I’m going to Arizona during summer, three weeks on my own, then at the end three weeks in scandinavia going from Finland to Sweden to Norway. From Oslo to Stockholm to Gotland to Helsinki to the lake region.

We’re going to Mexico this summer. The only other countries I’ve been to are South Africa and Canada…and this summer I’ll be adding another one to my list! We’re probably going to visit my aunt and uncle when they move to Croatia, though. I’m not sure why we didn’t visit them when they were in Turkmenistan, Armenia, or Mexico, but…I guess my mom just likes Croatia!

It was for marching, and some pretty cool parts where we got to run around in circles(well, it wasn’t supposed to be circles, but we had extrra time, so why just stright lines?)

This is the random thread… so I thought I’d point out that I went to the website on the last page of the March issue, looking for the animation, which I I thought would be awesome, AND… it was a letdown. There was an animation of an all-edge masterwork, but it didn’t show all 12 paintings, only 2 of them! Anyone else notice this?
Not that I’m trying to kill the current discussion. So I’ll contribute that this summer I’m maybe going to the Appalachian mountains or something. Who knows.

The only thing I do know what I’m doing is (what fun) :-X moving. Luckily, I’m not moving really far from where I live now, so the stuff I do probably won’t be disrupted. But the idea of actually doing it is not fun. I moved twice last year.

Went to the mall today w/ Mia. We were just doing a ton of girlish-impulse shopping. Then Matt called Mia’s phone, and I talked to him. He was just like “Thanks for inviting me to the mall,” so I felt a bit guilty…Hopefully I didn’t hurt his feelings too much. Oh, and it was funny – As soon as we were done talking, I gave the phone back to Mia, and they got in this really weird name-calling session. I have no idea why…Man, was it funny, though. They must have a love / hate relationship or something.

I will be going to Cape May this Spring, and Tennessee this Summer. I have had several people ask me to work for them, including the owner of the local bicycle shop and a couple who run a nature shop, but I can’t work for money unless I’m 14 or older. *sigh* I think they said I could volunteer, but I don’t understand that. How is volunteering any less like child labor? If anything it’s worse, as you aren’t even being paid! *confuzzeled* *sigh again*

-being a counselor at Girl Scout Day Camp
-going on a mission trip with my church to San Francisco (last year we went to West Virginia, so this one’s a bit closer to home)
-maybe going to a running camp up in Mammoth. Muy muy emocionado!

46: I didn’t know the Slovakians had a gypsy problem. Why does everyone have to be going somewhere froody over the summer? I’m going to be stuck at home out in the middle of nowhere. Okay, it’s not really out in the middle of nowhere, but it sure feels like it. I went on a mission trip to New Orleans last summer, which was awsome. anyways small change of subject anyone here like doing comics and what not. o’m attempting to do one about a sentenial like cyborg. she was once a girl but her father was a top crime boss and they were brutaly murdered by enemies. then before the funeral this man steals her body and over the next few years works on bringing her back to life and changing her into a death machine. when Loretta/cyborgirl (the female lead characters name) wakes up she doesn’t remember her life. the evil man opresses her. Cyborgirl is haunted by dreams of her life. and one day she breaks free. searching for those who killed her. she kills them in a back alleyway. unsuspecting Diana Fort is taking a shortcut home from the Univeristy and finds Cyborgirl lying in the alley. Cyborgirl awakens in her loretta state of mind and Dianna brings her home and cleans the blood off her.
does this sound interesting so far? tell me if you want to hear more about Cyborgirl. and loretta’s conection to Dianna?

This was like, the best Monday, ever. There was a teacher meeting, so we had a two-hr delay. Some of the ppl from thespian club decided to organize a thespian get-together / surprise party for Seth at the omelette shop this morning. About twelve of us showed up. Oh gosh, we were so loud! I thought that we would get kicked out! But we didn’t. I ordered a fritatta (spelled wrong), which is basically an omelette that hasn’t been folded in half. Mm. Brittany K and someone else (forgot who) went back to skool before the rest of us + decorated Seth’s locker…and then taped it shut! Hehe…Yeah, my skool has this tradition of decorating ppl’s lockers on their birthdays. Anyone else have any weird traditions at your skool?

Invader Zim? I remember that… vaguely. Zim wanted to go take over a planet so they gave him this unimportant one, earth, and his robot was just cobbled together and was green and the rest were red. I remember the doom song quite well, and one episode where there was someone else trying to take over the world, and there were puzzle pieces in the sky, and Zim had to convince that other guy who suspected him that they should band togethr against the other people, and the earth was right near the sun. I suggest that you go south and see my desert (the Sonoran Desert)! It’s beautiful. I love it. Take a day trip to Nogales and buy some stuff in Mexico… that is, if you have a US passport. It might be harder to get back across the border if you don’t.
If you go to Tucson (soooo much better than Pheonix): go to 4th Avenue and visit the Hippie Gypsy. I have a feeling you’d be at home there. It’s really hard to miss.

132-A handy tip… Once you see that it has loaded the links to as many threads as you intend to look at, just click on the stop button at the top of your window; it is just to the right of the forward arrow in my internet explorer window. That way you don’t have to wait for the entire page to load. Then, if for some reason you want to look at a thread from long ago, you can let the whole thing load. Was that at least semi-understandable? *hopes*
By the way, why do the GAPAs names look like links, but when you try to click on them, nothing happens. Is it just my computer? I would hate to be missing something about the GAPAs!

Say, I have a random question. Does anyone here sing, or are you friends w/ someone who does? Do you/they have any confidence issues? I have the weirdest confidence issue. I can’t sing in front of people I know (except for close friends + my voice teacher)…yet I can sing in front of strangers (w/o getting major stage fright). My voice teacher says I’m pretty good, and I feel that I sound alright when I’m at a voice lesson…but when I’m in front of a bunch of people I know (which is what happens when there are voice tests in chorale), I totally screw up. It sucks!

(143) This may not make sense, but from about Sunday to today I have been sleeping irregularly; I’ll get home and fall asleep for a few hours and wake up around 7-8 and then go to sleep again at like 12-2. I wake up at around 7AM. I lost my concept of time and days since I was no longer sleeping in definite periods of time. Since when I slept and woke up was essentially always the same day, I wasn’t living by days but the tilt of the light IT MADE SENSE TO ME HONESTLY I THINK IT WAS JUST JITTERY FROM LACK OF SLEEP no srsly I started shaking yesterday, I couldn’t write and I was like what is going on here.

I don’t think you’re quite right in saying that an appalachian/mountain/lap/fretted/plucked dulcimer (yes it has a lot of names) isn’t a dulcimer though. It is a dulcimer, despite being almost completely different from hammered dulcimers, which i agree are superior. I’ve played hammered dulcimer since i was….nine i think. so almost 5 years.

177-it is confusing. still, it is a dulcimer. technically, the instrument which you call a dulcimer is a hammered dulcimer, while the other one is any of the 5 or o names i said before. still, both have dulcimer in their names and are therefore both dulcimers. Just like someone with the sme last name as you is still a Baker, even if he/she isn’t related to you.

Ok, maybe it’s because I’ve been at home sick for the past four days and on MuseBlog every five minutes, but I’ve been getting really depressed about MuseBlog lately. I mean, I absolutely love MuseBlog, and when it’s ‘down’ I literally get MuseBlog withdrawal. I make Muse graphs and posters and podcasts in almost all of my spare time, but it has been really different lately. (Again, maybe just because I’ve been on it a LOT in the past few days). With the flow of newbies, PoPoers, and just overall rudeness and unnecessary criticism of other MuseBloggers, it has just seemed like such a burden to read so many pointless posts and see everyone so mean to each other. I don’t know if this makes any sense, but it seems like the blog is, in a way, changing. I am on here all the time, and I feel like I don’t know anybody. People are pretending to be other people, changing their names all the time, and I feel like nobody really understands what MuseBlog is about (even though I know there are a ton of people who do). There are a lot of people here who are trying to keep the blog under control (the PoPoPo, etc..), but a lot of it does not work. I know not much can be done about new people who don’t know the rules, so I guess this is sort of a pointless post, but I have just been noticing things that don’t seem muserly. I mean, I have been on the blog for a little over a year, and when I was new I didn’t really know what to do either. I made many pointless posts, I’m sure, and I was one of a big flow of newbies. But I learned (I hope), and got to meet so many great people and make a lot of friends. But last week, I think, was the first time a MuseBlogger was banned from the blog. It made me really sad that this kind of thing was happening on the blog, and I started thinking a lot about what has been going on. I went back through the blog, and read my previous posts, etc. I re-read MontgomeryGurl’s letter, and a letter written by MontgomeryGurl and elassë~adael, and I thought their ideas were stated perfectly. I urge everyone to go to these links:

I know that, as a relatively new MBer, I really have no perspective on the “old days” but it seems that there is definitely a gap between conversational MBers and annoying MBers, and the annoying ones tend to fall into the newbie category, though this does not mean all newbies are annoying. I don’t think that very many people go out of their way to be annoying, but are just unaware that their attitude is viewed as rude to others. If there was someway you could inform someone that they were begining to get on some peoples nerves without being criticized for being discrimanatory, it would help. Personally, I’ve tried my very best to have at least some content to everything I post, but there are others who may not realize that people do not want to read their incorrectly spelled, three word posts. There are plenty of people willing to have an intelligent discussion, there are equally as many who would rather just post what they want without the censorship of others. I don’t think you should delete all pointless posts, but rather try to inform people that pointless posting is verboten/looked down upon when they start. Hopefully, I’ve made sense and someone will actually read this.

(see the second most recent religion thread if you want an example) What is so wrong with having different opinions? Isn’t discussion one of the things this blog is for, and isn’t discussion a tool for brainstorming ideas together? Whatever happened to the unity of the blog? The respect and caring we had for one another? It makes me sad to think what the blog is becoming, and that reminders about kindness are necessary. (the popo reminders aren’t so sad as newbies don’t necessarily understand what the blog is for but I expect newcomers to know what kindness, respect and understanding are if not how to write meaningful and efficient posts) Why must our discussions burst into flame wars? Oh my gosh, I haven’t been on here in AGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just haven’t really felt like going on, and didn’t really have time anyways. Stupid school. Neh.
Anyways, the dance was Friday night!!! Fun fun fun! My friend and I were on a mission to find the right light switch to turn off the portion of lights that were still on in the gym. *spy music plays* We found it! But it was right behind the DJ!!!!!!!!! YIKES!!!! Finally, the DJ turned it off. Everyone was screaming when the lights went off… and on when we accidentally flipped the wrong light switch. Whoops. Anyways, it was a rather eventful night. Still fun though. It was really funny when I tried to get my other friend’s crush to dance with her. However, he wouldn’t move his lazy but out of his circle of friends so… Neh. Oh well.
Yesterday, I had marching band “camp” from 9:30 in the morning until noon! It was fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnn….. Really hard work though. I kept messing up. Not as bad as some of the other people. My friend Justin got sick and had to sit out for a while. Not fun. Still, we got to go outside! Yay!

LOL. I’m in Florida (Longboat Key) and we have no internet in the condo. So I was playing MarbleBlast Gold and I got bored, so I carried the computer around the house looking for a network. And I found one! This is awesome.

I was swimming in the ocean today and Mom decided we should go to the pool. So we went, the pool felt like a hot tub compared with the ocean!

194- Thank you. MuseBlog should be a place where friends talk to eack other about stuff. It’s a conversation. In conversations, people don’t walk up, say three words, and walk away. Besides, the chances are very small that you would actually be on at exactly the right time and thread to see someone’s post. And impersonations are pointless. No one on museblog is really that interested in impersonating other musebloggers and its very easy to tell if someone is impersonating a gapa. If someone was impersonating you, just post something saying so. Really, who on museblog would do something like that?

Heya people.
This is such a nice time of the year. The weather’s not hot and dry, but not freezing cold, either. Then there’s prom dress shopping, decorating for Easter…Unfortunately, I should also start preparing for my road test, as well as my two AP tests!
It’s getting so hard to find time to come here these days – I might actually have a life now! It’s even getting hard to try and balance the time I spend w/ my friends + the time I spend w/ my BF.
In conclusion, I guess I just want to say that I probably won’t be coming here as much, anymore. Hey, I’m not pissed off at anyone / anything here! I just need to get away from the comp and live a little.

I’m going to Arizona during summer, three weeks on my own, then at the end three weeks in scandinavia going from Finland to Sweden to Norway. From Oslo to Stockholm to Gotland to Helsinki to the lake region.
I might be going to Mexico this summer. But I’ve never traveled farther than the North American continent. Sigh…

We’re going to Mexico this summer. The only other countries I’ve been to are South Africa and Canada…and this summer I’ll be adding another one to my list! We’re probably going to visit my aunt and uncle when they move to Croatia, though. I’m not sure why we didn’t visit them when they were in Turkmenistan, Armenia, or Mexico, but…I guess my mom just likes Croatia!

This is the random thread… so I thought I’d point out that I went to the website on the last page of the March issue, looking for the animation, which I I thought would be awesome, AND… it was a letdown. There was an animation of an all-edge masterwork, but it didn’t show all 12 paintings, only 2 of them! Anyone else notice this?

I will be going to Cape May this Spring, and Tennessee this Summer. I have had several people ask me to work for them, including the owner of the local bicycle shop and a couple who run a nature shop, but I can’t work for money unless I’m 14 or older. *sigh* I think they said I could volunteer, but I don’t understand that. 46: I didn’t know the Slovakians had a gypsy problem. Why does everyone have to be going somewhere froody over the summer? I’m going to be stuck at home out in the middle of nowhere. Cyborgirl is haunted by dreams of her life. and one day she breaks free. searching for those who killed her. she kills them in a back alleyway. unsuspecting Diana Fort is taking a shortcut home from the Univeristy and finds Cyborgirl lying in the alley. Cyborgirl awakens in her loretta state of mind and Dianna brings her home and cleans the blood off her.

This was like, the best Monday, ever. There was a teacher meeting, so we had a two-hr delay. Some of the ppl from thespian club decided to organize a thespian get-together / surprise party for Seth at the omelette shop this morning. About twelve of us showed up. Oh gosh, we were so loud! I thought that we would get kicked out! But we didn’t. I ordered a fritatta (spelled wrong), which is basically an omelette that hasn’t been folded in half. Mm. Brittany K and someone else (forgot who) went back to skool before the rest of us + decorated Seth’s locker…and then taped it shut! Hehe…Yeah, my skool has this tradition of decorating ppl’s lockers on their birthdays. Anyone else have any weird traditions at your skool?

Capricious, what sorts of pictures are you looking for? For a start, you could try a Google image search for outlines, drawing, even coloring book, or whatever type of picture you want.

Invader Zim? I remember that… vaguely. Zim wanted to go take over a planet so they gave him this unimportant one, earth, and his robot was just cobbled together and was green and the rest were red. I suggest that you go south and see my desert (the Sonoran Desert)! It’s beautiful. I love it. Take a day trip to Nogales and buy some stuff in Mexico… that is, if you have a US passport. It might be harder to get back across the border if you don’t.
If you go to Tucson (soooo much better than Pheonix): go to 4th Avenue and visit the Hippie Gypsy. I have a feeling you’d be at home there. It’s really hard to miss.

132-A handy tip… Once you see that it has loaded the links to as many threads as you intend to look at, just click on the stop button at the top of your window; it is just to the right of the forward arrow in my internet explorer window. That way you don’t have to wait for the entire page to load. Then, if for some reason you want to look at a thread from long ago, you can let the whole thing load. Was that at least semi-understandable? *hopes*
By the way, why do the GAPAs names look like links, but when you try to click on them, nothing happens. Is it just my computer? I would hate to be missing something about the GAPAs!

Say, I have a random question. Does anyone here sing, or are you friends w/ someone who does? Do you/they have any confidence issues? I have the weirdest confidence issue. I can’t sing in front of people I know (except for close friends + my voice teacher)…yet I can sing in front of strangers (w/o getting major stage fright). My voice teacher says I’m pretty good, and I feel that I sound alright when I’m at a voice lesson…but when I’m in front of a bunch of people I know (which is what happens when there are voice tests in chorale), I totally screw up. It sucks!

(143) This may not make sense, but from about Sunday to today I have been sleeping irregularly; I’ll get home and fall asleep for a few hours and wake up around 7-8 and then go to sleep again at like 12-2. I wake up at around 7AM. I lost my concept of time and days since I was no longer sleeping in definite periods of time. I don’t think you’re quite right in saying that an appalachian/mountain/lap/fretted/plucked dulcimer (yes it has a lot of names) isn’t a dulcimer though. It is a dulcimer, despite being almost completely different from hammered dulcimers, which i agree are superior. I’ve played hammered dulcimer since i was….nine i think. so almost 5 years.

177-it is confusing. still, it is a dulcimer. technically, the instrument which you call a dulcimer is a hammered dulcimer, while the other one is any of the 5 or o names i said before. still, both have dulcimer in their names and are therefore both dulcimers. 189-Once, on a roleplaying website, a friend and I were both moderators. One day I happened to notice that we poth had the power to edit posts. That was a really wacky day.
Ok, maybe it’s because I’ve been at home sick for the past four days and on MuseBlog every five minutes, but I’ve been getting really depressed about MuseBlog lately. I mean, I absolutely love MuseBlog, and when it’s ‘down’ I literally get MuseBlog withdrawal. I make Muse graphs and posters and podcasts in almost all of my spare time, but it has been really different lately. (Again, maybe just because I’ve been on it a LOT in the past few days). With the flow of newbies, PoPoers, and just overall rudeness and unnecessary criticism of other MuseBloggers, it has just seemed like such a burden to read so many pointless posts and see everyone so mean to each other. I don’t know if this makes any sense, but it seems like the blog is, in a way, changing. I am on here all the time, and I feel like I don’t know anybody. People are pretending to be other people, changing their names all the time, and I feel like nobody really understands what MuseBlog is about (even though I know there are a ton of people who do). There are a lot of people here who are trying to keep the blog under control (the PoPoPo, etc..), but a lot of it does not work. I know not much can be done about new people who don’t know the rules, so I guess this is sort of a pointless post, but I have just been noticing things that don’t seem muserly. I mean, I have been on the blog for a little over a year, and when I was new I didn’t really know what to do either. I made many pointless posts, I’m sure, and I was one of a big flow of newbies. But I learned (I hope), and got to meet so many great people and make a lot of friends. But last week, I think, was the first time a MuseBlogger was banned from the blog. It made me really sad that this kind of thing was happening on the blog, and I started thinking a lot about what has been going on. I went back through the blog, and read my previous posts, etc. I re-read MontgomeryGurl’s letter, and a letter written by MontgomeryGurl and elassë~adael, and I thought their ideas were stated perfectly. I know that, as a relatively new MBer, I really have no perspective on the “old days” but it seems that there is definitely a gap between conversational MBers and annoying MBers, and the annoying ones tend to fall into the newbie category, though this does not mean all newbies are annoying. I don’t think that very many people go out of their way to be annoying, but are just unaware that their attitude is viewed as rude to others. If there was someway you could inform someone that they were begining to get on some peoples nerves without being criticized for being discrimanatory, it would help. Personally, I’ve tried my very best to have at least some content to everything I post, but there are others who may not realize that people do not want to read their incorrectly spelled, three word posts. There are plenty of people willing to have an intelligent discussion, there are equally as many who would rather just post what they want without the censorship of others. I don’t think you should delete all pointless posts, but rather try to inform people that pointless posting is verboten/looked down upon when they start. Hopefully, I’ve made sense and someone will actually read this.

(see the second most recent religion thread if you want an example) What is so wrong with having different opinions? Isn’t discussion one of the things this blog is for, and isn’t discussion a tool for brainstorming ideas together? Whatever happened to the unity of the blog? The respect and caring we had for one another? It makes me sad to think what the blog is becoming, and that reminders about kindness are necessary. (the popo reminders aren’t so sad as newbies don’t necessarily understand what the blog is for but I expect newcomers to know what kindness, respect and understanding are if not how to write meaningful and efficient posts) Why must our discussions burst into flame wars? Anyways, the dance was Friday night!!! Fun fun fun! My friend and I were on a mission to find the right light switch to turn off the portion of lights that were still on in the gym. *spy music plays* We found it! But it was right behind the DJ!!!!!!!!! YIKES!!!! Finally, the DJ turned it off. Everyone was screaming when the lights went off… and on when we accidentally flipped the wrong light switch. Whoops. Anyways, it was a rather eventful night. Still fun though. It was really funny when I tried to get my other friend’s crush to dance with her. However, he wouldn’t move his lazy but out of his circle of friends so… Neh. Oh well.
Yesterday, I had marching band “camp” from 9:30 in the morning until noon! It was fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnn….. Really hard work though. I kept messing up. Not as bad as some of the other people. My friend Justin got sick and had to sit out for a while. Not fun. Still, we got to go outside! Yay!

194- Thank you. MuseBlog should be a place where friends talk to eack other about stuff. It’s a conversation. In conversations, people don’t walk up, say three words, and walk away. They don’t say things that have nothing to do with the conversation. Friends don’t insult each other, not true friends, not on a regular basis.

Besides, the chances are very small that you would actually be on at exactly the right time and thread to see someone’s post. And impersonations are pointless. No one on museblog is really that interested in impersonating other musebloggers and its very easy to tell if someone is impersonating a gapa. If someone was impersonating you, just post something saying so. Really, who on museblog would do something like that?

I was blissfully ignorant of the meaning of BSOD until I looked it up. As a longtime Mac user, I had no clue. Seems similar to the “chimes of death” and “sad mac’ screens on old Macs.

This is such a nice time of the year. The weather’s not hot and dry, but not freezing cold, either. Then there’s prom dress shopping, decorating for Easter…Unfortunately, I should also start preparing for my road test, as well as my two AP tests!
It’s getting so hard to find time to come here these days – I might actually have a life now! It’s even getting hard to try and balance the time I spend w/ my friends + the time I spend w/ my BF.
