried it on my little brother. He plugged his ears and screamed for me to stop.
I read the last Harry Potter in less than a day (the day it cam out, though I forgot how many hours…)
I can sing the llama song in 1 minute.
I can read at High School level, whatever that is. That’s what my teacher said (?)
When I sing at an annoyingly high pitched voice my voice sounds kinda scratchy or however you wanna put it.
I can talk in 12 different accents. (my favorite is Aussie, I’m best at British because I kinda actually have a mix of a British/Mid-western accent)
I can’t do many things….
115- AW man it was going so long without one….
I was getting kinda sick of looking at this thread and seeing no new posts. DON’T KILL ME.
I can play my cello with just my index finger(and well, I might add!)
I can soeak soanish
I can sing soprano so it cracks a wine glass
YAY!
118-You can crack wine glasses with your voice?
120- Woah, woah, woah, why is your name linkified to something I can only assume is your blog? That’s not allowed, you know, and I didn’t think you even could do that.
(120) Oops. That was a bit of spam that leaked through.
121–hey, you’re right!
120–RoseQuartz is, of course, correct–links to external websites are against the rules. But, out of curiosity, how did you get it to linkify your name? I’ve tried to make my name look linked like the GAPAs (the admins), not to anywhere but maybe an internal webpage, but…….never worked. I wanted to impersonate a GAPA (for fun, y’know).
121–(the new 121). Odd, it was actually intelligent sounding spam. that is, it actually made (sorta) sense. weird….
(123) Yes, there’s some clever spam out there. Some of them sound quite reasonable. Some of them take a little detective work to figure out. Most of the time, they give themselves away by making a comment utterly inappropriate for the thread on which they’re posted, or they contain links. Often we recognize the text from previous encounters. This particular one I usually catch, but I was in the middle of an Internet crisis of things posting and not posting and not working at all….
Robert long ago removed the URL slot from the comment box, which is why you can’t linkify your name. Spam bypasses that somehow. The one advantage of that is it gives us one more way to spot the pests.
I can turn my tongue into a shamrock, wiggle my ears, split my palm… The list goes on. I have a talent for stealing pens too. Don’t ask. I always return them too.
125- Me too (the first one). I can also cross and uncross the toes on my right foot.
All of them?
127- All except the middle toe.
I can balance objects on one finger pretty well.
I can eat lots of food on a boat without getting seasick. And I´m good at doing several things at a time (like reading a book and listening to my I-pod at the same time, or daydreaming while paying attention, or doing my math homework in latin and vica versa). Come to think of it, I’m also good at freaking people out and singing exactly a half-note of key.
I can watch five episodes of House and become more or less high afterwards.
I can make terribly crude faces, sing all of the words to “I Am The Walrus” (although I prefer not to. . . if you know all the lyrics you’ll know why), speak inhumanly fast, multitask, and [drumroll] scream! REALLY, REALLY LOUDLY.
I don’t know what I’m supposed to this thing I can do, or if it is goofy… but I see aura. It is making me feel strange… *stares at yellow pencil* Purple. Magenta to violet. Pretty.
I don’t have any goofy talents at the moment, none that I can remember. I can’t even scream loudly (unless I’m mad at my brother). *feels boring*
I have a talent for extreme weirdosity. If you don’t know what that means, just ask. I can also read a five-inch-thick book in under 4 hours.
You can’t see a pencil’s aura. Only living things have auras.
I’m great at getting into embarrassing situations- freakishly great.
134) I’m also a fast reader.
135- Not really. Living things have brighter ones, as far as I know.
I can make my musle be super flat and skinny
I can do this cross-eyed trick, which goes as follows: Cross eyes, then uncross and recross one eye at a time. Really fast.
139- I can do that to! It’s fun!
I can ride a unicicle. Quite well
the list goes on but i’m busy
45- goodness I really dont like that song. In fifth grade, for our “graduation” we were supposed to sing it but we didnt because we were being “immature” during rehesal. Boy were we releaved.
I can have long annoying arguments with myself. And I can hurt myself on accident very easily.
Argument of the day:
Get up! It’s your birthday!
You know it’s five in the morning?
Yes.
THEN GO AWAY!!!!!!
Get up, its your birthday!
I seriously don’t care. I’m trying to sleep.
Get up! NOW!
GO AWAY! Yoiu leave me alone.
*5:00 in the morning*
*15 minutes later*
*repeats*
My own strange talent is probably the ability to recite the name, hair color, and cause of death of all of Fëanor’s 7 sons (this won’t make sense unless you’ve read The Silmarillion).
Actually, most of my weird talents involve Middle-earth………
My Talent: To recite the lyrics or any Paramore,Beatles, Carole King, MCR, or Panic at the Disco song. Seriously. Fire one at me, I’ll sing it (off-key) to you with every word correct, and optional guitar chords.
My talents:
• Spobeakobing flobuobent Obenglobish
• Reading fast
• Crossing one eye at a time (I cross both my eyes, then slowly uncross one)
• Figuring out how to play songs on the violin, by ear
I know a girl who can crack her knuckles. It’s sickening and I hate it. XP
