I’m actually feeling quite delirious right now. Maybe it’s because I’m up so late… I’m going to bed. *goes to bed* *sleeps* *snore*
I’m going to go be temporarily dead now, as the poem says.
I keep feeling like it is chirtmas
only 24 more shopping day!
the picuire is great!
was not this the name of the thread last time?
oh, and GAPAs, I can not post on the morphing chameleon, snice there is no post box. would you fix that?
Happy December.
I am off to FAIL at trebuchet-building.
(3) Wow, you’re right. I thought “December Delirium” sounded familiar, but I didn’t go back and check. I’ve changed it so that we’re no longer delirious; now we’re deranged.
could the GAPA who posted #4 please answer?
(6, 3) Changed my mind again.
(4) Done.
what a wonderful picture! it’s all koko snowflakey!
I really like the picture, great job Rebecca! When I first looked at it, I thought, “oh, well that’s Kokopelli!” And then, I looked at it for a second, and thought, “wait…maybe it’s not?” Then, after looking it for a bit longer, I finally saw Kokopelli. It’s great!
why not just december delirium darangemnt deliquescence?
Anybody here?
*ECHO…..ECHo….ECho….Echo…..echo*
I’ve been posting on the museblog all the livelong dayayay.
I’ve been posting on the museblog just to pass the time away
can’t the GAPAs see my post yet? GAPAs moderate my post
Im guessing there are no GAPAs moderating right now…..
Oh, man! I’m extremely relieved that the dream I had wasn’t real. It was one of those where it’s real-seeming so you can’t wake up. Terrible, terrible dream.
I dreamed I was in a musical, but I’d never received the script; nor were there any rehearsals. So I had to try to memorize my lines just before I went on, but the script I’d borrowed didn’t say where I was supposed to go on. I ruined that scene, and when allowed to go off, I collapsed to my knees and fell forward onto my elbows. Someone (I couldn’t see who because I was staring at the floor in anguish, though I have a good idea who it was) came up and stood in front of me, silent in their disappointment, then walked away. Several more vague things happened, then I woke up. For the strangest reason, I remember what my character in the musical’s name was: Draumecius.
15- i had this dream last night where i was going to quebec with my school and i was running to the subway carrying my suitcase, back pack and flute. but then i realized that i didn’t need my back pack or flute. i couldn’t go home so i dropped them off at this persons house (it was really early morning) and really dark out. and there was this guy talking to this girl behind me. his name was patrick and he had an irish accent. and he was telling her about how he had been attacked in the ravine (my greatestish fear). it was a weird dream…… and i woke up before i got on the subway (which i suppose we were taking to the air posrt or something) but instead of being my ususal station it was a random one i’ve never seen before….
gapas is it ok to post a URL for SM?
5- go here (andypsionfan.users.btopenworld.com/trebindex.html and poke around. This is where I got my treb information when I had to build one 3 years ago. Under ‘Tiny HCW Pages’ there are some pictures of the one I built.

w00t!! It’s finally snowing today! Seriously, it’s coming down hard. Supposed to be 3+ inches.
we have had 9 theards! and it is only 12:45!
Andrew (18): Awesome! We had some snow earlier this month, but it hasn’t snowed all week. It was forecast to snow last night, but it didn’t. It’s now about 30 degrees F, and sunny. Ah, well…
Whoa, that picture pwns. Was it on the Muse on the Loose thread? I didn’t see it there.
Wow. Everything’s bumped off the Recent Posts bar.
Some time before I was woken up by Mom screaming, I had a dream it was snowing.
Hey, guuuyyyyyssss!!!!!!!!! The Shadowkat is BACK!!!!

I was grounded from the computer for the past 2 and a half week, so sorry about the whole not-being-here thing…hope no stories died…anyway, I’m here!!!
It can’t be december already.
Therefore it is November 31st….
So there calender!
21-Whoa, whoa, whoa, why was your mom screaming??? Wait…was it because you weren’t up, yet?
Sorry, but sheesh!!! There are so many new people!!! Or are they all just the same under different names…?
Was anyone ever a sports racer? (NOT a person who races for a living, a viewer of The Show with ZeFrank.)
Just before I went to sleep last night, I thought that “Dismember” would be a great name for a December random thread. I was going to go back on the blog and bring this up, but I was pinned in bed by the Force of Chronic Sleep-Deprivation.
That picture pwns. I bow before thee and thy supreme knowledge of computer programs, oh noble Lady Bunniful. I will probably print it out and put it on my wall, even if it is small.
I think last night I dreamed that…oh no, I don’t.
It’s stopped snowing outside, and now everything is dusted with dandruff. In case you can’t tell, I only enjoy snow and ice when they’re real, grown up snow and ice, not any of this “powdery” kid stuff. Pathetic.
On the bright side, I finished my math homework, am putting off my essay on the ethic of care and pyschological compartmentalization in men and women, and have so far listened to “Lola” by the Kinks from the On the Road album, um, 23 times since I bought it on Monday. My feet have now healed most of the way, and they hurt less from being blistered so much. Monday I don’t have proper school, only 8th and 9th periods, but an assembly on bullying and free pizza, so there you go. Plus, no swimming 3rd period, glory hallelujah DYNAMITE!
Today I have to write a children’s book on DNA and RNA. Hmm…
26-Who doesn’t love Ze Frank? Hello Grant, btw.
It snowed earlier. We went to the library on our way to the country estate but could go no further due to the snow on the mountain. I got many, many books and ordered still more.
On our way home there was a sale and so we stopped and bought a great deal of stuff and then came home and I discovered-wonder of wonders!- that I have a very little bit of internet access here at home. So yay. I would like it more if it was more reliable. I’m still going to the cafe later.
I have a piece of paperwork that my mother must sign and that we need a witness for. O.o
Yeah, that’s life. See ya later.
20- your sentance does not compute. if there was snow earlier this month, it would have snowed this week. but you said it did not. please explain.
I’m happy! I got casted in Annie! I’m Mrs. Greer, the cook. Not the hugest part, but only 30 something kids actually got casted, so I’m really happy that I made it.
28- A very warm hello to you too, Queenie J! Or Kingy WF. What happened to your feet that made them blister? I have a broken blister on my heel from running in boots too much, but that doesn’t sound nearly so bad as blisters.
I read a Scary-go-Round comic yesterday. A dude is talking about a mountain and says it’s cursed. A lady he’s talking to (Shelley) says, “What curse?” The dude says “It extremely cold.” He doesn’t say extremely. This makes me think Northeastern Ohio is also cursed.
31- congrats!!!!!!
well, i just managed to secure my hair at the base of my neck with paper clips. it didn’t work to well but i’m too lazy to go fetch boby pins. ah well. i’m sure if my mother knew she’d have a fit (they are her paper clips.
18- Do you live in Chicago?
Yay I got mechanical pencils! Lol.
My cat is mewing pitifully; I must go see what she wants.
24-She was screaming at her brother on the phone because the peeps in the hospital my grandfather is in were being idiotic. And he was defending them. (Something you don’t want to do in front of my mother: Defend someone she hates).
31-Congradulations! Our director would only cast the best, so we came up with a shortage of actors. Ms. Greer was played by a teacher (who was very bad at singing).
Hi all, I’m back yet again….. I seem to be having a lot of absences lately.
Anyway, last night at the library I tried to post a big, long comment on my life since the last time I was on. The computer shut off mid word, and it didn’t submit. So, here I go again………
Thanksgiving: for those who don’t know, I volunteer as a costumed interpreter at Jamestow Settlement in VA. So, on Thanksgiving day we got up at 2:00 AM to make the drive, since dad was late getting home the day before. Thanksgiving was spent at the Settlement on the ships talking to the visitors. All the outdoor sites (Fort, Riverfront, Indian Village and Ships) were cooking. On the ships we were making ships biscuts. Not really the most edible, but they were making VERY good food elsewhere. The folks at the Riverfront made the most phenominal pound cake. *dies in bliss* Anyway. There you go.
More recently, a few days ago I received a borrowed skateboard from our friend and piano tuner. It was one of her nephew’s old ones. So, that has been my latest attempt at killing myself.
I’ve been doing it for two days now. One learns to have great respect for the concrete. Ouch.
So, there you go, that’s the news. I’ll be catching up some more later. At the moment though, I’m going to watch a Christmas movie and eat popcorn with my parents. Yum. I like popcorn.
ITS DECEMBER!!!! Yay!!! Who else is overcome with happenness and joy and seems more openminded and extatic in December every year? Its hard to explain, but its the Christmas spirit that always fills me up after Thanksgiving! *does a happy dance* Except I hate the fact that they are playing Christmas songs everywhere, because it isnt cold enough yet where I live. How about you guys? Has it snowed yet? We got a horrible ice storm last year, tons of people were without power for two weeks or more and trees everywhere were down and cracked, when it happened we could hear trees breaking all night, it was quite scary. we are supposed to get another one soon.
37~ I love December. I love every season and month, and I’m always thrilled and amazed whenever the season changes. Today I’ve been thrilled and terrified that it’s already December. It’s one of those things.
Oh god, my feet are cold.
I can’t concentrate of Canix’s story because my sister is listening to “Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles: The Nixie’s Song” or some such thing.
Plus I can’t figure out what’s going to happen to Ess now that she’s an orphan on the streets of Orra. The ghosts will get her, I guess, and that will be her first encounter. Then she’ll be taken in by some horrible orphanage without enough clean water to go around, live there for four or five years, and run away. Then I will begin Roho’s chapter…then Enero’s, then Amamreya’s, then Marrone’s, then Sero’s, then Grees’s, then the Luness’s, and then bring it all neatly together in a chapter where the orphans meet Grees.
39- That’s the first time anyone has ever said “I can’t concentrate on” one of my stories. I’m very proud of my sloppy little accomplishment.
40- Are you insulted or pleased? I can’t tell.
Anyway, I didn’t mean to be insulting.
40-I didn’t say it before but I couldn’t concentrate on yours because my mom was screaming (once again). She seems to do that a lot. So I bumped my head on my radio, turning it on, and blasting my ears with music. In the attempt to shake the ringing out of my ears I knocked over a glass of milk, spilling the milk and breaking the glass. So I had to clean up the milk, reassure my mom, and turn off the radio.
And then I realized that the milk got on your story so I had to print it all out again.
41- I’m pleased, I’m pleased! If the fact that you can’t concentrate is important enough to you that you feel it’s worth posting on MB, I know you’re deriving a measure of enjoyment from my sloppy novel.
43- Ah, I see. Yes, I am. Enough enjoyment that I tried to get my sister slightly interested (or is that just me trying to get her to turn off Spiderwick?) but of course I couldn’t read fast enough for her so she turned it back on.
I shall now go warm my feet in a scalding shower, then try to read/write.
43- Oh, and by the way, however sloppy your novel is, it’s a good deal better than Opal’s book-on-tape.
45- Not a Spiderwick fan?
Who is a Spiderwick fan on MuseBlog?
(Not me).
that’s an amazing picture!
ooh, trebuchets….
46- I used to be. There’s nothing wrong with Spiderwick. I often find myself reading books that are similarly popular and with a similar theme. But it’s several reading-levels (age-wise and skill-wise) down from me now and I find spin-offs of any kind annoying (particularly when it is so obviously unnecessary as that one). Plus the guy who read it was getting on my nerves. So not really.
47- I used to like it, when I was in fourth, third grade.
I read all of them, but never really ADORED them, you know?
Umm, I don’t think I’ve ever read them. What are they about?
Shadowkat (22): Welcome back! ::pies::
TMFA (30): I forgot it was December when posting. Please accept my apologies: I meant it snowed in November.
Speller (31): Congratulations!
I liked Spiderwick when I was younger. They’re good books for children, my brother loves them.
I’m definitely printing out the random thread picture and putting it on my Muse bulletin board. Because it’s flamablamablously flamablamablous! Which graphic programs did you use, Rebecca?
Rebecca is offline at the moment, but here is what she told me: “The early bits in CorelDraw, with one layer run through an earlier version to use a filter that was discontinued. The other layer resulted from experimenting with some fractal software. And finally, I assembled them in Photoshop.”
I liked the Guide more than the series itself. I think it would have been good as a stand-alone.
There is no reason that I am up this early. Oh well…
I am reading Wicked. It is most amusing.
55- the field Guide with all the diiferent creatures? That’s the only thing I read. I actually liked it.
Crud. My 3+ inches of snow turned to an inch of compacted freezing rain.
56- My friend is completely obsessed with Wicked (well, all musicals, really)! So obsessed, in fact, that he knows every single line of dialogue from it after seeing it only twice. Creeepy.
53- I’m using it as my desktop currently.
54-*Gets dizzy and amazed and falls down* I can tell it took a bit of work to get this picture together, wow!!!
8)
IT IS COLD AHHH but no snow! It is supposed to rain, so maybe if it stays cold, and still continues with the rain…*plots* maybe it would snow! Hahah, snow day tomorrow!
They were playing christmas music from a big megaphone attached to a telephone pole downtown yesterday…and we have our tree!
Oh, the season of happiness!
HI MF!
We would watch our christmas movies, but without a television to hook the tape player to, we can only play dvds on our computer. I think we will look for christmas movies on dvd at the library…
Red-tailed HAWK

Hmph. We were supposed to get three inches of snow and instead we got about three millimeters. Maybe tonight we’ll get more and there’ll be a snow day tomorrow. That would be good. AND HOLY COW I JUST REMEMBERED TOMORROW IS DEC. 3 AND THAT IS MY SISTER’S BIRTHDAY AND I HAVE TO MAKE A CARD!!!!!!!! BYE FOR NOW PEOPLES I HAVE TO GET MOVING WITH CARD MAKING WHILE I REMEMBER!
I’ve extended my title because I’m awesome like that.
I wrote a cool phrase yesterday, and as I share things that I believe to be cool with people, here it is:
Red droplets against a pristine field of white.
59- ok….
56- Wicked? Yeah, I read that. It’s… interesting, let’s put it that way. The play is so much better in my opinion.
So yes. It has snowed outside. I should go help my sister build snowmen in the back and front yards. Thankfully, my dad has forgotten that I’m supposed to be grounded from the computer.
Yay! Anyways, well, I’m happy that it snowed of course. However, there’s not enough snow to go sledding in our backyard so I hope it snows more. We should have like a 2hour delay tomorrow because it’s supposed to get icy.
Oh, and GAPAs, would you mind making a thread where people could post their Christmas Lists? I think that might be cool.
Well, byes peoples! Oh, and before I forget. Has anyone seen someone posting by the name of Padfoot lately? I’ve been looking out for her but haven’t seen her… She’s one of my friends so… yeah. Anyways, byes!
Robert (54): Thanks!
Prarilius Canix (55): I liked the Guide better, too!
Yay snow! We still haven’t gotten enough here to make a snowman, but we should be getting a lot this week!
35-Ah…understandable…of course, with my mom, you pretty much just don’t argue.
I’ll respond to more when I have time to do so…right now, I’m off to clean the basement!!!
(62) Kricket: Padfoot posted on November 19 on the Religion & Religions thread and on the November Chameleon thread, and she stopped by “Welcome, Newcomers!” for a pie:
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=1088#comment-192 .
(53, 54) I completely forgot — this graphic originated from a section of the Kokopollihedron. So add yet another piece of software to the mix (Poly, which created the polyhedron I later disassembled in CorelDraw).
Yesterday was my 1 month musiversary!!!!!! (I have been posting since halloween!!) i counted 31 days instead of just 30 because october has 31 days and i wanted a 31st. Yay!!!
the bast book on tape man is Jim Dale who does the HPs. he is the best. i simply adore his vioce. I also kinda like the guy who did the twinky squad voices.
i have exams coming up *urg* i really should start studying. i ws gonna start today with everything but i haven’t *bangs head against wall*. I NEED TO STUDY!!!!!!! but there are so many fun things (like MB) to distract me. grrr……..
57- My cousin, J, is totally like that. It’s really frightening, actually.
I went to the bookstore yesterday and about every third book I picked up seemed to involve vampires in some way or other. I like vampires, vampires are good but I don’t like a large quantity of books that are several reading levels below, overpriced, and all on the same subject. *wanders off to the used book store* *remembers that it fell into the creek* *sighs*
asflagshasfasagh
TOO MUCH HOMEWORK.
My kitteh is purrin’.
68- We had a quarterly in Algebra recently. Some kids failed but I got a 92!!!!!!!! I’m such a geek.
70- All the books are the same, it’s either Mean Girls or rip off Harry Potter fantasy or vampires….. Rar. I need a good book…I only have ONE.
73- Lol, which one?
73- start reading non-fiction or old books.
61: I get that reaction a lot.
73- try the true meaning of smekday . great for HG2TG fans.
35 – Just wondering, what part did you play?
73 – I’m not thrilled with many new releases, but I enjoy reading various older books.
*can’t concentrate on reading anything on this thread right now*
Saturday
Was
AMAZING
So first of all, i had just finished my nanowrimo (well, the word count at least, if not the story) ON TIME and was feeling winnaliciously wonderful. Then i went to the JSA convention where we debated lots of interesting things, and met a lot of really cool people. alex debated a kid named niraj about whether terrorism can be justified, and it was intense. Niraj was really good, he talked in one of the other debates too, and alex did really well. it was a pretty close score. we did the last debate (legalizing prostitution) lakota west style (it was at lakota west…don’t worry GAPAs, that’s a bajillion lightyears away). they basically have an intense free-for-all kind of thing where they start out as a traditional debate but it can turn into speed chess type back-and-forth or crossfire from the audience or anything. it was sooo much fun! i’m definitely suggesting we do some debates like that.
after that, dublin invited us to hang out for a while but lb and i had to go right away to get back for the bb king concert which was INCREDIBLE. if eric clapton is god, bb king is the big freaking bang. plus, he’s basically my childhood, along with aretha franklin and raffi.
the bassist was great too, he had a solo even at the beginning. i was like “omg, i am going home and practicing my bass” except i fell asleep.
today wasn’t horrible either. i finished the game of kings (thank you SOOO much GAPAs, for the recommendation, it is FANTASTIC and yeah, i’m a bit hyper right now, how did you guess?) and it had, surprisingly, a very satisfactory ending. it was such a complicated story that i expected to be annoyed at how it turned out, one way or the other, but there were only two major disappointments (the two major deaths :'( ) and i suppose those were necessary/added to the story.
then i started freaking out about december, because it’s always a horrible month for school, but i’m a little more optimistic now (meaning, i’m trying not to think of it…)
oh, and we had the tree lighting today. pouring rain, as usual, but even worse than last year. like, when i say pouring, think of what pouring rain means to you, then change it to the english definition, then multiply it by twenty, then move it back over to ohio and it’s incredibly fickle weather, and you’ll begin to understand how it can go from perfectly dry when we left to pouring times twenty when we were playing to not raining again now. Somebody hates us.
and then tomorrow will suck. oh school. how i despise thee. actually it’s more just the prospect of having to get my presentation ready, write an essay, work on my research paper, and study (as usual) for the next chem test. oh homework, how i despise thee.
*what Raven of the Hawk who now has 70 spdzk points said* This thread is getting complicated. *melts into mint jelly*
*really wishes that I knew whether we will have school tommorrow*
If I knew that I didn’t have school, I wouldn’t have to work on my French story right now.
It’s raining. Yukyukyukyukyukyukyukyuk. And cold. yukyukyuk, etc….
It’s that time of year again when people start asking you what you want for Christmas. Grr, I never know what to say! Since I don’t really need (or have room for in my tiny house and tinier room) that much stuff, and the things I want are always expensive, like musical instruments and suchlike. And, of course, that’s way to much to ask. I also jut don’t like asking for stuff, it seems so greedy. Never mind the rant, it was extremely random.
Everyone wear their pajamas inside out to hope for snow!!!! Maybe it will snow like………. a foot tonight so we dont have school tomorrow OR the next day. *jumps around like a dork* *sings jingle bells*
We put up one of our Christmas trees today (we have two) it was a pain because one of the strands of lights we had put on didnt work, even after we thought we tested them all. *sigh* But now it is beautiful!!! It is always fun to get the ornaments out, they bring back memories and you always find some that you have forgotten about, or dont remember.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! I think we need a Christmas thread…….*gasp* How much fun does that sound? Sorry. Too much sugar.

Eh…I’ve compiled a huge list of stuff I want for Christmas, and have been wanting for years. It’s mostly comprised of albums and posters and shirts. And a hookah. But anyway.
I pretty much know what I’m going to get everyone…but then there’s the issue of money. Which I seem to have very little of at the moment.
Anyway, wow. It’s been since September that I was on here last. How sad
Hello everyone *pies*
Pies to you too, Shadow Gallery!
Hello, Shadow Gallery! Long time no see!
I never know what to say when people ask me what I want for Christmas, my birthday, etc. I never make lists because that somehow makes me feel greedy-ish. And I never feel like I need anything, so I never really specify what I want. The only thing, that I can think of at the moment, that would be on my non-existent list is Musery Loves Company stuff.
Zark, I have school tomorrow. Three whole weeks to Christmas Vacation.
85~ Hey again! Welcome back. *pies*
I guess I’ll probably be asking for some Musery Loves Company stuff, now that the parental units know how nice it is…. I wasn’t trying to be mean about what I said for Christmas wish lists. I can usually scrounge up a decent list of CDs, books, music and such that I want to get.
ah well.
My problem is that I don’t really need stuff, since when I do need it I just go and get it.
84- Does it count if your nightgown is sewn by yourself and therefore has own sleeve inside-out?
83- Ask for Muse back-issues. That’s what I plan to do if anyone asks me.
I don’t think about Christmas much.
88- Now, you should come here where we’re having a typhoon and the power keeps going out and we may or may not have school tomorrow.
And my mother just called a late-night cleaning session and I had to do the dishes.
90- Typhoon? Oh. Well, that makes me feel a lot better about my own predicament.
Quite literally a typhoon?
91- Well, according to the newspaper on Friday, it’s two typhoons that have joined up to make, I suppose, a bigger typhoon. Then again, the newspaper was calling it the “storm of the century” and it certainly isn’t that.
Although to judge from all the sirens I heard earlier, I guess some people are having it hard.
I could find details…
Be right back.
There are about 10 articles from the past two days having to do with this storm, and it does seem as though it’s a real, honest-to-goodness typhoon. We don’t live on the coast, but we do live by the river, so we don’t get all of it.
Oh my, the power just went out.
Oh double my, I need to go to bed in the off-chance that we do have school tomorrow. (And if we don’t,so we still have auditions after school?)
84-It worked! I wore my pajamas inside out, and there’s no skool!
I cleaned my room yesterday…so now it looks more like a thrift store than a junk shop, which is a huge improvement. And you can walk (for the most part) without stepping on anything (besides the floor). It looks kind of fun, though, if cheesy.
I really don’t want to go t school.
Since I got to a boarding school, we have class no matter what. A meteor would have to skwish one of the buildings for class to be canceled. I don’t really mind though, because if I could stay home, I would have stayed up too late last night, gotten up too late this morning, probably not gone for a run and been stressed out all day about tomorrow’s homework. Better to waste my 5 hours of free time on the MuseBlog actually at school.
NO SCHOOL TODAY!! I got woken up around 4:50 this morning when the school that my mom works at called to tell her that she didn’t have to work today, then I fell back asleep until my alarm went off at 5:30, and then I found out that I didn’t have school, and then I slept until ten, which is late for me. and then I had breakfast, got dressed, and started shoveling, which made it start snowing again. I also found out that my brother and I have to take turns shoveling since we only have one working shovel. So he’s shoveling, and I’m here.
Of course, once you start shoveling it starts snowing again… I don’t know why, but it always happens…
I spent soooo long outside with my siblings today. It was nice, but now I’m all tired out. *sleeps*
96-awwwwwwww. So you hope for Meteor days, instead? Tofl.
But I don’t want to go to skool tomorrow, now.
Of course, now that I’ve finished shoveling, it’s snowing even harder, and it’s nice poofy large snowflakes. Pretty and annoying at the same time.
97: Awesome! *is jealous*jk
Actually I didn’t have school either today, but that’s because I stayed home sick. But… good news! My varsity jacket came! w00t!! *does dance of extreme happiness*
Lucky both of you. I had a 2 hour delay!
which was spent shoveling
You lucky little platypuses reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hoping to get out on Wednesday, cos that means that I don’t have to go to my English class, which would be wonderful, since I haven’t done the homework in two weeks!
But I’m not betting on it.
Mostly I just can’t wait for break. Over two glorious weeks of absolute freedom. Two glorious weeks…*sigh*
Meh. I dislike babysitting. Even if it is my brother and he’s happily playing on neopets.
Snow or ice would be really cool right now.
Two weeks to X-Mas vacation=huge math test. Me=not ready for huge math test. Math test=crushes me under big weight. Big weight=qwishes my stomach and spleen. Sqwished stomach and spleen=hospital. Hospital=no school. No school=no X-mas vacation. No X-Mas vacation=no mat test!
See? Perfect reasoning. Now pardon me, I have to go find a big weight! *skipps off happily*
My friend drew a really awesome picture with gold and pastels, and she asked me to describe it, so I said “Teenage angst, frustration, and pubecent joy all packed into one.” And she was like, “Okay, I’m just gonna say that it looks cool.” and wrote that down instead.
“Teenage angst, frustration, and pubecent joy.” I wish I could pack that into a picture like she can.
90-Sure!!!
94-YUP! I actually forgot after I said that, so I had to go to school. IT STILL HASNT SNOWED!!!
And for the How in the world did she do that? Award Category: I nominate myself. Missing the bus after the two hour delay…And having to wait for my mom to come back from the doctor’s so I could get a ride to school.
And
The thing I heard most often today:
penguini… you’re hair is… … blue
My response; Yes my hair is blue. This makes for good conversation, don’t it?
Ah, well
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE EXAMS COMING UP IN ONE WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOMEONE SAVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED TO STUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well, that’s enough panic for one day. so anyways. today in french we had to make a dialogue about good manners. the groups were supposed to have 4 people in them but then my group only had three. the diarmid wasn’t here today so liam and i made up the entire thing. it’s prety bad. it’s starts with liam hating diarmid and me trying to teach them good manners and deteriorates into diarmid and liam beating eachother up. and it’s only funny because it’s in french (which none of us speak particulaly well)
Thing I Heard Most Today: Beavo, are you gay?
That usually tops the list pretty much every day. *kills lots of people with rampaging rhino*
108- are you, or just metrosexual or something?
108-I’m not gay. I’m dating a girl. (You could argue that I could be bi, but you’ll just have to take my word that I’m not.)
108- um…. that’s a pretty rude question ( i have been subjected to it myself) it’s none of their buisness besides you have a girlfriend.
109- from what he’s said on other thread i’ve gathered that he’s heterosexual (i hope that’s the right word) and that the kids at his school are losers.
is it just me or have ag, gim and C++D not been on in a while? becaus i feel like ag especialy has been missing….
We had a ton of snow today, and it stuck to the ground! ::dhd::
They’re going to be really stingy about snow days this year, though, because they’re worried that the teachers are going to go on strike.
click on my name Pc
come here: https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=105
you said you would!
Today I played a jolly prank on a couple of my friends. While we were in school, it was snowing and there was ice on everyone’s cars. I was about to leave school, but then I noticed the windshield wasn’t as clean as it could be, so I got my ice scraper and cleaned it off. Coincidentally, I’d pulled in right near where my friends were parked and where I’d have parked had I got up on time this morning, so I went and cleaned off their windshields too before they got there. Now I’m going to tell them about the “windshield ghoul” as a silly joke.
111-Yes. Losers describes them well. I’ve been going out with Katie for four weeks last Thursday, and people are still like “So, has Katie broken up with you yet?” “Has she found out {whispering} your secret?”
*says lots of bad stuff*
115- That sounds difficult. I had to deal with that in middle school, except I didn’t have the added defense of a girlfriend. A great deal of people are scum.
AGABLAG
too much homework
and no time to watch tin man
which pwns to no end
WATCH IT
116-Really, the girlfriend defence isn’t working too well. People think I’m using her in exactly that way: a defence or “proof” agaisnt being gay. Which disgusts me, because it’s those kind of people who do that sort of thing. If I was a fifteen preppy teenage girl I might use this oppurtunity to say “User Looser”, but I’m not, so I wont.
Today is my “Beavo Pours Out His Heart” day, I think. That’s quite enough pouring for one day. I gotta go put myself back in the fridge now before I get too hot and spoil.
What is tin man?
115-Sorry, Beavo. That must be terrible.
116-Ditto, Grant O. Oh, your full name is back! Sw33t!
117-Haven’t yet. I’m still stewing over Flash Gordon. Hey, I still watch Flash Gordon. It’s ah-mazing.
UPDATED LIST OF PERIODICALS I GET/READ:
MUSE (duh)
Wired/HotWired
Asimov’s SF Mag
Analog
On Spec
Tales Of The Unanticipated (once in a while, OK?)
Solaris
Albedo One (sometimes)
Subterranean
Weird and Wonderful World of SF
The Eagle (still around, still awesome)
Financial Times
Clarkesworld
The Week
I just realized how sad that list is. All SF mags. Maybe I’m just not all that well rounded. (Then again, my *male* math teacher reads Cosmo. So you never know.) I hate women’s magazines.
Also, you don’t want to know how many past editions of now-defuncts I own. Ree-diculous.
Beavo, I wouldn’t take it too much to heart. After all, you do have a girlfriend, which would argue that you weren’t gay (unless you’re Zac Efron, in which case–well, I don’t know) and you are clearly smarter than all those DIRPs in your school. But *if* you wear the pink bunny tee shirt from Musery Loves Company…weeell, let’s just say you’re not helping the situation.
Well, I think this is gunnight for today.
Gunnight everyone! Sweet dreams! Don’t bite the bedbugs! That will only aggrivate them!
(119) “Tin Man” is a mini-series on the Sci-Fi Channel, which updates “The Wizard of Oz” in a strange, dark way.
122- Details? Or shall I wiki?
Wikipedia is probably your best bet.
It stars Zooey Deschanel, who played Trillian in the much-maligned movie version of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.”
124- IT IS NOT MALIGNED
AT LEAST NOT BY ME
like the harry potter movies, it sucks compared to the book but rocks as a movie.
123- DO NOT WIKI
watch it!
125- I am physically unable to. Our TV is a zillion years old and receives four channels.
I have a snow day today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
anyone else? I know it seems kinda early in the year but it’s still waaayyyyyy cool!
Why can’t I ever have a normal day????? *rrrrrgggghhhhh* I came home from school to find that my dog had somehow gotten into my room, and since to exit my room you need to pull, he was stuck. This would not be a problem if it wasn’t for three things:
1. The paint dust littering the area around the door, no doubt from the upper corner of the door rubbing against the frame as my dog tried to get out. This wouldn’t be a problem either if it wasn’t for the other two.
2. The smell. It smelled like something had died. Luckily, I could immediately see the source, which brings us to:
3. Bone chips and a scrofulous and horrifying substance were lying in a small area. I thank whatever god is responsible for it being a small area. It appears as if Duncan somehow got the bone from the deer leg he found inside and into my room, a room which he is unable to get out of. My personal space has been maligned, and guess who has to clean up these remnants of bone?
Why can’t I ever have a normal day? I’ve since cleaned up the mess, and the smell is lessening (in a moment I’m going to get a candle and rid my room completely of these malodorous fumes), but come on! Why can’t my dog, a reasonably smart being (he’s quite intelligent for a dog) avoid a room in which he gets invariably trapped? Why does he happen to have a bone in it? Why does it happen on the one day I don’t latch my door in the morning?
126- Lol. You’ll be out of luck in 2009 when all the broadcast signals change to digital. hehe. stupid FCC.
I believe that today POTC3 came out on DVD? (Hey that rhymes!)
130- Yeah, pretty sure.
128- If something can go wrong, it will.
127- I’m hoping for one. We’re supposed to get half a foot of snow between now and tomorrow afternoon.
115- That’s how it always is. If they (your gf/bf) haven’t broken up with you in about three weeks, people start to wonder. Pretty stupid if you ask me, but there it is.
111- I thought something was missing from MB.
Normally, my school doesn’t call snow days. We have cold days, meaning that it’s so cold that we shouldn’t step outside.
Personally, I’m hoping for forty-mph winds to push the temperature over (or rather under) the limit. *crosses fingers*
I don’t know if its good or not, but I HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD! I was stopped by police for tresspassing at the Christian Academy. They asked me my name and said they wouldnt write me up but if i did it again they would.
127- ouch1 that doesn’t sound too fun. my cat can get into/out of everywhere which is anoying.
My dad just sent me this joke:
Two Santas from rival department stores walk into a bar and got into
a fight. Fortunately, a comma and a period were in the same bar. They worked together and separated the two Clauses.
Isn’t it flamablamablous???
oh boy. someone doesn’t understand Channukah. I read a lot of author/editors’ blogs and one of them had a picture up for humor of a grocery display. there’s a sign that says ‘Delicious for Channukah’ and then the product is boneless ham. Oh boy…. someone doesn’t know much about Judaism.
oooh! just a note: i probably won’t be on until christmas because i have exams until the 18 and i need to study like crazy because they’re coming up so fast! *pannicks* anyways bye O wondrouse blog! I will see you in a few weeks! love you all.
btw- beavo- i saw me in your book! *squeels of delight*
135- why political correctness is wrong some times.
135-after i was finished cracking up about that (it took a while, believe me) i realized how sad that actually is…
136-Yeah, you’re an assistaint Headmaster of a school like Wizard MIT.
136- Wait, where are everyone’s books posted?
Nevermind, I found it. All I had to do was look, really.
Oi, Beavo, I thought you said I was in that, but the Ultimate Supreme Executive Chairman in your novel is named Mildred Abbot.
135- I’m ROFLing and being disgusted at the same time.
142-Yeah, that’s your name. Didn’t you know? You should really talk to your parents more, mr. chairman.
Yeah. I’m only using some people’s names. Like Kagcomix is really Nicholas with a the last name of Kagy. I’m still using the name; it sounds important.
128-Ew. That sounds kind of like you live inside the crypt in Paris. Then again, so did La Mole, and he survived, so there you have it.
135-Amusing and sad at the same time.
My day was the sort of day that could have made St. Francis of Assisi kick babies.
145- And you made my name a title, I assume from “the Prarilius.”
By the way, it’s one L, not two.
My mom’s cooking latkes. Onions burning my eyes.
We have 6 menorahs lit around our house. I am convinced that we are going to get a rock through our window.
148-My mom just made latkes, even though we’re not Jewish. I just like latkes…
I need to write a poem. who wants to hear? Nobody? Oh darn. Oh well, cover your ears then!
The lights burn silently
In the hall, or is it street?
At first it seems to wake me
With a start
My heart
Begins to shake me
And I know how this is to feel the heat
I feel enclosed
An animal in rage
A cage
Of flame builds up around me
No moisture from my nose
Or any part abound me
I see the orange
Claws ripping from the door stoop
This is no way to coop
A living
Breathing human being
I cannot find my way out
It seems that only windows
Are the route away
But they are too stout
I feel in peril, in need
Of a hand to reach
A voice to call,’My friend!”
But then it seems,
I have reached the
End
A tunnel
It is black, they call it
Smoke rings
Running round my head and
I fling
My voice into the air
“Help me!” I cry unto the heavens
But then it shall endeaven
All the others too
A funnel
Of wrong and right
And things I did not do
I sit here
Outside of my head now
Ringing in my stead now
The voices past and gone
I feel that
If I had waited longer
The fire might have made me
Stronger
But then I would be
Like them
The lonely
The ones who need a way out
Of the fray
But in the end
They were tangled
And so they lost their way.
I dedicate that poem to my friend who lost her house last month. I hope that someway she will know that Iwish she had I home for the holidays *sniffle*.
148,149- latkes are the shiznet, apple sauce or sour cream?
148- oh my god, did you read that story too? it freaked me out, lol.
YAY. latkes be good. and yummy. and delicious, etc. and we got a new TV (hd)! and a wii! etc.
hanukkah pwns.
151-Umm…I ate them with applesauce, but idk.
And I just wrote a poem too!
The carved ash
offers sharp escape.
Shall I take it up
and freedom embrace?
I know that doesn’t rhyme. It’s an assonance.
Any attemp of mine at poetry ends badly. I have no poetical talent at all.
Can somebody go to the Books in Progress thread and edit my little story idea?
147-Yes, I know that. I tried to change as much as I could. Sorry about the Muggles, I honestly really was going to change that. It was temporary.
Mom used to make Latkas just for fun (she used to be Jewish) because it was tradition, but she didn’t because she’s visiting Grandpa in the hospital. And I don’t like Latkas.
Although I did eat a good filling of applesauce.
I get poetry inspiration when it’s least expected. Everybody expects me to be a great poet because of my work at summer camp and the stuff I come up with at midnight (which I keep hidden; it’s really emo). But I can’t ever think of anything good when I want to.
I can has poetry thread?
You can has poetry thread!
I want latkes.
I just had some stir-fry. YUMYUMYUM. Whew, I must be tired, to be that random.
So, a history lesson (inevitable, coming from me…) and a goodnight all wrapped in one. Here goes;
“Goodnight, sleep tight and don’t let the bedbugs bite.” I’m sure we’ve all heard that at some point. The “sleep tight” comes from rope beds, which are most comfirtable whn the ropes are tight. Sleeping on a straw matress aquaints one with some bedfellows, not always wanted, thus, “don’t let the bedbugs bite.”
So, that said, I’ll go take a shower and fall onto my lovely, soft flannel sheets and snore. Loudly.

THIS IS SO EXCITING, IT IS ACTUALLY SNOWING!
LET ME GO WORK SO I CAN GET OU IN THE SNOW SOONER!
SORRY FOR CAPS~~I’M REALLY EXCITED, THE FIRST SNOW, AND BIG FLAKES! W00T!
RED-TAILED HAWK

151- Both!!!!
152-nah, it’s just that 2 years ago, someone bombed the reform temple.
I got 48 ferrero rocher chocolates. They’re not going to last a week.
The snow is falling here in downtown D.C., too, moderate but steady. It’s swirling through the air but not sticking to the sidewalks yet. I’ll get a better idea of the traction in a few minutes, when I go out to get a sandwich. Good thing I wore my hiking boots to work this morning!
IT’S SNOWING HERE, IT’S SNOWING HERE, IT’S SNOWING HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I woke up this morning and looked out the window aboue my bed, and, lo nd behold SNOW! Sitting bolt upright I gazed in wonder at the spectical before me like I’d never seen it before. I love snow.
It has almost covered all the grass, save for a few tuftsthat still poke up. It’s not going as strong now as it was a bit ago, but it’s coming down!!! YAYAYAY
I’m exited, can you tell?
I’m off to go do homework, play in the snow, find out what Mom is making that smells so good and be random.
Fare ye well, my fellow MuseBloggers! May your pies (and/or snowballs) fly true!
146- awww *sympathy*
It’s snowy here and I went cross country skiing a bit. I want latkes.
I’m glad I have a space heater in my room. This means that at (goes to check temperature) 28 degrees, I can have the door closed and still experience sub-tropical temperatures. If my room had a miniature refrigerator, I’d never need to leave!
We started “The Canterbury Tales” in English class today. We just read the prologue, which is a long description of what the people look like. I find myself sympathizing with the Yeoman.
Snow! It snowed!
Well, not much. But it’s really early for snow here…
I wish it would snow here….even if we dont get a snowday, it would be nice if it would snow.
Ug. I was home sick from school today, it stinks. My back is in extreme pain.
We’ve got about five inches or so, currently, but the sun’s probably melted a bit of it by now.
This past weekend there was enough snow in wisconson (went there for a hocky tournament) to make us stay at a hotel overnight instead of going home, aka no extra clothing and the hotel shampoo/conditioner than still makes my hair to tangled it takes over an hour to brush. Grr.
Snow is cold, and wet. If there’s going to be snow I want the proper stuff, big and thick (preferably starting at 1 am and going all night to a snow day).
Also, dad has something against heat. WHy is our thermostat never above 68…
154- Eh, I thought it rhymed when I read it (embrace, escape). But i have been known to stretch rhymes to breaking point.
161- *mouth waters*
Voice with British accent: Here we can see the rare habitat of Grant’s room. It is inhabited by many strange creatures, including the Ratchet and Clank poster and the striped scarf. Occasionally one may catch a glimpse of the rarest creature of all to inhabit this sub-tropical climate: the Ultimate Supreme Executive Chairman. Here we can see a nearly full-grown specimen engaging in some of his favorite activities: lounging around, using the Internet, and writing humorous things. This one appears to have gotten its hands on a book of the Sharpe series, which it is devouring with ravenous hunger for entertainment.
SNOWSNOWSNOW!
Six frickin’ inches! WAHOO!
my kitteh is aaaw-some. and puuurrr-fect, for that matter.
And we got a wii!
well, now that i’ve started studying (aaahhhhh geography exam is on monday*calms down*) i feel much better.
has anyone seen the movie trainman? (i doubt it as it’s in japenese) but anyways, it’s awesome. it made me cry. it reminds me a bit of here. well, go watch it!
The snow here is CRAZY!!!! It has been snowing all day, and we have at least 3 inches STICKING to the ground!!!

On another note, we went to a press conference today for the Pittsburgh Public Schools. They’re starting a new program called “The Pittsburgh Promise,” where every student who attended high school in the Pittsburgh Public Schools will get around $10,000 every year to go to college. There was this huge national press conference thing in our auditorium today, so we were asked to fill the seats. And it was really weird–they had to teach us how to clap correctly, when to cheer, how to cheer, etc. Apparently it’s a really big deal because UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center–the hospital system in Pittsburgh) is donating 100 million dollars for the program. It was actually a really boring press conference, and Mark Roosevelt (superintendent) was chewing gum!!
we got some snow. then it turned to ice and we went sledding
My friend was watching The Lady in the Water when I walked into the room, and something scary had just happened, and all you could hear was the crickets on the movie. She looked scared out of her wits, so I was like “My little pony, my little pony” and she desolved into uncontrollable laughter. I love doing that. It’s so fun making peoples laugh when they’re just about to die of fright.
WE
HAVE
SNOW
like
REAL
SNOW
IN
OHIO
not much, only a couple inches but STILL
for where i live, that’s FANTASTIC
and yet when i tried to organize a snowball fight, we had just started when my mom dragged me away to help deliver oranges to the lazybutts who couldn’t get off their donkeys and come pick up their own oranges. my mom wasn’t even involved with the fundraiser, she’s just friends with somebody who is and was asked to help. it was just us delivering, and they weren’t even supposed to be delivered. i said let them rot in the band room if nobody wants to get them, but mom said that’d be unfair to johnson. rar, i say. rar.
johnson had to trade in his car! :'( he had a sweet convertible…don’t know what kind (i don’t really know anything about cars, but it was freaking awesome). he has a pickup truck now. slight difference…i said we should have a funeral.
also, jazz band’s playing at B&N saturday for when pete hamill’s coming. we’re reading one of his books in book club right now…for friday actually *must remember money…and to read the book…*
oh and hahnz might switch to bari! we all said we’d kill him if we did, but he says he’s prolly going to anyway :'( we want gaba to switch…he’s still annoying as ever.
and hahnz’s hair is the reason we had school today too, because it’s causing global warming (he’s one of the few redheads at our school)
haha, just remembered, yesterday somebody (prolly a tenor sax, they’re dumb) was like “it smells like oranges in here” and johnson was like “yeah, i wonder why” (sarcastically) and then RIGHT before we started to play hahnz was like “it’s because of my hair” kind of quietly so only we could hear. of course we all cracked up and johnson gave us this weird look because he hadn’t heard it
yeah, i think that’s all the band news…
in chem news, flores informed us today that the license plate “PV nRT” is taken in almost every state (he said he hadn’t checked alaska and idaho) so lizzy and i checked alaska and it was taken :'( but idaho we couldn’t find a way to check, just a paper application.
also, hewitt taught me an interesting way to remember that. moles are perverts, because n=PV/RT, so if you go down from left to right, it’s PRVT (P/RxV/T i guess) so pervert.
now that would make an interesting license plate…
122- I saw that. ‘Twas . . . odd. Or wait. Never mind. I saw the old, old, old, old, old, old, old Tin Man. I believe it was directed by L. Frank Baum. Or something like that.
132- Why would that be good?
156- How do you mean?
I know everyone here has been in a state of unbearable suspense as to my welfare on the storm-tossed Pacific Coast (not), but here is the completely unsought-after story.
My town is a mess. There has been no power since Sunday (which explains my absence), and Monday was exceedingly stormy. I woke up at six AM to my mother’s cell phone alarm clock and couldn’t see anything. So I set it a half-hour ahead and went back to sleep. I still couldn’t see when I got up then, but I called the school by the light of Mother’s iPod. There was no answer, so I went back to bed and watched the clouds zip by at high speeds, and I must have fallen asleep because I remember waking up to the whole house being shaken by the wind. Both our rhododendron bushes blew down, and there was what appeared to be a mattress on our front steps. (It was the neighbor’s hot-tub lid). We went for a walk in the morning, nearly got blown into the river, and came back when it became too much. We stayed inside most of Monday (no power, no school), doing puzzles, and then we went on a quest for something hot (no power, no heat). We found that my mother’s place of work was being used as a kitchen/fort (it even has fort in it’s name!) for the staff. So we hung out there, eating hot foods and listening to the radio, until we had to leave. We went to see some of our friends, who live in a much more dangerous spot in town. They had heat, and we ended up spending the night there. And then we spent last night there too. And now here we are in the country. The power’s still out in town.
So there is the great epic story of the Typhoon. I don’t know if there’s school tomorrow or not, but I do know that auditions will have to be rescheduled and that our school is NOT competing in the Ocean Sciences Bowl.
I find that when I cannot access MB, I write in my journal a LOT.
Snow. Sigh. I think we had a few wistful puffs this morning.
151 – Yum. Latkes. We had latkes for dinner tonight and last night, and they are delicious. I like homemade (or storebought if we don’t have homemade) applesauce on mine. By the way, has anyone heard the song “Applesauce or Sour Cream” by the Levis (or any of their songs for that matter).
It snowed here (Chicago area) a lot today! Not nearly enough to have a snow day (which is about 5 feet), but enough to play in.
Also, does anyone have any tips on using Garageband? We’re using it for a big project in school. (One of the members of my group is tired of me using Kokopelli for president as my test recording.)
179- I LURVES THE LEVIS! but I like “How do you spell Hannukah better”
I LURVES GARAGEBAND! one tip is click on the eye, and youll get a bunch of cool riffs. you can also record your voice.
180 – Yeah, that’s my favorite song too. Except for a few factual errors about those kids in the spelling bee (being one of them myself). In fact, I liked it so much that I used some of the lyrics in a paper I wrote on Yiddish in the English language. I mean how can you resist:
I remember when I was back in elementary school
A Spanish kid told me
That it starts with a silent J
But Julio was wrong
Or maybe he was right
So, all you Musers in Northern California, tell me– do you find the number of ponds slightly unnerving? Or is that just me? (I used to live in Northern California and my dad and I were playing around with Good maps a few minutes ago, and we looked up our old house in ******** County (am I allowed to say where I used to live?) and I was quite shocked by the number of ponds.) (And the GAPAs may snip this if they choose, but honestly, there’s nothing explicit in it.)
If you live in town, they probably don’t have as many ponds.
speller (179): I love GarageBand! What are you making?
Ugh. No one’s here. I’ve almost forgotten what it’s like when everyone else is at school and I’m not.
184- I’m here! for a few more seconds.
185- Hi!
Well, I just submitted a sentence to the Bulwer-Lytton Sentence contest. Wish me luck… *crosses fingers*
177- That’s an incredible stroke of bad luck. I know that saying that isn’t helpful, sorry. I wish you the best of luck in any future endeavors, and I hope everything’s all right there.
Today I gave Lisa my January 07 Muse, so the plan to subvert her is coming along nicely, maybe she can even come to the blog in a few days if we keep feeding her from our saved Muses. (not literally feeding. Think “voracious reader.”)
Also, I saved up enough money (and got more from practically all my relatives on my birthday) to get a refurbished iPod, and it arrived today so all is well again in my world. So shiny…
It snowed here, Monday I got two extra hours sleep because of it. But then there was icy cold rain and the snow melted away. There’s still ice on the ground instead of water, though.
Question: If I were to change my name (or I guess pseudonym is what I mean), would anyone mind too much? Do any of you have any wonderful ideas for what to change it to? I don’t know, but I chose this name a long time ago. Maybe I’ll go back to being the dodecahedron if I don’t get a reply saying something like “Oh no, my whole life would be ruined if you changed your name. I would fall into a downward spiral and eventually be driven to commit suicide,” or maybe like “If you change your name I will start my own personal vendetta against you and not rest until you are dead.”
Wow, look at all that creativity, someone needs to finish her nano. Stop talking to me, the voices in my head are supposed to be a figment of my imagination, in the book only. If you don’t write us we won’t go away. Whatever, just shut up. No. Either we talk to Christine or we talk to you. meh. I’ll do that eventually. Get another thousand words or two by the end of the week? Fine. I know. I said I’d do it. Okay, talk to you later. ‘k, bye.
*wanders off, whistling innocently*
My extremities are going to freeze and fall off.
177- I had wondered where you were, actually, but I just thought you were busy O.o I take it everyone is okay, then? Even though it must have been scary it sounds like an adventure.
And good luck!
Alice-*wishes luck*
C&Q-“Oh no, my whole life would be ruined if you changed your name. I would fall into a downward spiral and eventually be driven to commit suicide,” or maybe like “If you change your name I will start my own personal vendetta against you and not rest until you are dead.” Just kidding, you can change it, I won’t die/kill you.
Grant-Oooh! Awesome! I’ll trade you my already jarred-and-pickled leg. I pickled it for show, it got a bit boring all blackish and severedlike.
General Announcement: I’m switching from Beavo (and such) to Beavo the Online Stalker Spy at random intervels (a.k.a. when I have enough time).
(187) I think “curious and questioning” describes you very well. But Dodecahedron is a good name, too, and so (I’m sure) is anything else you’d decide to call yourself.
Alice (186): Good luck! That contest is quite funny, I’m considering entering but I can’t think of any good bad beginnings
We didn’t have school today because of parent-teacher conferences, so my mother took full advantage of the fact that I did not have school, and THF and I got to go to the doctor. Yay! ::cough:: I don’t know why I don’t like the doctor, I just don’t. Anyway, apparently I’m twenty pounds underweight.
it’s all dark and grey outside…… there’s soooooo much snow! and ice! tomorrow is the stage crew party at my school. my friend ellyn is going and two grade tens i know are going. the teachers who run it are pretty cool so it should be fun. we were told to brung a “found” gift from around our house. i”m bringing Spirit (that really crappy horse movie), a book on houidini (my mom was a houdini fanatic in her youth and says she already knows everything that’s in it anyways) and a book of everyday science. so yeah. i wrapped it really well, using loads of ribbon! i love wrapping presents!!!!!!
c&q, Jade, Beavo- Yeah, we’re all fine, thank you. We’re lucky enough to be sheltered by the big hill. We didn’t even have to light any candles! It was quite an adventure. Actually we got out to the country right after the novelty wore off.
Grant, Beavo- I have long been using artificial fingers. My original ones froze off a while back. Artificial fingers type amazingly well.
183 – We’re making a radio broadcast of a mystery.
hem. yet another note on my life. (sorry to bore you) okay in drama our exam piece is “drug X” which is about this drug that’s being made legal and manditory that eliminates the teenage years. they take you at 12-13 and put you to sleep for a year and when you wake up you’re 20. well, part of this is that you have to do a monologue in your scene. My monologue made people cry *is proud*! actually i was crying as i was doing it, i have no idea why. and our whole group made our teahcer cry. ours was the first drug X group to make her cry and she’s been doing this fo a long time! our scene was about this disfunction family. the father was really detached, the older daughter was really adicted to drugs, the mom (me) wasn’t really good at talking to her daughters, and the younger daughter(who was taking the drug) hates her mom. me and the younger daughter Rory have a fight at dinner which ends in rory saying I HATE YOU! (never say this to your mom, please) so then i do my monologue and then rory comes down and tells me she’s sorry and gives me this video for herself when she wakes up. and tells me not to watch it. which in fact i do and the video is her talking about her family and friends and when she gets to her mom she’s all “there’s my mom. i hate her. she just doesn’t understand, i hate her.”. everyone was expecting her to say she loved me. but noooooo.
[/end rant]
The lady at the supermarket i went to yesterday wore Kokopelli earrings.
165~ I was cross-country skiing today! The snow was rather horrible, but oh well.
188~ Oh, so you’ve been hanging up laundry in weather below 20 degrees too?
Drat, the computer keeps threatening to shut down on me. (Stupid library computers time limits…..) BYE!!!!
Oooh. XCS! Cewel.
We had a two hour delay today. Funfun.
In any case, we had the band rehersal early and played Colonal Boogey (a.k.a. the song that everybody loves and nobody can play, a.k.a. the song that everybody hates and nobody can play, etc.) which turned out to be okay. Then we played the Adams Family theme song and it was really hard not to crack up; the precussion can think of the best little “instruments” to be funnie. Hilar.
196-what an excellent peice of drama…
199- i can play it!
200- was that sarcasm….? *tear* i put my heart and soul into it and you use SARCASM????? *runs around screaming*
176- haha, I’ll inform my chem teacher and ask her if that’s *her* license plate for our state…
177- *hugs!* I hope it gets better soon!
187- go ahead! Just make sure we know that ____ used to be c+q
196- Cool! I’m in a theatre class now too and It’s a lot of fun.
201-On flute? The second part? The second part and the second movement? That’s what I’m doing. I’m fine with the first movement up until measure forty or something, that’s when I get messed up.
Ohmygosh. I forgot to say this. How could I have forgotten?
I scared my friend stiff this morning. She has just asked somebody out, and I thought they were an absolutly cute couple, and I had encouraged her from the moment she admitted she liked him. He said yes, and she ran over to tell me. Here’s the convesation.
Vanessa: Ohmygod. I just asked Matt out! *claps hands*
But I thought you and Katie…?
Me: *stiffens* And he said…?
Vanessa: He said yes! *jumps up and down*
Me: …oh. *slump*
Vanessa: Why, what’s wrong? *worried face*
Me: Oh, it’s just… never mind.
Vanessa: No really, tell me!
Me: You don’t wanna know.
Vanessa: Yes I do! Michael, you can tell me everything, I swear. I won’t tell.
Me: Well… it’s just…no. I won’t tell you…I can’t.
Vanessa: ….Michael? Please tell me. It’s okay. I’ll understand.
Me: I’ll tell you later. *starts to walk away*
Vanessa: *catches shoulder* Really! I promise. I cross my heart and hope to live.
Me: *deep breath* Okay. I liked you, Vanessa. I hoped he would say no.
Vanessa:
Me: We broke up.
Vanessa: Aww, Michael, I’m so sorry…*reaches out to shoulder* *stops*
Me: I’ll go now.
Vanessa: *awkward moment* I’m sorry, it’s just…
Me: *cracks up* Mehehehe!
Vanessa: *confused, then nervously cracks up too*
Ms. Loiselle: *gives us the oh-no-those-laughing-preteens-they-must-be-up-to-no-good look*
Vanessa: So it was just…?
Me: Yeah, I was just playing. Katie and I are still going out, don’t worry. Congradulations on Matt! You two are so cute.
Vanessa: Thanks! *skips away*
No school tomorrow either. Huzzah.
204- I know your name! Mwahahahahahaaaaaa! And your last initial! *stalks endlessly*
Not. There must be TONS of Micheal F.s out there.
You don’t seem like a Micheal.
I’ve noticed that most of my lack of posting on some more involved threads is not a function of writer’s block, but of laziness. I don’t want to take the time or I’m not in the mood to break out of my WB and therefore I do nothing. Most tedious.
206-My last initial isn’t F, how’d you get that?
208- Oh. You said once that Midnight Fiddler’s initials (MF) were the same as yours.
i went to the stage crew partay tocay and it was fun! One of the teachers who runs it is like a hyper 6 yearold and a teenage girl put together, so obviously it was quite hilariouse. also all the kids at my school are really loud and enthusiastic so it was just this balll of explosive laughter. anyways it was fun. someone brought an elvis head!? whyyyyy? *chuckles* everyone wanted it.
204- Did you really like her? I’m really sorry! I hate when that happens.
thats why I’m so sad, actually. It’s a long story.
I’m really happy. We finally found a sponsor for the local spelling bee after looking for one since August. I also will be devoting a lot of time to spelling, so I might not be on here as much.
RAWRRRR
Sorry, I just felt like saying that.
I really have nothing to say, though, except that my favorite bracelet broke and I had to get a new one.
This, my friends, is the LAST time I EVER drink two cups of coffee in a row. It does weird things. My head is spinning. (Although I somewhat suspect that’s from running partway up the hill on my way home.)
202-that wasn’t supposed to be sarcasm! It sounds like it would be a good skit/play thing…*sigh*. Geez…
Now, Faustus, must thou needs be damned,
And canst thou not be saved?
What boots it then to think of God or heaven?
Away with such vain fancies and despair:
Despair in God and trust in Beelzebub,
Now go not backward: no, Faustus, be resolute.
216- Hey! Long time no see.
I like to sleep. I like going to bed. But I don’t like waking up. dur.
215- sorry, it was the “…” that made it seem sarcastic.
today i’m going to my friends b-day partay yaaaay!!!!!!! we’re gonna watch back to the future! (with michael J Fox [sp?] whom i adore) sorry, that’s just a bit o’ happiness in my life.
also: for my mock english exam we read “the Witch” which is a short story. then we have to write 3 paragraphs from the writing prompt. the first one is answering whether you think the little boy was influenced by the strange man. the second is if you’ve ever been influence by a stranger or someone you don’t know very well, and the thrid is comparing the witch to another story. anyways my second paragraph is about mr. Coontz. i would have done MB but i didn’t really want to explain it.
soryy to bore y’all.
Gosh. I hope I’ve been a good influence.
219- most certainly you have been.
209-Well, they’re my first and middle initials, not first and last. So technically they are.
211-No, I didn’t really like her, that’s why I cracked up. I can be a damn good actor when I want to. Actually I did like her back in sixth grade, and told her so, and she rejected me. It was the nicest rejection I’ve ever received and I respected her decision and figured that maybe it wouldn’t work out. That’s why she’s a really good friend now.
So.
Today I trooped off to school to work as a room monitor for the District Band tryouts. It was really fun because I saw a whole bunch of friends, my boss’s were really nice, and THEY HAD FREE FOOD w00t!
And plus Katie was there. She got to meet Dad.
And there was much awkwardness.
(220) Oh, good. I’d hate to think that anyone here was writing essays for school entitled “MuseBlog Ruined My Life.” Well, whatever Rebecca and Rosanne and Paul and I are doing, I guess we’ll just keep doing it.
221- *gasp* you mean your name is Michael Funky
???? hem. actualy my guess is either michael flamablamablouse or michael fredrick.
Ehehehe. “MuseBlog Ruined My Life”. More like “AND I SAW THE LIIIIGHT”. Remember “NaNoWriMo Ate My Soul”?
Hold… I haven’t been here in forever. Like. An incredibly long time. And once again I write from an iPod. I so need to get one of tbese things.
It is kind of hard to type, though, for obvious reasons…
later.
:idea:TNO:idea:
224- wat soul? most of us here are vampires, remember?
Does anyone know if Penty is alive?
227- She should be. I’m pretty sure that she posted sometime this month, actually.
227-EM! *huggles and pies* yeah, penty’s alive, and around here somewhere
penty? greekgurl is confused.
(227) She’s posted quite a bit this week, most recently yesterday on Hot Topics.
230-pentatonikk, separate pentity, kzpentatonikk, etc. anything with pent in it is basically her. hence, penty.
(229) OMG ITS YOU ILU *kidnaps ebeth and ties her to a tree*
I sent you an emo email like 5 minutes ago. : P
UUUHHHHHHHH. what’s penty’s name now?
Argh. Death to blow-dryers.
My sister’s blow-dryer flipped the breaker, and since my mother is at work, we are Without Overhead Lights until the morning. Curses. My sister, of course, refused to admit that it’s her blow-dryer (combined with her heater), and turned off all the lamps in a fit of madness. She’s over it (that came after kicking me repeatedly) (I ignored her), and listening to Madonna. God preserve us from bad pop music from the eighties.
233- separate pentity.
Now, tell me, Em, how’s that project coming along? You know, with the rabbits? EM, WHERE IS THE WATERSHIP DOWN ABRIDGMENT PART THREE????
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHHHAHAHAHAQHAHAHAHA UMMMMMMMMMMMMM WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I DON’T KNOW OF ANY PROJECTS INVOLVING RABBITS!
*sigh* Okay fiiiiiine.
It’s not like I have anything else to do.
*opens word*
Unfortunately, I cannot remember what happens after Bigwig meets keehaar in efrafa. That’s all i have wrtten up to.
236- Er . . . don’t they run away? Or something?
Yeah. SPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSThey_run_away,_then_a_lot_of_them_die_of_shock_and_they_make_it_back_and_are_attacked_by_the_Efrafa_people_and_they_win_and_Fiver_has_a_vision_and_they_live_happily_ever_after.
Remember now?
I know, I don’t remember what happens between the two.
226-Yeah, I forgot. My overgrown tooth hasn’t been hurting in a while. Maybe I’m becoming mortal! *mortified*
So.
I drew a scary emo person. Very scary.
I’m going to keep it on my wall for ever and ever! *hugs picture*
Oooh! Hello Jerry!
Speaking of Jerry, my granfather got home all right, and didn’t die on the bumpy plain ride. That’s good noos.
Phwoar. All I want to say is that yes, it is 12:23 a.m. in my time zone, and there was a school dance last night, and yes, I am completely exhausted and confused. That’s all.
There is no light upstairs. I don’t want to go to bed in the dark. Why on EARTH did they put all the lights on one breaker? It doesn’t make sense.
Hello everyone. I forgot what I was going to say…
Oh yes! So this morning I was having a conversation with Mother (before she went off to some dance event all day on the one day I actually wish she was around more
), and I was talking about how many MBers say they’re going to leave and then don’t. She said something about how if your interests collide with real life, sometimes you have to give up your interests. Obviously she meant the internet. But I pointed out that the internet wasn’t the only interest that collided with real life; reading, for example, and writing. And what’s more, it wasn’t the interests that were getting in the way, it was real life (read: school), and that I had all three of the aforementioned interests before I had to go to school.
So, once again, school is to blame for everything. Yay.
Why doesn’t “its” (possessive) have an apostrophe?
“Its” for the possessive is inconsistent with the convention for nouns, but it is consistent with other pronouns (his, hers, yours, ours, whose). I don’t know when or by whom the current system became standardized, but it could change if enough people start to rely on intuition rather than education. That may already be happening.
244- I know I always find myself putting in an apostrophe.
245-I do anyway and Spell Check hates me for it. And I hate Spell Check right back. Humph.
246- Spellcheck and I have a slightly chilly relationship. It’s very useful for catching typos and it acknowledges pieing as a word, but it won’t admit the dialogue is a word, or grey. And I’m not about to change the whole way I think to accommodate a silly computer.
Pieing is a word. Look:
Main Entry:
3pi
Variant(s):
also pie
Function:
verb
Inflected Form(s):
pied; pi·ing or pie·ing
Date:
1889
transitive verb : to spill or throw (type or type matter) into disorder intransitive verb : to become pied

244~ Maybe it’s just to confuse us all and make it hard to learn grammer. That’s my excuse, anyway…….
Grrr. A spike pie to English grammer. *pies*
_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\_
\____:evil:____/
Hey, some of us like grammar. It always made sense to me. But then, I grew up to be an editor.
Once when I was in ninth grade, my English teacher and I had an argument about the proper use of semicolons. I told her, “Someday I’ll decide where semicolons go.” And now I do. (I don’t remember exactly what we disagreed about, though, or which of us was right.)
251- I like semicolons, even though I don’t always know exactly where they go. I’m inclined to use them too much, though, or else not at all. So sometimes in my writing there will be a breakout of semicolons, one in every other sentence, and then five paragraphs later there won’t be a semicolon to be seen.
250- *catches pie before it can hit its target* Hey, hey, calm down. I don’t want it to die.
251~ Oh, I don’t really mind grammar, it makes sense to me, most of the time.
I also understand the importance of it, I always read and re-read my letters, emails and whatnot to make sure I’ve gotten it right. I usually do. For some reason, I can usually tell what is right, and what isn’t.
(251) Semicolons go wherever I tell them to (moi-hahahaha). They’re not used much in news writing, so it’s always fun to find one that’s really needed.
I use semicolons when I feel like it. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t.
I love grammar!
I don’t always use it correctly, but that’s just because I’m not thinking. And I don’t usually use semicolons.
254-tehehehe…
I have grammar problems, once in a while, but I really think that it is useful… and it really annoys me when people never use it (once in a while, I understand, or if you have a real reason, but all the time is just not “cool”, even though some people seem to think it is).
my mom got a paper from a student once where the first page was about five really loooong sentences with a TON of semicolons. she was kind of mad. she had to read through like a bajillion pages of that. i thought it was funny
I have a weakness for long sentences. And long paragraphs. Ah well.
I’d better go now, before Mom bans me from the computer…..I’ll be back sometime, I don’t know when.
Semicolons are cool. They look nice and professional on the page; they allow you to list phrases containing comments, like this one; and without them, it would be nearly impossible to convey a conspiratorial expression over the Internet.
hey it’s me! is copius fur around? how about agagabagaga?
semicolons DO rock;ever so sorry about the double post. I put semicolons EVERYWHERE;i love them. they look business-like;they look crisp and clean.
I’m glad that you like semicolons, but don’t forget to put a space after them.
263-they need spaces afterwards?
=O
262- But; if; you; overuse; them; they; can; get; annoying;;;;;;; *snaps out of it.*
Welcome back, LGEG. Last time I saw Irregular Bump with Copious Fur, now calling him/herself IBCF, he/she was on the Chronicles of Museica thread. Agagabagabag has recently appeared on the Pie War thread.
ok, how long ago was this?
I don’t really use semicolons much.
By the way, an atrocity has been commited! I’m taking sign language as an elective, but there isn’t a sign for Muse! (gaspchokedie) So I made one up.
Basically you take the sign for think (you take your pointer finger and make a small circle by the edge of your forehead) except instead of your pointer finger you use an M, for Muse. (You make an M by making a fist, except you put your thumb under the three fingers closest to it)
Yes, I was bored.
Me and grammar are completely neutral. We are in a neutral relationship.
I haven’t been on in so long….*gazes off;zones out completely*
Just a couple of days. Look on the recent comments bar for their names if you want to talk with them.
Kiki the great!what’s up?
Hello again, LGE!
Have a pie! *pies*
*pies…..whoever he/she is right back* oh thanks for the pie!*opens box; gleeful smile falls a little bit* it’s…….fruitcake.
272-how do you pronounce that name?
It’s pronounced “eye bee see eff” or IBCF, short for Irregular Bump with Copius Fur. You’ve found your quarry.
HI LGE!!!!!! Glad to see you came back! *pies* *not with fruitcake, though
*
Those are fancy initials for Irregular Bump with Copious Fur. I do not know how to make those fancy letters…
Red-tailed HAWK

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh cool! hi IB/CF! *waves , then pies*
274- He/she is Irregular Bump with Copious Fur.
hi Red tailed hawk! *pies with a cream pie*
274- You just say the letters, which are IBCF, the acronym for Irregular Bump with Copious fur.
ok cool
how do you make the fancy letters IBCF?
With the excitement of LGE returning, several people jumped to answer her question! Of course, Robert answered first, as he was the first to read her post!
279-*pies back* Cream’s good, but if you’re shopping for a christmas present to
givehurl violently at me, as it is tradition around here, apple is my favRed-tailed HAWK

ok…….*in whiplash action, I quickly ninja-like hurl an apple pie at RTH so fast it catches him/her completely by surprise!* MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok…….*in whiplash action, I quickly ninja-like hurl an apple pie at HAWK so quickly he is caught totally unawares*
276, 282- I’m not sure if this will work for you, but I pressed Num Lock, held down Alt, and typed random numbers on the number pad. It took a long time to find fancy letters for “IBCF”, but now my name looks pretty cool.
Does anyone know an easier way of doing this?
ok im trying it
hem-hem*fake cough coughed in a professor umbridge-like way*
ok i tried and…….it did not work.
I wish I wa a computer wiz……….
i really wish that could have been a bit more specific IBCF.
If you have Windows:
Click START, go to All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and Character Map.
Let me try something.
No, it doesn’t work for me.
and IBCF it did not work. in fact, nothing showed up when I tried.
hem hem why is it taking FOREVER FOR MY COMMENTS TO LOAD? IS DOUBLE POSTING REALLY SUCH A TERRIBLE CRIME?
GRRRR. I wrote a lovely long post but couldn’t post it. Luckily I saved it. Not that it’s all applicable now.
Excuse me, but I feel as though I have missed something. *goes off to Who’s Here to find limegreenelephant_girl*
Ugh. Forget it. *sticks out tongue at slow internet* Sorry! I didn’t mean it! You can stay!
LGE– Did you first show up in early November? If so, I don’t believe we’ve met. Hello. *hands pie* *hurls pie* One to eat, one to wipe off your face!
OK IM LEAVING; ILL BE BACK LATER
nup. plus your way of doing things got me really confused with my own keyboard…*sniff*…how dare you try to harm us!!! YYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!
291- Double posting isn’t a terrible crime as long as it isn’t habitual. The slowness of moderation is probably caused by Administrator absence. Remember, they have to personally approve every comment before it goes through.

SNOW DAY!!!! Yippee!!!! *does a happy dance*
Its not actually from snow though, its from freezing rain making the roads icy, which is quite dangerous, and tons of people in my area have no power. The big storm missed my town, but we got hit horribly last year, you could hear trees cracking and falling from the ice all night. It didnt occur to me that we didnt have school until midnight though, because I was concerned about a dog that some stupid person had left out in the horrible weather that was whining. *cries* Anyway.
271- Nothing much. You?
Hey, wait. Do I know you?
243- well, with me it’s that i actualy truly do think that i won’t have anytime for MB at that point in my life *coughlikehowishouldbestufyingforexamsrightnowcough* but then realize whatever i was doing took less time than i thought it would and come on here anyways. RE: its and the apostropjy, i bet it’s so we don’t confuse “it has” with “it is”
260- is it just me or is that improper use of semicolon. i was aware that iot was only used when linking two ideas that really should be two seperate scentances…. but i have been wrong before…
301- ouch
so…. my mother knows i do museblog. i was in the kitchen and i said “okay i’m going on the computer now.” and she asked “do you go on any chat rooms? you know that’s bad right?” “yeah mom” “then whats museblog thingy” “that’s not a chat room mom. (and i proceded to explain about robert, rosanne, rebbecca and paul baker moderating and what not)” and she proceded to outline online safety but said “well, that seems like an okay alternative” so MB is approved but not encouraged.
On the Muses for sale-if it’s the first two years, I’m not sure how march 2007 fits in, but if it really is from the first two years, I would like to have them but I doubt they will give them to me for free
Phooey!
Dancergirl- ICE STORM ACK WE HAD ONE MANY YEARS AGO that was scary. At two in the morning or something like that, the neighbor’s tree lost a HUGE branch that fell into the middle of the road 15 feet from my bedroom. It sounded so loud I thought the road must have cracked in half, but it didn’t. But we lost at least power, maybe phone too, but I think it might have only gotten our lines to our house, but maybe the power for our street. But our town, I don’t know if I saw it, but my dad at least did, the main commercial area was almost ALL DARK actually now it comes back to me, I did see it. We lost power for days.
And the temperature in the house went into the mid FORTIES AHHH I REMEMBER THAT YIKES!!!!!!
I have to stop *pant pant* I while have nightmares.
Red-tailed HAWK the SCARED

304-I KNOW IT WAS SO SCARY!!!!! We heard things like that all night, and when we woke up the next day and looked out the window, it was like a tornado hit in the middle of december……*shivers*
(304) Sorry! It’s actually the January-February 1997 issue. We’re talking ancient history here.
Ah glorious day! I did two skits in acting and while one of them was only moderately good, the other one was very good, IMHO. Of course, that’s probably because my stage fright lent a shaky element to it that fit in nicely. Or maybe because by that time I wasn’t nervous anymore at all.
PE was actually good today, because I decided that I didn’t care one bit what other people thought about (I love that feeling), and I skipped around the track singing “Raven Girl” in fallen-down knee socks (okay, that’s an exaggeration; I did skip, and I did sing Raven Girl, but I only skipped at the beginning and I sang quietly. My knee socks were truly falling down). And then M brought up her stories she’d given me to read ages ago and I hadn’t got around to reading. Turns out she wants me to be her EDITOR. *squee* So I got to be weird some more. OMG! You want me to EDIT it? I love editing! *claps* *smiles blissfully*
I have a munkey. It be pretty.
298-option key=alt key, huzzah for macs indeed
307-alice, i know the feeling (of not caring what other people think). It is pretty spiffy.
on that general note, my favorite facebook event at the moment is the sing your way to class day. i don’t remember where i saw it (i think it was on a musers mini-feed actually :O) but i absolutely LOVED it. brilliant idea. basically, somebody realized how dull the walk to class was, so on this day you just find somebody else willing to participate and you both walk to class singing at the top of your lungs.
On the Muses for sale topic, I WANTS THEM. And I might be getting them! Eep!
