Okay, I am going to sound really dumb asking this, but could someone please explain the whole Muser Ponts thing and how it works? I’m really confused.

I think Blog games are along the lines of triangle writing and looking for things that don’t exist.
I have no idea what Muse Points are. Maybe it’s a score based on senseless, random, and useless comments?
ASCII text is easy. For linux users go to the command line and type in figlet. You may have to install figlet. Sorry Windows users.
The command would look something like this:

This will be my last post for now. For people who don’t know about the Holy Coconut of High Magic, it’s from a fr00dy game called ZORK, Grand Inquizitor. This game isn’t really from the series of ZORK command-line games, it’s got graphics (not very god ones). The idea of it is that magic has been outlawed, and you’re the one to save it, by restoring the three relics of magic, a skull (low magic), a brick of salt (middle magic) and a coconut with a wierd crown-thing (high magic). I know it sounds like it sucks, but it’s really quite fun and humorous. It’s got no action, by the way, it almost all puzzle-solving. Well, it’s all puzzle-solving.

I think it’s a neat idea but it would clog up the random thread. Yes, it is the random thread but this is a a game of sorts and therefore should have it’s own thread so it’s players may play to their heart’s content without people grumblingat them. XD Much like the Pie Wars, I must again state.
Ok, who else is playing and what rules are we starting with?
I think Wikipedia said the rules started being the first to get 100 points by dice roll, but we don’t exactly have dice. It also said the rules started deliberately boring but people played nomic versions of other games too, like Monopoly and it mentioned Mornington Crescent once. I looked that up and it was from a British radio show with people saying names of London Underground stations and whoever said Mornington Crescent first won. That sounds fun. Some variant of that, only we live all across the country and there’s no place some people wouldn’t have a huge advantage. Maybe blog posts? Like, we start here, and we can only go to posts that we can justify as being related to the current one, and whoever can get to the first post ever first wins. You can only move one step at a time. Before you ask, saying this post is written to e~a, she had the second post ever, it comes right after the first post doesn’t count. Make it interesting. Anyone agree/disagree/have an alternative?

Look, MG left (basically) because of pointless posting and hyper newbies and the way the blog was losing its sense of community. She didn’t leave because other people had a different concept of fun from her. We remind people of this when they need to be reminded, not when we feel like backing up a personal dislike of something. Plz to not take MG’s name in vain.
That being said, if we had some blog ascii game thing, I would not play. But if there was a thread for it, and the players kept their ascii-ness confined to that thread and didn’t spam the random thread (or anywhere else) with it, I don’t see how it could hurt. And whoever wanted to play should be allowed to play in peace.
