Help newcomers and others ferret out the hidden delights of threads of yore.
(Translation: Some old threads on the blog were pretty good, but once they scroll off the main page they become hard to find. Here’s a place to post some of your favorites. Tell what it is and paste in the URL, or use HTML to make a highlighted link.)
I’ll start by putting in a plug for “Robert & Rosanne Unmasked,” the short video clip that Rosanne and I posted back in August 2005:

Also, my two efforts at Muse/Harry Potter fanfiction, in which
(1) the Muses invade the pages of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=52 and
(2) Feather meets Fleur Delacour
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=92
Next!
Em’s abridged version of Watership Down (the adventures of Hazel & Co., part 1: the Journey). Not to be missed, whether you are fan or foe of Richard Adams’s novel.

Yes, that was a great one. And let’s not forget the day we met the Dude Who Says “Dude”:

My appearance should be a major factor in the blog’s history.
It was definantly a good thing on the day I came to this blog.

Oh yeah peoples! I’m all over the smiley thread with peoples selling fizzymeboppits. And I didn’t think anyone noticed the WD stuff. I have about half of part two written if anyone wants me to finish it. How precisely did you find that, lady bunniful?
All-time favourite:

Yeah, baby! I know I made things interesting…ah, the sentence that started it all…
https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=614#comment-12I forget how to make a link, so I hope that works…
I think everyone who’s been here more than a month or two, I recommend going back to the first thread you posted on, and reading your first few posts ever. In my case it was the September Welcome Newcomers or whatever it’s called. I’m too lazy to go find the URL though. I was so amazingly stupid.
I notice that the GAPAs didn’t censor your last name.
9-Psh…I don’t even remember what that was…I know it was on Sept. 5, though.
(7) Em, I would love to see part two. Part one was a highlight of my lurking days, so I knew exactly where to find it. My favorite line:
“Freakishly Weird Bunnies: Oh yeah, and we forgot to mention that you might get killed unexpectedly at any moment. But it’s a small price to pay for our wonderful lifestyle.”
Why stop at WD, why not “Em’s Abridged Classics”?
Actually, I thought that line needed work. It wasn’t snappy enough.
Can I have a thread for it? I found the first par of part two which I started writing in my dab (I also wrote part 1 in my dab, along with one of the aothpb episodes) And it’s going to be really long.
(13) But you caught the psychology exactly. I’ve known many of the human counterparts all too well.
(14) How about after you finish part two?
That was kinda the point.
geesus, who do you know who would live in a potentially fatal situation just so they could be comfortable? I mean, besides kings.

err yes. indeed. 7- i remember that!!!!!!!!!!! twas awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! and im in it, making it even more so. (cheeseinator was me before i realized someone else already was cheesinator and it was a boring name)
Yup! I forgot that. you were a very essential part of the conception of that saga. Without you, it never would have been written. Seriously. Brilliant genii such as ourselves lack only inspiration.
If you were ever curious to know how it all began…

If you think that this is similar to its 2006.1 incarnation, your in for a surprise…
Okay, maybe it is similar, but the story of the afareet has changed a lot, mostly for the better.
the Fleur Delacour fanfic was very good. I always thought she was an underdeveloped character.
*a-HEM!* As everyone has said, I will say and say it fantastically I will. The appearance of me, CAPRICIOUS!!!! THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE!!!!!! BWUAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
HA! AHA-ah-ahem…. sorry. The appearance of me appearingly appearing when I appeared here on TEH MUSEBLOG should be fantasmical.
I remmember it like it was yesterday: time and space wavers and you see a blue fox girl with purple hair, green eyes and green ears and a Yellow saber-toothed tiger boy who is slightly shorter than the fox girl who has octopus tenticals for arms, sea-foam green hair and a spiked tail sitting at a computer (windows)
Fox Girl (Tammi): What do you want to say?
Saber-Toothed tiger boy (Xakc): I don’t know… You go first.
Tammi: Fine. (While typing) ‘Capricious: I am so happy that we can post here. I just hope we don’t get pie-SPLAT!’.
Xakc: (Telling Tammi and Tammi is typing) ‘Clever: Thanks for the pies.’.
Tammi: (sarcastically) nice.
(If you guys didn’t know- Tammi is my fursona-She is me in animal form. I would show you a picture but you guys probably wouldn’t care. And Xakc it my brother. Again, I’d show you a picture, but you probably don’t care.)
– Capricious the great and terrible a.k.a. Tammi and “The Monobrower”
A great day in the history of the blog; the day the Lemon Meringue Treaty was signed. That act not only ended the worst Pie War the blog has ever seen, it spawned nine threads that have stimulated creativity in every Muser to visit them. And let’s not forget the one who suggested the Treaty… *koffmekoff* Of course, that was only an attempt to atone for my unusually blood-(filling-?) thirsty attitude toward the war. *sigh*
if you are interested in any form of text entertainment(reading) then go to BOOKS AND READING. you can discuss any book you have ever read, cause most likely, others have read it also. it rox my sox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
has no one mentioned the peaceful pie planet? Shame on you all, for the PPP thread is the best one here, even though it has sunk to the third page, it’s awesome, and we’re just starting a sport, so if you want to be on a team, take a look at the PPP thread.
put this thread back on the main page so people can see it!
Also, here’s a good thread: Science Fiction RRR, started Feb. 2
